Knowing God requires more than just acknowledging his existence, it demands a deep understanding of his character, which can only be achieved through quietness, humility, and surrender. The Bible teaches that God is sovereign, holy, and omnipotent, and to know him is to know life and truth. However, many people today are satisfied with a superficial knowledge of God, and it is a sin to name the name of God without truly knowing him. To know God, one must be willing to be still, quiet, and patient, and to observe and anticipate the evidence of God in their life.
