The Book of Revelation reveals the person of Jesus Christ, who is the king of the new heaven and new earth. He makes two proclamations: 'Behold, I make all things new' and 'It is done.' The citizens of the kingdom have two essential characteristics: they have received Christ and have overcome the temptation to forsake Him. Those who are not subjects of the king are identified as the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and liars, who will be cast into the lake of fire.
