Rich recaps the Dallas Cowboys’ thrilling 41-35 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football, makes the case for Dak Prescott as NFL MVP, lauds HC Mike McCarthy’s play calling after parting ways with former Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore, and says what falling to 6-6 means for Pete Carroll and company’s playoff hopes.

Rich and the guys react to Monday Night Football flexing out of a game for the first time in history (Patriots vs Chiefs in favor of Eagles vs Seahawks) and ponders what could become of Chargers HC Brandon Staley if they drop to 4-8 with a loss to the Pats.

Are you kidding me? This is the game of the year. This is the Rich Eisen Show. I'm fired up for this game. Live from the Rich Eisen Show studio in Los Angeles.

Now to get a rematch, to me, this is the game of the year up until this point, no question. Today's guest ESPN broadcaster, Chris Fowler. What's more likely NFL Network insider Tom Pellisero. And now it's Rich Eisen.

Yes, it is. Welcome to this edition of the Rich Eisen Show live on the Roku channel. So much to talk about on this program with week number Baker's dozen now underway in the National Football League. Lots happening in our sports world.

We will cover it all. We have three guests on this program. Tom Pellisero and our number three will be joining me here from NFL Network, NFL Media Group.

The man who's calling the Pac-12 championship game tonight, the final game in the history of the Pac-12. Chris Fowler will be joining us from Las Vegas, Nevada, and our number two. And then joining us later on is a new member of our program because he's now free to do so.

Sports expert George Santos will be joining us for the first time. Guys, I'm breaking news for all of you. This is breaking news and I'm excited. I'm excited. He says he knows what he's talking about. I'm dialed in his takes. I can't wait. Maybe I'm gullible. All right.

We have two guests. 844-204, Rich is the number to dial here on the Roku channel, which is free on all Roku devices. Select Samsung Smart TV. It's free on Amazon Fire TV. It is free on the Roku app.

The Roku channel dot com is is free on the old Internet tubes and the Roku channel dot com sitting there for you. We say hello to our Sirius XM Odyssey audiences. We say hello to our rich eyes and show terrestrial radio affiliates and say hello to you, Chris Brockman. Good to see you, sir.

What's that? DJ Mikey D is in these nuts on a Friday. Yeah, I mean, wow. We're back.

That day of the week exists for my gear in the studio. Good. Hey, don't say things you can't come through on your right. I don't believe you're back.

T.J. Jefferson has changed his grease board from the CM Punk stuff. There it is. All right. How about. And also, I'm just throwing another flag. Just OK. Look at him.

Look at him with all with all sorts of problems. Carrot top over there. OK, well, I mean, I hate her, Brockman. OK, the people.

I'm just glad it's not Gallagher. I would have I would have been prepared for it. All right. So let's jump into it here. Thursday night, week 13. Prime video, you all saw it right here on the Roku platform, I'm sure. Oh, baby.

The Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks just absolutely refusing to punt. And going up and down the field, I could track me and DK Metcalf doing what he told you. If you watch this show, you listen to this show. He told you a couple months ago, I'm learning sign language so I could curse people out and people don't even know what I'm doing. And he scored in sign languaging. And, you know, the old X machine started saying, hey, he's showing up to Ron Bland with his hands. It was not just his hands. It was his feet.

It was his entire body. It was his it was his throwback uniform. It was all sorts of wild stuff from the Seattle Seahawks last night, throwing it right on the Dallas Cowboys. And when DK Metcalf was ticketed for speeding in a 20 mile an hour zone, according to the old next gen stats, he ran the fastest with a football this season. That touchdown, that 73 yarder that put the Dallas Cowboys behind on the scoreboard for the first time in their home season. That was the fastest anyone has run with a football this year, faster than Devin Achain.

Really? And everyone else on the Miami Dolphins, 22.2 miles an hour, faster than the week five touchdown. Tyree Kilscourt. He was 22 miles an hour there, and the Seahawks kept pushing the pedal to the metal and took a lead in this game. And you all know what was going on. T.J. knows what was going on. All Dallas Cowboys fans know what was going on.

The rest of this National Football League narrative, talking culture was ready to just pounce on the Dallas Cowboys and say, Day, 100 percent, you totally worry about him. Everybody after the show, Micah Parsons was even talking about the narratives. He's got a podcast. He's out there with narratives.

He's out there fighting back narratives like he's in Game of Thrones. They sure as hell hear it, and you could just see it, the pressure mounting as Mike McCarthy was making one weird decision after another. Yeah, I'd like to talk about those weird decision after another.

And even ones that I agreed with, the. Analytics culture was popping in saying, why is he kicking a field goal to go up six points when all you need is three yards and you've got a six percent chance. Better chance of winning a football game, which is what he was presented with last night when he popped Aubrey out there for one extra field goal, as opposed to him popping him out there for another field goal earlier on in the game, instead of going for two to tie it. That's what the one I. OK, that's also like so the stuff of the Dallas Cowboys that normally. Forms the cloud of the narrative that they fold into pressure. And can't make decisions under pressure. And the coach makes weird decisions under pressure. And you can't beat a team with a winning record.

Who have you really beaten? Those narratives were forming. And then Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb and the rest of this team began to get it done. And then at the end of the game, the Seattle Seahawks kept going forward on fourth down. And despite being outstanding on third down, missing on only.

Five third down opportunities in the game that led to a handful of fourth down opportunities, many of them in the fourth quarter, they went for them all and didn't get a single one of them. While the Dallas Cowboys made the plays at the end. And then for some ungodly reason, the Seattle Seahawks get together for their final fourth down, do or die decision and say, you know, Zach Sharpen is out. And after having a really good night and, you know, also Kenneth Walker is out. So let's rely on D.J. Dallas to try and make a play and let Micah Parsons loose at the same time.

And number 11 called game. Along with Tank Lawrence, he called game and despite Geno Smith and this offense looking exactly the way they needed to look. In their awesome throwback uniforms, please keep them. Seattle. The Dallas Cowboys prevail, and there is no narrative today other than the fact that Dallas. Is nine and three, because that should be the pushback here, if I may, T.J., for you and the rest of Cowboys nation that you say doesn't really care about it, because if the Philadelphia Eagles are being hailed for winning games.

That they're down in. Now, I understand the Seahawks aren't the same level and many people's minds opponent as the Chiefs and the Bills, two teams that are habitually in the final four in their conference. But you are playing who you are playing, and Seattle came correct last night with pro bowlers doing their jobs everywhere from DK and Bobby Wagner.

Who is blowing people up. And then the kids like Charbonnet are doing it, and Jackson Smith and Jigba are doing it. Noah Fant is making catches. Why can't the Cowboys be given the kudos for winning a game where they were down at halftime in and needed to win ugly? Because what definitely looked pretty last night was their quarterback again, once again.

And if we're saying Jalen Hurts is an MVP candidate, and I have said that on overreaction Monday, podcast segment as well as this show. Let's throw Dak in that mix. Nobody leads, has more thrown more touchdown passes than Dak Prescott entering this weekend.

26 now, and the guy who's right behind him is not going to overtake him because he's on a bye week. That's Josh Allen, who by the way, has thrown 13 interceptions with his 24 touchdowns. Dak's thrown six.

Six. And he has, since the week seven bye, thrown for 20 of his 26 touchdown passes in the six games. Since the merger, Cowboys have had a lot of good quarterbacks, right?

Since the merger, right? Yeah, two or three. There's two with busts.

Heard of them. Nobody's had more in a six game span in the history of the Dallas Cowboys in the merger than Dak Prescott over the last six weeks. And again, in those six weeks, 20 touchdowns, two interceptions. And this is the guy who's supposed to be killing you backbreaking with the two interceptions. And I understand who have you really beaten? That's for next week's conversation. But for today, they did beat a team that was above 500 coming in and they did beat a team that had their a plus plus material and Dak Prescott led them.

And he keeps finding CD lamp to on top of it. MVP is a four man race. According to Vegas, right now, guys, Jalen hurts your favorite, followed by Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Dak Prescott, all with pretty close odds. And I got to tell you, Mahomes, that's just on, that's on name. Mahomes has got thrown 21 touchdowns, nine interceptions. The reason why the Chiefs, and we talked about this with Stonetree, I said it to his face yesterday.

So this is not a denigration. The defense is the reason why the Chiefs have been able to tinker offensively and maybe find Rashee Rice, TJ Jefferson's him in his fantasy suggestions for this week. I mean, it should have been DK, but, you know. Well, we did tell one of our callers yesterday, don't bench DK for... I'm pretty sure. I think we did say that for Brandon Cooks, even though he scored too.

Call back if you're out there. I had him in fantasy myself. But I'll tell you, man, honestly, the other guys, two has thrown 22 touchdowns, 10 interceptions. Dak has had almost as many touchdowns in the last six games than two has had all year. And he's been running this offense that we're talking about is one of the greatest shows on turf. But you know who really is?

Dallas at home. Let's give the flowers right here to Mike McCarthy too. Can I do that? Am I allowed to do that?

Are they going to take my microphone away if I give Mike McCarthy his flowers? Well, it depends on who you ask. The Dallas Cowboys have scored, averaged at home, 41 points a game. The only team that has averaged all time, more points at home per game in a single season was Drew Brees' Saints at 2011 when they went nuts. Remember that those teams were just on tilt two years after a Super Bowl. They were undefeated, right?

For a long time. 41.1 points per game. And the 1950 LA Rams scored 46 and a half points per game here in LA.

Okay. And Mike McCarthy is taking the play call and he sent Kellen Moore here to Los Angeles. And we're all sitting here wondering, where's Justin Herbert's MVP season? Where are the Chargers' offense?

He's supposed to suddenly magically change things around. They're four and seven. Dallas is nine and three.

And C.D. Lamb, this was supposed to be McCarthy screwing it up, taking the play, calling over, depending on the run and only the run, wanting to run the ball. He said it himself. He goes, I don't want to keep throwing my defense out there. I got to run the ball a heck of a lot more. And everyone's like, great idea, Mike, just as you send Zeke to New England.

Yeah, people definitely question. Tony Pollard is a rushing touchdown in three straight games. Tony Pollard, fantasy owners know that. That's for sure.

They're like, thank goodness. Where's that been all year? But C.D. Lamb in this offense is killing it. And Dak is not shy in finding him. 17 targets Thursday night, 12 catches, 116 yards. And if you want to add on all those penalty yards, I think he had 400 last night. Four straight games of the least one receiving touchdown. The last one to do it was member of the 88 club Dez Bryant in 2014 for Dallas. And he is one million percent up there with any game wrecking wide receiver in the NFL right now. Absolutely is the number one receiver of the Dallas Cowboys with his sixth 100-yard game of the season. The only one who's done better than that is Irv twice. He had seven 100 receiving yards in a single season in 91. And then 95 he had 11. He was really good. That's why he's in the hall. And even when Daron Bland was suddenly for some reason smelling of toast, he came up with an interception too last night. Yep.

Okay, so here's the deal. Dallas is one million percent despite how up and down they looked and how they didn't crush the Seattle Seahawks, because that is a grown ass man of a team that needed that win last night and showed up. Gino with 300 yards. I mean, they showed up and showed out. Dallas beat them. They're nine and three. They sit back and they are rooting like crazy for the 49ers.

Rooting like crazy for the 49ers, because if the 49ers win, that means they have an opportunity to go and match the Philadelphia Eagles record by beating them next week and having a shot at the division in the one seed. Period. End of story.

Because that's a fact. And the Cowboys right now are sitting in that wildcard position playing like this. They will eviscerate any NFC South team that welcomes them for Super Wildcard weekend. And then we'll see what happens.

Then the rubber meets the road. Do they have to go to San Francisco again? I would proffer to say, yeah, it's possible they have to go to Detroit if somebody else surprises somebody on Super Wildcard weekend. I doubt it. Who knows? But that's my state of the Cowboys union right there.

Didn't look pretty. We were all set to pile on. I mean, everybody.

Anybody in this business in front of a microphone who wouldn't deny that is lying. We were set to pile on. Oh, there they are again. Good luck beating San Francisco.

If you got to go there now, good luck. That one seed's gone. The division's gone. But that's not the case today, is it? You know, still, Rich, still some questions. You know, the time management thing. Of course, TJ, it's not pretty. Of course. You know, not kicking the field goal when you're down two to take. Every team's got questions. Every team has questions. Yeah, but these are questions that linger over this team and this franchise.

And those are probably questions one and two. But last night, it didn't cost you, did it? Luckily, it didn't.

Well, not luckily. You got an MVP quarterback. Here he is after the game, had this to say, wearing a very... Did you see the blue... Is this sequin?

It's fashion is what that is. Okay. This is Dak.

No difference when they're hating me and calling for me to my position, honestly. I'm blessed. I'm super blessed. And you know, I think about that each and every day that I wake up. I'm grateful for that opportunity to do that. And I go and tack the day that I understand nobody's opinion defines me. And that's the great part about life. And that's the great opportunity that we all have, that people can say whatever they want.

But you know, I have the pen, I have the paper, and I'm the one writing. So because I'm playing as well as I am now, doesn't mean that I'm going to stop, doesn't mean I'm going to listen to them now. Appreciate them. But I don't care about their opinions right now any more than I did when they said that when they're calling for my spot. So as I said, I'm blessed. This last year has been a reflection of that.

A lot of great things have happened in my life and they're going to continue to happen in my life because of my mindset and where I put the value of life. Attaboy. I remember right, I think what Micah said that you said coming off the field after you guys took the lead was, turn me the F up. Yeah. Yeah. Turn it up.

Turn it up. Okay. That looks to be maybe some type of snake or eel type skin on that jacket. Definitely a leather situation. Yeah.

I just love it. Because the pen will be in his hand, the paper will be a new contract, and the writing will be, he could just name his price. $660? The first $60 million man? As you know, sir, it's what the market is about. And maybe so. Because right now, if I'm not mistaken, average, same average annual salary as Daniel Jones in the division, right?

$40 million? Yeah. I know that's like waving a red flag in front of a bull over there. I'm trying to like... No, no, it's okay. No, no, no, no, no, no. Not go off right now. That's it. And I know there's some people out there, TJ, and everyone else that... Because you know it, everyone else out there is sitting here thinking, well, Rich, just wait till this happens. Wait till that happens. Wait till this happens. Wait till that happens. And I understand, last night was one of those wait till it happens.

Looked like it was unfolding. But they're nine and three through 12 weeks. I don't think anybody thought they'd be nine and three through 13 weeks or 12 games after they got punked by the Niners.

They have 1 million percent steadied the ship. They have now won a game that they seem like they were gonna lose. If we're saying the Eagles are made stronger by it, why can't Dallas be? Because we lionized the Eagles for being tough, and Sirianni's effing that, bomb that, and he's doing this, and he's saying it with his chest. And Jalen Hurts took the team to the Super Bowl last year, and the Cowboys haven't been in the Super Bowl since the Clinton administration, and so on and so forth. This can be their year. End of story.

Last minute tickets, lowest price guaranteed. Okay. Back here on our program, phone lines are lighting up. We appreciate it.

844-204-rich number to dial. We will take your phone calls right there on the, when the radio audience returns, we'll hit Seattle stuff. There's some baseball news in the ether. When does the hot stove meetings start?

Winter meetings are this weekend or they start on the third, I think. Okay. That's coming up. Yeah. Jeff Passan has a big kind of preview article out. TJ, you left your yellow flag on the ground.

You got to throw it, I think, about 23 more times. Yeah. Just to catch up from yesterday. That was ridiculous. We'll discuss that shortly.

I need less cleat in my life. That guy. Oh my God. Oh goodness. What do you got? Huh?

I got my, I have my Roku water bottle. Yup. And, um, when I place it here on this side table, you could see the top of it. People might, like, say, what is that thing?

So I always realize it as soon as we come on the air and then I put it down next to my right foot and then I'll knock it over this. Yeah. No, it's branding, but it's huge.

It looks good. Other people are openly drinking coffee during the, while they're interviewing people. Yeah. Who? Who's doing that?

I don't want to name any names. Seriously. Who's openly drinking coffee?

Well, Kay Adams is openly drinking coffee while interviewing people. Oh, is that right? Yeah. Okay.

Maybe she needs a boost. I'm just saying. I don't know. I mean, I can bring my mug out. Should I do that? And let's see how Earth responds to that. Let's see how Earth responds to that.

You could cut off your sleeves. I mean, all the people do weird things while they're interviewing guests. Okay.

I'm just saying it's not a big deal. Okay. Like Andrew Sorkin, who is called what?

Jason by Jonathan. Back here on the Rich Eyes and Show radio network, part of our live Roku channel stream. Now I'm sitting at the Rich Eyes and Show desk furnished by Grainger with supplies and solutions for every industry. Grainger has the right product for you.

Call click Grainger.com or just stop by. Minnesota Vikings fans and are feeling in the way. Well, Seattle fans are feeling the way Vikings fans felt on on Monday night. They let one get away, at least for Seattle. Their offense looked terrific. Now, do you know, look back after a few kind of rough games and then, you know, a Kenneth Walker out Zach Charbonnet look terrific. And then he left the game. He was doubtful at one point to return. Yeah.

Was it a rib? He was banged up. And but DK Metcalf looked superb.

Like the DK that can change a game and can wreck a game. And Bobby Wagner was hitting people all over the lot. And, you know, you look at the NFC playoffs with the loss, though, Seattle is fallen and they better get up soon. And unfortunately for them, there's two teams right behind them that can win games this week.

I guess you could say three. The Packers have a huge game against the Chiefs. That is just as monumental as they come, because if they can beat the Chiefs and show that they are 100% prepared to beat elite teams in both conferences and back to back weekends, I mean, you could even throw the Chargers in there. If they could go Chargers, Lions, Chiefs to get to 500, that would show they are, they're one of those seven seeds Packers at 49ers. You know what I mean? Love versus Purdy.

Yeah, that's fun. Super wild card weekend, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. The Rams have a game against the Cleveland Browns this weekend, and it could be Joe Flacco. And then the Saints have a Lions game this weekend. That is big, big, big for all of those five and six teams.

And the door is open. Just a couple of weeks ago, the Vikings were two games and the Seahawks were two games in front of the Packers and Rams and Saints with some room to spare. And now they are not. And Seattle last night, I mean, those fourth down moments, they just couldn't get it done. And one of them, Charbonnet stopped on fourth down, the latest example. How do NFL teams not all have a shove play? You saw it, you see it all the time, all these fourth and one plays, and they all come out in traditional sort of, some of them, not even without a fullback. And they're stopped on fourth and short. I mean, last night, a perfect example right there, you need it first down.

You could get it and move on. I mean, that Tyler Lockett drop too earlier in the game was an absolute crusher because they bogged down on a drive instead of them getting a touchdown. So those little mistakes, and then had somehow, I guess Geno's not the same size as Hertz, the offensive lines are different.

I don't want to get too bogged down as well myself on the fact that so many teams don't have a brotherly shove play. But the last decision for Seattle, I mean, how do you when DK's gone, just as completely second guess, my apologies here to Seattle, but how do you when DK's going off like this? And Daron Bland, despite the interception that he came up with, looked like a fifth round pick more last night than a guy who's had five pick sixes.

I mean, that's a fact. And you've got him, DK, going off and Kenneth Walker out and Charbonnet out. And Charbonnet out. You go with a play that requires DJ Dallas to go from the left of Geno Smith.

Get out in the right flat as fast as possible. And hope that Geno can loop the ball to a, we assume, would be wide open DJ Dallas because you are allowing the right side of the pass rush to get through. And the right side of the pass rush you're allowing to get through untouched and unblocked purposefully is Micah Parsons.

How do you go like, OK, what's our best option here on the sideline? DK's going off. They must have a ton of plays for short yardage situations.

Let's go with the one where Micah Parsons is unblocked and Tank Lawrence is next to him. And that's the trash DJ Dallas, our third string guy, is going to have to get through. Now, again, I'm assuming Pete's just letting Shane Waldron call his plays.

And again, the guy was dialing it up last night in many different ways. I'm left completely scratching my head as I'm sure Seahawks fans are left scratching their heads over how this one got away. And that includes Pete Carroll, who I don't blame for going here last night in the postgame, but the officiating last night. Now, both teams were getting flags thrown on him, but the number of times that CeeDee Lamb got a flag thrown on him, and you could say they were all passing interference, whatever, Reek Woullen was getting flagged all over the joint, all of them.

Illegal contact, defensive holding, pass interference. The number of times the Cowboys got fresh sets of downs, I lost track. But here is Pete Carroll after the game.

Totally played for the moment and did it. And we're there and had great leadership from our older guys. We had good play from the young guys too.

And it's unfortunate that the game just, you know, it feels like there was a whole nother factor in this game. I don't know, you guys saw a lot better than I did, but there's just way too many penalties in this game. And we got that for both sides, we got to get out of that kind of football. I thought so many guys came through and made big plays and tough plays and showed great heart and great resolve to hang in there. We had to score three times in one sequence from the inside of 10 yard line. We had to stop them inside the 15 yard line a couple different times and got that done, knocked them back out of touchdown range. So many good sudden change kind of situations. I'm proud as hell of these guys and the way we fought. And unfortunately, you know, there might be five plays in this game that could change the whole game.

And just unfortunately, that's the way it turned out. 10 penalties on Seattle, fair enough. Nine on Dallas, 130 penalty yards on Seattle, 127 on Dallas. So they kind of, it was equal opportunity. That sequence he's referring to, they had to score three times.

They did. How about the one to no offense? Oh, wait a minute. Touchdown.

No, no. We gave Mike McCarthy a timeout, even though he barely moved. He's calling timeout. You know how Sean McVay runs a 40 yard dash? McCarthy's like, I'm not running.

I'll just go right here and go like this. And somehow, some way they gave it to him. I don't know what the hell happened there. It is my cause, my cleats weekend. I guess the referee thought the weekend is actually starting with my cause, my cleat. I didn't know.

Well done. Because I'd rather see the shoes than Blakeman. And Pete's not wrong. I don't know. We talked about it with Dean Blandino earlier this week. I don't know what's going on with the officiating this year. It appears to be way off of what it needs to be. And I'm sure you'll show me that arm is here. That arm is there. That's an arm bar. He shouldn't have dragged out.

He shouldn't have done this. But at some point, right? I mean, can't you call holding on every play? You could call holding. I'm like, what's the standard?

What is the standard? And I'm sure the league will push back and saying Seattle's had 130 penalty yards in two of their last three games. Happened against the Rams too in a loss in week 11. Yeah, aren't these two teams two of the highest penalized teams?

I'm sure they're sitting there and saying that. I get it. But in terms of your watchability, it was rough. And this was a game that I think the league kind of digs in the fact that it's the first game. Let me get this one correct. In NFL history, yeah. It's never happened before.

First game in NFL history where both teams scored over 35 and neither punted once. All due respect to punters, they are people too. But in a number of penalties over and over and over, we don't want to see the officials.

We don't want to hear from them. And Pete did the usual, which is like, I'm just saying you guys see it better, which is his way of saying, I get fined if I say something, not you. So write what you see. And for Pete, the number of times I'll see something and I'll say something, and then it comes back. The competition committee will just say, yeah, we don't have too much of a problem with the way it's done. I mean, Pete has, he's got some influence. He should be stomping up and down in the competition committee room and saying, what's going on?

Let's figure this thing out. Season on the line, I had to score three damn times from inside the 10. Season on the line. Rick Willen, who was damn near offensive, defensive rookie of the year last year, he's getting calls all over the place. He is having an off year, but I don't blame for Seattle for getting really pissed about this one. And then there's, as I pointed out, that notice I went with the play better than the refs ref stuff first, which is that play call at the end.

Do you think they'd want that one back? Let's go with our third string running back, having to get out of the flat real fast. And part of the reason why he didn't is maybe because he's, you know, just take a look at the playback. He doesn't get out there that fast with his first step. Tank Lawrence gets in the way. And by the time Tank Lawrence gets in the way, Micah Parsons has Geno Smith dead to rights.

Why are you letting Micah Parsons go unblocked and unaccounted for? And problem for Seattle too is their next games. San Francisco, they got to visit them and then they got the Eagles.

How big is that game? That's the first ever game flexed into a Monday night window. And part of that also has to do with who got flexed out. And as for new England, let's take a break and talk about them when we come back. Cause we're about to get a new starting quarterback in the national football league in 2023.

And then your phone calls 8 4 4 2 0 4 rich number to dial. We got a couple spots left open. Get in while the getting's good.

My basketball fantasy team is coming alive. Unfortunately, at the expense of my son, I don't like it. Well, it's your phone phone. Really? Well, he complains that I don't allow him the iPad time.

I believe that actually does. He can't make any transactions because he never responded to my multiple trade offers. Excuse me. Excuse me.

His dad won't give him any extra tablet. Excuse me. You know, excuse me.

And then you beat up on him. Appreciate you. Appreciate you folks thinking that I'm a root cause of my 12 year old son's fantasy. What else could he gets his iPad?

He chooses not to focus on that with his time. Wow. Hey, bus. Meet the bus. No, no. Just ran you over the time. You got it.

Interesting. It's all he wants. He watches baseball highlights. He watches car videos. He needs that. He's all about cars.

Can he get just 20 minutes? He could maybe not, you know, spend as much as he could tell. If you want to buy any car and he used about him, he's your guy. He knows my 12 year old is your guy. All right. I have to hit him up soon.

If anybody, what happened? Maybe we should have him do videos. Maybe that's the way he can get his iPad.

Sure. Just have him check his team now and then and respond to trade offers. What do you think? Like 20 minutes for Koop specifically just to do fantasy. Try to give him a top five player fantasy.

Just give him an extra 20 minutes. Didn't want him. Didn't want a top five player. You didn't want to eat because he's a diehard Celtic fan.

Didn't want a top five player. He does not want the Patriots to tank. Well, he needs to wake up. Oh no, I'm sorry. It's the other way around.

He wants him to go back here on the rich eyes and show. How bad has the New England Patriots season gotten? Oh, how bad has it? It's gotten so bad that Patrick Mahomes got flexed out of a Monday night football national televised appearance. And it's the first time the NFL has looked at a Monday night football game under the new rules that allows a flex from Monday to Sunday. They're telling Chiefs fans that they're going to be flexed from Monday to Sunday. They're telling Chiefs fans that might have just like, I don't know, any Chiefs fan that thought let's go to let's go to New England, right?

For right around the holidays. I don't know. They want to pick up some of the, you know, yellow golden leaves, I don't know, from the ground. They're just turning brown.

I have no idea. But they have basically said to people in New England or whoever was going to New England, hey, guess what? We are going to flex out.

You got to be there Sunday now. And Patrick Mahomes was going to be on a national TV. Travis Kelsey, who knows? It's possible Taylor Swift might have been in Boston.

She's in South America. I don't know. You really know. Like you really know. You don't know. You don't know. I know a lot more about what's going on with Taylor Swift than you do. December 13th in our household is a big night. That's a statement I won't even press back on. I'm sure you do know a lot more. It's because her or the movie of her tour is going to be made available to people at home. Oh, and it's her birthday again.

You don't. All right. Everybody should back off. We're not challenging. Excuse me.

What is happening? What I'm saying to you is the potential largest national television draw has been taken off of national television because they were playing the New England Patriots on a Monday. And I can't believe that's the case.

I cannot believe that is the case. And nobody in New England was going to watch that game on Monday night, dude. Yeah, but you're talking the face of the NFL against one of the premier franchises. It has gotten to this point, former premier, because I'll tell you, man, there's no way Belichick is. Belichick is is is a great coach. Is there ever is there ever will be. And you can't change my opinion of that.

End of story. But you could also see like he's the biggest draw on this team. In terms of promoting last night, Amazon Prime, next Thursday, Patriots Steelers, who it was a picture of T.J. Watt for the Steelers and Bill Bell, and a picture of Bill Belichick for the Patriots. What are they going to put up a picture of Bailey Zappi? Well, they're not going to because they don't even know if he's going to start that game because it does appear. Bill's open for business on changing his quarterbacks.

And it looks like it's Zappi time. The fifty third different starting quarterback in the National Football League of two thousand and twenty three and Flacco could make it fifty four by the end of Sunday as well. If that's what the Browns are going to do.

This was Bill this was Bill Belichick on Bailey Zappi and what he brings to the equation, what it looks like he he will bring to the equation for the Patriots game against the Chargers this weekend. Yeah, I mean, he's pretty consistent. Just about what it's been all year.

It's pretty even kill. Not a lot of roller coaster with him. Not a lot of roller coaster with him. Shots fired at Mac. Here's where you can sit there and say, here's here's the real reason why it was flexed out. The NFL is doing Bob Kraft a solid. They do not want to see Bob Kraft embarrassed in primetime.

And so there's no reason to put him out there. So like, hey, Bob, you're one of the greatest donors here. You'll be in the Hall of Fame at some point. We'll do you a solid. Get you out of there.

We'll throw you in the one o'clock window on Sunday. So you guys losing by 40 will get lost in the red zone shuffle. It's an interesting an interesting way to look at it. They might be doing, you know, their partner that pays a billion dollars to the rights of these games is solid. The partner might have knocked on their door and say, what are we going to do here? This could have been an ESPN in in induced scenario.

Smart move. And the team, the game that they're putting on is Philadelphia, Seattle. That is a oh, yeah, much bigger game with a lot of stakes. And I think a better environment. It's a business decision. Absolutely.

But again, that's I I said it tongue in cheek. And there's nothing funny about this situation of what's going on in New England. But there's nothing on the Patriots worth watching in primetime. It's awful football. It's it's an awful product that they're putting out there, which lends me to this game for the stakes for the team that's coming in. Because if the Chargers stumble in this one.

I don't know what fired at Logan Airport, man. I don't I don't think the Chargers will do that with Brandon Staley. I don't think that they will do that unless they want to give what Kellen Moore looks see. What's he going to be like in the last month? He should already been into his two or three week look, see, but we don't know what's going on behind the scenes that we simply don't. We don't know if he's.

We don't know the guy that team may really like him. I don't know. I don't know. You don't. We don't. We just don't.

Maybe we don't. And so but lose to this Pat's team, this Patriots team and Justin Herbert, the way that the the way that the Patriots have been points challenged. Averaging what about 15 points a game? Herbert should have those 15 points on the board for Los Angeles by halftime. They agreed, right? Like they should score at least twice in the first half of this game in the end zone.

Put him up there, no doubt, even though the Patriots defense is does play well. I mean, I've only given up 10 points each of the last two games. I've seen it myself. I know that.

So I've I've seen my own two eyes again in Germany. How how the defense plays, but how tough it is for the offense to move the ball and maybe zappy is the God don't know. We'll find out. But if the Chargers don't win it. I mean, they have to. If you look at the AFC standings, they have to have this game. And I know you want the Patriots to tank, but they are sitting here saying they have to have this game. They got a short week visit to Pittsburgh coming up. And then they've got a they've got a national televised game.

I'm calling it on Christmas Eve night in Denver, which could be seven and five by the end of this weekend. We don't even have the Chargers sniffing it. Look at that.

We don't even have the Chargers in the sniffing it category. That's how that's how they've fallen and he can't get up. So.

Yeah, man. They got to win it. Look at that. The Chargers have won four games and have lost seven. What in the hell is happening with this team?

Home for Denver at Vegas, home for Buffalo at Denver, home for Kansas City. Oh, my goodness gracious. This is when they have to have they don't get it. Look out below. I truly believe it. We have a third interim head coach in this season.

I don't know if the Spanish is going to do that. I just simply don't know. Let's go to the phone lines here. Rami in Montana. It's been a while since you chatted with him. What's up, Rami? Hey, Rick, how you doing? What's going on, brother? Oh, just got to pick your brain. I'm curious about the UW. I mean, 10 points spread that seems that what it is to me.

Yeah, it's high organ is favored by 10 points now. Wow. Well, we've got a guy sitting in Vegas who's calling the end and I coming up. I don't know either.

I don't know. And then to have to go to your Michigan Wolverines love, which I got your back. I don't understand this with Michigan. It's 0.05 for each half for Iowa in terms of their scoring.

Is that what it is, Chris? Not expecting an Iowa offense. I don't want to hear that. I just simply don't want to hear it. Anyway, I'm just curious. I got it. No, I again, as you know, with your chest, brother, attaboy. Thank you, Rami. Greatly. Appreciate it.

I'm putting it out there with my chest. As you know, the gambling thing escapes me later on. I think you were.

Did I hear the Eagles are an underdog at home? Yeah. Field goal dog. Doggy. All right. We'll talk about that later.

Get the mask. But Chris Fowler is about to talk about the Pac 12 championship game. Turzo in Iowa. Turzo, I'm sorry you were hanging on for damn near the whole show yesterday and get to you.

We had Stone Street on all third hour. What's up, Turzo? Hey, Rich. No apologies needed, man. I listened to you guys anyway. Thanks, pal.

When I'm sitting in the office doing work, I don't mind it at all. Thanks, pal. Hey, TJ, I think that jacket that Dak was wearing was Stingray. Oh, Stingray. Yeah, I knew it was some type of print there. Yeah. Stingray. Yeah. You sure about that or are you just guessing?

It was amazing. I'm pretty sure, TJ. I got a belt that looks kind of similar to it. Well, say, yeah, ballers wear Stingrays. That makes sense. That makes sense.

Well, that's why. Yeah, that's what made me laugh yesterday when you guys had Nick Buckeye on and talking about the bookie. Funny story is my number for my bookie was the same number that I had whenever I went to go take the bar exam.

I don't know if the fix was in, but it was quite a funny situation. Wow. What? I know what he's talking about.

Yeah, the number that I would call in and use was the same number that I checked in whenever I went to go take the bar exam. Oh, I see. Okay. 703, something like that. That's what it was in the clip. Yeah, something like that. Okay.

What else? What's on your mind, Teresa? Well, just as we were kind of talking about that funny line with Iowa, it's been a huge talking point here in the state just because it's probably the first time ever or maybe the first time since Yale first played football back in 1827 that that score's been that way or the line's been that way. It's just because this offense is so bad. Great defense, but I think you guys roll on them. I just don't think Iowa stands a good chance. I feel for Cade McNamara, the former, who was the Michigan quarterback in the first of the three straight W's over Ohio State and then blew out his knee while J.J. McCarthy took the gig and he went to Iowa and I'm sure it's going to be a tough watch to see Iowa play Michigan and he can't be out there because he got hurt again.

But I'm not here for the Iowa can't score this, that, the other thing. And I appreciate it. Thanks for the call, Teresa. I appreciate you guys. You bet it. Saturday night, Saturday night I'm going to be locked in and I'm going to need some space is all I'm going to say because I'm I'm going to have to see it before I relax. Chris Fowler coming up, you know what I mean?

I was the king of the tip drill interceptions, the crazy stuff, the weird stuff happens. Yeah, this game could also be 42-0. I hope so. Yeah, I hope so because I'm here in Michigan comes out here for the Rose Bowl. If that happens, I think that's wise. Oh, and I think they play the winner of tonight's game. I think that's also wise.

How great would that be like an old school Rose Bowl before tradition totally gets flipped on its head as tradition flips on its head. Phenomenal. What do you mean this guy? This guy already has two tickets. Okay, I invested.

Okay, good to know. Good seats, Richie. I already got five, Mike, so don't worry about it. You have five? No, I don't. You should have just stuck to that. Maybe I do have it already, but that's not a show-off.

I'd rather talk about the game than whether I'm situated. Rich has a box. I was in that show party. What do you mean? I mean, show party at the Rose Bowl. Oh, that's what you're saying.

Yeah. I'll be off that day. Just so you know, I'm going good.

I love the Rose Bowl. Do you know when it's kicking? It would be yes, 1 p.m. 1 p.m. No matter what is 100%. Well, that's what the ticket says. Okay, we shall see.

None of what you said is true. 100%. It's never played at one, isn't it played at two? It's five Eastern always, isn't it? Well, it's probably a pre-kick at one, but it's one o'clock. Pre-kick? What's a pre-kick? By the way, you need to be in there early. On a ticket? Have you ever heard of a pre-kick on a ticket? It's two o'clock. For sure, right? For sure, two o'clock.

Well, it said 1 p.m. on the thing. Chris Fowler, if you don't know the answer, he's calling the damn game. For the real story behind some of wrestling's biggest moments, it's Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard and Conrad Thompson II. 1995, when WCW announces they're going to be live and head-to-head with Monday Night Raw, feels like this would have been something Vince would have kind of laughed off. No, we did not like them moving to Monday nights. There were a lot of hotels. They all carried CNN, TBS, and TNT. Vince was convinced that Ted Turner had deviously done this deal to get in the hotels and keep us out. Something to Wrestle, wherever you listen.
