Javante Williams has two rushing touchdowns, one-yard liners, or rushing touchdowns at the one-yard line. And then we got Jalen Hurts. accounting for the Eagles' touch down, With a four yard touchdown rush, But the big story and what you'll hear about all the way up until to morrow. when the chiefs and the the chargers get after it, all the way up until Sunday when we get the full slate of NFL games. is the fact that the NFL season started before we even got an official snap after the kick off.

If you weren't here with us last hour, if you weren't listening to the game, if you're not watching the game while listening to the radio, The ball was kicked off. The Dallas Cowboys had the rock. Before they could even snap the ball, Jalen Carter is waiting at the line of scrimmage. He goes nose to nose.
with Dak Prescott. Nothing unusual. not something that we've never seen in the NFL before. The only difference is Jalen Carter decided to spit On DAC, Before we even got an offensive play in, before the ball was even snapped. And not to say that this is an excuse for it.
The referee was standing right the hell there. I guess Jalen Carter was so locked in on spittin' on a guy. He didn't realize that he'd be tossed for it. I don't know, maybe Jalen Carter didn't realize that, you know, the television cameras are kind of everywhere. When you're standing on the middle of a football field, that maybe every camera could probably see you.
Uh Um the stupidity is just It's beyond me. Maybe he was so amped up he was immediately thrown out of the game. And so when you think about what we currently have, and yeah, there's a lot of game left. It's only three minutes, four minutes have gone by here. In the second quarter, The fact that the Dallas Cowboys already have fourteen points on the board Just makes me go.
Hmm. I wonder what things would look like. If Jalen Carter One of the best defensive linemen, one of the best guys in the entire NFL. if he was actually out there on the field for the Philadelphia Eagles. Would the Dallas Cowboys already have fourteen points?
The world will never know. I wonder if this is something that Jalen Carter is thinking about thinking about. in the back, in the locker room. The fact that he didn't even play a snap this game, he was ejected. right out of the gate.
Nixiriani Always a pretty funny guy. You know, he's like, oh, we can't accept, and we're not talking about last year's championship. And then this is also some news that we found out about that I just have to go. If it can make money, why the hell not? And why not do it? Apparently Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. have signed a deal.
to go one on one. With the fight expected to take place in the spring of 2026. We don't have any details, we don't have a date, we don't have a location. I assume this thing will take place somewhere in Las Vegas, or maybe they'll make the fight happen in Saudi Arabia somewhere. I I have no.
I did. But what I can tell you is this Mike Tyson said This fight is something neither the world nor I ever thought would or could happen.
However, Boxing has entered a new era of the unpredictable, and this fight is as unpredictable as it gets. I still can't believe Floyd wants really to do this. It's going to be detrimental to his health. But he wants to do it so So it's signed and it is happening. The fight is going to be an exhibition.
So Floyd Mayweather, who has a Perfect record at fifty and oh. is what it is. He doesn't have to worry about taking a an a legitimate L. Mayweather says, I've been doing this for 30 years. There hasn't been a single fighter that can tarnish my legacy.
You already know that if I'm going to do something, it's going to be big. It's going to be legendary. I'm the best in the business of boxing. This exhibition will give the fans what they want. I can tell you something.
Neither one of these guys wrote what you just heard, which is uh not surprising. You might recall Floyd Mayweather Jr., his last exhibition was the final real fight. That was not an exhibition. when he knocked out Connor McGregor. He also had an exhibition this was an exhibition against Logan Paul.
And uh we saw what Mike Tyson did. Against Logan Ball. Floyd fought Jake in an exhibition down in Miami.
So, um,. Hey Uh A heavyweight or welterweight, this isn't something that you typically see. Mike Tyson. Five ten. Floyd Mayweather.
5a. Sure. Great. This is where things are are typically different. Different weight classes.
Okay, you're talking about a a heavyweight being over 225 pounds. A welterweight is going to be somebody that's one forty seven.
Okay, there there is the difference and the discrepancy. Mike Tyson is fifty nine years old. Floyd Mayweather is forty eight.
Now there was a lot to be said. when Mike Tyson fought Logan Paul last year. Oh man, I'm mixing them up. Bacha, it's Jake, right? It was Jake.
Jake was Tyson. Logan was Floyd. Logan was Floyd. Yeah.
But that fight kind of went to the back of my mind immediately. 'Cause it was more of a hug fest more than a fight. Yeah, well, if Floyd want Floyd could have killed the guy. He wanted to make sure that everybody got their money's worth. That's what that was.
And it's no different than when Jake Paul. Fought Mike Tyson, They just wanted to make sure that folks got their their money's worth. and at this point At Mike Tyson at fifty nine years old, look, I I know you've been beating people's ass your whole life. I know he is a well-conditioned athlete.
Well, not used to be a well-conditioned athlete. I'm not worried about Floyd Mayweather Jr. This guy, I'm sure, he can get up to morrow and go run a couple of miles, even still here at the age of forty eight. I'm not worried about him. What I don't want to see, and what I think a lot of people are going to be tuning in to see.
What are we getting out of Mike Tyson? Like, he had a bad leg. This is a train wreck, ultimately, potentially for Mike Tyson. Floyd is going to do his best to go out there and protect him. Keep him alive, make sure he's not working.
too hard. This is just going to be an elaborate dance to make money. Mike Tyson ain't knocking out Floyd Mayweather. 'Cause if this was a real ass fight, Floyd Mayweather would beat him at this point in time.
Okay. He's forty eight. He'd get up in him and he tied him out and he'd just punch him a bunch of times and Mike Tyson would go down. Mike Tyson is about to be 60 years old. What I'm hoping doesn't happen.
Forget last fight, and all of it was a sham anyway, like this one is going to be. I don't want to see Mike Tyson in no boxing ring. Dying.
Okay, who wants to see that? He's been broke, he's been rich, he's been wealthy, he's lost money, he's been locked up. At this point in time, he's like, listen, if I can make some more money. $100 million, $50 million, $60 million. Take it, why not?
I'm not mad at Mike Tyson. I'm gonna tune in. Why do I I'm not looking for a train wreck? I'm going to watch just out of curiosity. But they're gonna be people who are really gonna tune in.
thinking that this is going to be some type of uh competitive Masterpiece. What is an old Mike Tyson going to do against a Mayweather? If they were fighting in the street, Yeah, Mike Tyson might get him with one punch. But in a boxing ring, Mayweather, Mayweather would beat his ass. But they're not going to do that.
They're going to do a dance, they're going to make some money, They're gonna laugh. And they're going to keep it moving. Good for them. This is where boxing has gone. I mean we even got this match.
Coming up Bacha, what what did they just announce? Jake Paul versus Tank Davis. on Netflix. You got Javante Tank Davis is in the prime of his life. He's a he's a prime boxer.
And even he is like, I'm going to take an exhibition bout. This is like boxing is almost like WWE at this point in time. I feel that The with the with the label of exhibition boxing has just lost its integrity just because It's kind of like I don't wanna say it's scripted 'cause it's not, but it's not serious. Boxing. It's not like these guys are fighting each other to get the belt.
It's more of just name versus name. and it kind of waters down the product. to where The viewer only wants to stop and see the celebrities or stars who are now out of their prime.
Now, I've I've heard I agree with you on that one.
Now, I can also agree with a point that some people have countered to me. I've heard this from boxers. I don't want to put words in in in somebody's mouth. I I don't know if it's Roy Jones who told me Roy Jones fought. Uh Mike Tyson and the pandemic.
At some point I spoke to a boxer and they told me You know what? This, all this celebrity boxing, these exhibitions. It's not the worst thing. And I'm gone like, Well, why?
So to your point, it kind of takes away the integrity of You got two fighters. Who are beating each other up and beating people up and trying to climb the ranks? And they ain't doing none of this. you know, celebrity stuff. and then they get overshadowed and they lose out on money, Because some you know internet guy who who's athletic says, Well, I'm gonna take the cash.
We know it's a dog eat dog world, so I I understand that. But the boxer told me, he's just like Having these celebrities fight. brings more attention to boxing. And I'm just like, eh. Does it?
I don't know. Like we got a real fight next week. We have Canelo Alvarez. And we got Bud Crawford. People are looking forward to seeing this fight.
As a matter of fact, this is going to be an allegiant stadium. It's not going to be an NGM garden arena. They're putting it in the football stadium, the home of the Raiders, So we got a real fight there. Is it going to make as much money as Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather? Probably not.
Is it going to make as much money? as the uh the other one I told you about, Tank Davis and Jake Paul. Probably not. And this is where you got real fighters who are just like Man, w we're getting X'd out here. Like boxing has always been niche.
There was a point in time where it was more widely accepted. but if you can get two celebrities out there, or two legends, People are just doing it for the money. I don't know. I I'm gonna watch. Maybe I'm just as guilty.
But Mike Tyson getting ready to fight. Floyd Mayweather, junior. I just You can't make this stuff up. 888-710-4ISN. Marco Belletti, here we are with another celebrity fight.
At this point, though. We discussed this when it came down to Jake Paul taking on Mike Tyson. But Mike Tyson is now even older. And I know Floyd is not going to go in there and kill the guy. He's probably going to protect him and keep him.
But that's not to say that Mike Tyson still doesn't just. I I have a fear he he'll croak inside the ring. Uh Wow, I didn't think we were going to go there. Yeah, no, that's not good. And obviously, he had to do two minutes, I think it was two-minute rounds because he couldn't.
And you could tell he was gassed after what, two rounds in? This is not good.
Now, granted, at least Mayweather's older too, and Paul was in better, you know, he was younger. I don't know if he's in better shape, but he's younger. Look. It's a problem just for the fact that he's going to move around. And yeah, you're right.
At some point, I mean, Mike's old. You know, you shouldn't be in the ring anymore. You could do the ring stuff to train to keep yourself in shape so that you're good in your age, but you shouldn't be taking shots with it in front of everybody else because you know the mind goes back to where you want to be when you're younger. And that's a dangerous, dangerous concept for Mike. Yeah, we saw him.
He h he didn't have the the energy. He was gassed. He apparently had some type of leg injury. He was kinda dragging along in the ring. And, you know, even with Mayweather's age, Mike Tyson's fifty nine, Floyd Mayweather is forty-eight.
Mayweather is supremely, was supremely conditioned. I'm sure he can just get up tomorrow and start jogging.
So I'm not worried about Mayweather in any stretch of the imagination. Um I don't know. Yeah, but you said it too about him in like, you know, he had a leg injury. Of course he did. He's 59.
It's called old and busted. Like, something's going to hurt. You think you're going to walk into the ring and feel good? No, you don't. You don't feel good when you wake up in the morning.
How the hell are you going to feel good when you're in the ring? Like, how's that possible? It doesn't make any sense.
Well, however much money he's going to make out of this. 20, 30, or 20 is on the low end. 30 is probably on the low end too. Forty, fifty, sixty, fifty to one hundred. I think that'll make that better for Mike Tyson, I think.
And that's the thing. And if you tell me it's for money, like I get it. I understand why they're doing it. We can argue whether or not we should be watching it. But I understand why they're doing it.
And unfortunately, it's also on us because we crave this stuff because it's got the things that we want, which is name recognition. Yeah, and it's. Look, there's the train aspect, there's their name recognition, and let's be fair, as we all get old and busted, we all want to relive our youth. And Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather in the ring makes us feel like we're younger when we're not. Nah, bro, no it doesn't.
Not for me. No, no, they make me feel older. Yeah, when you see them move and they can't move, but when you hear the names, you go, Oh, I want to watch this. And then you see them in the ring and you go, What the hell am I watching? Because that's what we did with Tyson and Paul.
We talked about it. We knew it wasn't going to be good. But we wanted to watch it, myself included. We were trying to figure out how to get Netflix here in the studio. Like, we wanted to see it.
And then the second you look at it and you go, oh, that's right, this sucks. Yeah.
It'll be a train wreck. They'll get rich and the world'll move on. And then I guess uh I don't know. Floyd Mayweather, who's the next person he could fight after this? I don't know.
There's no more Paul brothers. There's only two of them, as far as I know. Um Here's the problem with boxing.
Sorry, but we're running out of name recognition.
So, like, all these guys are old.
So, like, in 10 years, who are we going to watch? We're not watching Canel Alvarez in his prime. You think we're going to go out of our way to watch him fight somebody from YouTube 20 years from now? I find that difficult to believe. Give it a little while.
We'll we'll get to uh Justin Bieber. He'll be fighting one of the Paul brothers next. That is uh Oh, that we're headed to. Yeah.
No, that, like I said, I just boxing, that's the, I agree with you of the idea of eyeballs on and attention, but we're running out of the name recognition from the guys that we used to watch 15, 20, 30 years ago because they're going to get too old. Medley Mann Manny's still out here fightin'. Yeah.

It is September 4th. 2025, but if we go back to September 4th, 1983, Lynn Dickey. Of the Green Bay Packers, he completed 27 of 31 passes. Including 18 straight completions, 333 yards, and four touchdowns, the Packers, well, They beat Houston, beat the Oilers. 41 to 38.

On September 4th, 1983, Packers quarterback Lynn Dickey had one of the greatest games in his career as the Packers defeated the Houston Oilers, now the Tennessee Tikes, in an overtime thriller. Doubtful if he would even play due to migraine headaches. Dickie completed 27 of his 31 passes for 333 yards and five touchdowns. He completed his first 18 passes of the game.
In overtime, Jan Steneru hit a 42-yard field goal to win the game for the Packs. Man, let's keep it rolling. September 4th, you want to talk about an amazing performance. September 4th, 1993. Jim Abbott is a very good Yeah, New York Yankees at the time.
The man was born without a right hand? He went out. And he pitched himself had A no hitter. Against the Cleveland Indians at the time. The Yankees beat him.
Four to nothing. Jim Abbott went out there. had three strikeouts, overcame five walks, And this is still one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Born without a right hand, he was out there pitching and it got a no-hitter. You can't make this up.
