Living a life of holiness and righteousness in an ungodly world requires controlling one's thoughts. According to the Bible, our actions are the result of our thoughts, and we will always act out the way we see ourselves. To control our thinking, we must understand our position in Christ, which includes being crucified with Him, buried with Him, risen with Him, seated with Him, hidden with Him, and coming again with Him. This relationship with Christ gives us the power to seek the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God, and to live godly in an ungodly world.
