It is the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on the Infinity Sports Network. I'm coming to you live from Atlanta, Georgia. Thank you to everybody tuned in and locked in all over North America. I hope you're well, I hope you're safe, I hope you're amazing. I'll be hanging out with you for the next four hours.

This is when the show gets started every weekday at 6pm Eastern, 3 Pacific. Thank you to our producer Ryan Botcher holding things down in New York City, wherever you might be. I hope you're good. I know it's hot all over the United States of America. I know it's hot all over the place.

So I hope you're keeping cool the best that you can. I don't care if you're in Oklahoma City where they had a parade today. I don't care if you're in Boston where they traded Drew Holiday.

Man, you could be in DC where they have started to shut down some of the monuments because they don't want tourists outside. Okay, it's hot everywhere. Also in Washington, Jordan Pool got sent to New Orleans and well, CJ McCollum is going to DC. So we got a lot to discuss. Aaron Rodgers sat down with his best friend Pat McAfee, talked about his future. NBA trades, NBA draft starts tomorrow. NBA draft now taking place over multiple days.

Whoop dee doo. And we'll talk about it all. Okay, from Aaron Rodgers and his future. He loves talking about his future. He loves talking about himself to the parade that we got.

Plenty going on. 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710-4ISN. You can always listen to the show on the free Odyssey app. You can tune in on your local Infinity Sports Network affiliate. If you got Sirius XM, it's channel 375.

You got a smart speaker, ask the speaker to play the Infinity Sports Network. Such an odd time in a sports calendar. NBA finals are done. We're having parades.

Stanley Cup finals are done. We're having parades. Major League Baseball is trying to get closer to its All-Star break. It'll take place right here in Atlanta.

That'll be fun. We got the NBA draft tomorrow, now multiple days. We're in between the NFL mini camps and training camp in about a month's time, so you get funny quotes from guys like Aaron Rodgers about their future. You got dudes who are getting traded in the NBA. Veterans moving all over the damn place.

And then you got young guys who are going to be indoctrinated, baptized into the NBA over the next several months with the draft taking place tomorrow in Brooklyn, New York. What a time, what a time. We're going to touch upon it all. Hey Batra, how are you today? You doing okay? Besides for the heat like everybody else, I'm doing pretty good. I'm happy to hear that. We got people unfortunately having to deal with the heat all over the country.

It's what it is. We make the most of it. I think down in Oklahoma City, we talked about it yesterday, 95 degrees is what the temperature was, which means you sit on concrete, you put a half million people outside, and there's a good chance it feels like hell. Okay, I don't know what the temperature was, but let's just say it feels or felt like hell.

And no, I have no idea what hell feels like, and I hope to never find out. But the fans in OKC, they went outside and they braced it. They celebrated their first championship, their first title, it looked like with Durant and Harden and Westbrook, that they were in store for title after title after title, and they accumulated none.

Until today, or until Sunday, when Shay Gilgus-Alexander won finals MVP, led the league in scoring, led everything, had MVPs here, MVPs there, and today they had a chance to celebrate, not Shay Gilgus-Alexander in whole, but ultimately, their title. But let me tell you, Batra we discussed it yesterday, who was most likely to walk around without a shirt? The answer was Chet Holmgren. Apparently he stayed clothed. We didn't see a chest, we didn't see a back, but we did see this man apparently had a little much too fun last night, maybe too much fun this morning, maybe too much fun when he got up.

Because Chet Holmgren had a microphone in his hand, and let's just say his teammates wanted to take the trophy away from him because he was a little too much a stumbling and a bumbling. Listen to this. It started with Clay, Sam, and Mark for believing in me enough to bring me here in the first place, because without them I'm never even here. All right, let me lock in.

Should we put you on the mic right now? All right, yeah, all right. But yeah, I just got to say thank you to those three first, and then after that it's all my teammates. Without them, none of this is possible. It's really a full team effort. And then from there it takes the fans and the city.

They bring it every single night. At least he was able to get the sentence out. For a while there it was apparent that he was, well, he had some fun. Somewhere at some point in time he had himself some fun. Maybe he had that fun in his back pocket.

I have no idea. If he did, he'd have a problem. I don't think he does. Shut Holmgren having some fun. And there were no shenanigans.

I think about some of these parades over the past several years. Tom Brady almost lost the Vince Lombardi in Tampa Bay. He almost dropped the trophy in the damn bay. Tom Brady was drunk out of his mind. Okay, Tom Brady could get away with it.

Drunk off of avocado tequila. Okay, Tom Brady is a freak. Who even thinks of that?

Another freak who wants to sell it to Tom Brady. No, but there were no drunk players outside of maybe what you just heard from Shut Holmgren, can't confirm. There was no Clay Thompson. Clay Thompson trucked a normal sized woman, which means this woman was like 5'5 and barely able to stand when he knocked her ass over.

Yeah, he's got this 6'7 dude built like a truck running you over because he was also intoxicated. There was no J.R. Smith without a shirt. This parade was pretty tame. At least the fans in OKC enjoyed it.

Shea Gilgus Alexander, Mr. MVP Everything. He spoke to the fans and he said, Listen, it's hot outside. I know it's hot.

I'm tired. But remember this moment forever. Hey, he loves him. Now I'm sure he's going to be on a plane back to Toronto.

Possibly. I don't know what the hell this guy's doing. It's been wild. It's been a whirlwind. They had the win Game 7. They had to try to function and sleep and stay awake on Monday. They had the schleppy 6'7 giants out to a parade today. These guys are probably passed out this very minute, this very second. Who needs dinner plans?

I'm sleeping. Isaiah Hartenstein, his first year here with the Oklahoma City Thunder after departing the New York Knicks. He spoke to News 9. Shout out to our guy from News 9, Steve McGee. He was here with us. Hopefully he didn't get too bad of a sunburn today. Isaiah Hartenstein talked about what it's been like to be alive the past three days.

It's special, man, to be able to experience with your family, experience it with the community that's been great for us all season. Something really special. What has the last 36 hours been like for you? Have you slept at all? No sleep. No sleep at all.

No sleep at all. How great was it to come back to PACOM Center one more time with all those fans to celebrate this championship? It was amazing seeing everyone.

It was really exciting. Who needs sleep? Batra, what's the longest you've been awake?

Ever? 27 hours. Okay, a day.

Alright. What was the occasion? What was going on? I worked an overnight, didn't feel tired, so I stayed up and I worked another one. So I basically did a whole cycle.

What? What were you doing? Drinking coffee?

What the hell did you do? Uh, in the morning I had a coffee. Afternoon I had another coffee and then I think I had Celsius when I started the next shift.

Wow. Your heart rate didn't jump through the roof? No, it was fine.

It's fine now. You used to drinking Celsius and coffee like that? The only time I ever drank Celsius was when they brought a giant caseload to the station here and they had it for free. That's the only time I ever drank it.

Other than that, it's just the free coffee we have in the back. Oh, so now you're hooked on Celsius now, huh? Nope, I'm clean. I've been, just that one month they had it. Okay, you've been sober for how long now? Uh, seven months. Oh, congrats.

Oh, that's not a... Well, on Celsius at least. Well, that's not that long a time, but I'm hoping for you. What do you get? Like a coin every month? Yeah, just three months without energy drink. Yeah, good. Well, I'm glad your heart is still functioning. That's nice. Maybe some of these guys have been on that. That's why I assume that a lot of these dudes are sleeping right the hell now.

And they get a chance to go on a little bit of a break. Sam Prestine, not so much. We'll get into that in a second.

Jalen Williams, I guess in conclusion for the season, thinking about what they got to come back and do next year. He ain't say nothing, but thank you. I'm going to keep it on it. It's very hot out here, so I'm going to keep you this short and sweet. Without this, without this, none of this is possible without you guys. You guys have been through the ups and downs of the Thunder organization. We appreciate you guys. We love you guys. Thank you guys. Yeah, yeah. Now we can all focus in on football in Oklahoma until October.

OK, good. Congratulations to the Oklahoma City Thunder. So many conversations about what they're going to do into the future. How they're going to stay competitive, how young they are, the size, the defense and the depth. And I mean, even even the draft picks. How the heck they still got draft?

Come on, man. They just won the championship. They're selecting at 15, 24 and 44. And what world is that even fair? It's not, but good for Sam Presti.

You take advantage of what other people do or don't do, you might as well. Right. Anyway, Jonathan Gervoni, he was on ESPN and he actually said the Thunder with all of the picks that they currently have, they're trying to trade up in the draft so they can get some other eight foot freak who can shoot threes.

Listen to this. I keep hearing rumblings that the Thunder are trying to move up. They have 15, 24, 44. They could package all three of those picks. Look to move up four or five slots, maybe six to Toronto. It's not clear on their roster that they have any real needs right now. So they can afford to take a swing on a high upside prospect who fits that defensive DNA that won them a championship.

Someone like Noah Esenge, like a Colin Murray Boyles, like a Johan Berenger, a young teenager who knows how to defend, knows how to bring physicality, knows how to play without the ball. All characteristics that the Oklahoma City Thunder covet. And these guys have been doing a lot of work. They've been conducting many workouts. I think they're going to be ready on Wednesday.

Oh, man. All they're going to do is draft a guy who's going to be better than one of their role players that they have. I don't know, Kason Wallace or something. They'll get a nonfoot version of that guy. That way they don't have to pay Kason Wallace in a few years.

They just let him walk. And they've drafted a better guy who's going to be cheaper. This is, and Sam Presti, for people who are not familiar, this guy spent time with the San Antonio Spurs organization. So if he didn't pick up anything, at minimum, he knows how to bring in talent, create a winning culture with guys who actually want to play and win together.

You can't understate that. You can buy all the great talent in the world and you could super team this and super team that. What the Phoenix Suns did in acquiring Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal.

When you already had Devin Booker, it was wrong. It looked nice. It sounded nice.

The names were nice, but it was criminal for the fans in Phoenix, Arizona. It's not how you win. Yeah, you can strike it rich every now and then. But in this current NBA, you got to put together a full team. Has to bake. Can't put it in a microwave and expect it to be the best damn thing ever. OK, this is this is not how it works.

Throw a stake in a microwave. How's that going to work out? Not good. Congratulations to the Oklahoma City Thunder. They just won the championship. And then just just a couple of days later, they're still and already trying to be better for next season. Hey, when you're a winner, when you're at the top, who needs rest? And Sam Presti is trying to win another one next year and the year after that and the year after that. And damn it, with this team.

Who knows? I hope nobody melted out there in Oklahoma City. I was burning like fire. OK, it's the JR Sportbree show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. The Thunder are trying to trade up.

Last night when I got off air and pulled back up to the house, I saw that Drew Holiday. He was traded. OK, Anthony Simons from the Pacific Northwest. He was traded from the Portland Trailblazers.

We had another trade that just took place a few hours ago. C.J. McCollum is going to D.C. and Jordan Poole is going to get every shot that he wants down in New Orleans.

Oh, how time flies and things change. We're going to talk some more NBA. We're going to get into this Aaron Rodgers situation. He's like, hey, I may hang him up after the season. We got Matt Powers joining us from Swish Theory to take a look at some of the guys who will be drafted in the NBA over the next several days. We got a message from Tyrese Halliburton. He says, man, I would go out there and do it again.

OK, not intentionally rip his Achilles, but he'd give it the old college try. We got Noah Dalzell who'll join us from SB Nation covers all things Celtics. I want to ask her about that cap situation and moving on from holiday and could Porzingis be next? There's so many questions, so many things to discuss. NFL, NBA, All-Star break the heat.

I'll keep you cool. It's the J.R. Sportbrief show on the Infinity Sports Network. You're listening to the J.R. Sportbrief. It is the J.R. Sportbrief show here on the Infinity Sports Network. Eight, eight, eight, seven, ten for ISN.

That's eight, eight, eight, seven, ten for ISN. The Thunder, they celebrated their parade today. Man, they couldn't even get to the parade before people started trading folks around. The morning of the NBA Finals, Kevin Durant gets moved to Houston the day after the NBA Finals. We got players that are still moving around. We learned that Drew Holiday as of last night, he is on his way to the Portland Trail Blazers.

It's it's wild. I walked in a door last night and this is what I heard on CBS Sports. Breaking news into CBS Sports HQ. The Boston Celtics are trading Drew Holiday to the Trail Blazers for Anthony Simons and two second round picks.

That's according to multiple reports. Simons averaged nineteen point three points and four point eight assists per game this season. This is the second time Holiday has been traded to Portland. He went to the Trail Blazers from Milwaukee in the Damian Lillard trade, but was then traded to Boston four days later. Yeah. And we all know he ended up winning a championship.

This is great. You think about the depth on the Boston Celtics and all the players that they have or had when they won a championship last year. Perfect fit around the guards Brown and Tatum.

But if you don't know when Tatum is going to return, you already have Brown. Both of these guys are on these ridiculous three hundred plus million dollar contracts like the tax man cometh. And so if you don't feel confident that you're going to go out there and compete for a championship, why am I spending all this money for? It doesn't make sense to go into the tax of which they already are. It doesn't make sense to go into another level of the tax. It doesn't make no damn sense.

And so they actually get younger. They get some scoring in the interim. And I think it's a foregone conclusion that one of the next pieces that they are likely to move just might be Kristaps Porzingis. OK, I mean, they're they were competitive and basically won a championship without him. He popped up in spot duty, played a couple of minutes and said, here I am, I'm healthy and I want a title.

OK, great. This past season, just a couple of months ago, Kristaps Porzingis could barely stay on the basketball court without being winded because of some respiratory issue that he was dealing with. And so Porzingis is going to be next to be shown the door. The Boston Celtics are just acquiring assets right now to hold down the fort for when the big dogs come back. Whenever Tatum comes back from that blown Achilles and whatever the hell the situation is with Brown and his knee, you would assume that we'll see him at the start of the season.

But there are no guarantees that that is the case. Keep in mind that the Boston Celtics have also or they are in the process of changing hands at their current ownership group at the tune of six billion dollars. That's right. The Lakers got sold last week for 10 billion dollars. And so yesterday, last night, that that wasn't the only move. Just a couple hours ago, we had another two teams.

I don't know what the hell to call them. Teams that you probably necessarily wouldn't spend money to watch. The Pelicans and the Wizards, they made a deal as well. We are breaking news out of the NBA, where the Wizards have acquired C.J. McCollum from the Pelicans.

That is, per multiple reports. The trade will also send Kelly Olenek and a future second round pick to D.C. In return, New Orleans will receive Jordan Poole, Sadiq Bey and the number 40 overall pick in this year's draft. The trade will give Washington nearly one hundred million dollars in cap space in the twenty twenty six season, allowing them to make a big splash in free agency. Good for them.

Good for them. I don't know who the hell is. I mean, they got a lot of young players up in Washington.

I actually saw them here when they stopped by Atlanta. I sat right in the third row and I looked at these guys and I'm like, who the hell is that guy? Oh, there's the French guy that they drafted.

Who's that guy? There's Jordan Poole. Yeah, the Washington Wizards are one of those teams right now. You turn the TV on and you could play one of them games that they play on TNT. Who he play for?

It's real simple. And so unfortunately, the Pelicans are pretty irrelevant because of Zion and not knowing whether or not he's going to be healthy or not. De'Jaunte Murray is one of the superstars in the NBA, or at least a former All-Star. He tore his Achilles. And so Jordan Poole will be out there with or without Zion shooting to his heart's content.

That man is going to be a happy dude, just jacking up every shot. And C.J. McCollum, let's be real, man. His better days, his best days are behind him.

His best days were with Damian Lillard and both of them were too damn small of a backcourt to actually win anything. Yeah, C.J. McCollum has his contract expiring. And don't be surprised if he gets traded again in the course of the season. There ain't nobody picking him up. He's going to have to show up and then decide, you know, do I want to be moved or am I going to have my contract expired?

So who knows what's going to take place between now and tomorrow? But as I said, there are a lot of rumors running around right now about Chris Staps Porzingis. Is he going to San Antonio? What a combination that would be with Victor Winbenyama. You got one guy, 7-5, 7-4, the other guy running around at 7-3.

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense what a world that is. Does Chris Staps Porzingis go to the Los Angeles Lakers? I mean, I don't know if him and Luca want to be back together, but hey, better situation. And you got LeBron. So why?

Why the hell not? Whoever's taking on Chris Staps Porzingis understands that he is, let's just say, not going to be healthy for the majority of the regular season. You're getting him for the playoffs. Please stand up, put your arms in the air, block a shot, go back the other way and knock down an open three.

Please, just do an amazing job at being a giant. I mean, that's what the hell they Celtics wanted him for now. Well, the Celtics may say, well, we ain't paying him. I want you to take a listen to what Shams had to say about the Celtics and what they're trying to achieve this offseason just a couple weeks ago. The other big ticket item I think this offseason is the Celtics and what are they going to do? And the primary focus, from my understanding, with the Celtics offseason has been Drew Holliday, Chris Staps Porzingis, Sam Houser. They're trade markets. Now, are teams making big offers and calling about Jalen Brown and Derek White?

One hundred percent. The Celtics prefer not to trade them, from my understanding, but listen, if they get a big offer, they have to look at everything. And I think they're going to get offers on the three guys that they're focused on. They're going to get offers potentially on Derek White and Jalen Brown. And I think between now and the draft and free agency, they're going to evaluate what makes sense from a value perspective. And that's where they're going to move. Everybody but Tatum?

Essentially. Well, yeah, they're going to move Tatum with a busted up Achilles. That sure as hell wouldn't happen. And who the heck are you getting back? I mean, you'd have to unless you're the Dallas Mavericks and you're keen on moving, you know, stars.

There's not a comparable player not to take that dude on and and move on. Look, the Boston Celtics, it was all good just a few months ago. OK, they won the championship last year. The Celtics were favorites to go back to the finals this year and potentially win. I thought that they would compete against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

But you see how fast things change, which is why it's not out of the realm of possibility. And it's also why Sam Presti is such a great GM that they just won the championship. And he's already trying to move back up in the draft just a just a day after the parade. And I wouldn't be surprised, the shocked if they grabbed the guy that we've never heard of. And in two years, three years, he's replacing a valuable piece in a rotation that they now don't have to go out there and pay. I think the days of moving superstars outside of Luca or Kevin Durant is slim and far and few in between. Got to draft some young players. Insulary pieces.

The Drew holidays, the CJ McCollums, even the Jordan Bulls of the world. Yeah, we'll see them moved around the chessboard all the damn time. Let's see what other trades take place between now and tomorrow. Damn it, the rest of the weekend.

Free agency hasn't even started yet in the NBA. Things are about to get a whole hell of a lot more interesting. It's the JR Sportbreeze show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. 888-710-4ISN.

That's 888-710-4ISN at the top of the hour. We'll talk about Aaron Rodgers and just a statement today letting everybody know that I'm probably going to call it a wrap. Is Aaron Rodgers somebody to trust? We'll talk about that in a little while.

We come back on the other side of the break. I don't know if you trust this guy, but LeBron James, he played against Cooper Flag at Team USA scrimmage. LeBron James has some words about the man who's expected, unless the Mavericks are really, really dumb.

I don't think they're that stupid. Expected to take Cooper Flag tomorrow. LeBron on Cooper Flag on the other side of the break. We'll talk about Aaron Rodgers.

And we got so much to get into. But right now it's time for a News Flash with Gordon Dahmer. You're listening to the JR Sportbreeze. It is the JR Sportbreeze show here with you coast to coast on the Infinity Sports Network. 888-710-4ISN is the number.

That's 888-710-4ISN. As the Oklahoma City Thunder bathe in Champaign, maybe come down from their high, their general manager Sam Presti is already working on the draft tomorrow. OKC, they select that number 15, number 24, number 44. And apparently the rich are trying to get richer. They're trying to package up these picks to acquire a higher pick in the draft. Can't blame them. I don't knock them. We talked about some of the trades that have taken place.

You heard some of them from Gordon Dahmer as well. C.J. McCollum going to Washington, Jordan Poole on his way to the Pelicans. We got Drew Holliday switching places, Boston and Portland with Anthony Simons. The teams are trying to open up their books. They're trying to save some cash. They're trying to create flexibility while still acquiring talent, whether or not they want the talent for the long run. Or they're just a stopgap, like C.J. McCollum.

Man is in Washington for what? So his contract can disappear and so can his money, so can his funds. And if there's a team that knows a thing or two about some crazy trades or one big crazy trade, it's the Dallas Mavericks, the same team that decided that they wanted to trade Luka Doncic away to the Los Angeles Lakers on a Saturday night in one of the most ridiculous, wildest trades that I've ever seen in my life. And it all worked out for the Dallas Mavericks because they ended up with the number one overall pick. Presumably tomorrow, they will go ahead and take Cooper Flag number one overall. OK, it's the world's worst kept secret. People can sit around and start debating whether or not they're going to trade the pick or trade him.

Come on now. Lightning doesn't strike twice in the same damn place. And if it does, well, the odds are pretty slim to none. Cooper Flag is going to be a Dallas Maverick. He'll be out there with Anthony Davis if he's healthy. He'll be out there with Klay Thompson if Klay Thompson stays healthy.

Not as injury prone as the last guy, but we missed two damn seasons. Oh, yeah. Kyrie Irving. Yeah.

It's another guy. Blew out his knee. We won't see Kyrie Irving.

It sucks. Cooper Flag is going to head into a situation when Jason Kidd is head coach, right? He's not going to get poached by the New York Knicks, right?

Either way, Cooper Flag is going to be in an enviable position. He'll be surrounded by some good players. He'll have a great coach. Jason Kidd is the guy who decided to let Giannis Atteracumpo run the point for the Milwaukee Bucks. If you watch Cooper Flag at Duke, you watched him during the tournament. He can do a little bit of everything. And last year, before he even started at Duke, which is even crazy to think about, he was scrimmaging with Team USA Basketball on their select team.

Keep in mind, Cooper Flag is 18 years old. And so what does that mean? He was playing against LeBron James and Steph Curry and Anthony Edwards.

I can go on and on. Kevin Durant. And he held his own. Apparently at one point in time during the course of the scrimmage, Cooper Flag, he went on a stretch where he was out there just getting buckets. He's 18.

He was 18. Playing against some of the best that the NBA and the United States of America have ever produced. And so LeBron James, on the eve, on the heels of the NBA draft, he decided to put in his two cents.

He was sitting down on his podcast, the Mind the Game podcast. And this is what LeBron James had to say about Cooper Flag being drafted by the Mavs. I personally think that he wants to be great. A guy that can do so many different things on the floor, can play with the ball, can play without the ball. His jump shot is going to continue to get better, super athletic, quick second jump. And also, he has the benefit, unlike myself, he gets to join a team that's established with Hall of Fame guys.

Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, right off the bat, Hall of Fame coach Jason Kidd. They can give him the whole blueprint while he continues to learn what his blueprint will be. And I think that's going to be an incredible thing for him to have. So I think he's going to be amazing.

Everything that I have ever heard about Cooper Flag is that he's a sponge. And you can watch how he played. He is a basketball player. OK, we just talked about a few guys who've been traded over the past several days.

Today, for example. Some of the decisions by Jordan Paul just make you want to rip your hair out. Why are you taking that shot? Why didn't you pass the ball?

It's infuriating watching some of these players who are not efficient, by the way. Just chuck and chuck and chuck the ball like they're at the YMCA with nobody in the gym. Jordan Paul last year averaged 20 points on 43 percent shooting. Hey, brah, did you ever think about, I don't know, going to the basket?

I don't know. When Draymond Green punched him in the head, it didn't help his shot selection at all. Didn't help him at all.

That's not the case with Cooper Flag. The guys are just he's efficient. He's long, he's athletic, he can dribble. And it's not like one thing that he can do that makes you go, oh, man, he's great. He's a freak athlete and he's smart.

He makes great decisions. I mean, if we take a look at Nikola Jokic, I have never seen ever, ever a basketball player as efficient as Nikola Jokic. It's like if you took Jason Kidd, gave him the ability to shoot early in his career and stretched him out. You get Jokic. I've never seen anybody so efficient outside of Nikola Jokic. Cooper Flag is going to be something interesting to watch. Hey, Batcher, are you excited to see what he does in the NBA?

Oh, of course. I'm just I'll be more excited if he wasn't on the Mavericks. Like, I feel like he's the type of player to where he would step in and elevate one of these mediocre teams to being French playoff in his first year. But now with Kyrie, Klay and AD, it's just kind of like, oh, he's with other great players. Yeah, but the reality is everybody that you just named, you can't count or rely on them.

There is almost I'm not going to say there's no possibility that doesn't exist. It's unlikely that we see Kyrie Irving this upcoming season. And if we see Kyrie Irving, this man is he's he's not even going to be fully recovered.

Let's put it that way. We know the history of Anthony Davis. He's not doing anything but getting older. And we also know the injury history of Klay Thompson. And so what the Dallas Mavericks, the best way to describe who and what they will probably be this upcoming season is scattershot. Like we will probably see Cooper Flag as a as a constant. Hopefully he doesn't go down to any type of long term injury, but they're going to be scattershot. I mean, day to day, game to game.

You can probably look at the Dallas Mavericks lineup and go, all right, this Cooper Flag is Anthony Davis playing today? Oh, no, he's not up. There's Gafford.

OK, it's it's going to be tough. And so I still think he is going to have the benefit of being in a system and learning around those guys if they're not in the rehab room. But he is 18 years old. These dudes are in their 30s. They are much closer to the end than they are to the beginning.

They all have extensive injury histories. And so sooner than later and I don't know, is it going to be a year, two years, three years down the line? He's only going to be twenty one, twenty two and twenty three. He's going to have a long runway past this season to be the driving force. He is going to be the face of the Dallas Mavericks.

Kyrie Klay Davis. It's just dudes that are right there right now. And I know Nico Harrison wants to tell everybody about the window is right now. It's not, bro.

It's it's not. Find me some healthy players first and we can figure it out. It's going to be an ongoing story and an onslaught of Cooper Flag stories coming tomorrow.

You already sat down. He's on the interview circuit like a lot of the other prospects. And Cooper Flag being from Maine, grew up a Boston Celtics fan. His parents stuck the Celtics from the 80s into his face for him to sit down and watch on YouTube so he could understand how to play basketball and actually move the ball the right way. He's an anomaly coming out of Maine, not necessarily known as a basketball hotbed, but this is what he had to say about representing from the far northeast. Yeah, I mean, it's been incredible talking about Maine United, you know, being with my guys that I was with since fifth grade, staying with them and playing at you all the way up through was amazing. And I think, you know, being able to prove to the state of Maine that it doesn't matter. You know, people say that, like, nobody comes from Maine, like you can't make it as a basketball player and things like that. I think that's a huge, a huge message that I like to try and send and, you know, prove. And, you know, it could be even bigger than Maine and anything could be from anywhere in the world.

Just proving that it doesn't matter where you're from and if people believe in you or not, that you just got to believe in yourself. Well, it's not like he stayed in Maine. He finished up his basketball career on the high school side by going to Florida. So I mean, if Maine was so damn popular from a basketball perspective, he would have stayed.

OK, he left. He went to Duke. And now he's going to be selected at number one overall. Congratulations to the fans of the Dallas Mavericks because you went from hell to heaven rather quickly. And I know you had some folks who believe that this is all rigged and pretty ridiculous. But we live in a wild world here. And apparently, hey, we got some news.

What's going on here? Yeah, so Shams just tweeted out that the Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks and Brooklyn Nets are finalizing a three team trade that sends Porzingis and a second round pick to the Atlanta Hawks. Terrence Mann and the 22nd pick to the Nets and Georges Nyang a second rounder to the Celtics.

Wow. Let me tell you something about the Atlanta Hawks. They know and we got and we got a new we got a new GM here.

We got new people. They got rid of Landry Fields, the Atlanta Hawks. My apologies to my friends with the Hawks. The Hawks are a train wreck. They just brought on Chris Staps, Porzingis to do absolutely nothing. Nothing.

Like you can't make this stuff up. Porzingis is not going to be healthy with the Hawks. They already got Johnson.

He can't stay healthy. What a mess. Porzingis to the Hawks, Terrence Mann to the Nets and Georges Nyang, who's been here just a couple of months to the Celtics. Whoop the freakin do. Well, you're a Nets fan.

Do you even care? There's going to be another move coming after this. Well, considering now we have eight and three other firsts. So I'd expect something else to be coming behind this. Oh, absolutely. Wow. Chris Staps, Porzingis, now a member of the Atlanta Hawks and I know Hawks fans. They do not. I don't know.

This is a joke. Chris Staps is not going to play more than 60 games. I don't I don't know what the Hawks deal is here or whatever. Maybe they're hoping for his contract to expire in a few years.

And at that point, Trey Young will already be wanting out. Chris Staps, Porzingis, now a member of the Atlanta Hawks. The Celtics make another move in the span of two in the span of a day. Offloading Drew Holliday and Chris Staps, Porzingis, bringing in Anthony Simons and George Nyang. OK, well, there's going to be some more moves between now and tomorrow. 8 8 8 7 10 for ISN. That's 8 8 8 7 10 for ISN. We've got Matt Powers coming up to talk about the draft in a couple of hours. We got Noah Dalzell joining us to talk about the Celtics, the JR sport re-show, the Infinity Sports Network.
