You'll be shocked to hear what's happening in India today.

Persecution of Christians will hear firsthand for my friend. Yes, upon the stage for the line of fire with your host activist and author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown your voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution Michael Brown is the director of the coalition of conscience and president of fire school of ministry get into the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH.

That's 866-34-TRUTH your again is Dr. Michael Brown, do you remember in acts. The ninth chapter when Saul of Tarsus encountered the risen Savior. The risen Jesus. Jesus said temps. Also, how long will you persecute me. The Puritan author Thomas Watson said the the body being hit or hurt the head cried out what happens to God's people in this world is of great concern to our Lord should be of concern to us. We are part of the same body in the midst of persecution pressure. God is always moving, this is Michael Brown. Welcome to the Lana farm sitting in studio with two of my dearest friends in the world is soup. Autumn and Monica from India notice upon now since 1992 and into India.

Basically every year.

The last 24 going on 25 years new Monica when she was serving in the ministry there before they were husband and wife and had the amazing feeling that they have. So this upon Monica great to have you back in the studio here yet. Thank you going to be made to be with you alright so this upon them from the time that we first met.

1992 until today. Your ministry is has grown dramatically. If we just take a moment to talk about church planting and in tribal regions what what have you seen happen through your ministry in these last 25 years. This is amazing things happening now to tell you before I share that that I really felt like a Jew and Gentile relationship is the is is the only way that God can accomplish his purposes to the church so God bringing you into our lives that I was seeing tremendous blessings of God on the ministry you when you're just coming on putting your foot deadlocked on the just teaching and encouraging us but you will the relationship is the fulfillment of God's plan of establishing church are not so for the last 25 years and of the lot has had present to Brian for over 7000 church as an ace in the areas where the gospel has that would be inflicted before some of those tribes that still naked, and they don't have a Bible that won't die.

Let's people got saved because of the gospel and then retrained will will 2000 church planters from the same tribal reasons are that each one has like a 3 to 5 churches, and then the lot of blessing and I believe that the different aspects of the ministry and overstocked into a chill of the home's like a van that we took it off over 4000 children so far. They come in living Tarzana provide them food, accommodation, education restarted to Christian schools in India. One of them as 700 student and that didn't work with the disabled pulley affected disabling gardens. Most of them to be begging on the street but we provide them training in computers, tailoring and printing press for 12 months. We give them a government certificate and they get jobs in the government and probate and starting their water businesses and every site a trending analysis was cited at nursing school. This is 3M obvious program recognized by the government of India. Once that train because they can go anywhere. Some of our children and our children. Homes are trained nurses now and then we held our hospital, we rebuild a 25 minute hospital and we help for children homes in different areas and this is amazing to see expansions and then not really in India. We started working on my desk in Sierra Leone and Germany, Canada and this is amazing to see what the Lord's day, and I believe it's because of our relationship. Mike if friends seeing is believing, and when you actually go to Indy and see firsthand the work and then see what is happening in Germany so the country since it's mind-boggling. It's it's exactly with the gospel supposed to be an G will be right back, call a friend tell him to tune in the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get into the line of fire now by calling 8663 here again is Dr. Michael Brown special interview today is my friends this upon them in Monica from India in the states for little while and then heading back to India this upon something fascinates me, and what you said and and I remember early on in our times. In India you talked about the importance of Jew and Gentile working together basic that's been my my life in the body of got saved and it largely Gentile setting. In most of the church on the world is is not Jewish, so that's that's sitting amid all the time and yet you felt growing up in India right me not into Israel at that point you felt that there was something sacred in God's sight about this is something important, because of which he put a special blessing where we can get that idea from well I got it from Genesis chapter 12 God said to have have less you and I would bless them that bless your no itself. The next thing I don't want to say about that.

I thinking about the blessing.

It all started from Habre so I really believe that from the beginning for you bless Israel. God will bless us and we being a part of the generation and that I didn't know much Bible that but that was very clear to me that if we want to be blessed we missed. We must less, as I'm praying for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem and then amazingly then I was going through that the Lord brought you into my life and kept as on many people.

The first Jewish man I ever met in Virginia Beach on my first visit to America I spent tooth that was with them. I had the privilege of leading him to the Lord. I would Jeff Gordon, though I suitable, but I don't know where he is now, but amazing. The very fact that like I was wonderful experience for me that I could sit with this man I talked to him about Jesus shared my testimony of how real this is Jesus. It's not just of religion. Jesus is real damn count I had with the Jesus and I shared with him. I said Jesus is a real handy is a Jewish man and he died on the cross and shed his blood on the cross. When I told him I saw the blood drops coming down.

I saw tears rolling down from his eyes under that was amazing experience to be since then the Lord brought so many people into my life and that's how I know the will you be that we I think a Gentile can be blessed relationship with the Jewish existence of the first Jewish person you met you let Jesus this amazing and white when you started preaching getting a burden for the lost in your country enter you erratic in the fiscal 20 got you found out that people are that even though Jesus was what happened with that while I went there the blades and I sat there talking to them about the gospel of Jesus Christ. What Christ has done for us and they didn't know what it was and I know that that they think it was someone's name in the village sure we asked about Jesus.

They they did.

I started talking to them about Jesus but them Jesus is that of white God people. Scott and I doubtless tied to cinematic on religion.

American got so I cited trying to explain them that Jesus is not from America is not a white man. He's from Asia, Middle East, and I didn't realize that I was making them mad at that time there were anger decide if you continue to talk will be to week here. That number of times it doesn't happen every time I'd totally ignored their warnings talk to Sherry explaining who Jesus then dad saw them picking up the rocks and and manage this doctor throwing on that one. He done might write out Paul had done the right side hand and it's like I'm hurting. Then I start to type my head and I saw the blood coming down on Atlas blessed me with it blessed me just to see my blood.

I have seen the blood of many people in gangs, but this time this is my blood. Part of my Jesus will get all his blood for me Blessed meant there was a visible smile on my face. I showed them the blood.

I said I still love you because Jesus loves you amazing thing wasn't to three months in the Lord revealed himself to them on a group of men came to me and I dissent due to my breast set. Who are you and I said we are the people that hit you with the rocks, and they said we wanted to come back and build a church. We all accepted the Lord. We are all twisted snow and amazingly you are there safety is when dinner at the home for the elders.

I don't leave yourself Francis. This is why workers close as we are me. This is the reality of the gospel's Monica you should restore before I'm here with us from Canada German background felt a burden for you calling friends.

You got close to the India cause you this upon them to remarry now have have a family with two wonderful teenage kids and you been an integral part of the ministry for many years but working specially with the women there.

Obviously they they could tell us about what you've done.

That's been a help to them in a blessing to them what can you tell me about these women mainly wives, moms with kids so not superstars and things like that was impressed you most about them.

The women of India when they become saved their heart immediately is to see their family saved to see their community saved and are so prayerful. That's the main work of the women of India as they pray so much they get up so early in the morning.

345 in the morning spent our hours in prayer and just crying out we know God hears our prayers. It's in Scripture, it talks so much about women praying but also many for many years. We went to village to village with the gospel of the women in our ministry and many women do that. They walk on the street singing and then go door-to-door sharing the gospel and every village we went to when we went they were hats and now their nice homes is electricity.

Their streets guy just transform the villages and we saw many women get saved during our time of evangelism so that yeah the women they are just there so faithful to their calling to their homes but also to prayer may just love the Lord your also saying though that is the gospel women to these completely impoverished villages that as a result of people coming to faith and living differently than that the distributive basic life provisions in not not dying from from as many health related things, as you just said the water and things just just basic things like that which I getting rich, just needs met not starving to death and so even on a practical level, you see the impact of the gospel. I've seen India transformed by the gospel amazing our area.

Our state of mind up just transform that the gospel every village we went to preach the gospel build churches and God came through the government actually brought the blessings physically to the villages and I seen them change and that's a guy does. That's what the gospel dies amazing that issue. Part of you seen this not just in India but you see that European countries like Germany you seen it in African nations like Madagascar. We just got to have minutes before the break would give us an overview of what's happened in Madagascar's is one of your spiritual sons, a Korean young man is over there ministry chore on the Deborah event that Piraeus ago. They called me and said you need to come here. I'm back at my gasket is not on my right at the dissent and we went down it broke my heart to see the fourth largest island in the world with 22 million people in six Buddhist country, I saw the children sleeping under the trees, so many single mothers broke my heart.

That's that that's where I'm secondary. My friend that I took 22 people with me from America, Canada and Australia on the India and when we went there recently did the Crusades their open crusades on process conferences under amazing results, like hundreds and hundreds of people giving their hearts to the Lord in 40 years by God's grace we planted 12 schools list talk to." But for the children to be doing them lunch every day. I restarted doing giving a lunch at the streets every day for at least hundred people, seven days a week and then we planted churches I've been to prison but the 1000 inmates a day. Let me go under with all our friends 22 people who preach the gospel and I asked them at the end of it hard enough you want to accept Jesus 800 people raised their hands on brand approval is of distributing Bibles to each one of them. Then the prison authorities came to us immediately. Deb, would you like to build a church yeah and I said sure in three months by God's grace we break the church in the prison, the most beautiful building in a dirt to prison there and every day the business card that on worship on restarted doing medical Stand under it a medical guy also providing different things couldn't even keep up with what is happening John.

They were all dead good being a great job. We trained local people on the local people are doing all the work.

It's like an explosion amid the gospel explosion when the Lord is doing that amazing to same God same gospel, same results, not just in India Madagascar. We come backwards with some of what's happening in Germany of all places and then some subsuming users. India needs prayer.

The rising tide of persecution.

The line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown voice of poor cultural and spiritual revolution.

Here again is Dr. Michael Brown best friends for being with us today and one far-reaching six call by the way, we we've got some very, very important new videos and very important new articles on why now go to Esther to Brown asked Katie or Brown dartboard very moving call came in last week from a woman Christian woman working at Planned Parenthood under deep conviction of the spirit in knowing she had to leave their some recent articles are written political issues and biblical issues. Lots of great material take out Esther Gibran asked Katie or Brown dartboard to catch up with us all right. It's easy to think well certain things work in India. Your Africa people are as educated and and will believe anything you can put a tree in front of him and tell him this is gonna worship the treatment I mean where people are educated, where people have better theological backgrounds. This won't work well. The gospel works anywhere, so God calls you your spiky support of to start ministry in Germany. Wife Monica from Canada but was German lineage German background and Canada's cat is different than India. Germany's even more different.

Very different Monica, how would you just in a nutshell, summarize the differences between Germany and India. The mentalities the lifestyle as far as the east is from the West.

That's how different they are from 10 even Canada.

Everything is different. There's nothing that's the same really. And I got it. It's not easy when you're going until westing country and their really more atheist and not looking for God, whereas in Indiana. Everyone is searching for God so it is easier to to show them the way to their real true God, but in Germany much my closed-end know they have everything they need. So they they don't need God really that's been hard to break there and it even just the mindset of discipline on time and already an electrical yeah I was I was preaching one time at a pastors convention. These are Pentecostal pastors who believe the things this group is still very analytical and and so on and I was teaching a message on holiness at a national pastors convention and afterwards a couple guys came up to me and said you're using your English Bible has the same word for holiness here and here. But there are two different words in the Greek and if you've studied the Greek you'll see that your message doesn't work course I knew I was right. So the next time up there. I got up I said let's look at the Greek and smashed it written out over in Germany because that is like a happen and if the service Germany's customer service starts at seven service, then you can start seven at home.

There were nine of all right for the preaching of me. Just lots of things different. You were determined and yes upon your regular show them that same gospel same faith produces the same results. He started eating homeless people in the train station. The types that most people would even bother with what's happened to the to the homeless ministry still doing that was with the church. The regular going on Saturdays, but what's happened. Beyond that, while as you said gospel is the same every minute.

Gospel is the power of God unto salvation, but haven't done the first time I saw the man on the real chat is maybe his wife pushing him and I felt like I need to go on talk to him about Jesus.

I have a German friend who invited me with me and I talked to him. I said go talk to me said no you can't do that in Germany I fasten I need to do that. I really feel it is God I really dragging him.

An event of this man stood before the you channel stop the bridge out of the middle of the law. I said I'm from India pasta from India. God sent me here and I spent the sharing the gospel with them.

He looked at me, listen to me for some time. He said you are a bagman you need Jesus.

I don't knew Jesus. I not only heard his wife's but I saw the heart, I saw the pain I saw the anger I went back unless I could, praying for him that you were named the Lord showed me a shape of a heart on scars on the heart, and I felt like the Lord was telling the sun.

My people are hurting their mind them my it took Mellon changing your love and plan this nation of the people on the Lord put so much love in me and I've been going every year on 2007 deluxe Buchman said go for long time. I'm going to center Y will again in Germany on German is going to touch your help with the gospel.

I was preaching in the churches. God will open doors, but in 2009 we went to the train station. We saw so many of hundreds of people of the weekend sitting there taking drugs and drinking on hopelessness that is like, I can smell the literally damn under the Lord led them in my heart under we've entered talk to some of the pasta sauce that advised everyone off them did that said the same thing. It won't walk in Germany. We don't go to streets. We don't do that. It won't work on them and finally to get a Christian social worker was and wasn't so much social work, expecting humor really would encourage me and I went to Mina talk to Mark God was telling me to do is set up or do you think you got a poor Indian man, there's no poor people in Germany funny or hot dogs go back to Antioch to Africa and I made and that made me more. I meant that I need to do this. I smiled at him. I said thank you Denver event. We bought it the hard dogs may 2009. Went to the train station and right of them said we are having a picnic. Would you like to come and join us that all said, is the black press people.

The satanic worshipers Ask homeless people and restarted loving on them that such asking me why are you doing gate Denver said he loves you because Jesus loves you Mike for the last eight years underwater than what they ate years. It's a nonstop so many change your life's under so many of us are so many to use on so many baptisms. Then I started realizing they don't belong to the street. We want to bring them into your home. My desire was to change their thinking that don't belong to the street at all prepared for the house 2010 the Lord provided as a house to use it for free, and it is all remember that Jesus else we invited them every Thursday to come but a heart made the worship time. Unlike out at family gatherings like on one of them immediately, not have to be cut to the said slick a family. I card.the tears started running down from eyes.

That's what I wanted for them to know that they have a family on the third step reported by God's grace softly near that wanted to sell it and the Muslims want to buy it and about. We bartered by God's God provided is the money totally paid for, but did I realize that the three step program going to them, bringing them into the home and providing a home for them. Says we are praying three or so ago, the larder I know provided is actually donated 5 acres of land with five billings on that it never happens Nothing free in German.

Trust me, nothing free in June so that was a medical debt on other concern organizations and churches who wanted to take the property but did. I asked them why did you give it to us on the leader of the minister told me that help people to have the money but to have no vision. You have no money. You know people but you have the vision. That's a big everything amazing friends. This is a ministry you need to get behind tell you we come back how you can get directly involved sponsored children sponsored pastors on the front lines. It's amazing dollars will do to change lives and will be right back. It's the line of fire with your host activist and author, international speaker, Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution.

A light a fire now by calling 6643. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown thanks friends for joining us in 15866 here's the website to go to LNC ministries.org is in loving care L and C loving care ministries LNC ministries.org and when you're there you want to see how you can sponsor a child in the children's home these kids or or raised in the faith taught in the face. Some of them are orphans. Some of them have parents pastoring tribal regions and and still you can't reschedule your consistent with Acacian.

Sometimes, nutrition was still a factor there so they have the kids in your home where they can be raised with other godly children member just a few years ago when the kids got their first beds before they slept on the floor. They were the happiest, most content kids you can imagine, you can support a pastor on the front lines, and how much is that full-time support for pastor on the front lines in India $50 a month you can imagine friends sometimes you might go out with the failure family formula fast food you will be spending a halfway decent restaurant you spent more than that. Think of how freely we can spend that money that's full-time support for pastor's family planting churches and unreached areas and pastoring believes their market. The sponsor child, how much is $25 a month at an $25 a month. What is that provide for them food accommodations, healthcare and education right to hear that friends of mid-seventies like I can sponsor 10 a month.

This is a fairly presurgery change for your Outlook we sponsor child the mother so the go to LNC ministries.org and where they go to sponsor theirs sponsor a child sponsor pastor topic when you are a friend you. You may be a web designer and support I'd like to really help get this word out help with that right to them and perhaps your your gifts and talents can be use their as as well. An issue palm you were telling me that you have hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of kids go through the school or so they start every morning early morning in prayer and the word that they're trained by fine Christian teachers learn a great environment and get a fine education and three meals a day and and all this so growing up like the different than you did is an untouchable, almost starved to death as a boy but you had many many kids go through that summer. Pastors today just some of Boston's engineers, doctors on the some of the processes. Some of them out in the different nations working. It's amazing to see how that one out and what percentage of them fall women in the race to this environment in imagine a lot of them when they get older turn away from the face.

What about that in India you don't normally see that once they believe in the Lord that believed the rest of their lives. Yes. Regret is an amazing right so you've never you've never heard back from one kid that said no thanks for what you did but I've thrown this stuff out. Now we don't godly him.yeah and and amazing Lisa. Some of the kids that the my died on the streets or minor to stereotypical Hindu upbringing or something like that.

Instead I remember those three years ago there was a Muslim woman came to faith her husband put her out. She had two kids couldn't raise them herself, took them in the school.

So here the race and it godly environment. I hear the gospel and you know that years later want to be a doctor in American.

One of them is opossum seriously amazing of the wise apostle amazing source of friends, go to LNC ministries.org get involved help out and and I really believe that if you do this, smile on it. Really believe that that if you make a sacrificial effort to support people in India. In this way, and here's where it goes. I mean it's not like 90% disappears administrative because you know $25 a month $25 goes to help a kid full-time and indistinct moms and dads here in America.

What we might spend $25 off one of four children joyfully, happily glad to do it, as opposed to full room word education, healthcare in India for child it's going to grow up as as a a gospel service we come back. I want to talk about a face miracle financial miracle that happened in Germany and then some of the heavy new some of the sobering effect line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown want to talk about some of that is rising in India will talk about that in the moment when you supply the market. I had dinner on Saturday night just so short videos.

One particular instance of persecution. It was very very hard to watch very disturbing and of course in almost 25 years of going into their been different seasons where there is been a wave of persecution.

Things get very intense and things get better. Certain states, more extreme than others, but there are some real reasons for concern. I will talk about that in the moment but first up I want to encourage you again that the same God is capable of doing the same things were ever you are and that's one of the reasons that godly lung issue palm start to go to a country like Germany, one for the good of the German people for love for them and to demonstrate same God same gospel. So here get 5 acres of property given she was never building solid other people come with money they got the money that got the people, but no vision. You come with no money, no people, but with vision. They donated to you bring an army of volunteers to renovate some of the buildings into stuff that gathers how much would cost against him from us. Nothing is people throw themselves in German believers and the many fine people faith in Germany, but just gets it different is different world and and many of them stepping out believing now. So Monica use your testimony yesterday at at at fire the whole congregation about a financial provision again went over to my finances with our finances for the gospel finances for the gospel of the issue. Palm told me one of the number one plagues now in India is the prosperity gospel, you know, Jesus died to make you rich. We we renounce that that's over talk about, provision for the gospel. So what happened with this financial miracle in the little church okay well we are on our third part of our ministry there building that up and that's building a home for the homeless people. Those are getting saved in our ministry and want to be discipled be in community and grow in the Lord. We want to bring them to this dutiful property that we got three years ago tomorrow and so we started building last November. Totally by faith trusting the Lord to provide as we went to and we had nothing when we started just like everything we do with our ministry there. And as we do it God provides, so we started. And damn, then shortly after a team from Holland came in they helped put us put up the first floor in five days. They bill all the walls of the first floor than a team from South Africa came and built the second floor. So God sent volunteers all along the way and also German people helping us and really at them. Everything just done by trusting the Lord. So then we had to put the roof on the building and that we needed a contract there we couldn't do with volunteers and so we hired a contractor set the date they said 18,000 it would cost and we needed 4000 for the scaffolding which is euro compared to dollar right now believe it's 1.2 different of 1.3 got it so we hired a contractor. We had about five weeks and he was coming to weeks till he was coming and we only had 1000 in the bank and just praying Lord. We need your provision because we got a Pam right after they come and they would bring the big crane and put everything on for us and we would help as much as possible so two weeks before we went to a church we never been happy for when in, we knew the pastor. He took us to the front row and that we are just getting ready to sit down and this little old lady comes to us at this huge envelope and says this is 10,000 for your work.

Somebody gave it to me. They don't want you to know who they are. This is for your work so we we accepted it where starting in our ants in shock and then just right after that the pastor comes the two envelopes if they tie said somebody at the door again this to you for you and they don't. I don't know who they are and he walked away and into little ladies walked up with two big envelopes and gave it to us all. Within a few minutes you hadn't started talking about the project and the services we had not even sat down yet that the church is practically empty. Still okay and and how many people were there total for the service overall are a couple hundred. Finally okay once they all came and got our affiliates the Pam preach is to solicit before you got the people you reach before you okay are the five envelopes we went home. It took all day to get home finally got to count the money was 40,000 cash, hundred euro bills 50 bill in the crib.

That's how it seemed. I provided some miraculous ways. Every step of the way. Not always. With that much money, but just step-by-step. You know, providing an India issue palm when you first started, which was busy taking in children orphans and other children that that didn't have their feathers didn't have sustenance for the they were completely orphan and things like that your two little houses.

We first came here that was efface step that you took that job does want the rent and the houses of the heart building, but the Lord provided us everything that we needed amazing to see you know that when we talked about the Germany.doc American icon. The past event. I told him pastor.

Do you know how my doctor was on my knee is that I didn't know that and I told you how much was that he could believe in the court believe it. Dan, some of them start out that telling could be angels. I really like dad not his. She doesn't know them doesn't believe in one person behind it all just giving envelopes and liaison who, though that's amazing to just watch that happening manage (sudden shock, we are still in shock now up happens in Germany so much cash to select that remarkable, and again without soliciting it without saying a word and yesterday and in our in our servicer whole congregation. I told you the summary you did know with you tends to be and things like that some in the spirit move wonderfully.

You guys did a great job presenting everything and we surely need about this truck that you go into villages and dig wells. With this in the cost.

What 70 $80,000 50,000 thousand dollars. So you needed 15,000 down and they get a loan for the rest of it and maybe go to poor villages, dig wells and then bring the gospel message with adding yet 8000 down. You need 15,000 to get the loan did a test I needed 7000 adults. I'm in the last year we received an offering fuse for $3000 a night and we were also there was great that even the claimant is what a lot of people there. So what we find out yesterday personal services over gentlemen comes up to me I'd I didn't know who he was, hands me a piece of paper with his name from the recent whatever your short on that 7000 is want to get that extra 7000 with every short let me know and I'll make it up so we say what windows could be met when we found out ultimately came in.

It was $17,000 diet like this. The same kind of deal. Just like where they come from or who gave it you because we know a lot of our people and financial leaders were always praying for funds for school and things like that that this is God backing his work, and you folks is that of sacrificially live with your whole family. Sometimes in a little room in Germany, the money goes in the gospel will will eat when we live to care for others God, God really backs it in on a daily basis now in Germany in in an India having meals you responsible for the home base in one part basis we prepared 2000 millions now three basis like a children forms of different areas so at least 2000 meals a day a day in the India law and how much.

As you been doing that.

How much guaranteed support you have from the West and of the countries were, you know money is there some as regular check every month and it's it's always there. Honestly though promised checks every month accepted to try to snag it was like a three, $300 a month. Other than that we don't have a guaranteed monthly income coming into the ministry and how many days have the kids gone without food because the wrist there is nothing by God's grace, not even a single male day.

How three meals a day.

Plenty of forward, they can eat as much as they want only made on God has been so faithfully providing their friends come with me to India one year ago overfished the ministry and see it will impact you and here's what you'll think I'm go back home. Riley their people in the and see friends. This is not the way to get your ministry. Plus, this is not the way to bring it in great financial blessing. This is God's heart for hurting people for needy people for dying people from for most that most of us don't really care about is more exciting to deal with no other other people are not so needy. But here's were God's heart really beats, and as they've extended themselves they seen God smile and and when issue palm goes to start a new work.

These are the people he he looks for it because he cares. And that's the back remedy that he came from and you'll be amazed to see how God will smile on this and say hey I'm with you want to help again, L and C ministry start orgy loving care ministries sponsor a child there several children sponsor pastor on the front lines make a difference. I think if you never meet in this world when you meet in the world to come and exchange stories and they find out you were the ones that help them through the years how amazing it's going to be all right. We come back tomorrow take these final minutes you so worried about what is happening for gives the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown issue palm. We know that in the last couple of years there's been a shift in the government and strong Hindu leadership India primarily a Hindu nation but it has the third largest Muslim population in the world right behind Indonesia and Pakistan and it has a rapidly growing Christian population and the government wants you to be a Hindu nation this of these things publicly. There is now pressure talk about wanting to reconvert people so that especially the poor that become Christians turned back to Hinduism. Certain states laws were you can't convert people things like that so are on the ground. What is this actually look like and what are the concerns you have for us.

We can pray here in America and other countries that you need is a great country with the great people and constitutionally valid given the freedom we have a right to exercise on one religion to propagate. I would have been enjoying.in the middle of little persecution hit him dead in different states, but right now be really frail, like so much pressure on Christian community than ever before in the history of the nation of India and started realizing like no part 2000 years church has gone through lack of prosecution. I have broken had broken bone sundial.Guenther my hand on the butt, but right know what is happening is totally different than what we have ever experienced before. The present government. Everybody knows that I were out on the world and we have been feeling it that want to make India as a Hindu nation, and I would not believe that's going to happen, but because the government is back and get local small groups off very little percentage of the strontium new groups are coming up again as the church on breaking destroying the churches we went recently into one of the pastors of Gujarat, was shot dead under that other pastors who has been the current it's been a very clear clear clear that the enemy really wants to bring Frio in the hearts of the Christians and trying to come make gayness to even adopt the compassion international made this dish on how to shut down an organization to have been helping 127,000 children in all this is your son are so many children are being fired and taken care of so God makes a very clear sign that government wants to and want to be.so I might we really believe that we need Dr. Chris community around the world not to stand with us praying for us, supporting us and we know that God can take it off us. We are not afraid to follow.

Life's we are willing to lay down our lives as I will Christ, who is our Savior and has laid down his life.

We are not afraid of our lives, but there's no reason for the government to do that on the consistent set out in the India.

I really taking us time for this leadership.

We, as a leader is really frail. I will responsibility some people asked me how they can pray for those I want to do. Remember days I was reminded that acts chapter 41. Turn on the positives were going to the prosecution, the church prayed for two things that God would do us more or less in the middle of the prosecution ducked when it was turned on proclaim this glorious gospel. More than ever before, that this gospel will go forward with the power and authority limited to the point.ruling government politicians are intellectuals of the water in Wildwood that will understand the polygraph gospel is a more powerful than any other thing that exists on the surface of the guard changed the government's God change of the Prime Minister and Presidents on the Kings in the history but gospel has never been stopped. God warned me last year Dr. through acts chapter 1 there will be a heavy prosecution in the nations of the world as a highroad came up against the church. He killed James Hubert you put Peter into prison to betrayal. But God took at off. The church prayed the church prayed God World Cup his people under Herod was a big mood, but the ward off guard vent out powerfully that's what I'm expecting in India to happen. Dr. no power, but are not gonna come again as the gospel of the living God we Christians in India what commented to pitch this gospel and walked over to it because what Kelly takes what I want our brothers and sisters around the world to pray for us that were little bit better to preach this gospel to the lost breath of our lives. And that's what I see what's going to happen in India a retrospect of what the government wants to do, but we would choose us will prevail for the gospel of Jesus Christ and Monica when you hear your husband, father, if your kids talk publicly and not afraid to die for the gospel. You knew what you were marrying into to see that same spirit that same courage in the hearts and lives of others in India as well. Yes, absolutely. They know when they're saved from the moment they're safe. They start going through opposition and persecution and that even when I was a young believer in growing in the Lord, the Lord asked that of me.

Are you willing to lay down your life, you know, and when I went to Indiana married from the beginning AC Pam is always saying that could be any time I'm willing to lay down my life for the Lord God kept him all these years kites really protected our ministry in supernatural ways. Although we've had so many threats and so much opposition goddess kept us but if it's time you know if he wants to do that to analyze where where willing for that and every every believer I know in India, even the small children will give testimony and say I am. I want to be a martyr for Jesus. So Christians in India are willing and ready to lay down their lives for the Lord president that is the gospel. It is the heart of the gospel in acts 12 James Jacobs killed peters rescued, but the church goes on strengthening in the midst of so pray for the government of India, the dog would turn their hearts to do what is right and best. There are many fine people in India that that love religious liberty, and love the Christians there pray for their voices to be heard but above all pray for the believers there to be bold. Pray for the believers are to be fearless, the lack with wisdom. They are not trying to start trouble but they will not back down from preaching the gospel, even under persecution and pressure friends go to L and C ministries.org get behind this work. This is real gospel friends.

This is why we go to India and when I go out I don't proselytize. I go there to to be with the brothers and sisters and to serve the ministry there to participate in graduation and things like that but we get to be side-by-side and we see the spirit. The dedication and that's why monitor to call your support and Monica dear friends friends for life for life by death gospel. Amen. What. Let's take a careful look at some Bible translations today will start with the strengths and weaknesses of the King James version for the line of fire with your host activist and author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown your voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution Michael Brown is the director of the coalition of conscience and president of fire school of ministry get into the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown. Yes, there's a lot a lot happening in the news and around us and a lot that we could talking about but today we are going to start a series we may do this another day this week we may do it next week, next month don't know exactly when, but I am going to look at different versions of the Bible. Popular versions of the Bible and give you a talk about strengths and weaknesses in these different translations and will take your calls we get calls about this so much with so let's put out some quality shows that focus even more on specific versions and things like that so we can start today with King James and if you have a question about the King James comment about strength or weakness will be taken some calls as well. 866-3148 7884 is number to call before we get into that, though, here's a story. It's my latest article to DNA discoveries prove that the Bible is wrong in reality the new DNA discoveries confirm the biblical narrative. But here's what happened. There were scientists, a team of scientists who studied bones of those who lived in what is today Lebanon thousands of years ago. At the time that the Bible talks about the Canaanites inhabiting the land of Israel and found that these people had that the bones the same DNA versus 90% of the population of Lebanon and these people are saying that all the science journals will in time. The New York Times and others will. This proves the Bible is wrong because the Bible says the Israelites drove out the Canaanites, the Israelites vanquish the Canaanites. Here are some of the headline study disproves the Bible suggestion that the ancient Canaanites were wiped out Bible says Canaanites were wiped out the Israelites by scientist just found their descendents living in Lebanon Bronze Age DNA discoveries the Bible claim.

The Canaanites were wiped out, study says their genes live on in modern-day Lebanese people.

Scientists find evidence that ancient cannot survive today was the Bible wrong new DNA study cast doubt on Bible claim the Bible was wrong civilization God ordered to be killed still alive and kicking and on and on and on. One example after another. Okay so in, in point of fact, the opposite is true.

When you read the biblical accounts and I get into it in my article, you'll see first in Joshua. The 13th chapter that says what when Joshua was was all well advanced in years that they still had not taken much of the promised land Joshua 13 one that Josh was old and advanced in years, and the Lord said to him your old and advanced in years, and the remains yet very much land to possess to transcendent Josh was life.

Joshua led the conquest of Canaan.

Israel had not completed its mission by far not normally so it tells us in verses five and six in Joshua 13 that the places that they had not yet taken included all Lebanon all right all Lebanon so it says they did not conquer Lebanon and drive out the Canaanites there then judges. The third chapter, verses one through six.

It is another listing their right judges one tells us that they didn't drive out the inhabitants of side which is one of the major cities in Lebanon see Dawn and then it tells us in Judges 3136 that they didn't drive out all the Canaanites of Sedona into the headlights who lived on Mount Lebanon all right so the people of Israel lived among the Canaanites, etc. so this confirms the new discoveries confirm exactly what the Bible says we come back. Strengths and weaknesses contain staging file line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get into the minor fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown. So let's the Scriptures. Let's look at the word of God together and let's do some analysis.

Let's look at the most famous English Bible translation of all the King James version. Let's consider some of the strengths of the King James and some of the weaknesses of the King James. If you have a question you'd like to raise specifically about it. Give me call 866-34-TRUTH 866-34-TRUTH 7884. The plan is in weeks to come to take another day to look at another major translation in another day to look at different one so that we can do this a bit more in depth because we get asked lots of questions about this very subject now want to play something for you. Grab clip number three this with pastor Stephen Anderson has to say, a well-known proponent of be called King James only, or that the King James version is the version to use in English and other contemporary versions are not just bad but not to be used at all. Let's listen to what she had to say. There's an agenda today and it's a satanic agenda to change the Bible. A lot of people just think well the King James Bible is a great translation. It is very poetic and these other versions are inferior.

Maybe they're not as well translated, but I'm here to tell you it goes much deeper than that. These new versions are actually Saint Anne's attempt at corrupting the word of God now is is he correct I I've been involved in different translation work. I've been involved in a couple different translations.

Roy gave input one more than others. The people that I know involved with. These are God-fearing people, people who love the Lord who loves the world to reference the word to take the word seriously were trained in the original languages who have the highest esteem for Scripture. I can tell you for fact that Satan had nothing to do with any of those translations that I was involved with, but is there a satanic attack against the King James, is there something in the modern translations that is is so bad that it should be avoided like Satan himself was behind it. Let's first talk about some of the strengths of the King James version of the Bible.

It was the primary version used among English-speaking people for hundreds of years.

That in itself is major that in itself is an accomplishment that in itself is a testimony to the care with which the translation was done. That's number one or two for me personally I get saved reading the King James Bible rated through cover to cover the Bible without special notes or commentary site that cover to cover about five times in the first two years that I was a believer in a memorized verses at the King James. To this day I can still quote verses that I memorized from the King James in those early days ice to memorized 20 versus dad did that for six straight months is a fairly new believer when I received about a year to year and 1/2 and so by the time I was 18 years old and started preaching. I'd memorized over 4000 verses from the King James Bible and a great appreciation for it. On a personal level so I'm not a King James version basher all right and number #3 there are beautiful literary qualities to the King James Bible that even atheists like Richard Dawkins acknowledges in terms of impact on the English language so there is something powerful is been used in the King James Bible. By the way that the German translation done by Martin Luther had a great impact on the German language as well and in a way that is similar to the impact of the King James on the English language so I have great appreciation for the King James number for the normal argument that that arises about New Testament Greek manuscripts whether the Byzantine or Alexandrian texts should be used whether the so-called majority text, which then must be on the Texas receptors with her that versus the older texts which are superior for New Testament. I'm not even going to debate that other words, if you are convinced that the Greek manuscripts for the Greek New Testament that lie behind the King James version that you were convinced by your own study that those are superior that I would say will then find you something like the new King James or the MEP. The modern English version, which are in the same spirit as the King James and use the same ancient Greek tax that the King James King confuses by all means, then use something like that. You convinced that the older texts or are better which would relate to the Alexandrian texts and you feel discredits use of the like.

The ESV or some other to the NASB or the. The NIV of the HCS B or the NET. That's a whole is great we won't even debate that part okay want to beat the strengths or weaknesses of the Greek manuscripts.

Let's just talk about some of the challenges some of the weaknesses that are found in the King James Bible and let me say this is a fine translation but it is far from a perfect translation in small ways and big ways. One of the biggest issues as this, even if it was a perfect translation. The English language has changed dramatically in these hundreds of years. In fact, you are not reading. If you have a King James Bible online or in your home and your reading it, you're not reading the original King James, though it was translated 611.

The spelling is very different. All right, a lot of it is is English. That would be even harder to recognize. See you are reading. Normally a revision of the King James one of several that was done over the centuries, but even so, the English language has changed dramatically. So what may have been an accurate translation then will not convey the same thing today.

So even if it was translated perfectly well.

Just the change in the English language will bring about some level of confusion give you just one example of this. Let's say for example you were reading the offerings that were required under the law in the Old Testament and you read about meat offerings meat offerings. Okay, it's a little peculiar because it's actually meal offerings, grain offerings, not meet, but grain well why did the King James translators say meat did they get it wrong obviously think it wrong. They knew the Hebrew said, but meet just had a wider meaning of food and hence included in that was grain offerings, but it's it is not the right translation the right translation would been meal offerings or grant offerings at what follows elucidates its rights of the King James translation with a were doing, but with the word meant. Then, is not with the word means today. So why have a Bible, where where the word meant. In those days is not what the word means today because you reading it today. Remember the King James Bible, which built large in the Geneva Bible beef before that. And then there previous transfers at the Tyndale Bible that were leaned on but but let's let's remember this that the purpose of the translation was not to put the Scriptures in magisterial old English, but to put the Scriptures in the language of the people. All right, it was not an attempt to take language that was every day common speech. For example, the Greek New Testament is written what's called coin a Greek which is basically the every day Greek that was used, all right. And when the translators of the Hebrew Scriptures were transiting those your Proverbs is just proper verbal sayings of incident history, just history being written with these books were not written it in a high Hebrew that was this lofty magisterial language that was difficult to understand but language that people can understand and even more so with the Greek New Testament. So if that was God's intent behind the Scriptures put them in a language that the people of that day could understand that that's what we want to do that which you might be responsible for translation today. That's the finest translation available but let's just say our society went on a 200 years in the English language continue to change and change dramatically than words that had one meeting today would have a different meaning. Tomorrow, so even if the King James translators translated correctly. The fact of the matter is meet mean something very different. Why have your translation saying something different then the word is intended to mean today I give you another example famous verse study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need is not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Now, in King James English the word study met.

Do your best.

Try your hardest strive that's what it meant did not mean study in terms of pick up a book and read. That's why Paul wrote to the Thessalonians. Instead, study to be quiet. He didn't read a book about secrets to quietness or tips to quietness study to be quiet means your best to be quiet learning person listening person right but that's not what study means to us today so we read the verse you think Paul is saying study the Bible to be proved to God. Is he wants us to send later in the verse refers to rightly handling the word. It's daddy is not day what it meant.

James translators translated why use antiquated English. Her plan by the Expo line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown your voice and more cultural and spiritual revolution.

Here again is Dr. Michael Brown transferred us groundwater evaluating Bible versions and thoughtful will start grandest English translation all the King James version too much strengths and weaknesses. When I was writing my commentary the book of Jeremiah. Initially, the plan was to have the NIV and the NASB is the two texts that would be on every page and ended up just with the. The NIV, but I often would take issue with the trip now differ with that. No, I wouldn't snow it got that wrong and that's just the reality of dealing with the text and looking at a carefully having different viewpoints. Many times the preaching of the NIV over the years I thought I like the way this preach is but it's got to be corrected.

It's it's it's flows nice in English but missed something in in Greek or in Hebrew and and then sometimes improvements were made with new editions and sometimes I think things are going backwards. So every translation I talk about our strengths and weaknesses, but let let's just understand the King James is not a perfect translation.

All right the Bible is perfect. The King James is not a perfect translation.

How about acts chapter 12. For example, I just want to give you some examples for those who think it's perfectly accurate and again. Other translations will talk about what will address issues will address weaknesses all right, but I was a plainly if you if you love the King James tradition you love the Greek manuscripts in which the New Testament is based in the King James version, think those are the most accurate will then use the new King James use the modern English version the MPV or other modern improvements of the King James, but let's take an example. Acts chapter 12 it mentions Easter.

The Greek does not see Easter recess. The Passover and in virtually every translation you'll find outside of the King James says the Passover. There is a such thing as Easter during the time of the book of acts to say. Easter is 100% inaccurate and misleading.

It's a mistake in every other time that the Greek words there for Passover occur in the New Testament translated Passover, not Easter. That's a mistake is a corrected new King James any MEP. Of course it is the corrected. No other English translation since it got to my knowledge, of course, is wrong. It's it's in our why they didn't with the purpose was cancer every different accounts about that, but the generic principal or giving other example for those of you think that the King James is always hyper literal words that that every every word can be translated the same way different context so Luke chapter 9 verse one then I'm reading can James and he called his 12 disciples together and gave them power excrete the mess and authority. Greek ecstasy gave them power and authority over all devils and secure diseases. Now were devils there is is the wrong word should be demons, not devils.

There demons.

The Greek word for devil is the boss. Okay, the Greek word for demon comes. That's where we get demon from all right it other words it's related to demon.

All right, so you're talking you got them a devils devils would've been different in Greek you're talking about demons. All right, so better to translate that accurately. But let's put devils demons aside for the moment right.

Luke 91. Jesus gives his disciples how war dinner mess and authority ecstasy.

Overall, devils, and to cure diseases.

Now we go to chapter 10 chapter 10 and verse 19. And here's what we have. The King James, behold, I give unto you power hang on. That's the Greek word X to see her. That's the Greek word authority house and you can James authority house and all other English versions a look at authority with the same author. Luke similar context would not Luke 10 so ecstasy was rightly translated as authority.

Just a few verses earlier. Now power just gets worse.

Behold, I gives you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy the same English word power. Power accepts two different words in Greek Greek ecstasy authority in Greek GMS power to the changing table exactly right in Luke nine what is all of the translations were Jesus gave them power and authority which are related but different fury gives them authority, ecstasy, overall the power during a mess of the devil in the King James translates with power.

Power that's wrong that is not an accurate translation of the Greek and especially it's misleading if you're reading the English and you don't know that Luke nine which is authority is the same word as the temperance is power and in the same verse power. Power two different words in Greek. It's just a mistake why that can be debated, but simply a mistake to let let's go to the phones that I want to explain this little bit further to you. 866-34-TRUTH was go to Charles in Virginia. Welcome Sir to the line of fire barrier doing well thank you and argue with you there if you wake me out.

One quick comment on what you please.

Okay arm. Erica mom with you with other people believe that it's really, slippery slope.

The Arabic event on when they study they every single word is translated in any nuance drinker, why you can error. I think that that's a big mistake, and in a similar way, I would say maybe 400 years ago when I translated again. Jane, there were little bit and they walked away when writing with the interpretation or the translation either power and authority usually give that you know the possibility of being in error, like 95 nuance on here just here's the problem.

Here's the problem. Certainly the transit is had reasons for what the did we can get into their heads in every case. Sometimes we we know why they did what they did but in point of fact, because they the two words are different words in Greek.

Okay, it is not ambiguous thing authority is one thing, power is this another thing because they got it exactly right.

Just a few worse verses earlier. Where has the two side-by-side now has the two side-by-side again.

There's no good reason for so it's it's it's just wrong, but the look when I say mistake the NIV makes many mistakes in my view that the NASB makes mistakes. The ESB makes mistakes. Their judgment calls within certain things aren't judgment calls and the next time around.

You fix it so I would feel confident that if you had the team of King James scholars and they were they were still working out you note 20 years later came together again or 50 years later Italy had another team that these are kind of things they fix up. They get rid of Easter in acts 12. They get rid of of power here in Luke 1019 change right now to authority lower earlier Aramark the euro. The development of English language in word I worked straight over, there are lots work very yet.

Arm pioneered a very quick reply when you start paying it in error when coming up. We would use the word authority in our conversation, they were majority of the time that I may learn everything about that.

He is just such a mission assurance that any gains and I appreciate your spirit in licensor number one God put you was there for a reason for sending different things visible one in the which you can James have exactly right. Previous chapter, so if you're just reading English how no those are two different words so that that is a mistake would just be honest with hate. Thank you sir for the call. It's the line of fire with your host activist, author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution get into the line of fire now by calling 6643 here again is Dr. Michael Brown special Brown welcome to the show focusing on what's happening in surround this particular general questions on Bible theology or Israel. Rather, focusing on the translations of the Bible, focusing on the question of evaluating translations and over the weeks ahead. God willing different days. I'll pick different translations and if you have specific questions or comments on that translation.

Today we focus on the grandest translation of all English the King James version you have specific questions or comments are different with the point I'm making on that committee call 866-34-TRUTH 87884 sold to briefly summarize the strengths of the King James version. It has been the leading primary version in English for centuries.

That's great strength that helped shape English language and culture that's a great shape great strength a great virtue.

It is a magisterial translation and powerful in many ways, but it is not a perfect translation. We now have more manuscript evidence.

For example, the Dead Sea Scrolls discovered in 1940s the King James translators didn't have. We have further knowledge of the Greek and Hebrew language than they had. These are blessings that God has given to us. That certainly is positive, the English language has changed since the King James language wanted to be a Bible in the language of the people we should continue in that spirit, and have translations that are in the language of the people today, and although many think of the King James being extremely accurate word for word or or consistently translating the same word the same way, the same context often that doesn't happen and there are some words in the King James that do not exist in the original Bible. First John 57 being the most notable. It says there are three that bear witness in heaven. The father were the Holy Ghost. These three are one.

Do I believe in God's tri-unity yes to. I believe in the father. The word the Holy Spirit yes the first John 57 is not found in ancient Greek manuscripts. It is not found in the ancient Aramaic translation of the Greek the sheet to it is simply a later addition.

In fact, we know pretty well the history of how and when it got added in two Greek manuscripts and this is almost 1500 years after the fact. Okay you're talking about something that's just not part of the original Bible so these are some of the reasons that I say that if you love the King James, it's best to use a water adaptation a modern translation be the new King James or the MEP. The modern English version of the some other updates as the King James like any other translation has errors in it there and let me just give an example. I give an example butchered soft in the 10 Commandments that he would slow to itself within me.

You shall not murder right, there's a different word for kill and Hebrew murder is something very specific. For example, you can't murder an animal you can only murder human you kill an animal but can't murder an animal in war if you're fighting in war you can kill the enemy. You don't murder the enemy because it's more God is not murder people he puts them to death.

He kills because murder is the wrongful taking of a human life you not talk about execution for the death penalty are not talking about a battle where some of us try to kill you in war and you take out the enemy that's called murder right so God specifically said, you shall not murder. King James famously translated without shall not kill any of 100 will come to go to battle. Can we kill Isis Terrace if they're trying to kill Lawson what's right or wrong, it will if it was translated rightly shall not murder unless ambiguity civil King James translators distinguish between murder and killing in other verses, they did reverse they got exactly right that something should've been murder from day one will drink the light a fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get into the line of fire now by calling 86. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown solicit once I live the King James version of the memorize 4000 verses of the King James I virtuoso believer read through it cover to cover 51st couple of years in the Lord have great appreciation for the King James but it's not a perfect translation and those who claim that all modern translations or demonic or that it's it's Satan behind them or if you can find a contradiction between the Hebrew in the Greek and the King James.

That means there's an error in the Hebrew and Greek and efforts of extremists actually say this that's that's it's bogus.

That's just ridiculous.

Give me couple examples of Multics and calls 866-34-TRUTH something something is as minor as say to Tosca loss in Luke 647 40 do not discuss cost means teacher not master different word for master and and sometimes Jesus will be referred to as master in the New Testament and and you have, for example, Luke five is a master word in Greek or just the common curiosity board right closely master to DOS because his teacher. It should be translated master is just the simple little thing but it's simple. Or how about this cherub is a particular type of of intricate roof and Hebrew, a cherub is a particular type of of Angel and in in the plural.

It's with IM Hebrew plural. You and I am in most cases if it's masking.

I am so that would be cherub is one cherubim is plural right to cherub is an individual angelic being cherubim or plural.

How was it in the in the King James cherubim's it's it's a false plural be like saying brethren's is just as in English error.

It's is wrong is a big deal, it just described. I give you.

Example effects or the unicorn right particular type of animal wrongly referred to as the unicorn. As if the Bible is speaking of a every one horned animal you say will know if you go back unicorn be okay.

But today, what is unicorn mean it. As we understand it all right what is it mean today. Therefore we shouldn't use of that could be misleading because were jealous for God's word are like I give you one more example that I go to phones one more example okay you're here another mile in first Kings 18 Elijah prays and the King James says he prays for me to hear me Nono the Hebrews answer me answer you see that's close but who cares. I close thereto different words in Hebrew and in English and answer me is even stronger than hear me, why is translation that has these are it look these are just examples know again when we get into other versions on other days when we get to that next I'll have lots of issues with lots of specific versus argument example when I was working on my Jeremiah commentary and and had the.

The NIV in front of me every every day.

I actually found one place in July 2 were just a hole for Hebrew phrase was left out just as an accident that the translator misted and the team missed it thus says the Lord. Yet that's left out. They fixed it in, and an updated version visits is left out. Think how could that happen with all the oversight the back of the proofreading still happen.

These things do happen so okay what one more example than than the phones.

Psalm 84, one of the verses that I grew up loving was blessed be the Lord our God daily load with us with benefits in the King James who daily lotus us with benefits or sterling Hebrew and and I had a Jewish translation from the vessel pleaded rate that's that's on their that's out there in the Hebrew something something's funny so law I went and checked in the Hebrew is literally day by day he bears for us or he carries for us and some translation so that means he carries are birds and it's the most likely what it means will somehow the King James took it that read and carry that he's loading us and is loading us what is he lotus with benefits. That's all italics cassettes in the daily lotus us with benefits that the with benefits part is this not there just added answer. Let's italics telling us that the reason he rebutted it got it wrong and being, traumatized his to me.

I mean I'm I memorized the exact gravity exact punctuation exactly was the way it was in the King James.

That's no different than that. I thought some was wrong and was traumatizing.

Finally, this is not exactly says it, I went to the past and I shot I'm troubled by this. I'm troubled and and it it's it seems that it's different with the Hebrew says and he said to me, but Mike if God carries her burdens is that loading us with benefits, I appreciate that, but that's not what the text says that's my issue 866-34-TRUTH and we will go to the phones will start in Tennessee. Charles welcome to light a fire barrier and model our software, you never quit glad you got. Called Automator quick armor, you're not actually we didn't get Not sure with Alan Clark, Louisiana, maybe one number along oral, work on really interact among fertile and being there rather than just focus on translational the bigger issue directly to exploit you and when you get avoided like a modern versions are or not you have marked dictating our eating bracket. Remove and relative effect on information underlined it. There were 1700 manuscript for only two or three did not have it in some of the ones that didn't have a couple actually showed you know that they knew that the evening should be there and willfully omitted Ptolemy Marquis will be there when were taught about Bible translation version. Understanding that you can go from Greek and Hebrew perfectly over to the English leadership. When you're picking up version would you recommend University [or negate the entire ending of an awful bicycling removed the resurrection account yet will start first thing is if you feel that way about manuscripts that lead the new King James or the modern English version the MAV because they use the same manuscripts. That's number one number two.

We know that that was not the original ending of Mark. The vocabulary is totally different very different than the rest of the black act is very awkward correctly. We read a book about Aragon. I realize it's a shame it is for notes of famous defense.

I rejected okay. The gas majority of software for your well I don't have their entertainment chart. Charles trust cannot talk your okay it's been refuted many times over many many times over, just picking on, etc. everyone on Twitter Charles.

Charles took two to limit we talk and maybe I can help. Help your number one it's been refuted many times on who you are on twitter I can't reply to everyone towards the story of a live radio show's affliction: but just the study Donna Carson's book on the can cancel the controversy or James White's book on can cancel you Donald Carson or James Whitesell help either. But the Greek vocabulary is different from the rest of Mark's gospel is supposed to verses nine through 20 and this should grammatical shift which does not work from verse 8 to 9. We don't have the original ending of Mark's gospel but I believe that Mark 969 through 20 or in early account that was put as the ending of Mark's gospel that was widely received by the church and I personally am happy to use all right, so there is a debate among scholars among it burdens the birds been refuted numerous times people system refuted again.

They just don't accept the evidence on it or just get any good Greek commentary on the Gospel of Mark, and in-depth degree, turn the gospel of Mark and Kendall get into the details.

There, but I'm perfectly happy to have it bracketed with the background and the fact is, these translators Charles are not denying they're not denying with the Old Testament excision of the resurrection accounts not doing that at all. It should concern you that first John 57 is not there, that should concern you that that that that's not there in the Greek and that's part of the King James, and it's not there it that's in addition, someone added to the Bible that you concern you as well. But again, if you are most at home with those manuscripts I said earlier, the broadcast I will be debating that part, then by all means use the link new King James or the modern English version and what retirement issues that matter.

I'm giving specific examples for those who think it's perfectly inspired all right and I will get to some of the calls as well, but it in. In point of fact, I could give you other major examples give you one.

For example, in a moment from a second second Corinthians 12 that changes the feel and makes Paul say something he wasn't saying up to that point again to kill instead of murder. That's a big issue for for the 10 Commandments I think we want to get that accurate. So let's look at it like this for the manuscript to beta so I don't want translation that is contemporary line from school today has benefited the great discoveries God has provided for us since the King James that help us understand better and better manuscript evidence and should we correct errors when we have the opportunity with about God's word. After all, the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown, Sam James made a switch is using the same word consistently which Paul was using over and over and over in Greek week weakness weaknesses week weakness weaknesses in first Corinthians and second Corinthians in the King James was rightly translated with weak weakness. Weaknesses time and time again one time after another after another and in this is the whole point that Paul is making. That's what he's using the same words in Greek to get second Corinthians chapter 12 and he says in verse seven, lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure for this thing I besought the Lord thrice that it might depart from me and he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for the for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

All right weakness correct that's that's correct word. It's the word that's been used over and over and over again. First and second Corinthians week weakness weaknesses. My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. That same word weakness should be translated weaknesses. I will glory in my weaknesses. The power of Christ may rest upon the King James changes from weakness to infirmity know when you hear infirmity.

What you think sickness is not necessarily talking about sickness. In fact, I'm 99% sure by the context is not talking about sickness at all. Whitesell so what we have that we have the same Greek words or word clusters translated differently in the same verse to give a misleading impression because he's been talking about weakness, weaknesses, time and time again in verse after verse after verse before that verse 10 therefore I take pleasure in infirmities and reproaches necessities and persecutions, and stressed Christ safe when I'm weak that I'm strong truancy infirmities, it should say weaknesses as always you think Paul say I glory in being sick all the time was that was on this point with respect or not that was not his point. His point was the weakness of persecution. The weakness of the stress. The weakness of being under Satanic attack. He glories in the midst of that because when he's weak. Then a strong again just an example of something that should've been translated differently in could have been translated differently in other contexts. Weakness could have the nuance of infirmity and hence should be translated as such.

But not here. Not here to change you.

Here is to change Paul's meaning, 86634 let's go to killing Texas bro. Joe welcome to the line of fire and good. I did you just faded out wherever you are. You're not there anymore, you're now you are. Go ahead, wondering your mind and become it a pose a question about it that okay well if were to believe that the only aspire word of God report for the original manuscript. What about European what about Bible review that you what they have in their hand. We believe that people running around original copy Bible. They had they had the maturity question would be, they had copies of copies in the original. So in other words, if you are reading it in the I got no issue with the King James being a translation that is blessed many, but is not the translation of the perfect translation so we have manuscripts that differ. We have tens of thousands of manuscripts in different languages of the of the Old Testament of the New Testament and then we had more, but discoveries yeah point would be Walker.

You're my God. Jesus called back copy Scripture that would not be given by God. Melissa got to do with the King James Baldwin pointed that not only your original bay are the only weather that would apply to any translation then that with what were still saying it Scripture just of the King James is any perfect translation. And when I can read Hebrew and Greek can see is that a perfect translation. But you consider that any other translation so the NIV or the ESV or the TLV or the MAV that they're all inspired the same way that white why make the King James unique and special. Question the correct figure they were crying out copy all Scripture are inspired by God now regularly inspired air there is error in translation of the Scriptures, the King James is a translation there is error in translation. Where does the Bible say every translation is perfectly inspired doesn't the original writings are perfectly inspired.

They haven't always been perfectly capped, but the original writings were perfectly inspired. That's what we sift through all the different manuscripts to do our best to see that which is original but the King James is a translation one among many, many, many foreign language translations be at Aramaic be at Latin BDC optic beaded German be a Chinese there many many translations. The King James is one of many and it's one of many English translations and and there's some things that Tyndale got right.

For example, translating Eckley seal with congregation rather than church that the King James change the church that was an error, even from old English translations but nothing says the translations are inspired to try to get one more call 866-34-TRUTH let's go to Steve and tonic in Connecticut.

Welcome to the line of fire ran out great and quick concern. Oftentimes when I hear the textual and translational issues debated up so much emphasis being placed on intellectualism and scholarship.

When that wasn't really what the Lord Jesus proposed would word how we would know what his words were.

I mean, you know the Holy Spirit was Jennifer Knapp's remembrance himself. I just wonder what the lease scholars that the common person is now required to trust in you know what, how do we know that their country immediately do the fruit. My sunny right so how do we tightly test the King James scholars right where I yeah yeah so since a number one in all essentials all essentials of the face if you read through the entire Bible and look at as a whole.

All essentials of the faith.

All of the major translations agree.

We all agree on the fundamentals of the faith as supported by Scripture.

That's number one number two common sense just tells you to read something that's in your own language that was, not to read something where the English is changed and you don't know the meaning of the English roots obscure because the Bible is written in the language of the people so common sense would tell you read something in the language of the people, but don't worry about it because the discrepancies and differences over all you look at the testimony Scriptures all end up being very, very minor.

So that's why we have the great benefit of whatever your favorite translation is just get along, go to Bible Gateway.com and compared to 10, 15, 20 of the translations. If you see they all go one way in your favor because another was out. That's probably the most accurate reading there but either way if you believe it's written in the King James or the new King James for the ESV NIV believe the same gospel. So feel secure in that and that's a great point secure that the translations we have and work closely with
