This is the Truth Network. Satan's nightmare, Nakia Koloff. This is a war. This is one war that needs to be settled. What a brawl!
What a fight! And it's out of control here. That's a bad man. No, that's a bad man. You know it.
That's a bad man. Anytime, any place, night, day—I don't care. I'm only a phone call away, my friend. Welcome to another episode of Q and A with Koloff, the Devil's Nightmare. How long do I delay?
Just go ahead. Yeah, when when you see the timer go, you're good. He said, "Welcome back, Q and A with Koloff: Questions and Answers," where you. The caller and soon-to-be viewer get to ask me a question or two, and it's fun to have with me today, Mister Mister Excitement himself, Robbie Dillmore. Welcome back to Q and A with Koloff.
Exciting! I'd love to be on this show, and I'd love to have these. Questions. I'm not quite as great as your pastor, but I've I've had a chance to hear some great ones.
Well, always fun. And of course, I never know what what what I'm going to be asked. They're just organic conversations that we have. And of course, you there's man, there's multiple. How many different hats do you wear?
I'm just curious, Robbie. Would you say roughly how many different hats? I don't even know. You got the dad hat, you got the husband hat, the grandfather hat, right? Grandpa, did you know I just had grandchild number fifteen?
Yes. What you didn't know. Is I just found out, grandchild number sixteen is on the way. Yeah, yeah, sixteen grandchild. I have number nine on the way.
Number nine.
So you got the grandfather hat, you got the Truth Radio hat, and and within under that covering are multiple hats. Absolutely, the Christian Car Guy Show. Nationwide show that's broadcast through through a syndicated right nationwide. How many stations does the Christian Car Guy show air on? Last count, it was a hundred, but I haven't counted it.
Okay, hundred stations across the country. The Christian Car, which is a is a show filled with miracles, right? You are a miracle. We we've talked just talked about that on the Man Up show. People are going to have to go over to the the Man Up show, Robbie Dillmore, and it's dedicated to.
The nine miracles that that God has given Robbie and his wife Tammy, but so yeah, so how many hats?
So. Yeah, the Christian Car Guy show. The other live show I do every Saturday is called Kingdom Pursuits. Wonderful show that's on at eleven o'clock every Saturday on the Truth Network AM Eastern Time, and that show syndicated as well. And then we have a lot of recorded shows.
I do Finishing Well every week. I do Encouraging Prayer every week with James Banks. I do Finishing Well with Han Shile is a financial show, and then I get to do Man Up occasionally. I do. Masculine Journey Radio with the Masculine Journey guys, and what else?
A lot. Yeah.
Well, you got the pastor's hat. I got the. Yeah, I'm pastoring over in Ramsur. Is that Ramsur, North Carolina? It's a little east of Asheville.
Okay. On the way to Silur City, if you're going on sixty-four, kind of up on the or on the way on the way to Raleigh for maybe somebody that's been up that. Which I have been numerous times. We used to take that route. Just a little side story here.
Back in our wrestling days, we had an option of going all interstate, eighty-five, forty, over to the Dorton Arena in Raleigh, or a lot of guys would opt to go that back route, forty-nine to sixty-four, right? And all the state troopers knew what night we were wrestling, and would camp out and wait for all the wrestlers come speeding by to write them a ticket. And I can't tell you how. And their hope was they could catch Ric Flair. That was their hope that they could pull over the world champion Ric Flair and write the world champion a speeding ticket.
Go woo! Yeah, yeah. He wasn't wooing when they put the ticket in his hand. I don't think. But, but these.
This is all true stories too. I don't know how many troopers like I've even run into that have told me those stories. In addition to all the wrestlers that were stopped. By those state troopers, so but kudos to law enforcement. Thank you, we love you, state troopers.
Keep us safe. We love you, law enforcement. Keep us safe. Okay, so so in your church of Amazing Grace, Amazing Grace Church, Ramsour, Ramsour, and so your pastor go over there. Have I missed any hats that you're wearing?
It's about six or eight already.
Well, I you know. I've been the chairman of the Christian Businessmen's Committee in in Moxfield, North Carolina since I had the dealership there. It's really one of the funnest. You know, I get to do all sorts of fun things, but it's another thing that God gives me. I was just there Thursday.
I've done that for years and years. And and when I when I kind of tease the audience with the whole miracle thing, like the nine miracles, like I'm not exaggerating that, and I'm not making that up. You will have to listen to the Man Up Show, the interview I did with him over there to to get the full view of just the most recent miracle. Here I'll give you a little teaser. He and his wife sitting in an automobile stopped in their tracks on the interstate on I-40.
Here in Winston Salem, right, and when another vehicle just visualize and picture this, another vehicle at sixty five miles an hour. I don't know what that. Which I didn't did any. What happened to that driver? I think what happened was there was a car in front of him.
I saw this shenanigan. Another car was coming in pretty fast, and I think they at the last second rather than slow down. They went to the other lane. They went left, which left this guy like the next one in line. And they were kind of over the top of the hill, so it wasn't a real clear view.
And if he had he had three kids in the car with him, and so if he was paying attention to anything else at the moment that that car veered to the right because he didn't slow down either when it popped over the hill, so he was probably following that other guy. That guy dipped to the right, and the next thing he knows, we're right there. And if he wasn't paying a lot of attention right that second, I don't think he stood a chance. Forty. They all survived.
The kids and it was it was miracle. Actually, I mean that's one of the miracles from my standpoint that nobody in that car went to the hospital at all. Nobody. And then because he hit us so hard, yeah, we hit the car in front of us, which hit the car in front of them. Wow.
And nobody else was injured. Wow. So okay.
So picture that.
So, so we didn't cover that on the other show. That's even more amazing. That's it. There's so many miracles involved in this story. But so, 65 miles an hour, he plows into you.
In the car with three kids, but possibly distracted by the kids. That sometimes actually it was. I'm trying to think of the name of the Buick. It was. It was an SUV, but when they pulled the, I was on the the stretcher going around it.
You know, and I thought. I didn't know Buick made a minivan. I thought that the front of the car was missing. You know, based on the fact that I already hit us. Yeah, but it was, and it just totally flattened that SUV to where it looked like a minivan.
I could have sworn it was a Buick minivan. Wow! I'm like, I didn't know Buick made a minivan. Wow! So The driver and three children walk away basically unharmed.
Right, the airbags and all, yeah, certainly helped them. Yeah, the two two cars, the two cars in in front of you that were impacted by the impact, right, unharmed, and then you yourself. And your wife Tammy, we're not unharmed, but that's the teaser. You're gonna have to go over to the Man Up Show to to hear the the full story of how Robbie fast forward a number of weeks later, from a broken back and an injured neck to being literally, literally pain free and upright and and better than ever, you know, doing all all all the things you do and and and this this man has. Nine miracle stories like that.
We just covered scratch the surface on one.
So, all right.
So you wear a lot of different hats, and of course, you've been a part of. Let me. I want to mention this too.
Well, here you go. Here's another hat. Man camp. Our man camp. Yep, you're a man camp alumni, but now you've come back a number of times and been an integral part of the staff.
Take a take a minute and talk about the impact of and and hold on, and you you have your own boot camp, another hat, right? Right. My role with masculine journey, masculine journey boot camp, and advanced boot camps. You have a couple of those as well. But then you came to our camp, and and what impact did did man camp have on you personally for you wanting to come?
There's all sorts of Impact like there's no way I could possibly, and we're going to get to a little bit when you hear my questions coming up from Nikita, because has to do with that. But there was a huge impact to my physical health. Like when I first came to Man Camp, I weighed two hundred sixty-five pounds, and prior to the accident, where I sat around for about six weeks, so I don't know what I weigh right now. I know I weigh one hundred eighty-five, which you know was. Dramatic change, right?
Like gigantic for my health. The numbers of medications I'm not on today, yeah, compared to what I was on when I went to Man Camp in 2021, and so you can see what you know what God has done for that. I, I. Off of three medications completely, cut my blood pressure medicine way in half. Plus, took another one off.
Took one of my diabetic medications off and cut that one substantially. All those things as a result of of the things that God put me. You know, I was instructed at man camp about certain things, but then God gave me the wisdom, and He gave gave me the the discipline to to carry out those things.
So, you know, He was certainly a gigantic part of that. But then, financially, you know, you know, I can tell you that, you know, and this is a little bit transparent, but I did do a lot of things in my life. I felt like I was vulnerable to have any money, and this is a story all of itself. Like I couldn't have any money anywhere, and the government wouldn't put their hands on it. And so I didn't have one dime in savings.
I didn't have one dime set aside for anything in 2021. Right, if if you compare that to now, um, not that it's a huge amount, but you know, Tammy and I have over thirty thousand dollars that we've been able to put, you know, into different. Accounts and things, and also basically, you know, there were principles that were taught, but there were also, you know, like look at this part of your life, and so it wasn't just, you know, the spiritual aspect, which was huge. Of of what does it mean to be biblical manhood and those kind of things, which really helped. My marriage and helped a lot of things, but there's there were practical things in my life that happened as a result of Man Camp, both financially and physically.
Physically, and so you know the total being the you know having life and have it abundantly. To say Man Camp had an impact, and again, you know then staffing that and and seeing, you know, here's the deal. Seven days or six days, however long you want to count it, to chase after the heart of God. Like you go on vacations, you do whatever you do in life, like I did. But to actually take and sets time aside, especially if you're in ministry.
And from my standpoint, we're always serving somewhere, right? What? Why not let God serve you? You know, and come to a place that's set up where you're going to be. No cell phone, you know, disconnected, and it's just you and God.
In a lot of ways, that are that are set up through the staff at Man Camp for you to get vulnerable. Because one of the biggest problems I have with God, I don't know about you, but really letting Him into different aspects of my life. Because I'm hiding, and so it's what I do with my sin. What Adam and Eve did, yeah, right. Yeah, and so so much of what happens at Man Camp that I've been honored to see.
Is men take off the mask and be who they are in front of God, but in front of other men to to actually see what it tells you in James, you know that you know if you confess your sins one to another, he is he is faithful. He is going to put things in a position that is just amazing. Faithful to show up, and well, that's a great that's a great testimony. And I'll give you the website here in a moment if you're intrigued and want to learn more about Man Camp. Which it's great testimony to hear, Rob, because when if they go on the website, they will see some actual before and after photos of guys who like yourself were convicted of their health, right?
Their physical health, and and before and after photos of that, you know, testimony. From from wives who's who's where marriages were literally on the rocks. Friend of mine, alumni Ray Breakfield, who pastoring a biker church in Rock Hill now. His wife said to me, "Stay in the parking lot, man." Prior to Ray going to the band camp, I was waving the checkered flag, quote unquote. I'm finished.
I'm done. I'm finished. I'm out. And the transformation of Ray also in 2021. Uh, was so so impactful on their marriage.
Fast forward five years later, and they just launched Biker Two Four Two Church in Rock Hill, South Carolina. You know, just one of the the many many miracles. But that piece you just mentioned, because some might think, well, wait, you talk about money at camp.
Well, Jesus talked about money, and so yeah, we'll give you a little insight without going into great detail. But we want you to be healthy in every area of your life, certainly spiritually. But even emotionally and mentally, physically, and even financially, you know, being a good steward of everything God gives, right?
So, great testimony.
Well, the website. Let me give you the website, and we're going to get to Robbie's questions here for me. Is mancamp.info. Just go to mancamp.info, and you can learn more about the camp. And you know whether you're a guy out there listening, or or or a wife, or a mom, or you have a son, or a husband, or a dad, or you you just want to encourage them to come to camp and get a taste of what Robbie just described.
So thank you for that testimony. Absolutely. All right.
So so let's let's let's dive Whatever questions you have for me, I'm ready. I think.
So, you know, and for those listening, you know, having been blessed to have a fairly close relationship because just being his producer for years, hearing his story and being pretty integral, you know, Nikita has a quest for excellence. Unlike. Truly, almost anybody I've ever met, and Jesus, you know, has a quest for excellence, and he lines up with that. Nikita does, you know, really, really well, and so, and obviously, it was something that you must have been engraved into you very early, or you wouldn't have pursued your dreams with the with the intensity that you did. But was there someone or something that happened early on?
I'm talking about before the weight set and all that stuff. That said, look, man, when you pursue something, you, you, you, and here's the word that to me explains it better than perhaps any: wholeheartedly. Like with, like, did you put everything, yeah, into this? Yeah, it's a great question, Robbie. Really is.
I guess I'll address that answer this way. I mean, the short answer, the short, real short answer would be yes, and and and it probably stems back to growing up fatherless. My dad left when I was three, and raised by a single mom. Again, talk about finances. You know, I I look back and feel like we lived looking back in abject poverty, which a product of welfare.
You know, yeah. As a kid, you know, it just is what it is. But then you look back and you go, "Man, we were poor. Like we had, we had no money." But right, and so the Lord had to really work with me and get me out of what I call a poverty mindset, to where I feel now I can fulfill that being a cheerful giver and being generous on. Every occasion, you know, or maybe I'm still I'm still a work in progress, but I'm way down the road on on that aspect of it.
That said, so looking back at my childhood, realizing, you know, without a male role model or male figure in my life, I just embraced at at a very young age that whatever I was going to do, whatever that turned out to be, I was going to put my whole heart into it. And and and I just had, in a sense, kind of me to lean on, right? And me, me to you know look look up to, so to speak. And and so that wasn't still that early. And then of course, when I was introduced to the weights, and then eventually football, and eventually wrestling, and then eventually serving the Lord, that only enhanced it.
So I had that innately in me from a very young age. But then coming to the Lord and knowing, to your point, that Jesus did everything with excellence, then that just kind of enhanced what was already in me to to now have an attitude or perspective that no matter what I do, to the best of my ability, I'm going to do it with excellence. Whether it's running a man camp or Koloff for Christ Ministries, or signing autographs out there in in the in the wrestling world, interacting with people, you know, just trying trying to love on people, and so it's been a journey and a process of of of getting to where I'm at presently. But I'm I'm grateful that I learned that what was innately in me. Jesus emphasized, and I could embrace it with a whole different perspective.
So, yeah, it's it's a beautiful thing to see. You know, God gifted you in that way to be able to throw everything at that, and and then give you through that passion and that wholeheartedness of platform to share with people that we would all have a chance to. Go to main camp, etc., being involved in your ministry. But there's another aspect to it that, well, let me let me throw this in there too—a little side story to illustrate the point even further.
So Barry Darsow, who we went to high school together, right, played football together. Wrestled together. He wrestled. He eventually became my partner, Crusher Krugev, and then he went on to WWF, now WWE, and he was Demolition Smash, and they just got recently inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Dear, dear friend, longtime friend, obviously all the way back, really all the way back to junior high school.
So way back to junior high school, but he told me a story one time, Robbie, that that he was in Louisiana in back in the territory days, wrestling with Nikolai Volkov, another famous comrade, Russian Nikolai, who actually was from Ukraine and was had some Russian in him.
So anyway, another story, but Barry's wrestling out there with him as a tag team partner, and he would later tell me that. People came into the Carolinas, guys who would wrestle here, and then go down to Louisiana, and they're like, "Man, they got like a shooting, like a real Russian up there in the Carolinas," and they're like, "Wow, really?" And then Barry goes, "Then I found out it was you," and I'm like. I should have known. I should have known. He goes, "You were the guy that that went a hundred percent in practice that we always hated." We're like, "Dude, it's practice.
Chill out." But Robbie, I had the attitude: you play like you practice, right? And if you're gonna practice halfhearted, you're gonna play halfhearted. And he's like. Shoulda known it was you, man. Shoulda known because what did I do?
I put my whole heart into that character, the Russian nightmare, Nikita Koloff. My whole name into it. My whole name, my whole heart, right? And I gotta believe, based on fan reaction, um, that because I did, the character got over like it did.
So, all right.
Well, we got time for one more question. If you got another question, I do.
Okay, and so. Another unique quality from Nikita has that's Jesus-like, in my opinion, is I have never known anybody in my life that has the ability to not only engage people at a deep level individually, and I would call this grace. Right? Like, if you're around Nikita, you're probably going to feel like you're his favorite. And that word favor is very much connected to the idea of grace.
If you're around Nikita and you talk to him, like, well, I know in some sense I'm his favorite. But the fascinating thing is, I watch you. Is you're able to keep ongoing, long-term, intimate relationship, deep relationships like that with so many different, like, I can't tell you the man camp alumni that I know personally, I know well. Um, that they would think nothing of picking up the phone and calling Nikita or texting him and expecting to get an answer, like and expect to have him come by their house if he was, or you know that they would come by his house. That it there there have to be thousands.
How how do you do that? The word that pops in my mind as you're describing that and asking that asking that question is the word intentional. Intentional. Just recently. One of our alumni, Richard Bell, who you know well, I know we know well.
He will sometimes now be a.k.a. Jonathan, in other words, travel with me some. Like he, we is an armor bearer. He is an armor bearer, and and and he just loves to come and serve, and you know, and be around with me and learn from me. And fact, we had an incredible discussion in in the car on a drive from Logan, West Virginia, to Griss, South Carolina, from one of my devotees.
That morning, had about an hour discussion on some of the questions that were posed, and and and then at the the the men's dinner where I was the keynote speaker, Kevin Johnson drove an hour to come and just support. I'm not surprised just to be there, right? Um, and Wayne King drove a half hour over. There been times we've had. Uh, six, eight, ten alumni that'll show up at a men's dinner or men's breakfast, just to come and support, and and so the word intentional though, Robert, to get to the the really the meat of your the answer to your question, is just to be intentional, and obviously there's time involved in that, but I just.
Again, I just want to be a good steward of of my time, but really honor the person you know, the friendships that I have, and the people that reach out to me. And it's not just—you won't be shocked by this, I'm sure—but as such as people I know, like even at autograph signings, like I had a guy recently. He said, "You probably don't remember this, but three years ago, is that one of these signings?" And I was sharing with you, I was going through a battle with cancer, and you just shut everything down at your autograph table. And right there on the spot, just pray for me," he said. "Wow, that that really impacted me.
That really made made a difference. And and you know, I was like, 'How are you doing now?' He goes, 'Well, I'm still struggling.' So I go, 'Well, let's pray again. Let's pray again.' So you know, so I guess the the the best, the shortest thing is just just to be intentional and just to show, just respect others because you know, I certainly desire to be respected. You know, I think as men, especially, that's the number one desire. I think is just being respected, and so if I if I want to be respected, I just feel like I need to show that same respect.
To others, and and and not brush them off if they need a phone call, or I need to respond to a text message. And for the most part, I'll say you know every now and then because I am human, some things do slip through the cracks. But for the most part, Robbie, I'm I'm going to be intentional to to follow up if if somebody reaches out. That's beautiful. That's beautiful.
God given.
Well, we got Robbie Dillmore with the Christian car guy. What's the somebody wanted? It was passing through Ramseur, North Carolina, wanted to visit Amazing Grace Church or watch it online. Do you guys do it online live? Not yet, not yet, but you will.
