The Eastern Orthodox Church's priesthood is based on the Old Testament, not the New Testament, and is therefore invalid. Mormonism teaches that God was once a man who became a god through his own efforts, and that Jesus is his brother. The Mormon doctrine of blood atonement, which holds that certain sins can only be forgiven through the shedding of one's own blood, is also discussed. The Mountain Meadows massacre, in which over 120 people were killed by Mormon militiamen, is examined as an example of the violent and oppressive nature of the Mormon church.
