And it is a godless, atheistic communism that is the CCP. I want to welcome Nan Su, Nathan Nan Su of The Epoch Times. Nan, welcome. Good to have you. Good morning, Greg.

Thank you for having me. Nan, I guess we need to kind of begin this journey with you this morning by describing who are the CCP exactly? I mean, what is this entity referred to as the CCP?

Can you tell us who they are? Well, the CCP is the Chinese Communist Party. It was established in 1921. So this year was actually, July 1st of this year was actually the 100 years anniversary of the establishment of the CCP. When it was first established in China, it was considered a branch of a former Soviet Union's Communist Party. So it was established based on the funding from former Soviet Union. So basically, it's how it started. And the movement started, the communist movement started in China 100 years ago. And now this is the party that's completely, like what you just mentioned, that completely based on atheism.

They don't believe anything that's about the human dimension. And that's why if you look back in the past 20 years in the relation between the West and China, we have enough trouble, poison, food, poison, toys. That's why. Wait a minute. Did you say, did you say poison?

Yeah. Poison, food, poison, toys that's imported from China, that's exported from China to the West. And that's why we out the trade negotiations, the intellectual property protection negotiations. All these negotiations never gone with anywhere because there is no moral value in that party.

Why? Because in the Chinese Communist Party's regime system, there's no one above the government. The government is the maximum god in that system. Can we back up for just a second? I appreciate and I think it's important that we share what you were just talking about. One of the things that happened in the early days, what they referred to as the cultural revolution, and I'm actually involved in helping to promote Shenyang in the Bay Area on the KTRB, which is a station that I'm on over there. But if you could speak to roughly, we're told there's about 100 million Chinese that were murdered, that were killed as the Chinese communists, Mao Zedong and the Chinese communists, essentially took over the country. Can you speak to that and that persecution? Obviously, folks, keeping in mind that this is an atheistic, godless regime that is in charge of China. Yes, they have done whatever they want to do, basically. There is no moral standard.

They never really concerned the value of human life. Yes, it was true, it was estimated about 80, somewhere between 80 million to 100 million people died with unnatural cause after the CCP took over control of China in 1949. Only just during the Great Lit, I'm not sure if people heard of the word Great Lit.

That's at the end of the 50s and early 60s that they have a Great Lit. Chairman Mao had an idea. They say, we're going to use five years to catch on UK in the economy and 10 years to catch up the United States. And then we're running, we're not walking, we're running to the communism.

So that's the great plan, and which end up become a disaster. The Chinese communist regime, basically, they want every part of the nation to increase their production, either in agriculture or industries, right? So we end up, because there's no moral value there, so every level of official, at the time they call it shooting the stars, what it means is they just say, oh, we made a huge amount of production, like the rice, we have a really super harvest. And then they reported like more than 10, like every acre, they're going to have like more than 100,000 pounds of rice, right?

That kind of unbelievable number. Now, the problem is in China, the government owns everything, right? So once you say, oh, you produce this much, you have a huge harvest, then you have to send all these production products to be collected by the government. Now, all these different level of officials, once they're shooting all these, they're shooting the stars, and then they really have farmers to look for all these rice to the central government. Now, so what they do, they send the people to go to farmers, the house, they take everything they have away, even the food for themselves. So that's how they will fulfill after they're shooting the stars, right?

They fulfill whatever they call the upper level government, how much product they have. So, and then, of course, that's three years, more than 30 million, that's by Chinese Communist Party's own, the district of more than 30 million, which is probably very low estimate, by their own estimate, more than 30 million people die in the late 50s and early 60s during the Great Lips. Because they starve to death, right?

That's right. They starve to death? Well, yes, they starve to death. The actual cause of the death could vary, you know, there are a lot of people, especially during those times, people eat everything. So there are horrible stories. Sickness, right?

Yes. Sickness and disease. Sickness, disease, and there are people, not sure, some of the people, people here will never imagine what people eat during those times, because there was absolutely no food nationwide, right? So there are people eat the chilis, and then after they finish eating all the chilis, some of the people eat the soils, they, they, there are certain kind of a soil they, they, they, people eat. And then after they eat, you know, they cannot get a mouth.

So, so they die off of that. And there, there are, there are horrible stories of, uh, uh, people trade the babies to eat, uh, like you eat my bed, my, um, my family will eat yours. And you know, that kind of story.

It's, it's, it's, it's, it's a horrible, horrible, all kinds of a horrible story. Uh, in theory, in that three years, that's what happened in China on the 10 mile. That's even before the cultural revolution, the cultural revolution between 1966 and 1976, that 10 years was another disaster. A lot of people die. And, uh, but the main thing, uh, the, during the cultural revolution that happened is, uh, if they destroy all the tradition, uh, they say all the tradition need to be wiped out because they only want the communist culture.

And think about what happened to today's Beijing's leader. Yeah. They are the generation during the cultural revolution. They are the, like, uh, they are the boys, right?

They are like, uh, uh, teenager years. And so they are the generation, uh, you know, they are the first generation that's growing up without any traditional culture. And that's why you see, uh, from, from Xi Jinping and all the waiting's leader right now, they are generation. I'm moving forward all the following generations of leaders. They didn't grow up with any traditional culture.

So they are entirely, uh, grew up in this culture. In this godless, in this godless idea. All right. Cause we're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna run out of, uh, of, of time if, if we've got to get to, uh, kind of moving forward to that. But folks, I wanted you to get, because it's so important and then thank you for that. It's so important to understand the evils of it because next hour, uh, George Barnett is going to talk to us about, about Americans that are embracing this Marxism, uh, because they have been fed absolute lies about what Marxism actually is and what it actually does to a country.

And, and this is the perfect example of that. Talk to me now and, and, and, and, and let's move forward to talk about, uh, the, the declaration of war on the West. And, and, and obviously that was in conjunction with a, while they were oppressing and, and, and, and spawning this, this evil upon the Chinese people there, uh, in China at the same time, they were, uh, looking at, at world conquest.

You mentioned they wanted to be caught up with the UK in five years, caught up with the US in 10, obviously none of those things worked out back then. Um, but, but they're, they're continuing that kind of warfare. And then many people, uh, are, are, you know, running around saying, Oh, uh, you know, China is going to March. They're raising up a million man army. Uh, they're, they're gonna, they're gonna March, you know, on down into, uh, the, you know, the Middle East, what have you, everywhere that, that China touches, but they're going to, uh, bring this million down man army and they're going to use nuclear weapons and so on. You're saying, well, that is an option, but really their, their plan is something different than that. And we need to understand that plan. Uh, yes.

Uh, um, yeah. China is next 30 years. Their plan is really, uh, to continue these, uh, unrestricted warfare. It's to destroy the, the economy in the West while at the same time they build up a global economic system that's circling around. So the goal that they have is to build up, uh, their, their, their global dominance.

And that was part of the rope bridges and, and, and turf. And we'll get into that here in a moment. Um, policy and, and then to basically pull the rug out from underneath America on, on many of its major supplies. And, and it has a lot to do with our supply shortages. I would imagine, but we'll talk with Nan more about that.

That's 360 to 400 million people living in that country that are living in those conditions.

But that means, folks, that there are between 750 and 900,000, three times the population, two to three times the population of the United States that are literally living in swallows. Absolute poverty is where they're living out in the completely undeveloped parts of China. Nan, talk to me, you were mentioning to me that to get an understanding, if you go over there and you see the opulence of China and you think, well, they're taking great care of the people, Marxism must be working.

What are two of the questions that you would ask people to ask individuals in that society? Well, a lot of people who went to China, who visited over there, everything looked fabulous. And the problem is they all stay in the city, right? And they really not going to the remote area.

Everything they see, it's whatever they want to show you, basically. Now, a lot of people say China has a really capitalist market over there. People can do their private business. People can buy their own properties.

And now the problem is asking yourself two questions. Number one, do you think that your private property rights is protected in China? Number two, do you think that China really has a free market?

Once you answer that two questions, you come to the answer yourself for if China has a true capitalist market. Thank you for having me. Now, one thing I need just need to make a little correction. When you say things 1921, they killed 80 to 100 million people. That was actually not true. 1921 was the time the Chinese Communist Party just established that they didn't have the power. And why say that they they cost them about 80 to 100 million unnatural deaths after 1949, after the regime took actually the Chinese Communist Party took over control of China without any war with any other country, only just because the way they rule country, they rule China and they cost 80 to 100 million unnatural cause of death. So in an even shorter period of time than since 1921, from 1949, and actually that that number of 80 to 100 million, although there are still there's persecution that is taking place right now, organ harvesting that is taking place right now, this abject poverty and people dying in this poverty right now in China, Chinese people living under this oppressive regime. But that 80 to 100 million that a lot of people talk about was from 1949, roughly to what about 1970? Well, to now.

Yes, of course, to now, because the numbers keep adding. But there was massive death that took place. Even the Chinese you mentioned indicated the Chinese, the CCP, not the Chinese, the CCP admitted that they had nearly 30 million deaths during one of their campaigns.

You mentioned two other things for people to ask questions of and then I want to get into this unrestricted warfare and time goes so fast, as you know, on the radio, so I don't want to miss this window. But one of the questions was about private property ownership. Do people actually have true private property ownership in China? And number two, the second question that you ask is, is there actually a free market in China? And of course, we're seeing as the CCP has taken over Hong Kong, what's happening to those companies as they are literally being gobbled up by the CCP and any kind of independence that used to exist, even in somewhere like Hong Kong, which was an economic engine for China, is now being gobbled up.

And the answer to both those questions is no. I want to get into the issue, Nan, though, of unrestricted warfare. And that's what China is committing against the rest of the world and in particular against the United States. Unrestricted warfare.

What does that mean? What does that look like as it is being perpetrated upon us? Well, the concept of unrestricted warfare was invented by the Chinese military. They actually published a book in the late 90s. You can just go on Google and just search unrestricted warfare. It was a book written by the Chinese, two Chinese military officials in the late 90s. Basically unrestricted warfare is a war without any rules, without any moral bottom line, without any humanity concerns that include the culture or warfare like the Confucius Institute that's spreading all around the world, funded by Chinese government. And then there was cyber warfare and there is economical warfare like, you know, what you see right now, the COVID. COVID is a perfect example.

COVID could be considered as a combination of biowarfare and economical warfare. So it's designed to use whatever the way they can come up with to destroy the Western world's economy. While at the same time, keep in mind it is the money, it is the investment and technology that's from the Western world that's still keep pouring to China that really keep this regime survive. So essentially we have American business people that are spending millions and billions of dollars that they are pumping into the CCP economy. And in return, the CCP is doing everything that it can to cripple America's economy and to suck those people into their machine. And there's absolutely no moral code that restricts what they're doing. And I know many in my audience have talked about, well, okay, but if they did biochemical warfare and this is that kind of an attack, wouldn't they have wanted massive numbers of dead bodies as a result of the release of this virus into culture. There are a number of bodies in certain areas where people did die, but in America, you know, the percentages and the numbers in reality, the real true numbers seem to be quite a bit lower than one might expect that they would be. But Nan, there's another piece to the equation that goes beyond just the virus specific, and that is the propaganda that has been used about the virus that has shut down businesses and truly impacted America's economy.

Am I on the right track? Yes. Well, they understand how the Western world operates, right? You have a freedom and while at the same time in China, they, well, first of all, they don't really care the value of human life. They don't care about the humanity. They don't really care how many people die.

They cost like tens of millions of people die in the past already. All they want to do is they want to destroy the Western world, right? They, even all these years when all these investments, technologies from the West keep pouring to China and help China grow its economy, they have never stopped talking about the Western world as their enemy.

They never stop, right? It's the Americans, it's the Westerners who had this rosy picture that if we keep pouring our money and our technology to China and they someday they will become one of us. They will become a democratic country. That's just the rosy picture they have been thinking. And they still today, there are a lot of people still thinking that way and never realize the regime is the biggest enemy now.

It's the biggest threat to the lifestyle of our next generation. Well, and this is the thing, and something that you mentioned that I thought was interesting was the Confucius Institutes, because a lot of people don't realize that the Confucius Institutes have found their way onto many of our university campuses and they essentially are a part. How exactly do they layer themselves into American universities? Well, this is a part of the cultural warfare. They want to give people this. It's to help the Chinese Communist regime to make their propaganda to reach the Western world.

No, no, no, I understand that. But my question is that when they establish a Confucius Institute, say at the University of California Los Angeles at UCLA, how do they do that? They partner with the university and they begin a Confucius Institute and they say that it is a way for the students there to gain an understanding of the Chinese culture.

What is their methodology that they're using? And then what propaganda are they actually, how are they twisting young minds? Well, they say they were going to in this institute, they will teach you Confucius, right?

That's certainly what they trying to put the image. But come on, they don't even practice Confucianism in China. The core of Confucianism is the humanity, right?

If they are running the government, they operate the entire government system entirely against the humanity. And why do they come to other countries to teach other people Confucianism? And in fact, in all these Confucius Institute, they don't, they talk about nothing about Confucius. They just start, they just use the name of Confucius because they thought this was a good name to use for their purpose.

It will be received. It will be accepted as something peaceful rather than something. I mean, if they tried to open up institutes, you know, called the art of war, right? They're probably not going to get a whole lot of campuses that are going to say, hey, why don't you come on in here and teach us the Chinese art of war?

Yeah, okay, not so much. But in fact, you know, that's going on. And we know that because Falun Gong and the peaceful practitioners there in China are persecuted horrifically, horrifically.
