As believers, we are embroiled in a spiritual battle against the devil and his minions, who wield their power in the present darkness. To stand firm against these schemes, we need the armor of God, which includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, the word of God. We must be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might, and remember that the devil is a defeated enemy with limitations, but still a formidable foe who attacks with lies and deceit.
