Let's pretend like these NBA results. Have any significance in the world at large with the Bucks losing. Two The Bulls Yeah.
Now here's um The problem With that loss. Actually, what do you want it to be? Whatever you think is the problem, is the problem. This is a crushing loss. From the Milwaukee Bucks.
Here's how this went down the last few weeks for me as a Bucs fan. I'm kind of buying in. I'm kind of buying into some sort of path back. Into the playoffs by, of course, virtue of the playing game. I think the last time that I sat here and talked about the Bucs a little bit.
Is, yeah, look at this is very doable. They're a game behind. The hornets. I saw the game Friday night, some, you know, out and about, whatever. I can't even remember.
I'm at the point now of old age. Where on Sunday, if you ask, what did you do Friday night? I do not know. I can't remember, don't know. But I know the game was on for a little bit.
And I saw the score, and they were getting crushed. And I thought, I think we might have then turned on SmackDown. On Friday night, I was with my kid and we were going to bed. That I put him to bed, and rather than watch the Bucks, we're watching SmackDown. And then I knew they played the day, and I knew the Bulls were very bad.
They had gone on that 10-now 11-game losing streak. And I thought, okay, Bucks and Bulls. They play Sunday. I'll try to jump on after. And just talk a little bit.
Get a new episode out there. I got the National Perspective Show on Monday with Carlos. He's a Bulls guy, so this could come up. But to really sink my teeth into Bucks. Bulls, let's let's do a little Sunday night, maybe half hour episode or so.
Okay, that that'll be good. That that that appeases that's good because for me, good for everybody. Um They were up. Pretty good. And then I went over to pick my son up.
He was at a buddy's. Guy was watching the game. Then they were only up two.
Okay.
Well, whatever. Bulls, they're not trying. They've lost 11 in a row. They're not going to lose this game. In the box.
And then I got home and they were down like 24 points. Or that's what it seemed like. Just a cavalcade of errors in this game. I think the thing that we're going to talk about the most. Out of this one is a 27 point.
Run. that the Chicago Bulls Headwind on. In this game. A twenty-seven point Run. Let's go.
Let's see. I got this tweet here from Nathan Marzion. He lays out pretty well. Just how bad the Milwaukee Bucks, weird pronunciation there, just how bad the Bucks have been. over the course of the season.
In November, they lost to the Kings at home. They lost to a Hornets team without their stars. They lost to the Wizards December 1st. The Bucs lost by 45 to the Nets. On the 14th of December, and then New Year's Eve.
The Wizards, that was a CG McCollum, 10 seconds left shot, and then Giannis couldn't make the game winner. All right, so that's five tough losses to some teams that, whatever. Long season. You can still make excuses. Then they start playing teams and losing to teams.
And they're also sitting guys. The Nuggets, one of those teams. Um twice in January. Nate says here they lost back-to-back games by trailing by 40 plus. Remember that in the second week of the month.
Wizards give you another loss. To end January. And then this is a Bulls team that had not won. Uh in a month And you just found a way to lose. to them.
The most Impactful thing for the Bucs this weekend at the United Center was Giannis. At the elimination chamber. Fire Doc Rivers is a comment on YouTube from your average Bucks fan. Mark D says, Fire Doc Rivers yesterday. QBD decals.
Did they convince Giannis at halftime that tanking? was the way to go. And that's why they maybe came out so flat. And had an eight-point fourth quarter, folks. And Abe Point fourth quarter.
I guess also Kyle Kuzma's weird new invention of how to pass. At some point, that's a highlight that's going to be circulating. Around as well. The other thing is when I went to pick up my kid, I still thought we were in some sort of a playoff. battle.
Like the play in tournament is something that We can be excited to try to reach. Are we even going? to reach it. Because they're already a couple of games back, and now you factor in this loss. This was, they were one game back.
of a playing spot. Like on Thursday. And they're 26 and 33. Yeah, 26 and 31, we were feeling okay about them. They had won back-to-back games.
They beat Miami. They beat the Cavs barely. Even though they arrested their guys. Got crushed by the Knicks on Friday, crushed by the Bulls. You got the Celtics now.
Shit, tomorrow? Uh I might find my way back on here. For that. That's gonna It's going to be a loss. It's at home.
Is anybody going to that one? Is anybody bold enough? To go to that one?
So the Bucs uh lose to the Bulls. And this game is about as bad. of a loss as you can have 11 losses in a row. For them, it's never going to be good to be the first team. That then uh Gets that streak snapped against them.
And don't let the Bucks fool you. Like, they are contending. They're trying. They're trying to win games. And they can't.
Against teams that aren't. That I would say. you could factor in as somewhat of a Problem. I would say for sure.
So, really horrendous game for the Milwaukee Bucks. We all witnessed it. Or if you didn't. You know, part of me jumping on here too is. Oh, by the way, if you were out and about on this Sunday, The Bucs gave up a 27 run.
27-point run to a team that's not trying. And to a team that hasn't won. in over a month. Any God-fearing team would fire Doc Rivers. Today, but as you go Some of those losses, and you've lived this season.
They haven't done it then, so why would they do it now? There's there's no There's no way. The Doc Rivers gets fired here. In the rest of the season, maybe this is what the Bucs want. Again, I've been talking about this.
Like, who is this benefiting? I think You look at this Bucs team that did not trade Giannis.
So that means they want to win. Unless, unless. They didn't trade him because the package wasn't good enough. They do want to trade them. They do.
They're going to do it this summer. Maybe they give them a few games if they're competitive at the end. but they got to be competitive to get there. And maybe Giannis comes back, maybe he doesn't. I don't feel like we have an accurate timeline on when Giannis is coming back.
At least it's not something that I am cognizant of.
So, if he is going to come back anytime soon, that's going to be a surprise to me. Um I'm not I'm not gonna expect him to play in March. I mean, why, even if he rushes back, it seems like now. Three games back of trying to get into the play-in. Which You have to win two games for where they would get in anyway.

Oh, a 27-0 run given up to a team that's lost 11 games in a row. Of course that is bound to happen. But it does seem like they are. Trying. And if they're not, kudos to them.
But they are trying. And they are losing to teams that aren't trying. To win. That, Bucks fans. Tells you all you need to know.
J-Mock, Giannis is done for the season. Protect himself. Yeah, maybe we don't see Yannis. He wasn't at the bench earlier this week on the bench. I don't know where he was.
We were looking for him at the game we were at Tuesday. Um he was there today, but You know, this also timed well with Elimination Chamber. Where he was at last night. Pretty good seats. Did get a mention on the broadcast.
I Was like kicking myself. That I did not have a great weekend taking the boy down to Chicago, watching the chamber, coming back to the United Center the next day to watch Bulls Bucs. I didn't do that. Would have been a lot of money. Can't really expense too much of that, I don't think, despite You know, I got an LLC.
There was some content I would have created, but it would have been an expensive. weekend uh and for what? Because the chamber would have been fun. Uh this Because you always what I like in my wrestling promotions are Do you have a Masked Man storyline? Do you have multiple masked men storylines?
If you have multiple masked men storylines, then I'm interested. We still don't know who took out Jacob Fatu. Or who took out uh Jay? Trade Giannis this summer. Fire Doc Tomorrow.

I'm good. As long as Jimmy Haslam's here, I'm good. What's the connection with Jimmy Haslam and Doc Rivers? I don't think there is one. I think Jimmy Haslam doesn't know shit about basketball.
is my theory. And so he's like, oh, Doc Rivers, I remember him winning a championship and getting great press. You got to work in TV. You got to work in T V. If you get fired, you gotta work in T V.
Sean Payton did it. He's well regarded. Came back? Doc Rivers did it.
Well regarded. Came back. But sometimes you never do come back. Like Mark Jackson went to T V and then he got stuck. in TV Purgatory.
And then they can't even get into that anymore.
So It helps, though. John Lynch is another one. John Lynch worked in TV. All of a sudden, everyone loves John Lynch. Do you ever hear John Lynch get discredited or criticized for anything else other than me?
I've never heard a single person criticize John Lynch other than me. Granted, I don't know what the Bay Area. GM discussions are like, but Nationally, and what gets to us in Wisconsin. Seems like a lot of people are pretty fond. Alva Janage.
So I think where I'm discouraged with the Bucs again. I don't think there's anything more fun.
Well, what's the most fun is when you win. What's the most fun is. Like in 2021, when you're a team that is expected to win and then you win. Anytime you win at the end, that's fun. But I do think if you're going to rank like what is the most fun way to win.
It is when you don't have expectations. And then they find a way to win. You know? Like teams that don't have expectations, find a way to win. This Brewers team last year, they had the best record in baseball in the regular season.
And you know what? That was fun. Because every win was, wow, how are they doing this? Wow, that guy made a big play. Wow, they've won how many in a row?
Oh, man. One more win, they would have got us burgers. Three weeks later, we get those burgers. That was fun. Expectations were low.
They exceeded them. The season. Was fun. Um As far as the Bucs Expectations We're high. Giannis was hurt.
They were bad.
So then they were low. Not high, but higher than this.
So then they were low. And now They got a little higher. with the possibility of like Rollins and KPJ playing well. You know, this gen guy we got and Cam Thomas, good debut. There's reasons to get excited.
But The bar to clear wasn't that high.
So you've taken a situation. where expectations couldn't be lower. The bar to pass those expectations also could not be lower. We're not looking at this Bucs team. And saying, oh, you know what?
I think we can win the NBA title. We're looking at this Bucs team and thinking. Oh you know what? Maybe we make the play-in game. Maybe we make the tournament win.
We could probably take Detroit. Yeah, we could make that a little more strenuous for them than than they would have liked. That's a pretty low bar. You're asking a team that would presumably With the talent, they do have talent. And then give them Giannis.
And all you're asking is be the tenth best team in the East? At the end of the regular season, and you have six more weeks to do so. And they're not they can't even seem to clear that. That sucks. And so now I feel dumb because I had.
Not high, but good expectations, a top four team in the East. I think we talked about. Not going to make that. I completely gave up, lowered expectations, and thought, you know what? We could do this.
Like, I'm not smart enough. to get an A plus and be the best in my class. But I could pass this test. I can pass this test. I need a little extra credit, but I All I gotta do is get a sixty percent.
That's a D. I passed the test. I don't know. I show up to take the test. My pencil's breaking.
Teachers accusing me of cheating. When I'm not. Just can't think of anything that I studied. This is a very low bar you've set for yourself, team. And they don't seem like They are able to Avenge that.

Okay, good. I just want to make sure everybody's on the same page because the guy in front of me just did that, and I was just thinking, like, oh man, this sad, sad soul. And speaking of sad, sad souls, yeah, what a great day.
So, okay, I was at the elimination chamber last night and I immediately saw Giannis when he walked out. And I don't know why. This guy now has go-away heat with me. Like, I saw him, and normally I'd be like, oh my God, it's Giannis. How awesome!
Look at how much fun he's having. But everything about him pissed me off last night, and I couldn't take my eyes off of him the entire time he was in the crowd.
So I have a problem. I really do. Like, he was wearing like a pink. Hoodie and like a look at me kind of outfit, and it's just like, What happened to our guy, man? Like, it's just this is sad.
This is not something I ever expected to see, and like. Eat. Whoever is PR team. You want to talk about in about a year's time, taking someone from like maybe the most beloved athlete there is to like. Get this guy off my screen.

Well, I'm worried I'm going to go down a similar path, but I get what you're saying. Yeah. Um I mean this game, what wha what can you really say about it? I think You know, the types of losses that they had this year are disturbing. But the most disturbing thing I think to me is that if you step back.
Well, I think that the Bucks genuinely believe that Doc Rivers is the guy to lead this thing. Like, it's not okay. I don't think they do. Only Jimmy Hamlin does. They don't.
I don't know what is going on there. I don't know. They don't even seem like they're. Like They don't, the way the Bucks are acting, they don't seem like Doc Rivers is even a variable as to why this is going on. It's very weird.
There's no. You know, we say you got to be held accountable, but it's just weird. It's a weird feeling. It's like a rudderless ship basically. Mm-hmm.
Yeah, I don't know. I just think, I do think Giannis has played his last game as a buck. I don't think he's coming back this season. Especially when he looks at the product on the floor and it's like You're gonna sign this Super Max contract, allegedly. This will be the last Max contract that you sign.
Like, you're not going to risk that for this team. For potentially a 10 seed. And I've had this thought for a few months now that I think this is gonna be the absolute definition of a lost season where the Bucks will miss the play-in by one game and have the absolute last pick in the lottery and just get nothing to show for this season. And that'll be the end of the Annas Era. We just go out with a squeaky fart.
Did you think about staying for the game today or no? No, God, no. Although it was funny, so my buddy and I get on the elevator at the United Center yesterday, and in the elevator, they had like posters of players. And it was Josh Giddy and Matas Bouzelis. You can't be doing this bad against teams. That's the other thing. That's the point. The main point of this. They are losing while trying.
