And then promote the Christian faith. Monday through Friday, Matt takes calls from all around the world on his radio show. We've compiled this week's best. Matt Slick's Top 6.

Number six. So, I have a question. As far as Catholics go, are they going to go to hell?

Yes. Because they pray to Mary? Or if they believe in the Trinity? Well, you can have someone believe in the Trinity, like the Catholics do, and then add works to salvation, and it validates the salvation, because they had works. So, if you believe official Roman Catholic theology, you can't go to heaven. When you die, you go to hell. Because it denies a true gospel.

Number five. I was on Instagram the other day, and there was a thing on there that said, they were talking about how Christians should not watch horror movies or scary movies, because they can be possessed, or Satan could get into them by watching these movies. I'd like to know where in Scripture there could be a verse that can be used to support that idea. Of course, horror movies went around that.

Yeah, that's what I thought, too. So there's a lot of people who speak out of ignorance, and to say, well, if you watch a horror movie, you'll get possessed. That's out of the book of stupidification.

Number four. I've heard different pastors through the years say that the Abrahamic covenant was unconditional, and that the Davidic covenant was conditional, and that once Israel sinned and broke the covenants that God had given them, that they no longer had the right to claim that land. I just wondered what you believe the Bible teaches about that. I believe they still have the right of the land, because it was a promise of the land in Genesis 15 and 17. God said to Abraham that given them a certain area, and that it would be theirs.

It would belong to them. That's what he says, I will give you a gift to you. This is Genesis 17, eight. I will give to you and your descendants after you the land of your sojourners, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I'll be their God. So that's what it says, everlasting. And so the land belongs to Israel, and not the Muslims, false religion.

Number three. So there is the view that the Christian church has replaced Israel. So if you go to Romans chapter 11, starting at verse 25, it says, For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery, so that you will not be wise in your own estimation, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, just as it is written, The Deliverer will come from Zion.

He will remove ungodliness from Jacob. This is my covenant with them when I take away their sins. From the standpoint of the gospel, they are enemies for your sake, but for the standpoint of God's choice, they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. And so I don't believe God's done with Israel. And they blew it with the rejection of the Messiah.

They've had all kinds of problems for centuries because of it. And when the time of the Gentiles is done, then Israel is going to awaken. And so that's what I see in scripture. He's not done with. God's not done with Israel. Number two.

How do you explain the way the word caught up in the first Thessalonians 4? Post-Trib Rapture, we're going to go through it. There's only one return of Christ. There's not two.

There's not one and a half. He doesn't come down halfway and then return with people. That's not in the scripture. There's just one return, the return of Christ. That's how the Bible talks. Verse 16, for the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with a voice of the archangel, with the trumpet of God that dead in Christ shall arise first. This is when Christ comes back. There is nothing in the scripture that says two returns or one and a half returns or a partial return. It's not there.

I just challenge anybody, show me where it is. I mean, if he's thinking, they come down to the clouds, kind of gets the people and it goes back up because we'll meet him in the clouds. If this is pre-tribulation rapture, as people like to say, then that means that Jesus comes down in the clouds. We go up into the clouds to meet him and then we go up, but that's a problem.

And the reason it's a problem is because of this. When you go to Acts chapter one, verse nine, after he had said these things, he was lifted up while they were looking on and a cloud received him out of their sight, which is Jesus ascending into heaven. And as they were gazing intently into the sky while he was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. They also said, men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you in heaven will come in just the same way as you watch him go into heaven.

That's how he's coming back is from the clouds. Happy trails to you, until we meet again. Goodbye, goodbye. Oh, goodbye. I hope you had the time of your life. It's okay now.
