Well, last night, because it's Friday, we had Thursday night football. Congratulations to the New York Giants. It looks like they got their quarterback, huh?
Well, we see it looks like they got a running back, too. Jackson, Dart, Scatterboo, go out there and beat the Eagles, who uh. At this point the eagles may need to sit down. And have another meeting.
Okay, we'll get into the Eagles in a second. Speaking of Philadelphia, Okay. The Phillies are done. Phillies are done. The Dodgers have moved on.
To the National League Championship Series, okay? I mean, speaking of baseball, we got some baseball tonight, and in about two hours, we got a game five between the Detroit Tigers. And the Seattle Mariners. Mariners haven't been to an ALCS since like two thousand one, I think they're due. And we have some guests who are going to come through and join as well.
How about this? Lindsey Rhodes is going to join us to talk some football next hour from Sumer Sports. And in a couple of hours, Yeah, we're gonna dive a little bit deeper. Into the Eagles.
Okay, we got John McMullen joining us. from Sports Illustrated. We'll get his thoughts on what took place last night. LeBron James has a pain in the ass. Literally?
his leg, his back. Sciatica. Yeah, he's forty years old. What do you expect? Ain't nobody want that nerve pain.
And we'll get into LeBron James. Uh speaking of basketball, unfortunately Sister Jean from Loyola. passed away at a hundred and six years old. Got some big college football games tomorrow. We'll see if Matir is gonna play.
What is Manning going to look like? and we got poor Pierce falling asleep on the highway Suspicion of a DUI. We got One of Jokic's brother This guy is uh well, I'll fill you in. He punched a fan in the stands and now he's being punished for it.
So we got a lot going on. All the football over the weekend. Got the baseball going on as we gettin' closer and closer. to the World Series, and then we even got some good news, I guess, for once. When it comes down to Shadora Sanders.
And so I'll give you that news in a little bit. You can always be a part of the show. You can call up at 888-710-4ISN. That's 888-710-4ISSN. 4-I-S-N.

Ask the speaker to play. the Infiniti Sports Network. Hey, bacha, it's a busy weekend. We got a lot of ball going on, people throwing balls and kicking them and hitting them and And shooting balls too.
So, how are you feeling? You good? I'm great, actually. I don't know why, but I'm very excited for the weekend.
Well, that's well, I would I hope you're excited every day. That'd be a good thing. I'm excited. Not every day, it's just like more importantly this weekend. I don't know why, the sports calendar.
It's been been cooking.
Well, the sports calendar is certainly cooking. Let's let's get this out, boys. Speaking of cooking, The New York Giants are cooking. How about these New York Giants? They pick up another victory.
They pick up a victory against uh a a rival in the NFC East. The New York Giants beat the reigning Super Bowl champions last night. The New York Giants knock off the Eagles thirty four to seventeen.
Now I sat here, and I've said this all week long. The Eagles, with all these conversations about A.J. Brown, is he getting enough touches? Is he getting the ball? We got the defending champions.
That have now lost two consecutive games just in a matter of days.
Okay, we saw what took place against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, and then you flip the script, and then just a couple of days later, Sunday, a loss, Thursday, a loss. All of a sudden, these Philadelphia Eagles. Are 4-2.
Now, of course, it's a long season. Let's not all just be quick to bury the Eagles. But some of the issues that have existed in the past When they haven't won or haven't been winning, in most cases, revolve around A.J. Brown. God bless them, they won the championship last year and nobody cared.
But since this guy's been here, It's been a matter of When am I getting a football? Are all we going to do is run the ball? Are we going to throw the ball?
Well, damn it, they threw the ball too damn much against Denver and they lost. And last night it still appears that they're trying to figure out who and what they want to be Offensively. And the defense as well. You got Quinyon Mitchell, who's busted up. You got Jalen Carter, who wasn't out there playing yesterday.
That certainly has an effect on the defense, but 17 points? The Philadelphia Eagles are are known for Punching people in the mouth. They're known for pushing the football. Jalen Hurts had a rushing touchdown yesterday. He threw for a touchdown.
He threw an interception that set up another giant score. And these are the numbers that people look at. What did Saquon do? And in turn, what happened with AJ Brown? Saquon against his former team.
Twelve carries. Fifty-eight yards. No score, okay? A.J. Brown.
six receptions. He was targeted nine times. for eighty yards. Dallas Goddard had the uh only receiving touchdown. For anybody catching the ball for Philadelphia.
And so they're still trying to figure things out. And then after the game. Oh, you can bet they're they're going to have More meetings. You know, even though A.J. Brown, after the game last night, he said, There was no meeting.
With Jalen Hurts and Saquon and myself. Listen to A.J. Brown. What was behind that? I don't call a me.
Oh, okay. The meeting never happened. Those guys said it happened.
Okay, you talked to him. You weren't in the meeting? I don't recall. Or you want to go?
Well He doesn't want to talk about anything. Obviously there was a meeting. He doesn't want to talk about it. and you think about the Philadelphia Eagles. They do have a new offensive coordinator here in Kevin Petulo.
And you have a guy who's on the Philadelphia Eagles. He's probably on his way to the Hall of Fame. Lane Johnson on the offensive line. He pretty much spoke up after the game and he said, We don't know if we are running or we're just going to run and if we don't run, we throw it to AJ. Lane Johnson said the offense is too damn predictable.
We get behind the chains. I get very predictable. Um I think sometimes And so yeah, I mean it's it's frustrating, but You know, we have a lot of uh Yeah. And confident with the guys in this room and how we work to get it fixed and to make games not so hard on ourselves, make it more fluid. I feel like we've been very stagnant offensively.
At the end of the day, we've got to be able to keep the defense guessing, not be predictable, and. Yeah, like you said, we have spurts, but there's nothing that's consistent about what we're doing. No. You got one of the more senior guys on the entire team. calling out the new offensive coordinator and Kevin Petullo.
You got AJ Brown complaining about not getting the football enough. What does the head coach think about this? Because Nick Siriani is someone who can. He can explain his way. or he tries, he can explain his way out of a wet paper bag.
Hey, Nick Siriani, what the hell is going on with your squad? Or i w what's your message to the team right now? Get up. We're going to take some time off. and uh you know just get up and keep fighting.
Um Got a lot of things to fix. Been here before. Let's go. Oh, get up Oh, yeah, I mean, if you gotta think about The entire NFL season as a 17-game or 17-round fight. The Eagles have won four rounds.
And he lost two. There are plenty of other opportunities for them to get things together. And as he wants his team to just get up off the ground from being knocked down by the New York Giants. Their next game For the Eagles is obviously not this Sunday, but the following Sunday. against the Minnesota Vikings.
And they really do have to figure out Like, what is the team? You know, they do have some changes, like Makai Bechton is no longer a part. Of the offensive line. I told you about some of the defensive injuries, but Saquon Barkley, who rushed for 2,000 yards last year. He's first in the NFL in carries, with ninety five of them.
He only has three hundred and twenty five yards. That is one hell of a way off. From what we got. last year, and so for a team that's known to punch you in the mouth. Whether it's Jalen Hurts with the tush-push, damn it, they ran it four times straight yesterday, or it's Saquon Barkley.
What's going on with the run game? Like, you can't get Saquon yards. AJ Brown is complaining about not getting a rock. What the hell is going on with the run game, coach? I think there were some good moments in the run game today.
Um Got ourselves behind the sticks a little bit in the second half on some of the runs there.
So we'll look at everything right there. Um You know, we we know we We know we have the guys up front to be able to do that. Obviously, we got to do a good job putting them in positions to succeed, and then we got to go execute. You know, we'll look at everything. Running a bunch of different types of schemes, but we'll look at everything to see what we're doing well and treat this like a bye week here this weekend.
Yep, they'll they'll do good. I mean, as the the rest of the season continues on. I'm not going to ring alarm bells about the Philadelphia Eagles. This is what happens in a lot of cases. when you have success.
This is why winning in in the NFL isn't all that sustainable. I mean, it took the Patriots twenty years. And then, you know, obviously Tom Brady's longevity. But it took them almost 20 years before they all got sick of each other. And I mean, they've had personalities that came in, they went out.
Guys like Randy Moss, Gronkowski, dare I say, Aaron Hernandez, they had a lot of personalities. But we knew Tom Brady was a steady hand, and so was Bill Belichick, even though he was a pain in the ass. Here you have the Philadelphia Eagles. These guys are relatively young. They're also in the prime of their careers.
You think about their key players. A.J. Brown in his prime. Jalen Hurts probably entering into his prime. Saquon, firmly entrenched, currently in his prime.
I mean, the Eagles just gave him a contract extension. You gotta have your main guys. Get on the same page. and if they don't, yeah, they will be cooked. But I think ultimately they just have too much talent.
On both the defensive side of the ball and the offensive side of the ball, to just stink the entire year. If there is going to be a guy to tank this team, If there is gonna be a dude to be a pain in the ass, it's AJ Brown.
Okay, we don't hear anything from anybody else. Come on, we had a caller hit us up the other day. He looked at Jalen Hurts and said He's phony, JR. I go he's phony like Russell Wilson phony he goes he's phony He's a diva behind the scenes. It's all an act, and I'm well, it's a good act.
I take the act that act won a Super Bowl. You got Saquon Barkley, he doesn't bother anybody. Nick Siriani, every time he talks in front of a microphone, the head coach is stumbling and bumbling. Think about a guy like Jalen Carter. I mean, he's spitting in people's faces like a jackass.
As long as we keep him from behind the wheel of a car, I think we'll be okay. He ain't bothering nobody. Couped Gene ain't botherin' nobody. The Eagles have too much talent. Not to have success getting into the postseason.
I'm not going to sit here and tell you they're going to go and win another Super Bowl. Because who knows? If they get in which they should get into the postseason, And if they have a bad game or their bad run or series and A.J. Brown doesn't get the ball, can he tank them right away? Oh, hell yeah.
That's the only thing that I'm concerned about. A couple of days ago, I gave you a top six list.
Some of the biggest divas. at the wide receiver position that we've ever seen in the NFL. A guy like Terrell Owens might be great, Did did he win a title? No, he did it.
Okay, we had a guy like Michael Irvin. Michael Irvin, he won three of 'em, despite being on drugs and having his issues and stabbing people in the neck. Randy Moss never won a championship. God bless 'em went to the Patriots. Never won.
Okay.
Okay.
Antonio Brown, Nutty He's on the lamb right now. We got plenty of Diva wide receivers that have played in the league. AJ Brown has his ring. But is he going to tank the Eagles this year? I think he's the only guy that can do so.
Saquon Barclay, He was asked about the comments. from his offensive lineman Lane Johnson. about the offense being too predictable and everybody knows what's coming.
Well, this is what Saquon had to say about that. Do you think we'll be looking for more? Yeah. 'Cause we still we still got it off.
So I think we also got to get back into the attitude to that mindset, not really give a f ⁇ what we're trying to do. And well that's something done but He's like, yeah, we need a mindset of not giving a you know what. Just go out there and play. Like they're getting too cute. They're overthinking things.
You got one guy who goes, I'm not getting a football, and goes on social media.
Well, man, sit your ass down then. You wanna go play somewhere else? Get out of here. And of course him being on the football field helps them. the threat of him getting the ball helps them.
Okay, even if he's uh uh one of the best wide receiver decoys in the damn game. They won a championship. Come on now. It's not some team that stunk last year trying to figure it out. They won a championship last year, We all know throughout the course of the offseason they did not want to acknowledge the fact.
that they won a championship. The Eagles wanted to do and behave like this was just It's a brand new season it is. but they wanted to ignore the accomplishment from last year.
Well, maybe you guys need to remember what you did. And that's won the championship. And if A.J. Brown just relaxes and shuts the hell up, maybe they'll have an opportunity to do so again. I'm not concerned about the Eagles.
I'm not worried about their talent. I'm not worried about their nutty head coach who just says wild things, and Can't string together a sentence without sounding like some uh you know confused professor. If I'm the Eagles, I am worried about A.J. Brown. He can be a problem.
He is the most. unproblematic, problematic person ever. Whoever thought somebody reading a book on the sidelines? would be a distraction. I mean, if he's reading a book last year and they still won the Super Bowl.
What is he going to do? Sell books on the sideline this year if he doesn't get the rock? Yeah, they were lucky enough to win last year with all their talent. Don't let A.J. Brown tank you.
This goal Round. Speaking of that nutty head coach with the professorial answers all the time, Nick Siriani was asked. You you feel good about you guys, you know, flipping the script? This is what their crazy coach had to say. Love the guys that we have.
Love the coaches that we have. Um Obviously these these groups of this group of guys and group of coaches have you know, been to the been to the top of the mountain, been to playoffs and figure out ways. And I know we can figure out ways to get this thing rolling. Yeah. Well, they can start by gettin' things rollin'.
In a little bit more than a week from now in Minnesota. And if they can't do that, oh man, you th the wheels are going to continue to fall off.
Okay, you want to go on a three game losing streak? We don't know at that point, you know, maybe J.J. McCarthy is back, maybe he's not. I said that they have to win. Or they had to win last night.
They didn't do so. In another loss? We'll make things even louder. I feel good about the Eagles. I felt good about em this week, and they still lost.
Two losses in one week for the Super Bowl Champs. I think they'll be fine. I will Let's see what the journey looks like. on the way there. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you, coast to coast, on the Infinity Sports Network.
You know what? We'll get into the team that actually won last night. We'll talk about the New York Giants, because knocking off the Super Bowl champs, That's a good damn thing for them.
So we'll get into. Mr. Cam Scatterboo. We'll talk about Jackson Dart. We'll get into Shador Sanders.
He got some good news today. Speaking of the Eagles, we're going to have a conversation, I told you, with John McMullen. From SI. He's going to join us to talk Eagles later on in the show. Lindsey Rhodes will be here with us next hour from Sumer Sports to talk all things NFL.
We have some other good games that are coming up this weekend: Seattle and Jacksonville, Detroit and Kansas City on Sunday night, San Francisco at Tampa Bay. And so we got a lot to discuss. We got a lot to get into. If you want to be a part of the show, you can. 888-710-4ISN.
That's 888-710-4ISN. Are you concerned? With the Philadelphia Eagles? Do you think there are too many egos in that locker room? Do you think that they're already falling apart at the seams?
888-710-4ISN is the number. A matter of fact, when we come back, let's stick to the theme of Philadelphia. Let's go to the city. of brotherly love. because there's no love in Philly right now.
for the Phillies. The Dodgers eliminated them, From the postseason. We'll talk about the Phillies on the other side. We're just getting warmed up this Friday. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief Show, Coast to Coast, on the Infinity Sports Network.

You're listening to the JR Sport Brief. It is the JR Sport Brief Show here with you, coast to coast. On the Infinity Sports Network. Not a good day in Philadelphia. Not a good day for Philadelphia sports fans.
Yesterday they had to deal with the Eagles and their second consecutive loss a second loss just in a matter of less than a week. They lose on Sunday to Denver. The Eagles lose last night to the New York Giants. And then you have the Phillies. At least maybe there was a little bit of hope.
you know, following the Eagles' loss yesterday, but then Well, in in Los Angeles the Phillies were eliminated. From the postseason. again the Phillies knocked out in the divisional round for the third straight season. And now we got the the Dodgers. Going to the National League Championship Series.
They're going to try to go out there and win another championship. We know, of course, that they won the World Series last year. The Dodgers are going to the elite championship series. For the eighth time. in thirteen years.
Like, we are in the midst of a dynasty right now with the Dodgers. I know they haven't won the World Series yet. They have to wait on the winner between the Chicago Cubs and the Brewers tomorrow. I mean, they went to five games. Shout out to the Cubs for making that series entertaining.
But the Dodgers keep on winning. And man, the Phillies, they go home again, and there might be some changes, okay? You got Kyle Schwarber. Who's going to be a free agent? I know he was out there mashing home runs, but he didn't have the best overall postseason.
Same thing from Bryce Harper. But the way that the Phillies lost last night. is what really has to sting.
Okay, the Phillies lost. On an arrow.
Okay? Or Ryan? Kirkaring excuse me, Carkering He had an opportunity with the bases loaded. to throw to first base. he decided to throw it home to Realmuto.
except for he could not find Home plate.
Okay, Kim scores. The series is over. We had the damn game. end on a walk off. Error.
That's bad.
Okay, Orion Kirkering is twenty four years old. Rob Thompson had to pretty much console him on the way off of the field. You know he felt like crap, Let's take a listen to this final call, the final play of the game that sent the Phillies home and sent the Dodgers and their fans. Into maybe another World Series. Listen to this courtesy of Philly's Radio.
Back into the box is the right-handed batter. Taps the barrel down on the plate, drags it across the dish. Sets his hands up high, the 0-1. Swing at a broken back, comebacker. Kirkering knocks it down, picks it up.
Wildly home to the backstop. And the season is over. The Dodgers rushing out past Orion Kirkering who stands with his hands on his knees bent over. JT Ramuto puts an arm around him. Nick Castianos does as well.
And Kirkering, who had an easy out at first base. The inning was over, but he threw wildly to the plate all the way to the backstop. And the Phillies season has come to an end. On a broken bat roller back to the mound. Yeah, that really gotta suck.
A, you're on the road. They got I Love L A blaring in the background. Bacher, what would have been worse? Doing that at ho I guess doing it at home or the road. Oh.
If they did that at home, There would be an unbelievable amount of beer cans or beer bottles on the field. Oh man. Bottles, they give you pigs. That's why they give you plastic cups. The cups, okay, even then, even worse, the cups would be on the field, the food on the field.
It would have been I don't want to say like a a riot, but it would have been pretty bad. But uh yeah. Better off for Kirkering to have done that on the road. At least everybody around him, outside of everybody involved with the Phillies, everybody was celebrating. And and this is the part that really, really stinks.
And maybe It'll go out of his head in the offseason. Who knows? Maybe he'll wear this around his neck for the rest of his career. It it's not his fault. that they lost this series.
Okay, the Dodgers ultimately eliminated them three to one. He just had an error that would have elongated things or maybe stretched things out. There's also no guarantee. Period that the Phillies would have came back and won last night. There's no guarantee that they would have, you know, I don't know, just tied things and forced a game five.
None of that's guaranteed. Like, we can only draw a conclusion by what we've seen. It took Kyle Schwarber a while to get going. Bryce Harper never got going. And so I could say that it was mainly the the offense.
And the fact that they were inept as to why they lost. A Kirk ring just so happens to. Finish off the game with an hour. Like, what do you want? Rob Thompson, you know that's what he whispered to him when he walked off of the field.
And the media asked the manager of the Phillies that as well. Rob, what did you tell him? Just to keep his head up. You know, he just got caught up in the moment a little bit. Um Guys.
coming down the stretcher, he pitched so well for us. It's um And I feel for him. Because he's he's putting it all on his shoulders. We win as a team or we lose as a team. Yeah, come on man.
E deep down, you know hey, I I don't I don't hit the ball.
Okay, I just throw the ball, and maybe I threw the ball past my damn catcher instead of throwing it to first. He's not a one-man team. You win together? You lose together. He didn't lose three games.
He may have contributed he contributed To the loss yesterday. he's not the reason that they they lost. Dave Roberts, he knows a thing or two about winning and losing. The manager of the Dodgers put in his thoughts about Kirkering's error as well. It's brutal.
Obviously, they played great defense tonight. Yeah. And, you know, it's one of those things that it's a PFP, a pitcher's fielding practice, and he's done it. A thousand times, and you know, just right there, he was so focused, I'm sure, on just getting the hitter and you know, just sort of forgot, you know, the outs and the situation.
So, you know, Kirkring is a stud. You know, you definitely feel for a player and I'm obviously happy that we won, but it's just, yeah, he's had a heck of a year and is a heck of a pitcher. Yeah, it's not just all his fault. I told you about Kyle Schwarber. He was pretty quiet.
I mean, a couple of days ago, he had two home runs in the game. Last night, he was. One for five, and now he's on his way into free agency. Kyle, how do you feel about your last game? This could be your last game in Philly, even though we pretty much think you'll be back.
These guys all know how I feel about them. Uh I got a lot of respect for the guys in here, our organization. The coaches, the coaching staff, everyone top to bottom. This is a premier organization. And A lot of people should feel Uh You know, very lucky.
That One that you're playing for team that is Trying to win every single year. Uh And Do you have a fan base that cares? And you have ownership that that cares and you have coaches like here, you have everyone in the room. that cures and there's no other there's no other reason. We're all about water.
Yeah. It's a it's a great thing and I think that's why it's It hurts just as much as any other year. Kyle Schwarby, he'll be back. Come on, man. The guy's not leaving Philadelphia.
They'll pay him. Nick Castellano's probably out the door. Kyle Schwarber is likely to stick around. One guy we know, he ain't going anywhere. He's not a free agent.
Going to be quite a few years. Bryce Harper, the Golden Child. He's going to be 33 years old in a matter of days. He turns 33 on the 16th. In this series against the Dodgers, he was also MIA.
Just period.
Okay, no home runs this postseason. He was 3 of 15 at the plate. He was stymied with by the Dodgers in their pitching. In Bryce Harper, this is what he had to say about just Losing in the divisional round. Again Tough situation, obviously, you know, we want to win and You wanna, you know.
Advanced to the NLCS and it's a really good team over there. We went toe to toe today and pretty heavyweight fight, you know, back and forth and things like that.
So, really good pitching. Um, obviously and, you know, they uh Come on on top. Wow. It's kinda crazy to think. The last time the Phillies won a championship.
We got to go to two thousand eight. It feels that they've always been in competition, they're always hanging around, but they have not won since 2008. And then the Yankees were eliminated two days ago. They haven't won since 2009. Bacha, can we just give the World Series to the Dodgers again this year?
Can we just hand it over? I don't know. There's a couple of teams that are pretty pesky. You could have a team of uh Just an underdog take it this year. And we'll see.
I mean the Dodgers uh even when they win they look like underdogs. The Dodgers look like they get every break. The Dodgers just well, Mookie Betts said it all. In a victory, he says, you know what, this situation, what's going on, is just Nuts. I don't know you can.
I mean. That game was crazy. That was two teams really. I was fighting. I mean literally fighting.
It was like a street bike but a baseball game. And uh I mean fortunately came out on top. Yeah. We'll see. We'll find out who their opponent is.
By the time we get to tomorrow night, okay, we got the Chicago Cubs and the Milwaukee Brewers in a game five. We're going to figure out who's going to advance to take on the Dodgers in the National League Championship Series. We got some baseball tonight between Detroit and Seattle, and we got a lot going on today. We got a lot going on over the weekend. When we come back on the other side of the break, Okay, the Phillies lost.
The Eagles lost last night. I'm going to tell you about somebody who actually won Today I'm going to fill you in on that individual on the other side of the break, but right now it is time for a news flash. Here he is. It's Rich Ackerman. Football is fun.

888-710-4ISN is the number. That's 888-710-4ISN. We've talked about some uh losers.
Sorry, we talked about some Philadelphia teams.
Sorry to the Eagles, sorry to the Phillies. At least the Eagles can continue on with their season. Uh the Phillies well, w we'll see them in the spring. Yeah, we gotta go through the whole winter. without no Philadelphia baseball.
Uh but forget Philadelphia for a second. Speaking of losers, Let's go to Cleveland, okay? Let's go to the Browns. There's one guy who's winning right now in Cleveland. At least he has to be feeling good.
That's Shador. Sanders. We know the Browns overall they're a bunch of losers. The Browns have a record of one and four. They just lost to the Vikings twenty one and seventeen.
But I guess Kevin Stefansky and Berry saw enough out of Dylan Gabriel that they said we're going to get Joe Flacco the hell up on out of here. Or apparently the Bengals called for Joe Flacco because Jake Browning stinks. Bottom line is Dylan Gabriel is the guy. He's quarterback number one.
Now we all know the controversy surrounding Shaddor. from why he got drafted so low to when he got drafted to where he is on the depth chart. But with all these quarterbacks now gone, From Cleveland.
Okay, you look at Joe Flacco, look at Kenny Pickett, Deshaun Watson injured. It would be natural that Shador would be.
Next. Up. And so right when the trade took place There were questions to Kevin Stefanski about Chador, and you would think that that the media was pulling teeth. It's real simple. Is Shadora going to be quarterback number two?
Is he going to move up the depth chart? and Kevin Stefansky reluctantly said anything. He made it sound like he was asked if Shador was he. you know, gonna go take his daughter out on a date or You know, whether or not he trusts him with his life. We just wanna know if he's gonna be the back up.
Quarterback. And so today we finally got that answer. Kevin Stefansky said. Yeah. Why is Shador number two?
Listen to Stefansky in the announcement. Decided yet if Shador is ready to be your number two quarterback for this game? Yeah, Shador will be the backup. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah, like I told you guys on Wednesday, I'm. Always thinking about our players and what's best for our players. And I want to make sure when it comes to young football players, particularly at the quarterback position, that you are intentional about your decision making. And that's really all it is.
So excited for all of our guys. Oh. I I I like how he always deflects. He's like I I'll mention the quarterback one time, but it's always about all the guys. Really only specifically.
When it comes down to Shador. If you were asked about Miles Garrett, I'm pretty sure it would just be all about Miles Garrett. There wouldn't be anything about Miles Garrett In the guise. It's like he has a bone to pick with Shador. It's like the Cleveland Browns, Kevin Stefansky in particular, it's like they still want to beat down on the dude.
It's like damn, what did he do?
Okay, General Manager Barry picked him. He's now on the team, Get over it Like, what happens if Dylan Gabriel goes down, if J.J. Watt, excuse me, TJ Watt, knocks the living hell out of him on Sunday, the Browns are going to take on the Steelers. if he gets the hell beat out of him. What is he going to look at Shador and just go, you know what?
I'm going to go in there and play quarterback myself. You know, it is a possibility that we see Shador. Listen to Shador, because he was asked about this Whole situation. He's quarterback number two. Dylan Gabriel is number one.
Do you want to take his job? Listen to what Shador said. No, we're gonna make sure we do everything we can to make sure you're not ready for the game, so you know, whatever that means.
So Each and every day, even when Joe is the start of everything, you know, take prepare the right way and be ready to know that you can get out there at any point in time.
So I'm overly confident within myself, so I know when I first got here, you know, I'm ready to play, but. You know, it's up to the coaches and, you know, whatever decision, you know, they make that I'm fine with. Hmm.
Well, the decision has been made. He's East quarterback number two. And I I just gotta be honest, this is not a hunch. Um, you know, I'm not Miss Clio, I'm not an oracle, I cannot predict the future. If I could, I wouldn't be sitting here.
I'd be giving away.
Well, I'd be playing lotto every day, winning all the money. I think we're going to see Shaddour sooner than later. God bless Dylan Gabriel in the last game. No turnovers. That was a bugaboo.
With Joe Flack always throwin' a rock, I just don't think physically physically That Dylan Gabriel will last throughout an entire NFL season. I just don't. I mean, he's not one of these guys that's running all over the place. The Browns don't necessarily have the best offensive line. and I wouldn't be surprised, even if it was for a play or a series or two.
If we saw Shaddor get some action, on Sunday.
Now I'm not wishing on an injury for Dylan Gabriel. I'm just very, very eager. I think, like a lot of fans in particular, Cleveland, Ohio, maybe fans of the Buffaloes, I want to see what Shador can do. Ain't nobody thought about Dylan Gabriel coming out of the draft. People thought it was Cam Ward and then Shaddour right after him.
Let's see what Shador can do. I don't know. It's either going to come via injury Or Dylan Gabriel is going to have to throw a whole lot of interceptions before we see Shador. The Pittsburgh Steelers are 3-1. It's a quiet three-in-one when you got you know who Aaron Rodgers.
at the quarterback position. I I guess it's a good thing that the Steelers are. Things are quiet there. Botcher How long before we see Shador throw a pass? Two weeks.
I think Gabriel will get taken out. I think you've seen it with Jackson Dart too. You still somehow have the ghost of Russell Wilson coming in. every other week to throw passes.
So With the concussion protocol now, I think it'd be a week or two. Wow. Well, well, hopefully the guy doesn't get popped, but We'll see what takes place uh with Dylan Gabriel.
Now there is a concern with Shador. And in particular, not to say he's going to see action on Sunday against the Steelers. He may not see any. But if he had one issue in college It was stretching out those plays.
Okay, Shador isn't the type of guy. Who's going to move forward? He is not Jalen Hurts. He's not Lamar Jackson. I don't want to say a pocket passer, but he's going to run around the line of scrimmage.
And try to find a receiver, okay? That's not gonna work in the NFL. We saw that times in the preseason when he did play, and one game in particular, Which adore took all the time in the world, Behind the line of scrimmage, he was And he just kept getting cooked. As a result, Like you can't go backwards. If there's one way to be sitting your ass right back on the bench, it's to have the ball snap to you.
And instead of looking to advance the ball forward, You're thinking about how you can run around in the backfield. That's that's one sure fire way. To be driven into the ground.
So, congratulations to Shador. He's a winner. He's quarterback number two. I mean, you think about it, just about a month ago, before that, He was quarterback number three, and then he was quarterback number four. And now you see, oh, how things have changed.
Botcher did mention Jackson Dart. Congratulations to him on beating the Eagles yesterday. Scatterboo had three touchdowns. You got Jackson Dart. He threw for a touchdown, ran for a touchdown to two exciting young rookies that, if you're a Giants fan, you're like, damn it.
we can build with these two guys. They didn't have the turnovers that they had against the New Orleans Saints, and it looks like things are moving in a positive direction for the New York Giants. Jackson Dart says, yeah, we beat the Champs, and we're building something special here in New York. You know, we felt confident. And uh you know we try to play hard for each other.
Uh we're not trying to make statements like we're just trying to play for each other and win games.
So um you know we want to find an identity and I felt like we we did a good job of of putting that a little bit together tonight. Cam Scatterboo, he's nuts, and both he and Jackson Dart, they're like, Yeah, we could change things around for the Giants. Me and him do A lot of things on the side together, talk a lot together. About kind of getting this turned around. Not doing it on our own, but getting everyone to buy in and continue to stay positive and work to be better.
You know, the the franchise has been a losing franchise the last couple years, but that's not who we are right now. We need to continue to build and build and build each and every day and have these guys with positive mindsets and get away from that losing mindset.
So we won the game tonight, and I felt that through these guys. I felt the confidence through no matter what, going up by three, going down by four. I felt that through these guys.
So it's been awesome. And like I said, I'm excited to see what these guys do in the future.
Okay.
Well, I want to see what they do in the future, too. The New York giants have been in the toilet for so long. The fan base deserves a little bit of a turnaround. We know things have typically been okay on the defense, they've been struggling on the offensive side of the ball. Pathetic.
Maybe they got a quarterback now, maybe they got a running back. Man, Malik Neighbors comes back next year. They get another veteran wide receiver, fits the line. Giants could be on the epina. It's the JR Sport Re Show on the Infinity Sports Network.
