As Christians, we are called to endure suffering in a world that is not our home, but we can do so with purpose and honor, following the example of Christ who suffered willingly and honorably for our sake. We are to submit to authorities, even when they are unjust, and to live as servants of God, honoring everyone and fearing God. Our suffering is meant to refine us and make us more like Christ, and we can find healing in the suffering of Christ, not just physical healing but soul healing. We are to suffer well, aiming to glorify God through our aches, pains, and sickness, and to trust in God's sovereignty and goodness, even in the midst of suffering.
