The city of Antioch, once a hub of immorality and sin, undergoes a radical transformation as the gospel takes root in the early church. A group of copper miners, burdened for the cosmopolitan harvest field, deliver the message of Jesus Christ to the city, sparking a revival that draws in large numbers of people. Barnabas, a layman from Jerusalem, is sent to Antioch to investigate and finds a thriving community of believers, where the disciples are first called Christians. As the church in Antioch grows, they become a model of generosity and missionary work, sending contributions to the church in Jerusalem and launching the first missionary efforts.
