It is time for a Kingdom Health Transformation with Mike James. Good afternoon. Good afternoon out there in the light land, the light church as it's called.

This is Mike James, your host, Bodies in Christ, a Kingdom Health Transformation. Thankful to be here today. Glad to be back. I hope everybody out there, all the fathers had a wonderful Father's Day and got to celebrate.

I know a lot of times fathers, you know, sometimes they may not get taken out as much as mothers, but hey, you know what? We're thankful. Thankful for the recognition, the acknowledgement. And again, I pray all you had a great time.

So this week we're back and you know, we've had some special guests in with this and that's been great. But today I'm going to go over some of the fifth key. I've been going over the five keys to biblical health and biblical wellness, your best health ever. And that fifth key I'm going to talk about a little bit today. So I want you all to listen up and just hear me out and what's being said here just in reference to these keys. So the fifth key, and I'll do like sometimes your parents would do you back in the day when they tell you, listen, we're going to sit down and we're going to have a conversation, right? And we're going to talk about, no, we're not going to talk about the birds and the bees.

No, we're not going to talk about where babies come from. But we're going to talk about eating and God's eating plan, right? What is it that God would have us eat? As we're talking about Kingdom Health and how it relates to how it ties into all of these.

And this is the crucial key right here. Is this fifth key and one of the things when and some of you all have heard my background a little bit and how it kind of got started with this after I gave my life to Christ some 30 years ago and 30 plus years ago. And how he put this on my spirit just to deal in the health and healing space as it relates to the body of Christ and looked at all the healing scriptures and everything. And then, you know, basically outline a course that I used to do live years ago called Bodies in Christ. And so it was a seven week course that I'd walk a number of believers through and there were things taught in there that if you kind of followed that path, then help wise, that would be one of your one of your lesser concerns because of the plan that that pretty much he had laid out.

So I was following that plan for, you know, most of the past 30 years and that's what led me to where I am now. But then I was looking at it and even though I was eating, there was a lot of things I was not eating. That definitely helped me and benefited me health wise. You know, a couple of years ago, the Lord showed me it's not so much what you're not eating, Mike, but it's more so of what you should be eating. OK, so that's a different approach because, of course, we hear about all of the different things not to eat. You know, don't eat this, don't eat that. And that's and there's some wisdom in that because some things are not the best for us. So, yes, we'd want to stay away from some of those things. But he led me to understand how important it is to eat certain things that he had outlined in the Bible years ago.

I mean, actually, in the first part of the Bible. So I'd gone on, as I mentioned, and I was in pretty good health, didn't have any health issues, you know, doing pretty much what was laid out in the plan for me to do, doing that for years. And then what happened was I still was eating processed food, some what was, quote unquote, called healthy processed foods. So, you know, like your cereals, your breakfast cereals, raisin brands, you know, some of the bars, the granola bars and different things in the stores. Again, if you're eating those things, I'm not saying, hey, you don't eat those things, right? But I was eating a lot of those things, but they were still processed foods. But then the Lord gave me the revelation about two years ago. And brought to my attention what his eating plan is and was because it hasn't changed.

So now here I am, I'm down the road 30 years later, I'm like, OK, God, I've been pretty much walking through this plan. Haven't been sick, haven't had any illness, not on any medication, you know, doing pretty good. Body weight, a little bit more than it probably should have been or, you know, right at borderline. Then too, when I had some blood work done, blood pressure right there at borderline. So, you know, but I'm still living a pretty good life.

You know, I'm at that time pushing 60 and still, you know, in great health. But then it kind of shared with me, OK, you were teaching something, Mike, when you was doing the class in reference to my eating plan. OK, so now I looked at that and then I ran into a gentleman that shared some information with me and he was doing something that I thought was kind of interesting. And so I said, you know what, I'm going to do that for 21 days. And what I ended up doing for 21 days was exactly what God shared with me was his eating plan, not only share with me, but it's in plain sight.

Right. So we're going to look at it. What is God's eating plan? It's clear as day.

It's never been hidden away. If you look in Genesis, chapter one. And you go to verse 29. So, of course, we know Genesis is the first book of the Bible. Chapter one is the first chapter in the Bible.

Right. So God has given man instructions on how to survive, how to navigate his environment in the garden. It's kind of ironic that God would put him in a garden. But it's not.

And you'll see why in a minute. So this is what God tells Adam in the garden back in Genesis. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed. To you it shall be for meat. So now God spelled it out for Adam plain as day. This is what you are to eat. Right. It's right there.

It's plain as day. That's what and then the Lord ministered to me. Listen, get back to Genesis 129 or get to it for the first time. Take it seriously. Eat according to my eating plan. Now, I'm going to say this because I noticed some people out there listening and say, well, no, you can't say, you know, if I eat this way, it's a sin. If I eat.

No, that's not what I'm saying. I'm not saying that you're sinning if you're eating, you know, fried chicken potato chips. If you're eating, you know, you enjoy your chicken and dumplings and you enjoy your, you know, your chitlins and everything else. I'm not saying you're sinning if you're eating those things, because, of course, you know, I know some people say, well, God made everything is good. You bless the food.

Don't make it a stumbling block for somebody. You can eat anything you want to. And that is absolutely biblically correct.

You can. Right. When you talk when it comes to food and eating in this dispensation of grace. The only thing that's a sin. Is gluttony. That's still a sin. Right. So now I'm not going to address gluttony.

That's one. That's not what I'm here to do today. But that's the only thing related to eating right now that I can find that's a sin. But as far as what you eat, you can eat whatever you want to. But this is the thing I want to share with you as we talk about God's eating plan is I believe when you look in Genesis, you can find the original intent. For man all throughout the Book of Genesis.

Right. So when God gave Adam this eating plan. I believe that was his original intent for our bodies. That's what he wanted us to eat. That's what he wanted to feed and nourish ourselves, replenish us and everything else.

And I feel like that's still true today because now the research is coming around to really collaborate what God put in motion and what he told Adam thousands of years ago. That listen, this is what you are to eat. It's basically plant based and it's basically, you know, raw food. He wasn't cooking the food, right? He was just eating off the trees, eating what came up in the garden, eating the seeds and everything else. And I truly believe that's the best way to eat today. Now, how do you get to that point?

Because I know some people listening right now. We all have a lot of us have a great relationship with food, right? You know, there are things we love and we say we love so-and-so. I love this food. I love that food. I love seafood. I love banana pudding.

I love blackberry cobbler, which I had some for Father's Day this past weekend. I wasn't tripping because again, there's a way to do some of these things, but to do them at the right time and at the right place. But as far as the eating plan goes, I believe God's eating plan is the best plan for our health. Now, over the past two years, I'm a testimony of what that eating plan looks like, right? Now, I don't eat Genesis 1 29 a hundred percent of the time. But it's a hundred percent of my eating plan.

What do I mean by that? Yes, about 75 to 80 percent of what I eat is straight Genesis 1 29. And over the past two years of blood pressure and not that it was high was borderline, but it's the best it's ever been that I can remember, right? Cholesterol, you know, all the markers that are that are out there by eating this way. One of the key benefits that I didn't even think about, and this is one of the things that changes probably the fastest because our cells generally, generally will replace themselves every seven years where you get a new everything in seven years. Now, whether that whatever it is, your organs and everything else, whether they actually end up being new will depend on what you're building those cells with. So now if you're building those cells with, you know, foods that are nourishing you, that you're getting the absolute best out of those foods and it's feeding your body, what it absolutely needs to build strong and healthy cells, then that's what happened with your organs.

That's what happens with you with your eyes. I mean, all of that stuff. I mean, it's crucial. So really, you can eat your way to health. As a matter of fact, the father of modern medicine, Hippocrates, he said it, you know, 400 B.C. He said, Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.

See, he understood it back then. It's all about what you eat. So when we start talking about replenishing the cells and everything, you know, I had people coming up to me. I mean, they hadn't seen me in a while. And they would just comment on how good my skin looked. And I was like, OK, I hadn't really thought about that because that's one of the things. Your skin is replacing itself every, you know, every couple of days. Your skin is shedding.

You're getting new skin. And that's the biggest organ in our bodies, our skin. And so eating that way was like immediately affecting my skin. And I had noticed and people started mentioning that to me. And then, you know, my wife always comment to her how beautiful her skin is. And so I mean, I look in the mirror, I'm like, oh, my goodness. This dude is beautiful.

No, I'm just kidding. But I would say, oh, man, my skin really has changed. And even when I look at it now, I mean, it's it's changed. But the thing is, it's going to remain that way because I'm never going back to eating that processed stuff. But it's not so much about me eating the processed stuff as it is me eating from Genesis 129, where fruits and vegetables and nuts and seeds and all of those things.

That's the primary source of my intake of food. So now when we come back, we're going to get into the rest of this, because, again, there's a way to go on this journey of eating Genesis 129 and sticking with it where it's a lifestyle. And I want to get into that a little bit when we come back from break. So you all just stick tight.

Right. So, you know, I was talking about, you know, how God shared with me. You know, what I was doing, what I needed to change as far as, you know, how I was eating, even though there was a lot of things I wasn't eating, living a pretty healthy lifestyle, but not according to Genesis 1 29. So over the past almost two years, that has been my focus as far as eating. And that's also what I've been teaching in my classes.

As a matter of fact, you know, I had just had a class that finish up on Sunday. And it was kind of amazing the feedback from the students in the class, because one of the things one of the young ladies in the class after about three weeks in the class, the thing that she noticed most was her skin. Her skin had changed. Right. And it's amazing how, you know, something you think you don't really think about it because when you think about skincare, you know, we're thinking about different brands, you know, whether it's whether it's I don't know all of them out there, but you know, the skincare brands that you use to beautify and look better and those kind of things.

Well, the beauty of this is Genesis 1 29. It can also be your skincare program. Right. Because if you're eating and you're putting the right things in your body and nourishing those cells, when that skin dies and replenishes itself, it's coming back vibrant, beautiful, flawless.

Right. The only thing I do is put water on my face and that's that's pretty much it. But, you know, again, I'm not in any beauty pageants, but I'm just saying your skin will look different.

You know, not just for the ladies out there, but for the guys out there as well. That's one of the benefits of eating Genesis 129. Now, some of the other things that came back from the class as it relates to God's eating plan is one young lady said, you know, I think this may be one of the first times in my life. That I'm at peace with food.

Now, I want you all to get that right. I want you all to get that now in a few weeks and maybe next week, we're having, you know, behavior health specialists, one of our sponsors, she's going to be back in the studio with us and we're going to talk about emotional eating and how that affects a lot of people. But Genesis 129, you know, really helped her to be at peace with food. Because, again, as I mentioned, I eat this way 75 to 80 percent of the time. So it's not, you know, that you that you're eating this way all the time, that you're not getting to eat those things you love and the things you love to eat. Because, again, as I mentioned, we have different relationships with food. Food is relational. I mean, we even have relationships through food. We go meet people for lunch. We meet them for dinner. We dine with people and we have a good time.

And that's OK. But what God's eating plan does, it helps to put food in its proper place. And then the other thing that happens as well is that once you're eating this way on a consistent basis, I promise you this, your energy level is different.

Right? Your energy level is different. You know, I don't have to tell you, but that's one of the things also that each person in the class came back with was the energy level is just different.

It's night and day difference. How you feel now when you eat something, you can almost immediately or shortly thereafter know what your body got from it, from an energy standpoint. What kind of transfer took place? Right? Did what I eat give me energy? Did it sustain my energy or did it take energy from me? Now, that's something to be mindful of, because when you're eating, I want you to think about that. And I see, you know, like a few minutes after, yeah, you can do the energy drinks and stuff like that and get a bolt of energy, you know, immediately and sugar highs and things like that. But then also there's such things as sugar crashes.

Right? Because as you know, the old saying goes, what goes up must come down if it's going up the wrong way, which those sugary energy drinks, that's the wrong way to go up. But that sustained energy that you get from eating according to God's plan is different. You feel it is different. Now, when I originally gave my life to Christ and the Lord ministered me around the health area and what was going to happen. And one of the things He put in my spirit that I was going to be, you know, in as good a health and shape as I was when I was 19. And I was 33 at the time. And I went through the plan and did what He put in my spirit to do. And lo and behold, that's pretty much where I ended up.

And, you know, I was doing a lot of working out and stuff like that as well. But this time around 30 years later, I can 100 percent say that my sustained energy level. The vital energy that I'm getting from eating 75 to 80 percent of the time from Genesis 1 29. There's no comparison.

There is absolutely no comparison. So this is one of the things that why I'm so passionate about this, too, is because as people of God, I want us all to experience. God's kind of health and energy from the food that He designed for us to eat because He knew that would give us the vital energy to to carry out the mission. See, in your life is God's mission. Here in the earth. So listen, I'm giving you, you know, the information there. God's eating plan.

Genesis 1 29. Now, you can get more information about this. I have the workbook, the manual. Five, the number five, And that'll take you to a site where you can download a workbook. That will allow you to go through this information on your own time, process it, pray about it, meditate on it and really let it speak to you and help if you're on a journey, you know, to better your health. It will help you to do that.

So that's my prayer for you out there is that you experience God's plan for your health, which is his best plan.

Right. It's his best plan. And that's his plan for your health.
