If your phone sounds like mine, you know life gets busy. But no matter how busy I am, my health, including my sexual health, is a priority for me. When I learned prep could be an option for women, I looked into it. Prep can be about 99 effective in preventing HIV through sex when taken as prescribed, and it comes as a long-acting injectable, which might mean more time between doses. Ask your healthcare provider about a long-acting injectable prep option, and visit PrepIsForWomen.com.
Sponsored by Gilead. Welcome to the radio program, Dana Lash with you, and we. We are here at the top of this first hour, and we got some good jobs numbers out today too. That's the other thing, good jobs numbers, and we'll go over some of that. We're going to talk about the tariff situation and look at national sentiment here coming up.
And our friend Carol Roth is going to join us as well. And then we're going to discuss the palace intrigue. The pal and palace intrigue, and kind of going forward, what has to happen? But you heard Podus; he was talking about it's not a conflict with Iran, but it's an occupation. Talking about the regime, this is also what he said about Hegseth.
Because let me tell you, the palace intrigue is pretty crazy, and this is something you're going to kind of. Keep an eye on, but not a serious eye, because a lot of this is. There's a lot of theater here. This is cut.
Well, no, no, no. Actually, I want to get into. No, this is going to be. Yeah, cut three. That's right.
Let's play this. We see some chatter about Pete Hegseth. Are you expecting any staffing changes between now? Pete Hegseth has done a fantastic job.
Now, it's got some interesting things. You know, we had more generals than we we did in World War II. We had so many generals; everybody was a four-star general. I never saw anything like it. And many of those people were woke.
I don't like a woke general. He doesn't like a woke general. That's interesting. Remember, there was a lot of discussion about who's this general that's getting let let go. Why is this individual getting removed from DOD?
There was a a big bust up about that, and some of it was well, are they actually doing what needs to be done? Are they enforcing? Are are they carrying out the the Mission of the the mission of the White House is that exact. Are they carrying out the edict of the voters? Are they are they listening to the executive, the office of the executive?
That's the big thing, and so that's one of the reasons why you saw some of this. I also think there's palace intrigue, and that everybody's getting thrown under the bus except for the people that are kind of responsible for midterms. Which we're going to talk about as well, but Hegseth. I listen. I want you to pay attention to something.
How quickly this stuff changes. Hegseth on the right before the election, everybody loved him. Did they not? Before the election, even before Ohio, a lot of people like Vivek Ramaswamy. Did they not?
I mean, I thought he was. I've never thought he was the best candidate. I was raked over the coals by a lot of the people that are now throwing Trump under the bus, which I find a fascinating thing. That's a whole other discussion. But how quickly has it changed?
How quickly have people flipped? What did I tell you back? I want you to go back to what I wrote on Substack earlier this week. This is going to help you navigate some of this stuff. And you're going to have to like juggle.
You're going to have to be juggling with a lot of this because we have.
So over at Substack, I wrote about how what you're what what to expect, what to expect, and kind of how this is going to shape, really how we're going to be able to go at the left going forward. Right. I wrote on Substack the night of the election. Just very short piece, but I said there's going to be some things that you're going to see. What to expect?
The base is going to turn on Trump. It's already happening. The country will follow, and the people who are the loudest and forcing the purity test are now the first to go after anyone defending his decision. And all of the names you know, and all of the people that you see on social media, these are the people that are going to be implicated. And they may actually, Trump is going to be impeached, and they may actually make it succeed.
Borders funding will stop, fraud investigations will stop, will be frozen geopolitically. I wrote 2028 started last year, and you'll start hearing about it now on TV and online. You will be told that everything you supported was a lie, and that the achievements we see are nothing. And both the Dems and the GOP will unite in this. The Dems because they want an easy victory in 2028.
The GOP because they can't they they can't elevate another candidate. Particularly an authoritative one, unless MAGA is politically destroyed, and it's going to get very rough. And now we're starting to see that happen. We're seeing it underway now, and that's the thing to note because that is going to, I think, freeze a lot of the good discussion that needs to happen about strategies to stop what's coming. Already, we're seeing murmurs of abolishing the electoral college.
These are real things that are happening right now. These are real discussions that Democrats are proposing. They're talking about their dreams for the Supreme Court already. This is a very big deal too. They're already talking about that, and this is a this is a a massive this all of the power that they're able to have, state by state, and then the how they're able to lock things up congressionally.
Is we haven't seen it quite yet. They have some pretty big gains, so we need to figure out the strategy on that. The problem with all of this stuff on the right, and this is there's a piece actually by a couple of different conservatives out today. That are admonishing the GOP correctly, I think, for spending, particularly people within the administration, for spending too much time trying to define what the party looks like right now after midterms, instead of figuring out how to repair the wall so that the flood's not coming in. That's where we're at right now, and so this whole thing.
I we're not going to. It's it's good to do a post mortem, but what's not good is the fallous measuring contest that we're seeing from some aspects. I think, and like I said, we're going to talk to Carol Roth about a lot of the economic factors to understand that. Because what is Congress going to be able to do domestically? What are we going to be able to do for relief in the short term right now?
Because it's it's going to get bad when Democrats take over. Goodbye tax cuts. They are also signaling that they want to go after guns. Jamie Raskin is already making moves on that. There is a lot of bad stuff coming down the pike, and the right is entirely in disarray because there are people who are trying to prosecute two thousand and twenty-eight right this second.
The time for two thousand and twenty-eight is going to come, but they decided to launch it right now. Right now, we're just trying to cover our ass. If I'm being honest, we're just trying to plug the holes so that we can get some footing, and the country doesn't go entirely the rest of the way to hell.
So, it's good to recognize what went wrong and try to fix it as best we can with the time we have left until the new Congress is seated. But in the meantime, got to keep an eye on some of this other stuff. I think it's important. This was an interesting soundbite from Desantis on the Ohio race. This is cut six.
Listen to this, Ohio Governor. I mean, how bad did did they beat Vivek like a drum?
Now, part of that was Vivek. Quite frankly, I don't know why they would have pushed him to be the candidate there. Ohio. My mom's from Youngstown. Ohio is a working class state, very blue collar.
You know Vivek, he's a like a tech guy. Did this Alzheimer's, and he wants to bring in people, foreign worker on visas. That is not the type of person that's going to sell. And I know he shot himself in the foot. I know he did a lot of other stuff to make it a real landslide against him.
But even with that, it's like you know you got to meet the voters where they are on some of this stuff. I think we would have done better in Ohio had we had a had a candidate that was more representative or more in tune. With the the interest of kind of these blue collar people that make the backbone of Ohio, but Ohio governor.
So candidate quality is another thing we're going to have to discuss, and be honest about it.
Now there were a lot of really good patriots, by the way, out there who were very, they were they were doing what they needed to do to get the ball downfield, because they knew what was at stake. Even if they didn't like the candidate, they did it anyway. And God loved those patriots because they realized the time to switch out candidates wasn't in the home stretch going into the you know election day. The time to do that is in the primaries and before the primaries. We're going to need a little bit more attention and aggression in that period, the primaries, and then the period before that.

Your support makes the difference. Hey y'all! It's Lauren La Rosa, and y'all know I always have the latest.
So on my new audio series Love Lately, I'm getting into the conversations we're really having about love, relationships, and our sexual health. Every week, it's me and Dr. Contessa Metcalf, my big sister with a medical degree, breaking down what the culture says versus what the doctor says, and helping make sense of it all. Get into it. You know, the thing me and my friends don't really talk about is like how you're having conversations with people about getting tested.
I'll be honest, so many women don't feel comfortable talking about it, and they don't feel comfortable advocating for themselves. But let's go ahead and just put you in a position to where you can kind of empower yourself, and it it isn't something. It's not a judgment thing. It brings that peace of mind that y'all can just do what y'all do and have a good time. Yeah.
I say, get tested together, and that's beautiful. Brings you closer together. Listen to Love Lately with Lauren La Rosa from iHarts Ruby Studio on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Brought to you by Gilead Sciences. And now, all of the news you would probably miss.
It's time for Dana's Quick Five.
So, this is a crazy story. Death row bombshell: Gavin Newsom like just commuted the sentences of all 548 death prisoners, largest mass pardon in history. He said he made his objection. Do they were all of these inmates were on death row. We're talking convictions for super violent crimes, and he said, "Well, he's got a moral objection to the death penalty, so he decided to suspend the death penalty for these.
He commuted the sentences of all of these, so they go from death row to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
So that means California taxpayers are going to be paying for these violent criminals for quite a long time. For quite a long time." So here's an interesting. Oh wait.
So for scientists have grown a human eye lens, possibly paving the way for new treatments. This is interesting. They've grown realistic human lenses from stem cells for the first time, which they say could potentially pave the way for new treatments for cataracts and other eye conditions. It's a new breakthrough. They it was done at a UK university, and they created what they call mini lenses in a lab.
They include experts from Cardiff University and the University of Osaka in Japan, and they say these must resemble the natural lenses inside of the human eye.
So they're going to be able to do a number of things: better test new medicines, study new eye diseases, and also things like contact. All the kinds of stuff is affected. Tidy whiteies really do damage men's fertility. I knew it. I knew it.
I just don't think that look that they seem comfortable. Twenty seven thousand men were studied, and it confirms tight briefs impact sperm quality and sexual function. And also, they're just not hot. It's gonna be honest. They're just not.
For most men, boxers or briefs. That used to be the question back in the day. I'll never forget. I was a teenager, and MTV. Who do they ask?
They ask somebody. Boxers or briefs? I can't remember. It was a big thing. That was like the question one election cycle.
Anyway, they did they did previous research around it, but I I feel like they had a really small. Apparently, it was under one thousand. But this time, they studied a big old almost thirty thousand dudes, and they self reported whether what what they wore, and then they tested them. This seems like pretty concrete.
So, ladies, you know, get y'all, get y'all some man. No, none of the tidy whiteies. Interesting. Let's see. A 97 year old California man.
This is sad. He died. Died at his own birthday party moments after dance. Moments after dancing to the B G. Staying alive.
Oh my! And there's photos. I mean, not of him, like you know, but like right at his party. His name is Vito. I mean, literally moments after he was dancing to "Staying Alive." God decided to call him home, so there it is.
You know what? He went out his way. Good for him. And apparently, a chicken sacrifice took place on the Upper West Side. Just a normal Black Magic Day, New York City.
You know that, right? Just you know, chicken sacrifices. You know, needles and feces, all that good stuff. Coming up, we've got palace intrigue. Trump just did something petty, and I love it.
All kinds of stuff. Don't go anywhere. Our partners at Alliance Defending Freedom. This is an organization that is the tip of the spear. It's a nonprofit legal organization defending religious liberty, free speech, the sanctity of life, and parental rights.
You know what the stuff that they've been doing. They have defended. First thought, they were in Dobbs v. Jackson. That was the overturning of Roe v.
Wade. That was eighty after they were helping to defend Mississippi's abortion law. On that, they also defended Jack Phillips. He's a baker, a cake artist, Masterpiece Cake Shop. Supreme Court ruled in his favor seven to two after Colorado officials persecuted him for being a Christian for ten years.
There's so many more. They have a case right now with Cali Keeler. She was 15. She is the wrestler. You guys remember seeing this video?
Female wrestler who a boy wanted to wrestle women, and it was a male student who identified as trans was wrestling her, and she said, "Well, I mean, it looks bad. I would say that it was that was a sexual assault. There were hands that were going where they shouldn't have been, and she was so distressed, and it was all on video. She allowed herself to be pinned just to get it over with." And so, ADF is representing her and her mother, advocating for female athlete safety, parental rights, and accountability. These are real wins that are helping to bolster your rights as parents.
Do not let schools put ideology over the safety of girls in sports. Your support today can help Cali and other athletes like her. Joinadf.com/dana is the site to go to. Your donations matter. You can text Dana to eight three eight four eight.

Welcome back to the program, Dana Lash. With you, we're at the bottom of the second hour, and if you missed anything, go get the podcast channel three hundred forty-seven Direct TV, Substack, YouTube, X, all of it. It's time for some Gen X power. I think I feel like like doing the Gen X Voltron, like all the cats come together and it's like one giant Gen X action figure. That's what I feel like every single time I talk to Carol Roth, who I think.
Should probably be named. If I was president, which I don't want to represent anybody that would vote for me, I would make Carol like the math. What we would call it, guru, and teach America about finances because I think that we need it, and especially now after the election. You all know the lovely Carol Roth. Not only does she have the best hair and punditry, but she also has a great book.
You will own nothing in your war with a new financial world order. She's a recovering investment banker, entrepreneur, best-selling author, and you can go and get her newsletter at carolroth.com/news. And she joins us now, my good friend. How are we feeling today? It's Friday.
What a week! I feel like you know. I feel like I say this a lot on the show, but I'd like to quote my favorite comedy airplane once again. Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue. That's right.
Bring us all the glue. Oh my gosh! I um. I well, there's several things here. I let me start with the jobs numbers that came out, and then I want to get into like some of.
We'll go into the perception of that by the American public, and then we'll look at tariffs and all of this because we had some good jobs numbers that came out. We just spent a segment on it talking about it, and they were revised up. They you know it exceeded what the economists were predicting. I get it, and it's more private sector than it was public sector, like under Biden Harris. But what gets me is this.
Dissonance. This, this. I mean, the public thinks we're, and I get it. Times are tough, and and I'm not disputing any of that. But I sort of feel like they're looking like we're in the Great Depression.
And yes, we're still getting out of it, but it's not like Great Depression. I just don't under. I don't want to see headlines, Carol, that says Democrats were right about everything in the economy. And I saw like a five of those today.
So this is a very nuanced conversation, as it always is. A few things: is one is the jobs numbers are always highly suspect. They've been highly suspect for years and years and years.
So this is not a current thing. If you remember, President Trump was trying to put somebody, EJ. Antony, who's a friend, in place to fix the jobs numbers, and that was all shut down.
So you know. We don't know if these numbers are real or not. If they're going to be revised, it was really good news that last month was actually revised up. Usually, it goes in the other direction.
So I think that's positive. I think the challenge to the numbers, if you look in and see what's having the biggest impact on the numbers, there's two areas. One is healthcare, which we know is sort of government adjacent in terms of growth.
So even though it's not, you know, a typical Government jobs, government funds are going to support that. The other is AI, and AI, the data center build out, you know, all of the jobs that are supporting everything from coding to teaching people how to use this and whatnot. That was a really big driver, and it was a driver of this jobs report, and it's been one of the biggest drivers of growth in the economy. Because if you look at the economy overall, we've actually had pretty nice growth. This year, and we're projected for that to to continue on.
So, you know, this is all backward looking. And if you're somebody who's not participating in AI, or you're worried that your job is going to be taken by AI, I can see where you you know don't necessarily think that's a good thing. And then, obviously, now going forward, where you have not only at the federal level, but at state and local levels, all of these Marxists and socialists. And you know, absolute cretins who are now in charge. You know, they're going to be putting a wrench into that.
So, if you don't have AI growing and trying to drag the rest of the economy along with it, then I'm not really sure what you have other than a giant mess. Yeah, it is a giant mess, and that's. I love the nuance. Look at this because that's. I mean, you see the headlines, and then you see everyone trying to massage these numbers.
And I'm not an economist, that's why I'm like, I'm going to bring on somebody who actually knows about. I mean, I. I know it's good and bad. I would say I'm not an economist either because economists can't forecast their way out of a paperback. I'm an economic explainer, so I take the information and I explain it because those other people are academics that don't know what they're talking about.
That's that's such a great point. If you guys are just tuning in, our good friend Carol Roth is joining us to talk about all of this.
Well, does that so what does that mean for like the rates and what the Fed is going to do because? That's what this for the. I just think they're going to they're going to restrict the market more. They're going to tighten it more, and that that's that's going to make a mess. Yeah, so this is a there.
There are a few data points, and what we can go through all of them that we need to watch for in the Fed meeting, which is coming up in early December, is certainly one of them. Having strong jobs numbers, and we will get another report before that meeting, so that will factor in. But that makes it seem as they're looking at the data that okay, you know, this looks like you know the economy is pretty strong and jobs are pretty strong.
So if Out of whack, we can go ahead and you know continue to raise rates without it necessarily having an immediate impact on jobs. The challenge is, as we've talked about many times before, is that the inflation isn't coming from things that the Fed's tools are going to be able to fix. Right? They can't you know print more oil. Yeah.
They can't. They can't print more things. You know, on the supply side. That that are causing the inflation.
So I personally don't think their tools are meaningful, and I worry that if they continue to raise rates, that you know, especially now with all of these Democrats in in power, that we're going to have a situation where things you know really go in the wrong direction. And the Fed is notorious for doing the wrong thing at the wrong time.
So I'm hoping that they'll say, "Hey, we had a big change." In terms of what's going on politically, you know, it seems like maybe that will put some pressure on, you know, the conflict in Iran, and you know that should help with the inflation scenario.
So I'm hoping they will be smart enough to take a pause because I'm not a fan of Fed. I don't think what they do is helpful anyway, and I think that this could be a big disaster. Does that mean that's what they're going to do? The market certainly doesn't think so. The Market certainly at this point thinks they're going to raise, but we get we have three data points I want to point out.
We have inflation starting with the CPI coming out next week, so that's going to give us you know where is where is that going and where is what's driving it. The second big thing is the Anthropic IPO, which is supposed to be, you know, one of the biggest IPOs of all time. It's supposed to come out in two weeks. If that can't get done, if it gets done on a smaller basis than the capital they wanted to raise, or if the pricing is weak on that, that's going to say a lot about markets and the economy, which could give a signal to the Fed, and then ultimately they'll pack. That out, you know, at the Fed meeting in December.
So, I am going to be looking at all of those data points really closely to see, you know, where I think things are going and how quickly I think things are deteriorating. Hopefully, they won't. Hopefully, they won't. Hopefully, everyone will be smart and be thoughtful here. But we've been burned before.
You just changed it. I hope everybody. We, but you are right. We have been burned before, and we've. Come through it, not without some scratches, but we've we've gotten through it.
We're talking with our friend Carol Roth. I want to switch, kind of switch gears. It's still all kind of in the same wheelhouse.
So, the whole thing with the election, and obviously Americans were livid. This was the anger, and this vote is on like anything I've ever seen before, and I know that there's a big debate on the right, and I I think there's a lot of nuance that was lost in it because you had I mean you had the vice president who came out and said it was the it was all lost because of Iran, which I don't that's what I had disagreed with because I thought. I mean, I we you and I talked about this. That's the thing, you know. I I we've had the conversation about tariffs and popularity of tariffs and how it's affecting everyone.
And we talked about you know the approval rating being hurt after Liberation Day, and people were talking about and they were talking about gas prices and everything else. But to say it was just that the one thing, I thought was really disingenuous, and it's it's it's scary because it makes me think that if Republicans can't recognize all of the factors that control Attributed to this loss, how are they going to correct anything for any kind of a future win? And that was the problem. And the tariffs—I'm going to hand it over to you. That was a real thing that not everybody agreed with.
I mean, there wasn't a lot of widespread support on that in the beginning. Yeah, so I hate to say like I told you so because it sounds so awful. But I'm just going to say, obviously, I'm not surprised because you and I, Dana, have been talking about this since Trump was elected. And the very first thing you had me on the show, and the very first thing I said to you is, he was elected because of cost of living issues under Biden, and this is going to be very challenging for him because you know there are only so many things you can do at the federal level. A lot of this is state and local, and so you have to start to do those things.
There's a very clear choreography. You have to do those things, and you have to shine the light on what's happening state and local, and make some pushes there so that we can make some progress and you can get some wins. And instead of doing that, the first thing that we had was tariff insanity, and we talked about at the time that it was just an unforced error. It doesn't mean I don't think we should have any tariffs. Of course, there should be tariffs.
There have been tariffs in place under Biden. There are things that are national and economic security oriented that we want to make sure we make in America. But instead of being surgical about it, it was broad based. I mean, you had the president come out and say, "I don't care if your dolls and toys cost more money." That is not what people elected him to do. And I'm sorry that this is a painful thing for people to hear.
Whether you agree with it or not. But the perception of it was not. Felt by the American people, who said, "You're going to lower our costs, and now we're seeing things go up. You're not making any headway on the low-hanging fruit of the cost of education for young people. You're not doing things about making mortgage rates portable or assumable that could help with housing.
There was nothing that was, you know, other than you could say, okay, we've got, you know, obviously the illegals out of the country, which does help, but people don't necessarily." Tie that directly together. I just don't think there was a a choreography, an order of operations that was right to be able to address those things. And then, you know, if you have a conflict with Iran, which I think the initial strike made a lot of sense. I think the ongoing probably doesn't, but again, I'm not in the know. It's just a perception.
But if you're not addressing the key things before you do this, it's Gonna fall flat, and that's the problem. The problem is the messaging. Not to mention, every time we've seen waste, fraud, and abuse, we've seen it identified, but nobody said, you know, not only we're gonna stop this, but we're gonna reclaim the money. We keep getting all this money out to these lunatics all over the place, and it's like, okay, well, we identified it.
Well, what are you guys doing about it?
So it's Congress's fault, it's the administration's fault, it's the messaging's fault, and all of these things together create created a perception that we did not care that you were put in place to help us with cost of living. We were not seeing that said and JMD. Our throats over and over again, which you and I said needed to happen from day one. I think your point, Carol, about not having any of that stuff situated, especially because I agree with you on Iran, and I think the the failure with Iran began with the ceasefire and the disastrous MOU, but not having that in place. Before or or at least as you were talking about messaging, like this is a priority, that was a major thing, and voters are livid.
Last last word, I'll get a question for you on this because now, I mean, what Congress is going to go back in for a couple weeks, and then new Congress comes in January, and then that's it. How this is going to be hard for Republicans. What would you would have them do? One thing that you would have them do. God, I hope they're listening, so that they can at least try to stave off what's coming because it's going to be pretty insurmountable when they come in.
Trump's not going to have any room.
So, assuming that they can get things done, these are just ideas. I can't help with the execution piece of this. But as I said, the lowest hanging fruit I've said over and over again is getting the government out of education. I mean, we had an administration, we had a Congress that came in and said, "Hey, colleges are ripping off young Americans. We have a wholesale wealth transfer going on from young people to college administrators.
You could just." Get the government out of college education and start reworking that. And I've written extensively to go through all the the points of how you do it. In fact, I had somebody else I know who knew President Trump. I wrote up an entire memo and had it sent to the administration, step by step, of how you do do it. But do something like that.
Do something like you know assumability or portability of mortgages. Do something to show that you're actually listening and understanding that average Americans are feeling pain. In cost of living right now, and that you care, and that you can actually do something, because that's the problem with the Republicans. They talk great; they're a great opposition party, but they are a do nothing party. And until they actually do something helpful, we're just going to end up in the situation over and over again.
And the Marxists and the you know Democratic Socialists are going to take over and absolutely destroy this country.

Another thing me and my friends don't really talk about is like how you're having conversations with people about getting tested.
I'll be honest, so many women don't feel comfortable talking about it, and they don't feel comfortable advocating for themselves. But let's go ahead and just put you in a position to where you can kind of empower yourself, and it isn't something.
It's his life mission to make bad decisions.
It's time for Florida Man. Oh man, are we really? Doing this one, no, I don't. Oh my gosh! Let me just let me start with the guy that I didn't get to finish yesterday.
Before I, oh man, I am endlessly fascinated by this story. I don't know this. I first saw this at Long Crime, and I'm like, you know what? I'm gonna have to go and look this story up because this is too crazy. Because it was a 70 year old man who was wheeling a trash can down the road, and the woman is named Gang Gang.
And apparently, he was in high vis clothes, and he had a corpse in a dumpster, and he was wheeling it down the road, and he got caught by his neighbors. The man. Apparently, four people, different people on bicycles, told the guy there was a dead person in the bin, and they called police after seeing the body, and had gunshot wounds and all this. They ended up finding this guy and taking him into custody. He was the one who allegedly moved the trash bin.
He said he went to the home to visit a woman he knew was gang gang, and then he did not know somebody who he did not know came out looking for the victim, and they were arguing, and there were shots fired, and so he's in jail. Miami Dade right now on fifteen thousand dollar bond. They're trying to. They have not yet identified all of the people involved in this story. But moral of the story: Don't walk with a corpse in your trash bin and hide his clothing down the middle of a neighborhood.
We have headlines on the way as we move. Our partners that helps bring you the program. We'll take it down a notch. You ever seen the the art people out there? The AARP.
They've tried to be the bouncer for all the people over fifty. They're like, no, no, no, come join our club. We're AARP. But then, do you ever look at like the stuff that they actually promote? My parents get my mom gets mailers on this stuff, and I mean, I just think that if you're an organization that like claims that you're standing for a certain demographic, that I don't know, like you maybe don't want to sit here and advocate for Obamacare and and Build Back Better.
And all this other stuff, but that's what they've done. I mean, it feels like they really betrayed their the community that they said that they wanted to represent. This is where AMAC comes in. There's an alternative, the associate Association of Mature American Citizens. There's over two million people in this group.
They are a real Proven voice in Washington on Social Security, Medicare, and so many other issues, and they actually share your values. They believe that it's important to keep our American values, not just for you, but for your kids and your grandkids.
So they're making all of you the best offer that they've got: five years of membership in AMAC for thirty-five dollars, one payment, and your spouse is included. There's a hand. There's a one hundred percent money back guarantee. Seven dollars a year. Against AARP seventy nine, and you and your spouse, you get the advocacy, the member discounts, the magazine, all of it for five years.
Five years for just thirty five dollars.
Now visit Amac Amac Amac dot us slash Dana. That's Amac dot us slash Dana. Join the organization that actually shares your values. Hey y'all! It's Lauren La Rosa, and y'all know I always have the latest.

Oh say, can you see by the dawn's early light? What so proudly we hailed as the twilight's last gleaming? I wasn't gonna talk over it to say anything because I thought, oh, I'm not gonna talk over the anthem. But what this guy did?
Okay, why in the middle of the anthem do you have to sit here and wave a flag about how you have to have how you like to have sex, singing the anthem? But guys, look at how I like to do it. I mean, stop it, stop it. Nobody, what when is this nonsense gonna stop? For real, you're singing the anthem.
Be respectful. That's so gay. That's just so gay. G H E Y. Welcome back, Dana Lash.
With you, where was that at? What game was that at, Steve? There you go. That's why. I mean, and nobody sings it by holding the note at the proud part.
They hold the note at the land of the free part. Right. You know what I mean? Can I ask a question? Whenever you all hear, like the the first like bar, of somebody singing the anthem.
Do you kind of hold it in and say a little prayer, like, dear, dear God, don't, don't let this person blow this. This is, gosh, right? I think this universe—it's like a mini reenactment of the actual War of Independence. Every time someone starts it, and you just kind of hold your breath, like, are the rockets really going to have a red glare, or are you going to fall flat, like literally flat, flat? Like, how is this going to work?
I always, I have that feeling whenever you guys know it—you know the feeling. Like as soon as someone goes, oh say can't you're like, oh my gosh! All right, here we go. How is this gonna go? How is this gonna go?
Because not everybody can be Whitney. No, not everybody can be Whitney. And there's been some really great anthems that have been sung. The gentleman was he a sailor who sung sung the anthem. Last big aim.

And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick Five.
I just saw this headline too. In Texas, there's going to be a majority female Supreme Court. Four Democrat challengers and seated the Republican incumbents up for re-election.
So seven of the nine justices on the court are going to be women.
Well, you know, there's, there's that. Maybe the polar bears. Maybe something will happen with global warming. After all, I mean, could we? Can we hope for that at least?
Maybe I don't even know. Maybe we can. Maybe we can. I just lost my whole rundown. Where is it?
Okay, it is. Also, let's see. We have a oof. Apparently, they say eating more carbs could turn back your biological clock. Come on, no, Kane.
I want to believe this very serious science. Let's look at this very respectable scientific study. Bread, pasta, and potatoes. What they said? Yes, eating more carbs could turn back your biological clock.
This is a story from the Telegraph. They're saying, of course, yes, healthy carbs. I get it, but still, I'm believing this, Kane. This is important science. Science.
That's what it is. Having a potato sandwich later. Can I have a potato sandwich with some noodles on it? I'm going to try the toddler all beige diet. Right?
To all beige. I'll eat it if it's beige. Several planes across Europe searched or diverted after malicious hoax bomb threats. Multiple threats.
Now it's unclear if some of them were UK departures. Ryanair was another. They don't know if they're connected. That's what they're trying to figure out. But they said that.
They had two from Heathrow, one from Manchester. They were threatened with what their government called malicious hoaxes. All the planes landed safely, and no explosives were found. But still, the fact that now we're gonna we're gonna swap planes now—that's what it's gonna be. Three months adrift at sea, finally found alive.
Five people. Found alive after they were adrift, five people, including two children, they had drifted more than 3,400 miles across the Pacific in a little boat for about three months. They were among nine passengers who left the Micronesian islands of Meruio and Rua on July 30th for a one-hour boat trip. Storm blew them off course. Ten-day search by the Coast Guard, Navy, and Air Force, and then the operation was abandoned.
But on Sunday, villagers on Fanning Island spotted the survivors, brought them to shore. They got medical care, and they're going to be transferred to a. Another island for treatment, and this is an atoll in the remote Line Islands.
So this is way out in the Central Pacific, way out there. God love them. I mean, they finally found it. That's amazing that they were. I mean, when you actually, I Google mapped exactly where that was.
I was like, I know that it's in. You know the down there, like near South of Coral Sea, I think. But good heavens, it is way out in the middle of nowhere.
So that's actually crazy that these people were found, like needle in a haystack. And Tony Hawk was kicked out of an LA park while celebrating Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Three and filming a video. And he got kicked out. Literally, Tony Hawk dead. This is the Augusto Papá podcast.
