America is deeply divided, but what happens when those divisions collide with serious security threats and a growing crisis of trust? On this episode of Truth Talk Live, Peter Rosenberger examines whether a divided nation can still respond effectively to external threats and asks what genuine reconciliation would require. Drawing from Scripture, including Proverbs 28:13 and Proverbs 18:17, Peter explores the importance of truth, confession, accountability, changed conduct, and examining evidence before moving forward. The conversation also turns to the role of Christians in public life, biblical literacy, and a challenge for listeners to read through the book of Proverbs one chapter each day for the 31 days of October.

This is the Truth Network. Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk. A daily program powered by the Truth Network. This is kind of a great thing.

I'll tell you what: where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. Welcome to Truth Talk Live. This is Peter Rosenberg.

Glad to be with you today. If you want to be a part of the program, eight six six three. Four eight seventy eight eighty four. That's eight six six, thirty four. Truth.

Do you think the country's divided? I mean, we're just at odds with one another. I mean, not like just a small portion. I mean, we're divided down the middle. Does it does it appear that way to you?

And if that's the case, and let's. Just say for a moment that it is, because all the polls, as we go into election season and everything else, you see this enormous amount of rancor. Of course, it's hard to believe the media anymore. But let's just say that from what we're seeing, that the country is divided on a lot of issues that are core issues to to a nation.

Okay.

Now, my question to you is. Is that a problem? Can we still just okay? We're divided.

Okay.

Well, we just got to deal with it. Or are there threats that are approaching, encroaching on the horizon or on our doorstep that require us to deal with them as a united country? But we're not.

Now here's what. Brought this to mind today. We're following the reports of this incident in the cockpit of the fly Dubai flight that's headed from Dubai to Tel Aviv, and you may have heard all this in breaking news. And according to the Israeli officials, one pilot, the the co-pilot, stabbed the other, and apparently attempted to crash the plane. That was the goal.

And the passengers and crew intervened. The guy was stabbed, and evidently the the captain of the plane had the presence of mind to open the door, and evidently yell for help or something. And people rushed the cockpit, which in itself is an insanely crazy moment. And and then they were able to subdue this guy. I don't know exactly how they landed the plane because I think the pilots in pretty bad shape.

Both the pilot and the the co pilot are of Indian origin. That's all we know so far. Motive still under investigation, and we don't know exactly what's going on with anything. I mean, I will have some information, I am sure, within the next few hours. But then t here is Britain, and you had five British men.

Were arrested near the RAF Fairford, and it's an airbase that is used by Americans. and And they t here is some real sketchy things going, and they release these guys on on bail. They're out now. That's on top of a lot of things that Israel and has been having to face on a regular basis. That's going on, and then the UK is facing this with.

The international community, particularly in the Muslim world, and yeah, they're separate events, and there's—I don't know that they're even connected. But they have a common concern that comes into focus, which is security. And while we're still arguing among ourselves as a nation, and we've got half the country—if you even mention the word Trump—they become enraged. Or so it seems. And and there are still dangers out there.

There there are people who really want to harm this nation, and they're not waiting for us to settle our political disagreements. It's kind of interesting though that Iran is tempering their death to America.

Well, we didn't mean death to all Americans, just death to these Americans. You know, when somebody says death to America, do you believe them? I mean, do you do you take them at their word that that's what they mean, and they're basically wanting to the Democrats to to win the election, the midterms, and and so this is what's going on.

So how do we face those dangers together when so many Americans no longer trust their leaders, or one another, or the media? And and and I'm going to ask you: Do you trust the media? Do you would you turn on the news? Whether it's MSNBC or whatever they're called now, CBS Face the Nation, NBC, ABC News, CNN, or Fox News.

However, you get your news, do you trust them? Are there news outlets that you don't trust? And why not? And what what do we do about that? Is that a problem?

Is that something we need to to deal with? Because there are real dangers out there, and if we are a house divided, and and what does Scripture say about a house divided? It can't stand. And if we are, then what do we do? We keep hearing, you know, we need unity, we need healing, we need to move forward.

All right, well, what would that actually require for us to go through that as a nation? Israel may be an interesting model for this. Inside the nation of Israel, there is, there's quite a few, there's a lot of factions. And you've got people all over the theological map, and you've got people all over the political map inside the nation. But they are united on one thing: that there are a lot of nations around them that want to wipe them off the face of the earth, and so their national security is absolutely paramount.

And they put aside their differences. There are a lot of people in Israel don't particularly care for Netanyahu. But he's been the longest-serving prime minister that nation's ever had. And as he got up in front of the United Nations, he said, "You know, last week he said, 'We we do this because we have no other choice. If we don't, we'll be annihilated.' The old saying was, he said, 'If if Hamas lays down their weapons, we'll have peace.

If Israel lays down.'" Our weapons. There will be no more Israel. That's that's a quote. I think he said. I think I got that right.

So there's there's a clarity of thought of how dangerous it is. Do we have that as as the United States of America? Do we have that clarity of thought?

Now let's think about a marriage. Suppose your spouse has betrayed you. Maybe there was an affair. Maybe there was secret debts. Whatever happened, it shook the foundation of your relationship.

Then your spouse says, "We need to stop fighting and move forward." Well, how would you respond to that? Maybe you've been in that situation. I want us to move forward, but first we need to do what? You need to tell me what happened, and you need the whole truth. In a courtroom, when somebody pleads guilty, they have to allocute to what they did.

The Westminster Confession of Faith is: you have your particular sins, particularly. You, you, there has to be disclosure of what has happened, because if every new piece of evidence produces another little admission, you never quite know whether you've reached the bottom of this. I mean, that's just human nature. And you begin to wonder if the person regrets the betrayal, or they regret being caught. Proverbs twenty eight thirteen says, "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper, but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them, shall have mercy." Notice both actions here: confessing and forsaking.

An acknowledgment really does matter, doesn't it? But there also needs to be a change.

Now think about this: if you had a business partner, you discover that money is missing. Your partner says, "We've known each other for twenty years. Don't you trust me?" Well, those twenty years are part of why this hurts. And you got to examine the accounts. You need to establish what happened.

And there may need to be restitution, and you may need to have safeguards so the business can continue without repeating the same failure. Or that may mean that you bring in independent oversight, or it may mean changing who controls the money. You could forgive someone and still require accountability, and you could seek reconciliation. Without immediately restoring that person to every responsibility they held before, that's just human nature. You've been there, you've been there.

But what about as a nation when we've had these things? How do we adapt to that on a national level? Because there are real security threats out there, and we're a divided nation. Eight six six. Thirty-four truth, eight six six three four eight seventy-eight eighty-four.

We'll be right. You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. This is Peter Rose. I'd be glad to be with you eight six six three four truth eight six six three four eight seventy eight eighty four.

In the wake of several of these very serious security breaches, just in the last few days, and one of them just in the last few hours, I keep coming back to this issue. America is divided. Is that a fair statement? If if so, then with your permission, I'd like to move to the next statement. What do we do about it?

Can we still function as a nation with these levels of severe divisions? I'm not talking about disagreement over policy. We have serious breaches of trust. Is that a fair statement to say? For example, how many times did you see?

White House officials, Secretary of Homeland Security Mayorkas, so forth, before Congress, before the press, talk about how secure the border was during the Biden administration. Was it? Was the border secure? Do you feel that it was? Do you did you see evidence that it was?

Were you convinced that it was? Is there objective evidence to say to you that during the Biden administration the border was secure? And we didn't have an influx of millions of people coming in here who were unvetted, many of them who wish to do harm to this country. But we have no way of knowing. Is that a fair statement?

Because if it is, if that's the case, which it appears by all the evidence there, then we have government officials and media officials that purposely, knowingly deceived us, or tried to.

Now, what do you do with that information? And you have to ask, okay, number one, why were they doing it? Was this incompetence or was this by design? These are very good questions, and we have to ask them. And and we we can disagree on policy.

We can disagree on. How to balance the budget? We can disagree with how to spend the money of the treasury. We can disagree on all kinds of things, but can we disagree on those kind of fundamental principles? On whether or not we have a secure border, and if it's not, we have people saying that it is.

How do we reconcile that, and then defend a nation against people who are plotting day in and day out, wanting to hurt this country? How do we do that? Then you know, and I left you with the question: Can you apply these same questions if trust has been broken in a marriage or to business relationship or family relationship, friendship, whatever? You there is a path towards reconciliation. It may not be possible, but there's a path, and here's what has to happen, if possible.

But can we apply those same principles to a nation? Is that possible? I mean, at first blush, I think we can, but it's going to be pretty complicated. Millions of people have different kinds of experiences, different convictions, and and different understandings of what happened.

So, so we we we don't need everybody to agree about everything, but surely we have some common standards. Tell the truth, examine the evidence, acknowledge failures, correct the record, establish safeguards.

Okay, those are common things. You know, the military has a policy when something happens. There's an after-action, and a lot of businesses do this too. That that you get together and you look.

Okay, what happened? How we get here? If somebody stepped on a landmine, well, they're going to go and say, Okay, what happened? How do we get to this point? How do we avoid stepping on any landmines in the future?

Do we do that as a country? I hear a lot of politicians say, "Well, we don't need to look backwards." I saw Hillary Clinton in front of the Congress saying, "What difference does it matter now? After those people were killed over in Benghazi, does it matter? What difference does it matter now?" I don't. I don't see any situation that if you've, you know, committed a crime.

That you go before the judge and say, "Well, what difference does it matter now that the judge would look at that as favorable?" And yet, in the political world, that's allowed. I'm not saying she committed crime. I'm not saying she didn't. I'm just simply saying that particular line of reasoning is a bit hard to digest, wouldn't you say? And so, if we have these deep divides.

What would somebody on the other side of the the issue have to do for you to begin trust them again? Say, for example, this thing with Mayorkas getting up there and saying that the border was secure under oath in front of Congress, and they're repeatedly saying this on the news and so forth. Is that a problem for you and? What would are you ever going to trust him again? And if not, why not?

And if so, why? And what would that look like? Eight six six three four truth eight six six three four eight seventy eight eighty four. And I'm asking for something concrete. Would you actually recognize something that was a real step forward in reconciliation?

Because if our answer is nothing, there's absolutely nothing they can do. That we need to acknowledge what we're saying. We're saying that reconciliation is impossible, even if someone tells the truth. Except we're they they accept the responsibility. They change.

We're saying that it's impossible.

Now that's um, those are serious things for a nation. Those are serious things for a marriage. Those are serious things for anything. But when we have national security threats like we do in this country. Seems like we got to have this conversation, and we don't have to accept an empty apology.

One of the things I hate is when people apologize.

Well, I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, or I'm sorry if my my words were misconstrued. That is not an apology. That's a spin, and and we we need to think. Very carefully, whether there is any room left for real repentance, and and what does that look like?

Well, he's turning from it. Looks come out and say, "Look, we got it wrong. We did something wrong." Now, in an age where you know risk aversion is everything, I don't know that that's going to happen. I mean, I remember seeing. You know, lots of news reports about how everything was secure at the border, and they just went on and on.

There's nothing going on down there. There's nothing to see, and there was a conflicting news report. You just change the channel, and there's video of people coming through in hordes.

Now, who's telling the truth? And. Is this something that we can reconcile? Is this something we can do as a nation? We can come together, and if so, what would it take for you?

Would it take Mayorkas saying something? Would it take charges being brought against somebody? Would it take? What would it take to reconcile? To have that happen?

Maybe you've had to be in a situation where you've been reconciled. To someone who violated your trust, maybe you're the one that violated the trust, and what did it take for you to earn it back? How did you do that? And is that possible to take those same principles, those same principles, and apply them to a nation? May not be very easy.

But is it possible? And then, I think underneath all that is the the question of what is our what is our role as believers here? How do we how do we function in a in a in a very very divided nation? Remember what Paul said in Romans: "If it's as much as it is possible to you, live peacefully with one another." But how do you live peacefully with someone who is determined to cause you harm? How do you live peacefully with somebody who wants to teach children about trans stuff, or worse yet, have children explore transitioning sexual identities without the knowledge of their parents?

How do you live peacefully with that? Can you? These these this is where we are as a nation. And we've got people saying that men are women and women are men, and a sitting Supreme Court justice who refused to even answer the question. I mean, how do we reconcile this?

How do we build unity to defend a nation? Eight six six thirty four truth eight six six three four eight seventy eight eighty four. We'll be right back. Truth Talk Live. You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com.

Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. This is Peter Rosenberg. Glad to be with you. Eight six six thirty four Truth. Eight six six three four eight seventy eight eighty four.

Eight six six thirty four Truth. And before we get back into this, I want to also let you know at my Substack caregiver dot substack dot com. Caregiver. Substack. Com.

There's a new posting out I put out about. It's it's a really powerful moment that happened in our caregiver support group that I lead out here in our community in Montana, and and I, this guy said this dealing with his wife who had Alzheimer's, and it goes back to this thing of sometimes you can't reconcile because when you have somebody who is separated by a disease like Alzheimer's. You're gonna. It's gonna be one-sided, and this man gave such a beautiful testimony of what he did in that one-sided moment. And I thought you might want to read that if, if you get a chance.

That's a free article put out there, caregiver. dot substack. dot com. And Substack is just an online newsletter. It's got video, print, audio.

All kinds of things, and it'll push right to your phone. You just download the app if you want it, or you just go online and look at it. But I thought it might be meaningful to someone today who is dealing with something like that to see.

Okay, here's what this man said and what he learned through this process. And I thought you might enjoy reading that.

So caregiver.substack.com. We're talking about the real threats that are facing this country, and that we are a divided country. And is reconciliation possible? Are the principles that help reconcile a marriage or a breach of trust in any kind of relationship, business, personal, whatever, are those available to a nation? I mean, I think we can all agree that the nation's pretty divided.

You know, in the old days, I remember when I would go out and speak, and I do a pretty good Bill Clinton imitation. You know, listen, the American people know, you know, and I can do a pretty good Bill Clinton imitation impression, and people would laugh from all walks of life because it was pretty spot on, and I have white hair, and you know, I can make it work in a Southern accent, and I can do impressions of all kinds of different folks. I mean, you know, Stallone, you know, Roddy Dangerfield, whatever. I can do. I do a lot of them, Foghorn Leghorn, but if and I can do Trump.

And if I met, if I was speaking, someplace, and I just did a Trump impression, immediately I start hearing boos from the audience. And I was just doing an impression. I'm not saying you have to agree with Trump or like him. I'm just doing an impression, and they immediately start booing.

So we we have a very easily triggered. Populists now, where people are are very, very unsettled, and and I think that most people, given the polls of of the media and the credibility of the media, feel like the media has been at the crux of a lot of these things because they've been caught promulgating a lot of lies. Let's talk about one. How many times did Americans receive assurance about Joe Biden's ability to serve? How about that?

Think about all the news people that said these things, and said, "Okay, yeah, he's sharp as a tack." Proverbs eleven one says, "A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight." Don't try to mislead your customers. Basically, that that verse concerns you know measurements in commerce. But consider the principle as we examine public conduct that's been going on out there. Is there an honest measure? Does a misleading statement trouble me equally when it comes from somebody I supported?

You know, I don't particularly want people to get out there and just rah rah ree, you know, for Trump just because they happen to support him. Let's examine what he's saying, what he's doing. Has he measured up? What's his great? Let's be honest about it.

And you know, I, I'm not all that excited about the golden age of America. I'm more concerned that we're going to be worshiping a golden calf. And scriptures are final authority as believers, and this is what separates us from the normal rancor that's going on in our in our public square. Is that we need to bring the awareness of Scripture into these conversations. And if I demand transparency from one party, am I willing to demand it from my own?

Because if I if I change the standard depending on who benefits, then I've become part of the problem. And so, we we we've got to look at these things in the light of Scripture. Proverbs eighteen seventeen: The one who states his case first seems right until the other comes and examines him, cross-examining in a courtroom.

Well, that that's a pretty remarkable verse for a country. Addicted to headlines and clips and sound bites and accusations. The first may sound convincing, but then let's examine it. What's missing? What evidence supports it?

Listen to the response. Follow up questions. And I see, if I watch the news. I see friendly interviewers interviewing people they support, they they agree with, and I see them nodding. I don't see a lot of back and forth, challenging to explain it, unpack that.

What is that going to look like? When you when you hear AOC, for example, spout out Medicare for all, she talks about that a lot, or Bernie Sanders. We're going to go after the billionaires. I told you I do impressions, but. Who comes behind them after they say that and say, "Okay, walk me through this.

How are we going to pay for it? What's this going to look like? What could possibly go wrong?" We talked about that last week. What could possibly go wrong? Ask the question, but see, we don't do that, and we just replace one misleading narrative with another one.

And you say, "All right, Peter, we've heard enough. Why can't everybody admit what happened so we can move forward?" Well, sometimes people do genuinely disagree about the evidence, and they make a judgment on this or that or whatever. And sometimes acknowledging the truth threatens their reputation, or or their way of life, or or their salary. And that's where reconciliation becomes costly. An apology may cost you something.

Correcting the record may cost you something. Telling the truth about your own side may cost you something. But concealing a failure costs the people who must live with its consequences. I remember the press secretary under Joe Biden saying that he's just running circles around everybody. Oh, he's sharp as a tack," Joe Scarborough said, and they're just oh, we have to work to keep up with him.

Do you believe that? Was she lying? If so, what are the consequences? Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, Proverbs twenty-eight thirteen, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. You acknowledge it, and there is a change.

That's why we can't say, "Well, what difference does it matter now?" Like Hillary Clinton said in front of Congress, it does matter. It does make a difference. There are people that are dead.

Well, let's move on. Move on to what? The same procedures, the same assurances. The same refusal to answer reasonable questions. You know, in a marriage, changed conduct helps establish whether the apology was even sincere.

What good is it to apologize if you're going to keep doing the same thing? What did Reagan say? Trust but verify. Restitution can begin repairing the loss, but how does that work for the nation? You know, public institutions need comparable forms of accountability.

Are they, or do you feel like that we are accountable to public institutions? Let me give you an example. How many of you all have filled out a government form in the last three months? Any kind of form, whether it's Medicare, or Medicaid, or Social Security, or anything else, and there's always a line on all these federal forms that said providing false information to the federal government is punishable under federal law, or something to that effect. You've seen that, right?

What if the federal government is providing false information to the people? Do you think they have eight six six thirty four truth eight six six three four eight seventy eight eighty four? And here's a here's a here's something you might want to consider. If you want to reform them, are we willing to accept the safeguards that we want to impose on someone else? On ourselves.

That's why we're probably never going to get term limits. We'd love to have term limits for these people, but how are they going to do that? Do you really think they're ever going to do it? I mean, evidently, when I saw this thing with Mitch McConnell, and you know, the U.S. Senate is the most expensive nursing home in the world.

I mean, it's just ridiculous. This guy, I mean, you know. He's hanging on to the. You know? Do you know why he's still in office?

Do you know why? I'm going to tell you why. And you may disagree with. People may get mad and write all kinds of letters. Just send it to Peter at the Internet dot Google.

But I think it's a little bit underhanded because I don't. He does not appear to be very very well. He could hardly function. And we had the same thing with with Diane Feinstein. But when you have a Democrat governor of a state, and a Republican senator steps down, guess who appoints the new senator?

The Democrat governor.

So if Mitch McConnell stepped down, Andy Beshear's is the governor of Kentucky, and he would appoint a Democrat senator, and change the balance of power.

So they basically got their wheeling poor old Mitch McConnell in a iron lung into the. I mean, look at he looks decrepit. They did the same thing with Dianne Feinstein. They might as well just be holding their hands up and and scrawling out their names for him. But this is what's going on, and it's not going to change unless something drastic happens, and that's what I'm asking you.

If it can, Buckman. In in Ohio, Buckspin, you want to weigh in on this? Hey, oh, Peter, you're a man after my own heart. Trying to find the ins and outs of of our federal government, our state government, our local government. I'm so glad that you're talking about this.

Here's what's going on in Ohio, Peter. We've got an initiative to take to the Ohio voters: property tax. It's kind of a husband. I didn't look at the clock. Can you hold on through the break?

I sure can. All right, hold on. We're going to take a quick break. We're talking about reconciliation. We are a divided nation.

We got a lot of problems. We got a lot of external problems, and we got some probably internal security problems too. What are we going to do about it? Eight six six thirty four. Truth.

We'll be right back. Truth talk, Clyde. You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. This is Peter Rosenberg eight six six three four Truth eight six six three four eight seventy eight eighty four.

We're talking about. Real security threats we're seeing playing out in real time right now, today, even on the news. We're seeing these things happening, and our country is divided. A house divided against itself can't stand.

So, what does that look like? How do we how do we function like this? Can we reconcile? What would need to happen for us to reconcile? Buxman is going to tell us what's going on in Ohio where he is.

Buxman, what were you saying there before we went to the break? Sure. Thanks again, Peter, for this topic. and And I think Christians need to start, you know, "quote unquote" getting political because there's a lot of smart people in our churches today, Peter, that could solve some problems. But if they do not get involved culturally and in the politics, those problems will not get solved.

Here in Ohio, brother, how how would you like to you and your wife pay for your house, pay for your property? You're wonderfully sitting with no more. Mortgage payment, and then the government comes along and says, "You forgot us. You owe us property tax." And here in Ohio, Peter, we're standing up against this and saying, "Look, especially for our seniors who are on fixed incomes, our veterans. We're wondering why our government will not reconcile and say, 'Hey, we need to make it a little bit easier on, especially our retired folks.'" Not charge them for living on the property that they paid for, and here in Ohio we have an initiative, and we're we're gathering signatures.

So I I I completely understand what you're talking about, and I want to read something to you, Peter. That a lot of Ohioans don't know, but in the state of Ohio, our our Ohio Supreme Court. Had a case called Deroth versus State, and in this court ruling, they ruled that the payment of schools are not to fall on the backs of property owners. I kid you not, Deroth versus State. No.

True Talk family, I am not an attorney, but I'm a very smart man who loves his grandparents and doesn't want them taxed out of their paid for. They worked so hard all their lives to pay for their home, home, and Peter, we've we've done everything that we could with our legislature here in Ohio. And the the candidates are both saying both Ramaswamy and Acton are both saying we will reduce the property taxes. We'll we'll reduce it.

Well, that amounts to really nothing. They've passed bills in our past that have really done nothing, especially for our senior class and our retired folks.

So, can I give a thought to your question? Bucks, but let me throw a question to you. When these guys say we will reduce the property taxes, to me, if I heard somebody say that, I would immediately ask them why. Because I don't want to hear a promise; I want to hear a rationale. Because now we're educating people.

Why should we reduce the property taxes? You just made the case for it, by the way, but but I want I want them to make the case on why we should reduce the property taxes. That's that's been a scam for a very long time, along with the income tax. Thank you, Peter. But that's that's another problem with the income tax.

They said it would never get above what one percent. How did that work out?

So so I think you know, Rush Limbaugh used to say, "Ignorance is our most expensive commodity." Amen, Peter. And we have got to start educating people. And the way you educate people is you ask better questions.

So, somebody said, "Well, I think we need to reduce the the property tax." Okay, tell me why you think that. What is your rationale? I am not disagreeing. I am simply asking you to explain to the average person why that's important. And you just did because you are financing public schools on the back of.

People who have already paid vast amounts of money into the systems, whose children have not benefited from this, have families of their own, right? And we also know how good a steward our public schools are with our money, right? Your your laughter betrays you. But I mean, you know, it's it's not like these people are actually doing something, you know. Positive with the money there that they they're they're squandering on on these crazy things.

So, at the least, whoever is footing the bill for the public schools ought to have the most say so in what happens with the curriculum. Right, and that's not happening either. No, it's not, sir. But I think you're right. We we've got to get involved, and we have to get involved from a biblical world view.

That's the key, but in order to do that, Buxman, we got to know our Bibles, and it always comes down to. I believe this, and you, you, you test me and see if I'm wrong on this, but I believe in my heart of hearts that the issue always comes down to biblical illiteracy. One hundred percent, Peter Rosenmuth. One hundred percent, and if we don't know it. How we we just say, well, I think we ought to do this and this and this.

Well, it doesn't matter what I think. What does Scripture say? What happens when this kind of thing happened? When you have people, when the wicked rule, the people do what? They groan.

They groan. And do we have groaning people in our country? Even the Christians, Peter, are groaning.

So what does that tell you, brother?

Well, and and so we're living under this situation, and Paul says, if possible, live peacefully.

Well, what if it's not possible? I mean, how do you shake hands with people who want to harm you? Correct, sir. And and so these are these are hard questions, but we need to ask them because we've we've somehow gotten into this touchy feely. Thing of of this and well you know and and and we can't define what a woman is we can't define that a woman is criminally liable liable if she kills her three children we can't you know what what where are we as a nation and how do we reconcile this and while we're distracted with all these crazy things there are people that wake up every single day wanting to kill this country and destroy it they do and and there's and there's there's evil that just doesn't sleep.

And you know, it just doesn't sleep. And so, what are we going to do? And so, I go back to what you just said: we've got to get involved, but we got to get involved not just like these actors and actresses do that get out there and just rail about stuff, but we got to bring some real education to this process and instruct people and instruct people. And it starts with knowing your scriptures. And I would, if I may.

You may, yeah. If I made the book of Proverbs, Peter, there thirty-one awesome chapters of nothing but wisdom that even unbelieving people could use, and it would benefit them and their society if they would just employ those fantastic words that were written in our scriptures that we carry to church every Sunday. But we never open up the book; therefore, we don't know what the book says. Therefore, we cannot do what the book says we can do. I tell you what; let's do this right now on this program.

Today is September 30, so that means tomorrow is October 1. There's 31 proverbs. How about if everybody listening in this audience reads the corresponding proverb for that day of the month for the next 31 days? I'm all in, Peter. And and so tomorrow, Proverbs one.

Next day, Proverbs two. It is the book of Proverbs is God's MBA. If you want to get God's MBA, read the book of Proverbs. You will understand commerce. You will understand dynamics of human relationship, business, government, all kinds of policies.

It's all there. Buckman's absolutely right. It is God's MBA.

So starting tomorrow. Proverbs one, and then next Wednesday we'll talk about whatever day of the week is next Wednesday. I think it's it's going to be the seventh, so we should all be on Proverbs seven. I may even read it on the air. And so, how about we do that and we start learning what God has to say because commerce and capitalism.

Nobody invented capitalism, by the way. It's an organic thing that says, "Hey." You've got something I think is valuable. I'll give you some of this for it. Nobody invented that. That's just that's just human interaction, and it becomes capitalism, becomes commerce.

Socialism and communism had to be invented as a way of controlling people. That's I mean that's basically the nutshell. Did I get that right, Buxman? Absolutely, you're hired, Peter. I want you working at my school.

Well, I'll fit it in with all my other things. Listen, I appreciate the call, Buxton. I really do. And we're gonna all right. Proverbs one starting tomorrow.

Let's go. All right, and we'll learn it together. Thank you for the call, Buxton. I do appreciate it. And stay involved there in Ohio.

Okay.

Will do, brother. Will do. All right. Ohio tax axo h t a x dot com. If you would like information about the movement here in Ohio abolishing property tax axo h t a x dot com.

That's a that's go check it out and see what he's talking about there with property tax and let's get informed. An informed electorate is a powerful electorate. And and we've got to get informed. We've got to learn these things. We've got to get involved.

Otherwise, you know, when when we're behind the barbed wire in the concentration camps, we can all sit around and commiserate because that's what happens. We can't just sit around and and beat our chest and think, "So well, we're Americans." It's not going to happen. It's already happening. Look at what's happening.

So, Buckman, thank you so much for the call. I do appreciate it. Look. We've got serious problems in this country. We are divided, and I.

It is my contention. I don't think so. I don't think it's going to happen. That the people who have been misleading on a national level are going to come and somehow make some kind of mea culpa and say I was wrong. I don't see.

Anybody from the Biden family coming out and saying, "Yeah, we're sorry, we got that wrong. Joe was really not competent to do this, but we didn't want to leave power, and so we we that's on us. We're sorry." Do you think that's going to happen? Do you think Mayorkas is going to come back and say, "You know what? That border never was secure.

We were not telling the truth." So we've got to somehow figure out how to run this nation. Knowing that we're going to have these kinds of breaches of trust, and I think let's go back to the Word of God. Let's take that Proverbs chapter. Why not? And let's talk about this next week and throughout the week, throughout the month, and we'll see what happens.

Okay.

This is Peter Rosenberg. Go out to caregiver dot substack dot com, and we'll see you next week.
