What does the fact that Jesus is coming back again... change about the way you live You know, right this minute, like he he is coming. Perhaps today, as Billy Graham would say. I understand he would say that every morning when he woke up, Doc. Perhaps today.

Hello there, Trick Talk Live listeners. It's 9.28, and we're looking at Hebrews 9.28 today.

So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for him, he will appear a second time apart from sin for salvation. And as I wrote on that today, Robbie, I had heard years ago that Billy Graham said he started each day with Perhaps today. And what a way to start your day. Waking up, good morning, Lord.

Perhaps today. You'll come back. This will be the day the Lord. brings his bride home. And the second coming is a truth of Scripture.

That should be more than theology. It should be how we practice our lives. Living out the Christian life. I love it and it is convicting, right? Yeah.

like the man that just cuts you off in traffic. Not near as important, right? If Jesus shows up over your shoulder. But, you know, what do you think? I this is a great, great you know, just You know, there's been times if I was just completely honest with myself, like, Lord, can you wait until after this big, you know, vacation I'm heading out on?

Yeah. Yeah. 8663487884. 8663487884. What does the fact that Jesus is coming again change about the way you are living like right now?

Because I mean, literally, if he showed up right this minute, you know. What would you be thinking? I love that. It's extremely convicting. I love that Billy Graham.

Added that to his daily routine. And I got to try to make myself a note because how fun. Right? Yeah. Now uh how do you begin your day I I heard Benjamin Franklin started his day out with What good shall I do today And he closed his day out with, What good have I done today?

And that's another great approach to a day. But Billy Graham, it really did, Bobby, have an impact on my life years ago that. With all that I'm going to be doing today, the things that I'm interested in, there should be. In my mind. Perhaps today.

And how then does that impact how I'm going to be living the decisions I make and and the decisions I decide to not do some things.

Well, what I called you is, you know, I you know, if we're completely transparent, I I found out at about one o'clock today that I was going to do this show. And so I I called Doc and he didn't take my call. Because you were doing something that was right along these lines. And I was so I was so delighted w when you called me and told me why you didn't take the call, but exactly right, that that the young lady that was waiting on you at that table, this was a divine appointment. Yeah, we um with with my date the word ministry, one of the ways we use it is to ask people, especially like a waiter or waitress, they'll always ask you at some point, is there anything else I can do for you?

So I say, Well well, there is. Could you tell me when your birthday is? And I always say just the month and the day. Don't need your the year, don't need to know your age, month and day. And th this lady, she said, um, Well, my my birthday is 1130.

And I'm like, oh, wow, that's I'll have something for you at a little bit. And uh when she came back, um I'm sitting there. I need to show you this. I think you're going to really like it. And.

Uh Proverbs 11.30. He who wins souls is wise. The fruit of the righteous is as a tree of life. He who wins souls is wise. And and you and all of a sudden the phone's ringing.

And I'm like, wait a minute. Um and and I and she and and and she's a how how did you do that and and and and and you're I'm seeing your name and the number, but I've got to get rid of that so I can show her. She wants to see the app. How did she do that? And so I hung up on you and I said, I I I just gonna have to Robbie, I've gotta talk to this lady about um No, you didn't answer I like the fact that you didn't answer the phone, like you said, you just hung up I l I love it'cause that you know, it's just clearly way more important.

Right? Way more important. Like you only have this one moment with this young lady. And and I you know, I just think that that is spectacular. And I I've been very, very blessed on lots of occasions'cause we get a chance to eat together frequently and Um it's always a highlight to see Uh the waiter, the waitress, as the case may be, just completely You know.

Dive into the scripture and get a chance to whit their appetite in something that is connected to their very birth, right?

Well then she asked me Well, when's my birthday? And did I have a birthday verse? And I go, well, yes, my birthday is 12, 23. And it's 1 Samuel 12, 23, where Samuel says, God forbid that I sin by not proving. praying for you.

and to teach you the right way. And I said, my ministry for years has been praying for people. and teaching them the right way. And uh she goes, That is so good. I've got a cousin cousin and both of her children were born on 1223.

I can't wait to tell them what their birthday verse is. See, so Getting back to all you out there that are calling in, we hope, any second with what does the fact that Jesus is coming again change about the way you live, like right this minute, you know? How cool would it be, right? Jesus comes back and he finds you making much of him.

However, that may look, right? Like, here he comes, and there you are. And you look up at him, and he's like, he's got this big smile on his face. Or, you know. Unfortunately.

And I know. That God is just, He's smiling like crazy. Like, actually, today. a little earlier, uh one of our listeners sent me a song for the Jesus Labor Love'cause they know we're struggling to get cars donated and all this stuff.

So they they they wrote a song for the Jesus Labor Love. To get people to donate cars, man. I mean, how cool is that? And wouldn't it be good if God, you know, came back and there you were, you know, trying to trying to do good, like you're saying, just to Just trying to find something that you could do to help the future events. Again, we would love your thoughts.

So the scripture, it is 928, Doc. And like you said, so Christ. In Hebrews 9:28, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many to those who eagerly wait for him. He will appear a second time, apart from sin. for salvation.

In other words, A rescue is coming. Yeah. And in light of that, um Man, that football score isn't quite as important, is it? Yeah. Lots of things are not as important.

When we know that Christ is coming, um You know, I I I think the second coming, there's a component of it that would stare up. At least for me it did. Fear. Jesus is coming soon. Many will meet their doom.

We need to be ready. But the other side is, as a Christian, I find the Second Coming to be one of the Great doctrines that inspires hope. This life is not all that it's going to be. Even the earth itself cries out for the Lord to return. Uh to turn the sin-filled world into um back to what he wanted it to be uh originally.

So, when I think about the second coming, I find I should every day be living with more hope. because I have something that I'm looking forward to, which could be this very day. Absolutely beautiful. We got Buskman in Ohio. He may not be in Ohio today, but I think he is.

So, Buskman, you're on True Talk Live. You know me well, Robin. You never know where busman's going to take the bus mobile.

So I trust you are you in Dayton today? I am actually. Yeah. I'm actually at the bus square.

Okay. At the bus. One few times I have called my favorite talk show, Truth Talk Live, from normally I'm in the bus mobile, out doing some kind of ministry. And that's what comes to my mind, Robbie, is Being today, this hour, while we are on the radio with one another. God was to return.

in in Jesus Christ. I ask myself this. Am I working in what the old King James used to say, the highways and the hedges? Would he find me working? Dr.

Carson, or would he find me being lackadaisical and just maybe drunk with wine, with with whatever that deterrent is? from working in the highways and the hedges. And it's this is great that this is the topic. It's always divine when I listen to Truth Talk Live because it's like, wow, God, you found me again in my personal life. Which makes me just Love his name and worship him even more.

But I was actually helping a couple. That's going through a very, very, very hard. Uh, decision whether to stay married or not.

Now, here's the differentiation, brothers. Please pray for them. Um they are Christians. They both faithfully go to church. And I know both of these people personally got introduced into this couple.

uh earlier this year, and I have been actively involved In their tearing down and rebuilding process of their Christian marriage. And I told both of these folks I said, listen. The outside world is watching YouTube. They see you go in and out of your church building faithfully every Sunday, and they're wondering. You know, is this God thing real?

They're going to watch you and they're going to judge you. and say no he's not if You decide to not implement the things that are written in scripture to heal yourselves. and divorce. And I said, the Lord's name. is on the line here, guys.

And that keeps them very sober when we talk.

So I'm out in the bus glare in the backyard cleaning up because we're going to have a fire tonight to discuss That even more, guys.

So, I could definitely use your prayers even before we go off the air. You don't have to on this call because I'm hoping other people are in the queue wanting to chime in on your topic. Yes. We're we're going there's going to be four chairs. Mister?

Misses mine, and a fourth one, guess who? is the Lord Jesus Christ. Mm-hmm. That will be all around my fire pit, guys.

So they're coming over tonight when they get off work. and we're going to try to heal this marriage in Jesus' name.

Well, let's pray. That's because there unfortunately isn't anybody, but if they want to call in the meantime at 866-348-7884, we would love, love, love to hear your thoughts. Lord, I am so grateful. that these folks have have turned to you and put their feelings on pause to see what you want to do in their merriage, that they would take this time to sit around a fire and try to rekindle Um what it is that they once had.

And so, Lord, I know That you want them to have life and life abundantly. Oh, how fun it is. When you can get over some of those hurdles to have a marriage that lasts, as both Dr. Karsten and I would testify to that. Lord, I pray that you would give Busman wisdom.

I pray that you would. tend to their hearts. Yeah. Just Do what you do, right? Unity is your thing.

You love it. And we know you love them. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen. You're the best, Robbie.

Thank you so much. Dr. Carson, if you and Mrs. Carson could remember. Um I've been working with this dear couple uh Oh, wow, a few months now.

And they really trust me. And I thank you for that prayer, Robbie, because I need to know God's will. And so I'm really feeding on the word right now. in preparation for when they come. And I want to be able to give them notes and things to think about.

And I will definitely keep you posted. On how God is working with this couple. And honestly, if anybody out there is struggling with divorce ideas, Please. Please, please. seek help like this Mr.

and Mrs. has, there's hope. There's hope. I I have to say that broadly. The other day, I was down at the Billy Graham Library.

I go there many times and I take people through there. And again, this time, just listening to Billy Graham, the way they've got it set up so he can share. He talked about marriage And he said there's really three people that need to be in every marriage: the man, the wife. and God. You've got to have God as part of your marriage.

And he did his hand like a triangle. The closer a man will get to God, the closer a wife will get to God, the closer they get to each other. And that personal journey. And so we pray that the husband, but the wife, again, they'll be growing closer to God. they'll be growing closer to each other.

Amen, Dr. Carson. Thank you for that. Wonderful stuff. Wonderful.

Thank you, Bussman. Keep up the great work and we will be praying, I assure you. And I got to tell you, personally, I love the Busclare idea. Yeah. Yeah.

So, Doc. Man, what a great thing to be doing tonight if the Lord happened to come back. Like, you know. Yep. Working with people that are trying to work with God in their marriage because there's tough, man.

It's work. It is work. I talked to another man today, Robbie, and he was telling me about his rescue mission ministry. He said, I'm just trying to live out Matthew 25. And I see people that need clothing and I want to clothe them.

So, Letty, you're. Or is it let all?

Okay. Is it me? Yes, it's you, but I d I'm not sure. It's what now? Clady.

Yeah. I like that. I'm not writing that.

So, Cleady, what have you got for us?

Well Um I was a high school dropout. My husband and I have been married almost forty eight years. But Way back I dropped out of high school. And I grew up with heart trouble and they just sent me to school to socialize me.

So, in about the fourth grade, they took me out of my heart medicine that had me had me sedated. And I couldn't read and write, so I was way behind the eight ball when it comes to reading and writing. But We got married, me and my husband got married and I got my GED. And then I went to community college, and the Lord just kept rising me up and allowed me to go to work for a plant that paid for my education. Um, I ended up going to the NRN.

Really? And God, no bragging on myself. It's all Jesus. But. Um I ended up graduating third in my class with honors.

And So while I was in nursing school, it was something and we worked. We worked in a plant. and we saved every dime from our education. And, um So I always was anxious, and I said, Lord, please, I know I want you to come back. But I really want to be a nurse at least one day.

If you'll just let me be a nurse one day. I know that feeling. Yes. and use my education. And um then when that day came and then the years went by, I was like, Oh, mercy Jesus, I can't believe I was praying for you to put off your coming for this And um, so he changed my perspective.

And, you know, I'm retired now, but um. As far as changing your perspective, Oh. Tonight, I li I live in upstate South Carolina. And my grandson helps direct music at a church. It's called Upstate Church in Simpsonville, South Carolina.

Wow. And they'll have a revival service tonight at 6:30.

So I will be in the presence of the Lord worshiping Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior with my Son. They're with me, my grandson in the choir. And I just couldn't think of a better time for Jesus to come than tonight at 7 o'clock. Isn't that wonderful? I just love that, you know, and I I I think about that same thing, Cleedy, that You know, how could I not want?

Because if he's coming back, it's got to be perfect. Like, he isn't going to pick the wrong time. It's gotta be perfect. And then, like, oh my goodness, I get to see him face to face. Like I it's it's gonna be Beyond, because we've looked through a glass dimly, for all that, you know, and all the things that we get to see in these moments.

Mino, you're right. But I'm like you. You know, there's been a few vacations, fishing trips, etc. Ah. Where Go ahead.

Like you just say, just let me have this fishing trip, just one day of it, Lord. It's going to be so beautiful. Then I want to say heaven. But he's gonna take us on the ultimate fishing trip. It's gonna be in the ri in the river of life.

Like, oh my goodness, what are we thinking? But, you know, it's I'm so with you. And you know what a neat opportunity you have, you know, to worship with your son. And to be at a revival where, like you said, And isn't that neat that that church does that and that they have that going on all week? And all those people are out there, you know, as Bussman was saying, in the hedges and what are the highways and the hedges or however highways and the hedges.

There you go. That's wonderful.

Well, when you get to church tonight, you need to make sure they know that Jesus may come back.

So tonight's the night for salvation because you don't want to miss out.

So we're excited for him to come, but some might end up missing, and we don't want them to miss.

Well, that's the only thing. I have family and friends, and I say, put off your coming, Lord Jesus, because. You know, I still have a burden for for lost people that I love, and that's the only reason I want him to put it off. Give them an extra chance. And that fits with first with 2 Peter 3:9, the Lord is long suffering.

He doesn't want anybody to perish. And that's the message as we look forward to the Lord coming to all of our family and friends and relatives, neighbors. Jesus is holding off right. He wants you to get saved. He loves you so much.

He's patient with you, but he's pleading with you. And today is the day of salvation. And that's a beautiful thing about what Bussman's doing right now, what you did today at lunch. You know, that waitress that you're praying with, or that person you're witnessing to, that's somebody else's child that they've been praying for. Or that's somebody else's sister or friend that they've never been able to get through to, that God's allowing you to take part in.

And so what an opportunity we all have to be part of the body. And that. Revival tonight. You know, somebody invited somebody that's somebody's kid, that's somebody's brother, that's somebody's, and so, you know, let us pray that this revival brings great fruit for you, Cleady.

So, Lord, I thank you for Cleti. I am so grateful for her joy and for her call and her transparency. And I pray that she sees you so clearly today, that she's in your presence. And maybe even that you come. But, Lord, that this revival would bear much fruit, that you would be present, that people would be convicted, and those who don't know you would come to know you in such a joyous way in such a joyous community, that clearly would have dear friends in Clety and her son.

Again, I thank you to chance to pray for her. In Jesus' name, I pray. Thank you, Clee.

Well, can I say I have another comment? You can.

Okay, well, me and my husband, I was 15 when I got married. I know that's kind of taboo nowadays, but anyway. Um so Um We've been married a long time and very happily married. And so Women over the years have asked me the secret to our happiness. And I start off with talking about the wide submission.

Now, I'm still darts coming my way already. But Anyway.

So I speak to them about Christ's love and your husband's love and why they said submit To big issues that come up. If you have a job change, somebody's got to decide, somebody's got to get in. And um I always say to women who asked me the secret of my my happy marriage. Um is I say to them You know. Yes.

Tonight a robber breaks in. And Um Who is going to get up out of that bed? Your husband is going to get up. My husband is going to get up. And he's going to tell me to stay there and he's going to protect me with his love.

And he was willing to go and give his life for me. And for that alone, I owe him the love and respect The same.

Okay. Um As Christ loved the church, you love me. And I will. You know. As long as you're not asking me to do something immoral or illegal.

I'm willing to say, okay, Jesus. I'm holding on for the ride. And so, can I say a quick prayer for this couple? Because my ministry is. Oh, yes, please, please.

Dear Lord Jesus, I lift up this couple and this man, this previous caller, and I plead your blood over the conversations that are going to be had. And I ask you to draw them close to one another and help this wife and husband to see their value in each other and just. Let this marriage glorify you, and we ask in your holy and precious name. Amen, Jesus Christ. Amen.

That's absolutely wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. You know, I got to tell you. That that should be an encouragement for a lot of people out there that, wow, you know, like you said.

Somebody's willing to lay down their life for you. Um and and the neat thing is is I know my wife would lay down her life for me just as as as much. And I know Denita would for Dr. Carson as well. And there it goes.

Like that's laying down your life has everything to do with saving your marriage. Yep. Taking up your cross, as the case may be, is a beautiful thing.

Well, you have been a delight, Cledia. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your call. You have an amazing revival tonight. And, you know, sometime you ought to call us, let us know how it went, okay? Okie dokie.

And what a prayer transparency, Rob. Yeah, transparency. Yeah, there are things we put on a calendar. I'm looking forward to a granddaughter being born in December. But there's something still better than a granddaughter being born in December.

If the Lord comes back, we have the glories of heaven. We can't comprehend it with our human mind right now. But if Jesus comes back right now, you won't be in heaven going, I feel like I'm missing out. You won't be missing out on anything. I can assure you, you won't be going, man.

Isn't that crazy that but that's the way your mind works. But man, I you know you're I don't want the Lord to come back till the Dolphins win another Super Bowl.

Well, no. No, no, I can't. No, we're not going to wait that long. No, but it's it's really a beautiful thought that you brought today, Doc. I gotta tell you.

And and and really I hope Um That a lot of folks A lot of pastors may be listening will take you up on the idea. This is something we need to teach. The anticipation of Christ's return. He taught so much on it, right? The 10 virgins.

There's so many different stories he said. Like, wait, you know, this, this, you know, you need to be found faithful in that moment. And so this is a critical understanding. And I love the way you allow the calendar to remind us of these things. And so, again, if you're not familiar with who Dr.
