This is the Truth Network. Nakita, destroy, crash, demolish all competitions. Does he want it? Here it is. Yeah, Mr.
Koloff once again made his feelings very, very apparent. It's been a long time, but the wave is over. That's a bad man. No, that's a bad man. No, that's a bad man.
It's time to man up with Satan's nightmare, Nakia Koloff. Good.
Well, the hottest topic, or at least one of the hottest topics in, I'd just say in America today, is health. And Wellness, and with me today, I'm excited to talk to Matt Hitch. Matt, welcome to It's Time to Man Up. Thank you, Nikita. Thanks for having me.
Glad to be here.
Well, and of course, you and I are no strangers. We have some history behind us now, and as we continue to move forward, you are on a brand new health journey. We're going to talk more about that. But before we get. There, um And you're no s really no stranger to the show uh either.
But we we have a number of things in common, uh one of which is uh our our camp that uh Lex Luger and I do, the Man Camp. that you are now an integral part of that camp. You come down and you come down on staff, volunteer your time on staff. You head up the worship that we do at camp. Was that let me ask, was that a new experience for you when we asked you to do that?
So kind of. I had a little bit of experience in a kids' ministry at the time doing worship kind of sort of the same way. But in that environment, it was a whole new thing. And when y'all asked me to do it, I was like, okay, let's go. I'll learn along the way, right?
That's right. Come on. And well, and of course you're down in the great state of Georgia, the the Peach State, right? Yeah, third. I've never figured out.
Like there's a big, gigantic peach down there like near Gaffney, North Carolina, I think. Or no, maybe it's in South Carolina. But and from what I understand, South Carolina actually produces more peaches than than Georgia. They sure do. In my opinion, Georgia should be called the Peanut State.
That's just me. Ah, there you go. A giant peanut water tower. Yeah, there we go. But but so so I I of course you may not know the answer to this, but If South Carolina produces more pizza, how did Georgia become known as the Peach State?
Any idea? I have no idea, but I tell you what, I will research that and get back to you.
Somebody's out there Googling it right now. They sure are. And they're going to send me an email and go, here's the history on the Pete State.
So are you born and you're born and raised in Georgia? Yes, sir, born and raised Douglasville, Georgia, which is right right SmackDown, about halfway between Atlanta and Alabama. halfway between Alabama and Atlanta, And so are you torn between are you a football fan? Are you torn between like I know some people get real serious about their football uh in Georgia and Who who do you root for, out of curiosity? If if I was going to pick a college team, it would be the Dogs, but I I watch more Pro Ball.
I'm I'm a Green Bay Packers guy myself. And for those who don't know, he's referring to the Georgia Bulldogs when he says the Dogs. And I know quite a rivalry between the Crimson Tide of Alabama and the Georgia Bulldogs over the years. Oh yeah. That that's a big one, especially at our church when our senior pastor is a big Bama fan and others are big Bulldog fans.
We we have fun come college football time. I bet I bet you do.
So I gotta ask, out of curiosity, how does a Georgia boy southern bred and born and bred become a Green Bay Packer fan?
So for me, it's the history of the franchise, and they're just so different. I actually majored in history in college. I've always been a student of history and very interested in it. And you know, for me, one of the most storied franchises in the entire NFL. And it's just always fascinated me that you know the the people own the team and Green Bay is really in the middle of nowhere and they still have this open air Field.
That they still play into this day there at Lambo. And it's just, it's fascinated me ever since I. first started. uh learning about legendary Lambeau Field. Yeah, and uh with a legendary coach.
Yes, indeed. Vince Lombardy. Of course, we talk about Vince Lombardi at Man Camp. uh from time to time. Uh uh and for those who don't know, Vince Lombardi, who the Super Bowl trophy is named after, the Lombardi Trophy.
who won the first uh who had won many NFL championships, even Even pre-Super Bowl, right? And then won some of the first Super Bowls. But all that said, he was a stickler on time, and he'd always say, if you're five minutes early, You're ten minutes late. And Matt, you know, I've been to Green Bay many times and still in some of the restaurants they have clocks on the wall that literally say Lombardy time on the clock. I love that.
Yeah. And And of course, we've implemented that in our camps, our man camp, and encouraging men not to be late. If anything, be early, right? And you may or may not know. I don't know if I've ever told you this, but I had an opportunity.
A friend of mine who had gotten involved in health and wellness, nutrition health and wellness a number of years ago, would fly me into Green Bay. I was working with him on his personal health. I was like a personal health coach at the time. And that parlayed into a business that he and I worked together. But he was good friends with the head coach.
trainer of the Green Bay Packers. Oh, wow. Yeah. And so I actually got to go to a few fundraisers there at the stadium. Meet some of the famous Green Bay Packer players and And I got the chance to get a private tour of the entire stadium.
Oh, man. Which is cool. Yeah, which it was. It was like, wow, I was like, from their eating hall to their weight room training facility. I mean, it was state of the art.
It was amazing. And then if that's not enough. He ends up treating me and several of my friends flew in from Charlotte to a Green Bay Packer game against a ball team, the Carolina Panthers. Ha ha ha ha ha. And man, Matt, I got to tell you, well, first of all, the Green Bay fans are some of the best.
Some of the best of the best of the best. Like, we're walking around, like, we, you know, we had our Panther jerseys and hats and everything. Man, they were the nicest fans. Like, hey, come over here, have some Bratwurst, man. Come and have a hot dog.
I mean, you know, they were just, they didn't care. They didn't care that we were, you know, the opposition, right? Uh and then I'll I'll never forget Man, it was the first quarter, and Aaron Rodgers was the quarterback, and he just lit it up. I mean, it was like 28 to nothing at the end of the first quarter. I remember that game.
Yeah, and the Packer fans behind us were so they're like, We're so sorry your team's not doing it. And they were sincere, though. They were like, We're so sorry your team's not doing it. Maybe they'll do better in the second half, second quarter. I looked at them, I go, Hey.
I'm in legendary Lambeau Field. Are you kidding me? I could care less how good or bad the Panthers are doing today. I'm at the historical Lambeau Field. And you know, you mentioned something that our listeners may not know out there: that they are the only.
team in the NFL that doesn't have just an owner. Like, you know, like Art Rooney owned the Pittsburgh Steelers, right? Or you kind of go down the list to Jerry Jones, right? The Dallas Cowboys. But.
The Green Bay Packers have been owned by the the townspeople Like forever. Mm-hmm.
Now, do you have so do you have a a share of the Green Bay Packers, Matt? No, that would be one of those kind of bucket list dreams that maybe it'll happen, but if not, it's okay. But that would be really cool.
So, my friend Jerry, he's in the cheese business up there. Imagine that. Green Bay, Wisconsin, hence the cheese heads. But But Jerry actually has a a few a few shares of ownership in the Green Bay Packers. And you you basically can't get y i it's all f it's a family deal, right?
So like there's generations that that the the shares have been passed down to, right? Right. Yeah, so it's pretty pretty amazing. Wow.
Well, that that's I I I'm not sure I knew that, but that's interesting 'cause, you know, Minnesota Viking guy growing up and so you would have been one of my arch rivals, Matt, just so you know. The funny thing is, my father-in-law is from Minnesota and he's a big Viking fan, so we have some fun. See, see, I knew I liked your father-in-law. Just saying, so Matt, let's let's let's talk for a couple minutes. Let's just talk uh about man camp, um, and then we'll.
We'll get to the health and wellness journey that you're currently on and that I think a lot of people will relate to out there. And uh but uh so you you came to camp a number of years ago yourself. How how like did you get invited by somebody? Did how'd you how'd you get there?
So, funny thing, it was back in the summer of 2021, I got invited by my father-in-law. To come to one of your one-day intenses out in Austell at Pastor Tony Evans Church. Hmm. And that's where I found out about Mancamp. And I just felt very strongly immediately just like, I have to go to that.
Mm. This is this this is something you're you're you're supposed to do. Yes, very much so. Like, I don't know why, I don't know what, but I need to be there. And so, that day I signed up for the October 21 camp.
Little did I know that My bride was going to the hospital with COVID in late September, and she did not come. out of the hospital until about a week before I was supposed to leave.
Okay. And our daughter had just turned four. at that point. And I I remember that phone call to you like I I want so badly to be there, but I can't leave her alone with a four-year-old. Right.
And my dad had gone in the hospital, same thing as well, and he had just got out too.
So my mom was. taking care of him.
So I I had nobody to help out with our daughter. And you graciously just rolled me over to the April twenty two camp. And that's been four years ago now. I can't believe it's been four years, but The feeling was spot on. I needed to be there because it truly changed my life.
And I hear that a lot. You know, it kind of sounds like tongue-in-cheek, but in all sincerity, I can't say every single guy, but many guys come to the conclusion of our camp will just look me squarely in the eyes. and will say this five these five words. This week was life changing. That was life changing.
And and and Guys come for a variety of different reasons and for a variety of backgrounds. I mean, everyone from military to law enforcement, the pastors, to multimillionaires, the homeless, to business owners. I mean, you know, there's no one we don't open our arms and welcome them if they have a desire to want to draw closer, kind of James 4:8, right? God says, draw close to me, and I will draw close to you. And so we set that atmosphere where guys can come and just run after the heart of God.
Um and and hopefully, ideally, our goal is to To empower them and give them, equip them when they go back home with tools to implement into their lives to be even better than they already are, right? You know, godly men, godly husbands, godly fathers, godly grandfathers. And I have many wife testimonials. We've seen marriages on the brink of divorce that have been restored, right, Matt? We have, and honestly, I can I I don't think I'm out of school saying this, that You know, when I went to camp, My wife and I were in a good spot.
We've had some tumultuous times since then, and I it would not shock me. If, without the tools that I got at Main Camp, it wouldn't surprise me if we ended up divorced. Wow.
Just with some of the stuff that we've been through, but it was that toolkit. that helped. Or you can So the equipping, what you learned at camp helped you to navigate those, as you said, tumultuous times. that you and your wife have experienced and and and you credit the camp for equipping you with how to navigate that. Correct.
And it also set the stage for me to you know, have you as a mentor in my life and then to meet someone else who has become a dear, dear friend of mine and mentor who I was able to come to camp about a year ago. And um you know, facilitate that relationship that I don't think would have Blossomed into anything had it not been for what I got at Camp. Wow, it's quite Quite the testimony, and you have since been back. I think everyone since that spring of 2022, right? And come back and step into that into that.
I guess what I call a worship booth, and help to lead and direct our times of worship there at camp and you. You do a masterful job with that. I know you're very prayerful over what you play and when you play it and all of that. And that's pretty powerful. And of course, You know, part of our vision for a camp was not only to equip men to be spiritually stronger, right, to to be a better leader in their home, a better servant leader in their home, let me just add that word, servant leader.
And so we emphasize the spiritual aspect of our journeys. But then also, you know, mentally, emotionally, right? Romans 12:2, don't be conformed to this world any longer, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. And so we talk about what it looks like to be healthy mentally and emotionally, in addition to spiritually. And then the last component of that.
Is physically healthy. And so, yes, we live in these. These temporary bodies But I believe, man, I think you would agree that there's a mandate that we. We are to take to the best of our ability We're to take care of these bodies, right? Yes, sir.
And in fact, the scripture comes to mind is 2 Corinthians 6, 19 and 20. It says, Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and that dwells in you? And you're bought at a price, and of course, that price That purchase price was what Jesus paid on Calvary. When he went to the cross and laid down his life that we might have eternal life. And then, once we make that decision to receive Christ, now we should have a new perspective on that aspect of our journey.
I know I do, for one. Like, for many years prior to my salvation, You know, when I go to the gym, it was a different motive or motivation for going. I just, you know, I wanted to be big and impress people, you know, and turn heads. But now, Matt, I go to the gym. I worked out this morning.
Believe it or not, Matt, I can't believe I'm doing that. I got up at 5 o'clock to go work out. Like 5 a.m. And I'm like God's just got me in this different place, different season right now. But that said, You know, I go do it, did a 20-minute walk around the lake.
I went in, I did some lower body leg workout and some core workout. And this is one of the aspects we emphasize at camp as well: taking care of the physical body. Lex Luger comes in and does a teaching on this. You know, those who are familiar with wrestling will know that name. Lex Luger, he was the visionary behind man camp with me.
And so he comes in and does a teaching on eating and exercising. We talk about that, and we have some fun too, you know, with a QA and him and I, and with all the campers. And, you know, we see men come in from we've had from over 25 different states in Canada and Europe. I mean, they've over the years I've been doing this. And the testimonies, like if somebody goes on the website, go on mancamp.info, mancamp.info, you can actually see some before and after photos.
Of guys who God convicted, hey, you need to take better care of your body. What you're, you know, it's the temple of the Holy Spirit. Don't abuse it. Take care of it. And so you'll see some incredible weight loss stories and just journeys that men are on.
You're on that journey, man. In fact, More recently. You got involved with me with a nutritional company that I now endorse, wholeheartedly endorse. You know, I'm the kind of guy that. If I find something I think of value, especially when it comes to nutrition, I want to let others know about it because if it works for me and it's good for me, it's got to be good for others.
And so I got involved with a guy by the name of Jennifer Dow with a company called Trenant. Pretty amazing science-based. Products that they have. And so I just felt prompted to introduce you to it. I didn't know you had kind of.
Got up, I guess. I don't know how much you want to share, Matt, but the heaviest that you'd ever been. Take a minute or two and tell what prompted you to get involved with Trinat with me. And in the few short weeks as of this recording, the success you've had. Talk about that.
Absolutely.
So it's really kind of a funny story. You know, you introduced us to it and Before the call was even over, my wife and I were looking at each other like, Yeah, it was almost the same kind of feeling I had about man camp the first time I heard it. It's just like, Yeah, we're in, we need to do this. And That's very not us. when it comes to New products, or even a business, or something like that, we're very much like not diving in headfirst kind of people.
But we did on this, and I'm so glad we did because I was already in the headspace that I've got to start. really considering doing something because Um, my dad passed away in November of last year. Unexpectedly, right? Very unexpectedly. He had some health issues, but nothing that would have led us to think that he was about to drop.
And he did. He just dropped. And So we went through and We're like, we're doing this. And the day that I got my products, I was 299 pounds. Wow.
And yesterday when I weighed, I was 279 pounds.
So 20 pounds. In just a matter of weeks. And you set up your own regiment. We won't go into all the details and stuff. People want more information.
We'll give them the website here at the end. But you got a number of different products you thought would be right for you and set up this regiment where it's great, man. You have like your morning cocktail and your certain lunch and afternoon cocktail and smoothies and your meals and different things that are a catalyst in burning fat and giving you energy and just helping you along on this journey, right? Yes, sir. And I'm I'm even I'm bringing that to camp with me too, because I'm not stopping just because we're having camp.
Do you have do you have a goal? Like you have a like do you like I want to lose fifty pounds or seventy five or seventy or sixty or do you have a a pr a a goal? Ultimate goal is going to be somewhere in the range of 215 to 225. I mean, I'm looking at it. you know, like 10 pounds at a time.
Because I don't want to, you know, I'm looking, okay, I'm at 270, okay, let's get to 270 and then 260, 250. Ultimate goal in that range of 215 to 225. Wow.
And that could take a, you know, look, there's, we have success stories of people I've seen pictures of, yeah, I was on a, you know, been with this company for four years and been, I was on a 14-month journey and lost 64 pounds. Or, you know, the other day I was introduced to a gal who's lost 102 pounds. Right. And so it's quite amazing.
Now, let's just, before we run out of time, just take 60 seconds. Your mom, you introduced your mom to something that's really kind of buzzing right now in the marketplace, collagen, right? Not every collagen is created equal, right?
So give us 60 seconds on her results in just a matter of weeks. What's she seeing with it? Oh my goodness.
So the collagen, when I explained it to her, she was like, well, I'll try it because she's got a bad knee. That I firmly believe she was headed for a knee replacement, whether she liked it or not, one day, because she just refused to go get it checked out. And um She had a in her knee, it will move around on her, like she can feel it moving around and. It'll, you know. crackle, pop, all that stuff, and she told to the point she could hear it.
herself when it's doing it as she's just moving around. And she took one dose. of this collagen. and saw improvements. the next day.
And she has seen improvements over the past few weeks to the point that um She twisted it outside. She was outside with her dog and twisted that knee. And normally when she did that, she'd have to go sit down. And ice it for probably 20 to 30 minutes and prop it up to. let the pain die down and where she could get back.
Of moving around good again. Yeah. And she did that, and it didn't even hurt.
Well, and for those who aren't familiar with collagen and peptides, those sorts of things, I mean, You know, bones and joints, you know, joint aches and, I mean, just it, it helps with a lot. And I know you told me even her breathing stuff, she was on an inhaler three or four times a day. And now weeks later, she's maybe used it three or four times in a matter of weeks where she wasn't doing that a day, right? Which is that's correct. And I think that has to do with the connective tissue.
Yeah. The collagen will help as well. Yeah. So folks, just something to consider and think about if you, you know, if you're needing to improve your health and wellness, one, if you're a man out there, come to man camp and we'll talk about it. We'll talk about exercise and eating and what it means to take care of this temple.
You know, if you're a gal out there, there's some things for the ladies that we have specifically and a host of other things. I'm going to give you the website here in just a moment, but science-based. I took a year and a half to research this because I knew if I wanted to attach my name to it, it had to be legit. The products had to be real, and people were going to get real results. We got two Facebook websites out there with over a hundred thousand testimonies of people that have been seeing results with the Trinat.
Products. And so, if you're inspired or encouraged or curious from Matt's story today. Go to koloff.info. That's just my last name, Koloff, K-O-L-O-F-F. Dot info, I n f o And you can check them out right there and get all the information you need.
Read about all the science behind these products. And I'm just excited to be a part of it. Of course, Matt. Matt got involved on there's a a business side of it and so Matt's making a little little extra income on on the side as well. Excited about that too, right, Matt?
Very much. It's been a very nice little side income for a few weeks and Really, we just can't wait to see where this thing goes and just let the Lord do with it what he will. The main thing for me is I just want to get this stuff in people's hands because I know it works. No, I appreciate it. Hey, we're almost out of time, but man, the mojo coffee, right?
I'm not a real coffee drinker, but man, have I heard some testimonies on the mojo coffee and people going from one of our camp buddies, right? One of our alumni going from three to four cups a day down to just one cup that is actually healthier and gives longer sustained energy as well, right?
So pretty amazing stuff. And again, if you're on that path of probably the two biggest challenges for people out there is their health, their health, and their finances, right? With the rising costs of things. And of course, we feel like we might have an answer, maybe an answer to prayer for you. Go to coloff.info, click koloff.info, I-N-F-O, to learn more.
And if you're interested, ladies and guys out there, learning more about Man Camp. Go to man camp. That's mancamp.info. Matt Hitch, appreciate you being on the show today. We didn't get to talk much about your lovely bride, Erin, and that lovely daughter of yours, Charlotte, but send them my love, would you?
Yes, sir, I absolutely will. Awesome. And to all you out there and listening, Land, we want to thank you for tuning in today. Hope you're inspired by some of the show today, for all of the show today, and for Matt Hitch's story today. Until next time, go out and have a God-filled, a God-blessed day.
