So coming up today, coming up at twelve forty specifically, I've got a Big Ten Network analyst, former college coach Biff Poggi. Lots to talk to him about. That's twelve forty. Coming up at one forty, the founder of the NFL Blue Book, Charles Robinson. We'll talk some NFL coming up at the top of our number three, the beef segment.
Now, if you're tuning in right now and wondering where is that Fanduel segment, the Fanduel segment moved from Thursday to Wednesday, so we did it yesterday. But I'm going to try and give you my preview of tonight's matchup. Good Thursday night matchup, Bears and Pats. I'll tell you who I like in case you missed it yesterday, but make a mental note of that. The Fanduel segment is now going to appear, the one with James Kelly on Wednesdays.
Not Thursdays. We started that yesterday, and in and around all that, I had a podcast which is now live. Do me a favor, don't check it out now, but when you have time after the program, with NFL great Jim Jim McMahon, yesterday we had that. I hadn't spoken him in years. That was a lot of fun.
All right, so that's how today sets up. Topic number one: powder, powder. You got me again. Ears must have known that there was no way that I could resist talking about the snow time Lakers, or the Rook, already talking more smack than anybody else in the NBA, or the apparent new best center in the world. Of course, I am not going to wait around to point out that the first Laker game in the post LeBaeck era.
Went pretty damn well, really well, actually. It's almost like nobody around here is going to miss that bag at all. Not even his kid, who is still on the team for some reason. Especially not when the new Laker GM is already looking better than the old Laker GM. And no, I'm not talking about Rob Low Palenka.
I'm talking about Le GM. Who was pretty awful at being the GM?
Meanwhile, the new GM, Luca GM, Luca told everybody exactly what he needed. He patiently waited for about a year, and it turns out Luca knew exactly what was necessary. Turns out, getting Luca the elite big that he asked for—you know, one who can run the floor and play above the rim. That was a very good idea, such a good idea. In fact, the last night it turned Walker Kessler into freaking Shaq.
Yeah, I know that sounds ridiculous, except that the dude did have ten—not one, not two, not three, not four, not five—ten dunks. In the game last night, Walker Kessler really threw it down on the Dubs ten different times, which is also the most dunks by a Laker in any game since Shaq himself way back in '03. Wild, right? Wild enough to put Shaq and Walker Kessler in the same sentence. But even crazier to hear Shaq after the game call that dude.
The best big man in the NBA carried away much. Diesel, look, I know nobody's more qualified to talk big men than Shaq, but I think maybe Joker, maybe Wimby, maybe Joel, maybe even Bam and Cat. We see Cat, mate. They may all have something to say about that hot take from Shaq. But sure, if we're all going to overreact to one night sample size for one night, Walker Kessler didn't in fact look like the best big in the NBA, and that right there is a very promising sign for the LA Lakers.
Everything about last night was a very promising sign for the LA Lakers.
Now I understand that the Dubs are not what the Dubs used to be. Therefore, I would say everything was not promising for the Warriors. It brings me no joy to say so, but things do not look great for the Dubs right about now. It looks like it might be a bit of a grind for them until Jimmy Butler makes it back, whenever that is. Who knows when we're going to see Jimmy Butler again?
But it's not going to be anytime soon. At least the Warriors have one thing going for them, though.
Well, Steph, of course. Yo, what up, Steph? Hey, Jim Rome. Hey, Steph. Hey, Steph Curry.
Hey, Steph Curry. Golden State Warriors. In case you forgot, I wanted to remind you of what the NBA is. What? What?
A man's man's game. You know it. Still the best, my dude. Steph, you will always be the best. But now the Dubs also have a second option.
Now I'm not gonna say a scoring option. I'm just saying a second option. Let me explain what I mean by that. A comedic option. Very funny to me that Yakso Lendenburg.
Decided to just empty the clip on Luca and the entire league after his first game in the league. Yaxo hilariously says he quote lost all respect end quote for Luca because of quote the whining and complaining end quote. That's hilarious! Wow, dude, really? Welcome to the association, my guy.
I know that this was the first NBA game you ever played, but I didn't know this was the first NBA game you have ever seen. Be prepared to lose all respect on a nightly basis, bro. Be prepared to have the same experience when you play against La Flop and KD and James, Fat Suit Lardon and SGA and all the rest of your heroes. Like man, a lot of flopping, a lot of foul bay, and a lot of praying to the ref, man. Interesting first game for me, for sure.
I had a lot of respect for him, you know, just because just watching. I didn't really watch the NBA much. I just watched highlights, seeing him, you know, kill people all the time. But then being in there firsthand and just watching all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect, man. Like that was awful.
Like, like me getting frustrated. It's not about like, it's not about like the the foul call being called. It's about like him complaining the entire game. And then you get the foul call, congratulations, bro. And then you talk to me like you did something great, bro.
Come on. That's his weed, you know.
So, holy crap! Comfortable, much, my guy. Hey, what are you—a ten-year vet or a ten-minute vet? Are you a ten-time MVP, or was that the first game you've ever played in the NBA? That was incredible.
I have never seen a dude with so little experience so confident. That was amazing, dude. We can definitely tell that you don't watch much NBA. It's more like you don't watch any NBA. It's more like you've never seen a single NBA game.
What are you going to tell us next? That you're shocked how pale Adam Silver is? That you're shocked that Le Bag is a bag? Dude, this guy going in on Luca, saying how weak Luca is, is incredible. I mean, that is hilarious, and he couldn't have been more comfortable.
Like, damn!
So that's how it is. That's how the association is. I love how Yakso has never. This is my favorite part. My favorite part of the whole thing.
I love how this guy has never seen an NBA game before. But after playing in only one NBA game, he's got the entire league figured out already. "Quote: lot of flopping, lot of foul baiting, lot of praying to the refs." Exactly. Welcome to the party, pal. From never having seen an NBA game to having the entire association figured out in one night, dude, you are smart.
You are smooth. We got a few whining. This dude's incredible. I could watch that soundbite all morning long. He just could not have been more comfortable and more confident, and just going in on a future Hall of Famer, the face of the franchise of the L.A.
Lakers. This dude just got waxed, and he's played one NBA game, and he's just up there, man, just spitting knowledge. Just roasting, posted up and roasting one of the top five players in the league. And the best part of all of this is, I've got no idea why this dude is even talking in the first place. Why is the Rook, who has played one game, who just got waxed on opening night, running his mouth about Luca and the state of the entire league?
By the way, he's not wrong about any of that. I just have no idea why he's the one to say it when he's a rookie. He's played one game. I've got no idea why that guy's running his mouth. Except that I'm really glad that guy's running his mouth because it's hilarious.
But then again, you knew something was up with this dude when he showed up on day one and proudly told everybody how much he used to hate Steph Curry. I didn't even know it was possible to hate Steph Curry, you know, because he's like the best guy ever. I didn't know it was possible to hate Steph Curry, but the Warriors found somebody that did hate Steph Curry, and then even used a first-round pick on him.
Now he's running smack on everybody else, and once again, I'm here for it. Believe me. And I hate to say this, but it's going to be a lot more entertaining than actual Golden State basketball, for the time being. One word of advice, though, Rook. And even though you figured this out all pretty quickly, one word of advice: the one thing you did not figure out.
Since you know nothing about the league that you're playing in, well, actually, now you know pretty much everything about the league. But here's one thing you don't know: Luca likes it when you do that. Luca loves it, actually, when you do that. Luca lives for it when you do that. Talk all you want, just know that that dude will make you pay.
Just helping you out, Rook. Since you clearly have never seen any of these dudes play before. In other words, you didn't get in his head. You lit a fire under his ass. Seeing him, you know, kill people all the time.
Pretty wild. Telephone number toll free one eight hundred six three six eight six eight six.
So that's part of that. Whining and complaining. Oh, one more thing! Great night in the crib for the Lakers. I got to admit, but also a really good night across town in the Toilet Palace because not only did the Clippers get their first win in their first game of the post Kawhi era, post Aspiration era, but they got to dedicate the win to Steve Ballmer as well.
Check it. First off, that win was for Mr. Balmer. You know, just want to say thank you for everything, and we're still fighting for him. Yeah, first of all, I just want to say I just want to dedicate that win to Mr.
Balmer. You know, for all that cheating and cap circumventing that he got caught doing, we really appreciate that. We want to acknowledge that. Thank you, Mr. Balmer, for getting conned allegedly on our behalf.
You're one of the richest men. Thank you, sir, for barely being any better than Mr. Sterling. I love how Ty Lee was like. We miss him.
We got to keep it going for him. We got to keep fighting for him. We got to keep that memory alive. None of this would be possible without that guy. None of those toilets.
None of this roster. None of that salary circumvention. None of the fact that Kawhi bounced, and nothing happened to him, bro. Ty, Ty, Ty, Ty. I like you, Ty.
I think you're a good coach, Ty. But bro, he didn't die. He got pablode. He didn't die. We want to dedicate this win to Mr.
Balmer. He didn't die. He got caught cheating his ass off. He didn't even get banned for life, for life, for life. He only asked to stay away for a while and chip off a measly thirty mil.
But sure, dedicate this one to Steve Balmer. I mean, why stop there? Why not dedicate it to Kawhi? Why you're at it? He's just as deserving as Bomber.
Dedicating to him for what? For cheating? We're still fighting for him. We'll still fight for our cheating owner. We'll still fight and battle for our circumventing owner.
We'll still fight for our owner who got conned so badly and lied allegedly. Bro, he didn't die. He got Pablo'd. It's almost like Pablo killed him. Ron and Nicole were physically dead, and it's almost like they killed me.
It's almost like they. Anyway, all right, all right. Dedicate that one to Mr. Balmer. How weird is that?
We want to dedicate this one win, Mr. Balmer, to Mr. Balmer. This one win, and Ty, don't worry, man. Your checks won't rubberize.
You're going to get paid. You don't need to dedicate anything to that guy. Much less one win. Win something that matters, and then if you want to dedicate it to your cheating owner, go ahead and do it. It's just one game, man.
And I like Ty, but wow. And by the way, Ty, Ty, not only did you not win something that mattered, not only did you not win an NBA championship. Or even a series in the NBA playoffs, bro. You beat Sacramento. You are dedicating a win to Mr.
Balmer over Sacramento. No offense, Stock Town, but could you be dedicating anything that means any less? We're dedicating this win over Sacramento. That win was from Mr. Balmer.
And you're Mr. Balmering him? Wow, what a night, Powder! You've gotten my attention two nights in a row. I cannot believe it.
The Powder Streak. Can we make it three nights in a row? Damn, it's getting powdery up in here. That is amazing. Normally, nobody cares about the association until June.
Yet two nights in a row, I care about it. Wild. All right.
So something on someone I do today that I never do. I don't talk about other commentators. I don't talk about other talk show hosts. I don't really talk about other shows unless they cross over into the mainstream. Unless they cross over and they start making the tabloids or they start making mainstream news.
This and I normally and I pride myself on that. I've never done that. You know why? I don't have to worry about with myself. I don't have to worry about with my own show.
And then back in the day, people were always talking about me, and I just didn't have time to respond to all of it.
So I just kind of got that in my head that that was one of the pillars. That was one of the things. I'm not concerning myself with things that don't concern me.
So I don't do that. Except lately, I've been doing that. Because there have been so many stories that are so big and so wild, like this Troy Aikman Joe Buck story, is crazy in our industry, and even not in our industry, it is a really crazy story that I actually have a few comments on. And if you're looking for me to pick a side and flame somebody, I'm not doing that, but I want to talk about how truly bizarre that story is.
Something else I want to get to. Texas has got a huge game. Already talked about what's going on with the Longhorns and how a couple weeks back they're ranked number one, and there are they are exactly where they're supposed to be.
Now, Arch isn't playing well, but they are where they're supposed to be. Then they lose back to back games to unranked opponents, and all hell is breaking loose. And I gave you my thoughts on that. Like what's going to happen at the end of the year? Is Arch going to still be there?
Is Sark going to still be there, or neither of them going to be there? What's going to happen? Because you know UT is not going to put up with missing the playoffs in both of the years that Arch starts. And Sark made some comments today that I thought were really interesting, and I want to get to that too. And I've got a preview of tonight's game, and we have a beef segment.
What do you want to beef about? The beef segment last week was on Wednesday because I was not here on Thursday. I know all this is really confusing to you. We are moving things around, but it's back where it normally is. Thursday, top of hour number three.
All right, there is your show. Open. Go ahead and react, engage. Let's get it. I'm telling you, one of my favorite businesses, and we use this business.
I'm not just saying this. I love this business, gusto. Every small business owner dreams of scoring a TD. For me, that touchdown was finding Gusto. It's the online payroll and benefits software that's built for small businesses.
We use it because it's all in one. It's remote friendly, and it has every play covered. You can pay, hire, onboard, and support your team from anywhere with unlimited payroll runs and no surprise fees. We do all those things. That's what Janet and I use Gusto for.
So go to gusto. dot com today. See why over five hundred thousand small businesses, including our own, call Gusto their MVP. That's g u s t o. dot com, g u s t o.
dot com, gusto. dot com. You are listening to the Jim Rome Show.

Don't let me down with the phones. When I'm hyping you up about how good the phone calls are, do not let me down on the phones, man. Get up in here, unless you're saving it for the beef segment, and I know you'll show up for that. That's not until hour number three, however.
So let me see some reaction off the top of the program. See if there's anything good there. Hey, chat. Yo, chat. I'll start with you.
Oh, look at this guy. Love this. John P. nine five one four, Romy, watching you at twenty thousand feet on YouTube, on the way to Paris to see the Steelers Saints on Sunday. John in Tierra Verde.
Hey John. Hey John. I know that it's hard to send media. Do you have a picture to prove it? Pics or it didn't happen.
Yo, bro, that's serious. That is serious.
So let me ask you something: Was that a plan trip to Paris, or are you a Steeler fan? Are you a Saints fan? Serious. Was it a reason to go to Paris? Give me some background, man.
Job nobly didn't watch the NBA. Hate Steph. It doesn't make a lot of sense. It doesn't make any sense. A first round draft pick who doesn't watch the NBA and hates Steph.
Based on what?
Well, I know what it's based on. He said so. He was a Kyrie fan. Just watching? I didn't really watch the NBA much.
I just watched highlights. Of course, you only watch highlights. You're of that generation. Your generation only watches clips and highlights. But hating Steph, and bad enough that you hate Steph, because nobody hates Steph except you, my guy.
Bad enough that you hate Steph, but Golden State uses the first round draft pick on you, and the first thing you say is, "Yeah, man, I I hated Steph Curry." What? Why don't you say, "Yeah"? Tell you what. Hey, what's your reaction? What was your reaction when you heard that Golden State took you?
Well, my reaction was I hate Steph Curry. Oh, and Steve Kerr too. Look, my man's energetic. You know what he is? He's like he's like Draymond without the resume.
This gonna be fun. And by the way, notice I'm not telling him to stop. I'm here for it. I love it. Can I see, Lauren?
If you can, if you can, Lauren, shout out to you, Lauren. XCR. If you can play that bite of Yakso one more time, not only did he say those things, I have never seen a rookie, not even a rookie, a guy that played his first game in the NBA as confident. And is comfortable in going in on a Hall of Famer as this guy is. This dude is just posted up, pontificating, and just letting it rip.
I got to see what the NBA is like, man. A lot of flopping, a lot of foul baiting, a lot of praying to the ref, man.
Come on. That's just weak, you know.
So it kind of like it kind of threw me off. Come on, dog. That's just weak. Just step back for one second. If I were to say to you, give me the list of guys that are currently playing in the NBA that would say that about Luka Doncic on record.
Who would do that? Who would say that about Luka? I mean, Villan Brooks maybe.
So now you think I intended to hit LeBron James in the nuts? Yes, villain. Yes, and I applaud that. I approve that message. But but who?
Yaxo is incredible. Who would say that? You know, maybe I'm not even. It's not even fair to say it. Like maybe Shaq on his show.
Maybe Chuck gets loose on his show. But this dude could not have been more a matter of fact about it, and he's played in one game and was somehow shocked by it. Like the whole world knows that's Lucas' deal. What are you gonna tell me next, bro? You don't know that he lives on the second floor.
What's next? I I'm just blown away by how a matter of fact. And how comfortable and how confident he was in saying, "Yo, man, come on, dog, that's just weak, whining and complaining, whining, complaining, praying to the refs, yapping at me. Come on, man, that is so weak. If you're looking for me to say, 'Yo, man, that's just weak,' keep that dude's name out your mouth.
You got the wrong host. I think that's hilarious. And again." Yeah, I'm pro Luca, but he got to admit it's not like I'm not saying that he has a right to say it. Like you're a rook, bro. You don't have a right to say anything.
You are a rook. A lot of praying to the. But it's not like what he said was wrong. I don't know. For a beat down and a wax job and a hospital job, I got a lot of entertainment value out of that.
I enjoyed that. I really did, and I'm not rooting for either one of them. At 11, Hondo, Balmer, this is for you. Yours, Ty Lue. Cleveland, this is for you.
Ty, did you really dedicate the first game of the year, a win over Sacramento, to Mr. Balmer? That win was for Mr. Balmer. That's amusing.
Not nearly as amusing as my guy Yax. We're still fighting for him. We're still fighting for him, bro. Is he in jail? Did he die?
We're still fighting. We're still fighting for him. You mean one game? We're still fighting him would indicate that this has been an ongoing fight, and that we will never give in. It was one game over Sacramento.
Ty. Damn it, Powder! How did you do it? How did you do it? You commandeered this show two days in a row.
I cannot believe it. This can't last. This streak cannot last. Let's break. Albie Bepoggi joins me when we come back.
Talk some college ball next. You're listening to the Jim Rome Show. Welcome back. I'm efforting my guest right now. When I find him, I will let you know.
Meantime, I am looking for that engagement always. Romy, I am a Warrior fan, and I loved every minute of Yaxel Lindenburg's s talking the biggest b in the league. Luca, I mean, he was one in six against Yaxel to boot. Warriors are going nowhere this year, so any type of entertainment that I can get works for me. As I too am a huge fan of Team Content, and we got a beauty in Yakel Lennaburg.
Dude, just put a target on his head. Game one, Eric. Yes, that's kind of what I'm saying. And to your point, he actually did guard him pretty well, straight up, except for that 48 footer. That Luca hit before halftime, and then Luca let him know it.
And Yax is like, "Dude, yeah, I like the way that I'm already on Yax terms with him." Yax is like, "What are you talking? Who are you talking to? Talking to you, Rook? Talking to you?" Yaxel not only didn't know that Luca whines and complains and begs for fouls. He didn't know that when you talk to him, it fires him up, and he loves it.
He's already motivated enough. It's not that he needs somebody to light a fire under his ass, but the rook did, especially because he's a rook. I doubt that Luca even knew who he was, even as a first round draft pick. Either way, I loved it. I loved it.
It's one of my favorite sound bites of the year, far and away. Again, I can't believe that that rookie sat up there one game in and was that comfortable and was talking so much junk about the face of the LA Lakers and a future Hall of Famer and knew so little about the NBA. Like I don't watch much NBA. I don't really know anything about the NBA. I'm just in the NBA.
Here's the shot, bam! Did you call glass? Forty-eight footer. That's his weak. He shot that early too, but like he knew, he was making a point.
He said after the game, "I knew that was going up right away. I do that a lot in practice." And then you talk to me like you did something great, bro. Come on, dog. You talk to me like you did something great, bro. I mean, come on, dude.
What? Who? Who's the rookie? That's just weak. And who's the future Hall of Famer?
He's complaining about the way he talked to him. I mean, you do have one game under your belt. Yeah, I lost all respect, man. Like that was awful. Yeah, I bet that's keeping him awake at night.
He's like, great. Hey man, I got a real issue with that. That rookie lost all respect for me. If he even knows who you are, but but I love that he said that. He's like Draymond Junior.
He's like Draymond without the resume. He's like Draymond without the rings. He's like Draymond without knocking out one of his teammates. I don't know. You actually got my attention, dude.
Hey Michigan man, you got my attention. I'm looking for the other Michigan man. Haven't found him yet. Hey, just so you know, Alex Haddy. We're in the middle of a segment, so keep that in mind before before we drop in on a guest at 47 or 48.
War bums quote: "We're also still fighting for our owner." Sincerely, the rats fighting over pizza scraps at Angel Stadium. They're making changes there. Good thing too. Sheamus is in. Tell me how my overreact tastes.
Signed Shaq. Tell me how my loved it. Shaq loved it. The guy did have ten dunks. No Laker has had ten dunks since Shaq did back in '03.
Hey, remember when the GM got fired as GM? And Luca took over as GM. One of the first things Luca said was, "I need an elite big man. I want an elite big man." And then they went out and they got the best big man they could get. And then everybody said, "Damn, how do you pay that much for that guy?
How do you pay that much for Walker Kessel? You overpaid for that guy." I don't know. Based on what I saw last night, maybe they didn't overpay for him. He seemed pretty comfortable. Luca seemed pretty happy.
He said he needed a big man. No, he said he needed an elite big man. And we already knew Kessler could play. You don't give up what they gave up to get him if that guy can't play. Hey, Jim, I don't follow the NBA.
Sometimes I see highlights, but I have a new favorite player. What's his name again? Out of Illinois, Ron. You sound like that guy. Isn't that a funny thing for a first-round draft pick to say?
I really don't follow the NBA that much. Watch the NBA much? I just watch highlights. I just watch highlights. Like anybody of that generation with a short attention span, I don't really watch the league.
By the way, bro, it's not even your generation. It's all of us. That's the whole point about the NBA. I mean, wasn't it Powder who said, "We can just put up clips. We can just put up clips." This is what happens when you have a long season and there's load management, and people don't want to sit through it.
They watch clips. Even guys entering into the league. Man, it's not like back in the day where they've got VHS tapes where they study them and they watch guys. No, man, they pick up their phone and they watch clips.
So Yakso thought that he knew Luca based on watching a few clips. Like he's just killing dudes. He's dunking on dudes. He's snatching souls. He's killing guys.
And then I played against him. It's like, damn. He's not doing any of that. All he's doing is whining and complaining and praying to the refs and begging for fouls. Again, I'm going to ask the question.
I'm looking for reaction here. This is not rhetorical. Tell me one or two or three other guys in the NBA that would actually go on record as saying that. I'm not saying thinking it. I'm saying is going to sit up there, post up in front of cameras and a mic, and say, "Damn." Luca, man, all that does, all that guy does, is cry, and complain, and beg for fouls, and pray for fouls.
It's a rookie who's played one game. It's awesome, man. That's weak, man. He's calling this guy weak. He's a future Hall of Famer in the face of the most famous franchise in the league.
That's weak, man. The leads are weak. The Luca is weak, damn yaks. But then again, we are talking about a guy that, upon showing up at Golden State, said, "Man, I hated Steph Curry." What? What?
I can't wait for the next thing this guy's going to say. All right, so I am effing a guest. We're going to move Biff to the top of the hour. He'll be here. Meantime, let's go to the phones.
Why don't we go to Phoenix, Patrick, in Phoenix? Yo, Patrick, what's going on? Rowan, thanks for the vine. Gonna need you to stay with me for a moment here, okay? Hmm.
You surely remember me from last week when I had to come in and defend Drake Greenlaw.
Well, I took a little trip down memory lane last night. October 16, 1994, the 49ers travel to Atlanta to play the Falcons. Deion Sanders and Andre Rison get into an actual fist fight—not a head, but not someone pushing and shoving. We're talking about punches being thrown. Neither get ejected, neither get suspended.
Both get fined $7,500. And Dion stays in the game long enough to return an interception 93 yards for a touchdown in a 42-3 beatdown.
Now, fast forward 32 years later, Bray Greenlaw headbutts somebody, gets ejected and suspended. NFL certainly looks a lot different these days, doesn't it? Hmm. And here's where it gets interesting. It's Week Seven again.
The Forty Niners are traveling to Atlanta again. Except this time, they're six and zero, looking to go seven and zero heading into the bye. And you know what happened to those 1994 Niners? They won the Super Bowl. Ah!
You don't like that call. I don't like that call. You got your ass run. Hmm. Dude, who are you, LT?
Mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm. Alvin's got to limit him. Mmm, mmm. Stop being LT. But what kind of an argument are you trying to make?
Are you still trying to argue that your guy Dre Greenlaw should not have been ejected? And then you're going to point to a slap fight that Andre Rison. Here it is. Check this out, October sixteenth, nineteen ninety four. If you're watching on the stream, this is what he is referring to.
Dion and Andre Rison about to let them hands go. And again, the dumbest thing any NFL player could do is hit another NFL player with their helmet on. These guys were going at it. Let's see. All right, so.
Some contact off the line. They're tangled up. Dion throws a left, tries to another left, and these guys are letting the hands go. And they're both wearing helmets. It looks more like a slap fight, actually.
But does that make your point? Like, what are you trying to say? That that happened in 1994 and Dion got fined 7,500 bucks? Right, dude. It's been more than 30 years.
Times have changed. The game has changed. Your guy and I like Dre, but your guy has a rap sheet and a track record. He's a repeat offender, and he punched a guy in the face. And if you want to keep calling this show, you're welcome to.
But you would best stop. That's why you got run. Alvy got sick of hearing it. Alvy has the hammer. Alvy's not afraid to use the hammer.
Alvy is sick and tired of you calling him, going "mmm," like that's your shtick. I don't even understand your point. "mmm," it's not a good shtick. It's not funny, and it's not funny when you do it five times over the course of one call. "mmm," even if you are trying to channel LT and you're not.
See now, LT, that's all right. LT can get away with that because he's LT. There's some bass in there. There's some LT in there. There's some LT demons in there.
You hear that? You know, you don't want any part of that guy. Even I got into it with LT over a satellite interview once, and I'm like, I don't know. But but you hear that from LT, and you know you don't mess with LT because LT's got some bass, like some grumbles, some like even I can't hit that note. I've tried, I can't get that low because he's much bigger.
He's got demons. He's LT. He's all famous. See, dude, you can't do that. Biff Poggi when we come back.
Charles Robinson coming up in hour number two. The beep segment at the top of hour number three.
So we have a lot to get to. Don't go anywhere. The games just ended. The conversation starts now. The NFL Digital Reaction Show, and without further ado, Player of the Day, Play of the Day, Game of the Day, Team of the Day, and the Fan of the Day in the NFL.
