The gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to equip the saints for the work of the ministry and the edifying of the body of Christ. A worthy walk involves humility, unity, and individuality, exercising the gifts for the mutual edification of the body of Christ. It enhances unity, produces maturity, and adds stability. However, the unbelieving world is aimless, sightless, and shameless, living in futility, darkness, and ignorance. Believers must put off the old man and put on the new man, created according to God in true righteousness and holiness.
