That's right. I love this America. Hello, fellow Patriots. Jeff Stein filling in for Todd Sarns today on this Tuesday edition of the Fun Fest. Coast to coast, across the great United States of America.
Thanks so much for being along. I'm coming to you from the Liberty University studio at my home base, News Talk fifteen forty KXEL in the heartland of Iowa. Mr. Starnes is going to have a great time later today in H Town, Houston, Texas. He is going to be the special guest.
At the Two A Tuesday event at Collectors Firearms, there, and you may have heard him talk about this. I've seen the postings on the social media, and I am jealous as all get out. If you go to Patriot Talk Nine Twenty dot com, that is the tremendous Darns affiliate in Houston. Patriot Talk Nine Twenty dot com.
So, Patriot Talk Nine Twenty has a series of events called Two A Tuesdays. It is at a place called Collectors Firearms, which looks like a fantastic operation on Westheimer Road there in Houston. And if you go out there, and there's plenty of time for you to get in the car and get there, they'll do the live broadcast four o'clock local time, and then it's the normal two a Tuesday social with free food and drinks, and one lucky attendee will win a firearm. And you got Todd Starnes there as well. You can pick up a copy of his excellent new book, *The Golden Age*.
This thing's been out for several weeks, but it's still in the top ten in various categories of Amazon. And you've seen Todd on the TV box talking about it in all places, C-Span and some of these other spots. But if you are anywhere near Houston, you've got to get. You've got to get. To collectors' firearms this afternoon, four until seven is the event.
There's the broadcast. There's the book signing, free food and drink, and someone's walking away with a Walther nine millimeter. That's part of their Two A Tuesdays program. Wow, what a great idea! This is giving radio stations across the country.
Nice job, Patriot Talk nine twenty in Houston.
So that is why Todd is away today, and he'll be away tomorrow. And the team has been kind enough to invite me to sit behind the microphone while he is in Houston. nine zero one two six zero five nine two six Same number as always. Dial in. We've got time for your call.
Throughout this hour, a few guests sprinkled throughout the program as well. Coming up in the second hour of the program, an hour from now, we're going to be speaking with Mark Meckler of Convention of States Action. We're going to be talking about the atrocities overseas and how that's not just overseas. The infiltration, and you heard Todd talk about this yesterday. The infiltration is right here in our backyard.
Mark Meckler of Convention of States Action, one hour away. Also in the second hour of the program, the chief political strategist of this fine radio effort, Josh Jones, stops by to talk about news of the day. And Newsmax contributor and host Mary Walter is along in hour number three. But again, your calls throughout at nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. I am struck by, and here we are, just two weeks away.
Two weeks away from election day, and I'm struck by the the silly season, as they often say. It gets to be the silly season when you're this close to an election. The silly part of what I'm about to tell you is how Democrats are. Acting as if their time in office never happened and that nobody would look back at it.
Now, it is true we live, unfortunately, in my view, we live in a "what have you done for me lately" society. We don't like to look back. We say, ah, that's just that's history. That's old. That doesn't matter anymore.
The Democrats would hope. That you don't remember how things were when they were in charge, because if you think, wow, you know things are kind of turbulent with Trump, he keeps it stirred up, and boy, sure don't like paying seventy dollars to fill up my tank with gas, and so you might be in a weak moment, susceptible to hear their little charms, their their little attempts.
Well, I'm here to make sure we keep you on the straight and narrow, because some of these folks who act like their hands were clean and they were innocent, as all get out, they're the ones who have done the worst things. You know, there's a there's a saying that the thing that you complain about the most about others, you're actually doing yourself. And that is certainly the case with Democrats, and I've got a variety of things that I'll mention as we go through this Tuesday edition of the program. But let's start. Let's start with Barack Hussein Obama.
Now, I don't like to. I would like to forget the eight years where he tried to fundamentally change America, and let's start with that, folks. When Barack Obama ran, he said he would fundamentally change America, and then proceeded to try. Luckily, the American people figured it out, but still. That was his goal, no different than the socialist running today.
Well, now it's near election time, and Barack Hussein, you can call him Barry Obama, has resurfaced. And the last time I think I was here, we talked about him going on the campaign trail for various candidates up in Michigan and other places.
So Barry Obama posted on the Twitter X machine the other day. I mean paragraphs of righteous indignation about the Justice Department, law enforcement in this country investigating Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
Now, forget for the moment that these same folks. Who were wringing their hands and clutching at their pearls and waving themselves with fans because they had the vapors? These same folks who are doing all of that now—they were very quiet when agents were raiding Melania's personal chest of drawers at Mar-a-Lago and and running a search operation based upon bogus information. They were quiet then.
Well, I want to cite a few things that Barack Hussein Barry Obama wrote on Twitter X.
Now, I'm going to try to read these sentences, friends, without cracking up laughing. It may be hard. It may be hard, but here it is. This is from Obama, President 44, if you will. It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can't selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say.
Okay, stop right there. It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can't selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say.
What did his administration do during the 2016 campaign? What did the Biden administration do, right down to figuring out who bought a MAGA hat? I go on to understand why this is so appalling, and he's talking about Elon Omar's investigation. He said it's important to know the facts. He says Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old.
Well, they're investigating whether he actually is her father because that makes a difference. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan, because they're buds, he goes first name on us, had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenships separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically. Stop right there.
We're not sure of her birth year.
So right from the second paragraph, there are two potential huge fact errors. Was he really her father, and what was her age at the time? And then he goes on, blah blah.
Now the administration is actively, Barry Obama says, trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized and therefore is not a citizen. All to try and uncover a non-existent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case. Justice delayed is justice denied. Professor Obama. If a criminal act took place, there's no passage of time exemption.
There's no way she can run and touch a rock and say, "Base, I waited you out." You can't do it. Here in my state of Iowa, we just arrested someone on a cold case, murder case. It was 30 years old. What's the defense?
Well, he got away with it for thirty years. Why are you prosecuting now? Here again, the fiction of President Forty Four. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she dared to criticize the president. No, first of all, law-abiding.
How about all the Somali fraud? How about the full weight of the federal government being brought down on someone? And he closes by saying, "The fact that any president or any administration is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar's political views." Yeah, we did feel that way when you and your group of thugs did it. Yeah, we did feel that way when your boy Biden did it. And the former president closes by saying, "Because if this becomes the new normal, there's no reason to believe it will stop with her, or that future presidents in either party won't do the same." This is going to sound childlike, but dude, you started it.
All of the surveillance of Trump during the 2016 campaign, simply so you could get horrid Hillary across the finish line, to preserve your own legacy, and you're complaining because. We have monumental fraud in the state of Minnesota. That's her backyard. It is the the the audacity, the ability to say this with a straight face when they know the record. Because again, they started it.
Now, that's not to say that what's happening now is the same thing in any way. What's happening now is? How about we crack down on immigration and fraud? How about that, President Obama? I mean, he won the title.
I don't think there were any problems with those elections. I can't really say President Biden, but that's a different issue. President Obama has some very strong words here, but has conveniently forgotten. What his own administration did to target conservatives.
Well, luckily, as a public service, I'm here to remind him. That's a piece of paper, as God bless Rush used to do. I'm holding in my hand. It goes back to another time too. I'm holding in my hand a list of atrocities by the Obama administration targeting conservatives.
I had forgotten about some of these. I don't want Barry Obama to forget. More importantly, as we look to November third, I don't want you to forget. And when we come back, having just heard from President Obama and his wonderful verbiage that someone wrote for him, I'm here to share some of the atrocities of the Obama administration that. Put what's going on now with Omar to shame, especially since I think there is a there there with her.
There is a lot there with her. This other stuff, not so much, and we'll talk about it after this break. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. Please join the coast to coast conversation. I'm Jeff Stein in the Liberty University studio for Todd.
He is in Houston for a two a Tuesday with Patriot Talk nine twenty a m. More of the Todd Sarn Show in a moment. I was thinking back to the pandemic in twenty twenty when the media narrative was absolute. People suggesting early alternatives were actually silenced and. Deep platformed.

So, in the prior segment, I was highlighting what former President Barry Obama wrote on the Twitter X machine. He said it is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can't selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. Wish he had thought that. Same thing when he approved of the IRS targeting Tea Party, Patriot, and nine twelve groups. I wish he felt the same way when his administration approved of Lois Lerner's role in the IRS targeting and looked the other way, and actually contributed to her missing emails.
And speaking of the IRS, how about the delay of the Crossroads GPS application? How about IRS targeting of True the Vote and Catherine Engelbrecht? How about that stuff, President Obama? Not enough for you? How about Operation Fast and Furious?
Guns from that link to Brian Terry's death. The Attorney General and wingman is he called himself your wingman Eric Holder was held in contempt over fast and furious. How about that? It's a basic principle of American democracy that government can't selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. You're writing that now.
Wish you had thought that when the Department of Justice, Mr. Holder's group, seized phone records of the Associated Press. Wish you had thought that when you labeled our friend James Rosen, now the chief Washington correspondent for Newsmax, then with Fox, when you labeled him a co-conspirator, and you got a warrant for his emails. Wish you had thought that then, President Obama. Wish you had thought that when your Justice Department in twenty thirteen came up with Operation Choke Point.
This put pressure on gun dealers, ammunition sellers, and payday lenders to expose your political enemies. I'm guessing the folks at Collectors Firearms in Houston weren't real thrilled with the concept of Operation Choke Point. Oh, don't forget Crossfire Hurricane, that investigation. Don't forget a FISA warrant on Carter Page, the use of the thoroughly discredited Steele dossier and FISA applications. Did I mention that you yourself?
Barry Obama asserted executive privilege on the whole fast and furious topic, and endorsed your wingman Eric Holder withholding documents tied to it. I'm not even halfway through the list yet.
So when Barack Obama, I'm going to start calling him. You know, the president's the commander in chief, right? I'm going to call him the Pearl Clutcher in Chief because these guys are just wringing their hands and clutching their pearls, and they have the vapors and all this good stuff. Barack Obama, Pearl Clutcher in Chief, complaining about an investigation of Elon Omar when he did all of this other stuff. There's more.

Jeff Stein filling in for Todd on this Tuesday. Todd is in Houston for the Big Patriot Talk 922 A Tuesday Happy Hour and Mixer at Collectors Firearms. Go to the Events tab of PatriotTalk920.com for the information. Free food, free drink, free radio.
Somebody's walking away with a free gun as well. Walther 9 millimeter. Thank you very much. Most importantly, you can pick up a copy of the Golden Age, get an autograph, get your picture taken with Todd. All of that.
If you're anywhere near Houston, that's the place to be. It's four until seven today. In our prior segment, I was talking about the former president, the Pearl Clutter in Chief, Mister. I know more than you, and I'm going to be sanctimoniously talking down to you, Barry Obama. And again, he's saying this is this is his statement.
I printed it off so I could read it. The fact that any president or any administration is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans.
Now, see, here's the difference. He wasn't at all transparent, but he did the same thing, selectively targeting individuals because of their political beliefs. Told you, I wasn't even halfway through the list. Here's some more things: investigation of Trump campaign advisors. Remember the investigation of Paul Manafort, the investigation of George Papadopoulos, the prosecution of Dinesh D'Souza, and then there's the unmasking.
No, this is not something you do when you're done with trick or treating on Halloween. Unmasking is a legal intelligence process where the U.S. agencies reveal the identity of an American that was hidden or masked in a classified surveillance report.
So, certain people in the Obama administration, like Joe Biden, Susan Rice, James Clapper, John Brennan, Samantha Power. They all put in unmasking requests to reveal the identity of Trump supporters. Remember the unmasking of General Michael Flynn and how that shakedown took place. That's targeting Mr. Obama, Pearl Clutter in chief Obama.
Then there's Benghazi. Do you remember the talking points initially? I cannot imagine that they sat around the table and said, "Oh yeah, people will buy this." The attack on American personnel in Benghazi, the fatal attack. Remember, they said it was because of a video that had been posted in social media, and it got the locals, got the natives all riled up. And then, when that story started to fall apart, remember how they persecuted the Benghazi whistleblowers.
That seems to me to be selectively targeting an individual or individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But yet now, now that it's Elon Omar, well, now it's horrible, according to Mr. Obama. There were all manner of problems with the IRS that we've already talked about some. But remember, when they would sit on the nonprofit applications from conservative groups, if you're a liberal group, you got your tax exempt status approved right away.
If you're a conservative group, they just sat on it, so you could not raise money and you could not oppose them. IRS demanding donor lists from conservative groups. Department of Justice wingman Eric Holder being involved in IRS targeting discussions. Yeah, all that stuff happened. The investigative journalist Cheryl Atkinson and her surveillance, surveillance of her.
When CBS sold her out, now we don't want any trouble with the government. You're on the street. Yeah, that's a that organization had a strong backbone. All of those folks crying over there about, oh no, there's new owners and CBS News isn't going to be what it used to be. Good, that'd be good.
Maybe it could go back to being a news organization. And again, we've talked about. Targeting of groups, five hundred one c four conservative groups, Americans for Prosperity, et cetera, et cetera. All right, it's a full list. I say that, and I've taken this amount of time to go through it because of how the Democrats are trying to spin things now.
Because the prosecution, the investigation, a judge who signed a warrant, and it's a Democrat congresswoman of questionable repute from Minnesota.
Now they're rallying the troops around, saying, "Well, this is terrible. This could never. This this can't happen in our country." Well, it's all of our country, first of all, and second. Y'all did the same thing a decade ago or more, and were much more secretive about it. At least the folks who are going after this rogue congresswoman—they got a warrant from a judge.
They didn't set up some sort of shadow government to do all of these things. They didn't start investigating journalists. Oh, all of the hue and cry lately about oh no, CNN can't ride the press plane or Politico. You know, it's all it's all a conspiracy.
Okay, there's not enough room in the White House press room for every journalist who wants to be there. There's just not. I've been there. It's not that big a room. As I recall, the briefing room used to be the swimming pool where President Kennedy had, oh, let's call it relaxing times.
That's probably the best way to phrase it. It's a dinky little area, and planes do not have unlimited space.
So, in other words, they're picking. Any White House is picking favorites, if you will. They have to. They can't take everybody. All right.
Some people get left behind. Whoa! But we've always been there. Yeah, how's that worked out? There's nothing worse than we've always done it this way, as the argument to prevent change.
So again, all of this wailing and moaning and gnashing of teeth, please.
Now, those of you listening. Please understand, friends. I didn't just figure this out.
Okay, this is not like I'm saying. Oh my goodness, they've been doing bad things. Yeah, yeah. If you want honesty and ethics, stay away from government. Broadly, sadly, for the most part, you won't be surprised or disappointed.
But the point with this is, they want you to forget what they did. They went out of bounds. They used extrajudicial means, meaning not within the process, to do the very things that they're calling out now.
So when they start telling you how upset they are. Why are you upset? You did the same thing. You did it first, and we're finding out about all of it.
So stop being so sanctimonious. Get off the high horse. Start talking about issues. Oh wait a minute! That's why they're making such a big deal out of this.
Because they can't win if they're talking about issues. They don't want to go down the inflation road. Because yes, I'm paying more for gasoline as are you. In order to make the world safe, so that terrorists don't get a nuclear weapon. Yes, I'm paying more in the grocery store.
Because of supply chain issues tied to fuel, yes, that that's that's an uptick, and I'm not thrilled at all. What I really wasn't thrilled about was nine percent inflation during the Biden era, and by the way, that's what's crushing us today—the nine percent that never went down. Once the price goes up, it doesn't go back.
So, all of if you start measuring inflation, and I remember the great economist Steve Moore talked to me on this very radio program one day, and pointed out that when the Trump administration left in twenty twenty one, now keep in mind we'd had COVID for almost a year.
So the Trump administration leaves in January of twenty twenty one, and inflation was at one point six percent. One point six. The Fed Reserve target is always two. This was one point six. How high did it get in the Biden administration?
Nine. Do the math. The Biden administration high point of inflation was roughly six times higher than when Trump 1.0 ended. For those prices to go back down, we'd have to have deflation, and we don't have that. You now have inflation slowed to roughly three percent.
Fluctuates. Not helped by the gas prices, but again, broader, broader purpose, make the world safe. But it's still nothing compared with nine. That's what's crippling us still. It's not this current spike.
It's that we have to live with the poor decisions made during the Biden administration. They don't want to talk about issues, friends, because somebody like me is going to be a wiseacre and point that out. They'd rather have you look over here. Look at the shiny object over here. It's kind of a magician thing, and Obama thinks he's very clever at it, and it worked so he could win election twice.
But oh, look what I'm doing over here. I'm talking about this. Never mind what the facts are. Never mind what I'm doing. You know, don't watch the other hand.
Let's just call it out for what it is.
So again, what have you done for me lately?
Well, this is what they did when they had all the power. This is what they did. If they get the power again, what do you think they'll do? What do you think they'll do if they get the power again? I think this one little sheet of paper I'm holding with the list.
I think that's just the starting point. In the words of the great Al Jolson, "You ain't seen nothing yet." If the Democrats win, you can prevent that. You alone can prevent that. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. Love to hear what you think of these things.
We'll take a short break now, and we'll take your calls as they come in on the other side. Liberty University Studios, the location. Jeff Stein filling in for Todd. He's in Houston. Thanks to the good folks at Patriot Talk nine twenty Patriot Talk nine twenty dot com.
If you want to learn more about the event tonight, this is the Todd Starn Show. Welcome back to the Liberty University studio in the Todd Starn Show. Jeff Stein filling in for Todd today. He's in Houston for the Big Two A event that comes up later today. It is from four until seven.
Patriot Talk nine twenty in Houston. The sponsors of that. And I I went through this whole list of of atrocities in the Obama administration. I told you I had some other material that I want to share with you. I do.
I think we'll do it in hour three, so we give it enough time. Notice all of that stuff was the Obama administration. How about Jack Smith? In the Biden administration, I've got stuff for you on that, and we'll do that in the third hour of the program, just after the top of this hour. Mark Meckler of Convention of States joins us on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line.
But before this hour ends, I want to flag an article that was in the Washington Examiner, published a couple of days ago. Emily Hollis, the reporter, her byline. Democrat-aligned nonprofit group backs conservative spoiler candidates in Iowa and other swing states. I know a lot of you are upset with how rhinos have acted, how Republicans have not supported Trump, and I know that there is a great appeal to make a statement with an independent or a libertarian, so that you can get a message. To the Republicans to start following the president.
I get it, but you're going to elect the Democrat. Is that what you want for the outcome? There may be some of you say yes, but again, look what Democrats do when they're in charge. Here's the story: Principled Patriots Pack. That's the name of the group.
Principled Patriots Pack. It has attracted scrutiny because it's backing third-party candidates in a series of states with competitive Senate races: Iowa, Texas, Alaska, Kansas, Ohio, and Michigan. Principal Patriots is also backing multiple third-party candidates in tight House races nationwide, specifically Colorado and North Carolina.
Now, principal Patriots has been accused of waging a dark money influence campaign for Democrats because it garnered a quarter million dollar donation in September from Building America.
Now, that is a super PAC connected to Rapid Resist Action, which is a Democrat group.
Okay, here is the the bottom line of it all: you've got principal Patriots PAC. Backing third-party candidates in key states, principled Patriots PAC appears to be getting a lot of money from Democrats. In my state of Iowa, we have an open U.S. Senate seat currently held by a Republican. It's a very tight race.
The Democrat is is sponsored by Chuck Schumer. And the principal Patriots pack is supporting the Libertarian in Iowa.
So again, this is in essence Chuck Schumer supporting two different candidates: the Libertarian and the Democrat. Dark money into a third-party spoiler campaign, and again. We're talking about the Senate races in Iowa, Texas, Alaska, Kansas, Ohio, and Michigan. Oh, all right. I I'm I'm railing about something, and Todd Starnes is on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line.
Mister Starnes, happy Tuesday to you, good sir. Jeff, hello from Houston, Texas, and just landed and getting ready for some big political events down here. As you know, we try to we're not only on a book tour, but we're trying to get Tim Paxton and a lot of other great Republicans elected to office down here.
Well, we were just talking about principled Patriots PAC, which is really a Democrat front that is supporting third-party candidates in places like Texas. That's that spoiler effect, and it means that folks need to pay close attention to who's putting messages out.
Well, I think that's a good that's a good point, which is why we really hope our Houston area listeners come out this afternoon. We're going to have a great time at Collectors Firearms. We're going to have a lot of politicians there, also the NRA, Gun Owners of America. We're just going to have a kind of a hootin' andy, as they call it back home. But we certainly hope to see all of our great listeners out this afternoon.

Todd being away allows me to talk to you, Stars Nation today and again tomorrow, and I want to begin this hour of the program hour too by going now directly to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, and it is always a privilege to welcome Mark Meckler.
Mr. Meckler is president and co-founder of Convention of States Action. They're online at conventionofstates dot com. Mr. Meckler, thanks so much for taking the time.
How are you, sir? I'm doing great. I got to tell you, here in Texas, it's always two a Tuesday, and two a Wednesday and Thursday. And well, I'll tell you, you know, I I think about you and I think about Texas, and I look at my home state of Iowa, and there are a lot of folks nationally who would want you to believe that the blue wave is a coming. I'm not sure.
I think that's wishful thinking or an attempt to try to make Republicans at home on November 3rd. What are your thoughts? Look, I think if there's a single word for polling in this era of America, it's garbage. Yeah, it's just wrong. We know it's wrong.
History tells us it's wrong. They've been wrong on Trump every single time in the last midterm. Every swing state ended up between five and nine points off in favor of the Democrats. That's enough to swing every single race in favor of Republicans. And there's a lot more, but that's enough to tell you these polls are wrong, and they're intentionally wrong.
I agree with that. And if you look at these polls, and I don't want to get bogged down in in garbage stuff like this, but in the fine print it tells you the margin of error, and typically the margin of error is three or four points.
Well, when you've got a result that is close in terms of the poll, then you throw in the margin of error. All it tells you is you got to show up and vote because it's too close to stay home. Yeah, they're literally when you've got a race in the margin of error. What the pollsters actually saying? This should be the headline.
Pollsters have no idea what's going to happen. It's up to you. You could use that in a lot of contexts. Pollsters have no idea. I, but I, when I had the opportunity, and when I got the text last night saying, "Could you fill in for Todd?" I thought of you because I had just seen some of these great posts that you've put on the Twitter X machine at Mark Meckler about the stuff going on in Europe.
And I think personal view is for too long we've said, "Well, that's over there. That'll never come here." Well, first of all, it already has. But second of all, I mean. This stuff is game changing in terms of hopefully waking up Americans. Is it not?
Yeah, it can be game changing in this election alone. But I hope it's game changing on a broader scale. Yeah, these countries have wholesale imported the third world and specifically the radical Muslim third world into their countries. And the people who've been imported have nothing to do with their countries, their culture. In fact, they are the antithesis of those things.
They hate those things, and their goal is to tear down and overrun those cultures. And we're watching it live on TV. They're doing it. I have to say, I mean, I really do feel sorry for all those students who are short on crayons that are rioting in the streets and stealing Cartier watches and like. Yeah, this is just student protesting, right?
I mean, it's not organized; it's all organic. Except, do you see any students in any of these events, these protests, at all? This this is highly organized from people from the outside that have infiltrated at the invitation of these host governments. Yeah, and people here in America should understand what's going on. Fox did a great report last night.
They show that there are officially fifty-four groups, quote-unquote, leading this protest. Of the fifty-four, eighteen are allegedly student groups. That doesn't mean they don't have international contacts, or funding, or influence. But of the fifty-four, thirty-six of them are actually, you know, the adults in the room. And this is an international movement.
If you really want to know what's going on and you want to dive deep, one of my favorite follows on X is Data Republican. She's got all the receipts on this. She's done the deep dive on the data. This is an international movement intended to destroy the Western world. And because we have.
Look the other way to some degree, or been too naive, or, in the case of some on the far left, encouraging it. We've invited them in here, Mark Meckler, no different than the French did, and the folks here are just, I assume, waiting for their orders or the right time to do the same darn thing. Yeah, I agree, and so what you see is a combination that the two main leading factions here, what I would call the Islamos. It's in the communist, so it's an Islamic communist movement. This is a takeover that's been done in other countries.
If you want to see how this plays out, the best place to look if you want to see what it looks like is look at what happened in Iran. In Iran, you had a combination of the Islamists and the Marxists. They got together, they threw out the Shah, they took over the country, and then immediately the Islamists killed the Marxists and imposed Sharia law. And that's the model for this all over the world. Mark Meckler is our guest.
Mr. Meckler is president and co-founder of Convention of States Action. They're online conventionofstates dot com. These days, he's also CEO of Just the Network. That's tied to John Solomon and Just the News.
Mr. Meckler joins us on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker Line on the Todd Stern Show. Jeff Stein filling in for Todd today. You've now got the French leadership, quote unquote, saying, "Yeah, maybe we should step aside. We really missed the boat on this.
Sorry." I mean, they're a little late to the party. Is there a way that they can stem the tide?
Some of these European nations, and is there a way we can stem the tide here?
Well, look, I mean, at this point, it's very difficult for them to stem the tide. I think it would require major state-sponsored violence, and I don't mean to sound blunt. Or graphics people, but it will require the killing of people in the streets, and I know that sounds hard core, and I intend to say it exactly like it sounds. But I believe that looting should be—they should be able to shoot looters on site. There's no other way to stop that because.
People have to understand when you live in a society governed by the rule of law, that requires mostly voluntary compliance. And what I mean by that is, people are not opportunists; they don't just go break the law because they think they won't get caught. They choose not to break the law. And the way that you create that situation in a society that's become lawless is you just make it a capital offense to be looting. And so, if you're out there and you're looting, I don't think the police officer should have to ask you any questions.
And I actually think we want to stop this in the United States, America, especially in red states. We'll never get this in blue states, but we have to make it legal, and we have to make it policy in our states that looters get shot. If you think about, and I'm thinking particularly about American business owners, Mr. McClure, and I'm thinking about some of these supposedly peaceful protests post George Floyd back in 2020. These were folks who were.
They put all of their money into their businesses, and in in just a few moments, everything they had worked for to serve their local community was taken from them, looted, burned, et cetera. For no cause other than these out-of-town agitators trying to make a point. I feel for those folks, and if law enforcement is not there to back them up, the business owners. How do you possibly expect businesses to flourish, especially in high-crime areas that have been proven to be difficult to pencil out from a balance sheet standpoint to begin with? Yeah, I don't think you can.
I don't think most people understand if they've never been a small business owner. The margins are tight. You don't make a lot of money. You put everything into it, heart and soul, and all your bank accounts, and you work late at night and early in the morning. And then that goes up in flames, or it goes off in the hands of looters.
You lose everything, and you don't just lose the business. You don't just lose the money. You lose the heart to do it again. You only have to go to Minneapolis. I was there not too long ago, and drive through the areas where the worst George Floyd riots, where there are still boarded up stores.
There's businesses that went away. By the way, most of them minority owned businesses that went away and never came back. And so, I think we need to take that very seriously, and we need to be ready to stand against it very strongly. You'll note, by the way, that none of that took place in Texas, and I don't mean that to brag on Texas. I just mean We are heavily armed people here in Texas, and most people in Texas, despite the liberal leanings of Austin and places like that, most people would simply not tolerate that kind of behavior.
Well, and to make a broader point even stronger, you've got somebody who's clearly disturbed who goes and shoots up an elementary school in Oregon, and is only stopped from doing so by what? A parent who had a gun, a good guy with a gun, stopped a bad guy with a gun. Seems to me, guns are not the problem. Yeah. By the way, important to note that that good guy with a gun, according to law in Oregon right now, is a criminal because they that school district and that jurisdiction banned guns on campuses.
And there's no exception, by the way. If there's a shooting going on on campus, it doesn't allow you to bring your gun onto campus. Not allowed to do what he did. I I hope, pray they won't prosecute him. I can tell you, in a place like California, they probably would.
Mark Meckler is our guest, president, co-founder, convention of states action conventionofstates dot com. I jumped right into the conversation without allowing you to remind people. Cos action. Who are you, folks, and what do you do? We're using Article Five of the U.S.
Constitution to call a convention of states to propose amendments to restrain federal tyranny, and you do that by getting 34 states to want to call that convention. They pass resolutions in the states saying they want it. They gather, and the goal is to propose amendments to restrain federal tyranny. If you're watching this election right now, and you don't think that the federal government's out of control. I I don't know what to tell you.
If you don't think the idea of the DSA taking over Congress is bad, I don't know what to tell you. And by the way, whatever happens in this election, and I hope and pray, and I'm working for the Republicans to retain power. If we lose the house, if we lose the Senate, if we lose both, I mean, honestly, all bets are off. I don't know what they're going to do. They won't impeach President Trump.
They won't convict him, but they will impeach him. They'll impeach any Supreme Court nomination. We, the people, have to take the power back. The only way to do that is to impose term limits, impose a balanced budget amendment, take power away from DC. You can only do that by calling a convention of states.
Folks who are interested can go to conventionofstates.com. Mark Meckler, it's always a great conversation. I appreciate your time. Keep up the great efforts. I don't have to tell you that you're going to do it.
It's in your blood. Absolutely. Hey, thanks for filling in and talking about Texas today. We always like talking about Texas too.
Well, it's a pretty good place to be. Thank you, sir. Take good care. God bless. Mark Meckler is with Convention of States Action.
He is president and co-founder conventionofstates dot com, and he joined us on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. Follow him on the Twitter X machine at Mark Meckler. You can follow me there at Iowa Politics nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. That's how you can join this coast to coast conversation from the Liberty University studio, Jeff. In for Todd.
More after this on the Todd Starin Show. Welcome back to the Liberty University Studio and the Todd Starn Show. Jeff Stein filling in for Todd today. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. That's how you can join this coast to coast conversation just after the bottom of the hour.
The chief political strategist of this radio program, Josh Jones, will be along to talk about the news of the day. Again, we'll take your calls in and. Around at nine oh one two six zero five nine two six.
Now during this last conversation we had in the last segment with Mark Meckler, who's so sharp on on so many aspects of these things, we were talking about polling in the margin of error, and I'm sure you've heard about. I think it's been mentioned on the program.
So the person on CNN who waves his arms and hits touch screens and talks about polls, I don't know him by name. You probably do, but in any case, the left absolutely had a panic attack when he pointed out quite accurately that if there is an underreporting of Republicans by only three percent, all right, let me take a step back. In polling, as Mark Meckler mentioned. The polls tend to underreport Republican support. Often, that's because of perhaps it's a deliberate approach.
Perhaps Republicans don't want to talk to a pollster. Perhaps Republicans mess around with pollsters. Could be any of those things. But the bottom line is, in these recent elections, you see that the polling in advance under. Reports Republican support by about five percent.
All right.
Well, this piece on CNN not long ago said if you assume that the underreporting is even three percent, just three percent, that's enough in all of the key districts to guarantee a Republican majority, albeit small, in both the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate.
So for all this talk about blue wave, a blue tsunami, the red states are turning blue. All of this, okay. First of all, these are people with an agenda.
So why are you listening to them? I mean, you can listen to them, but don't don't take it to heart. But the bottom line is, it is too close. And why are they saying it's going to be a blue wave?
So that maybe you say, ah, it's not worth voting. I'm depressed. The bottom line is, if you actually use their numbers, use the polling done by those who have a blue agenda, and if you conservatively look at a three percent under report as opposed to five, the Republicans hold the House and the Senate.
So all of this, in addition to what Mr. Meckler said, all of this means you just have to show up and bring a friend or five. This is not one of these where it is going to be decided in advance, except by people who have a narrative and are trying to make sure that their dream becomes reality by steering you wrong.
Okay, so the bottom line is. Anybody who tells you how this is going to turn out is either delusional, frankly, wrong, or lying to you for their own purposes. Nobody knows how this is going to turn out. Heaven forbid we may actually have to wait and and and hear the votes be counted on election night. Wouldn't that be a radical change?
But the bottom line is. For all of those who say it's lost, it's lost, and I keep seeing people, you know, unnamed Republicans are worried. Just show up, just show up, and vote your heart, your mind, and your conscience. Because even the numbers from those on the left suggest, in a fair fight, the Republicans will hold. And in a midterm election, that is no small undertaking.
And in an election where, frankly, the Senate has done everything to undermine this president, and I don't mean to go off on an anti-John Thune rant, but okay, I got a minute. Why not? Why didn't he call a recess so that President Trump could get recess appointments through? I mean, either get the people approved. Or do the same thing you yourself and other leaders, Republican and Democrat, have done in the past, and that's call a recess when you leave town for six weeks because that then allows the appointments to take place.
Why is John Thune blocking the most elemental part of the president's agenda, appointments? Never mind all the rest of the stuff that they're not doing. This is just like 2018, where the House did an awful lot of things, the Senate did nothing, and voters said, "Apox and all your houses." Well, don't let that happen. The numbers suggest it'll be okay if you just show up and bring a friend or five. Josh Jones joins us after this break from the Liberty University studio.
Jeff Stein in for Todd. This is the Todd Starin Show. Welcome back to the Liberty University Studio and the Todd Starn Show. Jeff Stein filling in for Todd today. Get it signed. Get a picture. Todd Starnes will be there in Houston. For Two A Tuesday at Collectors Firearms. Let's go now to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, and let's talk strategy with the official chief political strategist of this program.
He's Josh Jones, Mr. Jones. Jeff Stein in for Todd. That title must bring a hefty paycheck, doesn't it? Hi Jeff, how are you?
I appreciate it. I'm doing well. What's what's the biggest? I have to assume that someone in your line of work looks at all the silly season stuff and just shakes his head. What is the thing that today you're looking at as being the the most hypocritical or the craziest thing that somebody's trying to peddle right now?
I mean, look—it's what some of these Democrat candidates and these swing states are trying to paint themselves as. I mean, if you look at Michigan, for example, if Abdul said, you know, he is this self-described socialist—he won't call himself one—but I mean, if you read his policies, he's a socialist supported by AOC, Bernie Sanders, and all these other people that are on the far left of the Democratic Party. And then he's—you know—if you watch his TV ads or go to any event, do we think he's the most Moderate guy in the world, so I think I mean it's typical of the Democrat candidates to do this to try and you know win over those moderate swing voters as they get closer to the election. But I mean that's what people hopefully are tuning into, particularly in some of these swing states. In the last half hour, we spoke with Mark Meckler, a convention of states, and we were talking about the unrest overseas.
Where these governments invited folks in, in essence, to lead an insurrection, we've done the same thing here. Michigan is ground zero for that. We can't be very surprised when, when we've laid the foundation, to lead candidates like this to win a major party nomination. You're right. I mean, look about getting into the weeds on the policy side of it all, you know, as it relates to immigration.
I think Western Europe is a great example of how, you know, the path the Democrats get what they want—that's the path we're going down.
So, I think that, you know, regardless if you're a Republican and you're not super enthusiastic about going out the vote this November, keep in mind going back just a couple years ago when Biden was president, or if you look at Western Europe right now with some of these. No far left leaders. Things could be a lot worse.
So if you know you're not enthusiastic, remember at the end of the day, these Democrats truly do want to fundamentally rewrite the American Constitution and how our government works. That's one of the tricky things, is it not, for a political strategist to get a voting public excited, mobilized when they may be a little lukewarm about the choice on their side. I mean, you you hate to go to the fear approach, but it's pretty it's pretty evident. I mean, this is this is better than any October surprise for domestic politics, is it not? To be able to say, you see that that's what's coming here if you don't get off your tail and vote.
Exactly, and look, me and Todd talk about this all the time. The time for Republicans to air our grievances against each other is during the primary. Yeah, you know, get out all your knives, get out all your complaints, and support whoever you want in the primaries. But whenever that Republican nominee is selected, you have to rally around them. Whether you know you love them or you're indifferent towards them, you have to get out and vote for them in November and get caught next election cycle.
You don't like that Republican? Great, you can fight them in the primary, and they're like.
Somebody else, but right now there's too much on the line to let these democratic socialists take over our country and get a foothold in Congress. Josh Jones is our guest on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line on the Todd Stern Show. I mentioned at the end of the last hour, this thing called Principal Patriots PAC that, by name, seems pretty neutral, but it's supporting third-party libertarian independent candidates in these very close swing states. But the money's coming from the left side of the political ledger. You just got to be really careful when the third party, and I mean, we've got libertarians in my state of Iowa who.
Are running. They're nice people. They're they're fine individuals, but now some of the money is coming from anti Republican causes. That requires the the voter to be paying very close attention to messaging. You're right.
I mean, there's a lot of dark money in politics, all through. We all say it all the time, and it's the typical Democrat playbook. Not only all through, they're going to try and run towards the middle and play as a moderate candidate, but they're also going to try and mislead voters in the voting. You know, those Republicans that they don't think they could win over, they'll try and push them to vote for another Republican or another conservative candidate to split the vote, and that's that George Soros dark money that's being you know coming out of. You know California, New York, trying to mislead voters.
Well, and once again, and I've said it for years that in a primary, you run to the left if you're a Democrat, you run to the right if you're a Republican, and then you sprint to the middle for the general election. But the difference to me, Josh Jones, is that these days the extreme on the left bears no resemblance to what the extreme on the left used to be. And so it's it's not like you look at two candidates, Democrat and Republican, and say, "Wow, they're pretty close." I mean, they've never been further apart with ramifications or implications for the the survival of our representative democracy. You're right. I mean, the Democratic Socialists of America, in their own platform, their own words, they want to abolish the presidency, they want to abolish the Senate, and abolish the Supreme Court.
I mean, these people fundamentally hate our country and what it stands for, and they're going to rewrite the playbook if they win.
So, my message to you know Republican voters, as we close in on these last two weeks, I've said it before: is look, you may not most, you may not be the most enthusiastic person about going. To vote this November, but the stakes are too high to stay home. You, on vote, and we'll no go from there. The stakes are just too high. Two weeks from today, election day and early voting started all over the place, and that's what makes this sort of different than than it was generations ago.
Because there's not this last weekend push per se. You've got to have a three and four week run up. But this is an interesting needle to thread for some candidates. I think where you need the Trump voters, who may not be rank and file Republicans, they're Trumpicans, and that's not a derogatory phrase. They're there for him.
That's why he's on the trail over and over. But you need the. Other Republicans, for lack of a better term, but any more, you need a healthy portion of independents. And so, again, from a messaging standpoint, that's tricky for some candidates, is it not? You're right.
I mean. The Republican Party and the conservative side of the aisle in our country is a big tent. There's a lot of different factions of the party that have a lot of different opinions about varying things, and it is you know a little bit of a tightrope act to balance enough to you know appeal to most of those factions. They get them to come out to vote for you. That's why I always say to people, "Look, and it's a." The boiled down essence of a quote from Reagan: If someone you agree with 80 of the time is still your ally, you may not agree with one Republican 100 of the time, but you're going to agree with them a lot more than you are the Democrats.
So someone that's you know on your side 80 of the time is still your ally versus the Democrat who's on your side maybe five percent of the time.
Well, and it's very easy to see because when they tell you who you are, who they are, you have to believe them, and so you've got these people, who espouse these views. We know what that side's going to do if they get elected, and it is not good for the Trump agenda. At one level, it's not good for the future of America. At another, is this starting to resonate as you talk to people around the country? In other words, the folks who are not real excited about certain candidates are they starting to figure out?
Okay, I need to come home. I need to come home hard and fast, and bring friends with me. I think so. I mean, it's typical, you know, leading up to the last couple weeks of the election, people start tuning back in and heading back to their home camps and going, "Wait a second," because you know this is not your grandpa's Democratic Party anymore. This is the new Socialist Party of America calling themselves the Democratic Party.
And if they you know get a big win this November, they're going to get a foothold in Congress. Hakeem Jeffries and the Democrat leaders are just going to bend to the far left of their party, and our country is going to be much worse.
Software, so I think people are tuning back in, and I think the polls are discounting Republicans.
So don't be discouraged. Go out and vote. It's going to be close. These are going to be toss-up elections.
So every vote matters here. I found interesting. James Carville, I believe, was on a podcast or something with Bill Kristol and made the comment: he would rather have the Republicans win the House by a few seats, as opposed to the Democrats winning the House by a few seats, because if the Democrats won, then Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker would be stymied by the socialists. I find that that's interesting. Where he's basically saying, "I'd rather have the Republicans win because good luck trying to keep you know herd all of those cats, as opposed to the Democrats, where again they'll be held hostage, similar to some of the problems Mike Johnson has had." Exactly.
I mean, you're right. If these Democrat socialists win, they're races, which a lot of them are running in deep blue states, so they will, and then they get a majority in the House of Representatives. Huckins Jeffries is not going to be able to stand up to the left wing of his party, and they're going to keep marching down this socialist path, and it's going to send our country even into a more of a partisan divide than we're currently in.
So me and Carville don't agree on a lot, but we agree on this one. I'd much rather Republicans win the House than the Democrats.
Well, and and again to make your earlier point, you hear people who say, "Well, you know what? Maybe maybe we should lose. That'll show them." The stakes are higher now than in the past when it was a much more polite sort of thing. You know, Republicans, Democrats, there were differences, but it wasn't like what we hear now. I don't think you can go with the old philosophy of, "Well, you know, maybe it'll teach us a lesson if we lose an election." If you lose the election, there you may never have another chance.
You're right. I mean, this is again. I've said it a bunch. I'll keep saying it up until the election. And it's not just because I know a partisan on one side of the aisle.
It's the genuine truth. If the Democrats win this November, they're going to fundamentally rewrite how politics works in this country, and it's going to be a green light for socialists all over the world. Frankly, but obviously here in America, they continue running to the left, and more and more young people are going to be fooled into going under that side of the aisle.
So Republicans have to get out and vote this November. Call your friends if they're Republicans. Call your friends and get them to come vote this November, and so we can keep our Republican majorities in Congress. All right, exit question for Josh Jones. All right, so what are you watching?
That we all need to pay attention to to see how things go. It's not a national election, although I think those on the left would love it to be, because then they can be superficial on things. But is there something you're watching or looking to see how voters respond to personal appearances, etc.?
Something we should be watching in this next week. Yeah, I mean, there's a couple of different things. Number one is you want to watch where the president's going. To your point, there's a lot of Trump Republicans who are truly part of the party for him, and he's out in the campaign trail, obviously.
So you want to pitch into the polls in those districts and states to see if that has a bump, and if you know the president coming there physically and being on the campaign trail with these candidates gets those people out to vote. I think the other obvious one that we'll be watching this year is where Hispanics land. This November, because the banx in twenty twenty four pushed Trump over the finish line, gave him a big victory, and there's a question of do they stay with Trump and the Republicans? Do they go back to the middle? Do they go back to the Democrats?
That's going to be a big question because that's the coalition that wins for Republicans.
So we need to pay attention to where they fall this November. Smart stuff as always, Josh Jones. Thanks so much for the time. You brought your A game, even though it's the B team host today. I appreciate it, and look forward to talking again.

So it's my privilege to be here today and tomorrow, and hope you stay along, and hope you call in and engage in some conversation.
So at the beginning of hour one, I talked about this: "What have you done for me lately?" Society. Right, we we tend to forget the bad things from the past. I used to say, I don't say it now because it's too serious. But we've got an open seat for governor in my home state of Iowa, and the Democrat may very well win for a whole variety of reasons. But you know, my flip comment has been, well, you know, about every twelve or sixteen years, Iowa needs to elect a Democrat to something like that, so we remember why we don't elect Democrats.
But the Democrats of the past are not the Democrats now, and even if it's a somewhat moderate Democrat, they're going to be beholden to the socialist elements of the party going forward. You see how those radical, extreme elements are holding the party hostage, and the traditional folks just don't know what to do except they try to play along, and that's never going to work.
So it makes a difference, and these Democrats want you to think. That all the bad things in the world happened with Republicans, and they were the innocent folks. They're just the folks for the people.
Well, in hour one, and if you missed it, go to the Toddcast podcast. It'll be posted later today at toddstarns dot com. Part of the Salem Podcast Network. Can listen as we went through. The pearl clutcher in chief, former President Barack Hussein Barry Obama, on the Twitter X machine, trying to defend Elon Omar and saying that no government should identify citizens and target them.
Based upon their political views, and then in the first hour, we gave you a very long list of when the Obama administration did just that.
Well, guess what? The Biden administration did it too. Shortly before the end of September, before the Senate left for the October pre-election break. On my Iowa radio program, I spoke with U.S. Senator Charles Grassley.
Senator Grassley, of course, the chair of the Judiciary Committee, and just before that, they left town. They had that hearing where Jack Smith was there, and I asked Senator Grassley to comment. On what came out at that hearing, and to also explain to the audience why we should care about what they did in the past. This is a portion of that conversation, which was on my station KXEL in Iowa a couple of weeks ago. Listen to this, please.
Pretty darn big because it shows the power of government when you weaponize the FBI and the Justice Department. To put in ex-president, now president, or let's say he was citizen Trump then, to put him in jail, in prison, so he couldn't ever run for president again.
Now a lot of people say Watergate was bad, but Watergate I think was an example of the private sector scheming things, not the entire federal government.
So in this case, the FBI set a stage that made it possible for Jack Smith to be appointed special consul. And then he went about not only going after Trump, but he went after fifty journalists with subpoenas. He went after more than several hundred. Republican organizations, even the cell phones of forty-four members of Congress.
So you can see how sweeping his fishing expedition was, and you could easily conclude that it wasn't only to hurt Trump; it was to hurt all of the Republican machinery. By the way, we exposed and put in the record. Documents that even the government didn't know I had, and for sure Jack Smith didn't. I know I had. When I say documents, I mean emails and letters and sorts of communications that proved all this stuff that I'm telling you about.
And the reason we had them and the government didn't know I had it is because. Of the thoroughness of our work, but we work with whistleblowers, and we got that most that information from whistleblowers. But government documents. What assurances might we have that there is a deterrent effect to prevent something similar from happening to people in office in government, private citizens down the road?
Well, for the citizens that would ask me. This is all history. Why are you worried about it? We want to expose all this stuff so it'll never happen to anybody in the future, including Joe, Jane Doe, and Jim Smith here at the grassroots of Iowa. By the way, I some of the stuff that was subpoenaed was bank records, people making contributions of even small amounts of money.
To the Trump organization, the Trump campaign, and and so forty seven hundred Americans had their bank records subpoenaed, and of those forty seven hundred, there were forty two Iowans that had their bank records checked. And why would Smith need bank records of forty two Iowans? But when you get something in the government files, so the FBI is going to have the names and the signatures, and the addresses and the routing numbers and and where the bank accounts are of 42 Iowans and 4,700 Americans. That's an invasion of privacy. My conversation with U.S.
Senator Charles Grassley a couple of weeks ago here on my program in Iowa.
Well, since that time, we know it's even worse. A memo that Senator Grassley has now distributed shows that Jack Smith's office received data on nearly seven hundred thousand Americans. Names, addresses, voter registration records, employment information, donor histories—they have the list of people who bought a MAGA hat. Again, hundreds of thousands of documents. Why?
It's clearly intimidation. This was under the guise of an investigation.
So, in other words, when Democrats want to go after their political enemies, they include every one of you. And they said the quiet part out loud, Senator Slotkin, saying, "Well, you know, we want to discourage people from going to be an intern at the White House, or you know, the people who work there. We're going to target you." I mean, are you kidding me? This is absolutely ridiculous. And again, it's an example of all the atrocities that they claim the Trump world is doing.
They're only pointing those out so that you'll pay attention and not notice that they did a thousand times worse. And did it first. That doesn't mean there should be retribution. What I'm saying is, they did it. They started it.
They perfected the art of fooling judges and taking warrants to friendly judges. We've already seen how the judiciary has acted to thwart Mr. Trump's political agenda in this term. Six hundred thirty-nine to seven hundred thousand. People on a fishing expedition, and then it got more desperate because as the scheme started to unravel and they were still in charge, they started doubling down.
Well, what do you think is going to happen if they get back in? What do you think is already happening because of moles within the deep state? I'm under no illusion that Mr. Trump has a government full of people who are neutral, much less those who support him. There are plenty in there who work against him.
What do you think is going to happen if you sit home and don't vote? If you don't encourage friends to vote? And don't vote to support his agenda. What do you think is going to happen? They have shown us who they are, and that quick little conversation with Senator Grassley is just the tip of the iceberg.
As we've learned earlier this week with this additional memo.
So again, if you're not fired up to vote for the Republican, because you just don't think they've done enough. That's your alternative, right there. You stay home, or heaven forbid, you cross over. That's what's going to happen. Again, only worse because they're mad.
The only way to stop it is to participate in the process. I have people who call me all the time after I do an interview.
Well, yeah, that's all. That's great information, but what can I do? Here's what you do: you go vote, and you bring a friend or six. I said five last hour. I've changed my mind.
Friend or six, and becoming involved. The most fundamental thing you can do is turn out and vote. And if you don't in two weeks, this is what's going to happen. It's not like it used to be. We may not survive another change.
Literally. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. We'll take your calls after this break from the Liberty University studio. Jeff Stein filling in for Todd. Thanks for being along on the Todd Stein Show.
And we welcome you back to the Liberty University Studio and this Tuesday edition of the Todd Starn Show. Jeff Stein filling in for Todd today. There'll be a live broadcast on the Houston station.
Book signing and get your copy. Purchase a copy of the Golden. Age, how Trump saved America, and there's free food, free drink, firearm giveaway as well, and that's four till seven in Houston at Collectors Firearms. Free food, free drink, free radio with Todd Starnes and Patriot Talk nine twenty a.m. in Houston. That's where Todd is today. He'll be making his way back to the home base. In Memphis tomorrow, my pleasure to fill in tomorrow as well.
Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. Mary Walter joins us just after the bottom of the hour, and we've been talking today about how soon they forget. And we talked in the first hour about all the things that the Obama administration did to punish political opponents, and we just talked about Jack Smith and everything that's coming out. About what the Biden administration did, that's what we're facing. If you don't get out and take care of business by voting, and something that came up here in my home state, and I am sure many of you listening across the heartland, and to me, by the way, heartland is not just geographical; it's sort of a state of mind.
But for those of you in agriculture, In the farm economy, this is harvest time for many.
Now, usually here in my home state, the Free State of Iowa, we'd be pretty much wrapping up harvest by the twentieth of October. But we had record rainfall in September, and a couple of other dates earlier this month where many areas of the state got an inch, inch and a half of rain in one day.
Well, that put people way behind.
So we are way behind, couple of weeks behind the five-year average in harvesting soybeans, but even more so corn. Beans have been coming out of the field, corn not as much.
So yesterday, the Secretary of State, who handles elections, and the Secretary of Agriculture held a news conference to say to the farming community. Don't miss out on your chance to vote because you're busy in the fields. Because again, normally, normally by election day, the the crops have been harvested. It's in the bins, and we're starting to see whether it's got the economic impact that we hope that it will. But this year, you could find people out there trying to take advantage of a day of good weather to actually do the harvest by November third.
And because early voting has begun, early in person voting, they were encouraging folks make a plan.
Now, I am one of those who shows up on election day. I don't care when my radio show airs. I don't care if I'm doing live broadcasts on TV and radio afterwards or whatever. I go and I go to the city hall, and that's where we vote on election day. And they give me a nice little I voted sticker.
It's just something about the day. I used to do it, you know, go vote and go have have breakfast. You know, I mean, that's America. You go vote on election day, but that doesn't work for everybody, and especially now if you're one of those who goes out and votes on election day, and now because of the agriculture economy and a late harvest, depending on where you're at, you may have to take advantage of every nice weather day. They're saying, you know.
Maybe you should go vote in person early to make sure you don't miss out. I mean, we totally understand when your livelihood for the year depends on harvesting when you can get in the field.
Well, then you need to have the backup for when you might be busy on election day. I had not even thought about that.
So, if you're involved in the ag community and you've got a late harvest, And you might want to look at the calendar in the next time there's a rainy day, or the next time you're headed into town for something else. Go ahead and vote. Get it taken care of. Get it in the bank, so we don't have to worry about you sitting on the sidelines. Mary Walter joins us after the bottom of the hour from the Liberty University studio.
Jeff Stein, in for Todd. Thanks for being along on the Todd Darn Show. Welcome back to the Liberty University Studio and the Todd Starn Show. Jeff Stein filling in for Todd today. Todd is in Houston for a great event sponsored by Patriot Talk 920 AM.
It's Two A Tuesday today at Collectors Firearms in Houston, four until seven. Free radio, free food, free drink.
Somebody's going to walk away with a Walther nine millimeter as well.
So we get free firearms, and you can purchase your copy of the Golden Age: How Trump Saved America, and get it signed by Todd Starnes. Go to PatriotTalk nine twenty dot com, the event section for more information.
So, who has it better than Todd Starnes? Nobody. But it's a close second for me because not only do I get to fill in here, I get to talk with Mary Walter, who joins us now on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. It's a Tuesday, that means Mary Walter Radio takes flight at 7:15 Eastern. Mary, how are you?
I'm good, Jeff. What a lovely treat to be on with you. I don't believe we've ever spoken before, have we?
Well, your luck ran out, didn't it, sister? No, you're making my day. Don't blow it. Seven fifteen Eastern, six fifteen out here in God's country. The rest of you do your own math.
And where can we find Mary Walter Radio tonight? How do we see that tonight? It's live on Rumble, YouTube, and Getter, and you can ask the guest questions and leave comments, etc. And so we are doing politics tonight. It's not always political.
Last week we had someone who had been on a humanitarian medical mission to Ghana. And shared pictures and and things like that, and we learned all about the difference between the private hospital in Ghana and the state run hospital in Ghana.
So be careful what you wish for.
So it's not always political, but that's tonight, seven fifteen p.m. Eastern time on Rumble, YouTube, and Getter, and then the audio is on Apple Podcast, Spotify, and Spreaker.
So check it out. Thank you, Jeff. All right, I'm leaving now. I got my plug in. I'm gone.
Yeah, you're done. See ya. Bye. Go get coffee. Who's the guest tonight?
Um. Oh God, I'm totally blanking. He's Breitbart News. Um. I'll I'll figure it out.
Now I'm embarrassed because I did. You should have left. Yeah, should have left. I. That's my fault because you're you're in exit mode.
Of of all the crazy stuff that we're hearing these days, and all of the hypocrisy and all of the spin. What's the most annoying over the past few days for you? As you sit there and you say, "Oh, come on now." If we resorted to this, what I mean, what's really at the top of the you got to be kidding list? And first of all, I remembered it's Theo Wold. He's a former right attorney, state attorney general.
So, is yeah, and was in the Trump administration. Oh, hit my microphone! Yeah, that's not a good thing. Did you hit the microphone and unplug it? No, I hit it by accident, and your system automatically um mutes it.
I didn't realize that. I didn't automatically took control of my microphone. You know, you know this. This is going to be a great segment when we do it for real and not in rehearsal. This is going to be great when we do it live.
But what's what's at the top of you got? All right.
So here's the thing. You ask a question like, and I have to tell you, like every day it's something else, right? Like every day there's something. Like I thought the candidate with the non. Tattoo was pretty much going to be the height of ridiculous, right?
Yeah. And every day there is something else. Alyssa Slocum.
Now I don't know if this is bad or if it's good, but you've got Alyssa Slocum coming out and basically. Parroting Mussolini and fascist comments, like we're going to hunt you down and we're going to make your life miserable. She didn't come out and say like Mussolini, we're going to hunt you down and off you. She just said that you know we're going to bury you in legal fees and make your life hell and not worth living if you dare to come out of college and work for this administration.
So I guess that's a good thing that at least they're not pretending not to be fascists anymore.
So I'm not quite sure how to take it.
Well, they're they're saying the quiet part out loud, which either means that they are so confident. In their their own abilities to know more than the rest of us, that that they feel secure, it is rather quaint, though, to think. Oh, the Nazi tattoo guy—that's the worst we're going to get.
Well, how innocent and quaint of us! Because now you've got his replacement up there in Maine, who has familial relations, takes family reunions to a different degree, and and the Michigan stuff. I mean, did did I see where there was a clip from when Mr. El Sayed ran for governor, where he said, "My parents liked Paula Abdul's music, and that's why they gave me the name Abdul." I did not see that, but well, could you please tag me on that because I will live to see that, please. I believe I saw that, and and and then he couldn't explain why his brother was named Osama or something.
I, you know, you can't believe everything you see on the interwebs, but I mean, the the concept of Barack Obama going up there to say, "Go ahead and vote for this guy; he's one of me." That's the fundamental change in America. He talked about in twenty oh eight, is it? Not marry, a hundred percent, absolutely. And I think he's so pleased with himself because the takeover accelerated much quicker than he ever thought it would. You know, faster than Barack Obama's wildest dreams.
But here's the thing: he's campaigning with the guy who put his sister-in-law on a terror watch list. Make it make sense.
Well, you know where you stand depends on where you sit today. I guess I I would love to see someone say, "Mr. President," who I've now dubbed the Pearl Clutter in Chief because of his protestations about Elon Omar, given what he did in office, Obama. But yeah, I mean, how how's that conversation go, Mr. President?
Why did you put the candidate you support's sister on the watch list? Discuss. Yeah, well, unfortunately, Jeff, you know the mainstream media, the government, basically the government-run media is not going to ask the hard questions. And it's interesting; they do attempt to ask El Saeed a couple of hard questions, but El Saeed will go, "Well, wait a minute. Let me ask you," and then he just deflects by asking a different question, and then gets the person to respond, and off he goes.
It's brilliant, and he's very good at it. But I, I. I find it hard to believe that all of the electorate is brainless. I think there are is a large chunk of the electorate that operates on emotion, and it's whatever feels right is right. Whatever makes me feel good about my choices and my viewpoints, that's what's right because they have the emotional equivalent of an eight year old.
Right? That's just how they operate. But there, there is a segment that is out there and says, "Wait a minute, that guy didn't answer the question." And he never answers the questions, the hard questions. He still hasn't answered. What's what's a bigger threat to the United States?
What was it, Egypt or Iran? Was it Iran or Israel? Right or Israel, and and he couldn't answer the. He still has not answered that question. Refuses to answer that question.
I do give the media some props for asking him somewhat difficult questions. I mean, in all honesty, they probably thought it was a softball question because who would say Iran? Everyone would say, "Well, you know," I mean, everyone would say Iran. Nobody would say Israel's the bigger threat. But he can't.
He can't because of his base, and so they kind of in. Advertently, I think put him in a little bit of a corner, and now he's living there.
So I think his act is running old for a lot of people, but I guess we'll have to wait and see. And that's a great point, as always made by Mary Walter. Don't forget Mary Walter Radio tonight, seven fifteen Eastern. She joins us on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line on the Todd Starn Show. Jeff Stein filling in.
When you see El Said and he does that routine, the indignant, "How dare you ask? I'm going to ask you a question." Well, that again, you know, when when a politician tries to turn that on a questioner, and he usually does it just with people in the audience who aren't expecting it. But sometimes, and I'm sure you've had this as a journalist, you ask a question, and then they try to say, "Well, what would you have done?" You know, the response is, "Hey, I'm not the run." One running for office here, Skippy.
So you know, I think he's—he comes across. You call him Skippy? No, I would if I had the opportunity. I don't know. I maybe I say too much out loud that I should keep inside.
But you know, it's or or the ones who say that's a very good question. I have been known to say, "Thank you." I ask them for a living. I mean, get on with the answer. We don't need the stalling. But he has no answer because, again.
When and he's not the only one, but when you throw up the "How dare you challenge me? You must be racist," is that wearing thin among most of the heartland of America, the the good old average folks who are just waking up to an election two weeks before? I think the majority of Americans, you know, are just like, okay, I'm racist, I'm misogynist, I'm Islamophobic, I'm homophobic. I get it. Let's move on.
I think there's some that still recoil at that. At that, you know, Alyssa Slavin said that she went full on fascist, and people are criticizing her, and and people are pointing it out because she's a woman.
So that means you're a misogynist because you're only going after her for that comment because she's a woman. And I'm like, no, I'm going after you for that comment because you're a communist or fascist with your toe dipping into communism. That's why.
So they they do use it, but you're right. The excuses when eventually people get tired of hearing the excuse over and over again, which is why I think you're starting to see pushback again against men and women sports. Right? People aren't afraid of being called homophobic anymore. They're like, yeah, you're right.
Oh well. My life doesn't change. Yeah, tough being me. What What do you think of this now? You've got.
I I hate talking about the WNBA, but I will for a moment. It's subsidized by the NBA.
Now all of a sudden, it's getting some popularity. There is a rule. The WNBA has very few rules, including what the W stands for. But they have a rule that says you must stand for the national anthem.
So they're having the finals, and both teams walk off the court twice, as I understand, to not have to be there for the national anthem. I, you know, get out of your own way.
So I have I have mixed feelings about this.
Okay, I do honestly believe that the WNBA is trying to commit suicide. I think they're bored. I I think that they're realizing it's not going to go anywhere, and the powers that be that started this whole thing are like, wow, this turned out to be a super bad idea, and so how can we kill it? Right. That that's that's one of the things I have in the back of my brain because they can't make it without the NBA.
So that's the and they have Caitlin Clark and and Soapy Cunningham, who are draws, and so they just get beaten up because they're white and straight, right?
So they're constantly getting beaten up, and it's not a good look. But here's the thing: how sad is it that you would have to force them to come back on to the court? Part of me says, "No, show your true colors. Show us who you are. Walk off the court." Good.
I want to see that because you know what? I'm not coming back if I, especially if I brought my child. I'm not coming back to see you ever again because you're a bunch of unpatriotic ingrates. And no, I'm not spending my money anymore.
So I don't like people standing there just because they're forced to stand there and pretend that they're patriotic. Show your true colors, and I will make my decisions accordingly. I usually wind up with people responding when I start talking about this topic, saying. Are they still in business? After all the self-inflicted wounds, you know.
I mean, could you talk about something somewhat important? But watch this transition. Not my first day. They always talk about something important when it's Mary Walter Radio Tuesday, seven fifteen p.m. Eastern, and again tonight.
The featured guest and the ways we can consume this fine media. I love you, Rumble YouTube getter. It's live tonight, seven fifteen PM. You can join in, ask questions, leave comments, and then the audio is available when I get around to it on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Spreaker.
So, thank you so much. And may I just say, you know, you said it's like death by a thousand cuts for the WNBA. It's almost like they're learning from the Republican Party. How to snee? How to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?
Republicans do it every time. Oh heavens, I hated that analogy, but oh so accurate. Sad to say, shades of 2018 all over again. I hope not. It was a true pleasure, Mary.
I appreciate the time, and I hope we talk again. Yes, thank you so much. It was so nice to meet you. You are a lovely host. Thank you.
You're so kind, and you should know because you're one as well. Mary Walter joined us on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. Final segment coming up on this Tuesday edition of the program from the Liberty University studio. Stand by. Short break now.

Patriotalk nine hundred and twenty dot com events tab for the information. I did something kind of unique today. I actually prepared for the show. I have a whole stack of things that I didn't get to, which is good because we've got tomorrow. Here's a story, though, that we we've been talking today about hypocrisy and what have you done for me lately.
The folks at Fox Business have appropriately taken the CEO of United Airlines to task. He's a fellow by the name of Scott Kirby.
Now he took home about thirty-two point three million dollars in total compensation in the last fiscal year.
Now That's fine. I don't care. That's great. Salary, stock awards, performance incentives.
Well, he was interviewed by the New York Times about declining public trust in corporate executives, and that's when they started figuring out that Mister Kirby makes three hundred thirty-four times the airline's median employee compensation. The airline's median employee compensation ninety six thousand six hundred seventy. That's pretty good coin.
Well, he makes three hundred thirty four times that. He says we should have a national wealth tax. It won't work by state because people will just move.
Well, duh. And he said, I think we should have inheritance taxes that get close to a hundred percent at some level. I would pay them. Yeah, you're making three hundred.
Well, anyway, wealth inequity has become a danger to our society, and we need to address that. United CEO Scott Kirby said.
So Fox Business reached out after seeing those quotes in the New York Times and said, "Well, now if growing wealth inequity is a threat to society, are you going to reduce your compensation?" So that you can share the wealth with your employees, what level of money would you need in order to trigger that near 100 percent inheritance tax? Oddly, both Mr. Kirby and United have failed to respond to the folks at Fox. What do you know?
Now look, if you can get somebody to pay you thirty-two point three million dollars in a given year, you go. It's called capitalism. There's nothing wrong with it. But when you then talk about we should have these huge taxes, you can make a voluntary payment to the federal government any time. Go ahead, sir.
