Did you know that you can recycle prosthetic limbs?

Until my wife, Gracie, lost both of her legs ... we didn't realize that the components, feet, knees, pylons, adapters, screws, prosthetic socks, belts, and other related items for prosthetic limbs could be recycled.

When Gracie and I launched STANDING WITH HOPE in Ghana, we set about collecting used prosthetic limbs from prosthetists, funeral homes, families of amputees, and even some of Gracie's former limbs. I used to sit in our den surrounded by used prosthetic limbs and disassemble those devices late into the evening.  Then, I'd box all the parts in good working order ...and ship them to Ghana, or stuff them in our suitcases to take over during our trips.

Eventually, the task grew to great to manage, and we found an unusual partner to help us recycle these devices. Listen to Gracie discuss this ...and please share this with as many as you can. The more prosthetic limbs we recycle ...the more people we can help walk!

Perfect Christmas gift.

Why not pick one chicken even have a couple chicken maybe it's not the get for your family but it is the perfect gift for poor family ninja chicken can break the cycle of poverty for poor family yes chicken chickens and provide nourishment for family and they can sell those eggs at the market for income when you donate a chicken or any other gospel for Asia. 1% of what you give goes to the field and get the ball went gospel fundraiser to support family.

Jesus family this Christmas and give them 66 when see chickens and camping years ago. Gracie last session: standing with Hope this was part of the vision that she had after losing both of her legs. She wanted to provide quality person glimpsed her fellow amputees as a means of sharing the gospel working in the country of West Africa for many many years and part of that involves a prosthetic limb recycling program with an unusual collaboration Gracie, when you envision doing a prosthetic limb outreach. Did you ever think the inmates would help you do not in a million years. When you go to the facility run by core civic over in Nashville and you see the faces of these inmates that are working on prosthetic limbs that you helped collect from all of the countries that you put out the plea for and their disassembly sell these legs like what you have your own prosthetic arms and orange everything when you see all this. What is the duty makes me cry because I see this on their faces and I know I know what it is locked in place where you can't get out without somebody else allowing you to get out so in so these men are so glad to be doing as one said something good with my did you know before you became an amputee. The parts of prosthetic limbs could be recycled now had no idea I thought Peg leg. I thought of wooden legs. I never thought of titanium and carbon legs and flexibly the legs and all that. I never thought about. As you watch these inmates participate in something like this, knowing that there helping other people about walk providing the means for the supplies to do to stop the heart level. I wish I could explain to the world what I say here and I wish I could be able to go and say the this guy right here with us.

I never not feel that way out every time you know you always make me clean. I don't want to leave. I I feel like I'm at home with them and I feel like a common I could put together.

Now that you could experience with what you think of faith-based programs course. I think there is absolutely awesome and I think every prison out there have faith-based programs like this because the return rate of the men that are involved. Faith-based program and other ones like that I know about this are amazingly low rate here.

I think that says me just has something to do with God uses somebody broken people want to donate or use prosthetic limb passed away or somebody will groom you donated some of your own how to do that, please go to standing with.com/recycle gaming without.com/recycle fixtures
