Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk the truth news. I can't hide it. I can hold. A daily program powered by the Truth Network.

This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you what. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. Good day, Truth Talk Live listeners.

We are going to be talking about a serious topic today. A topic that has not gotten a lot of media attention, that's going to be the conflict, the persecution that's going on in the Sudan region. uh the conflict that's mainly going against Christians. You might have heard some news stories that have been going on in Nigeria.

However, there's persecution going on also in the Sudan region and other regions, unfortunately. But Rather than me talk about it, we have an expert with me. And that's going to be Pastor Kareem. Say hi to the Truth Talk listeners. Pastor Kareem, please.

Hi, Jamal. It's a pleasure being with you today. Thank you, thank you. The pleasure is all mine. Just to give you guys just a little bit of backdrop, Pastor Kareem is the English-speaking pastor out there at the Bible Church in Clemens.

This is a Middle Eastern Christian church. And you heard that right. This is a Middle Eastern Christian church, and they have many different nationalities. I think we are up to, what, 14 different nationalities in your church, Pastor? That's correct, Jamal.

Yes, sir. Um so we have somebody that um knows about what's going on in this area, has experience, grew up there. Um so Before we get into it, I want to thank our sponsors. Because without our sponsors, we wouldn't really be able to have shows like this. And that's going to be Vin Tastic.

No sugar, no carbs, full of antioxidants. Also, we have Ultra Pure Le Blue bottled water. refreshing drink. It's going to be a great taste and it's going to be good for you. We want to thank our sponsors and all the affiliates that carry these stations.

Without further ado, Pastor Karim, would you please address the conflict in the Sudan region facing Christians? Sure, Jamal. Also, I'll give a little bit of a backdrop.

So if someone listening is probably wondering, you know, under what authority I may be speaking. and why what I share is meaningful.

So I would Step back and say this. When Jesus was preparing the disciples, for what was to come. Once he was delivered into the hands of sinners as scripture says and be tried a mock trial and murdered through crucifixion, which was the plan of God and die and rise. He prepared them by saying, In this world you will have tribulation. But be of good courage.

for I have overcome the world. the message of Christ and the message of the gospel has been we are Foreigners. In this land, we are ambassadors. were children of the light of another kingdom in the middle of this present darkness. under the prince of this world as Jesus called him, Satan.

So the big picture is We should not be surprised. that amongst all the subgroups in this world, all the different ethnicities you can talk about, all the different Um nationalities. religions The group that is most persecuted and least talked about in the media. is Christians. And I think that came to light recently with the murder of Charlie Kirk.

I think there was a bit of a shock. uh ripple in the United States And around the world to Yeah.

someone could be targeted for what he believes, for speaking the truth. And in l and speaking good in love. In fact.

So I think that facade that we live in the West, that persecution is not real, nobody would kill anybody over what they believe. was blown out of the water. And for us who come from the Middle East, That is not new. We we live a lot of people live in the Middle East. and in parts of the world where communism reigns, Um And they understand that they are undesired, that the enemy of the th of the church is targeting Christians.

So with that big picture, We can understand when Jesus says Um But I tell you, love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you, meaning you will be persecuted. Peter writes in his first letter, if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed. But let him glorify God in that name. Jesus said, Blessed are those who are persecuted. For righteousness' sake.

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

So it's part of the package. Amen. And I just want to jump in real quick, Pastor Krema. I apologize. You said something that really kind of got me questioning.

Why are Christians being targeted? We're not out here trying to take over territories. We're not having people convert by the sword. What would be the point in targeting us and wiping us off the map? Uh excellent.

Excellent question, very appropriate, Jamal. You're right. As a Christian, we don't have earthly conquest in mind. In fact, unlike Islam, which believes That the merging of the Islamic faith and earthly rain needs to happen now. We don't believe that.

We believe in a kingdom yet to come. And so we're not pursuing Power. and influence and wealth in this world.

So why are we being persecuted?

Well, John answers that in his gospel. that the light came into the world, but people hated the light. Further deeds were evil. Whenever we enter into a community Or Speak. the truth.

that We are sinners. There is a holy God from whom we're separated. And you need to turn from your sins, admit that you are broken and fallen. And in need of a savior, that's first of all, speaks directly against the pride and ego of a human being. That's And so number one.

the message and Paul says this, the message of the gospel is an offense. And it is offensive. When people say, well, I'm offended by that, you should be. Because you're in need. Steve.

Number two. Not only are people blind and can reject the truth because the truth offends them and requires that they humble themselves and admit there's an authority above them. And he is judge and they have to turn. But secondly, we have an enemy. Satan.

And lesions. of fallen angels whose work is to keep those people in darkness and shut down the truth.

So who is he going to target? is going to target the church of Christ. Just like from the beginning. He worked hard to make Adam and Eve. rebel and walk away from God.

He works today to keep The eyes of people Shut up. the truth. So because of him and because of the natural rebellious prideful nature of man, We are targeted. That's right. I mean, nobody wants their sin called out.

You know, it goes back to one of the sentiments that's being taught about today, you know, live and let live. What they do over there doesn't bother me, so why why why speak up?

Well, uh Part of the problem is if you don't correct anything, what kind of society do you have? Uh if they're uh if if You can do whatever without any kind of consequence. Then We'll have all kinds of crime rampant. We'll have all kinds of. Debauchery going on.

So we, and it's been said by secular people and religious people.

Sorry, religious people, you have to have laws to have a nation. You have to have some kind of standard, some kind of structure. If somebody steals your car, are you just going to be like, oh, well, you know, no big deal.

Somebody breaks into your house. you know oh well I just write that up to um you know You know, good old karma or something, or I guess that's what the universe wanted. And I bring that up specifically. Because I saw on social media, saw for myself. video.

Somebody had their cousin breaking into somebody's house. And the cousin got caught, and later was saying, Well, my cousin needed some money, so it should have been all right for my cousin to break into. Your house.

Okay, well There's a standard here. As the Bible says, the word is a double-edged sword, so it'll cut one way and it can cut another way.

So, while you can justify Your cousin doing some kind of criminal act to serve their needs, how would you feel if somebody did the same thing to you. Uh if the shit was on the other foot, I'm pretty sure you'd be all up in arms and screaming bloody murder and asking for some kind of justice. you know, to fill that standard. But there's the break. Don't touch that dial.

This is a call-in show. We're here with Pastor Kareem talking about the conflict in Sudan. Call in 866-348-7884. Again, that's 866-348-7884. More truth coming at you.

Stay tuned. Truth Talk Live You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. We are talking about the Sudanese conflict. Yes, there is a conflict going on in Nigeria where Christians are being persecuted.

by the thousands, However, We also want to look at stories that might not be covered by other media sources.

So we're going to be talking about the conflict going on in the Sudan region. And just for a little bit of background, Sudan is going to be on the kind of top. Right portion of Africa, more so, I guess, closer to the Middle East. It's a fairly large country. It's about the size of Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

So this is no small area. It's pretty significant. And we have Pastor Kareem on the line. But before we bring him back on, we have special guests listening out there in the. Utah region.

So we want to say hi to the guys out there in Utah. And we have another special guest listening out there in Charlotte on station 820 a.m.

So we want to thank all of our listeners. And call in. Listeners, we have a number for you to call in. If you want to weigh in on any kind of suggestions, anything that's on your heart, anything you want to ask Pastor Kareem, considering that he grew up in that area, he is a pastor, so he can speak to many different. topics regarding this, spiritual and how to lead.

Also, about the cultural aspects with that situation.

So without going on any further. We last left off with Pointing out why Christians are being targeted, why we have to have laws to prevent. Any kind of crime, of course, violent crime.

So, if you could pick up where you left off, Pastor Karim. Monsieur Jamal. And you know, we we kind of established that to expect that there will be conflict in the world. and conflict targeted towards Christians is normal. It it should not be a surprise To any Christine.

Why? Because of sin, because of fallenness. and because of the enemy. who works to keep people blind. and oppose the work of Christ through his body, the church.

Just a side comment before I talk about Sudian. You made a comment about justice and society. Um Okay, please. You know, if you look at the fact that every society And this goes back to God's formation even of early government in the book of Genesis. We need laws.

the govern it's like a covenant of how we live together in society What we consider acceptable and unacceptable. Then two, We need Courts, judges. those covenants, those agreements. in the specific situations. And three, we need law enforcement.

Every society throughout history has figured those things out.

Well, why do we need all that? Why don't we just cancel our police our law enforcement or courts. There are laws. because every human being knows it'll be a jungle. And that is evidence.

that we are sinners. In need of a savior. The fact that we need one of the graces of God is actually government to restrain. the sinful nature of man.

So just a comment. In Africa, we know this well. Because I grew up, I was born in Egypt actually. In the north, you described it right, you said top right.

So the northeastern. edge of Africa is Egypt. And I was born in Cairo. But I shortly moved because of my father's Business. Uh in Sudan and move to Khartoum, which is the capital of Sudan.

And I grew up there until I came of age and came to the United States to go to engineering college.

So growing up there, We grew up in a nation of the times again, And just a little bit of history for context. Um During the Islamic Uh If you will. movement and growth from the Arabian Peninsula and going out West from the Middle East into North Afr into North Africa. Islam swept. Through Egypt.

and Libya and Morocco and Tunis, that whole northern part of Africa, and then began to push down into the heart of Africa. But it kind of stalled. Because a lot of people began to resist. this aggressive Movement. And in Sougain is one of the places where it stopped.

In fact, Sudan, if you go back. uh fifteen years was actually a bigger nation than you even described. You probably know this. Today there is a Sudan and a southern Sudan. Yes.

And the reason there's two nations and the newest nation on earth is called Southern Sudan. And that's a long story, but the northern part of Sudan was dominated Bye Muslims. I lived in the north. I was in less than the one or two percent Christines. I was the capital was there and the seat of power and in the South was predominantly Christian and animist tribalist.

And because of that, the desire to dominate and push Islam, there was a war that broke out. between the Christian South and the Islamic North. And back then, I think it was during the Bush administration, They interceded and created a peace deal where there was a seven-year period of kind of. of a mi of a mixed government with northern Muslims and southern Christians. up at the end of that period, the Christians in the South would vote.

to decide if they want to secede. from Sudan or remain part of it. And it was sort of a motivation to see whether the northern Muslims could actually Live in peace. with the Soboing Christians.

Well We know how that story turned out. They could not. and the South voted to separate. And today, if you look at your Africa map, you will see there is a Sudan NA.

Southern Sugan. Faust again.

So Today There is in the nation of Sudan, which is the northern part, you would think, well, they're all Muslims. Things would be fine. No. It's not. And The story goes further that after that split between southern Sudan and Sudan, there was a lot of skirmishes on the borders.

Now, not all of it was based on faith matters. A lot of it was based on oil fields. and wealth and the land. But make no mistake about it, there was a desire By the government of Khartoum, which was predominantly backed by what's called the Muslim Brotherhood. These are Sunni.

Uh political group that really wants to see Islam grow and dominate. the world ultimately. And due to that, ideology, there's conflict as you can imagine with neighbors. And after the split, Sudan began to discover some raw materials, including gold in the mountains on the western part of Sudan. and other natural materials.

Um But they also had a group of people in the region called Darfur, which is the western part of Northern Sudan. That are considered sort of a mixed breed, a mix of, this is their language. Of Africans and Arabs, because remember, the Arabs swept through Africa and they intermingled.

Some did, some didn't. And that northern Sudan or Sudan government desiring to dominate the region. Promote Islam and dominate the resources of the country. Decided to, if you will, subcontractor group. called the ginger weed.

By the way, Jenjo Leed means demons on horses. And this rebel group of violent, aggressive, I'm going to call them evil. Um militia. began to sweep through the Darfur region and actually committed incredible atrocities. Going back to five to ten years ago.

I mean mass raping of women, murder. uh slavery and taking of children. And the government used them as an arm to try to essentially exterminate and dominate those Darfur regions.

Well The interesting part of it is what they started as a way to cleanse, in their mind, the western region and dominate and push for. the influence of the Islamic government into the western part actually became a two-headed monster. And the story of the conflict, and maybe we'll say more in a minute, that lets you absorb what I said, but. is that that monster they created to dominate the western part to get rid of these. half breeds as they think of them.

and control the region for its wealth. actually became a monster that turned back against that. Yeah, and and That is a lot to absorb, but we have the right person on the line. We'll be going to lose some people. I want to pray for people that the conflict ends in the Sudan region.

And if you're not saved, today is the day of salvation. And if you are saved, go find somebody who is not saved and leave them to Christ. We'll be right back on other markets. Truth Talk Live. You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com.

Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. We are here with Pastor Karim. We're talking about a heavy subject, but a serious subject. the conflict going on, the person persecution actually going on in the Sudan region. Um just to kind of top off again, uh The Conflict in Nigeria has been hitting some news outlets, not as much as it should.

But there's also another conflict, persecution going on in the Sudan region. We are here with an expert, Pastor Karim. He's a pastor out there at the Bible Church of Clements. This is a Middle Eastern Baptist, excuse me, not Baptist, they have their roots in baptism, but this is a Middle Eastern Christian church. But don't let the name fool you.

I've been there several times. They just had a movie talking about the Sudanese conflict. It was a great movie.

So I've been to service, I've been to their Bible study, I've been to their Middle Eastern Christian Festival where they had great food.

So this is a great church open for everybody. And they are a Bible believing line by line church. you will not be disappointed. You'll be fed, and these guys are welcoming. They they don't meet strangers.

So when you get a chance, go out there. But to go back to what we're talking about today, Pastor Karim, you had mentioned that Islam must dominate. You even mentioned uh how Charlie Kirk was assassinated. I bring that up because, as you said so rightly, We here in America can can live in a bubble. And we think that everything is okay and everything is fine, nothing to see here.

I can go to my movies. I can uh go home and turn on the tube and eat my ice cream and everything's fine. But uh when Charlie Kirk was assassinated right in front of our eyes, right out there in broad daylight, when he was just having a conversation so we would not get to violence, That was pardon the pun, uh pardon the expression, that was a shot heard around the world. Because if they shoot him just for expressing his views, just for talking about his talking points. Who who's safe?

It's not like he was in the midst of a battle or what have you. And this is not about Charlie Kirk, this is about evil. World domination. You mentioned how, again, Islam wants to dominate the world.

So Who what what what would stop them? It's actually in in in their book, in the Quran.

So they want to Subjugate everybody. And from my understanding, correct me if I'm wrong, Pastor Kareem, the word Islam means subjugation or submission. Submission. Submission. All right.

And just to finish out this point, real quick.

So They who are hardliners. They believe this. and they believe in world domination. And you can say, well this is only one percent of you know, that that population.

Well, when you have a population of Islamic believers in the millions. one per cent is a very high number.

So let's not think that Everything is all safe or secure here. Evil does exist. And if you don't believe in evil, There are evil acts. And we had a wake-up call in America. Israel yet again had a wake up call.

in October 7th. The Sudanese had a wake-up call. A little while ago. And let's not forget the Rwanda conflict. That was what, 2014, I believe, where 500,000.

to a million people. Were affected. I have to look up my AI here to make sure I'm correct. I'm sorry, that was 1994.

So there's a cycle. And I might have said this before, but it bears repeating. One of my favorite quotes from Edmund Burke, All it takes for evil to succeed is good men to do nothing. And if you want this to stop, we have to do something. I don't care if it's sharing a post.

Post on Facebook, writing a letter to your congressman, going on a mission trip or sharing the gospel. Because one major factor, actually, the major factor to changing hearts and minds is the gospel. Nothing else changes hearts and minds. Hearts and minds, but the gospel. But to keep me from rambling on, you're not here to hear me talk.

You're here for Pastor Kareem, the expert.

So if you could, Pastor Kareem, again, pick up where you left off, please, sir. No, I mean, I think that's right on point. the reality is and I think Anybody who's been to a seminary, I haven't, but I've studied a lot of materials. and studies hermeneutics, which is the science and art of interpretation. knows that there are rules by which we interpret a text.

And I want to point out this: if you apply proper hermeneutics, even to the Quran. you walk away radical. Mm. you cannot get around the reality. that God In the Quran, which by the way, I don't believe is the word of God, obviously, um commands Muslims to subjugate all people and all nations to Islamic reign.

And so those who do that and do that even violently are actually the most faithful. interpreters and appliers of the ground.

So we have to recognize that, whereas the most hermeneutically Correct Christians. understand our kingdom is not here and now. And so There's a very dramatically different point of view on how we approach life on Earth. This again. And whether we're talking about Sugin.

Or whether we're talking about Nigeria. or whether we're talking about Cuba. Or whether we're talking about North Korea? or the United States. The enemy desires to keep the lost blind.

and to cripple the body of Christ, which he cannot do. But he has many tools. And one of the tools in the West is complacency. Just. Just relax, enjoy the weekend, show up at church once a week.

You know, enjoy the pleasures of this world. If you get a chance, maybe share something about Jesus. and make you ineffective. And on the other hand, so you can He can make you complacent with the pleasures of this world, or he can do what he does in Africa and in the Middle East and parts of the world, which is bully the church. into being quiet.

Now ultimately neither will work. But there's many Christians who are not effective in those environments and were called to be.

So For example, in in to pick up once again. The Islamic regime that led to the splitting of the nation between South and North, then beginning to push. their ideology in the West created the ginger weed. Demons on horses. this group of militia And then, over the years, after the removal of the current military leader who had been there since I left Sudan, I think in 1989 or 90.

Uh Omar ibn Bashir. And in 2019, he was removed. and the what's called the SAF. which is the formal Sudanese military because it's been run by the military for decades. Try to take control.

But the monster they created, the Jenjiweed, whose roots are now called the RSF. which is a militant other group Within Sudan, began to fight over Yeah. and influence and control of the country. If you were to look at a map today, you'll see the Western region more controlled by the RSF. And the Central region more controlled by the Sudanese military.

And this conflict has devastated. The country. In fact, you know all the media talks about you know gaza and that is problem and I'm thankful that we're at a peace place. Thankful for this administration for brokering peace. I hope Ukraine and Russia get settled.

But there have been millions. displaced out of Sudan into Egypt, into Chad, into Uganda. Where's the news? Nothing. About that.

And we can speculate as to why. But Needless to say, in this process of this battle between the Sudanese military and this militant group. A lot of innocent people have been wiped out. And the country has been devastated. And while they're at it, since they both agree on one thing, which is we don't want Christians in this country.

This conflict has led to a targeting of churches. I've seen pictures from people who remained before they left. of the street I grew up in. of the churches I used to know.

Okay, even videos and social media of the SAF, the military, walking through a destroyed church with a camera footage. showing it. They have essentially taken advantage of this conflict to might as well wipe out the Christians.

Now a lot of them have fled to Egypt and neighboring countries. and the churches have pretty much been shuttered.

So that is the reality of militant Islam. That is the reality. of Satan, who desi who desires to destroy all people. Separate them from God and oppose the work of the church. And whether it's Sudan.

or whether it's Nigeria. You know, that's a whole other story, which I'm not as intimate with, but Whether it's Deborah Yakubu. in twenty twenty two in Nigeria was literally stoned to death. supposedly for blasphemy because she was a Christian. and claimed that Christ was indeed the Son of God.

and the murder and the rape of christians which just got media news the last few months in nigeria or whether it's a destruction of the church and Christians, plus a lot of innocent Muslims as well. to be clear in Sudan. That is the reality of Satan, an enemy working through many tools including Militant dislocum. That's right. And we covered this on a previous show to where we were talking about how.

Islam is not even safe for other Muslims. If you don't fully jump on board, then they consider you a traitor and not worthy to paraphrase. And I'm glad you mentioned the camera footage.

So, if you don't believe what we're saying, because I'm all about the evidence, the Kind of goes back to a book that a friend of mine, Caleb Iderley, he recommended to me, Evidence Demands a Verdict. That's kind of like a Christian apologetics book.

So we're all about evidence. We don't run from evidence in the Christian faith.

So if you don't believe what I'm saying, Pastor Green's saying, go look at the footage.

Some of these guys wear GoPros on their helmets to see what they do, to brag about it, to their families. You guys have probably heard about the terrorist that was over there on October 7th that was bragging to their parents about how many people that they killed. bragging about killing. Not bragging about a football game. Not bragging about some kind of test score that they have had or some kind of a Accolades that got another job, they were bragging about killing and they were being rewarded for it.

saying, What a good and faithful son you are. Go check out the footage. It's graphic. What? It shows what we're up against.

It shows what uh how how far people will go.

So are we going to ignore Evil? and allow it to spread across the world. We didn't do that in World War Two. We didn't do that in World War One. We tried to sit out in World War Two, but we got uh bombed.

Believe believe that was nineteen forty two Pearl Harbor. And then we got involved, and thank God for that. It was unfortunate the way we got involved, but the world benefited from that.

So get this people, Christians. Or anybody listening. The world benefited from America getting involved in a conflict where evil was trying to spread.

So this could be the same situation here. Um As you can see, this is going by fast. We have a lot to talk about. Stay tuned. This is a call-in show: 866-348-7884.

Again, 866-348-7884. Back with more with Sudanese conflict and Pastor Karim. Stay tuned. Call in. Truth Talk Live You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com.

Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. We are here talking about the Sudanese conflict. We're here with Pastor Karim. pastor of the Bible Church in Clements. also uh grew up in the area of Sudan, so he has Expert knowledge about that area, and he's bringing in spiritual knowledge as well about how to address this conflict.

But before we continue with our topic, How could people get in contact with you, Pastor Karim?

Well, um The church has a website and has social media presence. If you will just look, type in Bible Church of Clements. We're in the city or the village of Clemens. on the western side of Winston-Salem in North Carolina. Just type in Bible Church of Clements in Google, in Facebook.

We're on Instagram. We're even on TikTok.

So you can find this that is probably the easiest way. And um No, you are welcome. To join this, we are We believe that the church, the ecclesia, which is the word means people called out and brought into the Hebrew word equivalent congregation Uh What we see in Revelation, every tongue, tribe and nations. around the lamb.

So we are thankful that we are fourteen nations. whether it be from Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Guatemala, Uh United States England. United in Christ. And um We have services on Sundays. 10 a.m.

in English, and we have another language service at 1130. I just want to point out one thing. When you look at the body of Christ and we hear every tongue, tribe, and nation, That tells us that when we gather ultimately, we're not going to lose our ethnicity. Ugh. or our language.

Or our origins, but we will be united by a greater thing: the blood of Christ as a family of God. And this And the differences will be a reason to rejoice. as people who have been called out from all these backgrounds in United. Do you know Jamal? When I see you.

We grew up in different parts of the world. I know a language you don't. and different cultures. and different citizenships. By the way, I don't really pay attention to race.

I think it's a fabricated concept. It's not in the Bible. There's just ethnicity. And Me and you have more in common, as little time as we've spent, than my own flesh and blood family who do not know Christ. About that.

Yeah, that just goes to show that. There there is only one race, the the the human race. And I'm I'm so glad you you brought that up. You mentioned about the 14 different nationalities that are within your church, and you also told me that if. We were not here in church.

and we were in different parts of the world. We'll be killing each other. Imagine that. Let that sink in a little bit, folks. This is the power of the gospel.

This is this is the power of Jesus Christ, the the the the church. if it was not for the word. fellowshipping together. worshiping together, following the book, following God's way, not man's way. If it wasn't for this church where 14 different nationalities are coming together, if it wasn't for this church, they'd be out there in different parts of the world killing each other.

And that's what we have right now.

So, if you want to talk about the validity of the church, the importance of the church, You can see it right there in the Bible Church of Clements. you could see it actually played out in the world. People want to ask, well, what can we do?

Well, as Stu likes to say, we'll give them the gospel. What are you doing? I mean, that's what Jesus said. We are to be disciples and make disciples. That's pretty much about it.

Another simple one. Love God, love people. If you really want to change the world, this is not Pollyanna. If you want to change the world, give them the gospel.

So, that is one thing that we can do. What's another thing that we can do? What can Christians do? to help uh ease these these these conflicts that's going on in Africa and other parts of the world, past Kareem. You know, you said it correctly earlier.

The gospel is the answer to everything. Uh the Bible tells us you know romans 10 Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. But he says, how then will they call? on him in whom they have not believed. And how are they to believe in him of whom they have not heard?

And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And obviously, this is a call to evangelize the world. Go. to the world, Jerusalem, Judea, and to the ends of the earth. And the point is this, when you know the Prince of Peace, you experience, the Bible says, peace with God through Christ.

Hebrews 12. And when you experience peace with God, you experience the peace of God within you. And then you experience The piece in your relationships. The Bible says in as much as it is in in your ability, live at peace with all people.

So the answer is The Gospels. A amen to that. as somebody that has somewhat been searching. I was doing the kind of surface Christianity. I go to church every now and then.

I try to be a good person.

So I guess that's good enough, right? No, it's not good enough. As Jesus said, why do you call me good? There's none good but the Father. Paul even said, Your good deeds are as filthy rags.

Another example I've heard is: okay, you have terrorists that exchange weapons amongst each other, as I said also earlier, congratulating each other on killing. They call that good.

So what can we define as actual good? Jesus Christ. what the Bible teaches that is actually good. You can see it out in the Bible Church of Clements. You can see it out in other churches when people are being their brother's keeper, when they're going on mission trips and not asking for anything in return.

They just want to spread love. They want to spread truth. They want to spread camaraderie. They don't want anything in return. They don't want to get a paycheck.

They don't want to set up a camp and plant a flag over there. They just want people to get along and they want people to know Jesus Christ, and they also ultimately. want to go to heaven when they die. Because this world is not our home. If you think this is the best.

there is out there, you're sadly mistaken.

So we want to have the best life we can have here, but also set people up for the better life to come in the hereafter.

So I've said this before, I'll say it again. Today is a day of salvation. If we don't do anything else but preach the gospel and get people saved? That that's that's a job well done. If you don't believe me, then that's what God is looking for.

He says, when we pass over Well done, my good and faithful servant.

Well, how do we be faithful servants? Go back again. Go and preach the gospel. Go into all the world and preach the gospel. That's how we good get to be good and faithful servants.

So just another question before we close up and wrap up, Pastor Kareem.

So you said Will you answer the question about what Christians can do? Let's say we get involved and we solve the problem. Would that be it? Could we just say where we're done and you know we can go back home? I mean, uh.

Would that be all she wrote, or do we have to stay engaged all the time? Yeah, obviously Christ didn't call us to a part time job. He was clear. If anyone Wants to follow me? Number one, deny yourself.

Number two, take up your cross. Number three. Follow me.

So the first prerequisite is deny yourself, meaning I come last. Christ is everything and I'm willing to pay the price to follow him. That's an all-in. Commitment. of my life in his service.

to share the gospel, to make disciples. To do good works that God has preordained I walk in. and to see the kingdom of God prosper and the gates of hell. Or down. Amen to that.

And just for a little bit of disclosure. I have ties loose loose ties to to the Sedan region.

So, this kind of hits a little home for me. I've also been to Africa, thank God. I've been to Accra, Ghana, I've been to Kenya. Africa is a huge continent. not country, but a huge continent.

I spent a month over there. And Africa is a beautiful place. They have beautiful hotels, beautiful beaches. They do have their struggles. Let's not get it twisted.

But go to Africa. And surprisingly, a lot of them speak English as a first language.

So you don't even have a language barrier. The same way we're conversing right here, the same way we talk to one another, you can go over to Africa and converse with somebody over there the same way. When I went over there, it was the same thing like at Pastor Kareem's church. They did not meet a stranger. I was welcome back to dinner.

to go hang out at somebody's house. We were traveling all all over the place.

So Let's not think that Africa is just some lost country that doesn't need our attention. 'Cause guess who is paying attention? China's paying attention. I even heard that Russia's paying attention. China is making inroads to take over.

They're building up their infrastructure, building up dams and roads and cell phone towers. China doesn't waste anything. They're going over there for a reason. Are we Do we want Africa to fall in the hands of China or anybody else?

Now I'm not for colonization. or uh anything of the sort. But if Africa could be independent on its own a Christian nation, fine. But uh You have other people creeping in where we are not stepping up.

So, Christians, step up, help out. Let's save some people and ultimately Let's um Save some souls. Pastor Kareem, you have the last word as we get out of here. Do you have anything else you want to add to the show? Uh I think This is, I would say, what Christ said.

If anyone would follow me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow me. mediocre Christianity, mediocrity is no Christianity. You're either all in or you're not. Jesus said, If you're not for me, you're against me. I think the time for mediocrity is over.

The question is, are you all in for Christ? Amen to that. end it with this prayer. If you all would pray with me. Heavenly Father, we want to thank you for Truth Talk Live for getting out this message.

We want to thank anybody that's willing to get involved, any church that's willing to get involved. And also, we ultimately, again, want to have people get saved.

So bless all the Trutho Network affiliates. Please bless Africa. Anybody that's persecuted, we ask you for their deliverance. And we give you all the praise and all the honor. In Jesus Christ's name we pray.

Pastor Kareem, thank you for listening in. Truth Talk Live, thank you for listening in. Take care, and God bless. Truth taught
