The Bible describes cities as habitats of sinners, with the largest cities being hotbeds of corruption. The story of Sodom and Gomorrah serves as a warning, with God's judgment bringing destruction upon the cities. Meanwhile, Abraham's faith and Lot's family's actions demonstrate the importance of obedience and faith in God's plan.

Good evening and welcome to another I think it's a very good idea. What's right, what's left? The voice of the Christian resistance on this third day of August 2025. Where has summer gone, folks? Is flying by And um Tonight My courageous and admiral co host is none other than Kenny Pyhoski.

Courageous, huh? Yeah. Good evening, Pastor. You're you're ready to go here. Who n who knows what we might be talking about.

And you might have people waiting for you outside the station tonight when you leave. Probably wouldn't be the first time. I go out the back door. All right, I hear you.

So the title of the message tonight was cities habitat of sinners. yet one city without sin or sinners. And um Here We're gonna start. By the way, speaking of cities, Do you know what the oldest city Here in America is The oldest city? Yeah.

Would it be Philadelphia. No, it's Saint Augustine. Saint Augustine.

Okay.

Okay, down that's Florida, right? Yeah, in Florida. I've been there. And so That's the only thing. I was thinking after we became a country, you know, I was thinking like closer to that.

But yeah, that was probably what, in the sixteen hundreds, fifteen hundreds? That was back when around fifteen sixty five they say originally the original charter. That was under the Spanish.

Well, actually, you know, Christopher Columbus was a part of that era down there. Anyhow, um We're gonna go take a look at another old, old city, an older city, much older city. fact his older city started somewhere between thirty five and thirty two hundred BC. And let's go to Genesis chapter 4, starting with verse 16. And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord.

and dwelt in the land of Nod on the east of Eden. and came knew his wife, and she conceived in Barry Nuck, And he built a city, and called the name of the city after the name of his son, Enoch. And unto Enoch was born Irad, and Irad begot Methuselah, a Hoojel and Mehuzel begot Methuselah, and Methuselah begot Lamech.

Now here When we take a look at this, the name Cain means acquisition. It means to acquire. things. And he was the first, the very first of a very, very long. Line Of the seeds of Satan.

You know, if you go in Genesis chapter 3, where he talks about the seed of the serpent. will be at war with the seed of the woman.

Okay.

And the seat of the woman, of course, was Christ and Christians, but the seat of The serpent well, with murderers Uh-huh. And so Cain was the first murderer. And so here. in a wee See this taking place, and of course, Lamech, you know, the name Enoch actually means dedication, one dedication.

So here there there it was the start of a kind of a new manner of life. Um departing from You think Kane might have learned something? when his banishment from God you certainly hope he would have. Mm-hmm. Lameck The Mac means townsmen.

Someone who lives in a town, a townsman. And so And here As we take a look at this Uh we see that today in America Most all of the large cities are hotbeds of corruption. I can't think of one large city that's not a hotbed of corruption. Among the most corrupt Is the largest city, New York. Along with L A?

Yeah. But Satan's corporate headquarters, Kenny, I believe, to be Washington DC. You see, DC used to mean District of Columbia, today it stands for District of Corruption. Yeah. Some years ago.

Do you remember that fellow that used to say And this is the rest of the story. Paul Harvey. Paul Harvey. Yeah, who was at the same time. Uh, I was I noticed that w we were talking about the same thing, Paul Harvey and I, on radio.

And um that was in DC. And here, you know, it was revealed that There were at that time This is years ago, too. I mean, this is more'n twenty years ago. There were ten thousand, ten thousand lawyers in DC. You think about that, ten thousand lawyers in one s in one city.

And every day There was an average of nineteen hundred daily cocktail parties. They referred to them as cocktail parties. We know that they were a little more than cocktail parties. They were doing drugs and everything else, right? Mm-hmm.

The prostitution rate For per capita in DC is higher than it was in Las Vegas, where it was legal. That's crazy. Yeah, and so and a horribly, horribly high rate of baby killing by abortion. Mm-hmm. possibly the most corrupt judicial courts in the USA in Washington DC.

So this is why, you know, pro lifers And all Christians, uh, You know, I've had a lot of my friends have to go to be arrested there 'cause they got some notorious abortion mills and we used to go after 'em. And boy, I'm going to tell you, you didn't stand a chance. The cops treated you. I mean, everything was weaponized against you. I mean,.

You were much worse than the bloody abortionist himself, and the cops were many on the payroll. And if you want to know what kind of chance to prolifer or Christian has in those courts, just take a look at the one thousand five hundred J Sixers. Yes, I was just going to say, I bet that compares pretty good.

So, for this reason, if by God's grace, and it looks like. It looks like there's actually going to be s some justice here. Obama, Hillary, Biden, Cole me Brennan, Clapper, Rice, Struct, and Sorrows, etcetera. Are really brought to justice. And this looks like this might happen.

I hope so. The DOJ would have to Move these trials out of DC. There's no way in the world they're gonna win. That that DC is so corrupt, DC. The j everybody's on the take, everybody's on the payroll.

Like flies that are drawn to the dead corpse, And maggots. Democrats are drawn to the large cities. starting with their mares, The judges, the prosecutors, Corruption reigneth paramount in the large cities.

So when the crime rate becomes so high in these cities that It starts to draw national and global attention. We simply change the law as to make certain crimes legal, no longer crimes, like allowing Democrats, for example, Looters in LA These are, you know, they look at these young people as future Democratic Party voters. Yeah, I mean, instead of actually arresting the criminals. They changed law, so it's not a crime, and it doesn't count as um towards their Records.

Well, what they did is they allowed them t and and and they let them know If you're going to loot. Uh, keep it under $1,000. As long as you keep it your what you steal under $1,000, there won't be any charges. You won't be prosecuted.

Some cases, especially when it was gang members, uh notorious gang members or Uh illegal aliens They didn't prosecute they didn't even bother to prosecute at all. Not at all. And That Camela Harris actually bailed him out and sent him back out to do some more.

So Taking a look back. at some of the Oldness cities accurately described in the Bible. Babylon was a city Uh In Mesopotamia. in the land of Scheinauer. And We're gonna go to Babylon.

You ready to go to Babylon? Let's do it.

Okay, let's go to Genesis 11. And in Genesis 11. We read Samuel verse 1. And the whole earth was of one. language and of one speech.

So here This is the same. Phonology. Meaning one set of one set of words. Mm-hmm. The whole world had one set of words And the same Um Language Um The same vocabulary.

Uh that was spoken. Before the flood. It might make things a little easier. Yeah. Yeah.

And so it was probably Hebrew, and the reason we say that was because. Uh this was taken here Well From Noah and Shem. Uh they were the primitive Records that were That were transmitted through through Noah and Shem. And so that's why I believe it was more likely it was The Hebrew. And so Here Sodom and Gomorrah were near the Jordan River in the land of Jordan.

on the east side of the Jordan River. According to many Bible scholars and archaeologists now, In Genesis 13:10, we read, you hear Lot standing insane. and he looked down upon the Jordan Valley. And and that's where to the cities that were there, Sodom and Gomorrah.

So there was five cities of the plains. And uh they All five of them have were probably just south of the northern tip of the Dead Sea. I was there. uh in that whole area there. And so We breed.

And it came to pass as they journeyed from the From the East that they found a plain in the land of Shanar, and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to Let us make block. are brickened and burned them thoroughly, And they had brick for stone and slime for the mortar. That word go to means to Uh uh give to give us, okay. And here what what what they were talking about was a name.

They wanted a name.

Okay.

And they said, Go to, let us build a a city and tower. whose top may reach into heaven, and let us make a name lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. Let me ask you a question. What was the very first command that God gave man? Uh to multiply?

Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the whole earth. His command was to go out. To spread out over the entire earth. And by the time you hit Genesis 9. He'd already said it three times.

And so here They're saying, well, we're going to do exactly the opposite of what God commanded us to do. Yeah. Okay.

That wasn't that wasn't smart 'cause when you do that it never ends well, right? And so Here What they were talking about, this tower, with this tower. Be to glorify God, or would it be to their own glory?

Now, the Bible says, Give God the glory. Because it belongs to him, huh? Absolutely.

So It seems like they're not doing much right, right? No. Not off to a good here. No, off to a very bad start. And the LORD came down to see the the city and the tower, with the children of men build it now.

Uh you had Nimrod here. Nimrod Was a mighty hunter in the sight of the Lord, but you know what he hunted? I don't know. Mend. He was a hunter of men.

And And Imrod wasn't he wasn't a nice guy at all. In fact, He wanted to build this tower. He planned on getting on the top of that tower and shooting an arrow. At God into heaven. What?

Yeah, I'll bet I'll bet it would never even reach God. No. They're not going to make it high enough. And even if by chance they did, there's no way you're shooting an arrow at God. Why?

Why? Well And the LORD said, Behold, The people is one and they have all one language. And this they begin to do, and nothing will be restrained from them which they have imagined to do. And so here Now, do you think God had to go down? Do you think God had to go down and see what they were dumped to?

No. I mean I mean the reason he decided to have an on-site inspection is because he already knew what they were up to, huh? Yep.

So he says, go to Well let us go down. And they're Confound their language that they may not understand one another's speech. And so what I do let me let me say this again. All right. Go to let us go down.

Okay.

Who is the us? Um Wouldn't that be Jesus and God.

Well, there's only four places in Scripture where you find the God had assembled together the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost all together there. And this is one of them right here.

Okay.

How do you know he's he's uh He's not He's not speaking to the angels. How do I know he's not speaking to the angels? Yeah. Well, it's because he said, let us go down and confound there. This is, remember.

What you have, God the Father gives the marching orders. God the power of the angels wouldn't have the power to do that. Right, okay. And so God the Father's calling the shots here. And so The Lord scattered them abroad, and From thence upon the face of all the earth, and he left off to build the city.

Therefore, the name of the name of the name of the n of it was called Babel, Because the Lord did their con confound them. Why would though? What was the point of confounding their language?

So they couldn't understand each other, kind of slow down their ambitions, maybe? Uh Have you ever been someplace? I remember as a young man in the service. We were involved in training troops, many of foreign troops. And Here Uh most uh guys knew some or could understand a little bit of English, okay, but You know, we could not understand.

There were these were types, like special forces types, like Turkish and. You had South Hibanese and com uh Rangers and commandos and But Uh I remember recalling one time being just myself and maybe a couple other guys.

soldiers, American US. When We would be standing and all of a sudden we would see a large group of these other guys.

Now, you know, when you're You're you're young and there and we were all young soldiers there. And what is it that young soldiers want to do, especially when they get a little bit of ignorant oiling? They like to f they like to fight. Yeah, and so And I remember being outnumbered probably, I don't know, two hundred to one, whatever. And seeing uh You know, I mean, you know, they they weren't there to fight us, but but Satan looking at us And laughing, and even though I couldn't understand what they were saying, I could understand their looks, what their the looks that they were giving one another.

And that told me this is not a good place right now. uh because uh these guys don't have good intentions and That ignorant oil isn't helping things. Mm-hmm. What happens is when people don't understand each other, they don't trust each other. They don't trust what they don't understand, do they?

No. And so Anyhow I want to go now. Over to Genesis chapter 19. And in Genesis chapter nineteen. Here We're going to start in verse 1.

Now in the previous chapter Chapter eighteen. Um The Lord had had made something very clear. When he was speaking to uh Abraham. And here He says this For I know him that he Uh Will commend his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the ways of the LORD, to do justice, judgment. And the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, And because their sin is very grievous, their sin is very grievous. I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it. which is come unto me And if not, I will know. And the men turned their faces from thence and went towards Sodom. and stood there before the Lord.

And Abraham drew nigh, and said, Wilt thou destroy the righteous with the wicked? And so remember what how it went from there, how He uh A Abraham started with the trying to to Big lower down from 50 down to 10. And now you had a population of a million people in that city. And you would have thought they might have been able to find ten righteous men. You would think.

Yeah. What do you th do you think you could do that in Washington DC? Ten? You might be lucky to find five.

Well, anyhow. And so going back to verse 19, or chapter 19, verse 1. And there came two angels to Sodom, at evening, and Lot set in the gate of Sodom, And Lot seeing them rose up to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground.

Now, What is the significance? of Lot sitting in the gates of the city. Lot sitting in the gates of the city. Um would that be kind of like blocking the way. No.

See, the gates of the city is where all the legal transactions, um the public proclamations and businesses. Right. And well, it wasn't the town square, it was the gates of the entrance of the city, whenever that's where everything took part, the big gates.

Now, Here we go. He that sat in the gate was usually the mare. And so Lot was there setting the gates. That means he was there as someone who of authority. He had authority.

And he said, Now when he said these two come, Do you think he recognized that he might have known that they might be angels? Yeah, he probably did.

Well Why would you say that?

Well, I I I think it would probably be obvious to anyone who might know. Yeah. they I mean they might not You don't think they'd have name tags, right? No, no, but they probably wouldn't. Look like like your average person.

Yeah. Now remember Uh his uncle Abraham. And recently uh entertained the Lord Jesus himself and two angels. and those folks were in communication, so he knew Uh and and Abraham probably told him Uh, you know what? You maybe he oughta you oughta leave out of there.

Maybe it might be a good idea to get out of there.

Okay.

So Here they came, and he bows himself down. And then in the Middle East, that way, Um You are nobody. You know, when visitors came, hospitality was very important. By the way, I I looked you this up on AI, and do you know what AI says? Uh took place there, first of all.

They said that the reason they first of all they said that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by what believe they believed to be a meteorite. Hit that.

Well, that's not exactly what God's word, the Bible says, right? I was going to say, unless it was God that threw the meteor, right? No, he f he brought down fire and brimstone uh out of heaven.

Okay.

Well, you know what? Maybe that that possibly could have you know, when a meteorite hits they're they're usually on fire. Yeah. I mean, it it could have been. That's could have been how what he used.

And it destroyed all the the uh cities of the plain. There were five cities in the plains there, you know. And so here But they said, but here's the reason. They said, AI says that. Let's They were destroyed.

They said they were destroyed. because they filled to show hospitality.

Well that's not accurate.

Well, they actually did fail to to to Um Show hospitality, but that wasn't the grievous sin that God said. That God was talking about. He said the sin was most grievous, and it was the sin of LGBTQ. Yeah. And so And he said, Behold now My lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servants' house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and you shall rise up early and go on your ways, And they said, No, nay, but we will Abide here in the street all night.

Do you think they knew that that uh Lot was going to invite him into his house. Yeah, most likely. And he pressed upon them greatly, and they turned in unto him and entered into the house, And he made them a feast, and they did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat. But before they lay down, now listen to this, listen to this verse, okay? because it really has implications.

I mean, this is like San Francisco style stuff here, okay? But before they lay down The men of the city, even the men of Sodom, Do you understand what he's saying there? Mm-hmm. Talk about all the men. Yeah.

All the men. compassed the house around about, both old and young. Oh The people from every quarter. And this is Like I said, this this this might even have been worse than San than San Francisco. Sure.

And they called unto Lot, and said, Unto him. Where are the men which came in to thee this night, bring them out unto us that we may know them. And um you don't think they just wanted to make their acquaintance, do you? Oh, yeah, they just wanted to meet 'em. Yeah.

So we may know them, Mint, right? Getting to know you. No, I don't think so. No. And And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him.

and said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly Behold, now I have two daughters.

Now, you see, Lot has. had a number of daughters, and two of em were virgins, and the others were married. I have two daughters which have not known men. Let me, I pray, You bring them out into And you can do To them, as it is good in your eyes, only unto these men Do nothing, for therefore Came they under the shadow of my roof.

Now listen. If You and I had daughters. And they wanted our daughters, they'd have to go through us to get them, wouldn't they? Absolutely.

Okay.

And So what in the world do you think? What in the world do you think? Uh would ever caused Lot to offer up his virgin daughters. Uh because he probably knew who the two men were. and knew what would befall the city, had These guys Got to know them.

Well Uh here The daughters You know, these guys were sodomites, so they probably people may have thought, well, they'd have no real interest in his daughters, right? Yeah, maybe, yeah. Um. And so But we know different stories in the Bible where they where the sodomites really. were horrendous uh to women.

Also Um But in that time Of course, you know, just by Oh. Yeah, You know, they Physical nature Here it would have been you know, women are were built to have sex even if with the sodomites, okay? Where Uh these men weren't. And you've seen, like, I know that in the prisons, I was in a prison for many years ministering inside the prisons and when a lot of sodomy took place. And boy, I'm gonna tell you, it ruined some people, especially these young boys.

It's You know, that's uh that's what our prison systems are r really, really corrupt. Mhm. But here, in fact, You know, to show you how this was, I remembered how upside down, inside out, and backwards. the system being run by Democrats was it? If uh of a m men got caught Uh in masturbation, they went to the hole.

But if they were caught having sodomite sex They didn't go to the hole. They they kinda just look the other way. And that and that and that was the case in many of the prisons, and that's what they were told to do.

Okay, what the guards were told. And so here now Again, it it's upside down, inside out and backwards. Mm-hmm. Trying to turn the pages and the these pages are so thin. Uh and so The net and And they said, Stand back.

And they said again, This one fellow came into Sojourn and he will needs be a judge?

Now we will deal worse with thee than with them. and they pressed sore upon the men, Even Lot, and they came near to break the door. In other words, they were saying to Lot. All of a sudden, you come here, the next thing you know, you're a boss. out there in charge telling us what to do.

And Where does that come from? We're going to deal with you worse than we are going to deal with these other two men. But the men put forth their hands and pulled Lot into the house to them. and shut the door. And they smote all the men that are were at the door of the house with blindness.

both small and great, so that they wearied themselves trying to find a door.

Now can you imagine this? Look. What would happen? What would you do? If you suddenly Found yourself blind.

You were in a situation like, say, right now where you're at there. All of a sudden your sight's gone, you can't see anything. What what would you do? Um probably start freaking out.

Well, that you would do that for maybe a couple of minutes, you know.

Well But then you would say, well, listen, you know, I've got to get control of this situation here, right?

So. I I have got to uh Find a safe place.

Okay.

Because If I can't see, I can't go wandering around about out there if I can't see where I'm going, right? Or what I'm walking into. Especially sudden blindness, you're not used to it at all. Like there's Well, there's a a few places in the Bible where Uh God God brought blindness upon people. Uh, in judgment.

Remember the fellow named Apostle Paul? Mhm. He was on the road to Damascus when All of a sudden he saw the light. And then he didn't see anything. Yep.

Okay, God struck him with blindness. And remember Elijah. When The Yeah, yeah. King of Israel When his enemies The rival king kept setting traps. Yeah.

uh the king of Israel ambushes and He would always know exactly when they were going to be.

So The opposition king called his king. cabinet together and they said, All right, which one of you in here is is tipping off. Which one of you are ratting me out to the king of Israel? It is his wise men said to Amirs, It's it's not in any of us. It's it's Elijah.

He says he knows what you're saying in your bedroom. He's a prophet of God. And he knows what what is being said in your bedroom. And whatever Whenever we have a plan and discuss it, he. uh tells the king of Israel.

So the king said, Okay, listen, you gather together an army and go get him. I want him here. See?

So they gathered together an army. and they went to get him. And they surrounded Elijah, his army. and larger services. Oh, he he wa he wa he panicked.

He said, Don't you see what's out there? And ledge the icy. He said, Don't you see we're surrounded? And he said, Lord, open this boy's eyes.

So he opened his eyes, and you know what he saw? The foreign army was surrounded by. Chariots of fire, angels. A lot of 'em. But Elijah goes out, and do you know what he does?

He he cast them all to blindness. He makes some blood. And uh Then you know what he did? He said, Hey, fellas, I'll tell you what, to follow me, just follow my voice and I'll take you home. They really didn't have much of a choice, did they?

No, not at all.

So they followed him, and he And do you know where he took him? He took him back to Israel, right? Mm-hmm. And So when the king of Israel sees that Here's his rival army. blind.

Okay.

What do you think he did? Uh he probably wasn't too happy. Oh, he said, Let me let me kill him He said, Let me kill them all. And Elijah said, No, here's what you're going to do. He said, You're going to first feed him, give them food, give them water.

and give em rest. and then take him home. And The king of Israel didn't want to do that. But he said that's what God says, okay?

So the king of Israel did not want to disappoint God, did he? No. It's not it never ends well when you do that, does it? No, it doesn't. And so So here now We go on and we picked it up.

Uh, where do we leave off here? We're in Genesis 19, verse 12. Verse 12. For we will destroy this place, because the city of the cry of them is waxing great before the the face of the Lord, and the Lord has sent us to destroy it. And Lot went out and spake unto his Sons in laws.

which married his daughters, and said up Get you out of this place for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his son in laws. They didn't believe him. What do you mean? Who who's gonna destroy this city?

A million people. Who's gonna destroy this city, right? And when the morning arose, Then the angels hastened to Lot, saying, Arise. Take the wife and the two daughters which are Here lest they be consumed in the iniquity of this city. And while he lingered the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hands of his wife, and upon the hands of his two daughters, And the Lord being merciful Unto him and they brought him forth, And set him without the city.

And it came to pass that when he had brought him forth of abroad that he said, Escape for thy life Look not behind thee, neither stay thou in this plain, escape to the mountains, lest thou be consumed. And Lot said unto them, Oh, now, can you believe this? You know. He had just seen What? The angels did were the Sodomites.

the LGBTQ of that date. Mm-hmm. He just heard That they were going to destroy the city, destroy it. He just got done telling his sons-in-laws too. Right.

And now he's he's hesitant, he's not Th he he's resisting the angels, okay. Um, because he doesn't want to go to the mountains. Behold now thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnifying thy mercy which thou hast shown unto me, and saving my life and I cannot escape to the to the mountain lest Some evil take me and I die. Why do you think he was so afraid of going to the mountains? Um, probably because he's used to his comfortable life in the city.

Well, yeah, you see out there In the mountains there were a lot of things, like highwaymen and and Um whoever lived up in those mountains and Now Lot's no kid, he's an old man. And an old man, you know, he he's probably having you know, not a real good time even getting around real good. But now he's got the the life of his wife and his two daughters in his hands to protect them. And so the city offered some protection. At least in the city, there was a lot of people around, you would have some protection.

But he felt out there in the mountains He would be you know vulnerable. Yeah, but uh let me ask you here. Here's If God was to spare me and take me out of s of Sodom. I would know that, look, he's he's already spared me. He's not going to send me up to the mountain to die, is he?

No, he's not going to lead you out of a city that is doomed. I into more doom. What would be the point of that? Yeah. And so here As we pick it up.

Now behold now the city is near to flee unto It's a little one. Oh, let me escape hither It's just a little one. And my soul shall live.

Now what do you think the Uh the emphasis why he kept saying it's just a little one. Um Maybe use Trying to say, Hey, it's not it's not that big, you know, maybe Maybe uh different city would be a better example to set?

Well here it is. note even today in Am America The larger the city, the the greater the corruption, isn't it? Yeah. Absolutely.

I mean You have corruption and but you don't have that kind of corruption Um in small cities as you have in the larger cities. No, you probably got corruption in Cleveland, but i it's not nearly as corrupt as, say, New York City. No. In fact, New York City is referred to as Babylon. around the world.

Yeah, I know. And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I. will not overthrow this city for Thou hast spoken. Haste thee, escape thither, for I can not do anything Until thou be Come hither, therefore The name of the city was called Zor.

Now These angels were under orders, right? Mm-hmm. And if if you're going to disappoint anyone, you don't want it to be your Lord, right? No, not at all.

And so and then the sun was risen upon the earth, And Lot entered into Zor.

Now they guess what? The word travels very fast there, and the people of Zor just watched Sodom and Gomorrah go up in flames, And here, guess who's coming?

Well, isn't that Lot, the former mayor, over there? We don't really want you here a lot, right? Then the LORD reigned upon Sodom and Gomorrah, Um brimstone and fire from from the Lord out of heaven. And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. But his wife looked back behind him, And she became a pillar of salt.

Do you know in that area there in the Valley of Jordan? There is a pillar of salt today, and they actually got a plaque out there. Out out in the in the middle of no place there's this pillar of salt. And if uh if I remember right, it's about thirty inches high or so, maybe even a little more. And today they they claim that that's Lot's wife.

And his wife looked back from behind, and she became a pillar of salt. And Abraham get up early. in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord. And the LORD looked towards Sodom. and good morrow.

and toward all the land of the plain and beheld, and lo, The smoke of the The country went up. at the smoke of the furnace. And it came to pass when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow when He overthrew the cities that in the which lot dwelt. Remember how Abraham kept trying to get God to spare those in the city. And lot went up Out of Zor and dwelt in the mountains.

Do you know? Do you know that That Uh there's so many places in the scripture where you have types and shadows. Types and shadows. And this was like a shadow or a type of of of the rapture. How do you think that would be?

That he would go take his daughters up into the mountain would be a type of the rapture. 'Cause he was being spared. He was being taken out of the situation before It got destroyed.

Okay, if we take a look at the flood, the flood was the type of the rapture. Mm-hmm. The ark was a type of Christ. The eight were were found their salvation in the ark. The ark was taken up by the waters over.

to the t tops of the highest mountains, which was the first heaven. And while that was taking place, what took place down on earth? You know, it was getting flooded. God's judgment. Yeah.

And if you go look at the parting of the Red Sea. God parted the Red Sea. He took Israel down into the the sea. He took them up. up out of the sea up to the high mountain.

And then While Israel was up high into the mountain taken up. Then down below what was taking place with Pharaoh's army. Uh they were being crushed by the sea. That's judgment. Yes.

So now here Lot and his two daughters They're taken up high into the mountain And they turn around and look back and what's taking place down below. God's judgment. Yeah, they're watching everything burn, huh? Mm-hmm. And so Lot went up on a Zor.

and dwelt in a mountain, and his two daughters, With him For he feared to dwell in Zor, and he dwelt in a cave. Yeah, I I could see why he feared he was on fire, right? and he and his two daughters. And the firstborn said unto him, and to the to the youngest, Our father is old, And there is not a a man in the earth to come unto us after the manner of all the earth. Come, let us make our father drink, wine, and we will lie with him.

that we may Now preserve the seed of our father. And so now Uh now, would you call that incest? Yeah. No, because there was no incest yet. We we didn't it didn't become incest until Leviticus when they give the law to the high priest.

So it wasn't, in fact, Uh you know, starting with with, um, The children of Adam and Eve Their sons and daughters married each other. And they, you know, reproduced.

So there was no incest. There was a very pure, very pure bloodline. they would be computer to us today is is extremely superior. Uh to us. But now why then If there was no incest, Why do you think that um These two girls wantin' to get their dad drunk.

Before they would sleep with him. Because he probably wouldn't have done it. That's right, because even though there was no incest, what was required? Marriage, marriage. And uh You don't think he was about to marry his two daughters, huh?

No. No, I don't think so either. And so here they knew this. And so why do you think these girls decided to do that, okay? What would have what would have made them Why not get their own father drunk and sleep with him?

Um Well, they just watched All the other cities get destroyed, and they lived in a cave, probably knew of no other men. That's right, that was their whole world. They looked out, you know. Um, they didn't have any Ubers back then. No dating sites?

Right. And so what happened is is, you know, I remember one time talking to some Homish people some years ago that not only had never been out of the state, never been out of the county. Of course these were young young kids. and the teenage type. But um Here, this was their whole world.

The five cities of the plain, that was that was to them the world there, okay? And now their world just went up in flames. And so now They figure well. We have to raise up seed by our Father or Then his name You know, what was the culture of the East of that time, Two things. Uh if a woman Uh if if she could not get pregnant And have a child, she was considered to be cursed by God.

Her womb was closed, okay? For the man, if he had no sons, Then that was considered to be a curse of God, okay? And so these two decided they weren't going to let that happen to their father. They were going to raise up seed by him. Uh do you think they'd ever even heard the word Uh incest?

No, apparently not. No, uh And so They went on and they said, And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old. And there is not a man in the earth to come into after the manner of the earth. Come, let us make our father drink. Wine.

and we will lie with him, that we may pre observed the seed of our father. And they made their father drink wine, That night and the firstborn went in, and leave with her father, and he perceived not When she lay down not when she rose.

So I don't know, to me it kinda seems A little a little hard uh to imagine, but you know, of course. If it's written here, it's true. Yeah. It seems to me strong wine. Yeah.

It had to be well they did have some. Uh, it had to be some awful strong wine. Um you know, but You know, usually Hmm. that type of heavy duty alcohol will render a man not able sexually, you know? And so A pub.

You you may know more about that than me. Yeah. Yeah. Okay.

Yeah. And they made their father drink wine that night, and the firstborn went in and lay with the father and perceived. Not what lay Then she lay down, nor wouldn't they heroes. And it came to pass on the morrow That the firstborn said unto the younger. Behold, I lay yesternight with thy father.

Let us make him drunk wine this night also. And go thou in and lie with them, that they may preserve the seed of our Father. Remember, In those days, the genes and the bloodlines were much stronger, okay. Their fertility was much greater than it is today. I mean, they had a lot of kids.

And they made their father drink wine that night also, and the younger arose and lay with him, And he perceived not when uh they lay down Norwyn Where do you think they got the wine? Way up there in the mountains. I don't know. Thus both both were both the daughters of Lot. with child by their father.

And the firstborn bear a son called his name Mob, And the same is of the fathers of the Moabites unto this day. Oh, boy, the Moabites were They were not a good people, were they? Mm. And the younger she also bare a son, and called his name Benammi, the same as the father of the children of Ammon, unto this day. Ah, well, now I know We're running out of time, but there's one I I'm not going to be able to finish this message tonight.

But there's just one city One city With no sin. And no centers. Turn to Revelation chapter 21. In Revelation chapter 21. We read.

Maybe I g I can get just a couple of minutes minutes. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth And the first heaven and the first earth were passed away, And there was no more sea.

Now here The first two chapters of the Bible in Genesis, the very first to describe. uh the first heaven and the first earth. The last two chapters here Uh in the Bible uh described the new heaven and the new earth.

Now when he says here And there was No more sea. You know, two-thirds of this planet is covered with water. Do you know that? That's what they say, yeah. Yeah.

Now can you picture the planet first of all Do you think that God totally destroyed the earth?

Well knock that. Totally destroyed, but uh The known earth, uh all the living Well, Peter says it's gonna go the heavens are gonna melt it's gonna c it's gonna get burned off. It's gonna be It's going to be cleaned up, okay, purified. The the whole planet will be purified and then Uh restored. And when it's restored, there'll be no S no oceans, no sea.

So how do you think? that because there's gonna be a lot of vegetation How do you think that, uh Mm. They're gonna get the water. Where's the water gonna come from? Probably straight from heaven.

No, it comes right out from the throne. Of the Lord Jesus in the New Jerusalem, right off from under his throne, and it goes out. and it goes out until water the entire earth. And in this next verse here He says And I, John, Saw the holy city Do you know what's remarkable about that? Here We're all the way into out of 22 past.

Chapters were in The second to the last Chapter And for the first time John uh uses his own name. Oh. For the first time John reveals who he is. For the first time, he has identified himself here.

Okay.

We're out of time, so I gotta do what we have to do, and that's what You know, every word that proceeded forth from the mouth of God is absolute truth. It's an amazing thing, some of the what is out there today, this whole society. uh what they're teaching everything from the teaching of evolution Uh and and even if you go into AI and this, they're saying things like And of course, the apostates did this a long time ago. Like, for example, the book of Daniel, that Daniel uh was like a folk character. He was not not for real.

And the same thing that's what they said about Nimrod. Nimrod was uh was not actually a person, okay? And so but anyhow, folks, the Word of God is for real. Here's what the Word of God says. But and very short.

That everybody that's alive someday will die. Millions of people, millions of people have been born and they've died. And when that happens when that happens They're either saved or unsaved. And when that happens, you will end up very quickly Because people are eternal beings. You have a body, soul, and a spirit.

Your body goes back to the earth, but your soul and your spirit go to be if you're saved. They go to be with the Lord. If not, if you're not saved Things don't end so well. You go to each. You go to eternity of torment, don't you?

And so here the moral to the story is Repent? And Pray to the Father. Ask for forgiveness of your sins. Call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. to be the Lord of your life all of your life.

Without any reservations at all. And if you'll do that, God will honor you. You will become a new creature, you will become a born-again believer, you will become an heir of the kingdom. And you will be On the road to eternity And it don't get any better than that. The alternative is not good.

We're out of time for tonight.

So. Let us just say Good night. Good night. God bless. God bless.

And then we always say, Always, always, always. Keep. Fighting the fight. Bye. Fight, fight, fight.
