Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to another Monday episode of the No Contest Wrestling Podcast. The last time you saw us, We were live in front of a crowd at WWE World after WrestleMania. And now we're back home. We're back in the studio.

I'm so tired. Like We go to NXT Stand in the liver after we got threatened by Jada Parker, and when she was on here, that we had to go. That's true. We went. It was awesome.
It was some great time. Stand in the liver was great. We'll recap that. Then we did WrestleMania. Two nights.
Two nights of WrestleMania. You had to go to Green Bay to do the rich island. The next morning, after we did our live pod Monday, I got home Monday night, had to catch a flight. Early Tuesday morning, which I missed. That was like playing strains and automobiles, but I got to Green Bay.
And uh, Rich Eisen showed we had to cover the NFL draft.
So, Shay, I was thinking last week, my job. Was to go to WrestleMania. and then cover WrestleMania and then go to the NFL draft. And cover the NFL draft. And I'm like, man, life is beautiful right now.
But we met, you know, we met some great people. Here's some pictures from our time at WWE World. Of course, we had Dirty Dog Mysterio. We got Ricky Saints. I apologize.
I went back to his old name twice and kind of beat myself up over it. And the ruler. Obafemi, but it was, it was, it was amazing, man. It was amazing for us to walk out on that stage. And see those people.
And I think I told you, man, if we get. 10, 15 people to show up. It'll be dope. And there was probably like 75 people out in the crowd and not that's just seated. Not counting the people who were all filled up or all around WWE World who were watching.
It was. It was awesome, man. And it was cool to, you know, get to chop it up with Ricky and again with Oba. Yeah. You know, and that weird guy who we couldn't figure out if he proposed to his wife there or like that tripped me out.
But yeah, while you were in Green Bay, I then. uh kidnapped my little brother and sister and Uh, went to Raw. Rother. Yeah, the Rother Manio. I missed that unfortunately because I needed to get home.
I mean, you gotta, you know, you got your day job, right?
So I hit Raw, and then you come home, you try to decompress a little bit. And then yesterday we got treated. To TNA. Yeah, man. That was a great night at the Galen Center on the campus of USC.
TNA Rebellion. You know, O'Shea was invited by Tommy Dreamer to come and sit on a panel with Dave Legreca, Tommy, and Gia Miller. You guys did an opening match and then a match later on in the night. Absolutely. What was that feeling like?
Because they announced you. You got a great pop, man. You got a huge pop. And the funny thing, guys, is he got announced as podcaster. Slash actor and I was like come on NCW forever, bro.
NCW forever. It was great. I always get nervous. Not necessarily like. Shaky, but you get butterflies every time it's about to go out.
Yeah. But luckily, you know. Beautiful city of Los Angeles. Always treat your boy right.
So she recollected to the fullest, you know? Got a pu yeah every every episode. But yeah, I got a pop. Really loved it. David Lagreca has been a friend of mine for a while.
Tommy Dreamer, you know, we're all busted open family. Um but yeah, it was great. It was great. I loved it. Uh they put on a great show too.
The card was amazing and um You know, we got the opportunity. We basically just sat in gorilla. Yeah. And we watched this show and it was just a unique way to kind of watch wrestling. I don't want to give too much of the behind the scenes.
The secret making, but you know, we're there as everyone's getting ready, and you know, you get to watch them right before they walk out on stage, and you know, the preparation, it was just pretty awesome as. long time wrestling fans to be able to sit at that position. Fortunate enough that they let us uh They trusted us enough to be there too. And it was just amazing. TNA, you put on a great show.
Yeah. And yeah, thank you. Thank you to TNA. Thank you. To Tommy, you know, treating me and my boy right, my younger sister, Karima.
We got to meet the Hardy Boys. Like, come on, man. Chop it up with Matt Hardy a little bit. Jeff was in the back a lot. He got to paint his face.
Jeff was, you know, doing this make, but Matt came out and we really got to chop it up with Matt Hardy for a solid, like, you know, 15, 20 minutes. That was great, you know. But also. It was kind of humbling too, because there were wrestlers that would come up to us. And of course, they know you.
Let's just be honest. You've been in movies. You have that before. We've been in movies, yes. I've also been in a movie, but nobody remembers that.
But the point being that for guys that I follow on Twitter or have watched the pod just to come up and they're like, they know me, which is crazy. Course, they know you, but that's you know, that was really humbling to have people come up and say they enjoy the podcast, they like what we're doing, you know. You know, it was, it's great, and it, it feels awesome. Yeah, we, we put, um, We put a lot of our heart into this. We don't, you know, we all have our idea of.
What it could be and how big it can be, but to get the response from everybody, man, it really is the, the, the, The cherry on top, and it lets us. Makes you feel good.
So we appreciate everybody out there who's shown love to the pod. And yeah, but we got a lot to recap today. Yeah, man. And since we're already on the Rebellion, you know, they had the X Division title Ultimate X match, which Moose. Retained his title, but what a crazy match!
If you've never seen an Ultimate X, they hang wires. above the ring and then they Strap the the exhibition championship to it. And the goal is to climb up poles.
Somehow make your way into the middle of the ring. Yeah, like don't don't don't don't don't don't do Snatch the belt. But then You see, not only do you have to get the belt, you've got to hit the ground and control the belt. You see, and that's where Moose came in. I believe it was Leon Slater who did Leon Slater first and foremost.
Oh, man. Props to you, my G. Like you showed improved, and as you said, there's a future match that we can't wait to see. Yeah, which is the young OG, Javon Evans. Javon versus, oh my god, that's gonna be great.
But Leon, he snatched the X Division title, he dropped to the ground, and as he dropped. Moose just came and just speared him out of his soul and picked up the belt.
So Moose retained. Right. Shout out to Moose. He was also like everyone, all the TNA wrestlers, man, were so welcoming. and and so accommodating to us yeah you know and It was great.
It was great. But that match was phenomenal. And there were, you know, it was kicking off. And there were moments back there where you really see how much everyone really cares for each other. Because, you know, these spots, like, you know, the spot where he did the dive and kind of the guys didn't quite catch him.
And you saw everybody in the back kind of thing. I always say, you know, when I jump off something high, all knees. Land all knees, baby. You'll be fine every time. Just catch me.
You know what I'm saying? TNA Knockout Tag Team Championship. You know, Heather and Ash by Elegance. They retained over Metaphor, Jakara Jackson. Elegance, the intro is so funny to me.
It's just so like commercial. You know, they also beat Spitfire and Gigi Dolan and Tatum Paxley. That was a really cool match, too. You know, who else did we see, man? X pot.
Right. Let them know. Sean came out in a six-man tag between Ace Austin and the Rascals against the system, which is Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, and Moose. And, you know, X-Pac was there. He was in the corner of the system and the Rascals.
And he came out through a few spitting hill kicks. He looked great. You know, we were saying maybe you see him in the Rumble next year. You know, give me one. I mean, one NCW Hall of Famer.
Ace Austin and the Rascals, they won that. And then you had the international title match. Steve Macklin. He retained over Eric Games. He's a beast.
He's a beast. Yeah, for sure. Titles Count Anywhere match, though, man. Santana against Mustafa Ali. Talk about it.
That spot. where he dove off the ring into the steps. That was one moment where the entire backstage, everybody. Bro, it was like a bomb. Yeah, Mustafa Ali went to dive out, and they had the steel steps.
They were sitting up. Yeah, propped up. And he dove through the ring and it just looked like. Head first. Yeah.
Oh, man. This morning, got to be rough. Right. But we saw him last night after the show. He said, oh, I'm fine.
Yeah, yeah, I bet. Wait till that adrenaline go all the way off. Yeah, but that was a great match. Santana won that one. And then, you know, the person you gave me a shout out for in the pre-show, you said your podcast tag team partner TJ put you on Masha Slamovich.
You know, Masha is another one of those wrestlers. When I first saw her, I was afraid of her. I was like, she scares me. Her and Tessa Blanchard, they went out, put on a banger LA little 15-minute match, saw Masha retain the knockouts title. And then, you know, the Hardys.
Against the Nemeth brothers, who you came up with a great nickname for Nemethis. It's hard to say. Nimethus. And the fact that the Nemeth brothers went to the Hardy compound, stole it. They just gaffled them.
That's a crime. I don't know why you didn't call 911. That's a crime. You can't just go into somebody's compound. Did they know Gothic Baby was there?
She could have come out and whooped both of them, to be honest with you. They steal the belts. And what leads to the match that we have, they come out wearing the stolen property. Like, I don't belong to you. Yeah.
And then what happens? They steal a victory. They steal a victory. And now they're the TNA tag team champions. And now Lane claimed to be the greatest brother tag team of all time.

Me and Trick and your sister were in the back chopping it up. Trick had a jacket that looked like it was made out of cow skin. That's the best way I can describe it. There was fur on the thing. And for 15 minutes, Trick is sitting there.
Mind you, it's dark in the back, and he's telling me, Man, aren't you cold? I'm cold. And I'm like, Nah, baby, I feel good. It's all right. And then 15 minutes later, I actually looked and saw man's didn't have a shirt on.
No shirt.
So I'm like, yo, Trick, no wonder you're cold. You got leather pants on and no shirt. Two and a half, three hours, we're kicking it with trip. I'm just thinking these are support lash, and then it hit me. He started.
Kinda. What you stretching for? What are you stretching for? And I'm watching, and I saw him just practice, throw a kick. I went, oh, wow.
And I went up to him. I'm like, wait a minute, you're doing a running. And he just smiled at me. I was like, I might be doing a little something. He goes, I didn't come this whole way to do nothing.
And I'm like, How did I not even like I got so caught up in the show that I didn't even think about it?

Waiting for live on a Friday in Metro. A little funny story, a little humble brag.
So we're at the Fountain Blue, and you know, we're just kind of killing time. We see that there's this party. Uh, at live, well, we knew about the party. Our guy Sean Graben invited us to all these. Yeah, we still had to see.
So, we see about this party at Live, and then um. A text metro boom and I was like, hey, what time are you going on? Because to say the doors open at 11:30, we're thinking, you know, get down there at 11:45, whatever. He said 1:30 in the morning. Uh-huh.
So you text me. And you like, all right, we're gonna meet Metro at 1:30. I said, at night, 1:30? And that was kind of like a quick little example, a little microcosm of what that weekend was about to be. At that point, it was like 10:45, 11 o'clock when you text me that.
And I was like, oh. Yeah, like, this is what we're doing. I'm too old for this. And, bro, I was a single black father. I get I get tired.
I get tired, bro.
So, like, yeah, it was 1:30 in the morning. Here we go. We went down there, and you know, it was live. We met some cool people. Yeah.
But, uh, and a little circle with Kelly Kelly. That was chill. That was amazing. But, yeah, then after that. Obviously, we had a lot of people.
Before that, I'm sure many people saw the videos of Liv and Raquel and Kelly Kelly on stage. We were behind them.
So we got at the bar. We got the bike. We got some real ones. Yeah, man. I've seen so many videos.
So a lot of you have seen it. Liv on the Mike and Raquel. Liv is hilarious, dude. I just got attacked. For those on YouTube, you saw I just got attacked on my show.

They won the tag team by the titles, beat Fraxium. Fraxium had a long run with those belts. They're moving up, I'm sure. Yeah, no, yeah, yeah. They already got the call.
They already got the call. They're going to be on SmackDown. Shout out to Hank and Tank for winning that. You know, Saul winning. Dark State, man, let's talk about them because we were kind of feeling Dark State.
They some shit talkers, right? Like mid-match. Yep. Like giving it to the crowd. And that's what I love.
That's a lot of the reason why I really. Really dug the tribal chief storyline with Roman because he started mid-mats talking shit, like talking shit to the crowd.
So, yeah, I'm, you know, shout out to the dark state. Saquon Schrogers, you know, he's definitely like the vocal one. Yeah. And there's something about Saquon that you just, you kind of look at and you just draw. And there's something about this dude that draws you to him.
But like with Dion and Osiris, you know, inside the ring and then Cutler James on the outside, he was getting involved. I was like, is this a no DQ or what's going on? But, you know, a lot of people want to compare them to the shield way too early for those comparisons of the sort. But these cats, you know, they're doing their thing. And I hate it when wrestling fans try to push another narrative like, oh, you know, T-Moo Shield.
Nah, man, let these young cats do their thing. Let them find their footing. Let them build something. And there's something there with Dark State, man. And it's exciting.
And I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with it. You know, they beat the D'Angelo family all because stacks turned on the dawn. You know what I mean? You could see that was coming a mile away, though. Eventually, there's always going to be that power struggle.
You know, and the under boss thinks now he could take out the dawn. Last time I saw. He, him, and Lucas were in the desert. I didn't really get to catch up what's going on, but I will in the next few days. But um, yeah, we've we've seen the Sopranos, we know how this goes.
Right. You don't like getting pushed around so much. You think you got better ideas than the boss. We'll see how this goes and whether that's going to lead to Him getting pushed a little higher and Tony getting called up, or you know, what type of dynamic that's going to be. But when Stephanie's music hit, now we've hit a point in our wrestling fandom, being fans of the WWE at least, where a lot of times the themes or the music, you have to kind of wait to see whose song is this? Yeah, like the songs don't really hit like.
But I know Stephanie's song. All right. I know Stephanie's song. I'll let you know. And I start losing it.
The crowd starts losing it. Her name comes across. And then it's like, this is really about to happen right now. I was like, this can't be. It can't be.
It can't be TJ. And they go out there. And I know just from. My time watching wrestling, I was like, there's no way somebody's gonna lose. Like clean.
Like, there's something has to happen because both are up here right now, and it would be just detrimental to the characters if they take a clean loss. Like, what Stephanie's. Supposed to lose and then go back to NXT after you just got beat up by EO on a raw. Or then EO supposed to lose after she just losing would never have been in the plan. Stephanie losing could have been because EO, in theory, is the top of the food chain.
It doesn't hurt Stephanie.
So they had to figure out a way. And of course, there is a bit of an interruption. A bit of an interruption with a friend of the show. Roxanne. Roxanne, Roxanne.

But we got it. Nah, man. There was a finish. Finish or not, that match was exciting. It was amazing.

You know, Julia just did their thing in that match. And then we ended up with Oba Femi. Retaining. Yeah. Javon stood out in that match.
Over Javon, the young OG, and Trick Willie. That match. was like you're looking at the future. Yeah most I think right like And we were commenting like that was the blackest match of all time. It was like, even the ref.
If you didn't have dreadlocks, if you didn't have locks, you didn't belong to the ring. I thought maybe I was going to have to let mine down to get in there. Everybody got locks, even the ref. You know, it was, you know, I was expecting this match. You would have thought it would happen in February, but it didn't.
We got it in April. You know, just. Great. Javon is something else. And as that kid gets older, he's only, what, 20?
20. He keeps filling out and just kind of learning more about wrestling. He's a star. Trick Willie is a star in Oba. I don't even, I don't know.
Oba is Oba should have been on my 25, but I was just doing animal things. But when we get away from that, he's going to be on the list. The ruler. But yeah, just great, great time at NXT. Just shout out to.
to all the performers out there man you guys had to get up early you had an early morning um And you did your thing, you know, shout out to, we didn't mention Lola Weiss. She she's a a favorite of ours here. She was in the the ladder match. You know, Izzy Dame, Kalani Jordan. Theahal and and Zarya.
They, that ladder match, like you said, there's something about the ladder matches with the women that just hit. And the athleticism these women have, you know, Saul, of course, you know, she's just uberly athletic. You know, Kalani doing splashes off of The rope on the people laying prone. On the ladder, you got Thea Harry. Excellent use of the word prone.

So that was NXT. That was a weekend, man. And then we had like a two-hour period to chill. Yeah, right.
A little hiccup. You know what I'm saying? Get back to the hotel. Maybe, you know, get a drink or something. Maybe grab a quick bite because then it was off to Allegiant to watch night one.
Night one of WrestleMania.
Now, we all know how night one started. Yeah. We knew what time it was. You knew that was probably going to be the match before they announced it. Yeah.
Because you've got to get that crowd hyped. And what more is going to get you? What a better way to get, you know, set the whole thing on fire. I remember at. At forty Watching Damien Priest cash in and to start off the show for night two, it set the tone.
Yeah. So with this WrestleMania. Perfect way. Let's just get Jay and Gunther out there. Let's get it done.
And you know, they put on a solid match, you know, um. Look, it's kind of weird when you get matches like this. Like with Kofi Mania, right? For as massive and as cool of a moment, that is, there was just something missing simply for the fact that I knew Kofi was one of them. Like, I knew.
You didn't make all these shirts. Right? So it was like, you knew. And so when he happened, it was. an amazing moment for sure but it was also kind of like I knew that was going to happen.
With Jay, even though 99% of myself was like, he's winning, there's still that. 1%. I wasn't 100% sure. Yeah, because I mean, you talked to a lot of people who thought Cody was winning 39. The odds were Cody was winning.
So Roman wasn't doing all the interviews that Cody was doing, and it just looked like they were making him the guy. And then uh obviously my your tribal chief. Um But Yeah, there's always that little bit. of inkling in the back of your mind, well, you know, what is the world where Jay doesn't win? And as a wrestling fan, you always think like when the company feels everybody thinks this is gonna happen.
How like Did we throw that monkey right? Yeah, like, how do we just flip it and then we just have the entire internet?
Well, I need you to save that sentence for a little bit later in the pod because that will play, come into play. at night too, which you just said as well. Yeah, a bunch of them. All right, all right, all right, all right. And then what else?
So, you know, shout out, you know, the way Jay won, though, making making Gunther tap out. Yeah, that was crazy. Did not see that. My only wish is maybe a little bit more struggle. In his sleeper hold, because he tapped fairly quick.
But the point, who knows how much time they had. True, but the point is. When the ref rang that bell. That place erupted, and we went nuts, and everybody went nuts, and it was just such a feel-good moment. Because Jay won, and not only did he win, but he won by making him tap out, which is something that none of us probably saw happening.
No, you know, and then you have big Jim come down, his brother, and hand him the belt. Like, it was just Jimmy John, yeah, it was awesome. And then they made their way back up the ramp, and just you know, it was just we all felt great. That like everybody seemed happy at that moment. All was right in the world, man.
Because, like, all was all was right in the world, DJ. What a way to put that up. But yeah, over 15 years, uh, busting his ass. Um Helping keep everything afloat during the pandemic. You know, when we all didn't know what we were going to be watching on our televisions when it came to wrestling.
and really putting on those performance. Based matches of, you know, there is no crowd. We can hear every word that you're saying, we can feel every emotion that you're trying to put out in the story during the match. And we remember those times of him going against Roman, trying to get either the rights to the tribal chief or get the belt. uh the the going back and forth with his brother The Sami Zayn arc, where we kind of saw Jay start to become his own thing.
I don't know if this bloodline thing is the right thing for me. All of that factors into the opportunity that he has earned, and then to go on to leave his brother. Go on to a whole different show. Yeah. You know, even eventually, what are the tag team titles without his brother?
You know, just all these things that he had to do to get to be the main event Jay Uso that we know. And then, of course, how could I not thank Paris? Because when. When the American crowd sees the European crowd do something cool, soon as WWE comes back, we steal that and make it our own. Got to, man.
And boy, that crowd in Paris, bro, that really kicked off that Yeet shit like I've never seen, you know, with the completely in unison. The dude has been on a rocket ever since. To see it finally happen, my boy got the big gold. Yeah. The big goat.
Jey Uso, we give you. Yeah. Yeah, that was amazing. And then, so, you know, you're still high off of that. And then New Day comes out.
Yeah. New tag team champions. We will never boom them. Nah, once you knew, once they went hill, it was only a matter of time. You know, we had to see the New Day, you know, reclaim those tag team belts and solidifying themselves as a top 10 tag team of all time, in my opinion.
Did they not get the record for most in WWE history? They might. I'm not interested in that. I think that was the whole spiel is that them winning those might have been the record for most tag team titles in WWE history.

But. Shout out to our boys, the new day. We just can't boo them. I mean, like, I get it, their heels, but if you really go back and look at the promos from when they were faces. New Day have always been bullies, bro.
Well, no, explain this. I mean, like, people who might not get it. They've always had the numbers game. Like, you know, they've always found a way to, like. Get get the crowd to just help bully some some heels I mean just the ultimate form of disrespect.

Well, I remember when the turn started to happen and we had the conversation about. The M's that they wear, yeah, and I didn't know, and you, yeah, yeah, the Mahjin, bro, for my Dragon Ball people. You, I know you noticed the Mahjin hints. One day they were dressed, one was dressed as Goku, one was dressed as Goku black, and uh, yeah, those are those are the hints to the other pieces of nerd fandom that a lot of wrestling fans are. And someone like me who doesn't know, like, I never would have got that, yeah.
So that's why this podcast was necessary for you to teach me some of that stuff, bro, because I never would have known what that was, bro. You are Obi-Wan, I'm Anakin, you gotta watch me, man. But yeah, New Day. New Day got it done. They got the titles that look like pizza.

Now you've got one member is a world champion. The new day completely flipped everything, and now they're tag team champions. Just kind of amazing when you think about it. Been here a long time. And then now, next up, we've got the Jay Cargill-Naomi match.
Yeah. And that was, you know, that was personal. Right. That was personal. This is the end of the Cocoa Butter Avengers, as we know.

Then Few hours before that, We saw Jay Cardill's husband, former Cincinnati Red Brandon Phillips, outside of the valet. Turned out he and a few other people, because we saw firefighters coming in. Oh my God, yeah. They were. Brandon Phillips, along with his daughter, Jade Cargill's daughter, and I'm not sure how many other people were stuck in an elevator at the hotel for roughly two hours.
Two hours.
So there were a lot, you know, there were kids that we saw come out crying because they were scared. Two hours? Two hours getting stuck in there. That's like an Academy Award-winning movie. Like two hours long time.
Two hours cramped in an elevator with no telling how many people were in there.
So I don't know. I'm sure, you know, BP must have told. Jade and, you know, where's her mindset now? Her daughter being out there.
So you got to give her, you know, extra props because she had to, you know, I'm sure had that because her daughter, I mean, I don't want to tell tells, but her daughter was, you know, she was scared. She was upset with her dad, you know?
So I'm sure Pops relayed that to mom and I'm sure that had to weigh on her a little bit when she went out there. during her match.
So just, you know, respect to her for being able to, you know, just Power through that. Absolutely. I can't. I mean, I can only imagine if I had something to do and, you know, my. I get a call that my baby girl is stuck somewhere and I can't get to her, or if I were even there, try to help.
So. Kudos to Jade Cargan. Way to get it done. And so her and Naomi, they put on the match, you know, and, you know, it was a good, decent match, you know, but Jade got the W. But I think the most important thing that came out of that to me personally, as you can attest, was my godson Bear Kutcher.
You know, we know he's a fan, and he told me a few months ago. Got his name out there. Bear Kutcher told me Naomi was his favorite, right?
Now, Barrett. Bear because of school, different things. His dad's in and out of town working. He hasn't really been able to watch as much lately. Naomi went through the hill turn and everything.
So I wasn't sure if Naomi was still Bear's favorite because Bear's so pure of heart. Like, if you're bad, he doesn't understand. You're just bad.
So we watched the match. I kind of explained to him: look, if you like somebody and they go bad, they have a reason maybe they're bad. It doesn't mean you don't have to like them.
So the best thing is, it comes out of this that. Naomi is still Bear Kutcher's favorite wrestler. Yeah. So that was, you know, who would have thought it, but yeah, he still loves Naomi. Yeah, that's his lady, Matt.
That's his girl. Yeah, I don't know what to tell you. Like, I think she's right, honestly. You know, like, you got a way to go, Bear. I appreciate that about you.
Oh, let me tell you what else, since we're on the Bear tip, real quick. Bear had a, I had a great day with Bear Saturday. Yeah. Pouring rain in Sherman and Van Nuys. He had a flag football game.
He had like a 45-yard touchdown run. He had two two-point conversions. Me and him sat for four hours and we watched WrestleMania. And I'm telling you, it was one of the best days ever, man. I got to re-watch it with my guy.
And you good at football? He's the man, man. I'm hating. He's the man.

Yeah, you can't see that. Didn't realize that headbutt that he hit Ray Phoenix with when he dove off the rope. Didn't realize the part that that played because we're there and you can't really see those little subtleties. Angles, angles. Angles.
So everyone was a little upset because we thought Ray Phoenix would get the victory in his first WrestleMania. But then you watch and you go, okay, that's. Makes a lot more sense when I can see that. But like you said. It's still kind of tragic that after all these years, Chad Gable still doesn't have a wrestling.
The man match for Gable is low-key insane. What are we doing here? It's a joke. Honestly, like Chad Gable's one of the best wrestlers on the planet for that man still to not have. A WrestleMania moment is just insane.
The dude comes in for work every week. He was Shorty G for a while, bro. The dude has gone through the fire and he can't get a mania match right now when he's got a stable that's on TV every week and he can't get a mania match.
Somehow, El Grande Americano from the Gulf of America comes in and gets a mania moment for Chad Gable. I ain't with it. I ain't with it. But anyway, that's whatever. Then we got Tiffy Time against Charlotte.
for the uh for the women's championship and uh Got a little rough. Man. That was rough, bro. I put a star next to this one because It's gotten so personal that you kind of know, like, oh yeah, just pay attention to a couple of things in this match. And yeah, man, they uh they scrapped.
They scrapped. You know, there's a couple of moments we gotta I gotta go back and and and find the key spots, but you know, a little dental work, you know, a little a little a little m little Little gashes here and there, but I think it kind of added to Tiffany because obviously she's such a beautiful woman, yeah. And but to see her look like she went through the ringer, lost the chipped a tooth, looked beat up, but still was able to power through. That kind of puts that Barbie thing, you know, because when you think Barbie, you think princess and pretty and prim and proper. Tiffany's all that, but.
After that match with Charlotte, she came out looking like she went 15, 12 rounds, 12, 15 rounds. And it's like, all right, I'm just standing. Again, that's something that just can add another layer that adds some toughness to that character.
So shout out to her. Shout out to Charlotte. Like, look, man. She's still one of the greatest to ever do it. Whether you agree or whether you disagree, it's a fact, man.
So I don't want to say my opinion or your opinion holds more weight, but there's no argument there. Yeah, I mean, like, we know what we've seen. We know what we've seen. She's still doing it. Charlotte Flair, we have to get her on the show, man, because there's a lot of conversation I want to have with Charlotte.
But, yeah, man. And let her. Let her be Underappreciate and see how far that gets you, right? Because Charlotte Flair, I. There's been a lot of rumblings online about An event that Went untelevised.
You know, some shots have been sent to Charlotte all over the internet. I want her to come back in full force and just dog walk every move. Shout out to Charlotte Fair. Yeah, no doubt, man. All hell, the queen.
And then we have the main event of night one: Rollins, Reigns, Punk. The anticipation was through the roof for this thing. I mean, you could literally feel it. in the stadium, right? You have three of the greatest of all time.
About to go at this main event match, and then it to me it delivered. Man, I it truly. Before you get to the ending, the match delivered. You know, each guy had their spots. You know, you.
This Roman and Seth thing is great because it looks like it's never going to end, which is awesome. It's like our generation's, you know, Macho Man Hogan. Or You know, Brett Sean or Stone Cold Rock. You know, this is the Roman Seth era with these two. You know, the faces of their generation, man.
And it's, they're always going to put on a banger. And then you put CM Punk, who got his main event with Living Color, playing him to the ring with the wise man walking to the wing, to the ring, like he told him he would do all those years ago. It was just, it was perfection before it even, before the first punch was even thrown. Yeah. Seth coming out with the flamethrower.
Yeah. You know, Roman coming out dolo solo for the when was the last time he came out to the ring? you know, alone without Online or Paul, you know, it's just like, this is now the, is this Romans final for him? Because he elevated every single person. That he touched in that run.
You got a world champion. Big Jim, he's going to get his. I don't know if he's going to get the world title. He's a secondary run surely coming. You got Solo, you know, you've got Paul, like everyone.
Who was associated with Roman, Sami Zayn? They've all been elevated. And now we get to see where this next phase, this next chapter, Roman, comes from. And what they do with it. And it's, you know, it's exciting to see.
I feel like O'Shea. Right now, this is the Roman that WWE wanted 10 years ago as a standalone babyface, but the fans wouldn't have it.
Now, I think we're at the point now where what they wanted. could come to fruition and we will see him be what they wanted him to be. You know Everyone knows that Roman Reigns is my go. That's my dude. And it is just something to see when.
That music hits and how quickly those ones shoot in the air. If you ever go to a live event at WWE and when that Roman music hits, if you're lucky enough to be at an event where that music hits, you feel it. Look around the crowd. Like your eyes are going to be forward, of course, but just take a moment and look. at an entire arena, an entire stadium.
With their wands in the sky, and it lets you know the journey that we've all been on as fans and just what. That dude has brought to get to where he is right now. You know, bless him, of course. And he's my, your hour. Tribal Chief going solo dolo felt weird after all this time, you know, all this time.
But of course, still have the utmost confidence. My boy Punk getting his WrestleMania main event. out there with Paul. The good old times. Yeah.
Um and then Seth And his flamethrower was dope. Because it was cool, TJ. I like the fact then he dressed in all white the night before Easter. Like that, there was just something there with that. You know, look, let's just cut to the chase.
We all know what happened at the end of the match. Paul gave Punk a chair. We thought he was going to hit Roman Paul. Nutmegged punk. And now we're like, nutmeg them.
And then we're like, okay, now Roman's got the chair. He's just crucially just beating down punk. And then Roman's pointing out Seth. Yeah. And he's like, get him.
And then the shot. The nutmeg heard round the world. If you would have sitting there. Just blasting Roman in And uh You know No, here's the deal. Yeah.
As you know, I said this was going to happen. Two weeks, by the way, people, two weeks before the whole Seth told Haley. And actually, my friend John predicted this too, and he said that. Give a damn. You didn't put your name on it, though.
You know, you had Shador Sanders and all these unnamed sources. They didn't want to put their name on it. I put my name on it two weeks before Seth said Paul was going to owe him a favor. Just threw it out there. And actually, I got to, Seth Rollins was on our Super Bowl or our draft show for the Rich Eisen show.
uh on Friday and I got to bring this up to him. Let me make a little WrestleMania prediction. I think that would something that would set the world on fire. Who's the one guy that the wise man? Paul Heyman has not Been in the on air manager slash advocate slash wise man for out of those three men.
No, Seth. What if at WrestleMania forty-one? Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins. Wonder Twin Powers. Activate.
What if? What led you down that path? Was it just pure what could happen? I want to see the chaos unfold. Or was there something that led you there?
Was there a hint that you could?
So just to clear it up, because we posted this on our Instagram, right? And we just said, hey, TJ called this. And of course.
Now everybody knew what was happening. Right. But this Seth was two weeks before you told Paul he owed you a favor. Ah. That was May 24th.
You said he owed you a favor on April 7th. Wow. What made me think it? I've watched way too much wrestling in my life. I've sit there in fantasy book when I've got nothing to do.
And it literally, when you were on our set that day, you were on the show. If you recall, I told you and you were like, oh, you have a prediction? And I was like, I'll save it because I didn't want to say it in case I was right and then have your face, have your face give something away.
So I was like, I'll save it. But it just made sense. It made sense because we've already seen him with those two. We've never seen him with you. And I thought, man, this, and I said something that would set the wrestling world on fire.
And you said, burn it down's my thing. And I was like, that's why I said it. There you go. I mean, look, here's the deal. It was, if you follow the food crumbs, if you look back at the last two months, you could probably figure it out.
You know, you could see it. You could see it. And I think the writing was on the wall. I mean, it made perfect sense to me. And it was a partnership waiting to happen because, you know, CM Punk's supposedly.
This guy's friend, but he's leveraging his friendship to get a favor to get what he wants, which is, you know, this main event at WrestleMania and to have him in his corner. And then Roman Reigns, supposedly, they're, you know, as thick as thieves, but Roman Reigns left Paul Heyman to get destroyed by his family and never apologized for two seconds.
So I go, you know, if Roman takes the wise man, then Punk's going to eat him alive. And if Punk takes the wise man, Roman's going to go after Paul Heyman. I was really the only solution, and I told Paul Heyman as such, and here we are. Here we are. Here we are.
Is this a long-lasting relationship? This is a business relationship. And that's the thing that's the beauty of it. And I don't want to get too deep into it, but you've got the two greatest minds in the history of our industry coming together to create and push forward for the future of our industry. Roman Reigns ain't around enough.
CM Punk's not reliable enough. I am both of those things. And Paul Heyman is dedicated to this industry. He will always do what is best for business. And so will I.
And so I think that is a nice arrangement. And I'm smarter than those two, punk and Roman.
So I'm not worried about any betrayals or any chaos like that. We've got this thing dialed in. I'm very excited to see where it leads us.
So there you have it right there. You know, he, first of all, him asking me what made you think of that, and then saying that, like, if you follow the breadcrumbs, you might be able to see it. But he also didn't, like, he wasn't like the people online who was like, everybody knew that. Everybody could see that. He actually looked kind of surprised that, like, I.
I pulled it out. Is that I said that, broke. That's like your forfeit. And I let him slide. Then we started talking about nutmeg was a good saying.
All right, chill, chill, chill. But I mean, what do you when you think about that? Number one. What I will say is You're right. Completely, completely.
Those who have watched the No Contest Wrestling Podcast, he saw how distraught I was when he even brought up the idea because then I saw the window. Like, once he put some out in the universe, it's there, and he did it on the airwaves.
So I was like, great.
Now I got to worry about this. And then you were so nervous. And then Seth says.
Now you owe me a favor. Why didn't you say that? And I was like, damn it! TJ, don't do this. And I was so.
I haven't been that mad after a WrestleMania night one in a very long time. I was in my room, disgusted, took a cold shower, just with my clothes on, just upset, dude. And we didn't even go out that night. I'm gonna go out and have fun. After I just had my world crushed, bro.
Yeah, this man stayed. He's a grown man. I have a child. That was another moment where wrestling broke my heart, and I'm wise to the business now. I know better.
And still was like. I don't want this to happen. I can't. No disrespect to Colby. I'm sure you're a great guy.
I'm talking about Seth and Seth. I just don't think. I just don't want to do this every week, man. Every week, I got to see the wise man with Seth. Get used to it, baby, because from what he said.
This is just getting started. Yeah. Brusselmini's just left. Yeah. Golly, dude.
Yeah, buddy.
So, you know, that was a nice night one, I think, recap of everything we got to do, you know. But I need to get to the nitty-gritty, bro. The best moment of WrestleMania is coming. But I think for now, if we're going to recap two, it might be time to maybe save that for the For the next pod, because of the time we're at right now. The time we're at right now.
But again, Giving the shout out to everyone at WWE. Yeah. You know, for week we actually went to, and here's another pillback. I'll say this. We got to go to Gronk Beach Sunday after night two.

Damian Priest. I got to show Karrion Cross the video of me picking him for his bar fight crew. Karrion Cross gave me a pound after he saw it, and it was like I popped concrete.

This dude's fist is kill you. Yeah. Like Karrion Cross. And then you start bringing up him snapping baseball bats for no reason. And he was just laughing like, yeah.
I do be snapping five baseball bats every time. Shout out to Karrion Cross and Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre. People we got to, you know, kind of kick it with him. And did you say thank you to Jada Parker?
So you jumped the gun. Listen, you were saying everybody we saw and like, I'm not trying to get you beat up. Yeah, because that's the point. Jada Parker, we got to chop it up with, you know, friend of the show. And I told her I made a mistake.
I said, I didn't. I didn't see you repost any of the pictures that I posted from your match. And she goes, Cause I didn't see any. And then she got a little tense. And I was like, oh, let me show you.
Then I realized I only posted the pictures from the latter match. And I didn't post any pictures from her match. And that kind of got her to tell me, look, we're friends. But I'll slap my friend and then I said something smart out of pocket like a dude. And the next thing I can do, she started taking off her earrings and her rings.
And I said, oh, wow, I'm about to get jumped.
So I tried to get away from her.
Next thing I know, at one point, she grabbed my hair and pulled me back. And I got assaulted by Jada Parker. It's fine. I'm not going to call the cops. But was I afraid?
Yeah, a little bit, for sure. And I want you to know. You are somebody, TJ. You are somebody, bro. Don't let this deter you.
Don't let them stop your shine. You are somebody.
Well, anyway, man, this is a good episode that Phil just got to do a little recap of TNA Rebellion, NXT stand and deliver in night one of WrestleMania. We had a tremendous few days of wrestling watching. And, you know, next episode, we'll touch on, even though it's been a week or two, we'll touch on what we thought about night two, like some incredible matches on there. Dirty, dirty, dirty dom. Dirty.
