Okay. Have you ever Have you ever had like renovations in your office or? A change to your office space in any way. I have been tinkering with my studio space, let's call it. And as of two hours ago, it was an utter disaster.
But I got the bare minimum set up and it it's like my studio space is now inverted. You know, all like my plugs are on the wrong side. I had it all nice and set up, but I was ordered by the warden. To move my studio area to the other corner in our bedroom where I have these giant pop-up things that you would see if you go to like if you go to like a radio station event or something like that. I bought the old uh big eight footers to Make sure I could like throw some packing blankets over it and really try to soundproof the best I can to make it the absolute best home quality that I could do.
And uh and you know yeah, I I have that weird feeling like whenever you're doing you go in and your office is either turned around or different or you had to pack up and move to a different desk or something like that. I know I did it to myself. And I know it's i in my home base. Like So, I'm not complaining. I guess I'm just noting that I'm feeling a little weird right now as I sit down and like everything that was to my left is now to my right.
Everything that was to my right is now to my left. And I don't know. I don't know. It's just odd and weird as I start the JR sports brief tonight in for JR here on the Infinity Sports Network. NFL week two season has already begun.
Green Bay beat Washington twenty-seven to eighteen last night and Ugh. I'm not normally one that gets suckered into saying stuff like this. All right?
So I'm going to, you know, I'll own it and everything. I'm not normally one. that kinda takes the cheese on a football team early.
Well boy oh boy, you can't argue. That the Green Bay Packers don't look pretty good, and that the trade from Micah Parsons didn't put a little juice into that football team.
Now, maybe they would still be 2-0. But doesn't it feel like a a different kind of 2-0 for Green Bay? It feels like the kind of 2-0 where they're building momentum. The fans are really buying in. It's a great atmosphere to play in Green Bay, and they made it even better and more hostile by bringing in a big-time defensive player, somebody that you got to know where they are at all times in Micah Parsons.
And he only had two tackles and half a sack last night. But the buzz that guy has provided Green Bay, the juice I think that football team has gotten from having Micah Parsons in Green Bay. I'm not going to sit here and tell you they're going to the Super Bowl. But they feel like a team that is putting together the right elements to go on a run. And Yesterday, Jordan Love did something that he didn't do that he didn't do very often last year.
Last year, when the throws went over 30, here came the interceptions.
Well, yesterday. Jordan Love goes 19 of 31 for 292, two scores and no interceptions.
So they gotta they have to lean on him a little bit more than And then say Josh Jacobs. And it's over thirty-one throws and no interceptions. And when Green Bay got into trouble last year. It was because they had to rely on the quarterback to throw it too much, and then there came the turnovers. But Green Bay, a balanced offensive team.
Defensively How could you not like what Edrin Cooper and Quay Walker did last night? I thought those guys were flying around defensively. I thought the Packers were kind of buzzing around. And look, if you're a Commanders fan, All is not lost. I think at the end of the year We will probably look back on this loss for Washington and contextualize it very differently than we do right now.
Because I think Green Bay is going to go on a little bit of a run here. This feels like Maybe they get to an NFC championship game and then poof and, you know, it's back into a pumpkin. But Green Bay looks like they have a lot of the right elements. to be a really good team. And they could add along the way because when you're with Micah Parsons and you trade two first-round picks and you have committed the money that you have committed to that guy, you're all in anyway.
And if you're sniffing it and you got a chance in your Green Bay, you got to do whatever you got to do at the trade deadline to get done what you need to get done so that you can be the best team that you can be. But. I did there's that part of me that didn't want to sit here tonight and be like, ah, Green Bay feels like a team about to go on a run and really, you know, take the cheese in a big way. No pun. But I really did after watching last night's game.
Washington is good, not great. Washington is a playoff team. I think they're more of a ten win playoff team than being a twelve you know than being the twelve win team that they were from last year. And that's okay. And that's okay.
Because Washington really came out of nowhere.
So if there is going to be a little bit of a backslide, it's really not the end of the world for Washington. But I was just really, really impressed with Green Bay last night. They feel like a team. that believes. And I know that everybody can sit there and go, well, every team believes.
Do they really? Does it really show up? Are they really rallying around each other? Or is it just the situation that they're in that makes people convenient teammates? To me.
It feels like the Green Bay Packers have really come together. And I give Brian Gudekunst all the credit in the world. Feeling Making the big move and going out and getting Micah Parsons. It may not necessarily Get them to the Super Bowl. But it's a move that you make when you think you can or you want to.
Go to the Super Bowl. Chris Perkins, who covers the Miami Dolphins, will be with us at 6:25 Eastern Time tonight. Um It feels like there's a big mess in Miami. Behind the scenes, it feels like a mess. On the field, it was a mess in Indianapolis.
Then you end up having another off field issue With uh with the cheetah. Who just, you know. Can't stay out of his own way, in all honesty. Here's how I kind of view the Miami Dolphins right now. They are an undisciplined organization.
And I don't know if their head coach really has any control of the football team. from the outside, uh it feels like the guy doesn't. Already a team's already a players-only meeting. You know, that stuff ain't good. That stuff ain't good, especially early in the year, where the questions were.
you know, what about reintegrating Tyreek Hill after he basically quit on the team at the end of the year? And to a tongue of Ilo even had mentioned, yeah, that's stuff we got to work through as a team and as a as a as a football family, so to speak. But it just there's I don't think Mike McDaniel is the kind of guy that if it starts to circle the bowl, I think he's a flusher versus a scooper or a fixer. If the ship is starting to go down. To me, Mike McDaniel's not one of these guys who's going to be able to save the day.
Now look. For those of you who've listened to me any amount of time here on the Infinity Sports Network, you know that I kind of make fun of. Of all of these fans Who, you know, just, I mean, void their bowels when they hear that someone's offensive coordinator is coming in to take over as head coach. You know, and that's what it was in Miami a couple years ago, or, you know, a couple years ago. and with a little bit of at least making the playoffs.
Mike McDaniel has gained a little bit of respect, but I think A lot of people have been watching that organization and that team for a long time. Because it felt like they were going backwards. They lost various talents along the way. I think their head coach has lost the team, quite honestly. And there are just some guys that are meant To be coordinators in the NFL.
There are some guys who are just meant to only coach 22. Not 53. And to me, Mike McDaniel is one of those guys. Where, when it's all said and done, and Miami fires him in a couple of weeks, that's my prediction. That he'll get back in line to go be an offensive coordinator somewhere and try to maybe rebuild the resume a little bit.
And maybe learn some lessons on, you know, you can't have a disciplineless football team. You gotta have some rules and regs for people to follow. And you got to be a voice. You got to be the voice that That commands these men in the room, and you gotta get them to respect you. Like, you know, when we were here in Alabama.
That you know, maybe they don't respect Kalin DeBoer. They're up late on a game night against FSU and they're like ordering food and stuff like that. That just lets you know that the the you know, th those players that Those players in Alabama, they don't respect that guy.
However I do think there was some respect for Mike McDaniel. But once everything went down with Tyreek Hill last year and him basically trying to like turn around and quit on the team. Man, I really think that's a big test for a head coach. And I don't know how much that is a part of What is going on in Miami? I also just think they're a soft football team.
When you lose to a thermometer, ladies and gentlemen, and that's what happens under Mike McDaniel. They play in the cold. They ain't winning. It's that simple. And More of that is to come.
unless there are big changes to come, and there might be in Miami. They catch New England this weekend. New England has not had a New England's not had a great run of success. at all really in Miami over the last couple of years. And even in the heyday when the Patriots are really good, that was always a tough game to go down and win.
One of the other, one of the really, I think, in terms of just overall importance to. The AFC and the NFC playoffs. 425 Eagles at the Chiefs. Excuse me, there is so much on the line. And When you When you think about the Chiefs losing week one, And Buffalo winning week one.
We're really going to look back on that Buffalo-Baltimore game and said, wow, that is the first game of the season, but boy, did that have some stakes to it. And I'm not talking about a a nice gribe a nice ribeye grilled medium with a uh you know, with some nice uh onion salt on it. Huh. I'm talking about stakes as in this game could decide the number one seed. And if you're the Kansas City Chiefs.
At home. against a team that I think matches up against them very well. I don't think Kansas City wins this game. I think the Eagles. Go out and they run the ball, and they're physical, they're aggressive.
Yes, it's close. Ultimately, Kansas City will make a comeback, but I just think. They come up short against the defending world champions. And then, if you're Kansas City, you're then 0-2. And week four Baltimore comes rolling into Kansas City.
Man, that's why Baltimore is going to look back on that Buffalo loss, and it's going to eat at him. It's going to eat at him. because I think they will come to know and realize they had the number one or they could have had the number one seed, and they had a fifteen point lead in the fourth quarter And then blew it once again.
So, in terms of a thirty thousand-foot view of things. That Eagles Chiefs game has big ramifications. uh up and down the uh up and down the AFC. And if you're Kansas City. And you know, you're not in it for the number one seed.
They have gone on the road and done it before. But man, not having that rest. where this Chiefs' organization is right now. Is where the New England Patriots found themselves, I think, kind of going into the 07 season. There was a lot of change.
Players have left. Brady got hurt. But ultimately, at the end of the day, You know, what are you gonna what how how how are you going To find ways to keep reinventing your football team. And that's where the Chiefs are right now. The Chiefs are remember New England there was 01 to 04.
And then there was losing Charlie Weiss and Romeo Crinnell, a little bit of reinvention in 05, 06, but in 07 it was go get Randy Moss, here's Wes Welker, they're blowing doors, they're scoring points left and right. You know, that was a very different version of, say, the New England Patriots. And with the Kansas City Chiefs, that's what I wonder. How are they going to reinvent? How are they going to be in figuring out different ways to build football teams around Patrick Mahomes as he gets older?
And you might have to do it a little differently. You might have to invest more in the run game. You may have to. You may have to invest more on defense. And realize that your quarterback's going to renegotiate his contract every year to be able to make something like that happen.
But overall, when you look up and down the NFL card. Right. Are they there's some bad games? Uh Giants Cowboys is not particularly enticing. But, you know, like Rams, Titans, Patriots, Dolphins, Niners, Saints, Bills, Jets.
Ah, one side's pretty good. Seahawks, Steelers feels like an even battle. Browns, Ravens. Broncos at the Colts. Am I missing something on the Colts?
Should I be respecting them? 'Cause they don't. I think the Broncos handle business. Panthers and the Cardinals. Oh, my God.
That's like two teams looking at the mirror. And then the Eagles and the Chiefs, the Falcons and the Vikings. And then we got a doubleheader on Monday Night Football, everyone. It is the Bucs at the Texans and the Chargers at the Raiders. That is Monday at 10 Eastern.
out in uh out in Las Vegas. Coming up next, we'll go to Miami and find out just how bad things really are. Chris Perkins covers the Dolphins for the South Florida Sun Sentinel. We'll talk to him about everything, Mike McDaniel, and the game coming up against New England.

You're listening to the JR Sport Brief, Keirs Fresh. Gresham for JR tonight, and there have been rumblings for a while that maybe things aren't great in Miami. It didn't end great last year when Tyree Kill decided to say, nah, maybe I don't want to do this for this team anymore. It was a part of the talk going into the year. A disaster of a performance in Indianapolis.
More off-field issues. Just how bad is it in Miami? Let's find out. Chris Perkins covers the Dolphins for the South Florida Sun Sentinel. He is with me here on the Infinity Sports Network.
Chris, Andy Gresh, how are you? Andy, I think I'm better than Mike McDaniel. I'll put it to you like that. Yeah, I mean, is it as bad as it seems to be from afar? It's bad.
I don't know if it's as bad as it seems to be from afar, but I'll tell you this. They need to win in the worst way on Sunday because week three has them going to Buffalo on Thursday night. Mike McDaniel is one and six against Buffalo on a six-game losing streak, and he's lost all four games up there at Highmark Stadium. I don't believe that there's ever a such thing as must win in week two of the NFL. But this game comes about as close as you can get to it.
Because I think a lot of players would lose faith in Mike McDaniel if they don't win this week. Yeah, Chris, can you provide a little perspective on the whole players-only meeting that went down? Was it like in the preseason? Was it recently? What can you tell us all about the team gathering without the coaches, which is always a good sign?
Yeah, you know what? I'm a little unclear on it.
So I know that they met this week. I wasn't out there today to kind of expound on it, but I'll tell you this. In November, I wrote a column about the team meetings that they had had last year. That was at the time that they were two and six. And I went to four veterans that I trust.
Fullback Alec Ingold, reserve offensive tackle Kendall Lamb, starting offensive tackle Teron Armstead, and starting defensive tackle Zach Seeler. And I asked them about the team meetings, and they said, Yeah, we've already had a few team meetings. And so they said that, you know, really it's just a chance for players to air what's going on and make sure that we're all on the same track. I know that that's kind of what happened. What I'm unclear on is, you know, Tua has kind of organized some team film watching sessions on Tuesdays.
And they told me last year when they have the team meetings, all 69 players are there, 53 active roster players, 16 practice players. Right. So they get a conference room or a meeting room there on the facility. What I'm unclear on this year, this week, is if that meeting was all 69 players were there or just the guys who were there on Tuesday watching film on their off day and they decided, let's talk about some stuff. Having said that, though, there was a team meeting this week, and It's unusual to have a team meeting after week one, but with this team, it's not unusual to have team meetings.
Like I said, by the halfway point last year, they had already had a few team meetings.
So I don't know the gravity of it, but yeah, it is a little unusual when you hear there's a team meeting after week one. Chris, before the latest off-field incident for Tyree Kill. Where was his standing within the Dolphins? And I ask because of the end of last year and the comments at the beginning of training camp from Tua basically saying, Yeah, he's got to kind of earn some trust back. Where was Tyreek in that earning the trust back?
And then where do we kind of stand now with another off-field incident with him? I think the big thing with Tyreek is producing on the field. I think everybody knows that Tyreek has got some, for lack of a better term, knucklehead tendencies away from the field. And we saw that last season before the start, before the opener. Remember, he got detained by law enforcement right outside the stadium.
That's right. That's right, yes. And then he ends the season after the finale with the I'm out. You know, I don't want to be here. And I'll say this: I was there for the, I'm out, I was there for all of this stuff.
Uh i after the Jets finale, just for perspective. Tyreek did not want to speak. And I don't usually push a player. I was right there asking him to speak. He said no, he walked out of the locker room.
One of the media relations players made him come back in the locker room and speak. And at that point, I think Tyreek was a little bit angry and blah, blah, blah. And so the I'm out thing came out. I don't know that Tyreek really meant that, but whatever. He's responsible for what he says.
So Tua, you know, did say that he's got some making up to do. You know, I think they know that Tyreek is a little flighty. You know, again, he's got some knucklehead tendencies.
So I really, to me, it's about performance. I don't think that they really look to Tyreek to be a team leader. He was not voted a team captain this year after being voted a team captain the previous three years. I think players kind of understand where they are with Tyreek. But I'll say this, Tyreek is essential personnel.
And here's the stat that I always give for Tyreek with the Dolphins. Since 2023, they are 11-0 and average 35 points per game when he has 100 or more yards in a game. They're seven and 17 and average just 18 points per game when he has 99 or fewer.
So, Tyreek is the key when averaging 35 points per game and being 11 and 0, Tyreek opens up so much stuff for other players on the field. He commands so much attention from the defense.
So, he is what makes this offense go. The problem is, and I've said this all the time also. The Dolphins cannot beat good teams. And so in the last two years, they are 2-10 against playoff teams. Neither Tyreek nor Jalen Waddle has a 100-yard game in those 12 games.
And Tua has 15 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
So it's a one-dimensional offense. It all depends on Tyreek. I think the players realize that with Tyreek.
So it's just to me, Tyreek standing is kind of get out there and produce. We're not going to really follow your lead. We're not going to look to you, but we need you to produce. To me, one of the keys this season is getting that tour to Tyreek connection going. Tyreek is a central personnel for this team.
Hey, Chris, defensively, where are the Dolphins and what exactly happened in Indianapolis? Oh, it was a disaster defensively. Obviously, they just couldn't get anything going. To me, the front seven of this defense has to lead the way early, especially until they can get the Tua to Tyreek connection going. But on the front seven, they're led by their edge rushers: Bradley Chubb, Jalen Phillips, Shock Robinson, Matthew Judon.
They didn't get any pressure on Daniel Jones last week. They only had one sack, and so Daniel Jones has a good game. This week against Drake May coming into Hard Rock Stadium at one o'clock. Where it's gonna be hot, it's gonna be humid. The edge rushers have to use that to their advantage.
They've gotta get past Will Campbell, the rookie left tackle, and get some pressure on Drake May. You know, the inside backers, Jordan Brooks and Terrell Dodson, they've got to stop the running game. Last year, you know, this was the number four defense in the NFL. They were number nine against the run, number nine against the pass. They've got to make this a one-dimensional offense for New England, stop the run, and force Drake made a pass.
But I'll tell you this. These cornerbacks are not very good.
So, when you force this team to pass, you gotta hope that the front seven gets home because. If you get into this secondary, you have an opportunity to make some plays. The, you know, they do have safety Minka Fitzpatrick, but aside from that, It's a young, unproven secondary. You know Jalen Ramsey is gone. Their best cornerback was Cater Cohu, the slot.
He was injured in training camp with a knee injury last week. The second best cornerback, Storm Duck, one of the outside corners, sustained a foot or ankle injury. He's gonna be out for a few weeks.
So the secondary is very weak.
So it's kind of strange to say you want to make New England one-dimensional. But you need to rely on the front seven and the pass rushers specifically. And by the way, I mentioned the edge rushers. Defensive tackle Zach Seeler is coming off back to back 10 sack seasons.
So you need to get some push up front and on the edges. That front seven is going to be the key to the game to me. Chris Bergens of the South Florida Sun Sentinel breaking down some Dolphins football and just how bad it is down there in Miami right now. With me here on the Infinity Sports Network, Chris, how long do you think the runway is for Mike McDaniel? And Is he already kind of on notice?
Is the watch begun? Does it get to a point to where he kind of would be on notice? What's your best read on sort of the the the safety of the head coach right now? He's 100% unnoticed, no doubt. Mike McDaniel has a 28 and 24 record.
in three years with the Dolphins 28 and 26 if you include the 02 mark in the playoffs. And you know, really to me, the big thing is I've always said about this team, they have underachieved and they've disappointed. Know and this is a team that should be doing much better than they're doing. I'm not saying that. They need to be going to a Super Bowl.
They're not nearly that good. But they should have won a playoff game by now. And when you look at really what they've done recently, you know, in 2023, They started out 9-3. They had a loss to Tennessee 28-27, which has been a crushing loss. Since then, they're 10-12.
you know they haven't really recovered from that loss to tennessee I don't make the excuse about, you know, they were missing Tua for a lot of the time last year. Tua did miss six stars last year, but it was up to Mike McDaniel to find a better backup quarterback. One of the problems with the backup quarterback thing, now they didn't have great backup quarterbacks with Skylar Thompson and Tim Boyle and Snoop Hunt Lee. That's the Dolphins' fault. That's not some act of the football gods.
It's up to them to do it. And when those quarterbacks were in, The offense was not quarterback friendly for them. In other words, it still played to the strengths of Tua, the quick reads, the accurate passes. Those guys can't do the same things that Tua did. This all falls on Mike McDaniel.
This is why he's under so much pressure. That the loss last week, they just looked terrible last week, losing 33 to 8. If you look terrible again this week, I, you know, I don't know. I just see very little hope for them winning in Buffalo.
So I think if you're 0-2, you're pretty much 0-3. And at that point, I'm not sure that there's much that can save Mike McDaniel week four, they host the Jets. But boy, if they start off 0-3 or even 1-3, still the players are going to. be a little bit shaky. Mike McDaniel definitely definitely on the hot seat Chris, who makes that call?
That's a good question. You know, Chris Greer, the general manager, is on the hot seat right along with Mike McDaniel. He's gone nine years without winning a playoff game. He is the longest tenured GM in the NFL to not win a playoff game.
So they're both on the hot seat and they work very well together. I kind of call Mike Mike Chris Greer Instacart because he does the shopping for Mike McDaniel. Mike McDaniel has a, he kind of makes the shopping list. He's got a lot of authority here. And one of the problems with Chris Greer is he doesn't have a vision for the team.
You know, he's not like a, you know, Howie Roseman or a Jason Light. Where you've got a vision, you've got a system, and you recruit to the system. Chris Greer allows his coaches to kind of pick whatever system they want.
So, whether it's Adam Gates or Brian Flores or Mike McDaniel. He changes, you know, he does whatever the coach wants. That's a flaw with the GM. You're the head guy. I, you know, owner Steve Ross, he's been complicit because he allows Chris Greer to have this system in place.
you know, Chris Greer has got to be better. He's got to be a stronger GM.
So Who makes that decision? I guess ultimately it's probably Steve Ross. It should be Chris Greer, the GM, but. Chris Rear is complicit. You know, if Mike McDaniel doesn't make it through the season.
I strongly doubt Chris Greer makes it through the season.
Now, GMs don't get fired mid-season. That happens at the end of the year. But to me, those two are tied together at the hip. Either both stay or both go. Yeah, I'm 100% with you on that.
And hey, Chris, thanks for the breakdown and have fun covering Bill Belichick's first year next year. Thanks a bunch. Chris, thank you. There goes Chris Perkins of the South Florida Sun Sentinel. uh absolutely uh fantastic breakdown.
And boy, it sounds like uh quite a mess in Miami. You know where there isn't a mess? CBS Sport or sorry, Infinity Sports Network Command Central. because the guy we're about to bring in would have it no other way. I'm not saying he's a Germaphobe, but he's pretty clean.

So, of course, I did the thing that you really shouldn't do. I did a 10-leg parlay, but follow with me. Just to win. Bills, Dallas, San Fran, Baltimore. L A Rams Pittsburgh, Denver.
I got the Bears plus five and a half. I just think it's going to be tough for Detroit. A lot of commonality. You know, who who who who knows what. Ben Johnson has been sitting on.
And then the uh the big fight this weekend where uh Zach Gelbla is out in Vegas. I have Canelo Alvarez and Callum Walsh to win. along with uh eight NFL picks and uh that hundred would win a uh nice uh five thousand three hundred thirty seven dollars and seventy two cents. I'm not saying you should run out and go do it. I'm just kind of telling you.
uh where I am just in terms of uh where I am just in terms of, um Gambling this weekend and some of the stuff that at least I I looked at early in the week and I thought Okay, I felt really good about really, really good. About the Um of all those teams winning. And then to throw in the boxers in there was really for value because, come on, you think Canelo's really losing to Bud Crawford? Um And uh Callum Walsh is a guy that uh I think, I'm not saying he's getting a tomato can, okay? I'm not saying that, but I think he's definitely against a guy that he should beat.
I think. I think the folks that are running this fight and this deal really want Callum Walsh to win. Kind of, uh, kind of keep it going with him just in terms of. You know, they need to build a star. Boxing needs somebody other than Canelo or.
you know, whoever has the uh the heavyweight title at that point in time.
So I'm uh I'm kind of rolling with uh Callum Walsh there. And say it's a really busy sports weekend when you stop and think about it, right? We have week three of college football, which I will get to next. We got week two in the NFL. We have NASCAR Cup Racing playoffs there in Bristol.
That's all weekend, but really on on Saturday night it's uh It's the rare Saturday night uh NASCAR Cup race. We do have UFC this weekend, which is always a big thing for me.
So there is uh There's a lot going. We're getting to that point on the sports calendar where there is. just a uh a a ton of stuff going on. Let alone what is up in baseball. And I probably should do a better job presenting baseball to you, but.
Right now, we're in that just September, I call it kind of purgatory, right? Like for me. Ah, man I'm in the feels of the long season. Like, okay, can we just sort of get to the playoffs and get this thing over with? I know we have the Yankees against the Red Sox, so.
You know, if ESPN didn't partially kind of give up on baseball, I would assume that. That would be... just pimped out as much as they possibly could uh because the Red Sox and Yankees are both relevant in the uh in the American League East.
So Detroit. Really got out and ran away with things in the first half of the year. After the All-Star break, they were good, but not great. They're an 84 win team right now, just like Toronto is, but You know, the best battle in in uh the best battle in baseball.
Sorry, Met fans. But the best battle in baseball might be what's going on in the American League West right now. where you have Seattle, Houston, and Texas. All within two games of each other. And, you know, you've also got Cal Raleigh, who.
as a catcher has, you know, gone over fifty bombs. And it looks like Seattle might win the division. I mean, that. That smells like stealing the MVP from Aaron Judge. And it's not necessarily an indictment on Aaron Judge, but I think.
When you start to line up everything that can make a candidate, or that sorry. the fifty plus bombs and the way he's played this year. makes the candidate What enhances the candidate for MVP Is the romanticism of it all because we still have that in baseball? Right, down the stretch. Let's say the Mariners win the division, but down the stretch.
Does Cal Raleigh hit, you know, a couple of moonshots that. That are a difference maker for Seattle in winning that division. You know, those are the kind of things that you would love to be able to point to that your MVP can do. You know, forget the fact that the guy is a catcher. Uh, and he's hit so many home runs.
So, at least I know in the American league, the MVP race is still.
sort of up in the air as well. Phillies still have a pretty good grip on the National League East, up eleven games. The Cubs are five back of the Brewers. Cubs are going to go to the playoffs anyway. And then you have the Dodgers and the Padres.
battling each other, uh battling it out. Out in the NL West. I'm sure some people will point to Dodgers Padres maybe as the best sort of race. At 7:20 Eastern, we will talk about the Green Bay Packers, but up next, week three of college football.
