And man, if you've had a challenging week then your blood pressure might be a little up there. And we'll talk about the things that get you there and how you can combat that. Thank you, Pastor Greg. Yes, stressful weeks do increase the blood pressure. Stressful lives increase the blood pressure. So, you know, we've got to find a way to be able to get ourselves back down and calm ourselves. And, you know, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is always the first place to start. But a lot of time spent on your knees trying to, you know, tell him your problems and have him interact in your life for you. But we still have stresses. Or if your knees are messed up like my knees are, then you can't physically get on your knees. Then you sit in your wheelchair and you imagine yourself on your knees and you close your eyes and you just really drift off and get into the presence of God because that's where you've got to be in order to get through all of the stuff that we're facing today.

And there's a lot of it. Let's talk blood pressure a little bit here today. That's going to be what we're going to do. We're going to talk about improving healthy blood pressure. We're going to talk about cardiovascular health. And, you know, as you get older, things change.

And a lot of times they don't change for the better as we age. You know, I'm 65 years old and I realize that I'm probably not as good as what I once was, but not bad anyhow. And, you know, if you have a massive accident like Pastor Greg, you really know how it is.

60 years old and coming back from all he did. So, uh, we're thankful to be here today, Pastor. I'm thankful to be with you, Tim. I'm thankful to be with you. Thankful to God. Thankful for my family.

Thankful for this opportunity to share with folks this, this good information, this really valuable information. Because even on days like today, when my blood pressure should probably be through the roof, honest to goodness. And I've, and I've been, I've been at the doctors when, because there's challenges. I mean, getting from the car and the pain and all of that and getting into the doctor's office, my blood pressure still sits between 118 and 132 on the high and, and between 68 and 82 on the low. And that that's, I'm told that's, that's, that's pretty good blood pressure.

Yes, it is. Because really what you're looking at is the blood pressure is measured with two numbers. The first number is called the systolic, which is a top number. And it measures the pressure between the arteries when your heart beats.

The second number is called the diastolic and it's a bottom number. And it measures the pressure between your arteries when your heart rests between beats. So, you know, I really suggest if you're checking your blood pressure, which I think is a good idea at home, that you use the same meter on a regular basis. And it's also a good idea when you have a doctor's visit to take your blood pressure meter to the doctor so they can kind of calibrate it with theirs or you calibrate yours with theirs to know exactly how far off they are. Because I know some of the blood pressure reads I would get at home or not near what I would get when I go to the doctor.

And you would think that, you know, they should be the same, but really it's different machines and so forth. So, you know, basically, again, the top number is a systolic and diastolic is a bottom number. And a normal blood pressure reading for adults, according to what I have found, is that most adults is defined as a systolic pressure of 120 and the diastolic pressure, which is the bottom number, over 80. So, you know, what do we do when the blood pressure rises? You know, with age, it's going to happen. And we know there's diet changes, you know, that can be done. We know that a lot of salt in the diet sometimes will harden the arteries and won't give them the elasticity they need.

And so it's a good idea to modify your diet maybe a little bit. Again, we don't give medical advice here. We ask you to consult your doctor, you know, for all these needs to monitor your blood pressure, that kind of thing. We're just talking about some different supplements that have got clinical data behind them that supports healthy blood pressure reading.

But we're not giving out medical advice. So, another thing is less stress. And we see Pastor Greg this morning, he's had a little bit of stress.

Well, we all have it and we know we do. And exercise is one way that you can kind of, you know, slow down some of that stress. That's an excellent way for me to get rid of my stress.

And I've seen Pastor Greg on the bicycles, you know, or the elliptical type that sit down, elliptical, working out, you know. And for me, that really works. And then there's the meds. You can take meds. And that'll lower your blood pressure.

We are talking about blood pressure today and the importance that last week we talked about diabetes and how you can use natureopathy to help you as you deal with this and just as a personal testimony and Tim was talking about me being on pain medications. We are working diligently on getting my diet changed on doing things because long term exposure to opioids, pain medications, any of these pharmaceuticals, there are risks that are associated with those medications.

There just are. Her cardiologist said that I would have the same thing. So that's fine. But I don't. My score on my test is zero. At 65 years old, I have zero plaque building up in my arteries. And the reason that is, is because of these products, I feel that I take on a real regular basis to keep the oxidative stress down and to keep that from happening. And part of my program is, of course, the vibe, the effort core, I do potassium, and another product we're going to talk about here and make it into it just a little bit now and then talk a little more after the break.
