It is the JR Sport Brief Show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network.

I'm coming to you live from Atlanta, Georgia. Thank you to super producer and host Ryan Hickey holding it down for us in New York City. Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, thank you for tuning in. We'll be rolling with you for the next two hours. This is a four-hour show. We get started every weekday at 6 p.m. Eastern, 3 Pacific. How can you listen to the show every minute, every second?

How can you hit rewind if you miss a minute? On the free Odyssey app. Just find the Infinity Sports Network. If you're listening live on your local Infinity Sports Network radio affiliate, thank you.

We have a local list to you. If you have Sirius XM, it's channel 158. Thank you to the satellite. And if you got a smart speaker, you're technologically savvy. You don't push buttons, you just talk. Ask the machine. Talk to your speaker.

Ask it to play the Infinity Sports Network. Man, we got a lot to get into. Man, I'm upset at this. We got the, where they playing? The Maui Invitationals going on right now. We got Memphis beating up on Michigan State 62 to 51. We have to wait for this game to finish before we get the college football playoff rankings. Come on now.

How about this? We got Ben Hartsock. This man won a national championship at the Ohio State University. Catch him on Big 10 radio, talking all things college football. We're going to ask him about the playoff rankings. By the time he joins us, they'll probably be dropping right at the minute, at the second.

And so we got a lot to get into on the college side. Talked a lot of pro ball, Derrick Henry. This man is right there with Saquon Barkley, who's having the best season for a running back in the NFL. Talked about the Harbaugh bowl. Aaron Rodgers spoke earlier today. He says he doesn't even know if he's playing next year, but if he is, his first option is the New York Jets. He's not here to just run away and quit. Although I think the New York Jets are ready to just, well, I think they've already quit on him.

The kind of crazy speaking of being quit on. Mack Brown was fired today, North Carolina State, or excuse me, NC, UNC. He's going to take on North Carolina State and they're going to pack his bags for him.

Tell him goodbye. What a day, what a day. Hickey, when these students go to Hawaii to play basketball, do they see Hawaii or do they just fly them out there and ship them back? My guess would be the latter. Fly them out there. Maybe you get a little between like the walk from the bus to the arena, little Hawaiian sunshine. Maybe, I don't know, they give you like a hula skirt when you first walk in. Maybe there's some sort of little luau. Other than that, strictly basketball. Oh my goodness. You think Tom Mitchell is allowing his players to have some fun as they're getting ready for Memphis and getting their butts kicked?

They can't have dinner on the beach, right? Before the game, last night? No. I mean, some of these coaches out there, you know, it's all basketball all the time.

I don't know. You got to live a little. Isn't this part of the experience or part of growing up or do the college athletes make so much money now they like do this crap on your own time? That could be it.

And maybe you don't want a LiAngelo Ball situation again. Stealing sunglasses? Getting yourself in trouble in a nice place when you don't want to be getting in trouble. What is somebody going to steal in Hawaii? A lei? What are you stealing in Hawaii?

There's a lot of nice things in Hawaii. Have you been? I haven't been. I've never been.

No. I've only heard great things. You could steal. If you steal a rock, it's that's bad.

You know, volcanic rock. That's not good. Oh really? Yeah. Get in trouble for that. Yeah. That's what I'm talking about.

Who knows? Volcanic rock. Aaron Rodgers would do that.

He'd steal a volcanic rock. Man, it must really stink. You go play basketball, you don't get a chance to do nothing. Good for them. Whatever.

They could say they've been to Hawaii even though they didn't experience it. Anyway, college football playoff. We wait. How many more? How about they got four minutes left in this game? At least one more TV timeout. Four and a half minutes to go. Now, Memphis is up by 10 over Michigan State so maybe that stops the whole parade to the free throw line bit that you see during close games so maybe you could finish a little faster but these bad boys, these rankings are not coming out for I would say at least another 20 minutes. Yeah. Well, good thing we're patient.

We'll see what happens there. As we wait on the college football playoff rankings and in 15 minutes we'll have a chance to have a chat with Ben Hartsock. It's not the only thing college football related that got released. We started to learn about some of the potential nominees, award winners, potential award winners for the individual awards outside of the Heisman which I think at this point I think we can all I think would agree it's a two player race between Ashton Gentie and then also Travis Hunter. You think about some of the best awards that are going out. Ashton Gentie, Travis Hunter, Dylan Gabriel, all three of them are up for the Maxwell Award which goes to the best all around player and realistically if you want to talk about best overall player I think that's quite obvious that's Travis Hunter. Like how could you not give him the award for best overall player?

Hickey, you agree? I would still give my vote actually to Cam Ward. Overall player?

Overall because he just he's asked to do so much. How could how could the best overall player not be a guy who plays offense and defense and plays every snap every game? How's he not that's like he's the Shohei Ohtani of the football. Yes I yeah but Cam Ward I think impacts the game more and I think he plays at a higher level on at least one side of the ball that makes up for his lack of playing defense. Oh come on man that's not a knock on Travis Hunter he's been great. Cam Ward by the way 30 almost 3800 yards passing to go along with 34 touchdowns.

He's been incredible. And so if you don't think this man is the best overall college football player you don't think he's one of the Heisman either then huh do you? He wouldn't get my vote if I had a vote again I'd give it I'd probably go Cam Ward one Ashton Gente to Travis Hunter three. Wow whoa why because if Miami had an average quarterback they'd be where?

Uh six and six. Oh yeah yeah they'd barely be thinking about a a bowl game. Okay reasonable so you think this holly of Cam Ward when you think about the quarterbacks that are going to be selected in the draft, Chidor, Dylan Gabriel will get a look right no can't go back to college anymore. Well no he cannot he's a little small I like I like Dylan Gabriel a lot I just wonder at the NFL.

Cam Ward it's going to be Chidor Cam Ward and then Dylan Gabriel right? Quinn Ewers I bet you would get some looks. Oh my god winning the second round the third round? I bet you goes in the first round. Quinn Ewers?

I bet you right now yes. You think somebody you think one of these sad sack teams look Quinn Ewers at the next level is going to do what get hurt he's going to sprain his pinky toe like he's not he can't last in college how's he going to last when a real a real man knocks him around? I agree I'm not saying I would feel great if my team drafted Quinn Ewers. I just think when you look at you know his talent the ceiling what people are looking for I bet you him Cam Ward Chidor Sanders go in the first round.

I imagine Dylan Gabriel goes like round two or three. I think anybody trying to draft Quinn Ewers in the first round is looking to get fired like I'm just being serious I think once you get outside of the first couple of quarterbacks it's mainly Chidor Sanders and then Cam I think outside of that you can look at those two guys as projects and everybody else at the QB position is just it's risky. I mean I think we've had we've had a higher rated prospects just just over the past season or two guys that you can look at and go oh man yeah I can build my team around this Quinn Ewers Dylan Gabriel they they're shaky.

I wouldn't I wouldn't do that to to say the first round. Hickey what what team is looking at Quinn Ewers and going I need to draft this guy in the first. Think about all the ass teams that need QBs that we've discussed. The Raiders are going to need a quarterback by the way it looks like Aiden O'Connell is going to play on Friday against the Kansas City Chiefs. You know who else we we went through the giant stink yeah they're not touching yeah they're not touching Quinn Ewers you don't think so no what NFL team legitimately can say we're drafting Quinn Ewers and he's going to bring hope to the franchise there's not a team none oh the Raiders would absolutely do it absolutely no with Tom Brady running the show now yes no what Tom Brady thinks he's the quarterback fixer well maybe he'll he'll instill some maybe he will take Quinn under his wing give him the tv12 method sleep in those weighted pajamas to his body right plyometrics and all of a sudden he'll be healthy Tom Brady is whispering to potential draft picks I can help heal your body just go see my friend Alex Guerrero oh yeah don't get a recommendation from Belichick don't do that look but when you think about it the New York Giants are going to be selecting well I mean all things considered we don't know as of right now they'll be selecting one the Raiders going to select two Jacksonville Jaguars are three they don't need a quarterback they're paying theirs 55 million dollars a year to suck the Patriots are four they don't need a QB the Browns are fifth I could see the Browns going for a bridge and trying to tank next year because if you're the Cleveland Browns why Quinn Ewers for what I wouldn't dare the Carolina Panthers no you're not doing that the New York Jets the New York Jets are not going to be lucky enough to get a good quarterback Tennessee Titans picky I just find it tough I think a lot of these teams are going to fill other holes and then double back on quarterback later man I don't know Quinn Ewers sucks he doesn't damn I'm not saying he sucks but he can't he can't stay healthy he can't stay healthy in college I'm going to trust you to stay healthy in the pros no I agree look he's been hurt every year I agree I'm with you in this injury front this quarterback class is not not all that exciting I mean also I agree but also look at what teams have done in the past I mean the Colts drafted anything to Richardson based on 12 starts the 49ers drafted Trey Lance on like five starts in North Dakota State yeah but these but the two dudes who you just mentioned people look at them as physical freaks and marvels Anthony Richardson was just a highlight reel all by himself when he was playing with Florida like that's why they drafted him and Trey Lance similar although he didn't run around you know the school as big as as Florida but they drafted them off of their their physical uh skill sets hoping that they could refine them and turn them into solid QBs now look Trey Lance can't see the field even as a backups backups backup now in Dallas San Francisco dumped him and Anthony Richardson we saw how electric he was even in his rookie year he just couldn't stay healthy he's trying to challenge grown men that's a part of the learning process I mean in a league right now where nobody has patience you draft the quarterback maybe at max you want to see what he can do in two years if he can't do something in two years they want to dump him I just don't I'd skip I think we're going to see a lot of QBs that get skipped over in the most ideal situation just because I I think it'd be cool let the giants get cam ward let your door end up with the Raiders let him be coached by Tom Brady you know and that what the world wants why couldn't we just throw and hickey I guess that would be and hickey I guess that would be would that be against the rules if should door stayed at Tom Brady's house right no because Tom Brady he could stay there Tom Brady not on tv has so many rules of things that he can and cannot do are you saying before he's drafted to the Raiders or once he's officially a member of the Raiders what difference does it make right oh I bet you he would not be allowed to stay at Tom Brady's house before the draft what about when he's on the Raiders well I guess I mean I guess he can't manipulate I don't know that's a good question I don't think about that Tom Brady ain't gonna last these 10 years man five years for Tom Brady or three the only thing is he needs the money who Tom Brady oh he excuse me like he needs the money in the sense like isn't he using this broadcasting contract to help buy the small share the Raiders that he has I would think that every dime and dollar and penny is is probably going into this right so like it's not like he can just afford to quit you gotta pay the share we gotta look I don't know what does he have a point that's a five percent I don't think he has a lot but either way it's still a crap ton of money right it's small I think it's like five if that much Richard Seymour has like half a percent I know that okay yeah half a point Tom Brady Tom Brady percentage rate let's bet you it's five oh wow Brady and his partner hold ten percent Brady holds five percent stake and what are the Raiders value what is the Raiders valuation right now you think four five let's see oh crap it's seven billion dollars wow that that is I mean that's a lot of money that's so much money five percent of seven billion let's see oh crap yep yep he needs this money bro yep yep this is about his uh about his entire contract uh-huh what is that is it 350 million yeah yeah no wait no wait 35 oh yeah just 35 wait yeah he could afford this today yeah 35 million okay so maybe you know maybe I take that back maybe how many zeros come on man this is my I need glasses three zeros three zero oh no hickey he needs all that money bro is it back to 350 yeah it's 350 I was right the first time that's incredible yep mm-hmm wow damn yeah he needs to work yeah but come on he spent uh what was his career earnings 600 you think no he played long enough I just saw it from the contract and he could he could borrow he could borrow yeah you think about whatever side money he made yeah well clearly he doesn't have enough because I don't again I don't think he's taking this broadcasting job he can borrow hickey he can probably borrow maybe he doesn't want to rich people brady made more than 473 mil from salary and endorsements by the time his career came to an end you think about that gets taxed half of that is gone yeah you right he needs this fox money either that or he's borrowing that's uh that's tough his situation is very weird he can broadcast but he can't go to other people's facilities but then he can have influence on the raider it's just very odd but the owners approved it and so we'll see when they they make him basically quit we'll find out soon enough there'll be another scandal with tom brady uh somewhere down the line it's the jr sport brie show here with you coast to coast on the infinity sports network we're going to take a break when we come back on the other side we await the reveal of the college football playoff rankings the latest edition joining us on the other side is someone to help give us a look as to what we're doing give us a look as to what we might see he won a national championship with ohio you can catch him on big 10 radio and serious xm joining us also former nfl player ben hartstock you're locked in the jr sport brie show the infinity sports network you're listening to the jr sport brief it is the jr sport brie show here with you coast to coast on the infinity sports network we are minutes away from the latest edition of the college football playoff rankings and the season is coming to a close we're gonna blink we're gonna see the first round but right now it's time to see who is rising who is falling and who may be in a good position who might have just completely fallen out joining us right now is someone who knows a little something or two or three or four a lot of things about college football you can hear him on big 10 radio on serious xm he played for the ohio state university where he won a championship he suited up in the nfl joining us right now is ben hartstock ben how are you doing well doing well driving down the highway with several thousands of my other friends on their way to thanksgiving uh trying not to bounce off each other as we drive down the road man i hear that i know a lot of people getting ready to head all out all over the place so be safe out there ben b is safe now appreciate the time while you're on the road i gotta ask you this after a crazy weekend in college football we saw indiana lose to ohio state not a shock we saw penn state barely get beat get by minnesota we saw ole miss uh a fall to the gators i'm assuming they're going to do a lot of falling in a few minutes what are your overall thoughts who has uh really screwed themselves over and making a playoff and who was elevated yeah you know there's a lot of different ways to slice it and and it's easy to kind of look past this weekend of it's kind of wild of all of the incredible rivalries in college football that are going to take place this year there's not a lot of ranked on ranked like texas texas a and m is the one that i think everybody circled that one's got a bunch of stakes on the line but uh the game between my buck eyes and uh and that team up north is uh it was 20 point favorite that's that's not a big number that's a massive number and then uh the iron bowl with with auburn alabama now you know listen every every one of these teams have to show up and you always say with rivalries you got to throw the records out but things can get wild uh but there's there's not a ton of juice but i'm like kind of getting to your question about teams that are in the right position to to make the playoffs i was kind of talking about it this way today on our show uh over on channel 84 college sports radio was uh who walks in to the postseason both both the conference championship weekend and and into the playoff with their their chest out and their shoulders back because to me the story of this season has been the Jekyll and Hyde nature of it that you know we've seen georgia i think georgia is the biggest example of that that they they have looked like a werewolf at times and then other times they've looked like a puppy dog and so which team has been most consistent and which team is playing with the most confidence right now and and for me i you know you can call it a homer homer bias being a buckeye i think ohio state is walking in to this latest part of the season with the most consistent performance and the least amount of questions of hey can we get got this weekend the closest that ohio state uh was in a matchup was in nebraska a month ago and it really wasn't overly close it was just a game that wasn't a blowout so georgia is going into georgia tech this weekend georgia tech's not an easy out and georgia has looked pedestrian at times uh texas texas a and m both you know texas a and m coming off of a head scratcher of a loft so all across college football you've got to kind of look at who's got their chest back and their chest out and their shoulders back and i think it's the buckeyes leads the way ben hartstock is here with us the jr sport reshow coast to coast you talk about the uh the bulldogs do you trust carson beck you trust them in a big moment no no i don't uh listen he he got his mojo back uh the past couple weeks i mean obviously i don't think you can take much in their win over umass uh but the tennessee game was one that he he got back on track but the reality is before that that win he's a guy that he's a guy that had thrown 11 interceptions in the previous five games and so uh the same nervousness i have for georgia is a lot of that lays at his feet same way with what alabama did with jaylen milro who has been a very streaky player doesn't mean these guys are bums it doesn't mean these guys don't have nfl talent it just means that they're still developing as players because that's that's one of the hallmarks between a college player and a pro player is being able to minimize damage when you're having an off night and right now carson beck is a guy you just don't know who you're going to get on any given saturday and well ben we know this weekend as you mentioned we got georgia we got tech we got all these rivalry games what are your thoughts on on south carolina is that defense have they done enough to kind of drag them up the rankings you know what are your thoughts on what will take place when it's them versus clemson this is more of a vanity game but clemson is they're likely going to walk away with the victory right well yeah i mean that that's a close game when you look at the uh what vegas thinks about it and clemson still has a has a path to the uh to the acc championship so they've got more to be playing for technically uh you know it's in the rivalry game obviously everybody you don't need an extra motivation but it's not a bad thing to have uh but for clemson all it takes is miami to lose to syracuse this weekend and and listen miami another team that has been very streaky and finally got uh caught in a loss a couple weeks ago so uh clemson can find its way into the acc championship and then if you get there listen you've got an smu program that is new to the acc was a group of five team a year ago and that sits there with their strength of schedule ranking it was indiana that took a bunch of criticism throughout the late part of the season uh for being ranked almost like over a hundred hundred and third hundred and sixth ranked strength of schedule meanwhile uh smu sitting there at 70 wasn't really questioned so clinton could find its way into the the acc championship and then win that and then clemson who was left for dead after the loss to georgia in the opening week of the season uh could be right back where dabo likes his team to be the former buckeye ben hartstock is joining us here on the jr sport reshow you think about indiana and the rankings are are slowly but surely coming out now colorado now falling into the 25th spot you mentioned indiana we don't have to lose into your squad indiana is going to take uh quite a tumble notre dame last week was ranked sixth we're going to find out where they move up to what are your thoughts on on notre dame especially after they put that whooping up on our army over the weekend in the bronx yeah after ohio state i think notre dame notre dame is the team that notre dame owns the most embarrassing loss of the season to uh lose into northern illinois early in the season uh but but part of the college football regular season is losses in the early part of the season don't carry the same weight they're weighted differently uh but since then they figured out the riley leonard riddle they they figured out how to get him comfortable how much to run him without getting him injured how much to throw him without putting the ball at risk and it took a few weeks and they unfortunately took the l and they're playing with a bunch of confidence really consistent uh they've got the run game going uh with jeremiah love and so they are a a potent dangerous team i don't know that they have the high end output that a georgia has or an oregon has or a texas has uh but they they figured out how to be the best version of what the fighting irish can be ben let me ask you about the team they don't they don't get talked about really at all they've been sitting at number one it's it's the ducks they beat ohio state beach all by one back in in last month what are your thoughts on oregon so oregon absolutely deserves the number one ranking unquestioned because they have taken care of everybody that's been placed in front of them but but kind of going back to my previous point of of heat check of confidence check of swagger check last uh they were on a buy this previous just this past week and the week before that it was a nail biter against the wisconsin team that's struggling to get bowl eligible uh so so they have to be kind of wondering what wait are we why aren't we boat racing everybody we face because the week before that they played a michigan team that was uh the score was not indicative of how competitive that game was so i don't question oregon's does whether or not they deserve being ranked where they are i'm just saying they haven't been as dominant and and and we all know this is with college young men that can be temperamental that you want them playing with a bunch of confidence right now and i think oregon it's it's they haven't had their best foot forward uh in the past couple times they've tried it out on the field well ben right before you joined us we talked about their quarterback dylan gabriel we took a look at some of the other premier quarterbacks who are currently draft eligible your cam wards your shadore sanders there are a lot of teams that are going to be looking for a quarterback in the nfl are they going to be willing to kind of swing for the fences with some of these quarterbacks after shadore and then also cam i'm not so sure what do you think things are going to look like in the draft in april when it's time to move some of these qbs from college the pros especially for teams who have a chance in the first round at a qb yeah it's a down year i think that when you talk to the the jim nagy ceo of the senior bowl and the uh the the scouts that are that are working through the college tape this year in in general there's not a there's not a generational guy and shoot even the generational guys like bryce young got benched this year so uh it's it's kind of a crapshoot so i i don't look at teams to say there's going to be a bunch of movement saying we've got to get to a certain position in that first round uh to get a shadore sanders to get a quinn ewers or to move uh on a cam ward uh doesn't mean these guys can't be honestly i think the best thing that can happen to a quarterback getting drafted is to be pushed down uh the you know the the start the end of the the late first round into the second round to look at a guy right now like tommy john or tommy debito now starting with the giants like not being that that top 10 top 15 pick comes with an enormous amount of pressure and expectation and a lot of times that can derail a career so i don't look at any of these guys and think that they're uh they're no andrew lux in this class they'll get drafted higher than like the way that the nfl structure with the wage scale now you don't you don't set your team back by missing on a quarterback the way that they did in the pre-20 uh what is the 2013 or whatever the most recent cba that put the wage scale uh into place and so there's a there's a it what happens is you can't afford to miss on a lamar jackson so there's always a bit of a curve up for these quarterbacks that they go higher i think than a lot of times their their talent or their their draft grade should be because there's a giant scarcity of missing on that guy that could be a franchise quarterback yeah we know everybody they're getting a little bit more of a chance looks like we're starting to fill out this college football playoff and the latest rankings we saw a bunch of teams take a tumble and a fall uh here ben alabama falls into the 13th spot clemson moves up to 12 boise state is at 11 old miss 14 uh south carolina the game cocks are at 15 uh clemson are you shocked that they have uh kind of slipped up all the way to 12. no i'm not surprised by that now one thing i was waiting to get clarity on that is is duke or uh any other acc teams up into the top 25 did Syracuse make it up into the top 25 there's a few three loss teams that we were me and roddy jones who's an acc guy we were kind of talking about the ability for the uh if you get a couple more depths of conference nods if you get duke and saying Syracuse in there that helps build the resume to get two teams both the conference champion winner obviously in the acc but also the loser in there as well if you can if you can make the argument that the acc is given more credibility as a conference no so as of right now we have colorado colorado falls to 25 here kansas state is at 24 we have illinois at 23 unlv at 22 uh mizzou at 21 anm is at 20 byu has fallen to 19th iowa state 18 the greenway of a two lane is 17 arizona state is in the 16th spot the game cocks are at 15 old miss is 14 alabama 13 and then as i oh we got we got some more that have just come in here ben we fill you in things i love the live reaction it's exciting yeah how about that we got clemson at 12 as i just shared with you we have boise at 11 boise state indiana they fall from five to ten smu moves up to nine tennessee is eight the bulldogs move up to the seventh spot and we we await ben it's pretty much the latest of what we have right there so far so what what i find interesting there is is a and m and uh where where they sit obviously it's a three loss team but they still have a path to the fcc championship so i just i will be so amazed you think they're gonna be texas if it well if they can beat texas and then get into the fcc championship then you've got to wonder if is the fcc championship game loser going to be out well with a and m with three losses and if they had the fourth in the championship i don't think you can make a stance for that but if georgia a team with three losses right now loses the fcc championship it comes back to something that that rich clark would be executive director of the playoff committee said before the season it's best team it's best team it's best team and best team often is or sometimes isn't most deserving and so are you going to penalize the team that georgia right now that's comfortably in for losing an fcc championship that is going to be a really fascinating precedent that the committee is going to set here in year one i know you asked about another acc team uh the answer is no the next acc team that we have to wait is miami who moves up from number eight last week they are number six notre dame moves one spot from six to five penn state is six sits at four and i think we can pretty much assume what the rest of things look like texas is here at three let's see what we got here that'll be ohio state and it'll be oregon ohio state at two and then oregon sits unmoved here undefeated at one thoughts ben any thoughts ben any any thoughts on on what you've heard i know it's i've ran through 25 teams a year what are you thinking no i i think that uh smu needs to win the acc championship to secure its spot and then you've got to see how well the uh if clinton gets in there or obviously if miami gets in it'll it'll clean that up but i i just think it's interesting to see the teams that maybe were outside looking in through a majority of the season how quickly or how far they can climb to potentially make its uh make its way in and uh so that clinton angle is something i'll be really interested to see uh if they get the win this weekend against a south carolina team that uh easily on the outside looking in but they're a team nobody wants to deal with right now a tough draw in the palmetto bowl and as it has has stood and we still have the same four teams that stick around with a buy that being oregon texas miami and then boise state we'll see how things the boise state angle that will solve itself because whomever uh boise state plays in the in the their conference championship won't be as high as the big 12 and that'll that boise state won't be getting a a a buy i think that'll take playoff and give you a quick recap here oregon stays at one ohio state is at two texas is at three penn state stays at four uh indiana sorry goodbye after losing to the ohio state university indiana falls from number five to number 10 also sorry tata see you later alabama they fall from number seven they tumble tumble tumble to the 13th spot clemson rises to 12 indiana 10 smu climbs all the way from 13 to number nine miami is here at six they move up from number eight notre dame they move up as well last week they were six they are five and byu you want to know where they went after another loss byu is now in the 19th spot south carolina here at 15. let's see what they can do if they go out there and be clemson this week um all things considered i wouldn't say there are any massive surprises here i would say from my own vantage point it's nice to see that alabama right now is on the outside looking in i will gladly uh take that oh here we go again picky nobody told ward from last week about his shirt come on he just got the same size shirt he probably got him in 50 different uh you know varieties of white shirt you all hanging up you know just this is monday shirt this is tuesday shirt i think the blazer 2 is the same as last week that doesn't look as ill-fitting as the shirt they switch out the tie but he seems like a man who is just like we're buying give me 50 of these 50 of those keep it all the same does not matter let's just roll on here he went to joseph a bank buy one suit get 23. yeah right how about that oh my goodness nobody told him last week bro you need a different uh different you know what's weird he looks like in a suit like he's a man who never wears a suit like almost like a college football coach in a suit right where like you look at a place he got it off the rack he wears a suit every day he's an ad no you think he wears this black suit this black jacket every day definitely no you don't think so you think your style i don't know he doesn't seem like a stylist i know he's uh he's up in the well does he wear a suit i mean he goes to cold weather every day uh you know i mean it's not winter time in michigan 24 7 i mean yeah football season is cold i bet you in the last two weeks it was cold other than that he could have wore a suit outside no problem he needs a better shirt what do you think he's explaining away right now explaining why alabama fell so far do we really need an explanation he scored three points well i'm saying well what did you see from alabama they're warred on saturday well let me tell you what i didn't see a field play i didn't see a touchdown unless yeah i don't i don't think anything is is uh here to argue about do you take any issue with any of the rankings that we just got not necessarily again i thought indiana would be a lock even with the three touchdown loss to ohio state and you sit see them sitting there at 10 they feel pretty comfortable um in the one that's i think i don't really get this i don't get the share maybe you can help me out here let's talk about south carolina making a run to the playoff at eight no no no if they beat clemson no no no they're not hopping if they do beat clemson they're not hopping alabama who they already lost to yeah no they're not i i think it's just it's a nice story like it's thanksgiving time people got to come up with nice things to talk about right we got to have hope isn't that what we need more of in the world hope and so if you got to find some type of hope even if it happens to be with the game cox then so be it find some hope there but no i don't expect them and i don't give a damn what their defense has been doing i don't expect them to be to beat clemson like how about they do that first it's nice to look at the college football playoff rankings when they get dropped every tuesday we're gonna blink after next week and then we're already gonna be moving on to games the following week no no no no no no no no hickey we got 25 teams here why don't they how about this why are we still doing 25 teams by the time we're now you know a week two weeks left in the season why don't we drop it down to 20 why don't they move it down to to 16 do we do we really still need this big of a bank to rank 25 teams is that not superfluous or is it just me i think it's just you i think you need them in part to help try to sort you know who has good wins and who doesn't like all the top 25 college football yeah because now for the playoff matters this last weekend matters so arizona state you know byu even colorado like there's a four-way tie in the big 12 right now for who can go in and who can get that last spot these rankings matter kansas state is ranked 24th come on what are we doing and you know what that's a good win for our zone of state they just boost up the resume a little bit oh bro come on we know three quarters of these teams aren't winning we're just ranking them for nothing by the time they as they continue on with every edition as we get closer to the end of the year start lopping it off we don't need this we know colorado ain't going into the playoff forget that screw it it's the jr sport it's the jr sport reshow we'll talk more about this on the other side on the infinity sports network
