Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk. A daily program powered by the Truth Network. This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you why. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together.

Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. In the rearview mirror. In other words, not many days left. And so as you think about, you know, what happened this year? You know, a real fun exercise for me every year is to just go back and look at my pictures, like in my phone now that we take so many, and think, man, God has blessed me here, and he's blessed me there, and I got to do this, and I got to do that. I would love to hear what God did for you in 2024. Something that maybe surprised you, you'd forgotten about, you looked it in your phone, you go, oh yeah, I went here, or oh yeah, I got together with this old friend, or oh yeah, 866-348-7884.

Again, God does some amazing things, and a lot of times they're just totally unexpected. Like, you know, some of the things that obviously stick out to me was not unexpected, that my daughter was pregnant for nine months before, you know, I got my latest grandchild, and then, you know, she was actually six months old this Christmas. And we got to spend a great deal of time with her, actually at church Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and, you know, just her looking at me makes me melt. I mean, you know, how cool is that? I have a new grandchild, and I love children, so, you know, we'll be singing a lot of songs, and it won't be long, and we're going to be singing every Christmas song you can think of.

I taught my other granddaughter, Lila, you know, how to sing the entire On the Good Ship Lollipop by Shirley Temple, and we used to sing that in the car everywhere. You know, those things are how much fun. But I know that something happened for you. Unexpected maybe? 2024, what happened that God, it just took your breath?

866-348-7884, 866-348-7884. Or maybe it wasn't something that wasn't so good, but God came through for it in you, through you. Somehow or another, you felt him in a way you hadn't felt him before. A God hug, I call them, that sometimes when you go through something really, really difficult, that you feel something you never felt before. And that in itself is like the God of all comfort.

He comforts us that we might comfort others with the comfort he comforts with. So 866-348-7884 is the number to call in and share. I would love to hear yours. You know, one of mine happened, as I was thinking about it. You know, I was actually having lunch after Pastor Carson came and spoke at our church in West Ashboro. And we bought his lunch, like you might do, and we were just sitting there eating, and this lady fell out, right at the table right next to us. And next thing I know, she was on the floor, and her granddaughter was just, you know, grandma, grandma!

And she was, you know, literally freaking out because it didn't look like she was breathing, she was turning purple, all that stuff. And it looked really scary, and I immediately felt the Holy Spirit say, you know, Robbie, you need to get down there and pray. And so as I got down there, actually another member of our church was there, Amber, who happened to be the waitress for the lady. And I said, is it okay if I pray?

And she said yes. So I said a very quick prayer. And just the first thing that came to my mind is, you know, Lord, please help this poor woman.

You know, we can see that there's so much going on here. Lord, she needs your help, please come for us right now. And it was about that simple, maybe, it was simple. And boom, she sits up, and she's like, by this time the ambulance is coming and all this stuff, but she seems like she's doing pretty good.

And by the time the ambulance gets there, they take her outside, but she returns in and finishes her lunch. And, you know, it was just one of those things. You happen to be at that moment, and you happen to be obedient to God. You know, I know you've got a story like that.

866-348-7884. Think of the people you might encourage to think about their own 2024. Like, you know, one of the things that I think is really fun is just to think back and praise God for things that… you know he was involved in every breath you took, you know he was involved in that friendship that maybe had been on the rocks, and all of a sudden something happened that brought you back together. You know, that's happened for me several times over the years, and it's just so meaningful to happen. Another thing that happened to me in 2024 that I just rejoice about is I'm waiting for your calls at 866-348-7884.

It was my oldest son, Leslie. He lives in Florida, and we don't talk near as much as I wish we did. And, you know, I'd sent him Bibles years ago, and we talked about those kind of things, but one night here, you know, a couple months ago, he got, like Dad said, what I want for Christmas this year, I really want a Bible, and I really want to talk to my girlfriend about God. And all these things happened, and I thought, man, you know, thank you, Lord. Think how many prayers he answers along those lines, you know, that you just didn't see coming. And, you know, it's a wonderful opportunity that you have, really, if you think about it, that you've got a radio station here in Winston-Salem that is broadcasting across the country that is giving you an opportunity to testify, well God, this is what God did.

And then there's all sorts of people that would be listening that could hear your story. You know, maybe it was, you know, a relative that was really, really sick in the hospital that you, man, you did not see that God could possibly come in and heal in this situation. You know, we had a lady in our church that her liver was failing, and we really thought that it was, you know, not going to work out well for her, but then, you know, I can tell you that she was there for our Christmas service. Oh, amazing, you know, like, God, you did it again. We would love to hear.

2024 in the rearview mirror, 866-348-7884, 866-348-7884. You know, one of the things God put on my heart at our church at West Ashboro at the beginning of the year was, you know, really, we need to do, we need to, it would be good to see God baptize some people. You know, that would be a wonderful thing. And so actually, I asked several pastors what would be the first step if you're really trying to baptize more people at your church, being as ignorant as I am. And I don't remember if it was James Banks or Dr. Carson, but one of them said, well, Robbie, the first thing you got to do is just put down on your calendar that you're having a baptismal service, you know, that people can be baptized.

And we preached on that, and I'll tell the rest of that story, but I want to hear yours. I really, really do. You got plenty of time to call in during the break. 866-348-7884, 866-348-7884. We'll be right back with a whole lot more. I hope your call. 866-342. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live.

And today we're talking about 2024 in the rearview mirror. How fun is that? What did God bless you with? We would love to hear your story. We would love for you to call in and share it at 866-348-7884. We got John is in Bolton, South Carolina. John, you're on Truth Talk Live. How are you doing today?

I'm excited. I don't know that I've ever talked to anybody in Bolton, South Carolina. It's Belton. That's why I've never talked—it's Belton. Okay. Oh, well, you know, there you go.

I just didn't know it. So, Belton, South Carolina. Honestly, I haven't talked to anybody there either. So, where is Belton? It's near Anderson. Oh, okay. Right. So you're listening out of Greenville, probably, I would guess, right? Yeah. Wonderful.

I so appreciate your call. I would love to hear your story. Understand it's about a son-in-law? Yeah, my son-in-law—my kids live down in the Tampa Bay area, and my son-in-law is a very faithful man and was on his way to Tampa to a Bible study, and he was the first vehicle at a red light, and he was going to make a left-hand turn. The light turned green, and he stepped on the accelerator of his truck, and it wouldn't move. And he tried it again, and it wouldn't move.

And just about that time when he was getting a little frustrated, a car had run the red light at a very high rate of speed, and he pressed on the accelerator, and it went on through the intersection. Wow. If that wasn't God, I mean, there's nothing wrong with his truck. Right, right. Yeah, yeah. Wouldn't you love to— Well, I guess, you know, I'm one of those people that I'm hoping that heaven has instant replay. Yeah, right? So we can see, man, were there angels holding the accelerator back, or exactly how did that work? But you know it's true.

Yeah. I mean, no sooner did he get to where he was going, he called his wife, my daughter, and just—he was just blown away by it. I mean, it clearly was an act of God, there's no doubt in anybody's mind. And he shared with me on a visit, I was down there two weeks ago, and we were just chewing the fat a little bit, talking about things, and he said, you're not going to believe this.

And that's what happened to him. Yeah, and how cool is it that God picked him to be your son-in-law, and that he would recognize it? You know, how many people have stuff like that go on, and they don't give credit where credit's due, right?

It's very true. I've been guilty of that throughout my life here and there, but I've come to the realization of just how many times God has intervened. Yeah, I am so grateful. And I'm grateful for that. Yeah, me too.

I'm really, really grateful for your call, and the encouragement that is to us all to pay attention. Like, man, something as simple as sitting at a street light. But it could have changed everybody's life, right? Absolutely.

The guy who ran the light is certainly your son-in-law and his whole family. It's amazing. But, you know, God is in control. Thank goodness. Well, thank you, John. You're welcome, and keep up the good work.

You too, sir. God bless. That is amazing. We are so grateful for John's call. We need yours, 866-348-7884, 866-34-TRUTH. I know you got a story, and I'll bet you John's encouraged you. I know it encouraged me.

And so you call with that, 866-348-7884. You know, it's amazing to me how you end up in different places at different times. And I was talking about that we had set this baptism service set up in January, thinking we were going to do some baptisms. And actually, it turned into a big, not unlike the situation at the stoplight, that there were several huge misunderstandings about whether or not we could baptize people the way that they wanted to be baptized, because our baptismal was leaking. And some people showed up to get baptized. We didn't even know it, and they got their feelings hurt.

And it really looked like a giant catastrophe. But, like, God had the brakes on for another reason, because when he decided to open the floodgates, which he did in April, at one baptismal service in April, we baptized seven people that particular day. And it was just like we all prayed, and then God just—he was like, no, not in January.

We're going to wait until April. And we started out in the river. We baptized several people there, and then we ended up baptizing several in the baptismal at the station. And so, you know, it's an amazing thing how God's timing is his timing, and it works out for us exactly when he wants it to. So we need your story, 866-348-7884, 866-344-TRUTH. You know, as I was listening to Jon's story, I couldn't help but remember Mike Zwick, who used to have his own radio show here. He's a good friend of mine. But he has a similar story that he was driving along, and all of a sudden he heard God say, put on your seat belt, and he was obedient. He put on his seat belt, and within about 30 seconds, I forget exactly the circumstances, that he ended up slamming into a tree. And had he not had his seat belt on, you know, it would have been a different story. I've never been able to tell you this story. Maybe you've got a story like that.

We would love to hear it, 866-348-7884. My word for 2024 was, you know, I'd ask for words every year. And so, you know, I was coming into 2024 in December and November of 2023, the word he gave me was vision. So I wasn't anticipating that he was going to give me a vision for, you know, maybe what my next few years would be or some all sorts of things when he gave me this word vision. And so I studied the word vision. I was looking forward to my vision in all sorts of different ways, and I found myself very quickly in 2024 to be the interim pastor at our church in West Ashboro. And I also found myself hosting this show a lot more than I've hosted a weekday show, because normally, you know, I do the Christian Car Guys show, Kingdom Pursuits, all in the weekend. So I thought, oh, God, well, you're giving me a new vision for what the next few years were. And I kept praying along those lines and asking God, you know, what does that mean? And I studied the word vision. I did this and that. I went to a man camp in October.

And at the man camp, I saw several videos by David Busby, who was an amazing pastor back in the 90s, and who later went to be with the Lord. But nonetheless, the whole series was called Taste and See. And about the third or fourth one of them I watched, all of a sudden, light just clicked. Like, if I wanted to see, if I want a vision, I got a taste. And so immediately, as I began to think about all the ways I tasted God in 2024, that had given me a new vision. Like, you taste God as an interim pastor, as a pastor in ways that you never had before. You receive prayers that you never received before. You receive messages about people and things that you never… In other words, you're tasting God all the time, and through that, you get to see.

And it's the same thing, actually, on the radio. Like, right now, I'm tasting God when I hear John's story, and I would love to taste him when I hear yours, when we come back. But you've got to call us, 866-348-7884.

866-344-TRUTH. I would so love to hear it. And we come back, we're going to hear Nick's story, because he's been there the whole time. And I know he's got something, he's going to let us have it when he comes back.

Stay tuned. Truth Talk Live! You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live! Today's show, we're talking about 2024 in the rearview mirror. How has God blessed you?

Maybe it wasn't a surprise you knew it was coming this year, or maybe it was a surprise you didn't see that coming. Whatever it looked like, what was it for you? 866, the number to call in and share your blessing.

866-348-7884. In other words, we start to plan, what are we going to do in 2025? It's always a good thing to, you know, kind of see where you're at.

On the GPS, you've got to triangulate, position, go, okay, you know, where am I at? Where has God got me? And what did he do to get me here? And maybe we're in the desert and we're getting thirsty.

Maybe that's an indication we need him more. I don't know. How about you? What is your story?

866-348-7884. So we promised. Nick, for you, what was the big event? And I know you had a big one. Yeah, my favorite one was when I went to Colombia this year. And, you know, Colombia, that was the best trip that I ever went to. I didn't go to South Carolina, Colombia. I went to South America, Colombia. When I told people I was going to Colombia, they were like, what's in South Carolina?

It's South America. But, yeah, out of time there. We need to find out more about that.

But we got a call coming in, so we're going to take that. And I got to tell you, you know, the trips that we get to take are amazing. And one of the things that happened that I'm really looking forward to is due to some friends at the station, I want a trip to Spain coming up next year. And so I'm, you know, he got to go to Colombia in 2024. I get to go to Spain in 2025. I'm looking forward to that and seeing what that's going to be like. You know, maybe God surprised you with a vacation to somewhere like, wow, I never thought I'd get to go here. And what was that like?

I had several people that went to Iceland and shared what that was about. That was absolutely amazing. We got Kathy is in Ohio. So, Kathy, you're on Truth Talk Live. Hello. Hi, Kathy. I'm so glad you called. What have you got for us?

Well, I have God answered prayer. My grandson, which is 21 years old, back in October, he was drinking and him and his mother got into it. She's trying game not to go out and get this car. And he wanted to. So he took off in it and he went about 30 miles and here he was pretty drunk and he hit a telephone pole going like 90 miles an hour. And but God spared him. He wasn't even hurt. He walked out of it and they said it told this car.

They said that if it had been two inches over, he would have hit head on and killed him. Wow. So God answered prayer. Yeah. Did you get to spend some time with him this Christmas? Yes. Yes.

They live right near me and about 50 minutes away. And he needs prayer, though. Yeah. He's been raised up in church, but he's drinking and stuff and he knows better. But he says he's a Christian, but he's not.

Well, let's pray for him. What's his first name? Josiah. Josiah. Oh, I love that. Well, he'd be a good king.

Yeah. Well, let's pray for Josiah. Lord, thank you for Josiah. And we certainly thank you for the way you saved his life and John's son-in-law's life.

We heard about that. Lord, you are amazing. And of course, you save all our lives with every breath that we take. But you did something special for Josiah. And I pray that he would wake up, that he would see you knocking on his heart and see an opportunity for this thirst that he has to be quenched by living water.

Right? And he would never thirst again. Lord, we pray that he would find that answer, that you would knock on his heart and that he would feel your presence as we go into this here like never before to be able to quench that thirst and see that that great desire for you could be so fruitful as he turns that love out towards others. And we ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Amen. Well, thank you for your call. That's pretty amazing, Kathy. I got to tell you, I'm grateful for that and a chance to pray for Josiah. Hope you have a happy New Year. Thank you very much. God bless. And you too. All right. Bye-bye.

All right. We have Austin is in Jacksonville, Florida. How awesome is that? Austin, you're on Truth Talk Live. Hey. So glad you called.

Yeah. Thank you for answering my call. I appreciate it.

Oh, I'm excited to hear what you got. Yeah, so it's not a real big, you know, one big thing. It's just day in and day out, I see God's hand move in my life. I just see the effects of him and how he moves. And it's just, you know, I've got three small children and every day I ask God to help me, you know, be a light unto them, lead my wife, love her the way that Christ loves the church. I mean, it's just, it's no one thing that I'm thankful for. It's just watching God move in my life through my church, through the discipleship, being discipled.

It's just a beautiful thing to see God move. Isn't it? It really is. How old are your children, Austin? Oh, man, I've got a soon-to-be eight-year-old little girl and a soon, well, a three-year-old boy and then a soon-to-be two-year-old little girl. So we're busy at my house. Especially for the last three weeks you've been busy, I can assure you.

Ooh, man. It was a special time. And so, isn't it amazing that God raises people to disciple us, right? Can you, is there anybody in particular that you might name that really has been a big influence in your walk with God? So, you know, not to sound cliché, but my preacher, over the past year and a half we've gotten pretty close. And just under his teaching, and I'm able to call him at any time and ask him a question, you know, if I'm reading scripture and I come across something and I'm not sure what to do, he always encourages me, hey, look, before you call me, pray and ask God to give you insight on what you can't figure out, and then call me. So, yeah, I'd say my preacher. And then I teach in the youth.

We alternate on Wednesday nights between three of us. And the leadership that I'm involved in is a very firm foundation leadership and just so grateful to be a part of it. Darrell Bock Isn't that awesome when, you know, that to me is a relationship to have a pastor.

A pastor is supposed to be your shepherd, right? And if you can't call him – Darrell Bock Oh, man. Darrell Bock And I love that obviously he's pointing you to the ultimate shepherd, but still it's pretty nice to know that he knows your name, he knows who you are, he knows a little bit about your life, and he knows, you know, where you're at with your walk.

And it's a valuable thing when you got it, right? Darrell Bock Oh, man. You know, you take it for granted. Sometimes he goes out of town and we'll have a guest speaker and, you know, not to knock anybody as long as they're preaching God's Word unfiltered, I mean, as long as there's raw truth from God's Word, I'm okay with it. But, man, just hearing it day in and day out, you know, two times on Sunday, and, you know, just hearing it every week is a blessing, and sometimes you don't know what you got, you know, until you don't have it.

Darrell Bock Well, I can tell you that I am so grateful for your call. And also for, you know, the obvious discipleship you're in the midst of, and I got to tell you, with those daughters that you have, right? There's a whole lot more caught than taught. You know, at this point in time I have a 33-year-old daughter and I have a 24-year-old daughter and I have granddaughters. But what I discovered is that some of the good things I did when I was your age, they caught, and some of the bad things I did, you know, it's interesting to note.

But, man, some day when you see them pick out their future husbands and things like that, they're going to be looking for somebody like you, right? Mark Bailey Yeah, I've been praying for their husbands and then my son for his life, just, you know, God will deliver the right person at the right time, and that they'll be in the right season of life to notice it, you know, because a true marriage, you know, divine, you know, given from God is a beautiful thing and you got to be in the right season and you got to be able to notice those things, you know, when God puts the right person in front of you. Darrell Bock Yeah, and clearly God did that in your case, Austin. God bless you. Thank you so much for your walk with Christ and for having the courage to call in today. Mark Bailey Yeah, I appreciate it so much. You all have a good evening. Darrell Bock You too, Austin. God bless. Bye-bye. Darrell Bock All right, how about you? Looking in 2024 in the rearview mirror, how has God come after you?

How has he fathered you, maybe? 866-348-7884, 866-348-7884. I need your call. I want to talk to you.

I love these things, as Nick knows. We may well hear more Columbia when we come back. Stay tuned. Call us. We'll be right back.

Darrell Bock Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. Today we are looking at 2024, pretty close in the rearview mirror, as we just have a few days left. But before we start thinking about what we're going to do in 2025, I'd just love to kind of see where I'm at, see where God's taken me in 2024 and, you know, what are you thankful for? What did God do new and exciting or maybe he pulled you through some huge struggle, whatever it is.

We would love to hear the story, 866-348-7884, 866-348-7884. And I imagine you're like me, that you love situations where, you know, God uses you to help people, right? And you didn't see it coming, and all of a sudden there the opportunity was, and oh my goodness, you happen to be at the right place at the right time. And I do a devotion Thursday mornings at a retirement home in Mocksville, and I've done that for a long time. And this year, you know, there was the horrible hurricane and lots of opportunities to help hurricane victims. There's a lot of different ways, and through the Jesus, Labor, Love, through the Christian Car Guy show, we've opened up a new avenue there, a lot of neat things, but there were some folks that were at a place called Lake Lure in North Carolina that had flooded horribly and had displaced many people that were in other nursing homes and retirement homes, and so they took those folks and kind of distributed them amongst other nursing homes in North Carolina. And one of those couples came to the one that I come to every Thursday morning, and man, these were interesting folks. They were in their early 90s, they were like 92, 93, but very alert and very much right there with you. You know, in other words, they seemed like they might be in their 70s, actually, I mean just the way they acted, but they were in their 90s and very, very wonderful, nice folks, but they made it very clear right from the get-go the very first time I met them, well, Robbie, I'm going to sit in here and listen to you, but I'm Catholic, okay? So you know, we're not quite sure of who you are, but I just want you to know, and they were very, you know, from New York originally, and obviously that was, you know, their belief system, which was fine with me.

I said, it's great, you can, Catholics laugh at my jokes too, I promise. His name was Roy, we got along good, you know, he would laugh at my stuff and then he would look at me strange as I began to say certain things, but nonetheless, so you know, here about a month ago, it wasn't long ago, I was talking about one day about, you know, a lot of folks are concerned about whether or not they're going to recognize their loved ones in heaven, right? And I love that subject, and I think there's several examples in the Bible that would talk about that kind of thing, but this particular day I was talking about the Lazarus that was outside the rich man's house, that the dogs licked his wounds on that particular Lazarus, and how that rich man ended up in a bad place on the wrong side of Hades, right? And Lazarus was over in the good place, and Father Abraham was over there, and you may know from the story that Father Abraham was very visible to this rich man, he knew who he was.

In fact, he told him he wanted to go tell his brothers about, you know, not to make the choices he made in life, but obviously to choose Jesus so that he didn't end up over there with him in that horrible place he said it was burning so bad that he couldn't dry his tongue. Well, as I told this story, Roy, he started to look at me, and I could see that it really affected him, and I was like, what's going on, Roy? I can see that, and he said, well, I'm really, really concerned.

I said, what are you concerned about? He said, well, my son, you know, you should never outlive your son, but my son died when he was in his 50s, and I was really, really concerned that he would end up in that fiery place, and, you know, I was just asking God to tell me, show me, do me, you know, something, and Roy said that, you know, all of a sudden I heard my brother's voice. My brother had been dead for many years, but I knew it was his voice, and his voice said to me, Roy, do not worry about, and I forget his son's name or his brother's name, but he said, don't worry about him, he's here with me. And Roy was, I said, well, isn't that good news, and he goes, well, I'm not sure, I don't know how to take it because, you know, I don't know if they're in purgatory, I don't know if they're in the good place, if they're in the bad place, you know, he said, and I could tell there was a look in his face that was even more disturbed than all that. I was like, well, Roy, do you know that, do you know where you're gonna be? And he said, I'm not completely sure, Robbie, and I said, well, would you really like to know deep down, deep, deep down that you know that you're going to be in the right place, and that, you know, if both your brother and your son are in that place, you're all gonna be together for eternity, would you like to know that? And he said yes, and I said, well, you guys have the same Bible, I know you're Catholic, and he goes, are you sure that's in, I said, this passage is in the book of Romans, I guarantee it's in there, Romans 10, 9, that if you confess that Jesus is Lord, right, and you believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, it's not, you might be, you could be, it says you will be, and I said, Roy, do you believe, and so we had a chance to pray together, and we had a chance to confirm what was true, I mean, he totally confessed, he totally believed, and he was totally there, and you could see like a 20 million pound weight come off his shoulders as he began to understand that he could know, that he could know that he would be in heaven. And we prayed there, and his wife prayed, and it was just a rejoicing, and about the time we finished, if I didn't live this, I wouldn't believe it, these people came over that were driving the bus, and they were like, Roy, and I forget his wife's name right now, but anyway, they were like, it's time to go, we've, you know, we're fixing to take you back to Lake Lure, in other words, this was the last time I would ever see this man, because, you know, I don't know, I guess I could find him in Lake Lure if I went after him, but the chances are I wouldn't, but how cool is it that God arranged such a meeting, right, for such a time as this, this particular day, and you know, it's like you just don't know, and all of a sudden you're going to be given that opportunity that you didn't see coming. Did you have something like that happen this year, or some other cool thing, that God saved your life, or saved somebody's life, 866-348-7884, 866-344-TRUTH, so Nick, we didn't get to get to into Columbia much, and because, you know, we had John calling, and I wanted to hear from John, but, so what about, so why did you go to Columbia? So I went to Columbia, it was a present, because I graduated college, and my mom, she wanted to do something special for me, and one of her former students, they have a travel experience company, and you know, they advertise to a lot of college students, and you know, people who graduate after, you know, just to experience, you know, somewhere else, and you know, it was, it was a gift from her, but it was also a gift from God as well, because I would have not, because I'd, there was a part of me, I didn't even want to go on that trip, because I was just so, I was scared.

Alright, that's fear of the unknown, how would you know? Exactly. And I never forget the first time I went to what I would call a foreign country, you know. But you spoke the language, right?

Yes. I speak Spanish, and you know, I was kind of, I was letting people know, you know, what people were, what they were saying, you know, what they were asking, there were a lot of street vendors, and they went to, they were asking, oh, do you want to buy this, oh this looks bonita on you, you know, they'll say something like that, and I'll be telling them, the people that I was with. So yeah, and it was, it was a good way for me to, because I speak, because I speak, speaking Spanish in like, a place where you normally speak English is so much different than speaking Spanish in a Spanish country, so I was really blessed to be able to do, to have that opportunity, have that chance. And yeah. Yeah, I can imagine that, you know, that's their hard language, right?

And so. It's a beautiful language. Yeah, and when they're speaking it, it's flowing from a different place, and people are coming from an English point of view, right?

It's that, yeah, and they have different dialects, you know, at least for me, the Colombian dialect, you know, it was easy for me to understand, versus someone from like, the islands, the Spanish-speaking islands, they speak a lot faster Spanish than, yeah. So it was, it was great, and I'll definitely go again one day, and I'm excited, I'll never forget that experience. That's what is in my rearview, in my camera roll all the time, I pass by, I see all this stuff. I, God got me the strength to try seafood. I don't eat seafood, I've never, I don't. Aren't you allergic to some of it?

No, I'm not allergic to seafood, I just, you know. You never liked it. I never liked it, but you know, when I was over there, that's kind of like all that they had. But, so it was either like.

Something's fishy about this deal. Yeah, so, but yeah, for sure, I'll definitely do it again, and. And so when you, I'm curious, so you ate the seafood, what did you, did you eat something you really liked? Yeah, it was like, it was like a lobster, or a crawfish, it looked like a crawfish type of thing, and it was in like, it was like soup too, I have no idea how to explain it, but it was great. Like the before and after picture of my plate, I'll show it to you after the show, but you can tell I really enjoyed that, the food.

Yeah, if it was lobster bisque, I'm with you, I'm like that, yeah, give me some of that. Yeah. Absolutely wonderful, absolutely wonderful. So the people that you traveled with, did you know them? No, and that was the cool part about it, a lot of people, it was like, other people have, you know, said about the trip, you would go by yourself, but you will leave as a family. And that's like exactly what I did, I went by myself, and I met one, I met this one person at the airport, so I, I traveled alone, but technically didn't travel alone, because I met her, I met her at the airport, and we were going to the same place, and, but you know, I met a lot of people, I still, I'm still in contact with a lot of those people still to this day, months later, and you know, I, I can't wait to see them again.

I really can't wait to see them again. That's a beautiful thing, so, and you know, I had that same thing when I went on a mission trip to Jamaica, that I didn't know anybody when I went, and we became family. That's the family God, it's working like that. Well, enjoy your few days left of 2024, as you're looking in the rearview mirror, take a look through your camera roll, and praise God, and maybe share with somebody nearby how God came for you.
