710-4ISN is the number. That's 888-710. Four. I S N before we say Goodbye. Cyanara.

Good reddance. Osluego.

Well, they know see you later. Bye. Peace. All of the things. And we got some guests who are going to come through and join us.

My main man's shop, yeah. Yeah, one of my favorite producers, Shep, is gonna come through and join us, okay? We got to see where Marco Belletti is. I don't know where Marco is, a newsman, running around with his kids, okay? My main man, Stu Kovacs, he helped uh Introduce me to everything going on here at the network.

I think we may have Stu on in a few minutes. Ryan Hickey's missed the popularity. Ryan Hickey is very busy. I don't know where Ryan Hickey is at. And we got all we got Bacher, he's here.

Bacha's been good for the year as well.

So we got a lot to get into. 888-710-4ISN. That's eight eight eight seven ten. Four I S N It is the final JR Sport Brief Show. Here.

On the Infiniti Sports Network. And no, no, no, people have been asking me in my personal life. People have been asking me on the airwaves, Well, you mean for the year, right? For the year No, no, not for the year, not for twenty twenty five. This is the final JR Sport Brief Show on the Infinity Sports Network ever.

I mean, damn it, by the time you get to Sunday and Sunday flips to Monday, there will be no Infinity Sports Network. It's done, it's over. And so yeah, me, I'm a part of that over. I'm done, I'm finished. Get to go back to doing all the fun digital stuff that I was doing.

Find out where you can find me at. JR Sport Brief. And oh, yeah, by the way. Have been some sports going on, I'm sure you know, right? In Sunday night football.

Y did you watch last night? Baltimore Ravens, it's like, oh, these aren't the Ravens that I know.

Now you got Lamar Jackson running around with a back injury. Not fun. Tonight. Speaking of backs, we know old people deal with bad backs. We got the Colts and forty four year old Philip Rivers taking on the Forty Niners.

49ers should. Handle business, and so we'll talk about that. You know, I'm going to go through some of my uh My favorite calls and And callers over the years will do that. Before we get out of here last week, I gave you a new top six list. We talked about some of my favorite interviews, Kobe Bryan and George Foreman, those were some of the top interviews, but today I want to.

Focus in on the callers.

So we'll be playing some of your calls. We'll be taking your calls. By the way, DK Metcalf for yoking up that fan yesterday. Bach, what do you get? A two-game suspension?

Yeah, two games, and not even it's like the two games in the most critical point, making the playoffs, and then you lose $560,000. Is it a yeah. And I mean, we we don't know what was said. Chad Johnson says, oh, he said something racist to him. You know, it's other people saying, Oh, well, he's always there and he's talking crap to everybody.

It don't matter. You can't yoke up a fan. You cannot do it. And so, boom, DK Metcalf, a two-game suspension as the Steelers. Trying to stay above 500.

They're getting ready to take on the Ravens. They're trying to win the division. And you got DK Metcalf out here yoking up a fan. What Uh World. What a world.

Anyway, we got a lot of people that we want to talk to throughout the course of the evening, this afternoon. 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710. For ISNS is. the final JR Sport Brief Show here on the Infinity Sports Network.

Bacha, how the hell are you doing? You good? I am falling apart. Technically. You okay?

I woke up Saturday morning with no voice. Uh So yeah.

Well, you sound good. You drinking tea? Nope, no tea. I have a coffee next to me, but I haven't touched it yet. Coffee?

Yeah, coffee. It's like the one free thing we get here. Free, we got tea. There's tea in the in the stew. Yeah, tea is better for you.

There's lemon and and and honey up there. I have not looked past the coffee that you run into the the break room, you know there's two big coffee pots. And I was like, do am I going to sit here and Make a tea with like a minute. You mean to tell Bill Belichick hiring Bobby Petrino as new offensive coordinator? Oh, my goodness.

You mean to tell me for the final show of the year. I can't even talk to you. No, I'm going to give myself the biggest. Oh, here we go. Oh, boy.

Here we go. Go ahead. Explain. I'm going to put myself on mute. No, go for 30 seconds.

No, go for 30 seconds. 30 seconds. That's okay. That's pretty good. Go, go.

Preserving my voice here. Uh in the best way possible. I am going to risk the betterment of my health. Whether that be a torn vocal cord or just a sore throat, probably most likely tomorrow. I am going to be here and talk the whole show and screen your calls.

So you get to talk to me, and then you get to talk to JR. I appreciate I appreciate your service and your sacrifice, okay? I appreciate you. It's really brave. I do.

I do. And you know what? He hit Botcher. Thank you very much. We worked together intermittently before you were offered and accepted the full-time job.

I'm sure that you had no idea outside of working with me what it would entail and what the full-on thing would be. And same for me. I've worked with enough producers, some great producers. And I I must say over time, I say over time. You know, I have enjoyed working with you.

I appreciate you. I think one thing that you have to appreciate when you produce is. You know, it doesn't have to feel like work. And I think we've gotten to the point. Unfortunately, this is where we are now.

It doesn't feel like work. And it's felt like that for a while now. I appreciate you. I thank you very much. And then, you know, we'll see what we can rock and roll or not rock and roll into the future.

So I appreciate you, Bacho.

Okay. I appreciate you, too. Also, there's a lot of people on hold, too.

So don't worry. But screw me, okay. No, no, no. Story of my life. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Story of my life. And nobody cares what J.R. thinks. It's just like, hey, no, I respect. What is it?

Officially six months? It's only been six months? Hell out of here. Yeah, June. Oh wow, okay.

So in these six months, I've learned a lot. And you have a whole different perspective, and it's probably a better perspective than most of sports radio. And I enjoyed it. Yeah, man.

Well, I I appreciate that. You telling me you're busy and I gotta shut up. He has a phone number. Oh, okay, okay, fine. Are you done?

You finished? I'm. Done for now. I'm going to have a sip of coffee. All right.

Well, you'll be here with me for the next three hours and 50 minutes, so we got plenty of time. 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710. 4ISN. Let's go ahead and hit the phone lines and You know, we'll talk about all the things going on in the world of sports.

49 is a colts, DK Metcalf, bunching a fan. We'll get to all these things on the final J.R. Sport Brief Show ever. Greg is here from Michigan. I think this is Mr.

Positive.

Some love 'em.

Some hate him. But here he is. Greg, you're on the JR Sport Reef Show. What's up? Oh, JR.

Oh. Love you, brother. Oh my God. I mean, where do I begin? You're fantastic.

You got a great heart. You're uh one of the real ones. It was because of Shep Baby and you and then our sizzle, Hickey. Oh my God, JR. and what you've did for the Olympics and the charity Ladies and gentlemen, this man is special This man has a great heart.

Oh, my God, Chair. Whatever you do, keep me informed because I'm going to have many ways to mention you from Cuomo to Stephen A. Smith, Yeah, to uh quite a few others. that um you know, if you know, it's just going to be Good stuff, and I'm going to make sure that your legacy, Al Bardo's legacy, Bart Winkler, and Shepherd's lasts. because you guys for the past five to seven years that I've been calling into Infinity Sports, Um like you said, some people love me, some people hate me.

But I can live with that. you're making a difference. That's what I want to do is make a difference. But JR do not quit being you and you just make sure that you don't give up on your dream Everyone has dreams. Like I always say, everybody go for your dreams.

But JR Love you. You're a great man. And um agents of what was it? Inclusion. There you go.

Oh, my God. This man's fantastic, you guys. I'm going to start crying, so you be good to yourself. And I'll see you around.

Well, thank you so much. Shout outs to Greg for calling from Michigan. Yeah, I mean, I'm not dying. It's not a funeral out here. You know, I I mean, I I came from online.

I'll be able to go back and do all the cool online things that I was doing for about 10 years before I ever got here. And then I can still continue to do radio in some capacity that I cannot discuss right now.

So I ain't got no complaints. Like it sucks to to move on and leave from here. Like I started in 2020. I was right damn near in a pandemic when I started. Before I accepted the job, there was no pandemic.

I've been here ever since, and so it is nice, okay? I've done local radio in New York, I've done local radio here in Atlanta, I've done sports radio, I've done hip-hop and RB radio, I've done morning shows, I've done overnights. You know, I've I've been around the block. Not like Jennifer Lopez, but I've been around the block, okay? And so I appreciate everybody that I've ever connected with, everybody that I ever spoke to, but I'm not falling off the side of the face of the earth.

It's going to be something new here. But shout outs to my main man Pat Boyle. Pat Boyle will be here. with another gentleman. I don't know the gentleman's name.

I've never met the guy. But I like Pat. Listen, make sure you tune in. Eight at eight, seven ten, four I S N. That's eight at eight seven ten four I S N.

You know what, school list. Hey, my main man. My first producer here Helped baptize me, indoctrinate me into the Infinity Sports Network. My main man.

Now, I love this guy. This is my guy. And Stu Colvax is Hey, Stu, what's up, man? What is up, JR? I don't know if I'm going to follow up, Mr.

Positive, but I will do my best here. How are you doing, JR? I'm good. Hey, Stu, I'm happy that you were able to call in. I am forever indebted to you for you helping introduce me, get me set straight.

I could not have asked for a better partner. As I was introduced to a national radio scene, it's one thing to do local radio, whether it be in New York or elsewhere. It's another thing to do morning show radio. It's another thing when you gotta talk for four hours by yourself. And I could not have asked for a better partner, a better teammate than you.

uh to just get things settled and started, especially being the fact That we were in a pandemic, where there was not a damn thing going on.

So I think I've shared this with you in person. I think we've sat down and ate or drank or whatever the case, but I will say this in a much more public forum. Thank you so much to you. You helped make this transition and the start of everything so easy. My man forever.

Oh, I appreciate that, JR. And yeah, it's crazy. I remember when we started. There was basically nothing going on for the first few months, and we were we were doing those late nights of the 10 to 2 Eastern time slot and We got a lot of calls. The audience was a big part of it.

I remember a lot of the shows we did. I mean, we did like full phone lines on pandemic stuff and when we were expecting sports back and just all these type of wild stories, the last dance, the documentary, the both documentary. I remember doing so much of that. But I appreciate the kind words, JR. And you were an absolute pleasure to work with.

I love that we were able to get the show running and get it off the ground. And obviously, there were a few other people after me that helped as well. But yes, it was a pleasure working with you. And you are certainly one of my favorite hosts I've worked with. I will say that without a doubt, JR.

Well, thank you, man. And, you know, when I get back to New York, I look forward to connecting. We rock and roll, you know, things, everything, life comes in cycles. It's here, it's there, it's up, it's down. Hey, working with you was certainly an up.

And I mean, in some capacity, some way, you know, who knows? Maybe one day we work together, whether it's on a radio or in another space, man. You might be one of the first people I give a holla to, man. You're great, Stu. Thank you so much.

I appreciate that, Shara. Thank you so much for including me on your last show. It really means a lot to me. I'll catch you soon, Stu. I'll catch you.

Thank you, man. Take care. Yes, of course, JR. No doubt about it. Shout out to my main man, Stu.

Kovacs. It's the guy right there. Stu was my first producer here on the Infinity Sports. He set this whole, you know what up. It was Stu Kovacs that it By the way, Stu Kovacs could run a whole station if necessary one day, okay?

I put that out there. He can run a whole station by himself. He knows what the hell he knows everything. Everybody's doing it. He knows what the hell's going on.

He's a boss. 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710-4ISN. It is the last of the final JR Sport Reef show ever, not just for 2025, but forever. Eight eight eight seven ten four I S N Whatever your social media platform is of choice, you want to know where I'm going, what I'm doing next.

At JR Sport Brief, Twitter, X, TikTok, Facebook, Black Planet. MySpace. Black people meet. Yeah, all the black people. 888-710-4ISN.

David is calling from Buffalo. What's up, David? Hey, JR, man.

Sorry to see all you guys go. You guys did a great job with Infiniti Sports, CBS, Sports Radio. You guys were awesome. Always love calling into your guys' show. And hopefully, we see you guys somewhere else because you guys are all the guys that are leaving are really talented.

So going to miss you guys for sure. But quick thought on the bills, man. I just hope this is the year we can finally do it. I don't trust Sean McDermott. I don't know if we have much of a passing game.

I feel like it's all on Josh Allen and James Cook. And I feel like our window is always going to be there as long as Josh is our quarterback, but we got to develop this team around him a lot more. Yeah, well, you're gonna find out over the next month, okay? You got it, man. Yeah, well, I'll I'll stay in touch with the buddy.

And are you on YouTube as well? I know you mentioned some other stuff. Yeah, I'm every yeah. I started my whole life on YouTube. Yes.

Shout out to my wonderful friends at Google. Yeah. Awesome, dude. I'll follow you there and looking forward to it, man. And yes, I'm looking forward to seeing where you're going next because, like I said, all you guys do a hell of a job there and I'm going to miss you guys and calling in here on this network.

Well, thank you so much, David. You be well from Buffalo, okay? Yep. Have a good Christmas, buddy. No doubt.

Peace out to David from Buffalo. 888-710-4ISN. That's eight at eight seven and ten four I S N. Let's go to Chicago. and talk to Jim.

Jim, you on the JR Sport Breeze show, what's up? Hey, J.R., how are you, man? I'm amazing. How are you feeling?

Okay, okay. Just a couple of things. Your last show here and God bless you and everybody at Infinity's and CBS Sports Network over the years. You guys did a one hell of a job. And it's like you said, it's a new beginning for all you guys.

And All the way down the line and uh excuse me. And looking forward to what's going to be coming up in the future. I follow you on the Twitter and some of the others, so keep up with you guys there. Uh NFL early, you know, you h make your picks early in the year. I p I had Buffalo and Detroit.

That's what I know. Mr. Positive always talks about those two teams. The Bills. Yeah, they're still in the mix.

Detroit, not so much. We'll see what happens. I'm going to be obviously rooting for the Bears here. They're on a roll right now, so we'll see what happens. What's your take real quick on that?

What do you think is the playoffs are looming? On what? The playoffs, man?

Sonia? Buffalo B Buffalo Bills. Los Angeles Rams. I don't know. Maybe the Eagles, maybe the Eagles over these next couple of weeks, they can continue to roll on.

We haven't heard so much from A.J. Brown over the past several weeks. Uh but I'm I'm feeling good about the Rams right now. And who knows who comes out of the AFC side of things? Is it the Bills?

Are the Chargers all of a sudden going to jump the gun? But I feel good about the Bills and the Rams. Sign me up for that Super Bowl. I'd watch that in San Francisco or Santa Clara. Sign me up.

Yeah, no doubt, no doubt. One last thing, I remember you said you mentioned it in your past you had done some work on NBA TV and so forth through the years. Yes. And that was quite that I'm Sean, I know that was quite the experience. And Way back in the day, I had some experience.

I've called you before, mentioned a long time, three years. I had some. A gig with the Chicago Bulls way back from 87 through 94 in their first repeat run, running the Audio at the old Chicago Stadium, all the music and sound effects. That was a blast. And, you know, that's just that whole thing.

And I know you mentioned that the one person you never had a chance to interview was MJ. But, you know, you never know, man.

Something might come around and that still could happen. It could, but let me tell you something, Jim. It ain't no life goal.

So, to be honest, and this sounds crazy. And even professional goal. Like I don't care You know, like I never sat down and said, Oh my god, I need to talk to Pele, oh my god, I need to talk to Kobe, or I need to talk to LL Cool J, Kevin Art, or Snoop Dogg, or Michelle Obama, or Steph. It was never a goal.

So. Everything that I've been I've been able to do is it's like a It's like a cherry on top. And so, if I talk to Michael Jordan one day, great. But if I don't, I could care less. I mean, he's a huge.

And this is my approach to everybody that I've ever spoken to. I talk to people like they're humans. I don't care who you are. 'Cause you're going and it sounds very morbid, excuse me, everybody's going into the ground just like I am.

Okay, Michael Jordan might have had a bunch of B's and M's in his bank account, not in his name. But that's always been my approach. And I think that's one of the reasons why things have always worked out is because I try to approach people as a human being. If I met Michael Jordan and Michael Jordan didn't want to act like a human, then I wouldn't talk to Michael Jordan. It'd be that simple.

Jayman, I hear you. I appreciate you, my man. You know where to find me at JR Sport Brief. And feel free to be in touch anytime, okay? All right.

You have a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and God bless. You as well. Shout outs to Jim from Chicago and to all of Good Night. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you for the final time on the Infinity Sports Network. You want to call me up?

That's it at eight seven ten four I SN The final. JR Sport Brief Show ever. Tim is here from Arizona. You're on the JR Sport Ree Show. What's up, Tim?

JR, every time I put on the radio and I listen to you, you make me laugh like I've never laughed before. And I'll give you the one instance which will always stay with me. A few years ago, you and Zach Gale were doing the NFL draft. Yes. And Zach was saying something about the players, and then it was your turn, and you said, Well, you know, there's just so many bums you got in this draft.

And then right away, you corrected yourself and you said, well, there's different degrees of bums and you gave the different degrees. And I laughed full heart. And I'll never forget that. The other thing that before. I remember that, by the way.

I remember that, by the way. That was in Las Vegas, I believe. Yes. Yes. Yes.

You're fantastic. And every day, I always picked up a new word or anything.

So even today, even long maybe after you're gone from here, I'll hope to catch you at some radio station. But I use the one term you always say when it's time for somebody to get going. The boot. Give them the boot. And I'll never forget that.

So I just want to say best of luck in the future. I'm going to miss you, but hopefully you'll turn up somewhere and make the big money like you're making right now. Best of luck in the future there, J.R. I miss you. Bye-bye.

Hey, thank you, Tim. Bye-bye from Arizona. He's right. The boot. I mean, there's a few things that I've tried to make very prominent.

here on the show to make very clear If somebody's gone, they're getting of the boot. Absolutely. After tonight I am getting. The boots. I'm getting the boot and I'm walking out of here, okay?

I'm walking the hell up on out this place, okay? 888-710-4ISN. That's 8 at 8-710-4ISN. Final JR Sport Brief Show. Ever.

Brandon is here from right here, the state of Georgia. You're on the JR Sport Brief Show. What's up, Brandon? Brandon, you live on the radio, Brandon. Boom.

Yo, what's up? Uh-oh, he's on the toilet. This man is on. I know. You were on the toilet.

No, you. Listen, I've been doing radio long. You were on the toilet. Okay. You own it.

Yeah, John Nigga branded from Rome, Georgia, so you know where I'm at. Oh, you were in Rome? Yeah, you were I know Rome, yes. Yeah, you smith. I just want to tell you, man, I've been following you since the early two thousands.

Oh, my God. I called you a couple of times, but never got through. I cannot believe it. I got this is Q T V. I just want to say the same thing, they're blessed and merry Christmas.

Yeah. Oh all those good fans out there western around the world and just only got one sports question, J.L. What is it? What's the qu what's the question? What is it?

I'm a I'm a good fan. A bears? You said the bears? The bears? The who?

No. I'm a Falcons, a Brazilians, and a Hulks fan.

So you like all the birds.

Well, Trey Young sucks. The Falcons suck, and the other teams suck too. Yeah, they suck. Yeah, yeah. I was at one question, and I'll put some young snow shower, buddy.

But I do appreciate everything you've done for us and all the witnesses, man.

So, my question is: regarding the fountains, what did they need to do to get moving in the right direction? All right, see ya. I love you, man. Bye. Thank you, Brandon.

Peace out for calling from Georgia. Man, I've been in Georgia so long. I know everything that man just said. He said, What? That botchi, you know what he said?

He didn't even translate. Ah. He asked me what the Falcons need to do to move forward. I heard that part. I heard that part.

Raheem Morris needs to get. Ready for it? You ready? The boot. And uh the GM probably needs to get the boot.

And they also need to get a quarterback. And then when they have a quarterback, a GM and a new coach, the Falcons can move in a positive direction. And shout outs to the Falcons owner, Arthur Blank. I ain't gonna say no bad words about that man. I don't need nothing bad on that man about record.

That man will just be like, oh, JR needs what? No, no, I'm not giving that to that guy. But Arthur Blank is a very nice man. Shout out to Home Depot. That man helped found it home.

He helped found Home Depot. You got wood in your house. Shout out to Arthur Blank. Um Yeah, he's he's very nice and sometimes I think you need to be an ass. And he's just very nice.

And I think that sometimes clouds the Falcons from moving forward. The Falcons need a hard ass, not someone who is nice. That's it. 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710-4ISN.

It's the last. JR Sport Brief Show ever, not for the year. Ever. You will not hear me on the Infinity Sports Network. You will not hear me on CBS Sports Radio.
