Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun totem, Bible-clanging, deplorable American. Tell you. That's why I love this American ride. Todd Starns. All right.
Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Starns Radio Show. Great to have you with us today. And a lot happening all over America. A lot happening up on Capitol Hill, and we're going to get to all of it today.
And I know a lot of you. are are very, very um confused.
Some of you may possibly feel a little dejected right now over the back and forth, and it's really not the back and forth because the White House is pretty much sticking to its guns here. But Elon Musk certainly at odds right now with the Trump administration. And we're going to work through all of this, and it's a little messy. Just going to be honest with you here, folks. It's all a little messy.
Now, I've been pretty clear to you from really day one that the president's big, beautiful bill was not the best in the world, but it's what the president wanted. And again, what the president wants, the president ought to get. Donald Trump was elected president, not Elon Musk.
Now, Elon, and a lot of this is coming from Steve Bannon, who is very close, still very close to President Trump.
So I have to imagine that a lot of this is coming directly from the White House and the Oval Office. But there are a lot of questions right now about Doge. And it just seems to me here the issue is not so much Donald Trump as it is Elon Musk and Congress. And that's really where this battle is being waged here. If in fact we're going to call it a battle.
But Elon is um is really upset over the big beautiful belt. He says it's going to add trillions of dollars to the national debt. As a matter of fact, the Congressional Budget Office came out just a few moments ago and actually said that the Big Beautiful bill would add $2.4 trillion to the national debt. Yeah. But Trump has been wondering Okay, well, what's really going on here with Doge?
Are they just exposing all of this? corruption and grift and waste or Is it all just make-believe? And that's a fair question. It is a fair question. Elon and the Doge team came out a couple of weeks ago and they talked in depth about all the Medicaid fraud, the Social Security fraud, and they were giving great examples of the fraud.
And they were naming names. I mean, we have all of this information. That people were breaking the law. Not just a few folks, not a few dozen people. But we're talking about...
Millions of people that were committing.
Social Security fraud.
So the question is. What's being done about that? Why haven't those cases been turned over to the Justice Department? Why hasn't the Justice Department launched any investigations? Why hasn't anybody been arrested or charged?
I mean, they literally have the evidence of fraud.
So it's really just a matter of sending federal agents to whoever that person's home is and arresting them and charging them.
So the question is. What's going on there? Why haven't we seen any arrest? Why haven't people been pulled in? For for these uh allegations of fraud.
What's really going on here? And that is a fair question to ask, and I don't have the answer. I mean, they've told us that there's hundreds of millions of dollars in fraud. They've told us they uncovered all of this, but the reality is. Um we haven't really we haven't seen any anybody punished.
We haven't seen anyone take responsibility for that. At all.
So anyway, we'll keep you updated on that. It's not going to matter all that much, except for this one issue, where Congress will now use Elon as their cover. for not pushing through. This this big beautiful bill.
So Rand Paul, Ron Johnson, Mitch McConnell, they all got cover now thanks to Elon Musk. As a matter of fact, here is Steve Bannon this morning, cut number three. There are no Doge cuts. Let me repeat this. And this is not USAID.
Those are programmatic things. I'm talking about waste fraud. Where's the fraud Medicaid? Which is where is it? Haven't showed up with any.
Has anybody been turned over to DOJ for fraud? The problem with Musk, and I said this from the beginning, he gave false hope to this political class. who doesn't want to cut anything. The reason if the big beautiful bill's got all these problems and it has some issues. He drove it because he promised a trillion dollars, ladies and gentlemen, one trillion dollars that got him off the hook.
It's time for everybody to grow up. Run around. Oh, it's show me where it is. The rescission next week is $9 billion, and $2 billion folks is PBS and NPR. Give me a break.
Didn't need Doge for that. Been fighting for that one forever. There's $7 billion in there supposedly of, I don't know, fraud. On a $7 trillion, he committed to the President of the United States $1 trillion. That's where the Wall Street Journal article the other day said.
said um The president said, hey, is this all BS? Show me the money. Yeah, that is the question. Is it all bogus here? That's I mean, that's a valid question.
There again, when you look at all of the evidence, nobody and maybe that's the reason why nobody's been charged, is that there really wasn't any fraud or it didn't lead to the level of criminality. I doubt that's the case. But I'm just trying to I'm trying to understand all of this. Yeah. And look, here's the deal on the big beautiful bill.
And a lot of people are upset because, well, the NPR, PBS cuts, all that stuff wasn't in there.
Well, it couldn't be. All right. So that's, and the Trump administration could have done a lot better job rolling this out and explaining, all right, here's, and they have to, again, if it's hard for politicos to understand, it's going to be all, it's going to be next to impossible for anybody else to get it.
So the administration at that point has to craft together the messaging saying, okay, look, here's what we are allowed under the rules of Congress to do in the big beautiful bill. And this is why we can't defund NPR. This is why we can't touch PBS right now.
So it should have been that simple and that laid out. But again, that's water under the bridge. But Bannon here, and again, Scott Besant. Actually, got into a shoving match. Elon shoved, physically shoved, Scott Besant.
And Besant called him out and said, You promised a trillion dollars in cuts, and now you're maybe at $100 billion, and nobody can find anything.
So, right now, It's all been a big show. And a lot of people are now scratching their heads within the MAGA world and saying, all right, did we get played here? That's the bigger question. Did we get played? But then you've got Bongino and Cash Patel out there And you know, they're they're all saying You know, that there's no there when it comes to the assassination attempt, that they still haven't released the JFK stuff, the RFK stuff, the MLK stuff, and they still are telling us now that what Epstein did not, was not killed, he committed suicide, and they have yet to release the Epstein files.
All of this, ladies and gentlemen, is a little. discouraging.
So the question is, what do you want this administration to do? What do you want President Trump to do right now? Do you are these cuts important to you? Is it important that we go in and root out all of the grift? Is that important to you?
What is the most important thing that you want President Trump to do? Because right now, Congress and the people that Trump is bringing into his orbit are not necessarily delivering on some of those key components. Marco Rubio, Secretary of State. Amazing job. What's happening right now in Homeland Security with Christy Noam and Tom Holman?
Unbelievable. They're knocking it out of the ballpark. And I would even say to some extent the Pentagon is getting its it is getting its act together. Yeah. But when it comes to literally cracking down on the biggest issue, and for me, this is the big issue.
because I believe that our federal tax dollars, the money that you and I are forced to pay to the federal government, I believe that there is an entire shadow government that we are funding. Yeah. And they're turning that government they have turned that government against all of us.
So, I think Bannon is right to call out Elon here and say, dude, what are you? What are you doing? By the way, Elon is tripling down on his um outrage. And Elon is saying that we are going to be enslaved. To This massive debt.
I'm reading here from the New York Slimes. Elon Musk lashed out against the far-reaching Republican bill intended to enact President Trump's domestic policy agenda. Saying it was a disgusting abomination and telling House members who voted for it, you know, you did wrong. And again, If if Elon is this upset about it, he needs to talk to Trump in private. Going out in public is not the way to handle all of this.
Elon writing, I'm sorry, I just can't stand it anymore, calling the domestic policy bill massive, outrageous, pork filled, said it would massively increase the already gigantic budget deficit and that Congress is making America bankrupt. Elon goes on to say, in November next year, we fire all politicians who betray the American people.
Well, I agree with that, and I have no problem with that. But the issue here is the Department of Government efficiency. What exactly Have they done? I know they've exposed it all, but what are we doing now? And I'll just throw this out there.
We're being told. that Congress may not even get around to voting to defund NPR and PBS this week. They promised us it was going to all of that with the rescission bill was going to be presented on Monday. It turned out to be Tuesday, yesterday, late yesterday, and now we're being told they may not even get around to voting on it until maybe, maybe next week. And I'm not a Debbie Downer here.
I'm just saying, well, let me ask you this. If nothing changes. Come the midterms, we are still funding Planned Parenthood and NPR and PBS, and we haven't cracked down on all of this waste and this criminal activity. Are you inclined to go and vote for Republicans? Because that ultimately is the broad question here.
And the Republicans are taking a gamble, they're taking a risk, and they're saying, you know what? Yeah, I think they're going to vote for us no matter what. I think that may be a mistake. But again, all we're asking Congress to do, all we're asking the administration to do, is what they promised out on the campaign trail. And it really should not be that difficult.
Unless people are getting knocks on the door and these guys in sunglasses and black suits wearing fedoras, are handing over Little envelopes filled with um scandalous photos and other documentation. And maybe that's what's going on. All right, we've got to take a quick break here. 901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926.
Look, Trump is in charge here at the end of the day, and I know people can be discouraged, but Trump is in charge. We elected him, not Elon. And Elon needs to understand that. He needs to recognize that. And he needs to deliver on what he told President Trump he was going to do.
Got to take a break. We'll be right back. As you know, my friend Mike Lindell has a passion to help everyone get the best sleep of your life.

Hi, Jerry. What's on your mind today? Uh hello, thanks for taking my call. Uh Well, so I really, you know, I just love Elon Musk. I think he loves his country.
And when he went in there, He never really had any power to do anything. He doesn't have a power to affect these changes. Anybody who goes against the holy cow, which is money, is going to get it. That was the Matt Gaetz thing. It wasn't.
personality. It wasn't, he's not, nobody's perfect. Um ever every time the what's It's really the American people that don't have the will address debt. The the MAGA movement really started in fall of twenty fifteen when Boehner Uh, with switching to Paul Ryan, and it's just really the morality of the American people that. The spending just keeps going.
And there's no real will to stop it at any level. And we've been put in this desperate situation because that. The house is so close. And it's just It's a fundamental moral problem, and so I can see why Elon would be frustrated. Anyone Who thinks they're going to stop the spending in DC is going to find out.
That the it's just the American people do not have the will to stop spending.
Well, and I suspect, Jerry, one of the reasons why is because we don't want to be the congressional district that gives up our funding, right?
So it's everybody else that has to do that, and nobody's going to do that. And so, therefore, nothing gets done. Everything gets clogged up here. And I get it. Again, if you're looking at bad guys, I don't think you can qualify Elon as a bad guy.
I think Elon was asked to do a job. He did the job, and he's a little frustrated now because he realizes that this bill and And I want to read what John Cardello, who has a pretty huge following on social media, wrote this: Trump put Johnson and Thune into leadership roles. He endorsed rhinos who wanted massive spending. Trump named it the Big Beautiful Bill, attacks anyone who criticizes it, and will happily declare it a victory when signing it. Elon clearly knows what's up.
If you're only blaming Congress, you're retarded.
Well, people better start buying gold, silver and doing home canning and get out of debt because. The the signs are real bad of where this is going to. Thank you for taking my call, Tom. Yeah, no, Jerry, I hear what you're saying, and thank you for calling in. And again, we talk a lot about making sure that your savings and your retirement are diversified, and that's one of the reasons why, because Jerry's right, this is all leading to massive spending.
That's what it's all about. And it's Elon went in there and the Doge team. The issue now is, and he's right, Elon has no power except to identify all of the the waste and the squander and the squalor. And the crime and the grift. He can identify that.
It's up to the administration. It's up to the Justice Department, for example. What are they going to do about it? That's the big question here. Let's go to Tom in Oakwood, Georgia.
Hi, Tom. What's on your mind today? Good afternoon, Todd. I'm calling because I've seen it three different places. I saw the last this morning from Elon Musk, and that was But um Lindsey Graham.
Richard Blumenthal, we're uh staying in Kiev Ukraine and spent over $400,000 each on just their hotel bill. And Elon Musk, like the other people I read, are just ballistic about. How can they be talking about one thing and then so flagrantly Abusing the American taxpayer. And that just drives me crazy. Yeah, Tom, actually, it was more than $400,000.
Now, Lindsay, Lindsay says that this was not just his hotel bill and room service, that it was a monthly contract between the State Department for U.S. diplomats in a war zone. He says it had nothing to do with his trip. I'm not sure I believe that. But my question is, why are we spending $400,000 to send American lawmakers to Ukraine in the first place?
All right, Tom, I gotta run, my friend. We're coming up on the break. Thank you for calling in. 901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926.

in all states. All right, welcome back, everybody. This is. The Todd Carnes Radio Show.
So, Corinne Jean-Pierre, KJP. KJP. has announced that she is leaving. leaving the Democrat Party. She was basically their version of Baghdad Bob.
It was a Baghdad Barb. Corinne Jean-Pierre announcing that she's leading the Democrat Party. You got a new book out. All these folks in the Biden White House putting out these books. And acknowledging that they basically lied to the American people.
For four years, these people they lied to the American people. And they're really not sorry about it.
So, KJP, who was hired because, and you can take your pick, she was black, immigrant. Lesbian. you you you name it. She every time she was up there in front of the um in front of the the press corps, she was reminding them that she was the first black immigrant lesbian press secretary in American history that we know of. Do we know who Do we know who Grover Cleveland's press secretary?
I don't think Grover had a. I don't think so. I don't think they had lesbians back then. Anyway, KJP writing a book called Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House Outside the Party Lines. The book comes out in October.
Until January 20, I was responsible for speaking on behalf of the President of the United States, she said in a statement. At noon on that day, I became a private citizen who, like all Americans and many of our allies, had to contend with what was to come next for our country. I determined the danger we face as a country requires freeing ourselves of boxes we need to be willing to exercise. the ability to think creatively and plan strategically.
So now she has become, I don't know, a trans politico? She identifies now as an independent. And it's really sad because all of these people need to be hauled before Congress. Because they all saw it. They all had a front row view.
They knew that Joe Biden and that crowd was actually running the country and not her husband Joe. And they got to be held accountable. I don't think they're going to be held accountable here.
So there you go, KJP. By the way, Tapper's book is not selling very well. Surprised to hear that. I think something like fifty thousand copies, which is actually pretty good in the world of publishing, but still I mean, you would think that book would have sold a couple of hundred thousand copies with as much press as it received. But I don't know about that.
All right, look, I want to play some audio here. This moments ago, Speaker Mike Johnson was asked a question about Elon and the BBB, cut number six. Full disclosure: Elon and I had a great conversation about a half-hour long talk. Talk on Monday this week, Monday morning. And we talked about the big, beautiful bill because he made, I think he was trying to make a joke a couple of days earlier.
It can't be big and beautiful. And I started the conversation: oh, yes, it can, my friend. It's very beautiful.
So we talked about all the record level of savings. My friends, no government in the history of mankind has ever cut $1.6 trillion in a piece of legislation. We're doing that here. I mean, the extraordinary level of savings and the historic level of Tax cuts at the same time, and all these great policy prescriptions. And I talked Elon through all that and explained to him what we are doing, and that this is just the beginning of a long process of making government more efficient and effective, of cutting wasteful spending, fraud, and abuse.
And you can't do it all in one bill. It took Congress decades to get to this situation. It's going to take us a little while to get out of it. But we have a very specific plan to do that. And Elon was encouraged by that conversation.
We had a great, it was a very friendly, very fruitful conversation together. And he and I talked about the midterm elections. And he said, I'm going to help. We've got to make sure that the Republicans keep the House majority. We can't have the President impeached, which is what the Democrats would do on day one, as we all well know.
And we've got to continue this. The Trump administration needs four years to do all this reform, not two years. The Biden administration, Biden Harris, made such a disaster of every metric of public policy, it's going to take us more than one bill to fix it all. Elon and I left on a great note. We were texting one another, you know, happy texts, you know, Monday.
And then yesterday, you know, 24 hours later, he doesn't want to. 180, and it comes out and opposed the bill. And it surprised me, frankly. And I don't take it personal. We don't take it personal.
Policy differences are not personal. I think he's flat wrong. I think he's way off on this, and I've told him as much, and I've said it publicly and privately. I'm very consistent in that. But am I concerned about the effect of this on the midterms?
I'm not. Let me tell you why. Because when the big, beautiful bill is done and signed into law, every single American is going to do better. This bill is geared for middle and working-class Americans, and they are going to feel the effects of it, and they're going to feel it before the midterm election.
So I have no concern whatsoever. I'm absolutely convinced that we're going to win the midterms and grow the House majority because we're delivering for the American people and fulfilling our campaign promises, and we'll see how that happens.
Well, I hope so because right now they really haven't done anything. I mean, I hate to mention that, but aside from going on vacation and marching in the Bucks North, Tennessee come coop parade, they're just not doing all that much.
So look, the Republicans are pushing back now against Elon, and they're saying, well, what Elon's really upset about is that the BBP, the Big Beautiful bill, terminates tax credits for Tesla.
So previously, if you bought a Tesla, The owner, the dealership would get a $7,500 federal tax credit for every new EV they sold. Mm-hmm.
Now, they had a $4,000 credit for used EVs and a $1,000 credit for level two charger installation. The bill would also impose a $250 yearly federal registration fee for EV owners. And so the Republicans are saying, well, Elon is really upset about that, which is why he's lashing out at the President of the United States. And really not the President as much as he is Congress. If the bill is passed as currently written, Tesla's eleven point four billion dollars in regulatory cuts would expire at the end of twenty twenty five.
Those credits, by the way, contributed to Tesla's profitability in the first quarter of the year. This coming from Breitpart. The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board also went after Elon. And they said, again, this is all about cutting subsidies that would benefit. His companies.
Tesla Energy tweeted last week that abruptly ending the energy tax credits would threaten America's energy independence. and the reliability of our grid. The journal said, but one reason for that is because whenever Congress tries to cut something, special interests scream, as Mr. Musk is doing, over green subsidies. If the House bill fails, there won't be any cuts, only a huge tax increase.
Is that what Elon wants? And that is going to happen, by the way. If all of this fails, there will be a massive tax increase because President Trump's tax cuts are going away.
So we've we all have a lot writing on this. 901-260-5926 our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. Now There's an interesting story coming out of Washington. The White House says they will not be issuing a proclamation on Pride Month.
And this is like a huge deal because in previous administrations, they've like painted the White House in rainbow colors. They've allowed the transgender activists to frolic about on the front yard and do all sorts of stuff. I mean, it's like a big alphabet activist orgy at the White House. But President Trump Is not going to be issuing a proclamation declaring June as. Gay Pride Month.
And a lot of folks are really upset about this. But The Daily Beast headline Donald Trump is officially speaking. Bitty or spiting Pride Month. I believe that should be Spiking Pride Month, but might be a typo there. According to thehill.com.
President Trump has no plans to issue a proclamation recognizing June as Pride Month or. dedicating it to any other group or causes. This coming from the White House Press Secretary. Caroline Levitt says Trump is Very proud to be a President for all Americans regardless of race, religion, or creed. Trump declined to issue proclamations recognizing Pride Month throughout his first term, though he briefly acknowledged it on social media in twenty nineteen while touting his administration's efforts to decriminalize homosexuality worldwide.
By the way, do you know who the very first president? To issue A gay pride month. Proclamation was. No, it was no, no, it wasn't Millard Fillmore. No, that no, it was not him.
No. That would be a fun trivia question, actually. Who was the first President to issue a gay pride proclamation.
Now, the one that President Obama issued back in 2011. Expanded Gay Pride Month to include bisexual people and transgender people. And now I think there are seventy holidays now designated to honor people of uh that uh whole uh you know uh rainbow color of people. The White House decision comes amid a broader backlash against pride and a political climate that is increasingly hostile to the LGBTQ community, especially transgender people. Opponents of LGBT rights criticize U.S.
companies that publicly acknowledge pride. with social media posts were changing their corporate logos. And a group of congressional Republicans accused PBS of grooming children after Sesame Street shared a post recognizing Pride Month on Sunday.
So, this is interesting because Mary Miller, she's going to be on my Newsmax show tonight at 5 o'clock. Mary Miller is out there, and she's one of those lawmakers blasting PBS and Sesame Street, and she's introduced a resolution declaring June. As Family month. And she said we have to reject the lie of pride and instead honor God's timeless and perfect design. Yeah, I I've got no problem with that.
at all.
Now, I told you yesterday about the NFL, and there's a bit of a development there. The NFL declaring football to be queer. And I mean, I appreciate them coming out of the closet and acknowledging that. I don't know. It's I mean, you got a bunch of guys in tight pants smacking each other upside the backside.
We didn't read anything into that. Just thought it was, you know, just overly friendly guys out on the field, out on the gridiron.
Well, anyway, former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Des Bryant had actually called out the NFL and this whole idea that football is gay. And he says he's got nothing against gay people, but this message is insane.
Well, now he's going even further. Des Bryant, the former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, says in further statements. Um They're putting it, they're forcing it in people's faces, especially the children. And he said, Football is a real community, like the gay community. Imagine telling gay people they have to advocate for straight people.
That would be a problem. And it would be a problem because, again, the football players are being told, you have to support this, you have to wear the rainbow colors. And a lot of players, they don't still want to. I would be willing to say most players in the NFL do not agree with any of this nonsense. But now you've got all these football teams.
And there are only a handful that have yet to embrace this. But you've got the Chargers, the Bills, the Vikings, the Lions. The list goes on and on and on of teams that are changing their logos and mascots, and they are embracing all of this because they're just terrified of the LGBT activist. I think that's ultimately what it's all about. But, ladies and gentlemen, I'm curious, what do you think about this call to make June Family Month in America?
Got to take a break. 901-260-5926. Our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show.
All right, welcome back to the Todd Stern Show. Let's go to Angela in High Point, North Carolina, listening to us on WSJS. Hi, Angela. What's going on? Hi, thank you so much for taking my call.
We listen to you every day.
Well, thank you. Yes, we just appreciate all that you say and do for the American people who. Yeah, it's just a confusing situation when there's this and there's that, and then what are you supposed to listen to?
So we appreciate what you say and do. At the utmost.
Well, I appreciate that, Angela. Thank you. And just the whole you know, Having a family, like month of enjoying the fact that we have family, what is wrong with that? That is so much better. Then I mean, we have Black History Month.
I mean, I'm Native American Indian, but we have that.
Okay. Why is everybody so uh upset. If the President doesn't want to go rainbow, That's fine. You know, rainbow was originally from the Bible. I really don't appreciate That they took.
the rainbow and made it into something people are afraid of Putting out there. It's just not right. We have choices, and we need to be able to make those choices as Christians and Americans. You know, Angela, I thought it was interesting you brought this topic up because you're right. When I see the rainbow, that was done intentionally.
That was done to target Christians and people of faith when the flag was created back, I think it was in the late 1970s. And the whole point was basically an in-your-face to the Christian community in America. Yeah. That's not what it was meant for. It was always meant to be the promise of what's ahead of us, that God gave us those promises, not.
Some two percent community people who want to rant and rave and throw everything in your face. No, it's a fair point. And you're right. I mean, that rainbow was a symbol of God's covenant that he would not destroy the earth again, right?
So to take something like that and then to turn it into the symbol. For the gay rights movement, they knew exactly what they were doing when they created that symbol. And now, of course, you know, it's infiltrating even the churches, and especially those high church groups like the Episcopalians, United Church of Christ, you know, those kinds of congregations.
So, yeah, it's unfortunate. And I'm glad you brought that out, Angela, because you're right. The rainbow is a symbol from God's word, not the LGBT community. Exactly. And that's what it was meant to be.
And I hate that they still get to and the President has every right. To just say, okay, you have your thing, but I don't have to decorate the White House. In rainbows, and have these people frolic around like Biden did. It's ridiculous. Yeah, well said, Angela.
And I can only imagine how much we're saving in wet wipes since we don't have to, you know. Yeah. I mean, what they were doing during the last administration in the White House during that month, geez, hello. All right. You've got to get some disinfectant.
All right, Angela, thank you so much for calling in, and thank you for listening in those kind words. Ladies and gentlemen, what do you think about this? The president says, you know what? Yeah, we're not going to do this. We're not going to be celebrating Gay Pride Month in America.
Congresswoman Mary Miller wants to instead propose that we celebrate families. And again, going back to something I shared with you yesterday, I truly believe that the strongest families in America are families that have a mom and a dad in the house. That's where I stand on it. All right, got to take a break here, folks. 901-260-5926.
That's 901-260-5926. Coming up, our good friend Liz Peake from Fox News drops by. We're going to be taking your calls as well. All right. Stick around, everybody.
We'll be right back. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr. That's right. I love this American.
Well, hello, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Starns Radio Extravaganza. By the way, no doge cuts here because we run a tight shift, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome, and what an honor to have you with us. Coming up, we're going to be talking to Liz Peak from Fox News Channel.
She's going to be joining us. We're also following the developments up on Capitol Hill with the BBB, the big, beautiful Bill. We'll keep you updated on that. It's a mess right now. Just going to tell you, it's a mess, but that's okay.
It'll all get worked out. Trust me on this, folks. It'll all get worked out. I do want to share something with you, and this is a bit of exciting news. We have exactly two more days for our special offer.
That's right, two more days, and then our special offer will expire on my brand new book called Star Spangled Blessings: Devotions for Patriots.
Now, the book officially comes out. On June 17th, and we are going to rely on this great audience to help us promote the book and tell people to go out there and buy this book. I want you to read this: it is a fun little book. You know, a lot of people in talk radio and cable television hire people to write their books. I don't do that.
I write every single thing that's in my books. And that's an important thing because I want to make sure you're hearing this from my voice. As a matter of fact, I voiced the audio version of the book, so you'll be able to buy an audio version. It'll be in Kindle hardcover and audiobook, and it'll be in stores on June 17th. Our good friend Franklin Graham was kind enough to write the intro to the book, and we also have great endorsements from people like our good friend Caleb Park from Newsmax.
Karen Kingsbury, the great uh novelist. Dr. Robert Jeffers, Dr. Paul Champel, so many folks are putting their support behind this little book.
So here's the deal. For the next two days only, you're going to be able to get a copy right now. But you got to go to ToddSterns.com and you have to order from my website. And if you do that, you'll be getting an advanced copy of the book and an autographed copy as well. But you got to do this.
We only have two more days, and then next week we are in full book launch mode as we gear up for the 17th. All that to say, All that to say. that on Thursday In at German, in Germantown, at Germantown Baptist Church, we are doing our big book launch celebration. It's going to be an extravaganza, great music. Food, the food is going to be unbelievable.
We're going to have all sorts of, and it's just going to be a fun, we're calling it a fun upscale patriotic celebration. And I want you to come. I want you to be a part of it if you can make it to this part of the country. But we are also doing some VIP tickets, and we want to do something nice. And so, what we're going to do is the next three callers, the next three callers, if you call in, you and a guest will receive VIP tickets to the Todd Stern's book launch, and we would love for you to do that.
Again, give us a call, 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926, and you'll be able to be a part of our VIP. We have a little special VIP thing we're doing as well. It's going to be a lot of fun. And again, can't wait for you to read the book.
You can pre-order it. If you don't want to get it on my website, you can pre-order it wherever you buy your books. All right, let's go to the phones real quick here. Paul is listening to us on the talk station out in Beaufort, North Carolina. Hi, Paul.
What's on your mind today? Hey, hey, Todd, how are you doing? First blow. You guys got a great show. My wife and I listen to you every day.
And I even got you on podcasts, or when I'm in the car and I don't want to hear anything else, I'll put you back on just to rehearse things. Your staff is great. I love you all. Thank you so much for what you all do for us.
Well, Paul, you're very kind to say that. But I need to ask you a question. I'm curious, what part of North Carolina are you from? Because I'm not picking up that accent. Normally, I can tell where somebody is from.
That sounds like North North Carolina. This is, yeah, north of the Mason-Dixon line, brother. I'm a Yankee from Boston. I transplanted down here when I joined the Marine Corps. My wife's from North Carolina.
We love it here. I'm glad I moved here. I wish I had done it while I was in college, but I just couldn't. I couldn't do it.
So as soon as I graduated college, I joined the Marine Corps and Move south. And that's the move we ever made. I haven't made.
Well, I was wife, and I'd say the best decision is marrying a southern girl. They'll set you straight pretty quick. You're absolutely correct. He kept me so strange, it's unbelievable. I love that.
I love it.
Well, Paul, God bless you as well. Thank you for serving our great nation. My pleasure. And thank you for acknowledging that, Todd. I really appreciate that.
Listen, I agree with everything you say most of the time. I very seldom do I disagree with you. I don't disagree with you. And I'm not just saying that, but the great the gay Pride Month thing, I think what President Trump did is Fantastic. I was watching Infinity last night and I saw that he went to the Oh, Target store, where they changed everything.
I couldn't believe it. I was doing backlift. I think, you kidding me? This is great. And then this morning, when I was reading my news feeds, I saw that congresswoman, you had mentioned her name, I forget what it was, what it is.
And uh her took her. What she would like to see is a family month.
Okay, this is perfect. It kind of leads into what Trump's trying to get across to everybody. And it makes more sense. And there's more people that would be willing to Recognize that and do it. do those things that g that are family oriented.
Uh So I think that's a great idea. And I appreciate you Bringing that out. Thank you. Yeah, look. Let me jump in here.
You were talking about Congresswoman Mary Miller, and she has introduced a resolution to declare June as Family Month. And it would be good for all of you to pick up the phone, call your congressperson, and tell them to get on board with this. I love this idea. It's sponsored by our friend Tony Perkins of our Family Research Council, Moms for America.
So I think that is a noble thing. And look, let's just say, let's say you have a gay family, right? You've got that. You know what? It's Family Month.
So you can celebrate your family. You're not excluding anybody. Um when you have a Pride Month, you're excluding heterosexuals.
Sorry. I mean, that's and that's the reality of it. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yeah, that's a good point.
All right, Paul.
Sorry, I wanted to put a pin there, but go ahead and finish your thought. Yeah. Thank you. The other thing was on the uh whole um Big, beautiful bill. You know, I I'm I'm disappointed in our Republican.
comrades up there. We're not doing the things that they said they were going to do. Um to the point where I was telling Ms. Becky that I'm considering strongly If this doesn't get through away, it should get through. I may change, I've never voted Democrat, but I may just vote Democrat because at least you know.
The bad things are going to be coming because they lay it out in their own spin that they always do. I hope I'm making sense. I just get so frustrated. with the way Congress Snowballs everything. And image starting to really Get on my nerves because we elect these people to do the things that they said they're going to do, and then they turn around and.
There are more excuses than you can imagine. Anyway, thank you for letting me say my piece.
Well, Paul, no, I'm glad you did. And, you know, there's a lot of truth there. And there's a lot of reason to be frustrated with the Republicans up on Capitol Hill. And I get it. They have their rules and their regulations, but we're going to start streamlining all of this stuff.
And the reality is we've got to, and again, I hear it. And I had a lawmaker yesterday on Newsmax, my Newsmax show, and I pointed out that Republican lawmakers are hiding under their desk right now because mommy and daddy are having a little bit of a feud, mommy and daddy being Trump and Elon, right? And one of the lawmakers was really upset about that. I said, he says, I'm a military veteran. I don't hide under my desk.
Okay, sir, I wasn't saying that this guy specifically. Anyway, they're all a little sensitive is what I'm trying to get at. Paul, thank you for calling in. And again, thank you for serving our great nation. I can't tell you how many times I've heard of guys signing up for the military.
Basic training is down south, and they end up meeting a southern girl, and that's it. Those guys have, they're not going north of the Mason-Dixon line again.
So, Paul certainly sounds like a blessed man. 901-260-5926 is our number. That's 901-260-5926. So, Mary Miller, going back to this, I want to put a pen in this for just a moment here. Mary Miller.
Says that American civilization depends on the continuation of traditional marriage and family. And that's why she has called upon the House of Representatives to recognize the societal benefits of heterosexual marriage and to no longer recognize June as Pride Month. I love this. Miller has also and you might remember Mary Miller she's a regular on the show She was the one who, when she was recognizing Sarah McBride, that's the dude in the dress who represents Delaware. Man, that state's messed up.
I don't know what's going on in Delaware, but you guys, you need like a collective state therapy.
So you've got this transgender congress person. And Miller actually referred to him as a gentleman. The gentleman from Delaware, and the guy just became enraged. I'm not a man, I'm a woman. Ma'am.
She also is calling for overturning abortion rights nationwide. Calling it a victory. Oh, for heaven's sakes. I'm not going to go. I'm reading from the LGBTQ Nation.
They're very upset about all of this. But anyway, good for you, Congresswoman Miller. I think she's absolutely right. And when you look at what's happening in America with birth rates that have plummeted, And it's not just in America, it's all over the world. It's unbelievable.
By the way, Pete Hegseth, can we give this guy a shout out? Speaking of Gay Pride Month, so Pete Hegseth is catching fire. fire from the entire LGBT community Except for conservatives, And the reason why is Hegseth has ordered that the military Rename a a Navy ship named after Harvey Milk.
So, Pete Hankseth said, We're no longer going to. Call one of our Navy ships after San Francisco gay rights activist Harvey Milk. According to Military.com The memorandum's already gone out, The memo directed the renaming of the ship As a move to mark a shift in culture in the Department of Defense and the U.S. Navy, to get away from reestablishing the priorities of being a warrior culture. By the way, Harvey Milk, when you go back and read his story.
This guy was I mean You got to go back and read his story. But he did a lot of very Very, very self-admitted inappropriate things. Milk was the first openly gay elected man in America. He was elected to public office in San Francisco in 19. seventy seven.
He enlisted in the Navy in '51, resigned in '55 after being questioned about his sexual orientation.
So there you go.
Well done, you Pete Hankseth. He's catching a lot of flack, a lot of flack over this. By the way, you heard our caller from North Carolina talk about Target. Have you been inside Target stores? It's like they have had some sort of a come to Jesus moment because all of the stores, normally the stores are decorated with all the rainbow colors, but now it's all red, white, and blue.
I mean, this is something else. As a matter of fact, somebody wrote on social media: she says, just walked into Target. Instead of a giant pride display, they have a whole USA section. This is winning! President Trump's even making Target great again.
Good for you good for you, Target. Apparently they Do you have a pride collection, but I think it's in the back of the store. Maybe you have to show an ID to get back there. I don't know. All right, we've got to, oh, geez.
We've got to take a quick break here. 901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. Real quick, folks, again, star-spangled blessings, devotions for patriots. Go right now to ToddSterns.com.
Only two days left to get your special early edition. Again, ToddSterns.com. All right, welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. I'm happy to have you with us.
So There is a a lawmaker. And uh she is Very upset. Over the immigration issues that President Trump supports. She's very upset over the deportations. Her name is Rebecca B.
Bayland, and she is a Congress. A Congress chick from the state of Vermont, she is also And openly, and I've never heard of this woman before. But she is also a um an open lesbian. She's a person of the Lebanese uh tradition. Married to a chick?
They're in um They're in Vermont.
So she's very upset. About deporting all of the illegals. And I want you to hear what she had to say. It's kind of shocking what she had to say, but I have a theory about why she. Senate.
Cut number four, please. We have to come to a place in Congress. where it is no longer a political issue. But we see it as An existential issue for the country. If we don't have Avenues for people to come here legally to work or to build a home here.
I'm going to be really crude right now. We're not going to have anybody around to wipe our asses because we don't have enough people. All right. So apparently this lesbian wants to Once the illegals, this um this lesbian once the illegals here on American soil, so they can actually wipe her blessed assurance. I mean, that's what this congresswoman just said.
I don't know what the heck is going on Ver in Vermont, but apparently they have every home maybe has has an illegal and they're I do they live adjacent to the bathroom. And every time you Do number two and go poo-poo. You summon the illegal. I don't know how it works. I haven't been to Vermont in ages.
But I guess they have a button or something, and the bell rings, or maybe they have like a little bell that rings. And the illegal comes in with the the Charmin. And They commits to wiping the behinds. of the Liberals there in Vermont. And this is clearly upsetting to this congresswoman.
Who is I she's upset? And there she has it. Let's can we go back and. No, no, I want to go back and listen. I have some more exclusive audio, actually.
This is. The lesbian, a congresswoman, Becca Ballant, and she here's well. Here's what she said. I won't have anybody. To wipe my buttocks.
This is unacceptable. Shame on you, Donald Trump. They always have deep voices, don't they? I don't mean to paint with a bride rainbow colored brush, but It is what it is.
So, yeah, so this woman, this congresswoman, is very upset because the illegals will no longer be able to wipe her backside.
So, she's going to have to do it herself. Or perhaps the missus can do it. I don't know. It's a little weird if you ask me. I will say this: I don't plan on going anywhere near Vermont.
I don't want anybody wiping my butt. Oh Gracias, senor. I can tell you the illegals are probably pretty darn happy about that, too. That's got to be the worst job in America. I mean, how would you like to How would you like to have a job?
You're looking at resumes, and your resume is you wipe the butt of a lesbian congresswoman from Vermont for crying out loud. But I have a theory about all of this. A theory, ladies and gentlemen. I'll tell you what that is coming up next. All right, I want to go back, and I was interrupted by the commercial break.
We practice capitalism on this program. But I wanted to finish my thought here about what's really going on with the Democrats and the illegals and why they'll. First of all, the reason why the Democrats love the illegals is because they count those as votes. Whether or not the illegal actually goes to a polling place and pulls the lever, that is not the issue. But you've got this congresswoman from Vermont, Rebecca Bailant.
She's an open lesbian, and she's enraged because she's going to have to now wipe her own buttocks after going number two. Pooh poo She said that if lawmakers, that if Trump continues to crack down. On illegals, quote, we're not going to have anybody here, we're not going to have anybody around to wipe our asses. That is the direct quote. from the lesbian Democrat lawmaker from Vermont.
Now look, I had no idea. No idea the citizens of Vermont employed illegals to clean their nether regions. I had no idea that was going on. A little creepy, little freakish, but whatever, it's Vermont. But I want you to think about this.
Remember Martha's Vineyard. Remember when all the illegals were going to ship all the illegals to Martha's Vineyard? You guys remember that? And all you know what broke loose. I mean every Buffy and Muffy and Biff and Dirk, they all came out and said, Why, how dare you Who do you think you are?
Bringing these these illegals to our neighborhoods, to Martha's vineyard? Arumph, arumph, arumph I mean, they were really upset about that, right? But these are the same people that are saying we've got to protect the illegals unless. They're in your neighborhood. And they had a complete change of heart about it.
But think about this for a moment. The only reason that Buffy and Dirk And all the other folks up in Martha's Vineyard and all the other hoity-toity places. The only reason. They Embrace the illegals. is because those were the people that were cleaning their mansions.
that were taking care of their kids. that were mow th they were the ones mowing the grass. and taken out the garbage. That's how they view the illegals. It's almost like modern-day slavery.
I mean, they're not picking cotton. But if they had cotton plantations in the northeast at Martha's Vineyard, I guarantee you they'd be picking cotton. They treat the illegals like slaves. And that's really what Becca Bailant of Vermont meant when she said, We're not going to have anybody around to wipe our asses. Because they treat these illegals like they're slaves.
Like they have no value. That's I mean, that's. What the woman said. I mean, that you gotta read between the butt crack, but that's exactly what she said. 901-260-592.
I'm just, I know, I'm just telling you. That's exactly what they do. And it's disgusting. They don't care about these illegals. They don't care about the fact that children are being separated at the border.
And in many cases, they're coming into this country without even a mom or a dad. The human trafficking is insane. Nobody wants to talk about that on the left. Another olive, please. I mean, that's how they, that's how they are.
They treat the illegals like slaves. And I'm talking about Barack Hussein, Obama, all of them, Big Mike, you name it. 901-260. 5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260.
5926. Coming up tonight, 5 o'clock Eastern. I mentioned Mary Miller is going to be with us on Newsmax. We're going to have a great show. By the way, just a reminder that Newsmax went public on the New York Stock Exchange, and it's been so exciting to see just millions of people joining our news revolution.
They now tell us, according to the ratings, folks. Newsmax is now the fourth highest rated news channel in America, just behind CNN. Reuters says we're one of the top news brands in America. Forty million Americans forty million now go to Newsmax. for shows like Rob Schmidt, Greta, Rob Finnerty, Todd Stearns, So, I want to encourage you to download our free Newsmax app on your smartphone and start watching.
President Trump says Newsmax is incredibly terrific. By the way, you can get the free Newsmax app right now. It takes just a matter of seconds to download. And check out Newsmax shares on the New York Stock Exchange. For that, go to newsmaxinvest.com.
That's newsmaxinvest.com, and you'll be able to get all of that information there. I want to. I want to go back to this uh situation with Elon Musk and the cabinet. And there have been confirmed, and we have been able to confirm through our sources in Washington that there's some bad blood right there between Elon and several cabinet members, including Secretary Scott Besant. Here is Mark Caputo on Steve Bannon's show talking about that.
Cut to plays. Early on, he clashed with Mark Arubio and the FAA, or better said the DOT administrator, Sean Duffy. And then He had this big blow-up, which we first reported at Axios, with Scott Besson. in the White House, outside of the Oval Office, a screaming match. One of the things I didn't report in there, which I guess we can just use as a bonus to the War Room Faithful.
Is that during that shouting match between Elon Musk and Scott Besson, what, I think in April? Scott Besson. Yeah. You're a fraud. You promised $2 billion, $2 trillion in cuts.
Then it was a trillion dollars. Then it was 500 billion.
Now it's only 150 new. You're a fraud. And then Elon Musk apparently shot back at him, saying that he had run. Besson had run a failed hedge fund. and on and on and on.
But that was a really personal encounter. And Besant had more allies on his side. and in the cabinet and ultimately with Donald Trump.
So that gives you a little background on what's been going on there.
So again, a lot of bad blood. Here is Steve Bannon again talking about Elon and the Doge cuts, cut number three. There are no Dogecuts. Let me repeat this. And this is not USAID.
Those are programmatic things. I'm talking about waste fraud. Where's the fraud and Medicaid? Which is where I'm, where is it? Haven't showed up with any.
Has anybody been turned over to DOJ for fraud? The problem with Musk, and I said this from the beginning, he gave false hope to this political class. who doesn't want to cut anything. The reason if the big beautiful bill's got all these problems and it has some issues. He drove it because he promised a trillion dollars, ladies and gentlemen, one trillion dollars.
It got him off the hook. It's time for everybody to grow up. Run around. Oh, it's okay. Show me where it is.
Yep, President Trump's right about this.
And I think, look, I think there's probably a little bit of wrong to go around everywhere, and a lot of right to go around as well.
So we'll see how all this plays out. I don't think the relationship has been severed. Just yet between Trump and Elon, but Elon needs to be very careful because Trump doesn't play around. And if you're going to go out there and you're going to keep attacking the president's agenda, There is going to be a price to pay for that, and Elon needs to understand that. But it's a mess right now up on Capitol Hill.
And again, I'm you know, to our audience, what would you say is the most important thing? What do you want to see? President Trump accomplished? What is it going to take to ensure Republicans can win then the midterms? And it I just, again, I don't understand why it is so difficult for us to defund Planned Parenthood, NPR, and PBS.
Why is that such an uphill climb? We have the majority. All right, gotta take a break. 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show.
Aur McDonald's. Bara ba ba ba. All right, welcome back, everybody. President Trump. Announcing that the Muslim terrorist Who set the elderly Jewish people on fire in Boulder, Colorado?
The the White House announcing that they're going to be deporting The entire guy's entire family.
So he's got a wife and five kids. And one of the daughters is an activist radical leftist Muslim. And they're all getting sent back to whatever country they came from, whether it's Kuwait. whether it's wherever it is, Um but they're getting sent back home. Bye-bye.
I think this is a brilliant thing. Honestly, whenever there's one of these Islamic rattles, and this is why you've got to do this, you've got to deport the whole family. When you've got terrorists out there, you've got to deport their whole family because you know they're teaching junior, they're teaching Ahmed Jr. or whoever. Uh the family business.
So better safe than sorry, but if you're a terrorist and you go out there and you try to firebomb Jews, you go and so does your family.
Well, this guy's going to prison.
So, I'm curious to hear your thoughts on that because the Trump administration is all about. They've been all about making sure everybody goes together. And of course, the Democrats are just infuriated over this. They're separating families. No, no, actually they're not.
They're making sure the families are deported together. Because the family that deports together stays together. Oh, that's a nice t-shirt.
So, people are really upset about all of this. And I say, go, deport them all. Every single one of them. Here is, I want to play this audio. This is from Congressman, an interview we did with Congressman Randy Fine from Florida.
Tickalism. I was really moved by something you wrote on X just a little while ago, pointing out that you had a very difficult time sleeping last night as a result of what happened in Boulder.
Well, I did, and thank you for having me today. And look, I'm not just a congressman, I'm a Jewish congressman, and I'm someone who's experienced anti-Semitism my whole life. And to realize that a Holocaust survivor who saw Jews burned 80 years ago would be burned himself. Um in the United States of America in 2025. Is just not a country that I want to live in.
And so today I'm upset, but I'm angry because this was all predictable. They've told us for 18 months, globalize the Antifada. Resistance by any means necessary?
Well, this is what it looks like. And the question we have to ask ourselves now is: what are we going to do about it? You know, Congressman, I just don't get it. The lack of outrage coming from the other side of the aisle. I mean, if this was George Floyd, there would be national outrage, marches, protests, press conferences, the whole nine yards.
And we're just not seeing that. And this was a heinous attack last night.
Well, it is extraordinary, right, when you think about that the left basically destroyed our cities because of the arrest of the violent drug addict. Here you've got eight elderly people who were literally on a peace march that everyone should agree with. No one should be held hostage. They weren't actually marching in support of Israel, they were marching in support of hostages being released. And the lack of anything beyond the occasional Twitter post says a lot.
Look, the fact of the matter is many on the left agree with the guy. Just go look at the comments on my ex-feed, and you'll see many, many people who wish to justify it. Starting in the aftermath, frankly, of George Floyd in 2020, the left legitimized political violence as a method of protest. And so we're seeing it here.
Now there's eight people in the hospital about it. I think what we need to do is act differently. And I think we need to call evil by its name. And we need to say Palestinianism is evil. Free Palestine is a call for the destruction of Israel.
From the river to the sea is a call for genocide. And we saw this happen two weeks ago. We saw this happen yesterday. And it will continue to happen unless we take action.
So what kind of action do we need to be taking here? And by the way, don't forget about the governor's mansion in Pennsylvania getting torched as well, Congressman. That's true.
Well, there's a lot we can do. First, we have to go after our universities. Look, when you're a 45-year-old idiot named Mohamed who lives in Colorado and you're hearing America's finest institutions say Israel is condoing a genocide and killing thousands of babies, it's going to inflame you. And this is coming from our best universities. By the way, none of which are truly private.
They are all dependent on federal funds for their existence. And we ought to shut them down. We ought to simply say you will treat anti-Semitism the same way you treat racism. We should say no more Qatari funding. A lot of this is organized.
Very little of this is organic. And you can see it in the payments to influencers and fake media and things like that to promote this stuff. And then I think we've got to deal with illegal immigration. Look, if this wasn't a call for the illegal immigrants to go home, I don't know what is. If you want to be angry about something, Mohamed Solomon's daughter, who is also an illegal immigrant, will get to go to university in Colorado, subsidized by Taxpayers, unless we throw her butt out of here.
And she ought to be on a plane back to Egypt right now.
So there's a lot we can do. But the good news is, I spent eight years in the Florida legislature. I passed bill after bill after bill to deal with this problem. And if you look at Florida, we don't have anywhere near the kind of anti-Semitic problem they do in the other 49 states.
So you can tackle the issue. You can make it safe for Jews. And as you point out, everybody else. There's a flag they flew on October 7th. Today we come for the Saturday people.
Tomorrow we come for the Sunday people. The only difference between Israel and America is Israel is little and Israel is close. And if they were to get rid of Israel, they're coming for us next. And they're not even coming for us next. They're coming for us now.
I mean, you know, look what happened yesterday.
So I'm worried about where we are. And the question is: are we going to stop talking and are we going to start doing? And it's bad enough that we've got the radical Islamists out there that are wanting to blow us up and set everybody on fire.
Now you've got these Chinese nationals. This story from the Washington Post, where a University of Michigan researcher and her boyfriend are accused of trying to smuggle a dangerous biological pathogen. that could destroy US crops. Two Chinese nationals. Folks, I'm telling you, send all of them back home.
All the Chinese nationals that are studying in American universities, send them back home until we can figure out who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. By the way, this fungus would have especially targeted wheat crops, barley, corn. affecting quality and yield. And by the way, they're using this in other countries, but their plan was to smuggle this, they're calling it a noxious fungus. into the country.
This is insanity. There are a lot of bad people out there. But thank goodness that this White House is cracking down on all this nonsense and they're able to arrest them. And again, there's got to be some sort of a weird thing. We have got to have ferocious punishments for stuff like this, so these Chinese folks will think twice before ever setting foot on American soil again.
That's what they've got to do. All right, folks, we had a mix-up with Liz Peak, so we'll try to get Liz on later in the week. Also, Jason Raypert from the National Association of Christian Lawmakers expected to join us in the next hour. I'll be heading to Liberty University after the show today. I'll be keynote speaking.
I'll be delivering the keynote address to hundreds. I think they've got four or five hundred Christian lawmakers. from around the nation that are going to be gathering at Liberty University for this very important meeting. Also, want to let you know that on Monday, I'll be in Dallas, Texas, and I'm excited to be speaking at a huge event there in Dallas, Texas. And we have information on that over at ToddSterns.com.
Also at ToddSterns.com, I want you to go and we told you about that NFL video. You've got to watch it. The video where the NFL declares that football is now queer.
So you got to go check that out, ToddSterns.com. We have lots of other great stories and content for you to read there as well. All right, hang tight, everybody. We will be right back. This is the Todd Starn Show.
Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's conservative blowtorch. That's right. I love this American.
And round time. Stars.
Well, hello, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Starns Radio Program.
So honored to have you with us today. Woo! My goodness, I'm about to embark on a massive road trip. The one redeeming factor is there is a Buckeys between Memphis, Tennessee, and Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
So I'm I'm very I'm very happy to. I can't wait. I'm going to have dinner. I am saving. I'm not eating lunch.
I'm getting to Bucky's and I'll have one of their brisket sandwiches, which are actually pretty darn good, to be perfectly honest with you.
So, you say, Todd, what is going on at Liberty University?
Well, there is a massive national convention taking place of Christian lawmakers. That's the National Association of Christian Lawmakers, and they have an annual convention, the National Policy Conference, which is getting underway. At Liberty University starting tomorrow, and lawmakers from all over the nation are going to be a part of this. And I've been invited to come and hang out and speak tomorrow evening there at Liberty University.
Well, I want to go to the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line and the head honcho, the guru himself, Jason Raybert. Joins us from the National Association of Christian Lawmakers. Jason, hope you're doing well today. I'm doing great, Todd. And I actually was just sitting here smiling because I was going to be flying to Lynchburg.
But we actually had some delays. And guess what? We made that road trip that you're talking about and passed your buckies.
So you're going to have a good time when you go by buckies. But we're excited to have you coming and being here with us. We have people flying in from all over the nation. And this is the National Association of Christian Lawmakers National Policy Conference. We have you, we have John Solomon of Just the News.
I got a call, Todd, that Lieutenant Governor Winsom Sears is trying to get there.
so that she can address the crowd as well. And we're now really at capacity. for that venue. But as your listeners know, The real key to changing this country Is us to have a revival of God's Spirit and for the people of this nation to put God first in all things. And we have seen over the last several years that when you have ungodly leaders, They pass ungodly laws that lead to ungodly results.
And Psalm 33, 12 says, Blessed is the nation. Whose God is is the Lord. And so we believe that uniting these local, state, and federal elected officials together that are Christians. puts us in position. to do the best that we possibly can for our country going forward.
You know, the national debt's being talked about a lot lately, as you know. Elon Musk and Donald Trump are in the news, right? But guess what? It the matter is the money is just a symptom of what is really the matter in our country. And if we would put God first in all things, you're going to see the national debt, you're going to see violence, you're going to see a lot of the issues that we're dealing with in the country be taken care of because people are truly putting God first.
So we're so happy to have you coming. People can go to Christian Lawmakers.com to find out more about the event. And you're going to really enjoy your time with us. And I think we're going to get the chance to see your new book. Is that right?
That is true. Yes.
So this will be the first gathering where we do a signing for Star Spangled Blessings. And we really hope that the lawmakers take heart the messages here. And just a reminder that the reason why God has blessed America is because we are a people that are on our knees praying to God and understanding that without Him, we would be nothing. Amen.
Well, and so, you know, that is the message. And so we invite people, whether you can get there personally to this particular conference or not. We would love for you to make plans to come and be with us.
Now, Todd, we are planning. to do some live streaming of the actual event. over the next couple of days from the fifth through the seventh.
So people could go out To ChristianLawmakers.com. We'll try to have a reference there where you can find the live stream there. You can even go to my own Facebook page where we'll try to be streaming Jason Raypert on Facebook. We also have an NACL page on Facebook as well. And so I know that we don't have a lot of time with you, Todd, today, but I could literally talk all day.
We're going to be covering the Ten Commandments. We're going to be talking about securing the Internet to make sure the kids aren't taking advantage there. And there will be even a discussion. In fact, I think you know Kevin Freeman. And we're going to be celebrating that NACL lawmakers actually has passed laws in four states.
allowing transactional use of gold and silver. That's a big deal. And so there's going to be a lot of cool policy discussed. but we also are going to be uniting together with the brothers and sisters in Christ who truly want to save this nation. And we're so happy you're going to come and be part of that.
Well, I'm honored to do it. And I think it's such an important mission, what you guys are up to. And I'm telling you right now, Jason, this is the key. With all of the legislation going back to, you know, a lot of what's happening in Washington now going back to the state level, it's just so important that we're electing state lawmakers, representatives, senators, that are people of faith and that are going to stand up and protect religious liberty and family issues in this country. Absolutely.
And you know, one of the things that the Lord does every now and then, He gives you just a little gift. And so, when you think about the NACL, the National Association of Christian Lawmakers. What's really cool is people begin to point out to me and say, Jason, Did you know that we actually, when you look at the acronym of the NACL, it actually is the scientific symbol of salt? and we're to be salt and light in this world today that we live in, and the NACL is being salt and light in the governmental realm in the United States of America. Mm.
Jason Raypert from the National Association of Christian Lawmakers on our Patriot mobile newsmaker line today. You know, Jason, we were talking earlier about Congresswoman Mary Miller from Illinois introducing legislation, a resolution rather, that would declare June family month as opposed to gay pride month. And it was really interesting in her resolution, she talks about the importance of family, and there really is. A nationwide war on the nuclear family in America. Not only are we having to fight the radical LGBT activists, but also Black Lives Matter.
Antifa, a lot of these organizations are anti-family as well. Absolutely, and I want to say I'm glad you brought Congressman Mary Miller up. She spoke at one of our meetings. She is a fantastic congresswoman. I urge people to get to know who she is.
She truly has what I believe is the heart and soul of America in in her own heart. And she talks, and when she talks about these issues, I want to speak from experience. You know, after I left the Arkansas State Senate, Governor Sarah Huckleby Sanders appointed me, Todd, to the Arkansas State Library Board. And when I began to get on there and deal with issues, and I realized that there were grandmothers serving with me on that board. who had no problem with books.
That describes very graphic. Sexual scenes and even had pictures being in front of eight, nine, and ten-year-old kids. I knew something is bad wrong in the country. And this is the type of thing where people hear it and they're listening to the radio, your radio program, or your television program. They think that's happening in other places.
That was Arkansas. That was little old Arkansas was just 1% of the American population. literally hundreds of copies of this smut. in public library shelves around our state. And you literally had people going down to their local church who thinks that's okay.
It's not okay. We have to have a true revival in this country. that is accompanied by repentance. that repentance is what is needed to turn the country fully around. And so Todd, thank you for talking about the NACL, coming to be part of this conference.
And I want everyone that's listening to know we want you. Yeah. You can simply go out to ChristianLawmakers.com and ask God how can you be involved. Maybe you pair up with some of our lawmakers at your state capitol. Maybe you decide to run for the school board.
We're here to help you. We're here to pray for you. We're here to encourage you. And we know that if you will stand up and do the right thing, America has a great future ahead of it. You know, to your point, Jason, about how this is all about local, Millington, Tennessee, which is a very conservative part of the Memphis area.
They're a Memphis suburb, very conservative military town. You've got the Navy installation up there in Millington, and their public library, paid for by our tax dollars, putting out this statement: celebrate diversity and inclusivity of the LGBTQ community with hoopla's curated selection of books, comics, movies, and TV shows showcasing vibrant narratives.
So there you have the public library paid for by the tax dollars of the good people of Millington, Tennessee, and they've turned their library into a gay pride resource center. And while that's going on there, the city of Missoula, Montana. Voted 9-2 to make the pride flag an official city flag. Flag. That's what we're talking about here.
And this is why it's so important that you get good, solid, elected Christians on the local and the state level. Absolutely. You know, Todd, when I'm listening to you just talk about that, I'm thinking Sodom and Gomorrah. Do they not remember the story? You can't continue down this road without real Tragic consequences for any nation.
In fact, I can't tell you of any country, society, or nation that turned its back on God. that actually ended well. They all end in trouble. They all end in sometimes complete destruction. And we cannot let the country go down that road without somebody standing up and saying, no, this is wrong.
And so we need men and women of courage that have backbones of steel That will truly stand up. People just like Moses, who was. Called by God to go and speak to Pharaoh, to speak to power, to say, Let my people go. People like David, King David, that said, You know what? I'm going to go slay that giant.
And he picked up those smooth stones. He took his little sling. He said, Keep your armor. And he went with what he knew he could use for God. And he literally made a complete turnaround by slaying that giant, turning things around for Israel.
And now we read about him today. And so I believe that listening to this call There are women of God like Esther. There are men of God like David that are out here in this country, God's speaking to their hearts. He's touching them, and we need you to respond to that voice because it might just be you. or that are that is the one to turn around your state Your community and this nation.
Well, I love that. All right, Jason, we're going to let you get back on the road. Are you still at the Buckeys or are you already at Liberty University?
So, Todd, I'm about an hour from Liberty University. What happened is, you know, we had plane problems. And so we just headed this King Ranch Ford down I forty. We've had a beautiful trip through Tennessee, your home state, and we're looking forward. In fact, if I'd have known this, Todd, we'd have just stopped and picked you up.
Okay, but we look forward to seeing you. Oh, it's going to be a lot of fun.
So I'll be heading that way this evening. And it's a lot easier to drive to Liberty than it is to fly. I will tell you this, Jason. They flew me and I had to speak at campus, and they, you know, they've got an aviation program there.
So they sent some of their pilots up to fly me down from New York City. And it's a small plane.
So I remember as we were coming in for a landing, those winds picked up and we were literally coming in sideways. And I thought, man, it's a good thing I'm saved. Otherwise, I would already be accepting Christ before we hit the ground. Absolutely. Well, you know what?
I hopefully hope the only thing flying the next five or excuse me, next two days are the spirits of the men and women of God that actually are coming in to take a stand. And so we look forward to seeing you, Todd. Be safe. And we'll see. Thanks, Jason.
All right, Jason Rapen, everybody. The National Association of Christian Lawmakers meeting in Lynchburg. And if you are not a part of this great group, I would encourage you, literally all over the nation, going through and just checking. By the way, Sam Sorbo is our MC. For the week, we've got Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith from Indiana will be joining us.
State Senator Brian Birdwell from Texas. Rick McClure from Arkansas. He also mentioned John Solomon, who will be there. By the way, Representative Bill Riley from Kansas, David Bullard from Oklahoma among those speaking, and a couple of other folks. We have a lot of folks from Texas that are going to be a part of the lineup as well.
All right, we've got to take a quick break here, folks. 901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-2600. 260-5926. And again, head over to ToddSterns.com and get yourself a signed copy of the new book called Star Spangled Blessings: Devotions for Patriots.
We'll be right back. Uh Yeah. All right, let's go to the phone lines. 901-260-5926. Kyle in Memphis, Tennessee, listening to us on KWAM.
Hi Kyle, what's on your mind today? Hey, Todd. Hey, man. Um Yeah, ju I was just gonna mentioned uh it's pretty funny earlier you were talking about the Vermont woman, I guess the congresswoman or the lawmaker from Vermont or whatever. um about what she had to say.
Um You know, that's not the first time we've heard Kind of similar somewhat talk from from the left. I think it was either it was either Schumer or Pelosi a while back. Said something like, you know, they're worried about we don't have enough people to pick the crops. Who's going to pick the berries and the Well, whatever else.
So it's just kind of more of that nonsense. But really what I was going to get at is it's kind of ironic. That Uh Hey, hey, let's just. you know Official leader, lawmaker, or whatever you want to call them, are seemingly, I guess they're concerned. About the population growth in this country.
I guess I don't know if they're concerned with the birth rate, which is actually really low. It's a very low birth rate. experiencing right now. But anyway, it's it's ironic. Because if you think about what the left stand for, well, they're anti-family.
They're anti, they don't like the traditional nuclear family. And what does the traditional nuclear family produce?
Well, they produce children, they have babies, and they Um produce You know, so so life. Uh essentially. And they're also for abortion.
So they're all for for killing unborn kids in the womb. Um They're pro LGBTQ, which LGBTQ lifestyle is, of course, like I just said, it's It goes against. Man, woman. Offspring. That's not for that.
So I just think it's very ironic and very hypocritical for this woman to say, we don't have enough people around. We just don't have enough people. We have to have all these illegals here because we don't have enough people.
Well, gee, maybe we would have enough people. Yes.
the left weren't so obsessed with having queer furries running around, not producing any children. Yeah, and look, it's a brilliant observation, Kyle, and you're right. I mean, right now, modern society and culture. Frowns upon people that are pro-creating. And the fact of the matter is, you've just got really an entire two generations, I would say, millennials and Gen Zers, the older side of the Gen Z crowd, and they just don't see the value in getting out there, getting married, and having kids.
And to your point, If the Democrats would stop killing and slaughtering the children in these abortion mills, then maybe we wouldn't have a declining birth rate in America. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think I want to say last I heard it's around one point I dunno, it's one one point six or one point eight is what our current American birth rate is and Supposedly, it needs to be above two, like 2.2 or 2.3, or something like that, to actually sustain. Long-term sustained civilization.
Well, we've we've got to and you know, I'm telling you, as a Baptist, you know, we've we've got we can't rely on the Mormons just to have five and six kids. The Protestants of America, you got to step up, ladies and gentlemen. We shouldn't be relying on illegal immigrants for that either. No, I mean. Gotta run.
Thanks, Kyle. You know what's interesting about um Someone just mentioned this. You know, Starnes, your book makes a great Father's Day present. Yes, it does, actually. This is a good guy read.
It's late, I mean, ladies love these devotion books. You guys love these devotion books. But this would be a terrific Father's Day present. Star Spangled Blessings Devotions for Patriots. Again, you can, for two more days, you can get a signed copy at ToddSterns.com on our store.
All right, I want to play some audio here. There is a big controversy in Connecticut, of all places, and folks there are very upset over. These books that are in public school libraries. And a state representative there. Uh and uh and I'm just gonna butcher her last name, Dauphinius.
And Dauphinius shared some of the excerpts of this book that kids have access to in their school libraries. I want you to take a listen to Cut Seven, please.
So I would just warn anybody that has children in the room that are listening to this, you may want to remove them. But these are books and excerpts from those books. that are in our school libraries for children. Have you ever given Logan a blow d ⁇?
Now, blow ds. For you, Missy? What about plain old sex? Are you gonna eat her? Oh my god.
Yeah, Earl. I'm going to eat her. Oh my word. Yeah. I would ask that if we not try to use that type of language in the chamber, because there's also people and children watching this debate.
I stand here to share with the Chamber The books that are available in our public school libraries to the very children. You're telling me that this language isn't inappropriate in this chamber. Sure. I will try to change some of the language with pretend words if that works for you. The book is called Lucky.
And it says give me a blow mob. Is that better? This book was Concrete Rose, and let me see if I can rephrase. This was the first time we ever had, I think sex would be okay, without protection. I see what the homies mean.
It do feel different. I'm trying to work with you, Mr. Speaker, on how I say things. I know our children can listen to it, but apparently the adults in the room can't.
So she's in trouble because she actually read some excerpts of these books that are meant for children. Do you understand the insanity here we're talking about?
So, another state representative got up, and this guy's a Democrat. His name is Larry Butler, and he is grossly offended. How dare you read those sexually explicit books? Our grown-up ears can't handle this. Cut number eight.
In my 18 years here today, I never seen the demonstration of such vulgarity tonight. Reaching the lowest level that I've ever seen in this chamber. When we're talking about books in libraries. That's one thing. You could just mention a book, a title of a book.
maybe where they are, maybe they should look into their books. But to actually Repeat. The vulgarity that's in them on this floor. It's something that we should never hear. Who does that?
I am so taken aback.
So offended. I wasn't raised like that. And I certainly didn't come here to hear it. Mr. Speaker.
Again, I would really respect all the views of everybody who rejected this document in front of them But certainly we don't have to stoop to those levels. to disagree. And I won't go any further because In I can't handle his voice anymore. I can't handle that. Does he have like sleep apne or so?
There's something weird going on with his breathing. Maybe he needs an apparatus. Uh All right, stay prep, Larry. I am so offended. Uh by Viv.
Those books are meant for children's ears, not grown-ups. And it just bothers me. Yeah. Yeah, it ought to bother everybody, Larry. For crying out loud.
He's so offended. How dare the adults be exposed to vulgarity that's meant for the children? That's what he's basically saying here. Unbelievable. So, anyway, I'm glad to see that there are a few right-thinking people in the state of Connecticut that are standing up for all of this.
Do any of you people use Uber Eats out there? Any of you folks? This story is, I'm not surprised by this story. But it's still kind of unsettling. An Uber Eats driver is spilling the beans on a host of unsavory, behind-the-scenes behaviors committed by the Culinary Couriers.
From purposely slowing down when customers are rude To swiping your food. Many of the people, well, the people they're interviewing are Uber Eats drivers and they're unnamed, but they're giving the guy a fake name.
So, Tom. Tom is an Uber Eats driver. And he said, I don't make a habit of it, but yes, I I've taken French fries. One night I was out late and had not eaten all day. The bag was open and I even took a nugget.
Not proud of it, but it's also not the first time. Oh Ah, that's disgusting. The delivery man admitted that while he tries to remain professional, sometimes he can't resist the urge to pilfer from a customer's order, especially when the packaging is unsealed or partially open. Here's the thing. It's not so much that the guy's eating a French fry or two.
It's that he's putting his grubby, dirty hands, his fingers. Into your food. Tom says when you're stuck in traffic with someone's fries next to you. And you've not eaten in hours. It's tough.
Why not pack a sandwich? Pack a lunch a brown bag lunch, Tom? Get your grubby fingers off my French fries! One night I was out late and had not eaten all day. The bag was open and I took a nugget.
He says that every delivery driver takes fries whether they admit it or not. Is this true? Have you guys noticed this? Yeah. I've noticed that the drivers get really upset.
So I've used Grubhub every now and again. I'll grab lunch and I'd I'd because I only have about 90 minutes between shows, the Newsmax show and this show, I sometimes I'll do an Uber or a Grubhub. But I stopped doing it. I'm going to tell you why I stopped doing it. The The amount of money It cost more money in the fees than And the delivery and the tip, it cost that cost more than the actual meal.
I just don't even know how Grubhub is. I mean, I just don't know how they're able to survive. I don't get it. I can't imagine people are putting up with this. Tom said that open or partially sealed bags are particularly hard to resist.
According to a U.S. food study from 2019, more than one in four drivers, delivery drivers, were guilty of bunching on the food they were supposed to be dropping off. I I would much rather. The only thing that I have delivered is a on occasion. Is a Papa John's pizza, and I'm a big Papa John's guy.
I love Papa John's. Domino's, not so much. Little Caesars, eh. Not good. Miza Mitza.
Tom says I don't get The same people often, but when I do, I'll make sure their food stays upright, dry, whatever it takes. But if they ignore me, or they slam the door. or they don't give me a good tip, I'm not going out of my way next time. You see, this is one of the other reasons. I've actually been doing the whole Calatron thing, hitting the gym, joining the gym, and trying to eat healthier.
which means not going out uh as much to these restaurants. And one of the concerns I've always had. And and people know people know who I am. And I've always been concerned about The The kitchen staff, you know, are they preparing my food the way they should, or is there a little surprise buried in there?
Now, I've seen what they do to the police officers. It's terrible. By the way, I was reading this other thing on another note.
Someone's posted a photo. of a it's a a fast food style restaurant. I think they do salads and whatnot. And so anyway, there's a big signpost to there, a placard.
So you go in and you place an order for delivery Or not for delivery, but you go in and pick it up, right?
So you're not even eating there. You're just there to pick up the order and take it with you. And the sign says: don't forget to tip your cashier.
Okay. Do you do that, ladies and gentlemen? Do you tip the cashier? Let's just say you walk up and you're ordering a sandwich to go. It seems to me that if you're not going to stay there and eat it, why would you tip?
And do you actually tip at a fast food restaurant? Is that becoming a thing now where you have to tip somebody for your chicken nuggets? What do the young people call 'em now? The nugs? Yeah.
I was walking around the building one day, like, I gotta get me some nugs. And I'm like, is that like an illness? Is that like a skin condition? No, Todd the Nugs. Gotta dip him in some.
Polynesian sauce. The oh, the nuggets. I see. And then I thought it was it's I don't even know how you spell it. I I thought it was like Ted Nugent's, but it's not Nugent's or Nugent, which is that delicious thing in the um Snickers bar.
With the nugs. Got to give me some nugs. All right, let's go to the phone lines here: 901-260-5926. I am curious, though, if you tip. Do you tip when you go to like a McDonald's or a a Chick-fil-A?
I'm curious to hear your thoughts on that. Let's go to Tom in Collierville, Tennessee, listening to us on KWAM. Hi, Tom. What's on your mind today? Good afternoon, Todd, and I do not tip for orders that I pick up myself.
It depends on the situation. I may Just depending on the situation. But normally, no, I don't keep on pick up orders.
However, I would like to give two cents on the story that you just told about The lady saying the available books in public libraries. And this is a sore subject with me. It seems that the people who we have left it in the office. people who are appointed in the office. they're so busy complaining about what the other one has done or what they did in the past or how How they're reading something or how they're partitioning.
that they forget about the people who they're supposed to be serving. They're supposed to be fixing our problems. They're supposed to be making laws better. They're supposed to be working with the public to make this world a better place. And even in a higher government, It seems like everybody's too busy bickering about who did what and look what we did and this person's not on it up to the table.
that they're not fixing our problems. And that just really sits bad with me. And I hope that everybody else can see that and then in the future we make better decisions about who we elect in the office. Tom, there are a few folks out there that You know, that understand their role as a lawmaker. But I think when you get up to Capitol Hill, there is this, you know, you kind of get sucked into the whole power and celebrity of it all.
And that is very easy to do. And I think to your point, maybe some people have actually allowed that to cloud the true reason for them being up there in the first place. That's true.
That's true, Todd.
Well, thanks for taking my call. I just wanted to chime in. Tom, I'm glad you. Do not tip on pickup orders. No, you see, well, Tom, I look, I'm with you on that.
I'm and I'm a pretty generous guy. When I'm going to like how the let's see, Moondance, which is a great a great restaurant in in Germantown. Have you been to Moondance, Tom? No, but I've heard a lot about it. Oh, it's a great place.
Let me let me recommend get the burger if you go. They got a great burger there. But anyway, I digress. But when I go to a place like that, or there's another one, the Forest uh, what is the um oh, there's a grill over in um Oh, Forest Irene. It's really good too.
Forest Hill Grill. I will tip whatever the bill is, I will tip the bill. And that's just something that the good Lord has allowed me to do, and I'm happy to do it. But I'm with you, Tom. If I'm at Chick-fil-A, you know, I know it's their pleasure, but it's my pleasure to take the food and pay for it.
And I don't think I need to pay a tip.
Well, I agree. Thanks for taking my call, Tom. God bless you. Tom, thank you. God bless.
Does that make me a bad person that I don't tip a Chick-fil-A? I I feel really bad now. I will say this in my defence it is super expensive. At Chick-fil-A. I don't Are we importing the birds?
I don't know what's going on at Chick-fil-A, but it's getting expensive. All right, 901-260-5926. Our number, this is the Todd Start Show. People are really fired up. We posted.
I love Grok. If you don't use Grok, you ought to check it out. I asked Grok to create an image. I said, Gronk, I want you to create an image of an illegal alien woman holding a roll of toilet paper while Joe Biden sits on the can. And Grok did.
We've got the. No, I'm serious. Yep. It's just as sad. It's just terrible.
Going back to the story from this Democrat congresswoman from Vermont, and she's very upset because With all the illegals going, she said all of us are going to have to wipe our own butts. And people are really fired up. We have hundreds of people weighing in on our Facebook page. And someone said, No, this is no different than the ones who ask who's going to pick our crops. By the way, that's Jasmine Crockett.
who said she's not going to be out there picking cotton any more, as if she has. And Tony says the Democrat politicians in blue cities and states want as many illegals as possible within their counties so long as they remain isolated from them. It's Martha's Vineyard.
