Well, we've discussed a lot already. We talked about the Bills and the Dolphins. They're going to kick off in about an hour from now. Yeah, the Bills are probably going to beat up on the Dolphins tonight. Thursday night football on Amazon.

We got Ben Johnson. Yeah, the Chicago Bears are 0-2. And now he's telling everybody how bad they are. He's like, we don't even practice hard. Why are you snitching on your own team?

It's just going to make your job worse. Bad idea. Aldell Beckham junior says I'm not retiring. I want to keep on playing. And then LeBron James, he tells us what we already know.

He's He's not retiring yet. He doesn't know when he's going to retire. We just know that he's He's over to hell. Yeah, we we know that. Aren't we all?

Well, most of us are over to hell. Damn it am I no, I'm not over the hill, not yet. I'm getting there, but not yet. Anyway, we got more to get into. In about twenty minutes, we're going to talk some college football.

We got Brian Fisher, who's going to come through and join us from SI. Talk about the transfer portal, why they changed it, what's going on with Deion's quarterback, what's going on with the quarterback at Texas. And we got a lot. It's a disgust. Clemson, Notre Dame, and Miami Get into Nebraska.

And Brian will be here with us in about 20 minutes. Minutes.

Next hour we'll talk about Clayton Kershaw. Justin Verlander, we got two legends going in opposite directions. Very landed doesn't want to quit. Clayton Kershaw, his career is going to be done in about a month or two. Yeah, Clayton Kershaw says, I'm out of here.

I'm going back to my ranch in Dallas. Leave. Me. alone. There's so much to get into.

Of course, at the end of the show, we'll talk about a few things that took place this day in sports history. We got news with Kyler Murray apologizing for dog photos and Michael Vick jerseys and Trey Young and Patrick Beverly a beefin'. Who told these miniature point guards they could argue with each other? Who told them to have a fight? Anyway, We got so much to do.

If you want to be a part of the show, you can. 888-710-4ISN. That's 888. Yeah, that's the only thing. For ISN.

If you use the internet, That horrific place people argue and scream and and say horrible things against each other, You can find me there. not saying anything horrible. I am at JR Sport Brief. Yeah, go ahead and find me. Not difficult.

I'm on Instagram. I'm on Twitter. I'm on. X, whatever the heck they call it. I still type in Twitter when I want to go to X and it sends me right to X.

I can't change, I don't know, fifteen years of uh 16 years of what the hell I been doing. I type in Twitter, I go to Twitter. Anyway, Things change. Times. Change.

One thing that is not changing, and this is kind of crazy. Every day it is like a different lair. We got a different layer of each one of these stories every day. And I'm just like, damn it, is there anything like really noteworthy here? First of all, Botcher, wh which which which which scandal should we touch upon first?

I say, oh, do we want to get away from that? Can I give an option? Bacha, slow down.

Okay, my bad. Damn Botch is ready to just run with it. Damn. If people don't even know what I'm saying, Botcha, come on That's true. They don't have the cut sheet.

Exactly. Bacha, this is a radio show, okay? Slow down. There's two scandals. One Is the Kawhi Leonard situation?

Every day there's something new about Kawhi. A baby dropped money out of the sky. A bird delivered stuff.

Somebody met Kawhi in a back alley, gave him a bag full of money. That's one scandal. And then the other one, not really a scandal. People are hoping that it is, maybe. It's Tom Brady.

Every day there's something new about Tom Brady. about how being a broadcaster on Fox being an owner with the Raiders somehow, some way has skipped over people's conscience over the past, I don't know, year, year and a half. And that it's a conflict of interest.

So, Bacha, now you go ahead. Which one? I would say personally, I would start with The Antonio Piers Tom Brady controversy. Just because the Pablo Torre one It's a lot of numbers and a lot of Wiring money, it's a lot. For someone to listen to.

Well, there's a way that you do it. It's radio. That's why I'm good at my job, Bach, okay? I know, but it's like Pablo, he's very good at what he does. but it's not very entertaining to listen to.

Oh, Bacho. Oh, man. We're going to have to have a talk in a commercial. Bacho, what are you doing here? Oh, sorry, Pablo.

I have no idea. No, not the Pablo. Oh, Pablo. Botcha gotta teach Botcha some things on a commercial break. But I'll listen to Bacha.

Let's go to Antonio Pierce. First, Okay? What does Antonio Pierce have to do with Tom Brady?

Well, We know Tom Brady has been in the news. Monday night football, while his team was getting beat up by the Chargers, there was a shot of Tom Brady. in the Las Vegas Raiders coaching booth. There was a report during the ESPN broadcast. about how this man, Tom Brady, was having multiple conversations and helping to coach the team along with Chip Kelly and and Pete Carroll, and it's just like, Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute here How the heck is he going to do that and he's also broadcasting?

He's also, you know, getting intel on these teams. Is he really? Like, the teams are allowed to get what they want out of him or give him what he wants. There's nothing crazy going on here.

So it's much to do about nothing if you ask me. Tom Brady is not stealing information from anybody. And it's pretty clear he's been doing this for the past two years.

So, why all of a sudden there's a big hubbub? I have no idea because I think people are stupid. Antonio Pierce. coached the Raiders last year. Became the interim head coach the season before that.

After Josh McDaniels left, I know they celebrated the team by having cigars. And then Antonio Pierce got fired last year. His overall record with the team was 9-17. He didn't appear to be the most polished of coaches. And yeah, he had one year.

And he got fired and they put Pete Carroll in his place. And so Antonio Pierce has first hand perspective. On what's goin' on. With the Raiders. And Antonio Pierce was on SiriusXM.

And he basically said What do you think? Of course Tom Brady is. Sharing information. Of course, he's a great resource. Listen to this.

Michael Jordan was the owner for a long time of NBA Team. And then just recently, I believe he was announced to be with NBC Correct. Yep. as you know, helping him out. That didn't happen while he was all there.

So this is unprecedented what we're seeing. I think I would be uncomfortable if it was the other way around, to be honest with you. Because you're not dealing with just a normal person. Tom Grady is the elite of elite, one of the greatest quarterbacks, one of the greatest players in the game. He played against them obviously.

Still do not agree. It's not hard for him to watch a few things on a Friday practice or hear things in a conduction meeting and be like, hmm. But how two bits? And you'd be foolish enough to think that he does not want to share that with the raiders. Because we conversations.

about certain things. Right. And he was very informative about things that he knew or he felt. And that's why you bring in a guy like Tom Brady into your organization to be a minority order, because he gives you those aspects. and different insight that some people train maybe.

So how I would take it, I would be I would be nervous. I think I'll be tight-lipped, which I think most head coaches are when they go into production meetings, they watch it. I think on Fridays, if he happens to be there on a Friday practice, you might want to limit some things. I just think that's a fact. Yeah, it but he's not allowed to attend practices.

Like Antonio Pierce, like the middle portion of what he said is 100% accurate. He's like, yeah, of course Tom Brady is you know, he's gonna have a different perspective because you want his brain. Nothing is gonna change that. But he's not stealing anything that he's not being told or that he doesn't observe on his own. You mean to tell me?

If Tom Brady is sitting around in his house as the Raiders' minority owner his five percent stake, If he's sitting around And he is watching, I don't know, three weeks of Bears game.

Somebody chops up the footage. You mean to tell me that Tom Brady can't call Pete Carroll and Chip Kelly and go, Hey, I've seen this, I've seen this, I've seen this? I don't think the man's job at Fox has a damn thing to do with how much information he's receiving, especially if the coaches aren't sharing anything. This is the biggest Non-issue. than I think I've heard in a long time.

He ain't stealing anything. He's not rummaging through file cabinets. You're not Teething iPads, okay? He's watching football and talking to people. That's what he would do if he didn't work for Fox.

Antonio Pierce continued on and he said, People who said that they're not worried about Tom Brady, they lying. I think everybody's going to give you the political answer and say, oh, it's no big deal. I'm calling BS on that.

Okay. If you me and you was to call a game, they'll be they'll be singer than whatever.

Now, you've got a guy who's a minority owner, a great player. You know he understands the game. You know he sees the game. You have obviously an interest in the Raiders. I just think it's unprecedented.

We haven't seen it Again, I don't want to talk above my means. I don't know what the NFL has. Except for Tom Brady and his rules, but I know he was a great asset for us with the Raiders when I was there. And I think he'll still be a great asset as he's going forward. And I think this does help him out in the winter.

Uh yeah. We got that report too. We got that one. That teams who are playing against the Raiders are worried and they're ticked off about it. And the teams that don't care.

Don't have to play the Raiders. Yeah, thank you. We got it. Who's going to come out next? Is Rob Gronkowski going to tell us something next?

I don't know. What are we doing here? There's nothing going on. Call me When Tom Brady has been found to be a thief. That's what he's gonna need to do.

Because utilizing his eyes and his brain Is not doing a damn thing. Whether he works for Fox Or the whet he whether he's sitting around watching a game with his son. That's not making a difference.

Somebody would have to be stupid enough to give him some information. Or Tom Brady would have to have some scheme where he is stealing. information. Outside of that, everybody just get over it. Is much to do about nothing.

Don't be mad. Don't be upset. If you are going to be upset at anybody, be upset at the owners, okay? They're the ones who allowed this. Conflict of interest?

I think not. Their parameters and and rules that keep him out of the way. He ain't popping up at anybody's facility. Antonio Pierce was wrong in that regard. Everybody just get over it.

Please. eight eight eight seven ten four I S N That's 888-68. 710. Before I S N. Oh.

Ramon is here from Indianapolis. You and the JR support me show us up, remote. Hey, how you doing, JR? How you doing today? Thanks.

Sure. What's on your mind? Uh did you see the uh The um Um Quotes from King and Allen about the Bears. No, I haven't. Educate me.

I just read maybe a couple of hours ago that I guess they talked to Keenan Allen. about why he didn't re-sign with the Bears. And Ken Island said that woke his word. That Uh a Caleb um is a Taylor Williams is a is a selfish Person. You said he called called and came in the locker room one time and asked them all to paint their nails in in a And he said they told him, man, we're here to play football.

This is not a fashion show, nothing like that. Wait, wait, wait a minute. Where the hell did you read? Where did you read this? catching off uh NBC football.

Okay. You mean to tell me ah wait wait wait wait Ramon You mean to tell me? that Keenan Allen publicly said, That the reason why he did not sign back With the Chicago Bears, and he decided to go home to Los Angeles to the Chargers with his family. is because Caleb Williams Asked him to paint his nails and he said no. Are you telling me you read this on NBC Ramon?

Yes, this is a footnote to it, but the main thing is. No, no, no. A footnote. No, I'm just asking because I'm going to have to. I'm going to have to look it up.

It sounds like craft saying that Caleb is a selfish person. Oh, and doesn't and didn't does not really think about anyone else but himself. But that was just a cherry on the top and it was like, no, he knew he had to get out of here by then. And so that that I thought was crazy coming from Chicago area. But Ben Johnson going off again.

I don't know. We talked about Ben Johnson last hour. I find it extremely difficult to believe that Keenan Allen, who's a veteran, who happens to be a grown man in the NFL. Would say such a thing about a younger player. or let alone open himself up to any type of uh criticism like that publicly.

Ah, I doubt it. I doubt it. I will question what the hell you read. I will look it up. And I doubt that I find something.

Okay, I'm going to look it up, Ramon, okay? Look it up. I know you can't. It sounds like a load of crap. I think I can tell you that ahead of time.

You got to be careful what you find on the internet, okay? No, I'm a college graduate. I know how to do sources, so I trust me. How long ago were you in college? Was it yesterday?

No, I teach every day. I mentor and teach all the time.

So I'm with young people now. Yeah. Do we. Dewey Decimal System, what are we talking about? I go way back.

I'm almost 60. Yeah, you know, you know, I remember going to the library, we had to use card readers and go by the number and find the books. Yeah, you know, Okay, Ramon.

Well, I think what you read stinks, but I'm going to look it up. I don't believe it. Hey, Ramon, you can believe anything nowadays, right? You can believe anything or you can't. You can either believe anything nowadays or you may not believe anything.

It goes both ways nowadays. I think what you read was crap. Thank you, Ramon. You're welcome. What you read was garbage, okay?

It was true. Hey, it's Facebook. Come on, man. The heck are you reading? Yeah, I googled it and It was just a Facebook post.

Caleb Williams out here, uh Hey, come on, man, what are we doing? NBC my ass, okay. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. We're going to take a break. When we come back on the other side, we're going to have a chat with Brian Fisher.

Yeah, we got some NFL action tonight. Thursday night football, the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills. We got some college football action heating up tonight. Heating up into the weekend, we got some matches you probably want to see. Auburn, Oklahoma, Illinois, Indiana.

You got Texas Tech and Utah. Man, there's so many other stories as well. What the heck is going on with Arch Manning? Why is Dabo Sweeney so mad? It's Georgia Tech for real.

To talk about all things college football. Joining us right now with someone who covers it all. For SI. His name is Brian Fisher. Brian, we appreciate the time.

Absolutely. Gonna be on with you. No doubt about it. I guess before we dive deep into any of the games and the storylines and the action. I do want to ask you about this change of the transfer portal.

What's the latest on what this new window looks like? What are some of the implications? Educate us.

Well, yeah, you know, I think this is something that's been in the works for, you know, quite a few months now. You know, there's been a lot of discussion both amongst the conferences themselves, amongst the NCA, and various committees. And it does seem like this train is barreling towards the tracks of this getting approved in the next couple of weeks in terms of essentially cutting it down from mostly two portal windows for kids to enter the transfer portal down to one. And that would kind of occur right at the beginning of January for about a 10-day period there, right kind of between the quarterfinal games on January 1st and essentially when the coaches convention takes place in early January. And I think this is going to be a much-needed change for a lot of general managers out there, a lot of head coaches.

It brings a little more sanity to what they have normally been experiencing in December, just in terms of the player movement, in terms of signing day, in terms of really this crazy college football calendar. And I think it's something that a lot of people have been pushing for. I think it's going to ultimately make a big change. Change for the players themselves because no longer can they bail in bull games to enter the transfer portal. They're going to experience some big changes as well.

So I think it's going to be a big thing for them moving forward. And so what implications will this have on teams that are are actively in the playoff? Yeah, I think that's still kind of a bit of an unknown. And you are seeing some pushback from some teams that you would expect to be in the playoffs Ryan Day had some comments about this not being the window. A lot of Big Ten coaches would have preferred really the transfer portal to open after even the spring itself, you know, kind of way after the season.

So, you know, not everybody's truly totally on the same page with this, but I think for most college football teams out there, this is really only going to impact a very, very select few programs, a select few teams themselves, really a select few players that would have any kind of questionable decisions in terms of entering that transfer portal or not. And, you know, keep in mind, even for those teams that do make it to the CFP semifinals or even the final game, they can still put their name in the transfer portal and still play with their teams through January. But you got to keep in mind, there is an academic component that has been brought up before with a lot of people that, hey, you got to get enrolled in school. And so a lot of these kids are going to have to make those decisions to actually get enrolled in school.

So I think that's going to speed up the movement. and and and compact it into a little bit more tighter time frame. But uh ultimately, I think it can align for both the coaching staffs, the the personnel staffs that are that are putting together these rosters and the players themselves to not only make a decision, find your next school and kind of move on from there uh pretty quickly come January. Brian, you mean to tell me that when it comes to college football and athletics, academics still matters some type of way? You mean to tell me that still matters?

Well, you know, as much as these kids are taking classes online, you know, that is still the name of the game. And I think that's something that did get lost a lot in terms of the player movement that's happened over the last couple of years. How about that? Academics and college football. Brian Fisher is here with us.

Uh from SI. When you talk about the playoffs, Man, we expected a little bit more out of Texas. We expected a little bit more, maybe, out of Arch Manning. I'll put it to you this way, Brian.

Somebody called this week. and said, that Archmanning is only in his current position. Because of his last name. What would you say to that? I disagree significantly for that.

I think that the funny thing about Arch and all the not only the play on the field, but really all the discussion around him these last couple of years since he enrolled at Texas was the Texas staff, when they saw him in practice, they saw the signs of him being a good quarterback. We saw flashes certainly when he did get that starting opportunity last year in a couple of games when Quinn Hurricane was hurt. There was a lot to build on in terms of, hey, this guy looked the part. You certainly understood from the board work, from the understanding of the offense, like he got it to be the quarterback that everybody kind of hyped him up for. And I don't know if it's kind of the yips this season or whether, you know, it's just not translating in terms of the speed of everything that's kind of being thrown at him now that some defenses have really been able to kind of study him and design game plans around him.

But, you know, something's not clicking. Certainly they're in the 40 acres for Arch and for Texas' offense. This is still an offense that had to replace a lot of offensive line. And is breaking in a lot of new weapons.

So, like, this is not quite the same Texas team that we saw make it to the semifinals last year. And I think that is important to keep in mind. The flip side is that I think Arch can still be that guy. You know, he can still live up to the building. Maybe it takes him a while.

You know, his footwork has been really, really off. You know, I think that seeing him warm up for that Ohio State game, like, you know, he was like, you know. You know, from the mechanics, from the footwork to how he threw the ball, his arm strength, you know, he ticked off all those boxes. But as soon as those staff kind of started flying at him and, Defense were able to adjust to him. He just has not been the same kind of quarterback that I think even Texas fans and even the Texas coaching staff would point to, you know, what they saw last year.

So he can still get back to that. I'm not as worried about him. You know, I think he will figure things out. I think that Texas staff will figure things out. But the bottom line is he's got to play better.

He knows that. And I think there's a recognition that Texas is going to be better if he can get into that proper state of mind on the football field moving forward. Yeah, there's a bunch of QBs that, whether injury, expectations, they haven't lived up to billing guys like DJ Lagway, Garrett Nussmeyer. Club Nick, and now we got quarterbacks.

Well, their coaches are throwing fits. Dabbo Sweeney is already. Combative about his future. Why? I don't know.

Brian Kelly is lashing out reporters and then apologizing. I mean, it's early in the season. These guys are well established. Why are they so angry so early, Brian? Oh, I wish I knew.

You know, everybody's definitely quite ornery early in the year right now. And I think a lot of it comes down to understanding that in this 12-team era, guys like Brian Kelly, guys like Dabbo, they are expected to make the playoff. And so whenever you start one and two or you start to even don't even have a perfect performance on the field, there are going to be question marks in terms of, hey, you still got a lot of ranked opponents down the stretch in terms of your schedules. How are you going to get over that hump and still make it into the playoff? Clipson was a great example last year of kind of backing into the playoff.

But I think nowadays fan bases are quite demanding, especially those that, let's face it, have the rosters to be in that mix. There's a reason why a lot of people pick Clipson, not only just to make the playoff in the preseason, but to get to the title game, maybe even win a national title with what they had coming back. They have not translated that. On the field this season. And I think you're starting to see some of that pressure seep in to those football buildings and to those football coaches.

And that's kind of an understanding of where we're at, not only in terms of the media environment right now in college sports, but also understanding the pressure that these coaches and these players are under, not just to get to the playoff, but to perform kind of at that national title level throughout the season. Not just one game, but all 13 weeks of the regular season. You talk about pressure.

Well, Brian Fisher is joining us from SI. I don't know if there's pressure here. I feel like everybody's riding on Cloud9 right now. I'm talking about Georgia Tech. They're like three blocks away from me.

They're carrying goal posts into people's swimming pools and Haines King is the guy. Do you think Georgia Tech is for real? I do. And I think some of that is down to the schedule that they're going to play. Getting that.

That Clinton win. You know, that was probably their biggest hurdle early in the season. Look, they've got a game against Temple coming up. They're on the road against Wake, which is one of the teams certainly that are trending towards the bottom of the ACC right now. Maybe you could pencil in that trip to Duke kind of mid-year as being potentially tricky.

But let's face it, they're probably going to be favored at least by a touchdown, if not more, in every single ACC game the rest of the way this season. And that's on top of having Georgia right down the road there at Mercedes-Benz.

So this schedule really does shape up well for the Yellow Jackets. And I give Ritten Creed. Brent Key, a lot of credit, the head coach there. He has built a tough and physical and hard-nosed team, and he's got a quarterback in Haynes King that he can build around as well.

Well, Brian, let's talk about some of these matchups and games this weekend. We got some good ones: Illinois and Indiana. We got Auburn and Oklahoma. We can see a quarterback who people are high on right now in John Matier, Texas Tech and Utah. Is there anyone in particular that you're looking to really watch?

And maybe there's another one. Did we lose Brian? Brian, you still there? Oh damn, Brian just Damn. Damn, I asked him about more football.

Brian said, Hey, I had enough Hey, we'll see what's going on with Brian. Shout outs to Brian for joining us. From Sports Illustrated. We'll see if he can join us for a few minutes. If not, we appreciate Brian.

for his time. Yeah, we do have some good matchups. I I'm really really trying to see what happens between Auburn and Oklahoma. I know my man J.R. Dare I call him the original J.R.

Jim Ross? The voice of professional wrestling. I know he's a big fan of the Sooners. You know what, maybe? I gotta see what he's doing tomorrow.

Maybe we can get Jim Ross to to come on. and join us. I I gotta shoot Jim a note. Good old JR. And see what he's doing.

I know he's pretty high on his students right now.

So I'm looking forward to seeing what Auburn and Oklahoma. what they got going on this weekend. Thank you so much to Brian Fisher. for coming through and joining us. Damn.

Maybe he got abducted by aliens. Hey, we appreciate you, Brian. Anyway, we're going to take a break. 888-710-4ISN is the number. That's 888-710-4ISN.

Hey, thank you so much to Brian Fisher for joining us in the last break. He was either abducted by aliens Or his phone battery died. That man had a solid connection. Thank you so much, Brian, for coming through. to talk some college football.

I wanted to ask him about Dion and that quarterback Carousel. Yes, Deion's just going to coach, take that money this year. He's going to coach next year. And if it doesn't work, Deion's going to be like, I'm out, I'm leaving. We'll see.

We'll see what happens. Plenty. of time. When we get to the top of the hour, I want to talk about two players that are.

Well, one guy's actually retiring. And another guy's just like, I won't quit yet. I'm going to tell you who they are. In about twenty minutes, of course. course next hour.

And about thirty minutes from now we have the start of Thursday night football. between the Miami Dolphins, And the Buffalo Bills.

So we got a lot to get into. But first things first, before we get into this, Kawhi. a Leonard controversy before we were joined by Brian Fisher. One of our callers, remote from Indianapolis, happens to bring up One of the more ridiculous things that I've heard And he found it to be accurate, and he brought it to us. And now I want to tell you how ridiculous things can be on the internet.

Ramon came on. And he said that he read on NBC. Yes, the National Broadcasting Channel. The NBC dot com, I gather. He saw a story about how Keenan Allen, decided that he wanted to return to the Los Angeles Chargers.

And leave the Chicago Bears. Because Caleb Williams was not a leader, and in one instance he wanted his team mates to paint their fingernails. in solidarity. Come on now. What are we doing?

Like, I just hear that, and I go, Could I hear this grown man saying this? Like This could I hear any NFL players saying that? Like, this is not Antonio Brown.

Okay, we'll just Basha, is he Yeah. Isn't there still a warrant out for his arrest? Yes, he's still in the middle of I don't know where, and nobody can find Antonio Brown. He's not in America. How about that, right?

He's not in America? I don't know if he's on Earth anymore at this point. He may not come back. If he lands in America, the next thing you know, that man's going to end up in handcuffs. What they trying to get him for firing a weapon in a crowded place or something like that, right?

I think he shot. Did he actually shoot someone or an impact? I think he shot at somebody. Yeah, he was saying that he was getting robbed and I think he took somebody's weapon and and shot at somebody. And there's a a warrant out for his arrest.

And we don't know where he is. The last I remember from a month or two ago, he was. taking photos in the Middle East somewhere. I don't know if Antonio Brown's in the Middle East, but uh He's not in handcuffs. I don't know.

He's Beaten the system so far. Uh uh but anyway. If Antonio Brown says something like that, I go, Yeah, that really came out of that guy's mouth. But I can't see Keenan Allen. Who I just heard.

Last, I heard the man last week on CBS. I read it. Not even read it. I saw him say it in an interview with my own two eyes. I heard it with my own two ears.

Keenan Allen said that he was happy to return home to his family. And that his kids were just like, wait a minute, daddy, you don't have to travel anymore. He's like, no, I'll be right here. Back home. And that was one of the reasons that he returned to the Chargers.

That's what I heard last week. Not that he wanted to leave Chicago because Caleb Williams asked him. to paint his fingernails. Like, what are we doing?

Now Botcha, you actually you have sourced this information? It is not an NBC. Where is it?

So, when you actually write the words Keenan Allen, Caleb Williams, Nails, and Selfish in the same term. You can find one hit on Twitter. or X and that's like someone saying, Yeah, it's a fake article where these words were said. And then if you Google it. A fake Facebook post pops up.

And it's just a picture of Keenan Allen with a Charger Jersey practice shirt on, and it says the quote Oh, come on, man. Ramon, how did you get God? I told you it was fake information, bruh. Come on. Like could you re like think about this?

Could you really see an NFL player? Let's even go even further. Could you really see a rookie? NFL player. Going over to a veteran and I was standing around in a locker room going, Hey guys, in order for us to work together and be a team.

We have to paint our nails. Like, what are we doing?

Could you really see that happening? Like, we would have heard that stuff. Like, they would have got laughed at. We would have heard that. Come on, man.

You can't fall for everything. Man, there's so many of these stupid, ridiculous, fake stories and posts on. On Facebook. I mean, at this point, I see some of these stories and I read them myself and I go, what is this? And then they get passed along as real and people fault Ramon Do he said he's in school working with students.

Students aren't on Facebook, they're on Discord and And TikTok. Bacha, help me out. What am I missing here? Snapchat? Instagram.

Snapch people are still on Snapchat? Very little. Man, wait who's using Snapchat? People who have OnlyFans accounts, are they using Snapchat? Probably.

That it it seems like the easiest route from one to one. Yeah, why yeah. Yeah, it seems like it, doesn't it? And shout outs to Ramon from any stay off of Facebook, okay? Delete it.

You know, stick to talking to your family. Don't don't read these articles on a Or Facebook. Uh bad idea. A false information. Damn.

What a world. What a world. I can tell you what's not false information. Every day we get new news, uh, an update on Kauai. Pablo Torrey sitting around every day, every week on his podcast, and it's just like he's finding.

More money that went to Kauai. More money. Every week is something new. It's just like, yeah, well, the company was floundering, and then one of the. Clippers minority partners put two million in and, you know, 1.75 of it went to Kauai.

Steve Ballmer, before the company went bankrupt, is like, hey, I put in 50, let me put in some more. Where did that money go? Straight to Kawhi. And what does Kawhi do? Nothing.

sits at home eating I don't know if Kawhi eats Cheetos. It doesn't look like it. I don't know. Bach, what does Kawhi eat on his off time? Bolts.

And screws. He's a robot. Bolts and screws. You're right about it. Maybe he's plugged into his.

His closet. It's crazy. They found all these ways around of which Kawhi got money. And Pablo Torre is like, I spoke to the CFO, I spoke to the accountant, and then he's just like, yeah. Mark Cuban brought up a point and then I wanna ran with it.

Listen to Pablo Torre. Listen to that. Aspiration, for those not familiar, was functioning as a broker for carbon credits. According to my sources, they were charging a dollar a tree. That's five to ten times what it costs to plant a tree, the ten to twenty cents, reportedly.

And so that is the margin that Mark Cube is referring to in his tweet. Just get more carbon credits. All that margin is what you'll use to pay Kawhi Leonard. And so the piece of paper, Dan, that I would like you to turn over. Which nobody else has reported yet.

At the top of the page, I see the Clipper's logo, and it says East West Bank, and it says payment to Aspiration Sustainable Impact Services LLC. Please allow this letter to confirm approval by LA Clippers LLC of a withdrawal of 20. $20,961,382 from escrow account number blank. The withdrawn amount will be used to fund the following carbon projects. June 14th, 2022.

This letter that you just read says. That they're withdrawing $21 million to fund carbon projects. And then it is signed at the bottom, Dan, for the record here, by who? Is that the chief financial officer? That is the chief financial officer of the Clippers.

And this, I'm told, was enough to not only pay Kawhi Leonard, obviously, it was enough to hit his fundraising target. It was enough to keep the company afloat two weeks. Two weeks, Dan. Before Kawhi's initial no-show payment was due on June 30th, 2022. The numbers and dates and they align perfectly.

Like can we just get to the punishment already? And I know the NBA is investigating what's going on with Kawhi and what's going on with the Clippers and who took money and where the money came from. Let's just get it. Overweight. All right, at this point.

We're we're about a month away. From the start of the NBA season. Regular season will be under way. We got training camps that are going to come through. NBA teams training camp now at this point.

Media Day lasts like a week. Go play some preseason games, waste everybody's time. And then the real season. begins. Can we have some type of judgment here?

I don't know, make Steve Ballmer. could find him Bacha, how much did he find him? A million, hundred million dollars, I don't know. Is a hundred gonna hurt him? I would say no, nothing's gonna hurt him.

I don't know. If you do twenty per year for the next six years. It's just there. Oh. Well, they gotta punish them as it relates to the cap or something like that, right?

They ain't got no draft picks. Could you take away their taxpayer exemption? You gotta tap you gotta tighten the reins on them a little bit more. Yeah, there there's a lot of things you could do. But will any of those help?

The players' association with getting deals, probably not The Players Association. Yeah, it's just there's a lot of. Probably conversations happening right now. And I really think the the most logical out Answer for this is you avoid Kawhi's contract, and then you take away the next available picks. For the is that actually punishing him?

Why? Yeah, he doesn't want to play anyway. Yeah, but he got paid a lot of money.

Now he's going to be able to pick another team that he can go to. I don't know, man. But how many teams can physically sign him to the deal that he thinks he deserves? You don't think the man would just sign a minimum?

Well, if if he's g looking for Another big deal before he's done. This man has gotten so much money in a back alley. Like, how much more money does he need? That's true. He got paid to do nothing.

I think he's good financially. Let's see what happens. This is a very interesting case. How are you going to punish one of the richest owners in professional sports? A guy, you can't punish a guy who doesn't even play basketball.

Uh uh he's made a lot of money already. They're giving him money behind the table. What is he gonna do? Give him back? Ain't nobody giving no money back.

Clippers are just uh They're going to be in the toilet for a long time. Just understand that. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you, coast to coast, on the Infinity Sports Network. We're gonna take a break when we come back. I'm gonna tell you about somebody in LA.

He does things above board. People love this guy. In his career, Is coming to a close. It's not LeBron James. I'm going to tell you who in Los Angeles is retiring.

on the other side of the break. And then I'm gonna tell you about somebody. He old as hell and he got a supermodel wife. He ain't leaving. It's the JR Sport reshow the Infinity Sports Network.
