The Bible commands Christians to love one another, submit to one another, and forbear with one another. This love is not optional, but it's not automatic either. It requires a new quality of love, seeking opportunity to do good to others even when they don't deserve it. The church is a body where members must submit to one another, care for one another, and forgive one another. By doing so, the church can become a little colony of heaven, a place where love, reception, greeting, submission, forbearance, confession, and forgiveness are practiced.
