We are God's masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works that He prepared beforehand. Our salvation is a miraculous work of God, originating from Him and performed through Jesus Christ. It's a work of redeeming grace, saving us from sin and making us part of His church, which is a preliminary to the glorious ingathering of His church at Christ's return. As we live in time and space, everything around us is a product of common grace, but the new creation is a greater work, a masterpiece of God, where He takes fallen and corrupted humanity and raises them up through the provision of Christ, making them cleansed, pure, and holy.
