Welcome into the Winkler Verse. I am Bart Winkler. It is the Fourth of November, Wednesday night. If this is the podcast that you've joined, we just cranked out some great episodes this week. If I may say so myself, reunion with Chuck Freeman from Chuck and Winkler.

I was frames falling today. I thought of that. Felt good about it. Frames fallen, get it? Because free frames, frames fallen.

So Chuck and Winkler reunion, Paul and Grant a little reunion with the yesterday.

So some good podcast here. This one I hope to keep in that spirit. But once again, it is a Milwaukee Bucks post game show. As the goal is going to be weeknight Bucks games. Ah, there'll be a post game show.

We're talking your Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Not so much your Fridays. Certainly not your weekends, unless there's some Packer overlap. All of our post game shows are brought to you by First and Bull, First and Bull dot com. Check it out.

Spell it out: F I R S T and Bull dot com. Great space for parties. Whether it's corporate parties, you just want to hang. Maybe like part of a bachelor party weekend. You want a couple of hours of space.

You want to have a kids party. They got a great Nerf area. I'm really excited to take the team there, coming up here sometime this month.

So check that out firstandbowl.com. And then the other thing I want to mention off the top is I'm going to announce the winner on Sunday. During our Packer post game, Packers and Patriots, of somebody who is going to join Tim Shea and I at Potawatomi Sportsbook, you're going to have the chance to. I mean, you don't have to talk to me and Shea if you don't want. But we're all sitting at a table together.

It's going to be me and you, and then Tim Shea, and then a guest of your choice.

So if you don't want to talk to us, I don't care. You don't have to. You're gonna get free food and drink, so we're covering that. Not covering your bets. I'm trying to win some money so that I could maybe slip you a twenty to bet on something, and that that is the storyline right now.

So the Bucks lost to the Celtics, one hundred nine to one hundred two. Um, good effort, especially in the second half. A lot to like, still a lot not to like. And a lot that a lot that is telling you, like whatever the next Bucks playoff team is going to be, a lot of guys that are on this team now will not be on that team, and one of those guys is Kyle Kuzma. The title of this episode, I hate to be this guy, but one particular Milwaukee Bucks forward is costing me a lot of money, and that that obviously is Kyle Kuzma.

So. For those that don't know, I thought the Bucks would hit their over this year, and they still might. They're one in seven; bad start. They need to win one out of every three games.

So I would like right now if they were three and five, or two and six. This would have been a big win, actually. Like for me, I really wanted this win against the Celtics.

So, I bet five hundred dollars that they would hit their over. At least that was the plan twenty five and a half. But I win too much. I win thirty because I didn't like the odds. I wasn't getting enough money back, and I am a greedy son of a bitch.

So, I need them to win thirty games plus two hundred on my five hundred bucks. That would give me my five hundred back and a thousand. I could go to Potawatomi.

Sometime this spring, and walk out of there with fifteen hundred bucks. Let's call it thirteen hundred bucks, because I inevitably would put two hundred dollars on slots, and maybe some blackjack too, if the tables were calling my name.

So you know, maybe eleven hundred bucks, some bubble craps, maybe maybe maybe a thousand dollars. But then I had this stupid idea of, well, if I'm not going to get The thirty wins, and I'm already thinking maybe way too early. If I'm not going to get the thirty wins, what if I bet twenty dollars on the Bucks money line every night? Because then, when they if they win enough games and the odds are low enough, I bet twenty dollars tonight that they could win tonight's game, and I would have won eighty five bucks. That'd have been nice.

Then when they were down twenty five to eight. I sprinkled another ten on there. If they would have won the game tonight, I would have won two hundred and fifty dollars, and that would have covered half of my bet.

Now I would have kept betting on the Bucks to win with that money. That would have been a nice seed money, which now I got to refigure that out. But I was feeling pretty good. The Bucks have been able to, and they just talked about it at the end of the broadcast, courtesy of Lisa Byington's dad, who told her essentially to look into the stat. But they have been making some of these games interesting.

Against the Wizards, they led by a point with ten minutes to go. Against the Bulls, they led by a point with a buck sixteen to go. Against the Sixers, they were only down three with a buck forty five. They beat the Pacers last week. Monday, entering the fourth, they were only down four against the Timberwolves, and then tonight they were down twenty two points.

With four minutes to go left in the second, tied the game. Eventually, took a lead, and then gave it, gave it right back.

So the Bucks had a graphic tonight. Competitive games this season. When you when you have a graphic like that, competitive games this season, it's not great.

So I'm starting to think, okay, this is going to be good. We're going to get this win against the Celtics that we should not have gotten either before the game or certainly during. And then. After the Bucks tie it, take the lead. The offense, for whatever reason, was funneled through Kyle Kuzma by choice, and he is terrible.

Like we all know, he's not good. But when you have money on him or the Bucks, and then you really are intently watching. He's not good. I will never be one of these guys that puts money on a game and then sends a message. I didn't title.

I didn't put Kyle Kuzma's name in this. I don't. I don't need to put him on blast. He if he if he's intrigued by the title and he wants to check it out on the Dan Shani YouTube stream, he could do that. But I'm not.

I'm you know. I'm letting it at least up to interpretation until oh yeah it's obviously Bart's talking about Kyle Kuzma.

So I'm not one of these guys that is ever going to DM an athlete and say you cost me money, you know you suck. But I I think I understand why people do it. Like Kyle Kuzma is awful. He's awful. He was everything you could do at the end.

He missed the rebound. He threw away a pass. I really don't like when guys go to the rim to get fouled without even making a play on the shot. Like, don't just go to the rim. You know, throw up your body and hope to get fouled.

At least make it a shot that can somewhat go in. And players, you know, they don't do that a lot, and it really annoys me. But Coos did that tonight. There's just they they they took him out with two minutes to go. Thank goodness, but that was too late.

He's just not good. But the Bucks don't have anywhere else to turn. But still, yeah, I I don't think you need to play him. The discussion might be: Are you playing him for a trade? Are you keeping him out there because you want to showcase him for a trade?

I guess, but I don't think you're helping your cause. I think Kyle Kuzma doesn't help for them. But what about us? If you don't play him, that might be more beneficial than just letting him go out there and cost you basketball games. Again, the long run of this team is not win tonight.

I would have liked it. We would have liked it. I think money aside, and I'm not gonna. We'll we'll talk about this Buck season other than my bet. I think it is an interesting hook, but you know, only one win through eight games.

I thought we'd be a little better than that. But that's I'm not gonna do 40 minutes a night on my my bet.

So the wins aren't necessarily important for this actual team. They're not making the playoffs. They're not making the play-in. Was this an NBA Cup game tonight? I don't think it was because the floor wasn't different.

And those Tuesdays and Thursdays or Fridays are not prime. Don't care. Don't care. So we're not winning that either.

So what is it about? It's about developing guys. Amen. Got some good time. I thought that I thought that he had some nice possessions.

How did he finish tonight? 18 minutes, nine points, two of six from three. Burry's little more confident. Didn't shoot as much as he did the other night. Three for seven, missed his threes, but nine points in 22 minutes for him.

Kuzma six points. This is like what he's done. Didn't he have like nine the other night too? Yeah, Kuzma's not scoring. Turnovers three, season high.

Costly at the end. Hakez at 18 points. Turner had 12. Hero at 25. Rollins 13 off the bench, including a couple big threes.

So it's about playing these guys. But even still, Uzman Jiang, like, let's play him. Get get Kuzma out of there. I'm not into Miles Turner either. I don't.

It's so weird that he's here. We brought him in to pair with Giannis, which wasn't going to work, and now he's still just like here. It's weird. It seems like he never belonged here, and now he's just kind of like left over. He showed up with his buddies at a party.

They all left, and he's just kind of like, "I'll actually stay if you don't mind." It's raining outside. I don't. I don't know the next spot we're going. I'll just hang out here. The food's good.

I got a chair. I'm fine at this party.

So he just kind of is sticking around here. But I'm wondering, why don't you give more minutes to Sims and and Dang or Jang if you're if you're an Amen and and where. But we don't have a lot of size, so you are playing Turner, you are playing Kuzma. Maybe you're trying to showcase them. It's just they're not, not they're not good.

Uh, they're not good. We are brought to you by Happy Place M. Promo code Bart, twenty five percent off each and every order. Happy Place M. dot com.

Dipping right into that after, and gonna watch. I got league pass. I'm gonna watch Giannis and the Heat against the Clippers. I need to see how one of these Heat games go. Simon, oh, Simon's helping me crawl back.

The A means Aussie money or New Zealand. Thirty will happen, but you have loads of night like tonight.

Some good signs, though. Off topic, but how about the Jordan Love Halloween video? Pierce Cinema, where him and Ronica shit on the refs. I think the NFL is just going to ignore that one because a lot of people thought he might get fined. On on that one, but Simon, thanks as always for supporting the the channel.

Hot take: Jake is joining the proceedings tonight. More of your comments, I want to go through. Jake is here. What's happening, brother? Hey, Barty, how are you?

I'm pretty coozed out right now, but I'm good. I wish I was coozed out. That's my plans for later. Sucks though. Yeah, he's really, really bad.

You know, I wonder about guys like Kuzma because, like, you're in the NBA and he's gotten paid before. Does he know how fucking terrible he is, or is it like, is he so delusional he actually thinks like I'm a star? I'm, I'm dating. Like, I've dated famous people. I was the LA guy.

What goes through his head? Do you think? My kid asked me, "Is Kuzma worse than last year?" I said, Bud Kuzma gets worse. Like by the possession, like however bad he is now, he was twelve possessions better than that twelve possessions ago. Sure, he just but he's just like continue.

You know how like if the you get these guys at the YMCA, and an old NBA guy comes in or like a Scalabrini a twelfth man, and they just run through these guys. Yeah, I don't think Kuz could do that. No. I think he's losing to the street ball guys for sure. But yeah, or even if like you did like pick teams at Y ball, I don't think Kuz is going top ten.

You're picking your buddies. You're like, I don't want Kuz.

Well, because he's also going to be the guy that like he'll brick like four shots in a row, and then he'll like do this like, my bad guys, that's me, that's me, my bad, and then just keep doing it. He never stops. At least they took them out tonight. Yeah.

Well, this team, I mean, is just the definition of a going nowhere, doing nothing, like, and not in an interesting way, kind of team. Like, there's nothing that makes this team watchable or makes you want to be mad that they're losing or like cheering for wins. They don't have a penny, so there's no money. Does money? Who?

Money. Oh my!

Well, yeah. I was into this like it was a 2021 Bucks Celtics TNT late March game, Jake. I mean, I gave you props. You did the only thing that probably could make it interesting for someone. I'm just not a gambler, so I can't do it.

Although I'm still what are you making? Little protein high rise? No, I'm making my pre-workout for tomorrow, and then I'm got making the kids lunch, and then we're gonna be doing some meal prep tonight too.

So. Your kids have school Friday. I don't know if the kids have school. What's Friday? Yes.

My kid does not have school. Oh. Probably better because I have a conference. No, my knowledge. My they they wouldn't take off for the parade.

They made a big stink about the parade, and now the next Friday we're just randomly off.

Well, that's those fancy pantsy Shorewood kids, man. They get all the days off. That dude, that you're not lying. That's a bummer. Hey, how was your Tuesday night?

I had a decent night. How was yours? I was. I was pleased with my Tuesday night, although I found it funny because, like, we do this all the time. Like, there's a big win.

And then ultimately nothing happens, and then like nobody gets upset until it doesn't go their way again, and then we get another win, and then nothing happens, and we're just we're fucking stupid. We just keep falling for it. It's hilarious. Yeah, that is the lot in life we've chosen. Yep.

You know, a week ago at this time, the Brewers were in the World Series. Yeah, I was thinking about that on my drive home from work today. I was just like, I was actually listening to. You and um, what's his face? Frames.

Frames. Why that? That's so weird. Frames falling. Yeah, and I was just like, holy shit!

Like one of the first times it really hit me. Like the Brewers are the World Series champion, the World champs right now. But I am very depressed. I miss them dearly. I'm.

My like, you know, your text threads throughout the day and your Facebook Messenger threads. All I want to do is talk hot stove.

Now I have no Packers interests. I have no Bucks interests. I just want to make fun of politics and talk Brewers hot stove. That's it. That's my only interests.

This holiday, all plans, even unlimited, are just fifteen dollars a month. A holiday deal this good obviously deserves an enormously expensive holiday song, like "All I Want." Right?

Okay, we can afford that. You know what? Forget the music budget. We're gonna stick with whatever's in the public domain. Give it a try at mintmobile.com/slash-switch.

Upfront payment of forty five dollars for three months, ninety dollars for six months, or one hundred and eighty dollars for twelve month plan required. Fifteen dollars per month equivalent. Taxes and fees extra. New customer offer for initial plan term only. Greater than fifty gigabytes may slow when network is busy.

See terms. What about wrestling? I'm not really in it right now. I mean, I know peripherally what's going on, but the whole Saudi thing is really gross. That they haven't changed.

They're still going. Yeah, it's it's insane, and again, they've actually doubled down and somehow made themselves look worse by changing the venue and acknowledging there's a security threat, but not actually like not doing it. Is it like a secret venue? No, I think it's just smaller. WWE, they they for those that don't know.

They're taking all the Saudi money, and they they go over there like twice a year, and every time they go over there, they like build a new arena from scratch. Yeah, and then they basically they take a parking lot, and they build an arena. The WWE goes there, and then they tear it down.

So they were rebuilding a new one, and they're like, "No, we can't do it there, say unsafe," but they're still doing it in Riyadh. But I don't know where from. But just remember, you know, public transit—Columbus in Saudi Arabia, public transit infrastructure—that can't be done. It takes too long. But data centers and Saudi stadiums can go up in like four days.

So. Yay, world! Yeah, it's gross. They'll be like one of the last ones that'll continue to take that money too. I saw some guy from TKO was asked like, "What are the chances of canceling WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia?" And his response was, "Well, they already paid us half up front." Yeah, and it's like a third of their yearly money.

Yeah, it's gross. But kudos to the guys standing up for themselves and not going. As bad as it is, and as much as uninteresting as the product is right now, there's nothing that could make me watch AEW.

So at least there's that.

Well, there you go, Jake has spoken. Jake, good to talk to you, buddy. Love you, pal. That's hot. Sure, getting his pre-workout done.

Strong takes. A new member of the donation club. We shout out Strong Takes. Appreciate you. Make sure if you ever catch these videos, you do hit the subscribe button.

It does help. There's a lot of ways to help the show, without um, without you feeling like you actually help, but it does help. Every click helps. Every every like it really does. You know, I hate it too when I listen to these people and I watch these YouTube videos and they're like, I like for a surprise.

But it works. Simon says Turner and Coos need to be gone more than KPJ did. I I don't know.

So I'm in the minor. I'm in the majority on Coos. We all don't like Coos. Turner, I don't know about. Do you?

Are we into Turner? Like, are you more forgiving of Turner than I am? Turner, I was pumped when we got him. And I I like him. I don't dislike.

Like I dislike a Kyle Kuzma, but I don't dislike Miles Turner. I just I don't like him on my basketball team. Turner, and maybe it's just because these are the two guys with size, but it feels like they're just getting in the way. Turner's always just seems like he's in the way. I don't know.

All right, some comments here on the YouTube stream. Elite Nineties says the Bucks really got rid of KPJ over Kuzma in Green. SMH. Rollins has been bad as well. Sell high on him.

I'm not an AJ Green guy either. I am. I I think that we trusted him too early. I don't think he's as automatic from three. As as as advertised, he's one for four tonight.

So I'm not, I'm not an AJ Green guy. You 20 minutes, isn't his whole thing three and D? 20 minutes, you're gonna put up four shots.

So guys that are on this team again, no no Gary Trent either. Kuzma, I don't want here. Hakez is like I'll I'll do like. I'll do like above average, you know, like the five scale, like when you fill out a survey for nickels, like I also do in my free time. I'd be fine if Hocke's like if we if we lost Hocke's, I'd live, but I I like him.

Hero, I like, but he really is our only trade piece. Burries, you know, you just got to keep plugging him away. Jeng should be playing more. Amen should be playing more. Where I think should be playing more, Rollins.

Look, I think a lot of people are down on Rollins right now because he hasn't been making threes. He's a nice guy to have on a second unit. This team is a lot worse than I thought they would be. I think that's my main takeaway. Like I, I didn't expect them to make the playoffs.

I thought thirty wins was a no brainer. What do I need them to do now? I needed them to go thirty and fifty two.

So now I need them to go twenty nine and forty five. No, that's not happening. All right, so I'm just gonna keep plugging in. They're not doing that. Ah, ah, Jay Lewis.

Micah Parsons practice for the first time this week. At least that's something to look forward to after our World Series chip. Yeah, that's good. I don't know when he's going to play. I'm not going to sweat over it either.

when he When he's on the field, he's on the field. There's not much more we can do. Again, if it's not Bucks, essentially. I would like the Bucks to get better, and at least they made this competitive.

So there's a little bit of a game to talk about. If you miss Bucks Celtics, or just oh, I'll see how they're doing. I'm checking in. They've been competitive. There's they're they're not going to win anything.

So even if they're down big, you know it's the NBA. You're down 25 to 8 in the first quarter. You might as well it might well just be 97 to 97.

So that's the thing I do need to do. You need to you need to make these bets when a team is down, and then you know let them ride the wave back up, maybe cash out at some point. But I can't do that with the over under bet. But that's what that's what you need to do because the NBA always goes on those swings. Anyway, I I want the Bucks to be something we can talk about for forty minutes a night.

But if other things come up, you know that this is going to be a designated Winkler verse pop in hang. Catch it later. What's going on with sports? I want to talk to Bart, or I want to just talk, that sort of thing.

So this weekend, the next post game show will be after Packers Patriots Sunday night, and then the next Bucks show will be next Tuesday. We'll do a Bucks Knicks show, and they got the Lakers on Wednesday, so we might have a couple next week. Yeah, that's that's the intention. Tim Shea is joining the proceedings. This is my dad.

I didn't watch an ounce of the box game, and that's why we're here to fill people in on what they didn't see. I saw the final score. I go, oh, they were competitive tonight. Maybe. John says this team is not good.

Plenty of blame to go around between players and coaches. But damn it. It always seems to start and end with Kuz.

So, they were down big. They clawed their way back. They took a lead. They ran four plays through Kyle Kuzma. They were down by eight again.

That's pretty much what happened. They took him out. It was too late. Yeah, you're going to need to help me with the Bucks this year if I'm going to keep on coming onto the show.

So, Thunder says trade everyone already. Travis says, "Kuzma and Turner need to be traded. This team's not going to win twenty. What did?

Well, did you put down twenty-five? You said over twenty-five, thirty. Oh, I need them to go twenty-nine and forty-five. Yeah, they're not. They they they're not.

What did you say? They have to win every third or fourth game." At the beginning of the year, yeah, pretty much. Yeah, good luck now. Flats Max says if you bet enough money, it's going to start feel like you are watching the World Series again. I'm putting money on the Packers tomorrow to win the North.

Fifty bucks. What are the odds? Like four hundred plus eight fifth plus eight fifty eight fifty. I wouldn't do it. I'm doing it.

No, I wouldn't do it. Why? I don't. I don't think they're gonna do that. I don't think they're gonna win the division.

All right. Bobby says Tim Shea looking good, losing some weight. Question mark. Maybe. What are you down?

Uh, twenty five. Twenty five. Yep. How much more do you want to lose? Maybe another twenty five.

Twenty five. I want to lose twenty five. It's you can do it.

Well, I did do it, and then I gained it back.

Well, let's let's do it again. Let's get a workout plan going. We can maybe you know sell our workout plan or something. Dude, tonight I was so fatigued. I think I need to go to the doctor.

I was so fatigued I couldn't even get up. I didn't have the energy to get up. Like I couldn't get off. I physically couldn't get off the couch. Oh, that's a problem.

Finally, the moment passed, but that's concerning. Ah. Jake Bower is going to accept the qualifying offer. Twenty three million is a lot to turn down. It is, especially for possibly like a hundred game season.

So I don't think you think he's going to turn it down. I don't know. Do you? Well, I think everybody thinks he's getting like three for fifty-five, right? You know what?

Yeah, he's going to turn it down. I think he leaves. I think. I don't think we're gonna jettison everybody like the Cubs did, but this team's gonna look a lot different in two years. In two years, and certainly not next year.

Well, Bowers will be gone, sure, but you know what? Fuck it. He's gonna sign the one-year deal. That doesn't. That doesn't.

Not. No, he's not. Hmm. Remember what he said? You're not getting rid of me that easy.

Yeah, but everybody says that in the moment. I know. Yelich really sold his house too, and he's moving to Milwaukee. Is that true? True.

I saw he's selling his house in California. Yeah, and moving to Milwaukee full time. That's what I heard. He does love it here, dude. Do you think they're grooming him to be the next manager, possibly?

No. Okay. I think they're grooming him to be the next. Who? How long does Murphy have?

I mean, I know he has as long as he wants, but five years? Less than that? More than that? Are you asking because he had a heart attack or from his job? No, I'm just, I'm just asking.

Like, are you asking when he's gonna die? No, I'm just saying. Like, how many, how many more years does he have as the Brewers manager? Good lord, how old is he? Sixty seven, something like that.

Three years till seventy. Yeah, he could say, "All right, that's good. I'm done." Until he can get his grandkids up on the podium after a game. Yeah.

Yeah, it's not like he's. It's not like he's not around his kids. He brought his kids, Grant. It's not like he did. It's not.

How hard is his job? Honestly, it's not.

Well, you know what? It is. He's got himself. Who's going to go out there and talk to Luis Lir and then hit him in the chest and then he he gets a game winning hit. Yeah, all he has to do is like, "Hey, here's a bunch of talented dudes.

Just give them the green light to steal, and you win the World Series." Where's our banner going? I don't want a banner. We're gonna. You have. You're gonna get one.

We're not painting a little thing on the press box. We're getting getting a banner. Where's we don't have any banners. We're getting a World Series banner and a National League. Champions banner.

We're gonna get two of them. Where are they going? Flagpole out in center field. Below the batter's eye or at the batter's eye? Has Euchre been dead long enough that I can shit on him?

No. Stop it. That restaurant to be named later thing. That was stupid. They should call it Euchers.

What does it call right now? Liney Lodge. It's uh like yeah. It's The brew house or something, the Limey Lodge. I really missed the shitty bar they used to have up there.

Oh, where the Ceiling Experiences now? Oh yeah, God, I forgot about that. Was that a cigar thing at one point too? All I know is that it one day it was like a hundred ten degrees, and I went in there, and we you found it, and you were like. How did we get here?

How did we get back? No one's in there. There's like video games you could play. We sat on a couch, but even that portion of the stadium is like weird. Do you remember before that?

So that when I first started, like they had like a virtual batting cage, an ESPN, a not do like thirty seconds on. TV, like introduce, coming live to you from Miller Park. Do you remember that or no? They had the racing sausages that you could glide on a rail. I don't know.

I'm more. What was it called? Like Airport Bar or something weird? Oh, I forget. Yeah, me too.

I'm gonna watch Giannis in a little bit. Yeah, they got a late game. I saw that. They're two and five, right? Yeah, I'm gonna hate watch them.

See how that goes. Um, yeah, should be fun. I'm playing a DraftKings lineup. That's why I'm interested.

Okay. First time I saw the Seelig experience, I was lost. I okay.

So you wanna know something funny? I I've never been in it. I've never been in it either. I think we. I don't want to go.

I feel like we had this conversation actually when you were at the airport. Barely remember that, by the way. How would you? You were. I was toast.

You were. You handled yourself well. Ah, because I was probably in my bed. You were. I wasn't any more coherent than you were.

My Uber ride on the way home. She's like, I remember this. She's like, How you doing? I go, I'm doing fucking great. The Brewers just won the World Series.

Nothing's gonna ruin my night. She goes, Well, if I crash his car, then it might. I go, Nope.

Well, I thought there'd be a little more chaos around Milwaukee that night. Blue Mountain, there was some good stuff going on. Yeah, like what? People running up and down the streets. Nothing crazy.

There wasn't like there wasn't. What kind of chaos are you looking for? Like, like, like poles coming down, cars getting flipped, shit getting lit on fire. We're good. It was like a ramp up, and then we won, and we're all kind of like, "On with our day." We've waited our whole lives for this.

The Brewers won the World Series, and we're just moving on. I was just about to ask a stupid question. I was going to say, "Where were you that night?" I was at the game. I know. Yeah, I watched some of UWM Santa Clara too.

Yeah, they're a good, good, good reminder. Thank you. What they play tonight? Yeah, they got they got their little West Coast trip. Yeah, it was.

You know what? It was the. Did you go down to the parade? Like I haven't talked to you in a while. Yeah.

What the fuck? I know. I sorry. I didn't call the night we won the world. Too.

I was too busy. Oh, dude. I was. I went to the parade. Yeah.

Nice. I got those win our way signs, and they all ripped.

Okay. I have three of them that are ripped. You get a towel. No. Okay.

Get a towel. Where did you watch it? Where? What was your location? We were a block down from the Fister.

Okay. You and the the me, my wife, my kid, and one of his friends.

Okay. And there was a building that we were in front of, and they had it like in front of the door. They had it like roped off. Cause it was some construction guys or some construction company. They had a bunch of people in construction gear watching the parade, but they took half the street up and blocked it off.

And I just went under the rope to go under the rope, and immediately the project manager. Not the guy, not the guy in the yellow vest, but the guy in the green company polo with the coffee cup, because these guys don't do a fucking thing. Hey, you're in our spot, just claiming, just claiming spots on the road. I I was not happy about it. Yeah.

Well.

Okay. Yeah, I mean, where were you? I was at the amphitheater. Oh, that's right. Can you?

Was it Was it possible to do both? Yes. Hold on. I'm gonna. I need to disconnect and then reconnect.

Hold on. I'll be back in two seconds. All right. Disconnect. Um.

And then come back. Matt Lafleur for you is asking me a lot of questions about David Shepherd, my former colleague. Have I ever hung out with David Shepard outside of work? I bet he hangs out at a Starbucks all day. I don't know what that means.

Shep lives in New York, and I live in Milwaukee. I don't. I talk to him. I haven't. I've never seen him in real life.

I've only seen Carlos in real life once.

So I don't know. I don't know. I I can't really. He'll answer your questions for you. Oh man, we are we are really going to we're really talking a lot about my guy.

Shit, Simon says get coos up on the hate wall bar. That might be, that might be, the the shame frame. We might have to go coos there. Certainly. MC says, "I saw Ricky Weeks at the parade on one of those 100-person employee floats.

Thought he might have had more of a highlight." Eric Thames has his own car for crying out loud. Yeah, there's got to be a story behind that. Why Thames ended up with his own car? That seemed a bit weird. I don't know why Thames would have his own car.

And and I wish more guys did come back. I wish there was like a You know it's probably short notice, but like with an alumni, do like the 2000. I don't know how you would separate it, but there's different eras of Brewers baseball. We feel that there's different eras. They could have done something like that.

I don't know. As I mentioned, I do have a voicemail here. Voicemails brought to you by Carl's Place. I just tweeted and put on Facebook. Carl's Place, they're doing a 20% off sale.

And the link is available where I have posted it, so check that out. Thanks to our friends at Carl's place. I'm going to play a voicemail here. You know, Carl gave me a ride home from the track. I, I, I, yes, I kind of remember that.

Yeah, Carl gave me a ride home. That's great. All right, I got a voicemail from Matt Matthew. Ready? Hit me.

What's going on, man? It's Matthew in Chicago. It's Tuesday night. It's about nine thirty.

Sorry to hit you up so late, brother. But hey, I got a couple of things for you. Congratulations with the Brew Crew, man. Y'all showed out and took it like you should have.

Next year we're gonna see you there with the White Sox. We're gonna see you there. And the swag, the merch. If I was you, this is I got in two thousand five. My pops got me the.

Locker room hat, the locker room shirt, and then the parade hat, and he got himself the parade jacket, which I now have.

So, like the ones that Uh Uh Yelich and Contreras had on. Contreras had a little Jordan. Those were a thousand dollars. Uh, but anyways, that's what I would. If I was you, all the merch can go.

You know. Whatever, but the official thing, man. I still have the parade jacket, and for my 5th man, that thing is still good from 2005. But I know it's like a thousand for the one that you, the Brewers, was awesome now. But anyways, man, the Bears and the Packers—they got—they got some good games coming up, man.

I don't think you guys should be giving up so quickly on the Packers. To be honest with you, you're not. I mean, at the end of the day, y'all got me or Mike is coming back. Thanksgiving, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, y'all got the Pats, y'all got the Vikings, the Rams, the Saints. What to buy in between?

I mean, y'all can make up some headway. The Bears got the Bucks, Saints, bye, and the Lions and Jags.

So I don't know. Y'all can make up some headway. Don't count yourselves out yet. We go see y'all to the finish line. All right, Bart.

I'm gonna highlight you later, man. Take it easy. All right, Matthew and Horvat and I will go through the week. Is it week nine slate? Oh, I play my kid in fantasy this week.

Finally, oh, finally the good old rivalry. It's like Packers Bears, Winkler versus Winkler. Big one. Um, two things. A, when you were down back to the parade, when you were down there, did you see the baseballs?

And did you see our signature? Our signature is on the baseball. You, me, and Horvat. Remember. Yeah, I didn't see where that was.

It was across from the Fister.

Okay, what was the other thing?

So we went to the amphitheater. We probably could have gotten out and then got back in, but we were like just nervous. Like we're like we saw the parade starting to come up. We were watching at the Briggs and Stratton stage, and. We saw that they were starting to get closer to Summerfest, so like we were like, "Oh, we should go!

We should go!" And then they waited for everybody to get done. Obviously, seventy units in the parade, so. We just went into the amphitheater, but yeah, we could have done both. It was cool. The amphitheater was pretty cool.

This is the story of the one. As a shipping manager, he's running the dock, stocking supplies, and making sure every order goes out on time. And Granger helps him stay prepared. From shipping supplies to PPE to hand tools, he counts on Granger to keep products moving and trucks rolling, so his operation runs smoothly no matter the shift. Call one eight.

Hundred Granger. Click Granger. dot com or just stop by Granger for the ones who get it done. This holiday, all plans, even unlimited, are just fifteen dollars a month. A holiday deal this good obviously deserves an enormously expensive holiday song like "All I Want." Right?

Okay, we can afford that. You know what? Forget the music budget. We're going to stick with whatever's in the public domain. Give it a try at MintMobile.

dot com slash switch. Upfront payment of forty-five dollars for three months, ninety dollars for six months, or one hundred and eighty dollars for twelve-month plan required. Fifteen dollars per month equivalent. Taxes and fees extra. New customer offer for initial plan term only.

Greater than fifty gigabytes may slow when network is busy. See terms. Do you regret that you don't work there anymore? No. So, like, you're like the ninth person to ask me that.

That was almost ten years ago. Still. Not at all. Trust me. I, a, it would have.

I would have gotten the boot a long time ago. COVID would have gotten me the boot if I didn't. If I probably would have stayed.

So, no. I'm no. The answer to your question, absolutely not. Especially knowing the shit that they went through to do all this stuff. Yeah, I think winning the World Series is a lot more fun for the fans than the employees.

Yes, we got to buy more gear just so Mark can pay these people overtime. Ah, dude, the gear that I'm buying. Yeah, what do y'all have? Ah, okay, so I have this. I have this gray.

I have this weird like the balls coming. It looks like it's coming out of a volcano. Kind of, it's all. It's in color. It says champions.

It's the first thing I bought. Oh, who won on Saturday? Edgarcena Cena pinned Edge. Um, that's my Halloween costume. I have a baby blue shirt.

Thanks for the question, champions. I had I ordered. It's on the way. the The sweatshirt that they were all wearing in the parade. I got the long sleeve shirt of that.

I just ordered it two hours ago.

Okay. And I got the papers coming.

Okay, can you still order that? I just did tonight.

Okay, where can you get JS Online? It was like USA Today merch shop or some shit.

Okay. Um. Then my buddy has the shirt.

So my buddy, uh, I got a hat with the trophy on the front and the Brewer logo. Brewers, yeah, yeah. My buddy ordered shirts. Listen to this. He ordered shirts the week after we went up two nothing on this.

I forget the site, but he was going to get it if by chance he would have had it for game six. And he said I was going to bust it open if we won. They were already making. They were already making it. Yeah.

How could you have ordered it? He did. You could order a World Series champion shirt, not not the one that the team was wearing or anything. It was like a custom made something. Oh, yeah, but it said Milwaukee Brewers champions and had the trophy on it.

Whatever, nothing official, but was it on like like T. Eighty fourth and Leighton? I don't know. Um, and then and then there's all these shirts with like there's the one with Contreras, you know, with his arms up. And one with Cheerio, and we won our way.

I'm getting everything.

So I people, my family started asking me, "What do you want for Christmas?" I said, "Anything that says Brewers and World Series champions." So, yeah, but everyone's gonna buy the shit for themselves. Every like, I was thinking, oh, what a great Christmas! We can just buy Brewer stuff for each other, but no one's waiting to buy Brewer stuff. I know. No, I said order it now, and let me know what you let me know what I'm getting, so I don't go and buy it.

I got to get the journal book that like. I want to get a Crosier hat. The koozies look cool. The lanyards look cool. The pins, everything.

Are you going to buy a jersey when I have the gold lettering next year? Oh my god, I can't wait for that! Yes, like that's an opening day next year. What's it going to take for you to watch a Bucks game, other than the one I'm going to watch with you in two weeks? I don't know.

It's going to take a lot. What did you do tonight? I was watching some stuff I was catching up on from last week. What are the shows you watching? Don't worry about it.

Law and Order, the main one, Special Victims Unit. We're like two seasons behind. Ooh, we were going good, and then I started working nights, which meant. We never had time to watch TV, and now, now I I just I love sports so much. I said, "Shut up, wife!" Entertainment.

Every time I see Mariska, I think about the Knicks playoff run. You probably got a big crush on Rollins, huh? Nice. The thing about SVU, like the last five years, is they always like bring in some spunky woman detective, and then she leaves. That's her seven episodes.

They've done that like they've done that like five times. Yeah.

Why are they doing that? Because they can't find anyone. Is my one guy still in there? The rich guy that just wants to be a cop. The rich guy.

Yeah, he's like uh, he's I don't know, he's the white guy. He talks cool, man. He's like cool man, guy. Oh, there it is. I'm sorry, I'm reading.

Join me and you. Yeah, at the bottom. People got to. Yeah, yeah. I got to put that in my calendar.

November 18th. What is that? It's a Wednes. Two Wednesdays. Six.

Two Wednesdays. Beautiful. I'm in. You better be, and you're the draw. No, I'm not.

Please. Um. Yeah, I like the merch. I like it all. Just.

Give it to me all.

Okay, clarify. I meant Amanda Rollins. Amanda Rollins, not Ryan. Ryan Rollins. Amanda Rollins, the fictional character on Law and Order SVU, not Ryan Rollins, the fictional basketball player on the Milwaukee Bucks.

So I was having this debate with my buddy. Let's say the Brewers would have lost the World Series, which is funny to say. Would you have all the merch that you bought that just said World Series or NL Champs? Would you have burned it, or would you have got never worn it again? Would I have burned it?

Because that's what he said. He said, "Thank God the Brewers won the World Series.

Now I don't have to get rid of all my shit." Well, the sweatshirt, I would have worn all the time. The blue one. Yeah.

The October one. Yeah.

The hat that says World Series. No, I probably would have thrown. I have I have two hat depots in my home. One is upstairs. The top drawer of my dresser is all just hats.

I open it up. Hats on hats on hats, and then the other is down here. Shit hats. Would can I indulge you and let's look at my shit hats? Yeah, why not?

Let's. I mean, we're at that point. I told you, if I ever come onto these shows during the Bucks games, it's going to be towards the end.

So, okay, I'm gonna. I I hope I and I really do hope lawn mowing and outside projects.

Okay. Well, one's got one's gotta be that that turquoise or whatever aqua color brewer hat now, right? Yeah, I can't hear you right now, so I'm just gonna talk to myself. I'm actually gonna read the comments. David Shepherd.

Yeah, why does this guy want to look Shepherd so much? Why don't you put a big picture of David Shepherd on your pegboard wall?

Okay, USA World Cup hats retired. I'm not retiring the Aqua Brewers hat. It's too good. I like it. I do like it.

We got a Milkman hat. Retired.

Well, the design it like pops out. Could be the only baseball we get for like three months next year.

So I know Simon. Simon loves the Green Brewers hat. That's upstairs. We have um, we have a Bucks hat that I think I'm going to bring out of retirement because I'm coaching basketball and my team is the Bucks. Oh, how did you draw that?

I don't know. So this is this is being saved, okay? I do not like David Shepherd. By the way, I don't like his voice. This is a white hat I bought for the Zach Brown thing.

Oh, I thought you were going to say when you went to the Penn State game. No, it's the Zach Brown band, right? Yeah.

So my baseball journey this year ended in Tampa and began at Miller Park for Sunday Night Baseball intro. Oh yes, I needed a hat that had no logo on it.

So this is a six dollar Walmart hat, and you're in the video too. I didn't think, Simon. Thank you, Simon. Thank you, Simon. Um, this I'm not quite sure.

I have. I have not one Doc Spiders hat, but two Doc Spiders hats, and by that I actually mean three Doc Spiders hats. What the heck? Do you remember when you interviewed Caleb Durbin? Oh, that's where my journey started.

Yes. Yeah, and then he got traded like two days later. I know it was literally like two days later. I have this hat that I wear when I shovel and snow blow.

Okay. Oh, these now these are some beat up hats.

Okay. All right, let's see these. We got the this hat I wore game six for the Bucks. Cause it says NBA Champions 2015, but there's no logo. This is a Warriors hat, but there's no Warriors logo.

So I wore this out when the Bucks at Bucks and Six. I wore this hat that said NBA Champions. Where people like, where did you get that?

Well, it says 2015. Oh, okay. Here are some beat up hats. Look at this Brewer's hat. Oh my God!

It has been. You need to wear that whenever Opening Day is next year. This is not vintage. This is all. These are all different stain marks.

That is disgusting.

So I wear this when I'm, like, mowing the lawn. Ugh, I'm gonna barf. This is under the same sort of thing, yeah. Bucks NBA Finals hat, and then I did sadly retire this hat, which was a real staple these last two years. My 43 Thanasis hat.

So, those are my retired hats. Thanks for watching. I'm not a big hat person. I've like four, but see, this is I bought this after the Bucks won. I made sure I got a, I made sure I got a Bucks championship hat, and now look at it.

Yeah, but you're gonna treat that brewer on with care. The trophy one, I will. Yeah, yeah. That is disgusting.

It's like purple. This is just sweat. There's. This is not dirt. This is not grime.

This is just sweat. Isn't that gross? It's still like kind of soggy, even. You should put it on like Facebook Marketplace. Winkler versus gay worn hats.

Yes. I should. All right. Well, that's enough of that.

So again, come for the bucks and then stay for the whatever. No, I've tried washing hats; it hasn't worked out. I've done the dishwasher thing. I've done it where you buy like a hat rack for the dishwasher. And I like when the hats shuffle.

I like to look at. I like to look back on old videos of me and see what was on the wall, what era were we in, and what era of hat was I in. That's what I like to do.

So, like this era of hat. This was. I mean, this was a big. This is a big hat for a while. Forty three.

You know. All right. And then there's this.

Well, which if I I thought I was looking at Taylor Jenkins tonight, I'm like the way he blends in the shave to his beard. Why don't you do that? And he doesn't shave the whole thing; it still goes up a little bit. Are you? I might try to go Taylor Jenkins.

I might look more like Taylor Jenkins than I ever did, Bud. Are you planning on going to a Bucks game this year? Absolutely. I I just I I started looking at games tonight for my kid with my kid.

So you'll go on like those Sunday afternoon games or something.

Well, I mean, they just leave in the third quarter. It's not like they're going to win. Where was the game? Oh, it was in Boston. Yeah.

Oh, that's the other thing I want to mention. Tatum didn't play. Yeah.

Because that's. That's what's happening now. We're the team that people rest their starters against, and they can get away with it at home. But like, I don't think Steph's playing here. I don't think LeBron's playing here.

I don't think KD's playing here. Pick a team. Shea's not playing. These guys aren't going to play here. Shea might.

Luca won't. Deionis. That would be funny. Deionis, yeah. I'm gonna go watch that idiot.

Hey, good to see you. Yeah, always a pleasure. My pleasure's yours. I'll talk to you Sunday after the Packer game. That sounds good.

Feel free to text me anytime this week. Are you doing another Bucks?

Okay, not just during the week. They play Friday against Toronto. I do like how that keeps changing the. Board over your shoulder, the shame frame. The shame frame.

Yes, I do like how you put your raised towel there.

Now, I thought that was a little unique. I've never seen where they put a player on the player. Yeah, and he was the starter that game. I wish they would have made them different colors so we could see the difference between. Because I'm sure a lot of Brewer fans brought their rally towels.

Oh, you know. Oh, you're thinking of people that went to Milwaukee and Tampa? Yeah.

Oh, Simon! Jeez, Simon! Thank you. Bring back the old '90s purple here. That's another thing they were wearing those black jerseys.

I didn't love it. I kind of want to see new jerseys now that Giannis is gone. Are they getting new like city edition or anything this year? I don't know. Look how big my forehead is.

I'm gonna go search what brewers are riding around town tomorrow. Yeah, I'm gonna go search Riley Reed. I'm gonna find. I know somebody.

Somebody that I know saw Contreras at the airport today.

So he's gone. He's gone.

Okay. My brother saw Matt Arnold. I mean, you know, he's here, but. Was he just like lifting weights down by the beach? He said he was driving.

He must have just gotten gotten to Starbucks or left Starbucks. And he said he had his hat on backwards. He drives. He's a backwards hat kind of guy. Yeah.

All right, Shay. I wonder if he runs into Craig Council ever. Which, by the way, I wonder where he is. All right. Aren't you from his hometown?

Go find him. I don't live there, though. Not gonna go like search for him and be weird like that. Oh, your childhood friend Mary says hi. Oh, tell her I say hi next time you run into her.

She's get she's getting all the gear too. All the she just had her birthday the other day. You should say happy birthday. Happy birthday, Mary.

Well, why don't you text her? I don't have her number. Clip that and send it to her.

Okay. All right. All right. Okay. Them.

Okay. Them.

Butte. All right. Thanks for stopping into the Winkler verse. Go Braves. Snoring, gasping for air during sleep, daytime sleepiness.
