Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun-totin, Bible-clanging, deplorable American. Yeah. That's right. I love this American ride. Todd Starns.
And hello, America. Welcome to the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Great to have you with us today. Wow, um I trust she had a good A good Memorial Day weekend. A lot going on here, and we are going to be opening up the phone lines momentarily.
I do have to tell you, and those of you watching us on our video stream, a little, we're making a few adjustments, so just bear with us and we'll be getting all of that squared away here momentarily. Write down our telephone number. You will need this today: 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926.
So, over the weekend, and I know this is an unusual starting off point. But over the weekend, we got some news. And those of you who are people of faith, those of you who follow the teachings of our Lord, you know that when someone passes, it is not only a time of sorrow, but it is also a time of rejoicing. And so it's always a moment of mixed feelings, I suppose. But over the weekend, we got word that our good friend and our fellow brother, Phil Robertson passed away, the patriarch of the Duck Dynasty.
He had been dealing with some illness for quite some time now, and Phil had not been well. He had been dealing with a blood disease, and then Alzheimer's, and Miss Kay, by the way, not doing too good either. She took a fall just the other day. But anyway, Phil passed away, and we got word that came down late yesterday or yesterday that Phil had passed on Sunday. And just thinking back about the Robertsons, and I got to know them.
I was one of these guys. I was a Duck Dynasty guy before being a Duck Dynasty guy was cool. And it was a pretty remarkable thing to watch the family and to watch their history going all the way back to A and E. And I don't think that the network at the time understood what they were getting into when they decided to do this reality series based on the Duck Commander and his family there in Louisiana.
So much so that when the if you if you remember back to the early days of Duck Dynasty when it all just when it all started And you watched the promos for Duck Dynasty, you thought you were getting something that looked like it was like coming out of a biker bar. All the imaging and everything, it was really weird. You know, you had these guys with the long beards, and they looked somewhat ominous. And you had no inkling of What the show was really going to be about. I mean, and I think AE, and I thought the AE executives also thought they were getting this, you know, brusk, redneck, hillbilly, you know.
Guns that They had no idea. What Duck Dynasty was really all about. And it took all of one episode. And if you remember at the At the conclusion of the first episode, really all of the episodes, but the very first episode, if you remember, they gathered around the table and they prayed, and they didn't just pray, but they prayed in Jesus' name. And I thought, oh, wait, wait a second.
What's going on here? And sure enough, within just a matter of weeks, and I remember talking about this show on my national radio program at the time, we had Phil and Miss Kay and Uncle Cy and the boys, everybody was they were all regulars on my show back in the day. And it really was this moment where finally American families realized: thank goodness, there's finally a show that we can sit down and watch with our entire family. Family. And that's really the heart of Uh of Duck Dynasty.
That was really the heart of the Robertson family. We got to be a part of their extended family. And it really was going, it took that show, took us all the way back to Mayberry. And so we It was really a special time, I think, in American history because once again, we were able to sit down as families and watch this really amazing show about regular people. You know, it's funny, people always thought that Phil Robertson was some sort of a backwoods hillbilly, but Phil Robertson was a very well-educated man.
He was an incredible businessman. And he went through, and if you haven't seen the movie that dramatizes his life and his eventual marriage to Miss K, you got to watch that. But here is a guy who went through a really rough time in his life and really struggled with God. And eventually, he surrendered his life to God, and the rest is history. And what I found fascinating about all of this is that Phil Robertson.
Whether it be in business or on TV or in the books or the speeches. He always used his platform to advance the message of Christ and this redemption that he personally experienced. And he never strayed from his roots. As a matter of fact, if you look at the entire family right now. Everybody this is one of the the Hollywood success stories.
You know, these are people that are deeply rooted in their faith and their family. and their community. And you can't say that about a lot of these reality TV shows out there. This was really, and maybe this may be a stretch here, but Duck Dynasty. May be the only true reality TV show that is out there.
I mean, they were the real deal, on camera, off-camera. And I know that because I saw it firsthand. You know, several years ago, a little bit longer than that, 2019. I was uh in I was invited to travel to Israel. And I was, it was me and Phil, not Phil, but Willie Robertson and his wife.
And Corey, and we were the celebrity guests on this trip. It was fascinating because Willie, the same guy, that you see on T V. And we spent two weeks together. In Israel. And so, anyway, all that to say, when AE got wind of the first episode, they actually went to Phil.
Phil told me this story. And he said that they pulled him aside and said, You can't do that. You cannot do that. He said, Do what? is as you can't pray You can't pray on our show.
You can't pray on our network. That's just unacceptable. Mm-hmm. And Phil told him flat out: look, here's the deal. If I can't.
If I'm not allowed to pray. If I'm not allowed to mention my faith, then we don't have a show here, guys. And so they relented.
Now the other part of this And this was uh if you this will take you guys back a little bit. Bill Robertson did an interview. With one of the magazines, Vanity. For some reason, I think it was like GQ or anyway, back I cover this. Wall to wall when it happened.
And Phil made a very direct statement that he believed marriage is between a man and a woman, and he strongly opposed gay marriage.
Well, all hell broke loose. I mean, it was insane. All you know what broke loose. I'd never seen anything like it. Mm-hmm.
And they pulled, they suspended Phil from the show. I mean, it was, they wanted to destroy this man. They wanted to... They wanted to knock him out. And I thought it was interesting because at the same time, this was, you might remember Miley Cyrus at the VMAs, and she was barely wearing any clothes, and she mounted this wrecking ball, and it was all the rage.
This was all going on at the same time, and it became the opening line for my best-selling book, God Bless America. I feel like a duck dynasty guy living in a Miley Cyrus world where right is wrong, wrong is right, our values were turned upside down. And it's true. But you know what? It was A and E's loss.
And ultimately, the show ended, and I think a lot of people really missed the. The storylines and the lessons, and Bill Robertson pouring into his grandchildren. Important lessons about life. And if nothing else, I think they set an example for the rest of us that you know what? If you really want to make something of yourself in life, it's not about your career.
It's not about the money in the bank. It's about the time and the investment that you pour into the lives of your children and and grandchildren.
So all that to say. We're going to miss Phil. We're going to miss him, but we're going to see him again. I have no doubt about that. And I keep thinking back to the the show.
And Uncle Psy and the whole The the the craziness of it all. And Phil, by the way, had a great sense of humor. And Miss Kay was an amazing cook, and is an amazing cook. But I'll say this: there was a great line, and I couldn't help it. I wrote about this on social media over the weekend when I heard that Phil had passed.
And I can't imagine he's going up to heaven and he sees everything for the first time and he looks around. I think the first words Phil Robertson uttered in heaven were the same words he uttered on that old AE show, DuckTime. You see, that he is happy, happy, happy. I have no doubt about it.
So, folks, I hope you'll pray for Miss K and the entire family and celebrate the story. of Phil Robertson. But I'll tell you also something else. He loved our president. And he wasn't afraid to tell President Trump.
Trump. Unvarnished truth. And he did it in a very loving way. But Phil Robertson was a huge supporter of President Trump, and he was a huge supporter of the conservative movement as well. And we need more Phil Robertsons out there.
We need those folks that are willing to get up and say what needs to be said. And Phil Robertson was one of those guys. He's really kind of a modern-day John the Baptist, especially with the. The big beard there. All right, got to take a break here, folks.
Again, a lot happening.
Some breaking news coming out of the Supreme Court. We're going to get to that crazy story out of California and Washington State, Seattle. We're going to tell you what's happening there as well. And our telephone number, if you've got a great Phil Robertson memory, give us a call: 901-260-5926. Our telephone number.
That's 901-260-5926.

The good news is tomorrow is Hump Day, everybody. By the way, Senator Marsha Blackburn is going to be joining us in our Memphis studios tomorrow. That is going to be a rollicking conversation as we talk about all of the crazy stuff happening with the president's big beautiful bill. Let me say this about. About the Senate.
Ron Johnson, the senator from Wisconsin, says that he has the votes to stop the big, beautiful bill from happening.
Now there are a growing number of conservatives out there who say this is not one big, beautiful bill. This is one big, ugly bill. And regardless, this is what the President wants. And folks, it and it there are parts of it that are really ugly, but this is what President Trump wants. And I've just firmly believed from day one that we've got to give the President What he wants.
He got elected with a mandate Congress did not. I know there are a lot of people out there that say I'm carrying water. I am not carrying water. The president's never paid me a dollar to say anything. The campaign hasn't advertised with me, which is disappointing.
But still, all I'm trying to tell you is, I have no skin in the game here. I really don't, other than trying to stand alongside our president.
Now, I will say this about Congress. And this is generating a lot of anger. Congress is out. They are on vacation. Long vacation, ladies and gentlemen.
Again. And the reality is, as was pointed out yesterday, that And by the way, and I want you to understand this. This is not an excuse, but you need to understand how the system works up on Capitol Hill. You cannot have any of those codified Doge cuts in the big beautiful bill. You cannot by law do that.
That has to be something that's done separately.
So, I hate to inform you of this, but so far. Not a single Doge cut has been codified. Not a one.
So what does that mean? It means that this is all right now, this is all just political theater. And many people, and here's how this is going to go down. I will just go on the record and say how this is going to happen. Nothing is going to be codified.
We're going to get to the midterm elections, and then you will have members of Congress on the Republican side of the aisle, and they're going to get up and they're going to announce: you Republican voters, you guys have to send us back to Washington so we can codify the Doge cuts. We just did not have time.
So that's going to be the that will be the rally cry. And I think a lot of folks are going to be fooled by that. I will not be one of them. And again, there has to be a sense of urgency about what the Republicans are doing. We do not have a lot of time.
We have got to codify, and hear me on this. The codification will not happen in the lead up to the 2016 midterm or 2026 midterms. And here's the reason why. Because they're afraid it will turn off voters and it will become a rallying cry for the left.
So, what will happen is sometime, if all of this doesn't get done by December, Of this year, it's not going to happen. But then what'll so We'll get to December. The holidays are over. Campaigning is going to begin. And the rally cry among Republicans is: we've got to force through the President's agenda.
We didn't have time to do it. We need two more years to get this done for President Trump. And let me tell you what's going to happen in November of 2026. The Democrats are going to win Congress in a landslide. That's what's going to happen.
Because as much as the Democrat base cannot trust the Democrat Party. We've got the same problem over on our side. The reality is that we could have already been codifying. The reality is that Congress could be back in session today. making sure that Donald Trump's agenda is codified.
Because once Trump and trust me, once the Democrats get control, it's going to be impeachment every single day. That's all you're ever going to hear.
So, if the Republicans do not start codifying, well, Todd, it just takes time. It just takes time. They have to get their offices decorated and they have to get their staff hired. And it just takes time. Be patient.
Trust us. Oh, by the way, I've got some nasty emails. If I were a devious person, I would share the messages I've got. I can't do that. But I will say this A lot of folks in the conservative sphere are very upset with me by pointing all of this out.
And I look, I don't work off of talking points. These people promised Trump's delivering. Elon Musk is a lot. As a matter of fact, Elon Musk is very disappointed right now at how all of this is going down. Very disappointed.
So I'm curious, ladies and gentlemen, are you going, is that good enough for you? Are you satisfied with? with how the Republicans are running Congress right now. What do they need to be doing that they are not doing? 901-260-5926.
Our telephone number today. That's 901-260-5926.

So there have been some rumblings that two Secret Service gals. Female agents, Agent Ets, lady agents, got into a fistfight outside of Barack Hussein Obama's D.C. mansion the other day. And I had heard these rumors. But you know me, I've got to see it.
I got to see the surveillance video.
Well, I'll be darned if the surveillance video hasn't dropped. And sure enough, these gals are going at it. It looks like they're at a Walmart. I've never seen it. I mean, that's the level of violence I'm seeing here outside of Barack Obama's house.
The All of this occurred after one of the agents told her supervisor that she was going to, quote, whoop this girl's ass. I'm going you better get out of here. I'm about to whoop this girl's ass. And so there you go. Maybe just take it to Walmart, girls.
Take it to Walmart. Let's go to the phone lines here: 901-260-5926. Kim in Beaufort, North Carolina, listening to us on the talk station. What's going on? Hi, Todd.
I'm good, Kim. Thank you for asking. Uh yes, I want to get you off speaker. I'm traveling. Just a couple points that I think are very pertinent to the whole situation here.
One is I don't think we're going to get the budget Straightened out, and I don't think we're going to get Congress straightened out. without term limits. without a limit on what PACs can give to congressional candidates, And without some legislation to say that they cannot continue to overspend the budget. Right now, people in America. cannot overspend what they bring in.
Because if they don't have the money at a point the banks are not going to loan them the money because they don't have the wherewithal to pay back. What they're born at. The government needs to run on the same fiscal responsibility as the taxpayers.
So they need to have a budget resolution because they cannot spend out of the budget. They need to have term limits And they need to control the amount of money PACs can give to congressional candidates. I mean, they got on their high horse about three airplanes that got given to the president. And I'm like, really? Commerce, you take money every single day for packs for your votes.
And you're going to complain about an airplane, really?
Okay. Yes, and juniors can that be? Kim, the big the big scandal here, and and and this is a a scandal of biblical proportion. When you look at just look at all of the the all of the members of Congress, but take the ones that have been there the longest, all right? When they entered Congress, they were making a pretty good salary, right?
But these people were not multimillionaires many times over when they were elected. I'm curious to know how these people became multimillionaires many times over. When their only day job was bringing in about $176,000 a year. It just tells me that they're in the pocket of big pharma, big business, the military-industrial complex, and they've got millions of dollars writing on this.
So they have no interest in we the people. It's all about servicing the lobbyist. Totally agree. And DOJ needs to investigate where every one of those trillions of dollars went to payments that they now can't trace, to the people that were two, to the people that were one hundred and two. All of that needs to be traced and needs to be held accountable for the people that have spent over five trillion dollars of money that can't be traced.
At one time, I was a bank auditor, and I promise you, when I was a bank auditor, every penny in that bank could be traced, or they would go to the person and figure out where the money was. And everything can be traced, and it does need to be traced, and there needs to be some accountability in Congress, like there's accountability to everybody else that walks the street of America. Kim, I mean, you're making a lot of sense here, and it scares me, Kim. Because we need common sense in America, and you got a heavy dose of it.
Well, thank you. And I tried, but this is just beyond the pale of what they're sending our children and our grandchildren to have to deal with because of their irresponsibility. Half of them have never held a job, half of them have never made payroll, and none of them begin to understand of what the magnitude of the interest On compounded debt actually means. They have no concept. Do you know who I feel bad for out of all of this?
I feel bad for Elon Musk. He put everything on the line. I mean, they're burning down Tesla dealerships. They're going after his bottom line. And it could end up being all for nothing.
You know, Elon has gone in there with his team. They've uncovered. And by the way, it's not just wasteful spending, Kim. And this is the tell right here. This is about fraud.
They have presented evidence of fraud to the feds. And, Kim, as you and I are sitting here hanging out today on the radio, not a single person. Nobody's been arrested, nobody's been indicted, nobody's been charged. Not not a single person. They need to investigate it and they need to hold every single one of them accountable because there's no possible way.
That people don't know where the money went, and there's no possible way that they can't find the money. And they need to trace it and hold people accountable who have taken advantage of the taxpayers of America by getting money and frivolously spending it on illegal things, giving it to people that weren't supposed to get it. And it needs to be corrected. Kim, I'm with you 1,000% there. And I am liking the idea of term limits more and more every single day.
I I keep going back. Go ahead, finish your thought. There's people in Congress that have been in Congress longer than I've been alive. That's a problem. That is a huge problem because they then become a part of the problem.
They're not the solution anymore because they're the ones that created the laws and the regulations that they're voting on. And one question for you: Would you vote yourself out of a job? No, you're not going to vote yourself taught out of a job.
So, why does any single legislator want to vote for term limits? Because they're voting themselves out of a job. And instead of getting a cushy salary and having 15, 20, 30 weeks off a year, they're going to have to go back and work like everybody else 52 weeks a year. There needs to be term limits. And when the Constitution was set up, nobody Dreamed that we would have take-advantage people running America like we do now.
They're moochers. Take-advantage people. They're moochers. That's what they're professional moochers. And you're right.
I mean, you and I had to go back to work today. and members of Congress, and they'll come back and they'll push back and they'll say, well, we're back in our districts and we're out there going and meeting our constituents. And I get that. That is part of the gig. But the reality is, we don't need them back in the districts.
We need them in Washington working around the clock.
So, that we can codify all of these Trump executive orders. Otherwise, All of this, and this is the shocking part, all of this has literally been for nothing. And again, I feel worse for Elon Musk because he's put it all on the line and he's getting screwed.
Well, so did Donald Trump eight years ago. He put it on the line, and you see what happened to him and his businesses. It's the same thing that's now happening to Elon Musk. They neither one of them needed the money from America. Neither one of them took money from America.
They put everything they had on the line and instead of people appreciating it and saying, thank you for trying to unearth the corruption in government. They're being crucified by the media. We're trying to help rectify A Century-long problem. Kim, got a run. Great, great comments, great conversation.
Thank you for listening. 901-260-5926. David writing in on our Facebook live stream. Todd, the Republicans don't care if anything is codified. Their lives are not affected one way or the other.
And that goes back to Kim's point. These people, they're not held accountable to anybody. They're going to be up there for 20, 30 years. And they're getting big money, big money. That's why Trump is having such a difficult time getting his agenda through Congress right now.
And I hate it for the president. By the way, President Trump announcing. Earlier this morning, the That he's done with California and Gavin Newsom. You know, they have refused to comply with the President's executive orders regarding girls, boys and girls' sports, and vice versa.
So the president said: here's the deal. We're going to withhold all your federal funding. You refuse to comply. We will withhold all federal funding from California. Good for you, Mr.
President. Good for you, sir. And again, this goes back to A simple truth that we saw unfold in the first Trump term. And that's when Paul Ryan was running things. And what did we see?
What did we see, ladies and gentlemen? When Paul Ryan was out there, he fought. He fought Trump tooth and nail behind the scenes. That's what he did. He sure did.
All right, let's head to the phone lines here. 901-260-5926. I want to go to Patrick in Commerce, Georgia, W-D-U-N, and has a Phil Robertson story. Hey, Patrick, what's going on? Hey, how you doing, sir?
I'm good. Thank you for asking. What's on your mind? I was listening to you on WDUN out of Gansville, Georgia. And happened to hear what you were saying about Bill Robinson.
What a cool family! And I used to love to watch that program. And I had a I didn't have a direct contact with it, but I have something in context I think you'll get a kick out of. When I was a senior in high school, I was uh living in Pensacola, Florida, and I went with my first cousin to see a Goss Hawks game, which was the semi-pro team that the Naval Air Station in Pensacola had, and they got a lot of graduates. right out of the Naval Academy.
And one of their newest additions was the gap playing quarterback for them by the name of Roger Stahlbach. And they have they play a lot of the two A schools And that game that I went to that night uh was southeastern Louisiana. And the quarterback, starting quarterback for southeastern Louisiana, was Phil Robertson.
Now, let me just be a Now, Patrick, let me jump in here because I know this story quite well. It was actually Louisiana Tech that he played college ball at. Ah, okay, okay. Yeah, what was so cool though was I got a I got a little preview of a Super Bowl years away when Starbock And uh the guy that played uh for Robinson. His little stand in was a guy named Terry Bradshaw.
And I got to see a preview of what a Super Bowl quarterback matchup was going to be in about 20 years. Or no, probably more like about ten years later. Bradshaw was their quarterback.
Well, it was. Robertson was hurt, I'll say. Yeah, so Robertson, when he played at Louisiana Tech, and he was an incredible athlete in high school, he was all-state in football. Baseball and track. And so he went to Louisiana Tech on a football scholarship, and he was the first ring quarterback ahead of Terry Bradshaw.
So it was and they had they used to joke about that a lot in later years that Robertson could have potentially gone on to play in the NFL, but decided not to. That's remarkable, wasn't it? What was it, Robertson? There was a great quote: Terry went for the bucks and I chased after the ducks. Yeah.
So good.
Well, listen, I so much enjoy listening to you, and God bless the Robertsons. They're absolutely a wonderful family. And you know, just a real group of simple Everyday wonderful Americans, and I think we could all take lessons from them. You're absolutely right about that, Patrick.
Well, thank you for calling it. It is a great story. By the way, Phil Robertson. Again, going back to this notion that, oh, he's just a hillbilly. He's just a good old boy from the swamps of Louisiana.
This guy had a master's in education.
So, Phil Robertson, a very smart man. And again, we're going to miss him. We're going to miss him a whole lot. All right, we've got to take a quick break here: 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Starred Show.
All right, let's get to the phone lines here. Boyd in Newport, North Carolina. Hey Void, what's going on today? Yes, Mr. Darns.
Mm-hmm. like I need to vent. I'm so angry I could bite a sixteen penny nail in two. the way these uh polications are Uh uh small enough. in a ball in the fetal position, afraid they're gonna hurt somebody's feelings if they do what we voted.
For them to do. And It just it just aggravates me that That they stay in in Washington a couple of days and they'd go home for a week. And I I just can't understand why they can't do the job we Uh uh that we uh Elected in poor. It's a great point, Boyd. And I'll say this, even about President Trump, this idea the President says, well, you know what, if you guys in California don't follow through, I'm going to do this.
Just do it, mister President. They've openly defied you. Don't give them another chance. Defund them. That's what we elected you for, sir.
That's right. I think we ought to just cut all the money off to them and say, Then for yourself, if you don't want to do what's good for the country, Just dumb. Make it on your own. You know, Boyd, here's what gets me about this. We now know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Joe Biden was not running the country.
And by the way, Biden, going all the way back through his entire political career, has either been an opportunist or a centrist at his heart. That's who he's always been. And that's why so many people were shocked at how far to the left. I mean, he governed to the left of Barack Hussein Obama. And now we know the reason why, because he wasn't governing.
You had all these people in his inner circle. By the way, Jake Tamper called them the Pollet Bureau. Which is an old Soviet term. we had communists that have been running the country for the past four years and nearly destroying the republic.
So now is not the time for threats.
Now is the time for action. If you're not going to do what the President says, boom, there's a price to pay. That's for sure. I mean, I just feel like I'm sitting here with my hands tied. I know there's only so much I can do, but.
It seems like the politicians that we elected could do some of the things that we elected them for. What is it that Cash Patel and Dan Bongino and Pam Bondi have been telling us?
Well, before they got nominated and they got put in their positions, they were like, we're going to drop the hammer.
Okay, it's been, what, five months? Wh when's the hammer going to drop? Yeah, where's the hammer at? Where is the hammer? Do what they say they're going to do.
That's it. Exactly. If you weren't going to do it, then just don't say you're going to do it. But if you're going to say you're going to do something and you don't do it, that's on you. They just need to go back home and ball up in the fetal position and let somebody with some guts.
Do the job. I guess, or somebody's got something on somebody. That's one of two things here, and both of them are not good options. I know it.
Well, one may be worse than the other. Anyway, go ahead and finish your thought boy. I just cannot quit thinking that God put President Trump in this office for a purpose. And I know he's got everything under control. But uh It just aggravates me that Satan's working so hard to destroy everything that he's trying to do.
We are battling an evil force. I have no doubt about that, Boyd. I truly believe that. And we need, you know, again, there are people that don't believe this is a religious battle. Oh, I believe it's 1,000% a spiritual warfare that we're dealing with here.
Truly believe it. And I will say this about Phil Robertson. He nailed it. He knew exactly what we were dealing with in this country. And it really is spiritual warfare.
Got to run, Boyd. Thank you for the call, and thank you for listening. 901-260-5926, our number. By the way, we are doing a huge Book launch party coming up in Memphis on June the 12th. And this is, we're going to give away some free tickets to this, VIP tickets, and it's going to be a lot of fun.

We'll be right back. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr. That's right. I love this American. And hello, everybody.
Welcome to the Todd Sterns Radio Program.
So very happy to have you with us. Hour two of the big show underway. Wow. You know, I knew I was forgetting to do something during the last hour of the show, and it dawned on me during the commercial break. By now, whoops, I forgot to mention this.
So, anyway, ladies and gentlemen, bear with me. It's Tuesday, but in my mind, it's still Monday.
So, look, we're very excited about June. This is going to be a huge, huge month for us. My brand new book is going to be coming out on June 17th. On June 12th, we're going to be doing a big book launch celebration.
So, those of you in the Memphis or the Mid-South area, you're going to have the opportunity, and we're going to be doing some VIP ticket giveaways, but you're going to have the opportunity to come be a part of our book launch celebration. Great food. Music, and you'll be able to purchase copies of my book.
Now, those of you who are not, and I was talking to our team about this, and again, I felt bad because we're only able to do one book launch party. And of course, we are going to be traveling across the country this summer, and we're going to be pretty busy. I can tell you that much. We're not quite ready to release our lineup of where we're going. That being said, we have worked out an opportunity for you, and it's only for the next week or so that we're going to be able to do this.
But if you go to ToddSterns.com right now, click on our store tab at the very top of the page, our store link, you will be able to purchase a personally autographed, personally signed and inscribed copy of Star Spangled Blessings. And I will do that for you. This is a very limited time, and we only have a couple of hundred books that we're going to be able to do this for.
So if you want a copy and if you want a personally autographed copy, go right now to toddstearns.com and we will take care of that for you and we will get that to you. The reason why we have a limited number here is because the books are, this is an extremely popular book. And I know Amazon, for example, has already ordered thousands of copies. Walmart, Target. Books a million Barnes and Noble.
People are really excited about this little project.
So that's why we wanted to make sure that we were able to give you, and a lot of people ask: all right. Starns. Fess up. Do you use the auto pen? No, I do not.
And how dare you? How dare you ask that question? But it's a fair question. No, I don't use an auto pen. Every single book.
Every single book is signed by yours truly.
So I just want you to know that. And that's an important thing for me to do. If you're going to take the time to go and buy my book, then by golly, I'm going to take the time to inscribe it for you.
So, anyway, head over to ToddSterns.com right now and get yourself a signed copy. And you'll be able to get those, and you'll actually get them before the book hits the bookstores. But again, we only have several hundred copies that are available for that, so that will go quickly. All right. Wow, where do we go, ladies and gentlemen?
There is so much to talk about. President Trump over the weekend. was um was making a or giving an address Over at West Point, it was the big, the big commencement address. And the president has been delivering on his campaign promises. I will say this: if Congress was doing half the work that President Trump was doing, we would be celebrating every single day on this radio program.
Every single day. Anyway, the President He realized right away that the military had gone woke. That instead of having the fiercest fighters in the world. During the Barack Hussein Obama years and the Joe Biden years, We had a bunch of pronoun confused drank queens, and those were the people that were supposed to protect us from the enemy. And it's hard to do that.
It's hard to find in the front lines if you're wearing stiletto heels. I'm just telling you, it's difficult.
So anyway, the President announced at West Point that those days are over. That those days are all that it's gone. We're not going to be having critical race theory stuff in the military. We're not doing the transgender stuff either. Cut 13.
Trump administration canceling all these remaining. I apologize. That was the wrong anyway, we'll get you the President's comments here momentarily. Also, the President Talking about Harvard, and the president now reportedly sent to cancel all federal contracts. With Harvard cut thirteen.
The Trump administration canceling all these remaining government contracts with Harvard, $100 million worth. Yeah, it's a lot of money there, and those are the remaining federal grants.
So, essentially, what we know is that the administration is expected at any moment, as soon as this afternoon, to send a letter to federal agencies telling them to cancel all of their existing federal contracts with Harvard. But it actually goes further than that. It tells them to not consider Harvard, but consider other options in the future instead of Harvard, which would effectively kill the entire grant program with the federal government.
Now, I want to read you part of the letter that CNN obtained. This is what's expected to go out. It says, We recommend that your agency terminate for convenience each contract that it determines has failed to meet its standards and transition to a new vendor. It says, Going forward, we also encourage your agency to seek alternative vendors for future services where you had previously considered Harvard. Agencies have time, but just until June 6th to respond, which with what cancellations they have.
Actually, done. And remember, as you guys have just noted, this is just the latest and an ongoing escalation. I want to take a look at what we have seen from the White House, from the administration, when it comes to Harvard, really for the last month here. Starting back in April 14th, they froze $2.2 billion in grants. April 15th, they threatened Harvard's tax-exempt status.
April 17th, they demanded international student records. May 13th, they froze another $450 million in funding. May 22nd, they moved to bar international students. May 26th, they considered redirecting $3 billion from Harvard to trade schools. And then, of course, May 27th, we're here where we are expecting this White House to send this letter, the GSA General Services Administration to send this letter to federal agencies to cut those remaining federal contracts.
So clearly an escalation here. Of course, as we know, Wolf, the administration has accused Harvard of having liberal bias, of allowing anti-Semitic behavior on campuses, among other things. All right, well, there you go. Again, Mr. President, don't threaten.
Do it. Just defund them. Defund them right now. And by the way, the the President Is fighting not only the Republicans, the fighting the president's also fighting the courts. And the Democrats.
But the President's just he's just got a soldier on here.
Meanwhile, this story out of Colorado. NPR and three Colorado public radio stations have filed a lawsuit. this morning. And they are alleging that the president's executive order. That bans Congress from funding NPR and PBS is unconstitutional and is an attack.
On the First Amendment. I want to read this statement to you, this statement coming from NPR. It is not always obvious when the Government has acted with a retaliatory purpose in violation of the First Amendment, but this wolf comes as a wolf, The order targets NPR And PBS expressly because, in the President's view, their news and other content is not fair, accurate, or unbiased. This is NPR. Wow.
Uh I feel like I want to get a free tote bag after reading that.
So, anyway, I don't, but how do they do that? I'm out of breath. You have to be breathless when you read, but this is the NPR style. They're very breathless over there.
So National Public Welfare Radio and the Public Welfare Radio Bro or Public Broadca Public Welfare Broadcasting Network, they believe that there is some sort of a constitutional mandate that we have to fund their They're nonsense. And again, I got no problem with their content, right? If that's what they want to broadcast, have at it. Just don't use my tax dollars to fund all that stuff. Yeah.
If I wanted to watch British period dramas, I will pay for it on my own time. I don't want my tax money being used to fund that nonsense. And that's all President Trump is saying here. But anyway, NPR believes that they have a constitutional right to your money. I sincerely disagree.
I know, by the way. That has made me, I just didn't realize this when I moved back home to Memphis. My town, my hometown. The place of my birth. It is so liberal.
And if you think your local public radio and public TV folks are liberal, you need to come on down to Memphis, Tennessee. But I got wind that there are some places where I am just not welcome. And the reason why is because I've offended the sensibilities of these NPR. PBS people, WKNO is our local racket here. I'm just telling you, they take it personally.
And again, I got no problem with them. They're a bunch of lunatics. But don't use my tax money to fund your lunacy. That is all I'm asking here. 901-260-5926, our telephone number.
That's 901-260-5926.
Speaking of the First Amendment, So Scott Pelley from 60 Minutes, just again to illustrate. What we're dealing with here, these people are not fair arbiters. They're all liars. And we saw that through Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson's book, Original Sin. By the way, the Original Sin, if you want to talk about Jake Tapper, was the stuff happening in these newsrooms.
That have all been turned into these radical propaganda centers. Anyway, Scott Pelley. Was invited to deliver the commencement address at Wake Forest University. It used to be a fine Baptist institution, and then they stripped the Baptist Baptist out of it, and then they became a a Christian university, and now they're a CINO school, Christian in name only. Their mascot, by the way, is the Demon Deacons.
That goes back to the Baptist roots. Anyway, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Scott Pelley, speaking to the graduates here, and normally. And I'm going to paint with a broad brush here. But normally when you're the commencement address speaker, You want to give the children some knowledge.
You want to drop a little bit of knowledge on the children. Riders are about to go off into the world. I've had to do this a time or two. And you don't want to be long-winded at all. You want to get to your point because, as Governor Mike Hockabee told me, he gave me some advice about giving commencement addresses back in the day.
And he said, you want to understand this. Your speech, your commencement address is the only thing standing between that graduate and their diploma.
So you got to make it fast. And I'm like, no problem. I get it. It's hot, you're wearing the gowns, the robes. People are fanning themselves.
They want to get out of there, they can get down to the Bob Evans or, you know, the Golden Corral for the postgraduate lunch. Or if you're you know rich people, the red lobster. Maybe the Olive Garden. I get it. So, anyway, and you want to drop some knowledge, but you want to do it in a good, positive way.
You want them to feel good about who they are and about. Launching out and being the the next generation of great American patriots.
Well, along come Sixty Minutes and Scott Pelley. And this guy just he was Not well received. By Wake Forrest, as he got up there and commits to ripping President Trump. Take a listen. But in this moment.
This moment, this morning. Our sacred rule of law is under attack. Journalism is under attack. Universities are under attack. Freedom of speech.
is under attack. and insidious fear. is reaching through our schools. Our businesses our homes and into our private thoughts. The fear to speak.
in America. Power can rewrite history. with grotesque, false narratives. They can make criminals heroes. and heroes, criminals.
Power can change the definition. of the words we use to describe reality. Diversity. is now described as illegal. Equity.
is to be shunned. Inclusion is a dirty word. This is an old playbook, my friends. There is nothing new in this. Good luck to you, kids.
That's all I got. Can you imagine? It's geez. You're saying there. And the reporting was scattered, a smattering of applause.
People are like, well, What the heck is going on? What is this guy talking about? I will say this, though. He is right about one thing. Journalism is under attack.
The First Amendment is under attack. But it's under attack from within. It's people like Scott Pelley who are the enemy. I mean, these newsrooms have been infiltrated by these far left lunatics, and they've turned all of these great newspapers and magazines and dare I say radio stations as well and T V stations into the propaganda centers for the left. And let me say something about corporate radio for just a moment.
Corporate radio? I know many of you are probably listening to conservative radio. Or at least a talk show on one of these corporate stations. Let me say something about those corporate stations. They don't want true conservatives working for them.
They don't because they're all run by leftists as well. Every b everything has been infiltrated. And especially on the local level, I'll give you an example. Over the weekend, terrible story, but it had a happy outcome. You had um you had a shoplifter.
And the shoplifter got caught. They called the cops, happened in front of a Lowe's, and Shoplifter. Decided to pull out a machete.
Well, it turns out the cop didn't have a machete, but he didn't have a service revolver, so the cop put down the bad guy. That's the happy ending here, and the cop is okay.
So I will say this about the media coverage. Not a single media outlet in Memphis, Tennessee got the story right. They didn't talk about the guy with the machete trying to kill the cop, though the headlines were. Memphis police shoot shoplifting suspect. Yes, because he was trying to hack a police officer to death for crying out loud.
That, ladies and gentlemen, is the leftist bias I'm talking about. 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show. All right, welcome back. Welcome back, everybody.
I'm I've got to play this for you here. Interesting. Interesting story out of Mesa High School, where a student was banned. From wearing a military stole at graduation. Let's take a listen at Cut 11, please.
Here's on the Army National Guard stole that was given by my recruiters for enlisting. This military stole fills Daniela Rascon Rivas and her father, Jose, with a lot of pride. I'm so, so proud. I'm very proud. We've been supporting here 100%.
It would mean a lot. It would show my classmates that I am enlisted in the Army and that I'm fighting for them, keeping our country safe from foreign and domestic enemies. But she says a Mesa High School director brought her down to the office last week to explain the district policy against wearing the stole at graduation. I was disheartened. I was disappointed.
I felt betrayed. Yeah, I mean It's kind of a shock. I mean, the kids get to wear their Pardon me, their L G B T gear. They get to wear the uh the rainbow stuff. But you're telling me that a student who has signed up to join the military.
to put our life on the line, to defend our freedom. Come on, you're telling me that's not allowed? Yeah, I got a big problem with that as well. Unbelievable. All right, got to take a quick break here, folks.
901-260-5926. Do not forget, head over right now, ToddSterns.com, click on our store link. And get yourself one of the limited, and I mean very limited edition autographed copies of my brand new book. We'll be right back, everybody. By the way, our good pal, Ben Dieter, who is now in charge of Congress, no, he's working in Congress.
You know, if Ben Dieter was Speaker of the House, I guarantee things would be getting done. Anyway, Dieter's going to be coming back for the big book launch celebration. I know that a lot of our Mid-South, our Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas crew, you guys are going to enjoy getting to catch back up with Dieter. But I wish he was here because as I was reading through this article last night, I kept thinking about Ben Dieter. Here is the headline: Gen Z is missing these crucial skills, among them.
How to change tires. How to change oil Cassie, why are you laughing? You know it's true. Ha ha ha. As soon as I got to the change the tire part, I thought, oh, that's Ben Dieter talking about Dieter.
Even my husband can change the tire. He's Gen Z.
Well, he's Gen Z. I don't, yeah, we're not painting with a broad brush here. I'm just talking about Dieter. While Gen Z might be a tech savvy generation, Apparently, they are missing out on some important life skills, and people are beginning to weigh in. Gen X, millennials, and boomers.
And they're saying that, for example, younger people under the age of 40 have no social filter in the workplace. You know, we got to bring in Josh Jones on this. Josh Jones, our great Republican strategist, you see him weekly on the Todd Stern Show on Newsmax. And, Josh, for the record, you're a Gen Zero. Are you a Gen Zero?
I am, I am God.
So these are your people. These are my people. And listen, I mean, it's pretty true.
So speaking from first-hand account. But you're from like, but you're from farm country, right?
So I have to imagine that you've got, I mean, you have like farm-like skills. I'd like to think so. I mean, I don't want to be too self inflating, but I'd like to think I have like a good grasp on most most of those hard skills that Jim D's lacking.
So you know how to change a tire or check your oil? I do, I do. Luckily, I haven't had to yet, but if the occasion comes up, I'll be ready to rock and roll. I'll never forget the first time I. Ben, Ben Dieter.
Oh my Lord. He had he was having a problem with his car, and I said, Well, did you check your oil? And he goes, What? And I said, Well, the dipstick. And he goes, What's a dipstick?
That's funny. Oh, geez, Lou. All right, I'm going to catch it, but uh, it is true.
So, this is interesting. They say younger people under the age of 40 have no social filter in the workplace, they just let everything out without even thinking and constantly over-share. Is this true? I mean, not speaking from a person account, but I mean, like, the reality is with Gen Z, as some of that is, Gen Z is like, we've been.
So desensitized to everything just because it feels like there's a crisis every other day, according to the media.
So, like, I would assume that's true. I don't know. But based on just what Gen Z's experienced so far in life, I would bet so. Oh, this is fascinating. I don't want you to reply to this one, but I just found this.
Apparently, they stopped teaching sex ed. One person writing in, I heard some of the kids at work talking about it. One of the guys said he had to Google how to use a condom. He was 23.
Well, what are they teaching at SexEd? Don't answer that, Josh. I'm just scrolling down through this here. Knowing how to research, find information, and not only apply it, but be able to apply it to other subjects. They're saying Gen Z has a reading comprehension and media literacy issue.
You know what? I would be prone to agree with this. Oh, yeah, me too. I mean, and I'm guilty of it myself. Like, we live in such a like.
Short attention span in like a short content media market now where people just want to watch something or read something for 15, 30 seconds, and then just move on.
So, I mean, I catch myself being guilty of it as well. I'll start reading an article and get like halfway through it and be like, all right, I'm ready to move on to the next one. It's a problem, that's for sure. It's an interesting generation, but I will say this: this is also, I would say, the younger part of this generation is actually probably more with it and more put together, especially when it comes to deciding: you know what, maybe I want to go to a trade school. Maybe I don't need to spend all that money on a college education.
You know, maybe I can make my money doing something else. Yeah, no, totally agree. I mean, like, there is like a great, maybe not great, not the right word, but there is a divide within the Gen Z community because like those on the younger side of the Gen Z spectrum age range kind of like are more of that mindset. And like you see it politically reflected too, not that like jumping to politics, but you see it politically reflected too versus the folks in Gen Z who are a little bit on the older side.
So that is like an interesting divide there. One final headline before we talk politics. This is from today's New York Post. Today's New York Post. Gen Z is signing up for adulting 101 classes because they can't handle even basic life skills.
Yeah. Hold on, hold on. Wait, why do people hate on Gen Z? Hey, wait, Cassie, are you a Gen Zer or are you millennial? I'm a Jun Z.
So, what's the problem here? Why is your generation? People are cramping all over you guys. I I don't know. I I ca I can't stop it.
It's gonna happen anyway. Is it true though?
So apparently they're saying that a lot of kids just grew up and they didn't learn how to do the basic things like balance a checkbook. Yeah, I mean, as someone who recently, relatively recently, anyways, came through the public school system, like, They don't do it like so some schools, uh, I can't speak for all schools, don't do a great job on teaching, like, how do you do taxes? Or, like, how do you, like, you know, actually know how to cook and like prepare meals for yourself.
So, I am not super surprised, like, just based on my like seeing some of my peers in the past. I won't name names, but No, no, no. I'm not gonna look, I'm not blaming I don't blame Gen Z for this, it sounds like Gen X screwed up, or at least millennials or whoever birthed you guys, they should have done a better job. And look, when it came to public schools, I will tell you guys this: the girls, I mean, just by and large, girls went to home economics and the guys went to shop class. And by the time you graduated, you not only could do algebra and whatever, but you knew how to like.
Cook a meal, and the guys, you knew how to change attire or check your oil.
So there were some basic life skills that you were actually getting when you went to public school. Jeez, a lou. Yeah, no, it's definitely changed up. I mean, I don't know like I said, I don't know if it's Gen X or older millennials or who's to blame or where the where the laser's at. But yeah, it seems like a like a lot of parents just assume that the schools are going to teach these skills now and like so the parents like don't invest in it and then also the schools aren't doing it.
So like nobody's doing it is my assessment. But I I'm by no means an expert. Joshua. My generation, on behalf of Gen X, I just want to apologize. I think we have failed your generation.
Yeah. Very sad. All right. I just wanted to clear the air on that.
So, Cassie, I apologize. Todd, you're gonna fall over when you hear this. Make sure you're sitting. I'm sitting. I I don't even own a checkbook.
Oh good lord. What's wrong with this country? What is wrong with this country? Yeah. Oh, gosh.
Josh Jones on our Patriot mobile newsmaker line wondering why in the world he is on the program today. Josh, can we talk politics for just a moment here?
So it looks as though. Trump is having some issues with this big, beautiful bill, and the Senate is now stepping in, and Ron Johnson says the President doesn't have the votes. I'm wondering here, what is the issue? And do people in DC not understand the word compromise? Right.
Well, that's a key word right there is compromise. Because the reality is, I mean, within the Republican Party, it's such a big tent that, like, you are going to have these ideological and political differences within the party. But you have to, it's a give and take, and you have to make a deal with your fellow Republicans. Otherwise, the Democrats are going to get what they want, or no bill is going to get passed at all, and taxes go up at the end of the year.
So you have to be like compromising and take a common sense approach to it. But yeah, it's interesting to see how this fight's going to shape up in the Senate with the bill coming through the House and credit to Speaker Johnson for shepherding that through.
So off to the Senate now, we'll kind of see as that debate becomes more public of where everybody's standing. I know that you work a lot with candidates, and of course, midterms are coming up. And it just concerns me that this could become an issue with a demoralized Republican base if we do not see action being taken on things like codifying the president's agenda. Yeah, totally agree. This bill is the first major flagship piece of legislation of the second Trump administration.
And this bill also, too, delivers on a lot of the campaign promises that Trump made during the election cycle last year.
So it's imperative both for the Trump administration, but also for Republicans across the board, particularly those who are going to be on the ballot next November, to get this done so they can go back to their districts and list off all these accomplishments and wins that they got for their constituents in D.C. Whereas if this bill fails and they have nothing to show for their time in D.C., then the voters probably most likely aren't going to be very kind to them. Yeah, I'm with you there. All right, we got to leave it there.
So, Jones, you're coming down for the big book launch bash. I am. I am. I'm looking forward to it. It'd be my first time in Memphis.
So I'm excited, and it should be a good time. Pax and Cavalar.
So just saying. Notice. Better safe than sorry. All right. Josh Jones, always good having you on the show.
Thanks, Josh. Big thought. All right, poor guy, we were gonna talk politics. I kind of feel bad, Cassie, because. I just held him accountable for his entire generation.
I should have he should have checked the fine print in the contract. All right, we got to take a break here. 901-260-5926. Again, that's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show.
Well, I am intrigued by this story out of the New York Post today. The kids can code TikToks in their sleep, but they cannot cook rice without a YouTube tutorial. Gen Z flocking to adulting 101 crash courses, desperate to learn what previous generations might call common sense. Among the things that Gen Zers are trying to figure out how to do, how to do the laundry. budgeting for rent, or navigating a grocery store without googling What is a turnip?
According to one young lady, a freshman at a university, Metropolitan University, I don't know how to change a tire. I don't have a car at all. I don't know how to sew. I don't know how to do a lot of things other than cooking. She says, well, one of the experts, they quote, says, I think it's important that children are taught financial literacy.
A lot of stuff involves money. Canadian colleges like the University of Waterloo are stepping in to teach the basics with online toolkits like Adulting 101, which covers everything from healthy relationships to how not to set your kitchen on fire. Oh, that might come in handy. May I just, I'm just curious here, moms, dads, grandmas, and grandpas, how do you prepare your child for life? Do you, is this, is there some sort of an intentional thing that you do?
In all seriousness, back when I was in school, which was in the 80s in high school, we did have to take shop class. We did have to take a class on basic car maintenance, how to change your oil, how to change tires. Young ladies, and again, I know this. Don't call me sexist. I'm just telling you, the guys did shop class, and then the girls did, you know, home economics.
I will say there were some theater guys that did home act, and there were a couple of Yeah. No. There were a couple of young ladies who took shop class. I just No, I'm not painting with a broad brush, and I'm not trying to stereotype. I'm just telling you that's how it was.
But all that to say that schools, along with moms and dads, because we had a finance class, so you learned how to balance a checkbook. You learned how to make a budget, so you were basically learning these life skills. I remember. Golly, when I was at Hope P. Sullivan Elementary School, In South Haven, Mississippi, I remember in grade school learning how to write a letter.
How to address an envelope. I mean, these are. Things that a lot of kids these days just don't have a clue, mainly because how many kids these days are actually writing a letter? Most of the stuff is done, you know, through the interwebs, right? You got the Gmail.
And now the kids don't even answer the Gmail. You got to send them a text. And I don't know what we're going to do when they stop answering the text. It's all so confusing. You know, life used to be a whole lot simpler.
According to a psychology professor at Santiago State. San Diago Whale's vagina. It's a great movie, by the way. According to a psychology professor at San Diego State University, author of Generations. Today's twenty-somethings are hitting adulthood with empty toolboxes.
Kids are growing up less independent. They're less likely to learn how to do adult things as high school students. Then they get to university and they still don't know. Again, it just all points back to moms and dads. I have to imagine, moms and dads are not.
preparing their kids for adulthood. But I know in our audience I would be willing to say that our audience, I would say 99% of our audience, you guys prepared your kids to be good, productive citizens. The professor says, We send these kids off to adulthood without other skills. If they're not learning how to make decisions on their own and solve problems, that can be challenging. The professor blames helicopter parenting and extended adolescence.
made worse by rising numbers of young adults who still live with mom and dad. You are just more likely to be financially dependent on your parents for longer.
Well, that's a Barack Hussein Obama problem. He told all these kids, you're nothing if you don't go to college.
So these kids believed Obama. Until the 1960s, New York City high school kids learned how to cook, clean, and sew as part of their standard curriculum. Again, it was part of the standard curriculum. In 2025, they'd be lucky if they knew how to do their laundry. It's true.
And a lot of schools ditched home economic classes because of the women's liberation movement. That was back in the late 60s, early 70s. Anyway, it's all very fascinating to me. And I hate it for a lot of kids, and it's easy to bash a generation, but hey, if they weren't taught these things. You know, if I hadn't gone to shop class, I don't think I was the look, construction, you know, the hard, you know, woodworking is what we call it.
I wasn't very good at it, but you know, we've got some basic knowledge of: oh, this is a hammer, this is a nail, this is what you do with the hammer and the nail.
So maybe we wouldn't have so many kids going out and shooting people if we put them back in shop class and home economics. Maybe. We wouldn't be. I'm just telling you, the country is in a weird spot right now, and Trump's doing a great job. Getting us out of it.
That's why and by the way, that is why Trump is reintroducing and putting an emphasis on the trade arts. He wants people to be able to work with their hands, get good jobs. and stop having to rely on mom and dad for for a handout every month. That's not on Gen Z. That's on us.
That's on us, ladies and gentlemen. All right, hang tight. Hour three of the big show coming up. Supreme Court coming down with a bizarre ruling. Also.

Hello, America. Welcome to the Top Starts Radio Show. Great to have you with us today. Man, there is, we've got a big show lined up for you this evening. Congressman Andy Ogles is going to be joining us in just a matter of, well, joining us later on this evening on the Newsmax TV show.
Man, Mike, you know, ladies and gentlemen, I must apologize. There's normally one show a year where I'm just slightly just. Just a smidge off kilter. You know, the brain hasn't just kicked into gear. I think today is that day.
I really do.
So bear with me, ladies and gentlemen. We shall get through this together because. At the end of the day, I am a radio professional, a professional broadcaster, ladies and gentlemen. We know how to work our big, beautiful, huge microphone here at the Dodd Starnes Radio Show.
So, look, I want to tell you about what's happening in Seattle. There is going to be a massive rally this afternoon. Over the weekend, a group of Christians gathered to protest these radical transgender activists.
Now, in Washington state, They are literally coming after moms and dads, and they're trying to destroy families. It is an ugly thing that's happening. In the state of Washington.
So a lot of the churches got together and they said, you know what, we're going to hold a big rally. Or traditional family values. Here's how CBS News covered the event. Cut number nine. A weekend demonstration in Seattle supporting traditional family values turned violent when it attracted a counter protest.
Video on social media shows police pepper spraying some of the protesters. Police claim the counter demonstrators were throwing things at officers.
Some of the counter protesters claim the family values rally was anti-LGBTQ. Nearly two dozen people were arrested. Yeah, so the mayor, meanwhile, coming out, and he's going after all the Christians. You can't make this stuff up. The mayor of Seattle, Washington.
Says the problem here, not the anarchist, not Antifa. The problem is actually the Christians who Who stood up and decided to speak out? And the mayor is actually calling these people bigots and transphobic. And so the mayor is out there suggesting that it was the Christians who are responsible because ultimately. They were the ones who were holding a rally.
And the insinuation is That the Christians were just simply not supposed to be protesting. I mean, this is insanity.
So today And again, I want to read what the mayor, the mayor, his name is Harold, Bruce Harrell. He condemned the hundreds of Christians who gather, and these are just regular old church-going folks, right? We're not talking about, you know, let's just get real here. Seattle's not exactly the Bible belt, if you know what I mean. A lot of godless heathens in that neck of the woods.
So the mayor placed all the blame on the Christians. He said that these he said the Christians are far right extremists. The only purpose of the rally was to provoke a reaction by promoting beliefs that are opposed to Seattle's values.
So what exactly are those values? I mean, the Christians are saying we believe that God created male and female. We don't believe you can change your gender. We believe marriage between one man and one woman. All of a sudden, those are far-right extremist ideas?
Most of the country believes in those ideas.
So the mayor pretty much said: if you are a follower of Jesus, you are not welcome in Seattle, Washington. That's that's what he's saying. It's ugly stuff here. Ugly.
So, anyway, today Christians are going to be gathering again in protest. And they're saying the mayor needs to resign. The federal government now getting involved, Harmeet Dillon, among others, who says, hey, look, we got a big problem here. You can't be stifling the free speech of Christians. You can't be doing that.
And I said, well, good for you, Harmeet Dillon. 901-260-5926, our telephone number, that's 901-265. 260-5926.
Now Okay. I want to remind you of something that I said on this program a couple of weeks ago. And it's worth repeating here. I told you That James Comey had to be arrested. And James Comey had to be charged.
I mean, he's done a lot of stuff over the years that would have qualified him, and had it been any other person, he would have been arrested. He would have been charged with crimes. But when James Comey, the ex-FBI director, Claimed to have come across some shells on a beach that just happened to spell out 8647. And he took a picture of those and posted them on his Instagram page. And he just randomly came across it.
Nobody believed it. And then and then come his other one, I didn't know what that meant. Are you kidding me? Even Barney Fife does what that Barney Fife knows what eighty six forty seven means.
So, what happened? Secret Service came to visit. They interviewed him, and that was that. And I told you at the time. That was a very dangerous move.
What James Comey did was threaten the life of President Donald J. Trump. He should have been taken into custody. And it should have been very visible. And I look.
I am not advocating, I don't believe that federal agents need to be knocking down doors.
However, the precedent was set during the Biden years. And therefore, we have to use that precedent and we've got to use it against the other side. And the reason we have to do that is they need to know if they do it to us, we're going to do it to them twice as hard. It's as simple as that.
So it seems to me that staging a pre dawn guns drawn raid on the home of James Comey is really a preventative measure. Because the Democrats would then be forced to think twice before they pulled something like that on conservatives again. You rummage around The the the dresser drawers Mrs. Trump, then we're going to do the same thing to your wife, pal. But there was another reason.
And I suggested just a couple of weeks ago on this very program That if James Comey was not dealt with harshly and publicly, it would open up the door for others. And ladies and gentlemen, that's exactly what's going on. You folks in Wichita, Kansas. My word Protest over the weekend. They had hundreds of people.
And they were chanting 8647. Over and over again, people had signs. They are now openly calling for the assassination of Donald Trump. And folks We can't tolerate that. There were police there.
And the police did nothing. The police stood down. How is it that a law enforcement officer is going to stand down while you've got people out there literally calling for people to go and assassinate Donald Trump? I'm telling you, folks, it is a very, very dangerous situation. that we're getting ourselves Enter.

So I I have a question. It's a bit of an awkward question. But it it needs to be addressed. What, um all right. What exactly are white people good at?
And the reason I ask this question is because it's being debated on the interwebs. As you and I are sitting here, there are many TikTok videos, Instagram videos, and people are having this conversation. What are. White people Superior at? What do we do well that nobody else?
does out there. And again, I don't mean this in a weird sort of way here or a mean-spirited sort of way, but man, there is a war on white people. And it is being waged across the world. It's really remarkable. And if you even mention that there's a war on white people, you know, people their little um their little uh butthocks area it starts to clinch up a little bit and people are We can't talk about that.
Jeez, Lord, we can't say that. That's what it sounds like when you clench your butt. Very. Uncomfortable.
So, anyway. That's where we're at right now. People are literally mocking white folk. And so there was this QA.
Somebody did a mail on the street with black people, and they asked the question: what are white people superior at? Take a listen. What are white people superior at? What exactly are white people superior at? They're real good at violence.
Violence? It's like stealing people's lives just because they feel like if you are white and you know this is happening and you say nothing, then you're a killer too. What exactly are white people superior at? Insecurity. Pretending.
Fear. Being fearful of nothing. Being ignorant. Blame. Letting their egos control their every move.
Superior at being What exactly are white people superior at? Oppression. Gaslighting. Lack of empathy. Intellectualizing oppression.
Did I say oppression? What exactly are white people superior at? Taking what's not there. Taking our ideas. Copycatting.
Gentrification. Appropriating things that do not belong to them. Taking over other people's cultures. And making you believe that they invented it. Maybe they're thinking of it as repurposing.
It's like recycle and repurpose. As my grandma would say, them white folk, they'll take it if you don't copyright it. They are very good at destruction of land, destruction of people, destruction of humanness. Public hearing, whether you're Democrat, whether you're conservative, like white people are really good at upholding white supremacy. How about claiming that, you know, they are actually a whole separate race when actually white DNA comes from.
The black female.
So, what exactly are white people superior to? Honey, lying, stealing, and cheating, manipulation, withholding information, lying, telling lies. It went on and on and on. I I'm just like, man, I feel bad that I'm white. I I wanted to book a session at the tainting salon, you know, try to bronze up a little bit.
As a matter of fact, this morning when we had the lovely Kristen come in, she does my makeup for Newsmax. And I said, can you make me a little bit more bronzer? Yeah. Do you do you mind just Put me a shade darker. I just I mean, really?
Is that really what people think about white folk? You know, I've often wondered, and you heard them talk about that, you know, where are we supposed to go? Because the whole point of this is, and this goes back to Barack Hussein Obama. When you talk about all the reparations and the colonization and all that kind of stuff, that comes back from Barack Hussein Obama and his upbringing. And his father was a fierce, a fierce.
Fierce opponent of the UK. in Kenya and the whole colonization efforts of the UK.
So this is it's not something new. This has been going on for a long time. But during Obama's years, I mean, these are all kids who were in school. when Obama was president. And so now they've been taught all of this.
And this is critical race theory. And this is what it looks like. And it is ugly. I just want to warn you folks, white people of America, pay attention. And by the way, it's not just white, it's predominantly whites, but the you Asian folks out there, Hispanics?
Yeah, th I I I think they put all of us in the same In the same category here the same basket, if you will.
So, anyway, and a lot of the white liberal chicks. Are starting to buy into all of this.
Now, I want you to hear, this is terrible.
So, one of these gals. She's got a giant What do you call them? It's protruding from her nose. It's a. Bull ring.
Like something you would put like on cattle. Yes. To all right, to get them.
So you would basically hook onto the and then you go where the because it hurts, I guess. Yep. I mean, if that woman sneezed and that bull ring was not attached, she could put out of somebody's eye. Is that true? It's true, Cassie.
You can laugh on air, it's not inappropriate. By the way, someone said, what happened to Dylan? We sent him to Peru. Dylan is on a mission trip with his church, and they're doing some medical mission trip. And I thought, wait a second, Dylan doesn't have a medical license.
Good Lord. We tried to reach him moments ago. He's in surgery right now. No, I'm just kidding. But his wife is.
She's a wonderful, very well-qualified nurse. Yeah. Holy cow. That's terrible.
So what were we talking about? Oh, yeah.
So the bullnose ring lady. Anyway, she posted a video. This is shocking. She posted a video and she explained that she will no longer be dating any of you white guys. Take a listen.
It's march thirty first, twenty twenty five. I am a fifty-eight-year-old adult humid female. I am formally making my proclamation exclamation. right now to you. I will no longer be associating with any white.
Males of any kind. It does not matter if liberal or conservative. It does not matter. What color hair or eyes? As long as the skin is white.
And it is a bell. I will not be associated with it any more. The symbol is a symbolism symbolism. Symbolism of a white male has become the epitome of hate. This is my former proclamation.
You think it's the bull ring? It's gotta be the ring. It's gotta be the ring, right? It's That's a deviated septum right there, folks. Oh, that's terrible.
Well, and I gotta tell I'm just I you know, we're being we we are real here on this program, folks. She's not a looker. I'm just gonna tell you right now. And the pronouns could go either way. I'm just saying, it's.
Yeah. Oh, whoa. I'm no longer going to say any mailman.
Okay. Well, there you go, ladies and gentlemen.
So, all that to say. She's not alone. I mean, there's like a huge, look, there's a reason why the birth rate has plummeted in America, and it's primarily because a gals like a bullnose ring lady. I'm just saying. All right, we got to take a break here.
901. 260-5926.
That's 901-260-5926.
We'll be right back, everybody. Welcome back, everybody, to a sunshine show. I'm a white guy. Oh, that hurts. That hurts my nose.
Welcome back. Good to have you with us. Oh, let's go to Bob. Bob in Cleveland, Georgia. Bob, I tell you, she sounds like she's a keeper, that one.
Oh, shoot, the real reason no white man wants to date her.
Well, I would say I don't even think plant guys would want to date that chick. Yeah, I I agree with you and stuff like that. Yeah, and when you we come to Trubacon, I'll come and see you and bring you a Phil Robinson book. That dynasty Duck Dynasty. You know, we're going to miss old Phil Robertson, Bob.
Yeah, I do. He is a good man. Mm-hmm. He was. You know what when the net network told him that he they were going to get rid of him and all that and he just lost nine million dollars, he said money well spent and got up and walked out.
You sure did. He sure did. And he was a big fan of Donald J. Trump, too. Oh yeah, so am I.
All right. Well, Bob, thanks for calling in. It's true. There's a lot of chaos in the culture right now, and people do not. They do not want to talk about these race issues.
But even black men are starting to speak up and stand out, and they realize they've got a problem. And the reality is, there are a lot of folks with the Jasmine Crockett mentality out there. I want you to listen to this lady. I believe this was a McDonald's. I couldn't, it happened at a fast food restaurant, and this woman, her son, Went in for a job and the interview did not go well, and so the child was not hired.
The person doing the hiring, the manager, happened to be a white lady. And I want you to hear how all of this went down. Cut number 12.
Well, we're going to run these cameras. You ain't going to run nothing, ma'am. You're going to give these cameras at nine. No, you ain't going to run nothing. Because you're not going to do that in a lot of time.
Well, so I'm ready, and I'm always prepared. Always prepared. Don't take the week. Always prepared. That's one thing you've got to understand: you have to be ready so you don't have to get ready.
That is a child. That is a 16-year-old looking for a job. Yes. And you're not going to get every job that you apply for. And I know.
And this isn't helping him get a job at all. And it's not teaching him anything. And it's not. No. It's not.
But it is going to teach him that just because you are a racist. A black woman threatened him the first time to pull his hair out of his face, but I am a rich man. Did you put your hair in a ponytail the last time you were here? Um I put it back. You put it back.
Thank you. He did not put it in a ponytail. I didn't ask him to put it in a ponytail. What did you actually do? Did you try?
He put it in a ponytail. Did he not? I told him two lessons. I learned the hard way. Did he not?
I don't know if he did. I walked away. There you go. I mean, what sort of lesson is this mom teaching her child that when things don't go your way, you immediately play the race card? And I think that That we are reaching a point in society where that doesn't work anymore.
Those days are gone, and people are just tired of it. And there's a word called fatigue, and that is going around on social media. And I'm just telling you right now, I see it every day in Memphis, where I'm from, and people are just done. They're done with it. This idea that they, and they're excusing crime by saying, well, people are poor.
Well, that's Ladies and gentlemen, let me just say this. That is an insult to poor people because I know a lot of people who grew up dirt poor. I knew a lot of people in life who grew up without anything. And yet they managed to live their American dream, And that American dream wasn't living in some sort of a mansion. It was maybe a nice house or having a good job, having a wife and kids.
That was their American dream. But just because they were poor, they didn't go out and steal and rob and take from other people. That's crazy. That is a morality problem, ladies and gentlemen. That's what that is.
Harmie Dillon was on Tucker Carlson's show the other day. And again, Memphis is now in the national spotlight. Cash Patel, and we're hearing words, by the way, that the Feds may be coming to town as early as this week. We'll keep you updated on that. But they see what's going on in Memphis, and unfortunately, we are controlled by professional race agitators.
Army Delling came in, and she was doing an interview with Tucker Carlson, and she brought this up, talking about the real problem in Memphis, Tennessee, cut number one, place. I'll give you an example. Memphis, Tennessee, is one of the cities that the outgoing Department of Justice issued some pretty lurid-looking factual findings in. And so when you start reading it, You look at, hey, the findings are: well, Memphis is racist, and their arrest rates of African Americans are disproportionate. I'm sorry.
Anyone who's been to Memphis been it's such a wonderful place. I I love Memphis, but If you come away thinking, you know, the real problem in Memphis is racism. Then you're a liar. Memphis is majority black. Yes.
The police force is majority black. Yes. And guess what? The homeless population, which is the subject of this consent decree finding pre-consent decree finding, Is majority black. And so the idea that there's disproportionate arrests of You know, people who are on the street and potentially committing crimes as racist black cops, black population, and black homeless population.
How do you reach that conclusion that racism, you have to reach that conclusion because you are biased yourself? And the lens that you're looking through is a lens seeking racism. And if that's what you're seeking, that's what you find in each of these cities. And that is what they found in each of these cities. It's like the ANC or something.
But, you know, in the end, like Memphis also has not only the country's highest murder rate or one of them.
well, like the worst schools and like contaminated water and Crumbling housing stock and like no businesses. And there's so many problems. And if you just think it's like, white people are the problem, it nothing ever gets fixed. And that is the reality of it. And I'm glad to see the problems here in Memphis because we really are ground zero.
For a lot of what happens when you only elect people based on. race and political party. When you blame every problem on the white man. That's this is happening nationwide, but it's all centralized right here in Memphis. And you heard Tucker say what a beautiful, you know, what a great town Memphis is.
And it's true. Anybody who comes here And you see our architecture, you see the river, you see the history and the music, and y you walk down Beale Street and you hear the you hear the sounds of the blues and rock and roll, and this really is the birthplace of rock and roll, right here in Memphis, Tennessee. And you you sense and feel and see the culture. We have some of the most incredible food in In America, right here in Memphis, all of these things. And yet it means nothing because the elected leaders have turned this into a third world hell hole.
And I over the weekend, we had a long Memorial Day weekend. And I can't tell, I lost count of the number of people that got shot, just shot. On the streets of Memphis. And do you think it's bad? You think it's bad here?
Over in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. There were at least two mass shootings. where, well, almost two dozen people got shot in and around Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. They used to be a family friendly destination. And it has been literally Overrun.
Overrun. And people are afraid to speak out. People are afraid to. to say, hey, we've got a problem here. Because they don't want to be accused of the R word.
No, not libtard. No, that, no, that's that's the L word. I'm talking about. Races They're afraid.
Well, we're not afraid on this program, ladies and gentlemen. And I'm just telling you, right now, there is a big problem. Big problem in the Democrat Party. And here's how bad. Remember what I told you?
A lot of people think I am yours, Shirley, talks about the wazoo. I do not talk out the wazoo. I have a very well informed opinion, ladies and gentlemen. Remember a while back I told you. That there would That there's no way That a white guy would ever be able to lead the Democrats.
There's just no way. No way a straight white guy could ever. Could ever Lead the party. And People mocked me. They laughed.
Then David Hogg gets elected. Right.
And they said, well, we told you, Stearns. There's David Hogg. He's a Straight white guy.
Well, um, he's a s he's a white guy. No, I believe he's heterosexual. I have no idea. It doesn't really matter. But they said, What do you say about that?
I said, Just wait and see. Just wait and see. And sure enough, they're in the throes of trying to boot David Hogg out of the leadership in the Democratic Party because he's a white guy. And the person complaining is some sort of a female chick of color. I it's I tried to tell you.
So now the Democrats are in a quandary because they realize. That even though they hate They hate men of all stripes, and they really do. It's not just white guys. I mean, they just hate men in general.
Now they've got a problem because they realize that they actually do need. The men of America. for at least one thing.
Okay, well, two, because they have to procreate. But other than that, there's only two things that a man is good for in the Democrat Party. And number one is procreation. Unless you're Pete Booty Juice and you want to go out and buy a baby. And then you've got what okay, so the main thing is the voting, right?
That's the most important thing. They cannot win elections without the vote of the man, and especially the white dudes. And this brings me to the New York Times. Even the New York Times is like. What the heck is going on over there at D and C headquarters?
So apparently They spent twenty. $20 million to try to figure out how to get guys. To vote Democrat again. I want to read this. This is from Shane Goldmacher.
a national political correspondent, Goldmacher writing, one long time Democratic researcher has a technique she leans on when nudging voters to share their deepest, darkest feelings about politics. She asks them to compare America's two major political parties to animals. After 250 focus groups of swing voters, a pattern emerges. Republicans are seen as apex predators, like lions, tigers, and sharks. Beasts that take what they want when they want it.
Democrats, meanwhile, are tagged as a majority of the men. Tortoises. Slugs. and sloths. Slow plodding passive.
So the strategist perked up early this year when a Democratic man in Georgia suggested that a very different kind of animal symbolized Her party. The man replied, A deer in headlights. It's a great point. He said, You stand there, you see the car coming, but you're going to stand there and you're going to get hit anyway. And it's true.
When you look at President Trump and the battleground states, the Democrat Party is still trying to figure out what happened. Its standing plunged to new lows 27 percent approval rating in a recent MBC News poll. The weakest in surveys dating back to nineteen ninety. And the reason why is they told the men that you're no longer welcome here. That we don't want your kind.
We just need you for two things: to procreate and to vote. And that's it. We don't want your opinions. We don't want your leadership. And they spent millions and millions, twenty million dollars.
And the whole point of this. The whole point of the twenty million dollar effort, ladies and gentlemen, was to reverse the erosion of Democrat support among young men, especially online. It even has a code name. Code name. Sam It's short for speaking, you can't make this up, speaking with American men, a strategic plan.
I'm reading from code name Sam. We promise to study syntax, language, and content that gains attention and virality in these places. It recommends buying advertisements in video games, among other things. Above all, we must shift from a moralizing tone.
So, anyway, they came away saying, Well, we've got to really work on getting our message out there, so we're going to buy all these ads and video games. Really? Is that going to work? I don't think it's going to work. Honest to goodness, I don't know a single man in America who would want to be associated with the modern Democrat Party.
Do you, ladies and gentlemen? I'm just telling you right now. The Democrats are imploding. It really could be over for the Democrats, depending on what the Republicans do. Because right now the Republicans They have an opportunity.
And the question for the Republicans is: are you going to take advantage of that opportunity?
Now, we talked a lot about Generations. We got a good chuckle a few moments ago, but the reality is. The younger portion of the Gen Z audience are more conservative than anybody else. I would say going back to Beyond before the boomers. When you had the greatest generation, Those are the conservatives.
We're t we're looking at now. Young people who They've seen the destruction of the past three generations, and they're looking back at what would be their great-grandparents, and they're saying, we want that. We want that kind of a family. We want that kind of a church. We want those kinds of long-lasting jobs.
That's what we want.
So there is hope, but they're not getting it from the Democrat Party. They're not, which is why they're turning to the Republicans. And it's really not the Republican Party they're turning to, ladies and gentlemen. It is Donald J. Trump.
That's who they're turning to. All right, we've got to take a break here. 901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926.
