This is the Truth Network. This is the Truth Network. Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk the truth news. I can't hide it.

Oh yeah. A daily program powered by the Truth Network. This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you what. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind.

And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. We have gathered under one of the largest Areas in the world right now, a collective group of Christian Broadcasters. We have TV guys. I think Moses just walked by. There's Pray.com, there's Pray I, there's AI, there's date the word.carson, there's Bower Sox and the big energize bus.

Unbelievable. Dr. Abinash Shaw, this is NRB, the National Religious Broadcasters. Robbie Dilmore, Dr. Shaw.

We got the whole cast of characters here. Dr. Joy Greene's right there. Isn't this a blast? This is great.

This is why we come here every year. Wow. This is my second year.

Well, if you add the one in 1994, then this would be my third year. And I had to pull you away from your book signing. You signing books to all these people. It's amazing devotional. We still have some if you're in Nashville.

If you're at the NRB or coming tomorrow, come by, get a book. Amazing the people that you sign books for. One guy found out about you on the Truth Network. He heard you. Yeah, he's like, well, I just heard about you guys on Truth Network.

Love it. Everything is great. You know, I want to hear more. I said, do you know Stu Epperson? Yeah, I know Stu Epperson.

I said, he was here five seconds ago. And he just looked at me for a while and I said, yeah, he was here. And so, anyways, it's been great.

Well, Robbie Dilmore, you've done this. You're an old hand at this. And you have been doing interviews back to back to back to back of some wonderful people. Dr. Carson's been here helping you in this wonderful industry, Rich.

This is our family. These are our people. We need to reach a world for Jesus, and that's what brings a bunch of oddballs together like this, doesn't it? Amen. I gotta tell you, Stu, it almost takes my breath.

up to here. There was a girl that I interviewed her last year. She has a ministry to Iran. A church is in Iran. Wow.

And last year, you know, we're trying to support her ministry, this year, oh my goodness, what they're going through in Iran. It's unbelievable. Um The government coming into houses, shooting families right there that were involved in the just horrible, horrible atrocities. And to see the look on her face and sense where she was compared to a year ago, but and then, you know, then here come people from Israel and some of the poverty that they're facing. And then I, you know, next thing I know, I'm talking to a man that's got the prayer wall, and it's just one after the other of the other of what God is doing.

And in the midst of what looks like it's absolutely unbelievably horrible, God is there, Dr. Shaw, right? In those circumstances, providing only the hope He could. See, sometimes we have that last man standing syndrome. We feel like I'm the only one doing this, and there's no one else out there.

But being here and connecting with people, people who believe in the Word of God. People who believe in Jesus Christ being the only way, truth, and life, and you realize: man, we're working on the same team. Just like the people from Iran, I mean, I can only imagine the atrocities, and I mean, you hear about it, but it's so terrible, and they're standing up for their faith, they're standing up for Christ.

So yeah, I'm with you brother. And there's an all-out assault on Christians in Sudan, one of the largest Holocaust in the world that no one's talking about. We're doing a viewing, like a screening of this amazing movie tomorrow night, two screenings actually. Ed Lyons will be on this show.

So, here's what, folks, let me just tell you: Stu Everson here, Truth Talk Live, from Nashville, Tennessee, from the Nash Religious Broadcasters. We are here to give you FOMO. But not just to make you say, I wish I was there with these people, but to make you say, hey, what's God doing in the world?

So we're bringing that to you. It's like we're sidelining reporters for the big game. And the big game is a bunch of believers that love Jesus, all kinds of people, all kinds of nationalities who are trying to reach the world for Jesus. I met with a pastor earlier, has half a million members, second largest church in the world. As we're meeting.

Ed Lyons walked in the door. He starts sharing with him about Sudan. Pastor says, I want to send money. I want to help Sudan. Wow.

We all huddled. We had a prayer. There were tears. Indian believers understand persecution. Oh, yes.

I hear the story of Sudan. I'm like, okay, well, that's tough. That's way over there. The Indian believers, where there's attacks on Christians, it's tender to them. That's right.

That's right. And then I went to interview this one pastor. He said, You can't interview me. Mm, because they want me dead. And so, this is real, and I guarantee you, people listening to the show right now aren't facing that kind of intense persecution.

That's right. But you know what? Let's open our mouth for the gospel. That's why NRB exists, national religious broadcasters, to keep the airwaves, the channels open. And there's a whole lot of folks you're interviewing today, including this guy right here.

Who is this guy sitting next to you, Robbie Dilmore? That is the only, the one and only, Dr. Date the word Carson, my partner, many, many, many times on Truth Talk Live. And Dr. Carson, you've been.

A busy man today as well, right? You better believe it. You better believe it. We started out this morning. With the opportunity to hear Dr.

David Jeremiah share. about his incredible ministry. Of 60 some years. He's been married 63, so 65 years of ministry. And he got the Stu Epperson Award.

And Stu Epperson Sr. Award for Media Excellence. and David Jeremiah has been doing it with excellence. And then, as we've been talking... I got to share, there was a moment for the listeners that love David Jeremiah as I do and have followed him for years and years.

They ask him a really poignant question like... David Jeremiah Dr. Jeremiah is 84? How do you want to be remembered? And his answer Was absolutely take your breath stunning.

In my opinion, it was. He said, I want to be remembered. For my relationship with God. And then I want to be remembered as a partner. As a partner.

As a partner to his wife. And then. As a father, see, here's a man with some of the largest ministries ever dreamed of, and where were his priorities clearly in And I think he mentioned something along those lines three different times during the hour that they were interviewing you and finding out. But what touched you about that with Dr. Jeremiah?

What an opportunity, right? To hear that. Right there was a gut check because there's a lot of young people and that's great to see in an RB, young people walking around, you know, and so the question is, you know, are you? Are you too much doing other things rather than the priorities, Christ, God first, and family, and then church, and then comes everything else?

So that was a great moment for me to examine my heart.

Something else, Dr. Jeremiah said, that really touched me. You know, he said, and the question was asked, What would you do differently if you could go back in time? And he said, I would be more patient because when it comes to good ministry, strong ministry. Wisdom, hidden wisdom.

because all of us want our ministries to flourish overnight. Right. And when he shared that, it just gave all of us a little bit of permission. Be patient with God to grow the oak tree. We're not after growing squash, we're after growing oak trees.

And if it's worth growing, it's going to take time. And that spoke to me. It was like the Holy Spirit. Saying, listen to that. Right.

What he described was that for seven years, I mean, he was wanting to build a new building. They had this little bitty chapel that they were doing church in. And you can imagine the frustration of the gigantic ministry that he had. He couldn't get a building permit. Obviously, they're in California.

They're in California and can't get a building permit for, I think, he said nine years. May have been nine. Whatever period of time it was. Oh, my word. He said, but.

Because of that. He said We expanded the radio and the broadcasting ministry that none of us would have been impacted because God was doing something while he was being frustrated over here. And just like you said, Dr. Shaw, the opportunity for us to look into our own lives. Absolutely, absolutely.

And I looked at my team at that moment because they're all young, they're in their 20s and 30s. I said, you know, patience. God is in control. Got to keep your eyes on Him. Let Him do the work.

You work hard and smart, but know that at the end of the day, it's not about you, it's about Him, and He will do it in His timing. That's so beautiful. And I interrupted you, but I just didn't want to miss that moment as I cooked.

Well the the Again, growing crops takes time and uh And let the Lord bring the water, let the Lord bring the sunshine. And uh And I do think sometimes we find ourselves wanting to build our ministry. David Jeremiah has been about building God's ministry. When he told about the thing about the carrot, Thirty Eight different ways a carrot can be used, so that he goes and takes his Bible. How many different ways can we get God's word to people's lives?

And I'm like, I came back and told Danita, my wife. I said, honey, we got to have the carrot principle with date the word. How many different ways can we get God's word to people so their lives can be changed?

Now we expect a whiteboard with a carrot on it and the cursor home. That's kind of how you take the car. You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live from the NRV Live from Nashville. Like man, I You have to be here and we want to try to explain and give you some...

information that only people that are here could get. And so we have been streaming. By the way, if you go to either Robbie Dilmore's Facebook page, or you go to Robbie Dilmore on Facebook and all those places, even on LinkedIn, I think, then you can watch the interviews that I've done all day long, and they're still there, so you can go back and you can watch the interview with the girl from Iran, or you can watch the interview with the Joseph Project, or some of those, or the man with the infinity wall. All those are there on our social media. I want you to be aware of that, and we're so grateful for you listening today.

And we're so grateful for our amazing partners that the ministries that God has allowed us to partner with. And again, Dr. Shaw is with us. And so Man. Talk about a prolific author.

God has given you some amazing books that we needed to know about.

So, the book, thank you so much by the way, it's an honor to be here at NRB and to be part of the Truth Network here is just such a great privilege. The book that, just to mention, is 30 Days of Praying for America. This is the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding. And I love history, I love American history, and so every chapter, which is like one day, you know, a day. a day's devotion.

Is about some aspect of American history where People look to God, they look to God for provision, for protection, going back to our nation's founding. I mean, even prior to that, the colonists, you know, how they. Just, man, when you think about those stories that are in those, that people would get in that book. and you love history and I do too, which one stands out to you like, man, I can hardly wait till they get to this page because they're going to find out that you met this up.

Well, I mean, every one of them is quite interesting. The one that I like. the most is about George Washington. 1776. David McCullough is my favorite.

American author, you know, he passed a couple of years ago, but he talks about. George Washington's letters to his wife during the war. Really? And yes, and in the letters, he is like. If God doesn't come through, if God doesn't come through, we are done, it's over.

I can't do anything. The Congress doesn't understand. Troops are struggling, they don't have any money, they're hungry. I mean, so he's. He repeatedly talks about prayer.

So when people say today, you know, oh, our founders were deists, they were a bunch of humanists, you know, Enlightenment thinkers, not true. This is his personal letter. This was not his presidential speech. This is personal letters he's telling his wife, pray, please pray. Ask everyone to pray because we are, we need God.

What a treasure. I mean, what a treasure that we have letters that George Washington wrote to his wife. Yes. And you can see his deeper thoughts through them, and they were of God. Absolutely.

And if there was anybody that God came through for, it would be George Washington. Like, man, none of us would be. Anywhere close to that's, and then again, this is 30 days of praying it for America. Can you imagine 30 such stories that you're going to enjoy?

So I want to make a promo, Robbie. Go ahead. because this we're coming up on July the 4th. We're coming up on the 250th. Date the word here is speaking, okay?

Here we go. Doctor, date the word. There are thirty days in the month of June. You need to get this book so that you have it. for the month of June.

So they need, how do they get the book?

Well, it's available on Amazon. And every bookseller just asks them. Yeah, again, the neat thing is that if you go to Dr. Shaw's, author page, right? That's right.

On Amazon, Abaddon Shah, PhD, right, you're going to see all his books, not just the 30 Days for Praying, but the other ones we're fixed to talk about. Because between now and May 31st, get this book. Have it at your house so that every day of June, talk about getting yourself ready to celebrate America with 250, 30 prayers. Amen. What a day.

In our hometown, the Chamber of Commerce has this book. In their front office.

So when people walk in, they see this, they go, oh, wow, I didn't know that. God is working somehow. The other books that I have here, 30 Days Through a Crisis, you know, this crisis we wrote. It's funny about me, it's not funny, but it was upside down when I was looking at it, and I was like. 30 Days Through the Circus.

Well, Crisis Circus? I mean, it's about the same, right? It's the same thing. You know, in retrospect, we should have written 30 Days Through a Circus. 30 Days to a New Beginning, and then, of course, there are a couple of books that I've written.

One is can we recover the original text of the New Testament? This is more on Greek and knowing that we... Yes. So people know that when they hold the Bible, they're holding in their hands the inspired Word of God. Let's talk about this a minute.

Yes. What a brilliant idea to... that God gave you clearly. to dig into this because there are so many people, right? They're like, you know, they could have translated it 50, or they just argue, well there's 27 different translations of this, it's just not.

And so, what's the scholarship that goes into this? Oh, so we have four different scholars that came together for a conference. And we said, you know, Mm. There's so much that is coming against the Word of God, and it has been since the Garden of Eden, as God indeed said.

So nothing new under the sun. But recently, in the past 20-some years, the big debate is, do we have the original text or has it been lost forever?

So you can have your versions and all you want to, but we don't have the original tech.

So these are scholars from different perspective in textual criticism. Reason eclectic. uh Byzantine priority, Sturzian Yeah. you know, Sturzian approach to the text. Different perspective, but they all come to the same conclusion.

We can reach the original text. In fact, we have the original text.

So what we're disagreeing over is probably 0.00 something. That's right. So when somebody says, or some scholar or some professor gets up and says, you don't have, you know, the Bible was corrupted, it's so corrupted, they're not telling you the truth.

So I know you're sitting there thinking, well, now I know the answer, I don't have to read the whole book wrong. Because here's the advantage of a book like this from my perspective is... Think of the Bible study tools you're going to learn as you begin to see how these scholars looked at this particular text. And because we all are. Right?

Supposed to Take in this text, and we're supposed to, you know, cut it into the proper pieces and rightly divide it exactly. And so those gifts Whoa. You know, all I have to say, and I know you enjoy the same thing, is God will show me something in this depth of study that just turns my lights on completely for the day. Absolutely. Absolutely.

Man, look what I found. That's like a treasure. And you can use it in Sunday school lessons, Bible studies. There's so many ways you can use that. Beautiful book, I love that.

And forward by William Warren, who's who is the head of the New Testament department at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

So yeah, he wrote the foreword. And then finally, changing the goalpost of New Testament textual criticism, which was my work, and it goes into more details on.

Some of the recent attacks against the Word of God, and then what is our counter to that? How do we answer?

So that's what has God indeed said.

Well, yes, He has said. That's right. It's a trustworthy source for us. That's authoritative. Amen.

Inerrant, inspired, authoritative, sufficient, necessary, and clear word of God. Looks good. Right, it's wonderful. And again, one of the more reasons that we're so excited to have Dr. Shaw with us on daily and certainly sharing the booth with us here and enjoying this.

So what's something else, Dr. Shaw, that grabbed you today?

Well, just walking around, meeting people and just knowing that we're all in this together, sharing the gospel of Christ. One thing I do want to mention is that we're talking about it on our booth, is there's an apologetics conference coming up. At our church, March 29th. It's on the text of the New Testament. You can go to the truth.

My Facebook page and find more information. I don't want to miss out on that. It's all there at thetruthnetwork.com. That's right. We're going to be right back with a whole lot more from the NRB.

Stay tuned. Thanks for listening. Truth talk line. You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live from the NRB 2026.

And what an amazing thing it is, Doc. One after another, we meet some amazing people. With amazing stories, God stories. Yeah, they are. I can tell you, I've heard.

Some remarkable ones today, and we have another one of those right here front and center for you. We have Marcos. Santiab. Santi Benez. Santi Benez.

I had it once. But I, you know. Nonetheless. His book is for this reason from being a drug lord to serving the Lord. And everybody said, Robbie, you gotta talk to Marcos, that he has a story of stories, and so.

Wow. Drug lord to serving the lord. Take us there, Marcus.

Well, it also says the Coke King Cuban cartel. I started, a family member introduced me to cocaine at 18 years old. And I was taking cocaine from Miami to New York, and from New York. I was taking it to Puerto Rico. And selling drugs to the chief of police in Puerto Rico because we knew his nephew.

He was a crooked cop. He was selling cocaine to doctors, teachers, lawyers. Uh People that in high society won't want to be seen in the streets buying cocaine. They say, look at the teacher, look at the dentist, look at the Lord. And then I was 18 and a half, almost 19 years old, I opened a candy store in New York, in Brooklyn, and I was selling dime bags of cocaine.

It was called Speedball. out of those candies called the jawbreakers to the heroin addictors. We're making $30,000 every two weeks.

Okay. And after a year there I said, you know, I'm going back to Miami.

Well, I grew up in Carroll City, Miami Gardens, next to the stadium. And when I got back to Miami, I got hooked affiliated with the Bedellin Cartel of Pablo Escobar. And by the age of 22 years old, I became a multi-millionaire. I bought a beauty salon because the government doesn't know how much nails you paint, how much hair you cut, and I was starting to lend you money through a beauty salon. Like the movie Scarface.

He bought a. Scarface, I don't know if you've seen it. He bought a beauty salon for his sister. I bought it. to line your money.

Okay. Then at Uh 25 years old, I used to ski behind President Forshouse that never hit Colorado. I had $30,000 change. I had monkeys. I had Paris.

I had everything you wanted, racing boats. But I was empty inside. And by that time, I need two Cuban men because every documentary, everything you hear about Miami, that Miami was built with drug money. In the 80s. Wow was one of them.

I need two key bra man. They had a company and they were laundering me a quarter million dollars a month. A million dollars every four months. As you can see, if you open the book, you'll see there that Day County needed to bring tourism. To South Florida.

And we We build what's called the Coco Walk in Coconut Grove. There's three stories. There was boutique restaurants, theaters, clubs. And and the eighties. And then later on in in in the ninety, in the beginning of the ninety, Uh Day County.

Uh transportation was very bad.

So they came up with this thing called the monorail. Which is still there. And they got backed up because there were so many people wanting to get it. They didn't have enough space to put the cars.

So we built the biggest project all the way from Tallahassee to keep west. It's called behind Dayland Mall, the parking garage for the DOT Department of Transportation of the Monorail. I bonded that building at 25 years old. My signature's there. and they're laundering my money to build that.

I've built schools, I've built shopping centers. I built clinics. Uh you name it. Libraries I have my black fringe in my left side. and the cartels are mediating on my right side.

And just like a Scarfish, when he got busted. He said make The check to Montana Enterprise.

Well my enterprise was lendering money to a construction company. I had everything a man wanted. I was empty inside. I was so empty you cannot imagine. And my dad One day he told his son One day And one day they're gonna catch it.

In the key of your cell, of the jail, they're going to make it out of chocolate. You're never going to come out of jail, son. And I lived paranoid all my life.

Now you gotta think about it, okay? Every Wednesday I was sending 180 kilos of cocaine to Atlanta, Georgia. And for one kilo they will give you from 15 to life. We had Atlanta, Georgia, McNab, Fulton, decap, lockdown. And then every Wednesday I was selling 80 kilos.

Yeah. Tampa. Saint Petersburg in Tampa. We had a lockdown. And every day when you take your children to school, I would drop 10 kilos a day.

In Carroll City, and 10 times 30 days a month, that's 300 kilos of cocaine. that I was just sitting doing. Miami. And Just how you see Donald Trump. Right now blowing up the shipment of drugs, that's how I used to get them.

on a weekly basis. I have five Columbians supplying me. the network of the empire Wow. And so I I guess God Did you get busted? What happened?

That's a good question. What happened is that I didn't tell you the beginning, I had a praying mother. I say the last, the best for last. Like Jesus did with the one. When I was seven years old, my mom took me to church.

And my favorite verse is Philippians 4:13. I can do everything through Christ who gives ministry. And what's impossible for men is possible to God. Every Tuesday, I used to meet the cartels. Pablo Escobar in Miami.

at a restaurant. To talk about the shipment of Georgia were coming in, how much y'all was going to get them? Right before we're gonna eat, I used to tell them Bow your heads, let's pray. And they used to tell me you're a crazy Cuban. Here more loss is someone to be found.

Don't you know who you are, who we are, or who we work for? You're crazy. And I go, Yeah, but what I do Ain't got nothing to do with Jesus Christ died for me on the cross. And I used to bow my head and pray. Because the Bible said that we're children of God, it's by grace, it's by faith, not by works, and no one can boast.

And it tells you story short. Like I said, I have monkeys, racing volts, you name it. I even did a video with John Cicada. I don't know if you know who John Cicada is. He's saying we're Gloria Stefan.

And the video is called An Angel Spirit of the World of Ghost. I came out of NTV, VH1. It still comes out of VGoography. A motorcycle hat. And what happened in my life?

Like I said, I was married and I had five girlfriends besides my wife, girls that used to model on bathing suit. They had student bodies. And I met four Canadians. And their honeymoon in Miami, October 9, 1995. Moss, your Lynn, Steven Denise.

We build a conversation up on the ocean. They told me they were Christians. That's what I look. My name is Marcos. I'm Keevitt.

I'm a multi-millionaire. I'm one of the biggest drug kingpins in the United States. I got everything a man wants, but I'm empty inside. I have my $30,000 chain, my $60,000 Rolex. had a quarter million dollars in the room.

And if I'm empty inside, man, I think I'm going to lose everything. And I'm scared to death. Paranoia. And he goes, Why don't you come upstairs? Let me read you the Bible.

She had a praying mother. A mother never give up. And that day, October 9, when he took me upstairs, you opened the Bible, it says, Thou shalt not commit adultery. And right there, like Jesus says, it is for your good. When I die, The Holy Spirit will come to earth to convict that man of standing teacher of the truth in that day.

I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I ask you to forgive me for my sins. I know he died on the cross for my sins. That I said, Father, I know in my heart. That you raised yourself from the dead.

Best with the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. And when I got up from the ground, I said, man, I feel peace. What's going on?

He put his head on my shoulder. He goes, God called you to preach. But the story doesn't end there. I tell you the story about my mom. My mom, uh Robbie was an orphan of four years old.

Watch his fingers, four years old. When he came from Cuba in 1971, she had a sister in Cuba that her husband was an alcoholic, and he was in jail. They told him that His wife was having an affair with a guy across the street, and my mom's sister was taking cue and coffee everything to a little old lady. And when he came out of jail, he stabbed my mom 33 times and killed her, my mom's sister. My mom had a meltdown.

33 represents the age of Jesus Christ. And a lady from a Baptist church, the day Christian, came to my mom and spoke about the truth, the way, and the life. And those of the worry we have are burdened to come to God and God will give you rest. And my mom accepted Jesus Christ, the Lord and Savior. And you see this finger, my father.

The one they introduced with a drug? Abandoned her and left her. And you see like a gun right here? I had a brother named Julius Caesar. My name is Marco Anthony.

We're named after the two Roman Empires. My brother graduated the biggest Baptist college in the United States of America, Liberty Baptist College, where Jerry Farrell was a pastor. I'm familiar with that. My brother graduated day north at St. Thomas University.

He was 22 years old. He's got to become a master, I mean a professional baseball player. And watch this. When he came home, he saw that my dad left my mom, walked away from God, and they shot him and they killed him on my birthday. Can you imagine that mother?

going through all this and having a son. Yeah. A prodigal. The devil was trying to destroy me. I was in the wide road of destruction.

Nothing comes out of the ground if it doesn't have a root. The root of all the love of money. But you know, Lord, when he told me to call my mom, I called my mom, and when that phone rang, she picked up. She goes, Son, son, where you at?

Son, where you at? She knew I was lies like, oh my mother, I gave my life to Christ. She had a meltdown. She fell down. She started crying and saying, Thank you, Jesus.

Thank you, Jesus. And you know what? Robbie. Look. I could have been dead.

JO Old is running for the law. And nothing ever happened to me. God chose the worst thing in life to humble the wise. Thomas had to see by the wounds. Nobody ever turned me in.

My two black friends, one did 27 and a half years in jail, the other one did 29 and a half. Went to they went to jail. Uh The judge so as long as humanity assists you can't come up. Thanks, Donald Trump. Six years ago.

And you were charged for trafficking. He's down more than 25. He parted and they both came out. They never turned me in. D cartels are made.

TBN radio station. We didn't kill Pablo Escobar six months after that. They paid my trip to Golden Mein to preach how God changed that wreck. a drug blower like me. And then the Fez went up there.

They picked them up, they shipped them down to Miami. They bought the prosecutor, everybody, they did nine years, they shifted back. You're still my friends, and guess what? It's a beautiful story. Because God told Moses, Moses, I raised you up for one purpose, that through you my power may be manifested.

Nobody ever turned me in. I'm a miracle. Many are qualified for your chosen. And my testimony is only good for two things, man. Mm.

For you to believe that God exists and he changed me, he can change you. That's it. What is the book? It's called For this reason. Again, from being a drug lord to serving Lord Marcus.

Santipenez. Santi Benez. The Colking Cuban Cartel. Like, oh my goodness. What an amazing story and again, I know a lot of listeners, they have children.

Right? Yes. That are struggling, that are prodigals. Keep praying. Keep praying.

Keep praying. Keep praying. It's an amazing thing. Thank you so much, Carl Marcos. They can Google my name, Marcos Santa Benez, Ministry, and it comes out there.

They can order free ship in the United States, $20. And I'm an evangelism preacher. I preach at the worst jails in Mexico. And I'm just building a church in Mexico through the donations of the book. Thank you, sir.

God bless you. We appreciate you. Thank you so much. Wow. You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com.

Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. Today we are live from Nashville and like we say man, you never know. Who's coming up next, something amazing God is doing, and certainly. Those who got to hear about Marcos in the last segment, it was amazing. But I got to tell you that one of the more amazing things.

Um that I've had a chance to I guess Find out, look, God's. kept me in the loop of for years and years and years has been the Persecution Project. a long, long, long time partner and and really good, good friends because we shared a lot of time together over the years.

So we have Ed Lyons in You know, it's on with us here now. And I've heard about how horrible things were in the sedan for years, but I have to tell you. What you said at dinner last night, Ed. Uh I Like, man, it's almost worse than ever. Maybe it is worse than ever.

It is. It's worse now than it used to be. The government of Sudan now is bombing the Christians, not with the Antonov. cargo planes that you can hear coming. for a long time and you can hide you can jump in foxholes or hiding caves, but now they're using drone warfare.

And so these drones survey before they drop. They find the high population areas. and when they drop the bombs, um pretty accurate.

So what we're dealing with now is A lot worse than what we used to deal with. Right after Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving. They dropped two phosphorus bombs on a group of young people, mostly teenagers and 20-year-olds. killing 49 instantly, one survival. Then on Christmas Day, a group worshiping.

Uh Had the birth of the Savior, and they dropped the bomb on those worshippers. And then on January 6th, they used the drone again. to attack a marketplace.

So The Sudan armed forces are targeting high population areas and going after the Christian population. Right, high population areas in the Christian areas, right? They are targeting. Right, the people that you have lived with and ministered with for years and years and years, so your heart's broken. I can see it.

Yeah, yeah, we've been there, you know, going on 30 years now, so we have those relationships.

Some of our workers in Sudan have lost loved ones. in some of these attacks and everybody's traumatized. They were traumatized beforehand, but now they're dealing with this extreme trauma. of the uncertainty, because you can't hear the drones coming. and uh they're much more accurate, so It's a it's a new level of terror.

that's going on. Right, and then and it Obviously faith becomes an even stronger Uh-huh. point of You know, I I Something to hang on to and so you guys have a big film. viewing coming up Tomorrow night in our booth here at the NRB. Yeah, we're showing the Exodus film.

It's a true story documentary, 24-minute documentary about. Pastor Musa and evangelist Emmanuel. They helped rescue thousands of Christians out of the capital area of Sudan right after the bombing started in the capital of Khartoum back in 2023. And so with our help, We provided buses and they organized all the Christians to locate, to get to the location of the buses. And they were at great risk to their own lives.

They were able to rescue thousands of people.

So this is a wonderful documentary film that's very inspiring. and uh at great personal risk. Um Yeah, it It just, it reminded me so much of the scriptures where it's just talking about people laying down their lives for your brother and things like that.

So it's a wonderful film. The trailer can be watched at NubaExodus.com. But we're showing the full length upstairs tonight or tomorrow night Yeah. How are people going to be able to see it, you know, listeners, whatever, Nuba, Exodus, the full length event, how would they be able to... Yeah, if they wanted to show this at their, it would be great for churches or men's groups or any other function.

They can just contact me. send a message to our website and we can arrange for the showing at their church or at their due to Stu's partnership with you guys for years and of course Brad's one of his best friends and that the founder of the Persecution Project and Stu are very very close and Stu himself went over there He did. Probably 10 years ago. It was a while. It might have been more than 10 years.

Yeah, it was a long ago. Maybe 2009?

Something like that. Yeah, Stu went over, spent some time, got to see the people, got to meet the people, saw what we were doing. I believe he rode across a river on an empty oil barrel to get across this massive river. That would have been a sight to see.

Well, if you want to see some of those sites, we have those pictures. They used to be up in the conference room. Do you remember? of stew in the Sudan and I always you know I gotta admit there was a A comical thing of it that his brother-in-law, I don't know, they went to the same outfitter.

So Stu and his brother-in-law had on exactly the same, you know, sort of Indiana Jones outfits that they were wearing. And so we. you know Comically renamed his brother-in-law. He was Stu Stunt Devil. You know, when they came over, they brought a whole bag of stuffed animals and they handed it out to all these children.

They've never seen a stuffed animal before, but boy, those kids gravitated to that. It was something to behold, you know. And I think they were giving out little stuffed bears. I think that was the animal that they chose. And of course, in Africa, you don't have bears.

You know, you have all the lions and everything else, but they brought bears. Then you have a teddy bear. It just made sense, you know, for the whole thing. But I got to tell you, Stu. was affected.

You know, you can. You can talk about poverty. You can You know, read something in a magazine, you can do a lot of things, but when you actually see people that are dying of thirst. or getting sick from bad water or and you experience that. Stu was affected by what he experienced over there and Um You clearly, Ed, have been affected over the years, and I got it.

It's just a... A real sombering time, isn't it? Yeah, especially now. Since 2023. There has been a mass Wow.

Crisis. We have two Islamic militaries fighting for control of the country. And the country is being decimated, and they're using that opportunity to attack the Christians as well. But you've got a population of 45 to 50 million people, and 15 million have been internally displaced.

So they're not going from. One town to the next, one village to the next. They're going from the country to Egypt, from Sudan to Chad, from Sudan to South Sudan. You know, they're walking. months sometimes, carrying only what they can carry.

Their children are arriving in the region where we're working, in the Nuba, and they're at the point where they call it severe wasting. These children, we were told by the doctors that we support over there that at one point, you know, a couple years ago, 300 children were dying each day from Malnutrition, you know. situation where they can't process the food. Severe wasting is where you've gotten to the point where even if you had food grown locally, your body can't process it.

So at that point, in November of 2023, we started supporting the hospitals with therapeutic feeding program. And we're bringing in massive amounts of this therapy food to get these children and pregnant women, lactating mothers, elderly, back to the point where they can digest food grown locally.

So we've been saving, in this program, we've been saving over 2,000 children each month.

So we're continuing that because the situation hasn't gotten any better. And so, you know, for those of you who have supported the Persecution Project over the years, which we're so grateful for here at the Truth Network, grateful for a chance to partner in that, again, it's good to have the feedback, Ed, to see, you know, obviously God's... Doing great things. Yeah. Through the Persecution Project in the middle of what is actually.

A horrifying, horrifying, gut-wrenching time for these. Indigenous people, but they're all heroes. They have a faith and a joy. Can you kind of describe that? Oh boy.

Yeah, their joy. In fact, the film shows the joy of these kids, these people, these Christians. NubaExodus.com. I mean, you can see the joy on their faces even in the midst of all this. heavy crisis in their lives.

They just want to share the gospel and they want other people to know the grace and the peace that Jesus brings into their lives. Yeah, they just have a wonderful joy that is internal. You know, you can't get it from the outside, from the world.

So And if anybody wants to help with the feeding program, nubafamine.com is the website where they can. You want to spell that? Yeah, NUBANUBA. FAMINE, F-A-M-I-N-E dot com, and they can support some of the therapeutic food that we're bringing into the country right now. Talking about lighting a candle in the darkness.

Yeah. 'Cause you gotta be able to feed them the way they can handle the food. And that's a major work that you're doing there, and we appreciate that. This is so humbling to, and this is part of the NRB. to be reminded of Not everything.

is wonderful. Um I can't, that statement's just breaking my heart. Each day 300 children die of malnutrition in Sudan. Yeah. Yeah, it's not just a dynamic.

Yeah, each one of those is a face. Each one of those has a mom and dad. Each one of those has a grandparent. Right. Thank you.

Well, thank you. Thank you for letting us get the word out about the situation. And, you know, at the very least, people can pray for the Sudanese Christians and all the people there in Sudan that are suffering. We're hoping to get the gospel out to all those that don't have that peace in their heart. And there may be.

Because that's the heat. There probably is a lot of people that don't even know where the Sudan is. Right below, south of Egypt. Yeah, Sudan. If you go to Cairo, go south.

Yes. And then, but it's not only.

South of Egypt, but then it's the South Sudan. In other words, the country itself is Sudan. We're in Sudan. Right, but you got to keep going south to get to well. The Nuba is in the southern part of Sudan, not in South Sudan.

Yeah, that's a separate country. But there you go, we learned something else.

So thank you for listening to Truth Talk Live, live from the NRB. We'll be back tomorrow with a whole lot more. Truth top line Yeah.
