If your phone sounds like mine, you know life gets busy. But no matter how busy I am, my health, including my sexual health, is a priority for me. When I learned prep could be an option for women, I looked into it. Prep can be about 99% effective in preventing HIV through sex when taken as prescribed, and it comes as a long-acting injectable, which might mean more time between doses. Let me tell you something. This is why I don't give a rat's ass about the crowd, because I was right, and I'm not saying this to spike a football. Although I am petty, I am, I am, I was right about. Tarrant County, and I—all the same people that are mad at me about the tariff stuff were livid over me at me over this. I was here on the ground.
I was talking actual activists. We were going to all of these get out the vote things, and people were freaking out about the turnout. And I made mention of it, and half of the Republican Party lost their damn minds, trying to drag me all over the internet.
Now look who's getting dragged. Uh huh.
So I was right because I am. I usually am. I'm not like one of these, you know. Hand me my packet, producer team. I'm going to go and repeat other talking points.
I mean, I know this stuff. I was right. That's why I was so confident in telling you guys this. Whenever I bring stuff to you guys, it's because I've done the the lead work on it. And look what happened.
I was only incorrect in the amount of the belt whipping that we got, but I knew it was coming because people were. I mean, you could tell this a year out. You could tell this, and I, you know, I know not everybody agrees with it. And I look, I know that people have different thoughts about the tariffs and if they work, etc. I'm not wholly against tariffs, but I think when you have a policy of here I'm implementing tariffs, then I'm going to pause it.
I'm going to re-implement it.
Now we have multi layers, and now this is out, but this is in. Guys, do you know you know how that businesses struggle to try to accommodate that and also look ahead? That's a real thing.
So this is one of the things that came up yesterday because you had this post from Vance, and I you know I got something else to say about this this thing this this post that that Vance put out yesterday because it struck me that he wasn't. It struck me that he was not. How do I put this? That immediately, right out of the gate, just came out blasting. First off, this was the post that he had yesterday, and he was saying that it had to do with the Iran conflict, and that's what it comes down on, et cetera, et cetera.
And it's just not that's just not necessarily accurate. But I thought it was wild, and I am pulling up. A couple of things here. I thought it was just kind of crazy that he would come out and say this and not defend his own, at least defend his own party from accusations about this. I mean, this was the guy who, when Marjorie Taylor Greene was out there calling Trump a pedophile, Marjorie Taylor Greene and other elected officials like Massey, Vance didn't say anything.
Vance hadn't said anything. He didn't say anything about all the—I mean, really—about a lot of the Erica Kirk stuff. He did not. I mean, even before elections, he was very oddly quiet. And I, you know, I was being very gracious in interpreting this as well.
Maybe he just doesn't want to get involved in the tit for tat. But I think it's more. And this post kind of showed that to me. That it's a little bit more than that.
So this, I wrote about this on Substack for those of you who are subscribers to that, because I wrote about this last night, and I I went and I looked through all of these exit polls, and there's one thing that the exit polls, a lot of people are misrepresenting this NBC poll.
Well, I went through every, I combed through every bit of it last night. And he he opened his piece. He goes, well, one of the things that data analysts on our side obsessed over was composition. And he kept talking about these, these data analysts that he was talking to. He said, I asked the smartest data guy I know, and then and I thought, okay, well, who are these mysterious data guys?
That seems incredibly anecdotal. And he said, he goes, well, the reason, you know, the top four answers, we got to end the war, focus on the cost of living, inflation, put America first, change our relationship to Israel. We're doing a Matt Bailey here. I'll explain. He added, the reason we we lost is the war.
No, the reason that we lost is because of a ceasefire that you negotiated. If you're if you're going to make Iran part of it, then you are even more culpable. This is where he doesn't think it through. If he's going to make the loss in Iran, or if he's going to make the the loss predicated upon Iran, you realize that he literally is the avatar for the loss. I'm not being mean, guys.
He negotiated the MOU, and by negotiated, they allowed Pakistan to write it. If you want to be America first, bitch about that. He was up. That actually implicates him even more. Did his team not think about that before they sent him out there saying this?
So first off, I don't know who. Or what these conveniently anonymous pollsters or data guys are, but it's you know sounds kind of dubious. What's clear is that he wants this to be a referendum on the Western alliance as it relates to Israel by throwing Trump under the bus and distancing himself from the wreckage.
So let's examine the facts on this. I went through all the polls. I linked all of them on Substack, and I have screenshots for fun. Exit polls. This is the big, famous NBC poll that everybody's talking about, but they're missing a very important thing.
They said, "Oh, the majority, fifty-one percent of U.S. voters said support for Israel is too strong," and only nineteen. But here's the problem: they say forty. They say fifty-one percent say it's too strong. That fifty-one percent, only nineteen percent of that group is actually Republican.
Juan, this is the first graph that I have in that post. Only 19 of the group that actually voted Republican is reflected. This is the one with the bar graphs, first one in my post.
So it says omitted is that the majority of GOP voters said that the support was either not strong enough or just right. They said it was not strong enough or just right.
Now, why am I bringing this up? Because they did. We didn't start the fire. I looked at this; it gets into, and I, I, and it was actually a pretty well sampled survey. Nothing was oversampled, nothing like that.
I mean, it was a pretty legit from NBC, pretty legit survey. But he was saying that the reason that I'm bringing that up is because he said that's his number four: change our relationship to Israel. And he's intimated in numerous interviews that it's we're that it's too close of a relationship, or that the support is too much. But as you can see from this survey, that's not where voters are. This is direct from the NBC survey that everybody is misrepresenting.
Again, only 19 percent of the 51 percent that said it was too strong—that's the little red bar—that's the Republican vote. Everyone is literally ignoring that, and they're only focusing on the number that's big that that confirms their bias. I'm like, do some of these people know how to read surveys? I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but holy cow, guys! These drive-bys.
Now he says the reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night, but that's not what Trump said. Trump said, "quote I think a part of it was Iran, but at the same time, people understand the importance of what I've done with Iran." In fact, government corruption was consistently the biggest factor, which is not mentioned in Vance's one, two, three, or four. He mentions Iran and Israel, not a single bit of it are mentioned in that. Nothing is mentioned in that.
He doesn't say anything about corruption. Repeatedly, corruption literally is the top thing. Another NBC News poll. Voters are split on which party would better handle government corruption. It was a significant factor influencing voters nationwide.
Ninety percent said it was a crucial or major factor in their vote for Congress. This is a real. This is. I mean, this is data. Same survey that everyone's misrepresenting.
Corruption was the number one, not Iran, not Israel. They're actually worried about corruption more than they are about the cost of living. The cost of living, another one. And by the way, it wasn't just NBC; it was NBC, it was Associated Press, it was CBS, it was ABC, it was Fox News, all of them. Another exit.
This, and this one, I believe, was CBS. Government corruption again, top of line. Cost of living, which we're going to talk about, top of line. Associated Press, cost of living and government corruption, top issues. AP as well.
Fox News. This is the big one. How concerned are voters about key issues? Number one, corruption in government. Two, inflation and high prices.
Three, gas prices. Don't move the goalposts. I'm not going to allow people to do that. If the vice president is going out there and saying that Iran and Israel are the top issues, that's not reflected in the poll. I'm going to talk about the gas prices and inflation in a moment.
There's also a very huge disparity in both the Associated Press and the Fox News poll on how the Iran war, specifically because that was a question, weighed their vote.
Now, here's the other thing that nobody wants to talk about. You will not see anyone share this survey. That's why it literally only has 13 reposts. Same data, and they looked at nearly 40,000 respondents. 40,000 people.
There's this huge disparity. When you think the question was thinking about your vote for Congress, how important to you was the war in Iran? A major factor for Democrats: fifty-eight percent, seventy-two percent of Democrats said it was crucial. Republicans: sixty-eight percent said it was a minor factor. Seventy-five percent said it was not a factor.
I'm just the messenger, guys. But there's more. There's a lot more coming up front. There's a couple of different things. The exit polls in the midterms, and I'm looking at a number of different pollsters: RCP, The Spectator, as well.
John Fund has a very interesting piece out, and I highlighted it. If you're a subscriber, quote: "The exit polls in the midterm elections revealed that corruption in government was as much of an issue as cost of living. It's ninety percent. Vance did not mention corruption." Vance did not mention the lack of financial reform under Doge. He did not mention any further COVID accountability.
He did not mention the unfulfilled promise, unfulfilled promise of mass deportations. He did not mention Islamism. He did not mention healthcare costs, something that Republicans ran on fixing in 2016 and then completely ignored. He failed to accept.
Well, I will say, with the tax, the working families tax cut, they did actually. You did. We did get Obamacare refunds for some of the. Overcharges, but there, there was he had no answers for any of that as to what Republicans, including himself, failed to remedy with their time in office. There is no plan and no answers.
They're making Iran a scapegoat now. If you want to look at the tariffs, which we're going to dive into here coming up, what I am going to show you is that when they talked about Liberation Day, that is when every available economic measure this predates everything in Iran by a year. That's when it really started to tank. That's when the approval really, really started to tank. Juan's got one graph for you here.
That was the Liberation Day. A lot of that was a lot of that was pushed by these back and forth with Canada, and I think that was the big criticism of a lot of people who were objecting to Trump's tariffs policy, who were supported Trump's tariffs policies, but they were objecting to the execution because it was implement, pause, take back. Oh, we're going to do it again. I mean, it was back and forth, and that's very, very difficult for businesses. It's very, very difficult for working families.
And so that's what really started to kick in. You had the tariffs with China. You had the tariffs with Canada, particularly with Canada. There were tariffs every. There were threats of tariffs.
That you guys are going to get an economic reaction out of that, and people are going to feel it.
Now that did not cause everything. Don't mistake me. We're clawing out of everything that Biden did to defecate all over the economy. I get that. This didn't help.
I I was partially supportive of tariffs, and I still am, partially. I do not like the back and forth and the uncertainty, and I do not like the fickleness of the application. I think the execution leaves a lot to be desired.
Now, also, don't mistake me. I'm not saying at all whatsoever that the situation in Iran did not have an effect. But you got to remember, we don't get any of our stuff from Iran. That's Europe, and we put Iran at the table. We have denied ourselves the ability to be net exporters of energy and take our rightful place as number one when it comes to energy ahead of OPEC and everybody else.
And as a result, we've allowed we're Frankenstein. We've created Iran.
However, what is being said is that this is the sole reason, the number one and sole reason, and it's not. You can't say that. Oh well, everything was hunky dory, and then Iran. No, no, no. We have a lot of economic data that I'm getting ready to drop more of here coming up that proves that is not actually the case.
So you can't go out and ignore all of these other things and say, "Well, it was just Iran," and also, by the way, Israel. When that's not what any of the data is showing, and I have a lot more. This is just we're just getting started, and to use that as a cudgel against Potus when he still got two years left in office. It's not good, and you know what? It further complicates an already complicated issue because now everyone's wondering about the Supreme Court.
You've got governors that are scrambling that are going to be leaving and allowing Democrats to take their spots, like in Texas. This you do not need to add unnecessary nonsense to an already difficult situation.
So, when we come up, when we come back, we're going to talk about tariffs. But again, my argument remains: first off, it's not even a top four in the exit polling. Secondly, if you are going to cite the economy, you better go back to Liberation Day with tariffs. Third, it wasn't the conflict in Iran; it was the surrender party that was represented by the vice president who negotiated an MOU that was a complete and spectacular failure. And it made us look weak on the international stage, and that's it.
Almost like it was on purpose. We have a lot more on the way. We are going to dive into some. Headlines here coming up. Our partners at Alliance Defending Freedom.
This is an organization that is the tip of the spear. It's a nonprofit legal organization defending religious liberty, free speech, the sanctity of life, and parental rights. You know the stuff that they've been doing. Like they have defended. First off, they were in Dobbs v.
Jackson. That was the overturning of Roe v. Wade. That was ADF. They were helping to defend Mississippi's abortion law.
On that, they also defended. Jack Phillips, he's a baker, a cake artist, masterpiece cake shop. Supreme Court ruled in his favor seven two after Colorado officials persecuted him for being a Christian for ten years. There's so many more. They have a case right now with Cali Keeler.
She was 15. She is the wrestler. You guys remember seeing this video? Female wrestler who a boy wanted to wrestle women, and it was a male student who identified as trans was wrestling her and. She said, "Well, I mean, it looks bad.
I would say that it was that was a sexual assault. There were hands that were going where they shouldn't have been, and she was so distressed, and it was all on video. She allowed herself to be pinned just to get it over with." And so, ADF is representing her and her mother, advocating for female athlete safety, parental rights, and accountability. These are real wins that are helping to bolster your rights as parents. Do not let schools put ideology over the safety of girls in sports.
Your support today can help Cali and other athletes like her. Joinadf.com/dana is the site to go to. Your donations matter. You can text Dana to eight three eight four eight. That's joinadf.com/dana.
Text Dana to eight three eight four eight. Hey y'all, it's Lauren La Rosa, and y'all know I always have the latest.
So on my new audio series. Love lately, I'm getting into the conversations we're really having about love, relationships, and our sexual health. Every week, it's me and Dr. Contessa Metcalf, my big sister with a medical degree, breaking down what the culture says versus what the doctor says, and helping make sense of it all. Get into it.
Another thing me and my friends don't really talk about is like how you're having conversations with people about getting tested. I'll be honest, so many women don't feel comfortable talking about it, and they don't feel comfortable advocating for themselves. But let's go ahead and just put you in a position to where you can kind of empower yourself, and it it isn't something. It's not a judgment thing. It brings that peace of mind that y'all can just do what y'all do and have a good time.
Yeah. I say, get tested together, and that's beautiful. Brings you closer together. Listen to Love Lately with Lauren La Rosa from iHarts Ruby Studio on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Brought to you by Gilead Sciences.

But for this right here, there are a lot of people. There are there are people that are very upset right now because they want the Iran issue to be the sole issue, and there is a reason why. There is a faction within the GOP that wants the Iran issue to be the sole issue because they are either willingly participating or just going along with the group. This whole multipolarity push, they they want to use the argument of Iran as a cudgel, or for the basically as a as a justification for keeping the United States in its own sphere of influence. I.e., look how badly they did with Iran.
You guys need to mind your own business. Multipolarity. You stay in your own sphere, and you allow Russia and China to rise. That's part of it. That gets into it, and I know we've talked about this quite a lot over the over the year.
And there's an ongoing series that I have over at Substack about it, but it's very true, and that's what a lot of this is. In fact, Alexander Dugin, who is the you know the resputin to Vladimir Putin, he has been out here celebrating all of this. He's been celebrating, reposting all of this, etc. And a lot of this is pushed by people like Tucker Carlson. This is cut eight.
I want you to listen to cut eight because this is exactly, exactly what it what it's getting down to. Moral: It's wrong for a leader to choose another country over you. Just like it would be wrong for a kid to take the neighbor's kids to Disney World while his own kids starved. That's just that's immoral. It's exactly what Trump did.
He chose Israel over the United States. People lie about it, but everyone can see it. Super super obvious, and that's just wrong.
Now, Tucker says this stuff, but he never does what I've done with you. I.e., I on Substack went and looked at all of this exit poll data. I published. I didn't just give you the link. I gave you the screenshot and the link.
I linked to everything. I even tried to find stuff that was counter to this. But the truth of the matter, for him to come out and say this, Tucker is really flaming this. I think it's very treasonous, but that's another discussion. He is flaming this divide, and he wants you to believe.
First off, I want someone. I want Tucker to explain what choosing Israel over the United States, what that means, and how Trump did it. How? I would love for someone to know. For someone to.
For Tucker to explain that. I would love to know how. And it's not just him. It's him. And it's all of the rejects.
Notice how every single one of these people have been jettisoned out of D.C. by Trump. They all have a common denominator. They're all mad at Trump because they all wanted something from him. Marjorie Taylor Greene expected to be handed a Senate seat.
That's a fact. I've heard from so many operatives in Georgia about this. She was pushing everybody. Apparently, the word through the grapevine is that woman was pushing everybody to try to get a censancy, and wanted Trump to just basically hand it to her. And he was like, "Look, everyone's telling me you would pull your polls, the surveys, early analysis of what your chances would be are trash.
You are going to get; they're going to wipe the floor with you. I can't do that. Why would we jump on that landmine? That makes sense, right?" Why would you? I mean, think about it from his perspective.
Why would you jump? Why would you back somebody for a race like that when you know they're going to fall on their face and then leave a whole congressional seat open? But she didn't want to hear that, and she lost her mind. Because she viewed that as a betrayal, she's a very transactional person.
So she was well. I supported you. What what do I get out of it? That's not loyalty. And one of the things that Trump, his biggest mistake, has been mistaking this transactional support with loyalty.
And so Tucker Carlson's very similar. He comes out. He has a different purpose, though. I he said, "Well, you know, Trump chose Israel over the United States. Everyone can see it.
See what? You can't just that. You can't speak evidence and out out of the ether. Cite something. What are you talking about?
Because I don't see that. If anything, I I see him as they kind of tamped Israel down. If I'm being honest, but none of that makes none of that makes any sense. None of that makes any sense." And this is cut eleven. This is Marjorie Taylor Greene as well.
Listen to this. Is it also the end of MAGA as a force in American politics? I think so. I think the MAGA movement's completely dead, and Trump himself is the one that killed it.
Now, well, first off, let me tell you guys something about movements. I was one of the co-founders of the Tea Party movement, the modern Tea Party movement. And this, all movements have a lifespan. And I even said at the peak of the Tea Party, I said, because I I was interviewed one time and somebody asked me, well, what do you, how do you see the future of this movement? I'm like, well, every movement has a lifespan, and if it can goes on after its lifespan, then it becomes a grift.
And I said that about the Tea Party at the time. With MAGA. Every just like with the new conservative revolution in the '90s with Gingrich, that also had a sunset. Every movement has a sunset, folks. That's not unnatural, and it's not bad.
It's not a pejor. It's not you're not being mean to say that Trump is. He's got two years left in office. What they're trying to do is say, "Well, MAGA is over. We have to hurry up and feather up something in its place." Maga is on the way out because that's the lifespan.
It goes with the lifespan of the presidency, right? Like compassionate conservatism under Bush ended when he left office. That's just normal. But what they're trying to say is that Trump killed his movement. I don't think Trump killed his movement because I think Trump has been pretty.
You know what you're getting with Trump. From the very beginning, I've called balls and strikes on this, and I don't. Everything that I think that he's been consistent within his movement. If anything ends his movement, it's going to be the palace coup that she wants to be a part of, and that's what gets into it. They need MAGA to go away so that something else can get in its place, and they're they're trying to push him out prematurely, is what this is.
So, it's interesting. This is this is cut seven. Listen to Tucker. Try to now. He's going to swayed in after Vance threw Trump under the bus.
Now here's Tucker coming in to help his friend. Listen. If you're a Republican, you're probably not as mad at JD Vance as you are at Donald Trump. But you're probably pretty mad because, like, why didn't he speak up? Fair, totally fair.
And this is not in any way. Like an attempt to resurrect J.D. Vance or argue that he should be the nominee in 2028. Who knows what's going to happen? If someone had asked you 18 months ago, will the Republicans lose every statewide race in Texas?
Like you never would have called that. I wouldn't either. Yeah, that's so weird. He's like, you're probably mad.
Well, well, Vance. I think Vance is kind of cowardly. I don't dislike him. I just think he's kind of cowardly, and here's why. This is a guy who really reinvented himself.
He went from calling Trump Hitler. He's called Trump an idiot. He said that he is quote reprehensible. He's called him reprehensible, innoxious. He publicly said that he was considering voting for Hillary Clinton in twenty sixteen.
He said that Trump was a total fraud. He didn't care about regular people. He said that racism and xenophobia played a role in Trump's rise. Would you like for me to give you all the receipts on this? Because I have them here.
This was ABC seventeen News that had this last this this one. This was back in. This was actually was first. In 2024, he called him a moral disaster. He had said that he was a never Trump guy and that he called him the he called him the Hitler of America and said he was a cynical blinker.
That is true. This is beginning 2016 and up.
Now, for comparison, I've had people try to say, "Dana, you once wrote an editorial at the start of the Republican primary in 2016 that was published in National Review, where you laid out your concerns about what you could expect from Trump on the Second Amendment, and you were called a never Trumper forever." I never called him Hitler, and I never ever called him an idiot or a moral failure or cultural heroin. I never said I'd vote for Hillary Clinton. I didn't do all of that.
So, if we're going to have a discussion about who. Never Trump is he would be the valedictorian of that.
So, and that is true. In twenty seventeen, he called him a moral disaster. He there's a lot. That's just the tip of the iceberg.
So the reason I say this out is because I feel like he's being disingenuous. Then he does a complete 180. He becomes the he runs for Senate. He barely wins his Senate race. Mitch McConnell has to bail him out in Ohio.
He also didn't pull Ohio through on Tuesday, and then he becomes Vice President and he completely changes. He backs Trump on Iran if it's if it's advantageous for him. And then the first second that we get results in from the election, he starts distancing himself. He starts using the terminology of. Calling it war when it's not—it's a conflict.
When calling it war, which actually has a legal implication to call it that—it's not just picking words. You don't like assault weapon, do you?
So stop. And then throws him under the bus and says that you know he lost because of the war. It's becoming evident. Trump's biggest mistake is thinking that loyalty is loyalty and not transactional behavior.
So I bring this up. Because now you're starting to see where people really truly stand.
Now the reason I'm telling you about this is because all of this palace intrigue is going to make it difficult for all of us. Instead of combating the left and everything they're doing the next two years, we are going to have to deal with not just the left. But the people who are trying to knife everybody in the back in the White House, and drag everybody for observing it, and that's the truth of the matter.
So, this is one of the reasons why I'm digging down so much onto this thing, because the Vice President came out and said that it was Iran that lost. He specifically said that was the only reason. There's a couple of other considerations, but no full stop. We lost because of the war. Verbatim is what he wrote.
Don't mot Bailey me. I'm not allowing people to move the goalposts. He said that it it was beginning and end. That's what it was. The exit polling are it's showing that that is not accurate.
So people can get mad at me, but I am not going to stop being correct to make you comfortable. In your machinations and pulling the wool over the American people's eyes, just not going to happen. We've got a lot more on the way as we move. Our partners bringing you the program. It's the folks at Ghost Bed.

Terms apply. Top grails are extremely rare. Welcome back to the program, Dana Lash, with you, ladies and gentlemen, and of course, I. This was a really. I saw this from Brian Harrison, who's a lawmaker out of Texas.
We've had him on the show before. They're calling for Abbott in Texas to immediately convene a special session to rein in the executive emergency powers before he no hosta takes office. Ooh. Yeah, because otherwise she gets a lot of. I mean, it's true.
She'll have the. She can modify laws. She can create and enforce laws. Modify statutes. All of that.
He notes that the Texas legislature must immediately pass and Abbott should sign legislation like HB nine eleven about never ending emergency powers. Remember the COVID stuff. Yeah, and. To kind of curb that, as well as to prohibit her from suspending or modifying statute sunset emergency orders in thirty days if not ratified by the legislature.
So she could, I mean, she could absolutely do that. You know, if they if they decided we're going to shut down the state of Texas because we're worried about another, she could do that. She would have the power to do it. Require emergency orders be narrowly tailored. Judicial reviews, all of that.
Absolutely, I absolutely think so. That I needs to be done, and a lot of these states are starting. There, I mean, we even lost comp comproller in Texas. I I don't think I was talking to a an older gentleman who actually worked in fracking. At one of the campaign things, and was saying that he what he said he was a young man the last time that he remembers Democrats getting even close to that many seats statewide.
I know, I know, it's a big deal. It's a big big ordeal. Florida held the line, but they're they were really dis they were really really diminished. They were really diminished. That's the the truth of it.
I mean, it's it's. I don't know. You look at states like Texas, and then you look at Florida, and you think, oh, you when you look at El Sayid and you look at Tellerico. I don't know if you guys saw this. He did a Fox News hit, and.
I don't. I wanted. I'm not playing this to give him any credit or praise. What I want to show you is a difference in two candidates. This is 18.
Talerico. I'm going to try to get through this, but go ahead and listen. Where will you choose to work with the president? Yeah, I think there's a wide variety of issues that we could work together on. Immigration is one of them.
I think trying to pass comprehensive immigration reform that includes border security. Give give the president credit where credit is due. He has done a better job than the previous administration in securing our border. But we also need to create more legal pathways for hardworking immigrants who want to come here and contribute to our economy, who want to make us richer. Stronger as a nation, and we should figure out a pathway to citizenship for those hardworking neighbors who have been here for years and decades, so they can come out of the shadows.
I also want to work with the president on housing. He's a builder, and we need to cut the red tape, the regulation that sometimes my party has been guilty of, so that we can build millions of new homes in this country. Last one I'll mention is I agree with the president on the need to legalize marijuana. And reform this broken criminal justice system. These are just some of the issues that I agree full heartedly with President Trump.
Now you compare him. Where's the El Sayed stuff where he was like screaming about Rogers and all of that? Because El Sayed came out, and he was immediately he made it very clear that he is not interested in working with anybody, and he was like Mike Rogers and joy retirement. And he has been all of this. I mean, oh my goodness, he.
I mean, where to? Is fourteen? Is that an interview post election cut fourteen that we have? This one.
Okay, yeah. This is listen. This this is cut fourteen. Listen to him here. This is El Saeed.
What about ICE? I mean, you don't have to investigate the shooting of Alex Preddy. Right or or the the murder of of Renee Good. They don't want to. Can we can we find out though?
We should. Who shot them? We should. Can we find out who's behind the masks? Can can can the Senate do that?
I hope we do. And you know, it is my intent, as I've always said, that I don't think I said this in 2018. ICE is not about immigration. ICE is about normalizing paramilitary force on our streets. Right.
Yeah. And I don't think we need an ICE. Hmm. Paramilitary. See, this was a thing.
One of the reasons they played this up so much is because this actually did have an effect with the Hispanic community, as much as the right doesn't want to say it, but it did. I told you, Cain. Remember when I warned you about this the other day? Yeah. I said, and and I know you said, I don't know if I buy into that.
I still don't. I know you don't.
Well, why don't you believe it? Tell the phone. Why don't understand? I mean, historically, as a Mexican, have a Mexican family. And I think the immigration thing.
There's a lot of people who have stood in line, did the legal pathway to citizenship, and they—they're all for, you know, strong borders. They're all for a strong actual immigration policy. That talking point from Talarico seems to be. You know, political fodder, but I'm not sure how aligned he is with the president on a very strong immigration policy. Hmm.
That's all.
So I'm just saying. I mean, you're right. The exit data that you were showing and the and the stuff you put in your substack, all that is data. I guess I can't ignore. I just don't buy it.
I I think. I mean, and that's the thing too with all of this. It's I think it's difficult for a lot of like, right, like average everyday voters, to look at where we came from and then see where we are. And we all know, okay, yeah, things are tough. There's a lot of stuff contributing to that.
We get it, and then just hand it all over. Like I get it, and I know that you guys are like, what, what in the world? I believe me. We we already went through that phase. I get you.
And it is it's it's crazy, but to ignore it, this is my and this is why I'm always like whenever you see these problems pop up, yes, it's worth it to pay attention to it, so that you can remedy the problem and you don't have to deal with it like we're having to deal with it now, and that's the unfortunate thing. It's a incredibly, incredibly unfortunate thing. Like the issue with corruption. I had someone, a couple of you emailed me and were like, "Ike, why is corruption such a?" Some of you did not believe, and you were very nice. You weren't mean.
I'm not trying to blow anybody up, but. I had a sizable number of you. Like some of it was an Instagram comment, some of it was in Facebook.
Some of you messaged on Instagram or Facebook.
Some of you emailed.
Some of it was on X, and some of you guys did not believe when I said that it was an issue of corruption. That corruption was a big deal. You guys, you guys didn't, you know, you didn't believe me on that, and it and it was true, Kane. I mean, you saw that that was a real. That was something that was a top priority.
You have to remember the Doj cuts, the U.S. aid stuff. All of that is viewed as corruption, and that's where a lot of that's coming from. And people did not think that the Doj cuts; they thought they could have gone far enough. They didn't see enough accountability as it pertained to Congress.
Never codified that stuff. Yeah, well, and they didn't see enough accountability from. All of the fraud that was busted.
Now, granted, they did, they did some. You you had fraud investigations, and there were some press conferences about it. But how many? And we talked about the people that would get that were that were arrested and that were charged with serious fraud. But you didn't hear a lot about that, did you?
There was. They would have great starts, and it was like they would lose momentum halfway through, and then they would not update Americans about what is going on. There was so much stuff happening, and that's part of it. But also, I think that they just sort of dropped the ball. That's why I'm like spike the football, spike the football.
You must do that. People have to be reminded of those wins, and you have to think. I mean, this people were and. Again, people were taking issue. They were taking issue with me for saying corruption was a big, big deal, and they were like, "How does that even weigh up there?" Again, the U.S.
aid stuff, all the early leering center. It was a a real in your face enrichment. You saw it in the Somali diaspora. You would see it in the H one B fraud. You would see it.
It was a real in your face enrichment, and guys, that stung voters. I get why. I absolutely get why that was a top issue in a lot of these exit polls. I get it. I get it, completely.
So, this is, I mean, it's it's a it's a tough thing. I think at this point right now, we need to take advantage of Democrats fighting right now. Because the DSA feels emboldened, and they can, they're going to start demanding lots of stuff. What you're going to see, especially now, as when the new Congress is seated, a lot of the R's are going to be terrified to do anything because in just two years we have a whole bunch of people up for stuff, and it's going to be potentially another bloodbath. They're going to be very, very afraid to do things.
What I anticipate happening is Trump might get very, very brazen these last two years and want to push a lot of things through that Congress is not going to do. Especially right now, before the end of the year, they're not going to do anything. They're they're they're gonna. Actually, they may do something. They may be able to like kick off some really good things now, but after January.
I think he's going to be really frozen because you're going to have a lot of Republicans that are going to be too terrified to do anything. I sent Kane and Juan and Steve the list of lawmakers that were that are going to be up in 28, and it's a lot. Kane, it was a lot. We have more to defend against than Democrats do, and a lot of the districts that we have to defend in are a little purpley, and so it's going to be a brawl. And these lawmakers are going to be too afraid to do anything, and you're going to see more executive orders.
But then, guess what happens? Like, if we go roll into 28 and we end up, God forbid, having a Democrat, then they're just going to undo everything. Just as Trump did it with a pen, they'll undo it with a pen. Hell, they may be able to undo it with one let with one order. I actually don't know how that part works, but they they may be able to just do it in one fell swoop.
It's a serious concern, so we've got to get. We've got to get on track for this. We we've now is the time to push.
So here's the thing. Um. I had one more story that I think I'm going to wait and save. The DSA watch, for instance, like. There's an account I follow, DSA Watch.
You should follow it on X because they're going to be besieged now. They're going to be like updating all the time because the DSA has been able to just to to gain so much power. How is this going to affect the right? That's the thing. How is this going to affect the right?
The right has no messaging for young voters. And I'm sorry, but it can't be Nick Fuentes. Do you know that people are out there already saying that Nick Fuentes is the future of the GOP? I'm not making this up. That is, that is that.
I want to make you feel better. You have an opportunity to get involved and push back, and you actually need to. You do. You need to. And I think that reaching out to younger voters.
This is a weird thing that the GOP has never really had to do in earnest before, because they had Gen X, and we just didn't care, did we? We just didn't care. We're like, get away from us! You try to come and talk to us, and but now you've got Zoomers out there, and I really think they need it. I think they.
I think they need the fellowship as we move. Folks who make it possible. It's the friends over at Relief Factor. With people about getting tested, I'll be honest.
So many women don't feel comfortable talking about it, and they don't feel comfortable advocating for themselves. Now. We're doing some house cleaning, and we're cleaning stuff up now. I here's one of the things that, for those of you who've listened for a while, you know this. For those of you who haven't, let me tell you: when you go through these election periods, usually the days after, everybody gets into this rage-filled finger-pointing contest. And I was hoping that maybe we could do an actual serious introspective as to what happened.
I am a little peeved that the VP decided to just drop a post throwing POTUS under the bus. I wish he hadn't done that because I feel like now. There's an attempt to reframe what the issue was instead of actually looking at what the issue was, and there's a lot of nuance in this issue. There's nuance there, and I don't think I think it's silly. And my whole objection with all of this in the beginning has been it's silly to say that it's one particular thing that did it all.
That has been my point, that it's one thing that did it all, because that's the assertion, that it's the war in Iran. It's the war with Iran, and we've talked about all of this, and and gotten into. We're going to talk about the tariffs tomorrow with Carol Roth, and really dive deep into into some of that. And here's another thing too, because I got heat a year ago over this. I support.
I don't. I'm not against tariffs. What I did not like was the two things, the execution, but. The messaging was the big thing, and just as you have an absence of messaging, that can hurt. You can have malicious messaging that hurts as well, and we're kind of in that phase right now, right?
There is a very organized effort to influence you, and it's not just the left. There's a faction of the right, and we talked about in the post-constitutionalist. Why should you care? If you disliked all of the big government Bush policies, and you think that they had a negative impact, you should care because these that that faction is just reviving those policies and dressing them up in new clothes and acting like it's they're new, and they're not. In fact, a lot of you would say.
Well, there were a lot of things that happened under W and Too Big to Fail and all this stuff that really contributed and created the stage that Obama launched even worse things from, and I think we can all agree with that. We're not all going to agree on how to get to the goal, but we agree on the goal, and that's what counts.
So I want everybody to kind of keep that in mind with this. But it's frustrating when there is a lot of disingenuousness that is out there, right? That is frustrating, and as it relates, you know, to the tariffs and the war, my whole position has been, the prosecution of Iran was not a wrong decision, in the beginning. Was not wrong. Trump was strong, and he—I mean, for crying out loud, this is the guy who goes in and gets out of Venezuela and goes in and boom, bang, and he's done.
And he's—they've done. We've done a lot of operations like that. He does not like endless wars because he's not a left and he's not Con Inc. or GOPE. But then the problem came from the people that he had in his circle.
That were advising him, maybe you should stop, maybe you should pull back, and then we had pause, start, pause, start, and it was just, it's like being in a car with somebody doesn't know how to drive a stick shift. And then we had the MOU, that was disastrous, and all it did was buy time for Iran to rearm and make us look weak. You guys remember, just really quickly, some of the stuff that was in the MOU. Three hundred billion dollar reconstruction and redevelopment plan for Iran. No requirement for Iran to in uranium enrichment.
That's a fact. I'm not. Don't get mad at the messenger. I'm just literally because I did. I read it.
I wrote about it. Negotiations to lift all sanctions. Release all frozen funds. No, no requirement for uranium enrichment. No end of and here's the other thing: end of military operations on all fronts.
They said, including Lebanon.
Well, that has nothing to do with us. What? Why did they include Lebanon? Because Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, which I've been in, by the way, I've been to southern Lebanon, and they wanted all waivers allowing Iranian oil exports during negotiations. There's a lot.
The MOU was bad, and I don't like finishing something that we start. I don't like not finishing something that we start. If we start a conflict, you finish it. You don't leave it unfinished. The MOU was disastrous.
The ceasefire was the failure. The MOU was disastrous. We were winning, and all of a sudden, and I think we all remember, we're like, "Wait, wait, why are we stopping? What, why, why are we?" Remember, everybody remembers this, right? That's when you had people that were in POTUS's ear saying, "Let's pull back." And I'm sorry, but the lead on that, the face of it, was Vance.
I didn't say that; literally, Fox News did. I have the story right in front of me.
So, I'm just saying, you can't make that assertion and then take and not take the culpability for it. Doesn't work that way. I don't really feel like people thought that through. And as it relates to tariffs, and like I said, I'm going to deep dive on this more tomorrow with Carol Roth. We're preparing, I'm preparing something fun for you.
We've got, oh, I know, we got charts and graphs.
So here's the thing with tariffs and and the with this and how it factors in, because the first proposal was in what 24 was in. Where the campaign was signaling across the board tariffs for more than that's like for over a year they were signaling this. The first proposal came in on November twenty fifth, twenty twenty four, and that was not maybe two two and a half weeks after the election. Let me look at my my calendar. That was like two and a half week two and a half weeks after the election, almost three, and.
That was when POTUS announced twenty five percent tariffs on Canadian and Mexican imports.
Now they were not rolled out simultaneously. You had a ten percent tariff on China that took effect on February fourth of twenty five. It was a twenty five percent tariff on Canada, twenty five percent tariff on Mexico that took effect March fourth, and there was a baseline ten percent tariff on all trading partners announced April second. That was the first time.
Now, look, I'm gonna, I give credit where credit due, and I call balls and strikes. I did not like these when they were first announced, and I we talked about that. I was, I wanted to, I was gonna let him cook, but I was not enthusiastic. Potus acknowledged from the get go. He did this on April second during the announcement.
He said that Americans will feel some pain. That was his words.
So he never, he never hid the risk. Right now, I get it. It this is, and you know, tariffs. This is something that this is basically a tax on. I mean, it is a tax on importers and consumers.
And it's the Supreme Court agreed. Remember, they had the six three decision that. Over tariffs, I think they gave him kind of an out on this, and that's a whole other story.
Now, the annual CPI inflation began creeping up. It was in two. It was at two point three percent, April twenty twenty five, when the sharp tariff increase was implemented. It began creeping up. This was measured by a number of.
Gosh, a number of entities, including Yale's Budget Lab, they found that consumer good prices, excluding food and energy, rose over two percent through twenty-five into January twenty-six. All earlier declines had been reversed. Tariffs. It is estimated by Wall Street Journal. It is estimated by Yale's Budget Lab.
It is estimated. By Forbes, estimated tariffs accounted for 86 percent of the rise in prices. I'm directly reading from Wall Street Journal, in its prices of imported household goods through January, the effect strongest for durables like cars, appliances, and furniture. Goldman Sachs, they estimated tariff pass-through had lifted core PCE by 0.7 through January. Studies of the 2018 and 2025 tariffs, including one from the New York Fed, by the way, put pass through in the range of 80 to 95 percent, which undercut the claims, ladies and gentlemen, that foreign countries would pay.
Now, even after SCOTUS, the fight Yale estimated that tariffs would still add. Even after the New York Fed's rule, all of this would still add six to eight hundred. To the average household bill, and then the struck down tariffs from SCOTUS that Trump replaced that with a Section One Twenty Two global tariff.
So he had a some of the arguments were from some people that after SCOTUS they were giving him an off ramp. They were saying that he couldn't do this, and then he basically resituated it and doubled down. We were told that prices would fall quickly. Reuters Ipsos poll from this same period found that 78 of Americans blamed the policies; they blamed tariffs for the rising prices that were outpacing wages. This was all like not even we're not even getting into Iran territory yet.
Voters who rated the economy as bad in exit polls, they went for Democrats in House races.
So this is the problem.
Now, my argument.
Now, listen. This is where nuance comes in. My argument isn't that. Oh my gosh, it's only tariffs. I think it's a whole bunch of stuff.
Tariffs, yes, but it's. I'm not the one though who made the argument that it was just the war. JD Vance did. I'm saying it's a lot of things. But specifically, when the economy began hurting, when people began feeling the pinch, it was all the way back a year ago, and it even precedes the first escalation in the prosecution of the conflict with Iran.
Now, do overall energy prices, gas prices, affect it? Of course, they do, particularly diesel. But again, I am not the one who verbatim said that we quote lost because of the war end quote. The vice president said that. I am laying out where the frustration began for American voters.
Now, why is this important to do so? I'm not trying to win a Z match, right? Why is this important to do so? Because my fear is that they're going to use this. As a way to dodge any accountability about any of the economic choices and policies, and ignore it entirely.
I mean, that's a real fear, guys. And this is one of the reasons why voters were saying the economy was the top issue.
Now, I compared. The voters who were saying the economy was the top issue, and the voters who were saying that Iran doesn't matter—you cannot have it both ways. We can go back, and I have all of this over on Substack. On my, I put all of the data up on Substack. One of the things, and I think Juan, you showed this poll earlier.
One of the one of the sort one of the polls that they had it got it got into what are voters what are they you know what are their biggest concerns etc. and it got into government corruption and it got into the economy and you know the the cost of living and things like that right there are two things that were happening there was one survey that was showing you the with the top it was the corruption of government. Cost of living, high prices. There was a Fox poll. There was also an AP poll.
But what's more, there was also a survey that showed that we have the screenshot of of how important to you was the war in Iran. Explain to me if you think that it's all because of Iran. And this was we have that in Slack. Thinking about your vote for Congress, how important to you was the war in Iran? Republican voters, sixty-eight percent, said it was only a minor factor.
Seventy-five percent, it was not a factor. What were they saying? Corruption of government, cost of living, the economy. Do you see what I'm getting at here?
So, if they're saying Republican voters, forty thousand of them were surveyed, and they said that Iran was either a minor factor or not even a factor. Seventy-five percent of Republican voters of forty thousand, nearly forty thousand, said it wasn't a factor. If you think now, I'm not saying that it didn't factor in, but again, it was Vance that said it was the reason, the reason, his words, not mine. The reason we lost because of the war, verbatim, is what he said.
Now. Why is it that the people surveyed, if it was, and everyone's like, "Well, Dana, don't you know everything in Iran drives gas prices?" But the survey says they that is separate. They are citing economic concerns while also saying that it was in Iran as the number one. That is the lesson in this. If there was a way we could put two of those side by side, which I just thought of, but that's really the big thing.
And so, again, I just don't think it's helpful to say that it's just that one thing. It's clearly a lot of things playing into this. But the reason that the focus is on Iran is because it's a push for multipolarity. You can do everything right for your health, but if you're missing key nutrients, you may be leaving your body without the support that it needs.
So that's where cowboy colostrum comes in.

It's time for Dana's Quick Five. All right, I went long that last segment.
Sorry.
So we're really short this Quick Five. But let's see. Get into it really quick. The real oh no, the real WKRP is going to bring the famous turkey stunt to life. Yeah.
This is going to be bad. They're literally going to do. They're going to do a turkey giveaway apparently, but I don't think they're going to drop them from a helicopter. That's an actual real thing. Again, apologies for going so long last segment, but we have another one on the way.

So on my new audio series, Love Lately, I'm getting into the conversations we're really having about love, relationships, and our sexual health.
But let's go ahead and just put you in a position to where you can kind of empower yourself, and it isn't something. It's not a judgment thing. It brings that peace of mind that y'all can just do what y'all do and have a good time. Yeah.

Underdog already has team picks, player props, money lines, spreads—you name it, they got it.
But apparently, somebody over there said, "You know what's missing? Screaming like a maniac about a rookie card on your couch." And we love them for that because Underdog now has rips. You get a digital pack starting at just five bucks. You check the live odds, see which grails you could pull, then rip it open to reveal a real physical card. And the grails are no joke—they have cards up to a hundred and twenty-five thousand.
In value and plenty to pull from football and basketball to Pokemon, with new limited edition packs dropping regularly. Even cooler, you can decide to keep the card and Underdog will ship it straight to your home, or sell it back instantly at 100 of its fair market value, and the cash goes right in your account. No listing it online, no stranger lowballing you in the messages. Just rip, reveal, and cash out instantly, or make some room on your shelf. Download Underdog.
And get in on the chase. Get five free rips packs when you deposit five dollars. Real rips, real cards, real cash. Only on Underdog. Unleash your dog.

Symptoms include buying microphones you don't need. Explaining RSS feeds to confused relatives and saying things like "Sorry, I can't talk right now.
I'm editing audio." If this sounds familiar, you're probably already a podcaster. The good news is Spreaker makes the whole process simple. You record your show, upload it once, and Spreaker distributes it everywhere people listen. Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and about a dozen apps. Your cousin swears are the next big thing.
Even better, Spreaker helps you monetize your show with ads. Meaning, your podcast might someday pay for, well, more microphones. Start your show today at Spreaker.com. Spreaker, because if you're going to talk to yourself for an hour, you might as well publish it. I just read the story.
The New York Post says this guy ended up being fired. This chef ended up being fired because he refused to put pineapple on pizza. He said it was a literally quote an insult to my culture, an Italian chef in Australia. Denied a request to add pineapple to pizza, he said it was an insult to his culture, and he was fired. The chef, David Tambrella, was let go from La Costa restaurant after management recorded a series of complaints about his conduct, including the pineapple thing.
So it may have been more than the pineapple, but he was so angry at the decision he brought it to Australia's Fair Work Commission, and the commission said that his refusal to add pineapple. To it hinged on the fact that he considers as an Italian that it was an insult to his culture, but I think it's hysterical. But that was one of many things. Apparently, he would. They said he, his job performance.
His communication style and his use of foul language in the workplace, and apparently he punched a metal handrail at work and broke a bunch of bones in his hand.
So it seems like there was more than the pizza topping, obviously. But I would, if it was just for that alone, I would back him. Pineapple, don't hate me. Pineapple on pizza can be good, but only every now and then. There's otherwise that there's things I don't like on pizza, right?
And I don't like Canadian bacon. Canadian bacon is just sad ham. It is. It's sad ham. It's not real bacon.
Bacon is like happy and crispy, and it's loving life because it's so crispy. That's bacon. Canadian bacon is sad, pale ham. I will die on that hill. Pineapple on pizza, though.
Do you like pineapple on pizza? You guys like it? Can you like it? No, no, no. Steve, pineapple on pizza, yay or nay?
I've had it, and that's how I know I don't like it. Oh yes, he said yay. I'm terrified to ask Juan. What? Yeah, he doesn't like it either.
Because we're sane. It can be good if it's a good sweet marin, like a good sweet marinade on it. It can be good. I'm not forcing you to, but I automatically felt like barbecue chicken pizza was going to be bad. But then I tried it, and I was like, you know what?
This is actually damn good. No, see. You like pineapple, and I hate it. I like the barbecue chicken pizza. That's not pizza.
Feels even to me. Just get some barbecue chicken then.
Well then, get some pineapple then. Oh my gosh, you're such a hater. All right, today's stupidity game. All right, let's do because I could have done. Let's do El Sayed here.
Cut twelve one. Everything the left does is about intersectionality and separating people. Listen to this. I want to just step back on this. We have to separate between Judaism and the Jewish people.
Why and Israel and its actions? We have to, and I've tried to do that consistently across my campaign. But people keep saying, "Well, because of your positions on Israel, you must also feel a certain way about Jewish people." I say, "Well, no, actually, we have to differentiate between our foreign policy and our policy." First of all, second of all, quit intersectioning people. Quit sectioning people off just so you can, you know, more focusly. Throw your hate that way.
Yeah, exactly, folks. That does it for us today. Make sure you find us over at Substack as well, and chapter and verse—that's where it is. YouTube, Facebook, like and subscribe. Have a great night.
Back with you tomorrow. Girl, guess what? Hey, what's up? I'm looking into prep for HIV prevention. Prep?
I didn't think that was for women. Same. Then I asked my doctor, and she said anyone who is sexually active should know about prep. Really? And there are long-acting injectable options.
Long-acting. I like the sound of that.
