The book of Revelation reveals a four-stage movement of revelation from the Father to the Son, to the angels, and to John, who wrote it down for the churches. Jesus' position is one of co-action with the Father, not independence, and he is the mediator between God and man. The language of the Bible is not misleading, but it requires understanding of the original Greek language to grasp its true meaning. The revelation is unfolding from God to Jesus, to the angel, to John, and to the servants of Jesus.
