This is a focus thing, right? I have to be better. No, I definitely knew it was fourth down. The Rich Eisen show. Earlier on the show, Pro Football Hall of Famer Kurt Warner.
Coming up, Bills tackle Dion Dawkins, Steelers defensive tackle Cam Hayward. Writer and producer Chuck Lorre, and now it's Rich Eisen. Hour number two of the Rich Eisen Show is on the air. In this hour, the Overreaction Monday podcast, Chris Brockman and I have put that up there, in there, out there for you on our YouTube channel or wherever you get your podcasts.
Or we have a a great no contest wrestling coming up on Wednesday. Imagine TJ with lots of stories about. You and O'Shea at Raw, yeah, on Monday night in San Diego. Did he send a picture of him with Roman Reigns to the whole group? Did he send that?
Yes, he did. Yeah, okay. We saw like right when we pulled up in the back, the first two people we saw were Becky Lynch and Roman.
So they fantastic. She came over and was like Tej, and I was like, "Isn't that great?" Look at that. That's pretty cool, DJ. That's pretty cool. Love that.
No contest wrestling coming on Wednesday. On that regard, eight four four two zero four rich number to dial right here on the program. Cam Hayward in his usual Tuesday spot. He's going off to Paris, Paris, to take on the Saints this week. And then Chuck Lorre is coming in here.
He's got a new book called Sitcom. It's his memoir, and he's sitting in a two and a half man, two and a half men director's chair next to a director's chair of young shell. And the Big Bang Theory, just some of the shows. Heard of them? I mean, spent a lot of time on that two and a half men set.
Yeah, I bet you did. Have you met Chuck? Yeah, okay. I mean, I don't know if he's. Is it going to be one of those hey moments?
He probably wouldn't remember.
Okay, but all right.
Well, he's coming in studio in hour three, joining us right now, fresh off of a week out here in Southern California, taking care of the Rams on a Monday night, and then hanging out and going to Las Vegas and taking care of the. Ravens now on a bye week at five and one. Part of Ravens Raiders on a bye week at five and one. Ladies and gentlemen, Deion Dawkins is back. How are you, Deion?
Good to see you. Oh, now what's up? What's up, crew? Is the W stand for the five wins that you have? Is that what the W is for on your hat?
W stand for whatever. Oh, okay. What's next?
Okay. Those are those are you went double Jamis on me right there with the with the double Jamis. You know, three Doves.
Okay. How's it going in your world right now? The world is fun. The world is fun of fun of snow, man. You know, it's always it's always something.
It's always something, and it's been going well.
Okay, two wins. We went to Cali. Yeah, came back with two does. What was what was going down in the? You were in Southern California.
You were in Orange County in between the two games. Is that what? Yeah. I think that that's like Orange County. They like they had a stay in in a what was it?
Newport, okay, Newport Beach. That is Orange County. Yep.
So Newport Beach, and it was beautiful. You know, like it felt like we were in like a GTA. Simulator, like everybody is just like in their glory life, driving around in beautiful cars, and just like wow, this is how people live all day, every day.
So yeah, Newport Beach is definitely something that is for video game. I hear you, but I'd imagine though, a week like that in between two wins is a massive. Team bonding experience. Am I correct in that? Yeah, like absolutely.
And I actually spoke spoke on that a couple days ago, or if not yesterday. A lot of people think like, "Oh, but the guys are out there; they're just you know vacation," you know. But realistically, it's like another week of camp, right?
So, coaches extremely hard on us. It's another week of camp, but. The guys are overly forced to be around one another, right? Like there was a mall across the street, so the guys were at the mall together. The guys were, you know, overly eating together—breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Like, like it was just a consistent of force of being around each other.
So I kind of seen it as it was a huge. You know, benefit for you know having basically an extra week of training camp, yeah, because the guys were all together, yeah. Because in the NHL and the NBA, and certainly in baseball, you know, road trips are extended. You know, they're extended road trips. And the NFL, you just hop a plane, you hang out in a hotel one night, you go play the game, and you go home.
Right? I mean, like that's essentially what it is in the NFL.
So to be able to spend a week like this. And it's not like London, where you know you're completely out of the mix time zone and everything like that. Again, I've heard from so many teams where you, if you, you know, knock on whatever this is for you and all the Bills fans that want to die happy, get to come back to Southern California for a game on Valentine's Day and get what you want. This is the sort of week where you can look back and say that was. That was a big moment for us, you know.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, well. Honestly, getting out there and you know, getting that winning vibe, right? The winning culture, like the winning, you know, mindset, the winning attitude, the the winning ambiance of being in California. It did a lot for us. It did a lot for us, and understanding right.
And at the Super Bowl, we'll be there in February, which is a February fourteenth was Valentine's Day. That's my son's birthday, so you know, planning to come back and celebrate a win for.
Sounds beautiful.
Okay, look at you. That would be a multiple purpose. Beautiful story, right? And by the way, Chris, write down for future fantasy team names: winning ambiance. Ah, yes, is a great fantasy football name, or or a cologne.
Do you put that on before games? Neon, winning ambiance? Nah, I'm less show. You know that's the skinny boy thing. That's that's that's what the skinny boys do, man.
Oh, cologne is for skinny boys. What?
Well, no, no, no. We're and we're talking about and before a game. Don't switch it up. We're like you said. Do I do that and before games?
No, I do not. But me, I always smell good. I always smell good. I have to.
So like when I'm meeting people. People like, oh my God, Dion! That Dion guy, he, he, he smelled very, very good. You know what I'm saying? But you don't put on too much.
Where after you've left, I smell Dion Dawkins 15 hours later. Not too much. 100. You will smell me like downstairs. Like you'd be like, "Oh, Dion's here.
Dion's here." Yes, he is. Yes, he is. And and and he's not the yo because like. You know, in life, bro. Like, as a bigger guy, right?
And I'm gonna just talk about an elevator life, right? If you get in an elevator and there's people in the elevator, and there's some smell in the elevator, and you're like, "What's that smell?" and everybody's like, I don't know, and then it's just like, all right, who who do we think stinks? They're gonna think it's the biggest dude.
So me, I'm like, come close to me, smell me.
Now you know I'm not the stinky one in the room.
So I'm cool with that. I can't be no stinky big dude. You can't be a stinky big guy, and you better have three or four, five, six, seven, eight sprays on before you leave the house. Cause then cha cha cha cha cha. Interesting, interesting.
That's what it's like being a big, a big. Human is people assume you are not you're you're the guy who smells, bro. And I'm a I'm gonna put you on a a little gym, please.
Okay, please. As a bigger guy, like I'm six five, right?
So like the average height of people is like kind of like. It's kind of like, yeah, armpit level. Yep.
It's kind of like right here, like, like, like, like chest level, right? Chest level.
So you get a nice line right across the chest. That's where everybody's nose is at. Yeah. What I'm saying.
So you walk past. It's like interesting. By the way, I I like the biggest guy, the tallest guy on our show. You're the one you you understand the armpit level situation.
Well, I probably own the most cologne on this show, so definitely filling him. Fantastic, Dion.
Okay, it's like that James Bacquerat Rouge, a littleventus Creed. Do the James clip where he was doing twenty sprays in the background, Dion. You know what I mean? Yeah, that's right. I do.
And then you got to do three sprays out in the air and walk through it. Oh, that's the way. That's the way to put on cologne. You don't put it directly on the body, right? Yeah, you do put it in the ether, and then you walk through.
It's like walk through it. Yeah, it's like you're going through a metal detector. There's this cat on TikTok who says you got to have a 100 sprays a minimum, and I was like, that's a little 100. 100 sprays is crazy. And he sits there and and we'll go through the whole body yet.
Yeah, he's he smells horrible. I could not be around him. That is a no go. That's that is too much. What?
That's 100. That's too many. Too many. That's too many. But it's like six, seven, eight.
You know, this is what happens. Minimum when you talk to Dion Dawkins. Everybody. How are things different with Joe Brady in charge now, Dion? Uh, Joe Brady.
He's like I always give like the aura of like he's just younger, man. Like he's just younger. Like like it's just like having you know. To some younger man, like he's just a younger vibe, so he really speaks the same language as the players, but he also speaks the language of a coach, and to be able to cross that line where it's not weird, like where you're like, oh, you're just an older guy, you know, trying to be cool, like you're just a a. A guy that this is just who you are, day in and day out.
Like you don't have to adapt to learn how to deal with the younger and generation. You kind of understand it, and you know, in the world that we live in, right? It it really really sucks that I have to say this, right? Like. The new age of players that are coming into the NFL, right?
The new age of athletes that are coming across every athletic field, court, wrestling everywhere. They are drastically different from what it was before, and because they are drastically different, you have to learn how to speak that language or. You're going to miss out on good players, or the team is just not going to be what it's going to be because these younger kids, some of the older guys, but really the guys like coming in, and it's a young league. Like you have to learn how to, you know, be a young guy and kind of speak the way and that they speak and listen how they listen and you know understand that verbiage because. Like you'll get lost, and as a coach, if if you can't connect with your players, you know there's like that's a huge disconnect.
I'm gonna run the risk here. I'm gonna run the risk here and put a name to that. Is Keon Coleman? Is that what you're referring to right here? I mean, that is Brady and this team.
That is a great example, right? Like that is a great example, and I'm not saying that you know McDermott didn't know how to deal with that, but it's just.
Some things are like it just comes off smoother, right? Like you know, like some things, like you can understand and your brain can understand what's going on with the player when you're in the same realm of world, right? Like if one guy is coming from Africa and other guy is coming from like Antarctica, it's going to be hard to, you know, talk about. Wearing a jacket and being cold, where like you know, in one in one spot, it's just like yeah, it's hot all of the time, right? Like it's just two different.
Narratives of life where it's just like hot and cold or cold and hot, where everything is kind of we're already warm, speaking the warm language, and instead of speaking from cold to hot, if you kind of understand what I'm saying. No, I totally understand what you're saying. But you know, there's a difference between being an age peer or coming across as a peer when you're a coach, though, Dion. And and and in that regard, this week, you know, leading up to the game, it did sound like Joe. Brady was threatening James Cook's touches, Dion.
I don't know if you heard that soundbite. You know, and so how did that hit you, locker room? Anything else? I really see it. Like I didn't.
I didn't really see it.
So I don't. But I can only imagine. Like I know what and was said in the meetings. Like I know that we can't turn over the football and expect to win football games. Is the message?
So. You know, if you turn over the ball, it's it's tough to win games. It's hard to beat an opponent one on one with no penalties, with no faults, just a one on one battle. It's hard. Everybody's good, but now if you're beating yourself, penalties, fumbles, whatever else comes next, you know it's extremely hard.
So, James Cook. Is a champion, right? And he's a pro, and he's a pro, right? He's a professional athlete, and he understands what his role is and what it has to be for us to be who we want to be at the end of every season.
So he he he obviously fixed it. Like we seen how he ran two days ago. I think he had 153 game ball, no fumbles, right?
So. He's one game into being on the right path, right? And you know, as nobody's perfect, and in this league, and I always say this to Rich that like everybody wants everybody to be perfect all of the time, right? And realistically, we're still in the first quarter of the season, so everybody is still kind of getting their their kinks and their feels, and their everything is still kind of molding. To the player that they have to be throughout the duration of the season, so it's still early, right?
And we're just glad that it didn't cost us a football game, you know. And it caught us, and we caught it early. Lastly, I know this is going to sound like glazing, but I don't care. When Josh Allen does what he did, oh, he's crazy. But does he?
Does he know? Does he? Does again, like you know, the the shovel pass that normally goes thirteen inches, not thirteen yards in the air. Does he know how good he is, Dion? Does Josh know how good he is?
I think Josh. I think, I think Josh knows how good he is. I think every day he he kind of gets a shocking like.
Well, I I guess I'm a lot better than what I was yesterday because he gets better every day. But. I don't know. Like that's a that that's a real question for Scally. But you know, like I had to tell him like on the sideline, like after that play, I said, "Josh, I try to be as normal as I can around you because I want you to be." Free and be comfortable, and let your guard down, and just be one of the guys.
I said, but Josh, I said on the sideline before we're going into the next series, I said, Scally, I said, Scally, bro, I said. I was never really on the bandwagon because I'm your brother and I'm your older brother, but I'm on the bandwagon now, kid. That was some crazy stuff. He chuckled and he was like, "Yo, thanks, doc. It means the world to me, bro." And then we just trotted on the football field.
Like, I'm just like, "Yo, this is this is this is some crazy stuff, man." But To be able to be around great guys like that, right? Like, and I know he can say the same thing about me, right? But to be able to do things and and just witness certain things, it's just like, bro, I am thankful to be who I am in this world right now. Because as we are all seeing, we are all seeing some something crazy in in front of us in time, and you know, like it just humbles you to just take a second back and just be like, wow, that's my quarterback. Yeah, love.
I I love that you put it that way. All right, I'll I'll bite here. Even though I'm usually like asking questions, I know the answer. Bite hard. Who's Scally?
Him, Scally Allen. You know, like look, right. Nickname for him. Look, look, right.
So everything is snow, right? This is this is this is this is my water. Yes, all right.
Okay, I have my own water. Everything is a. Everything is a schno.
Okay. Everything is to keep it, you know, keep it slight, you know.
So Josh Allen is Josh Scallen.
Okay. You know, he's he is he is Scally to me. That is that is my my nickname to him. And I walk in the locker room every day and I go Scally, and you know you put your hand up.
Okay. You know, man, it's good to have Scally on your on your side. That's Scally, man. He's unbelievable. Yeah, Scali Stallion.
You know he's Scali. Hey, so how are you spending your bye week? Before I let you go, what do you got, brother? You know I have. That's a great question because it changes every year.
It changes every year, and you know it's been a decade. I've been playing with the Bills for a decade, and immediately when I was younger, I was like, "Yo, I want to go to Florida. I want to go on vacation. I want to go to Bahamas. I I just want to get up and go." But You know this this bye week.
I said, man, I just want to be in buff. Like I'm gonna just sit back. I'm a, I'm a, you know, pop the cap, sit back and vibe. And I'm gonna just drift my drift cars and and vibe out with the family and just just just just stay put. You binge watch shows.
So what you doing? What are you on? Uh, we we do binge watch shows. What are you watching? What are you watching?
Diana definitely um has me on. We're we're watching the Snowfall Saga.
Okay. The Snowfall. The Snowfall. Good one, TJ. It is.
That's that's actually crazy. But yeah, it's the Snowfall Saga. Uh, I think it's called the Drop.
Okay. And you know, and we just been vibing. Yesterday, we went to the movies. We seen Street Fighter, which I give a double thumbs and thumbs up. I was impressed.
I was like, "Yo, this this is dope." But yeah, vibe out, drift cars, family, kids, day day. You only put one snowboarder. You only put one thumb up when you said double thumbs up. I mean.
Okay, there. The other one got stuck.
Okay, okay. The other one got stuck, man. It got stuck. They got stuck. You know her?
Okay, great to see you, Deon Dawkins. Let's do this more often. Congrats on the start of the season and and keep doing what you're doing. Love is love, y'all. I appreciate y'all.
Right back in, enjoy that Cali weather, man. Ladies and gentlemen, stay healthy. Deon Dawkins, right there. I love that. He just says to him, "Hey, that was amazing.
Hey, thanks." I love the fact stories like that. The fact that he's like he doesn't want to like hype him up too much. You know, he doesn't want to let him know how doping he is until something like that happens, and he's like, "All right, look, I can't." Here is what I think is happening, if I may. Josh Allen knows how good he is. I mean, he better.
Josh Allen knows exactly how good he is. He just doesn't tell you that. No, it's not important for him. To say the words to anybody or give off the aura to anybody, he is the same guy, the same guy as he's always been, and that's the beauty. That's that's the beauty of rooting for him.
That's why the Western New York Bills Mafia fans are so lucky. Is because he's great. He's all time great. I would love for Bills fans to get the trophy. I'd love for him to get the trophy.
That everybody that does a job like this, that has a topic bar at the bottom of the screen or a split screen, that's always saying "yeah," but when it comes to Josh Allen, I'd love for that sort of validation to come in the form of the Tiffany Trophy. Because that's all that's left. Yep.
Pretty much, well, getting to the game and then winning it, and being the guy who did it. Look at Jalen Brunson; how life has changed for for him. And he is, in a way, a guy. It's not like he had to bounce around and nobody, and he he was hired by another team. Like Brunson, just kind of make that analogy of Knicks fans can now quote unquote die happy, right?
As they would say, "What downstate." But this in Western New York, I used to call it Upstate, and I have been corrected multiple times before I finally got it right a couple decades ago. But that's the beauty, as I think Josh Allen knows exactly how great he is. But it's not important for him to walk in the room and be told it, or. Have to give off that aura of you pay fealty to me, otherwise we can't talk. And that's his accessibility.
It's all like dreamlike. And you know, in this world, there are some people who it's important to them to be told how great they are. And can't have anybody around them that tells them anything but. And Josh Allen is the exact opposite in this world right now, at the forefront of a team that really, really, really enjoys playing with them, as you heard Dion Dawkins say. That's his beauty too.
He's like life is great. You're my quarterback. He makes others around him better and feel good. And that's also not just the people in helmets and in his locker room. It's little kids looking for an autograph.
That's his greatness. Eight four four two zero four. Rich number to dial right here on the Rich Eisen show. We got. Overreaction Monday and a Tuesday coming up.

Alan in Austin, Texas. Let's take his call. What's up, Alan? Hey, Rich. How are you, Alan?
So I have a yeah.
So I have a couple of points about the commanders' please do situation show because I agree they're fault on both the quarterback and the coach.
So awareness and accountability.
So for Jaden, awareness. I think there needs to be like a code word or a hand signal on fourth downs. You know, maybe something like take five.
So it's just like he's playing. Allen, a good one. Maybe he's flashing him the open hand five. Oh gosh, look at you! Look at you!
Don't stop. You know something that resonates because of the whole LSU situation. He thinks there's a fifth down. Keep going, Allen. To keep going.
I mean, you're right there in the home of the Longhorns. Keep going down. Keep going down, Dan.
So as far as Dan Quinn goes, it's more accountability because, in my opinion. He told a bald-faced lie, and I say bald. Intentionally, because let's be honest. Careful, he would fit well on the Titans' coaching staff, right? Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Ladies and gentlemen, Alan in Austin is just—he's just coming correct. And I appreciate you being here on the WeatherTech Fan Line. Thank you, Alan, for your fandom and and for calling in with your opinion. I like that. For American-made floor liners and a cargo liner that laugh in the face of fall weather, visit WeatherTech.com.
Today, you know, John Boy has chimed in on the lip reading of that moment. He thinks he thinks that Dan Quinn said, "Is that a? It's that that is that a first down?" Oh, not correct. He's just like field goal. Is that?
And then basically, no. He goes, "Is that a first down?" Like, oh no! It's and that's when he then drops an f bomb. Got it. But the bottom line is, it's still like whoever's getting in his ear saying field goal.
You know, can't be screwing this up. What are we doing? It still just made no sense. First of all, to throw the ball out of bounds at all, but we don't need to keep revisiting that. There's one other thing I want to bring up from from this game and this weekend's events.
Replay assist. You know, I'm very pro replay and replay assist. Very pro, and I have been saying for years, four years, replay assist is there. If there is a helmet-to-helmet contact or a 15-yard roughing penalty in the field of play, and you can see on replay that ain't it, that you should use replay assist to tell the officials at the site, pick the flag up. That's not 15 yards.
That should be used like that. And last night. It seems like they didn't use replay assist at all for the moment where Fred Warner lit up Chad Chigaconquio. They flagged it and then picked it up, and then the replay shows a hit so violent, face mask to face mask, that if this was college, Warner would have been ejected for targeting, and they picked it up. How do they not?
Once, listen. I don't know what the mechanics are. They should be flag for this type of stuff. The officials get together. Let's talk about it.
And New York should chime in to say that's the flag. Good job, or pick it up. Not good. Pick it up. They'll never put a flag on the field.
Via replay assist in the NFL because that opens a Pandora's box. I don't think anybody wants to go down. Oh, plays over. I my team just scored a touchdown. My team just got a first down, or my team just got off the field defensively.
Somebody who's sitting in New York City that we don't see chimes in and says, "Nah." Everything you just saw on the field of play, everything you just saw with celebrating, is not the case. You don't want that. Nobody wants it. I don't think the NFL will ever go there, but they have gone in the direction of replay assist to assist through replay whether a flag should that was thrown should be picked up. In this regard, and last night they either didn't get the replay assists help or replay assist fell asleep.
I don't know. How did that happen? And even worse, you know, even worse here in Los Angeles, Josh Wallace got popped for 15 yards to give the Cardinals the field goal position they were needing to essentially run out the clock and win the game on a hit that was flagged and replay assist. Didn't tell him to pick it up, and I don't care. Oh wait, top of helmet, grazed chin strap.
It wasn't. You could see on replay the intent. It was a collision. Yes, it looked violent in real time. Yes, but was it 15 yards?
No. And replay assist said, "You got it." I don't get it. This needs to be better. Replay assist should be utilized, and when it's not utilized properly, it it defrays their help. It defrays in the mind's eye of the viewer and fan whether they are helpful or not, and they should be helpful.
They are so many times. That guy was out of bounds six yards short. That's not a first down. That's this. That's that.
I like it. It moves things along. It saves a challenge from the official. You know, I think for me too, it would help with some more transparency. I know, like we're trying to keep the games moving.
We don't want three and a half, four hour games, so they do a lot of these in the NFL in the commercial breaks. But over the weekend was the first time I really got some exposure to how the Big Ten's been doing it on Fox. Mike, shout out Fox. Yeah, like the transparency that they have with the referee talking to the replay booth and the official there with the assist is. I think would really benefit the NFL, especially for fans, to just be like, "What are they looking at?
What are they seeing? What is the discussion back and forth with the lead officials, and how are they coming to these decisions?" I agree. And it doesn't take that much longer where you're worried about the NFL games really stretching to that three and a half hour mark. You are, you are. It's phenomenal.
It is. It is fascinating. Several times in the Ohio State Indiana game, it was perfect. It's. I never.
I don't know why I hadn't paid attention to that, or maybe that was the first started. It's new. It was born out of what happened with Michigan.
Okay. Well, it was because I was confused at first. I'm like, wait a minute. I thought the audio was off. I'm like, everybody's doing this.
Big Twelve. It was awesome to hear how they came to those conclusions. Yeah, they're all fixed to the point now. We're the only people who don't know. The review answer are the people in the stadium, right?
Yes, we're we're in on it. And so the only people who are now surprised when the official makes an announcement are those actually physically there. What's cool at the UFL, we put it in the stadium.
So you hear Blandino or Pereira talking.
Well, with all due respect to the UFL, no, you are not doing that in any of these. No, no, Mike. Mike, I don't. You're you're a sound guy. Like when bands are playing and there's a hundred thousand people talking, you're not going to be hearing the back and forth between Rosemont, Illinois, and referee.
Like with all due respect, the UFL has a I get enough few people at the game where you can listen in like like a conversation. Um, but but It's cool. I will be. It is cool. I get it.
The NFL won't do it. They don't want the games as long as college football games, and I don't blame them. These college football games are stupidly long. They do not care. They want to jam it.
Fox needs to jam in one more thing from Urban Meyer that is definitely pro you Ohio State. Got to have that. No, I mean it's these games are so long. These college football games are so long. I call the game.
In Indianapolis, between the Steelers and the Colts, on NFL Network, and there was a massive replay coming, massive, and they immediately the crew rolled to break. Yeah, and I kind of i i sniped on the air, and I'm like, I wanted to see the replay process. It was such a massive call coming. I I definitely did not filter my comments, and I basically said, "Oh, that's right, the NFL wants us to go to break." And out of the twenty-something years that I've done, I I worked for the NFL and was told, "You say what you want to say." That there was no blowback during the lockout. I didn't get any blowback about saying something.
I heard about that comment. Really? You really? Yes. I heard about that comment.
Like, hey, what was that about? I heard about that one because they are so adamant. It means you know higher ratings. Honestly, do you want these games going as long as college football on Sunday? They're where the one o'clock, the one o'clock window now bleeds to to five o'clock in the afternoon.
No. You don't want like all of these one o'clock games coming down to it in the middle of the first quarter of the next window of games. You just not. You don't want it.
So they want to use the replay process as a as a spot to get the commercial breaks in. Then you find out how it comes out of the process after the commercial break, and now you're off and running again. And these games aren't taking up your entire day. Like that's that's the way they wanted. I totally understand about transparency.
You are a guy who puts a little bit of a taste on this, and I hate to be that guy, but there's too much money at stake, and you have so many people constantly thinking. I know it's a bit, but the script and the games are fixed, and this and that. Not you, obviously, they're not, but obviously, a little bit more transparency. I think when some of these big calls, when replay is involved, recording. Long way.
Record, play it back. The reason why, but but if if it's Mike, you're not going to record it and play it back. Like this is how they came to this process. I would explain it to people at home. What did I just say?
They're not going to. I know. And you're off to the next play. Oh, I. You're off to the play after that, and the play after that.
But hey, moments ago, this is why they came to this decision. Like that's just that's not going to happen. No, it just won't happen. They they they want to make sure that these games are in a timely fashion. Just ref it better in real time.
I know that's easy to say, and at the end of the day, if replay assist can be used, why are we not using it? Last night, Fred Warner lit up a Conquio, lit him up to the point where I bet you later on next week or whenever these things happen, he's going to get fined for that, and he got flagged for it, and they picked it up. And then we see the replay of oh god yeah that was a flap that was so flagrant that if he was back he played for BYU right so if he was back in college he had gotten ejected man watching this hit back you know he doesn't even bow his neck see what you hit right he lowers his head hits him with the crown of his helmet square in his ear hole and then compare that to Josh Wallace definition who got flagged and they kept it. And that 15 yards led to a game-ending field goal that allowed the card. I mean, Sean McVay is going to get apologized to again.
Eight four four two zero four. Rich, number to dial. We'll take more of your phone calls when we come back here. Overreaction Monday on a Tuesday. I don't think I'm overreacting.
Rich Eisen here. At Hyundai, the SUV trophy shelf is getting a little out of hand because U.S. News and World Report named Hyundai the best SUV brand. That's five out of six years with hybrid SUVs like the premium and capable Palisade, the adventure-built Santa Fe, and the tech-infused Tucson. Which means at this point, the shelf will need its own structural support system and a dedicated construction crew.

That was crap. That was garbage. This place sucks. Overreaction Mondays, Monday on a Tuesday. All right, Christopher, Overreaction Monday on a Tuesday, presented by Marriott Bonvoy.
He's on the air. What do you have over there? Let's do it. Happy Tuesday. Here we go.
Reacting to last night's game. React. I know they won. They're six and zero, but the Bevy. Of injuries will keep the 49ers from getting the one seed in the NFC.
Come on, man! Like, what year is it? It's like every year we have the same conversation.
Well, they weren't the one seed last. I'm aware of that. This year's going to be different. I say this is an overreaction. Yard Kittle saved the four shot right now.
They're six and zero. The defending champs are three and a half behind them. The team that everybody thought would be undefeated all season long is now four and a half behind them. The Vikings, they play the Vikings coming up. I believe that game's in Mexico City in the north.
That I think is that a Monday nighter? Is that no? Right? Is that on the family of networks? Does that mean that Pat might have to be hooked on Phonics for his his his?
His alternate cast. That is, and yeah, that's that's a week eleven back on a Sunday night. Pardon me.
So that looks exciting. At any rate, we can all learn Spanish. Mike Evans might be out for a while. I'm just going to say it. How many times do we see it?
We have a conversation. Overreaction. What else you got, Chris? I'm going to sit here and say that. Come on.
I think they're the best team in the NFC, and but a game like last night, I think the Chiefs get him. I think the Bills might get him on a game like last night. I think maybe Green Bay and Chicago get him. Right, your Patriots could get him on a game like last night. Agree with all of that.
Commanders didn't quit.
Well, it wasn't pretty early, but they did come back and ball in air with a chance to win at zeros last night. And I'm think I'm buying a little bit. Oh, you went up higher register. Commanders won't finish in last place in the NFC East. Oh, I don't think.
It's an overreaction, dude. They could be three and three right now, sitting atop the NFC East. The mistakes they made last night and against the Giants in overtime, instead of being one four and one, they could be three and three. And then we're talking about how far can they go? Are they back, etc., so on and so forth.
Sunny Styles is no joke, no joke.
Okay, now they lost Terry McLaurin for what appears to be a serious amount of time. You know. I don't think that's an overreaction. I do get worried every time Jaden Daniels gets hit that he's just gonna like fold. I don't know how the NFC East has become last year's NFC South right now.
You know where eight and nine could do it.
So seems like it. What else, Chris? Here's the deal. I'm just gonna say it. The Browns are four and two.
The Rams are two and four. Cleveland won the Miles Garrett trade. That's ridiculous. I think it's a cleared day right now. It may not even be about this year, too, Chris.
It might be about you know. Can we find out what Miles Garrett and Aaron Donald finally look like? I can't believe like it's going to be Week Seven. We still don't know. You know?
Yeah. I thought your overreaction would be Aaron Donald is regretting unretiring. I thought that's where you were going on.
Well, I think that's obvious. Is it? That's not because we don't know where we're going just yet. That's a reaction. I did.
I did see online yesterday somebody even. I thought even hotter than your overreaction Monday is that the Rams should tank the rest. Of this season, except they don't have a first tanking for a pick they don't have right. They'd be tanking for the Browns.
Some people, okay. Internet cut off.
Okay. What else, Chris? I would stake with the Rams. Hear me out. Devonte Adams is going to be out for a while.
Yeah, maybe two months plus. With him gone, the Rams should call the Cowboys about George Pickens.
Okay, okay. Because Jerry's not paying George. Is George the the G, or the T? I would say Ga. He's Ga because it's George, right?
Obviously, two G's in his. Which one is he? TJ? Is he the Ga or the T? I'm over this Ga thing, man.
Are you? I wish he would have called me. I just said, don't do this. Don't do this. I know you want to do it.
Imagine George Pickens with Puka Nakua. All right, and all them tight ends. Move on. No, not interested in that trade. I am not interested.
Wow. What else, Chris? The North Divisions are going to get six playoff teams. Ooh. Oh, I don't think that's an overreaction right now either.
Yeah. Well, I mean, they're all over five hundred in both divisions. Yeah. Yeah, they are.
So everybody in the both North divisions are over five hundred. With the last place teams being the three and two teams on a buy. Who are the two that don't make it? Right. If this is right, who are the two that are out?
Oh. No. Get out of here! I'm not, I'm not putting myself out there for that. This is called overreaction Monday, where you give me something to react to, whether it's over or under.
Okay. Why are you worried about putting yourself out there? It's not that because I'm because you know I want to get more of these. Life's about choices, as Brockman said. I know it's about.
I got it. You told that to Morgan Freeman. I did. I. Good lord!
Let's talk about Tenerity. I regret that. I regret that. You're lucky I was. What else?
A lot of talk about this guy, and you know whether he's going to be the star. Or not, Arch Manning will be playing somewhere other than Texas next year, and it won't be the NFL. Orlovsky, basic, you did you get that from Orlovsky's post this morning? No, that he should stay in school and not at Texas. Says Dan Orlovsky.
Oh, great minds! Wow, I don't think this is an overreaction. You want him in Michigan next year? Um, let's see how Tommy Car plays, buddy. Yes, we got our own.
We don't need to go shopping somewhere else for somebody expensive. We've already done that. How's that worked out so far? Force. I'll let you know what the group chat, the fan chat, says about Archibald Manning.
Hold on, let me. You want to? You want to? You want to make Syracuse? Yeah, thousand percent.
Exactly. Of course, of course I do. Come to Penn State. You want to make Penn State, Florida State, or Oregon? Oregon.
By the way, Oregon's done really well. IUP. If he wants to go there too, it's fine. Ladies and gentlemen, that's overreaction. Monday on a Tuesday.
