So go ahead and take her away, Ken. Donald Trump is incurring a lot of criticism lately on the Ukrainian war. He's trying to negotiate an end to the war. Remember, there's probably somewhere around 1.5 million dead, wounded, missing, and captured on both sides together.
That is the largest casualty figure total since the Battle of Stalingrad. In his Art of the Deal style, he said some things the last week that got people very angry. He said that Zelensky was a dictator and that he had, quote, should have stopped the war and never started it. We know that Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine on February 24th of 2022. So why did Donald Trump say that?
Hello, this is Victor Davis Hanson for The Daily Signal. Donald Trump is incurring a lot of criticism lately on the Ukrainian war. He's trying to negotiate an end to the war. Remember, there's probably somewhere around 1.5 million dead, wounded, missing, and captured on both sides together.
That is the largest casualty rate figure total since in Europe, since the Battle of Stalingrad in 1942 and 1943. In his Art of the Deal style, he came in and he said some things the last week that got people very angry. I'll just give you two examples. He said that Zelensky was a dictator and that he had, quote, should have stopped the war and never started it. That got people anguished because we know that Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine on February 24th of 2022.
So why did Donald Trump say that? Well, of course, he doesn't believe that Zelensky started the war because he has campaigned himself on the following narrative. Under George Bush in 2008, Russia invaded Ossetia in Georgia. In 2014, under the Obama administration, they invaded the Donbas and Crimea.
On February 24th of 2022, under Joe Biden, they tried to take Kiev. However, of the last four administrations, there was one in which they did not leave their borders to invade another nation, my administration. Why? Because unlike the prior three presidents, I was able to establish deterrence. And how did I do that? I killed Soleimaniak. I killed Baghdadi. I destroyed ISIS.
I got rid of the Wagner. I did a lot of things that put the fear of God into Vladimir Putin. So Trump knows who started this war. So why did he say it?
I think he's retracted it now. He said, I didn't mean it that way. What he's trying to say is that this war has been going on for three years. And the Europeans said they were going to come in and this exultation when the Russian attack on Kiev was thwarted.
This guy in a t-shirt, ex comedian, was a rock star. Everybody was going to pour weapons in and save Ukraine. We did more than either any European power or NATO and aggregate. And guess what?
It didn't work. Three years later, 1.5 million casualties later, a quarter of the Ukrainian population gone, 600,000 Russians gone, a new alliance between Russia and China. Trump wants to stop it.
And he says to Zelensky, don't tell me what I can do and what I can't do. Don't say you have to be in the negotiations. You guys have had three years. I'm coming in. We have funded you.
So here's what's going to happen. You are a dictator. Now that is an excessive term, but on the other hand, Zelensky has canceled opposition parties, suppressed opposition press, suspended elements of habeas corpus and suspended elections. Now, some people on the right and left said, well, even Churchill didn't have election for 10 years. Churchill came in and the first thing he did in 1940 was have a coalition government of enemies, rivals, and friends in the war cabinet.
Zelensky hasn't done that. So in some ways, yes, he is an authoritarian. The other thing he's been criticized as he says, we want natural resources and minerals. They said, he's a colonialist. He's an imperialist.
No, Donald Trump is saying that the United States is very tired of subsidizing and paying for far distant problems when we're running a $37 trillion national debt. This war was on the border of Europe. They said they were going to invest 2% of their GDP as NATO powers in defense.
They didn't do it. We have outfunded all of them. And yet we are very distant with an open border ourselves. If we want to be there, we want some compensation. You have valuable minerals, we'll come in and have a concession with you, a business deal.
But more importantly, there's a subtext to this. He's also saying, we don't want you in NATO. Europe really doesn't want you in NATO. Russia doesn't want you in NATO. And you're scared to be in NATO yourself. So this is what's going to happen. If you invite American business in to Ukraine to help rebuild it and to profit thereby with natural resources, you're going to have Americans there and Putin will be less eager to attack you if he understands there's a thriving American concession there. Where are we then?
What is the solution? Donald Trump is saying what we all know is going to happen. Number one, they're not going to be in NATO, but guess what?
They're going to be better armed and better fighters than any of the 32 countries in NATO. Vladimir Putin knows that. Number two, nobody ever said they were going to get back the Donbas nor Crimea.
That's not going to happen. No president said we're going to give you the military wherewithal to reclaim it. Number three, if we have a negotiated settlement, the hinge, the critical point will be can Donald Trump put Putin back where he was before he invaded this time? Can he go back to February 23rd of 2022 and Trump will tell him, you're not going to be worried about Ukraine.
It's not going to be in NATO. You can go tell all of your friends that you institutionalized the acquisition of Crimea and the Donbas, but we would like you to re-enter the family of nations. We would like you to be able to sell and buy things if we drop sanctions.
But for us to do that, it would be wise for you to go back and we'll make a Korea like DMZ. And that is the negotiation that's transpiring right now. If Donald Trump ends this bloodbath, all of this rhetoric and all of this hysteria will cease and he will be a hero both in Europe and the United States and in Ukraine and Russia. And final note, he was criticized by how dare you talk to a dictator. Vladimir Putin is a dictator and he's a violent dictator and he's a corrupt dictator and he's an aggressive dictator. But compared to Joseph Stalin who killed 20 million of his own people, he's an amateur.
We had a formal alliance with the Soviet Union because they were the enemy of the enemy of our enemy, Nazi Germany. Richard Nixon talked to Mao Zedong to try to play him off against the Soviets. Mao Zedong was the greatest mass murderer in history.
He killed 70 million people. There's a long history of real politic, of talking to odious dictators if it's in the U.S. interest and it lessens the chance of war. This is Victor Davis Hanson for the Daily Signal.
All righty, we're back and well, you know, we'll see. You know, Trump is a strategist and he's quite a strategist. Now things, the opposition is going to get, folks, it's not going to be smooth sailing at all.
They're going to be coming after Trump and with everything they have. Again, the deep state, we've got to stand by him. Pray for his protection.
Yeah. And yielding to the Lord's wisdom. Well this is what he must do. He must try to surround himself with wise counselors and some of his counselors aren't the wisest ones he's picked out there and that needs to change. Then he's got to realize too, he's got to be very cognizant.
I think he realizes this. Remember, Trump wasn't sitting on his laurels for those four years that he was out of office. That election was stolen and everyone knows it.
Anyone and everyone that says it wasn't stolen is a liar and there's no truth in them. I mean, you know, we had stacks and stacks and stacks of evidence that the election was stolen. And of course, you know, more of this is even coming out now. But he's got to be very cognizant of who's around him. Remember, all those betrayers within people that they wanted Trump and they wanted this, they wanted that, they wanted a position and they didn't get it until they turned on him. Okay?
And so he's got to be ready. Now here's a list. This is put out by 24-7 Politics. And in 24-7 Politics, they believe that they know who the seven politicians that are most likely to turn on Trump are.
Okay? And so they start with the top four senators. Well, these are nothing new.
We all knew this ourselves. They start with Mitch McConnell, whose foreign policy views are much more akin to those of the war-among-the-neocons like John McCain and Donald Trump's America. Then they are with Donald Trump's America's first position. Shown by the opposition to Pete Hegskid's confirmation of Secretary of Defense, he repeatedly criticized Trump's foreign policy, his isolationist.
That's the course. That's Mitch McConnell. We knew that from the beginning. Then Senator Lisa Murkowski. She's been a Democrat.
I mean, she's not a... She's been a rhino. She's always voted with the Democrats. Lisa Murkowski has reportedly demonstrated her willingness to oppose President Trump's agenda, opposing Hegskid's confirmation of Secretary of Defense. And, you know, all of what Trump wants, she's opposed to. Same thing with Senator Susan Collins for Maine. So, I mean, these are obvious things we knew.
But now here's some that you might not... I knew that I never trusted him, and that's Lindsey Graham. Now, his presence on this list may come as a surprise to some readers, but a close examination of his voting record. Now, Lindsey Graham's always been a big part of that military industrial complex group.
Record past position shows he's highly likely to betray Trump when the rubber meets the road. Most recently, he criticized President Trump's pardon of January 6th political prisoners. He opposed Trump's withdrawing security details from former officials like Mike Pompeo and John Bolton.
There you go. Those were two that turned on Trump. They didn't get exactly what they wanted from Trump. And so they turned on him, especially Bolton. And he's been a steadfast advocate for more funding of the war in Ukraine. That's Lindsey Graham, right? Yeah. Now, he came out and praised Trump and Vance for the way they handled Zelensky on Friday.
Yeah, I know that. Which was shocking. I couldn't believe it. I was like, wait, is this Lindsey Graham? That is Lindsey Graham. Are you kidding me?
Really? Because he's been all about sending money over to Ukraine. He's been for that war since before it started. Yeah, I know that. Did Zelensky commit to the minerals for America?
No, that's all been shut down for now. So it's flip-flopping? Yeah. They actually had a deal. The deal was they agreed upon it.
It was all set. This was supposed simply to be a press conference. They were just going to show it. They were going to shake hands, sign it. It was going to be a signing there. But Zelensky, the Democrats got to Zelensky. And it was a double-cross, a big double-cross right there. Something about like ten of the Senators met with him before he met with the White House.
Could have been, yeah. And then those in the Congress. Now, this one might shock you a little bit here for those in the Congress, but House Speaker Mike Johnson.
People don't trust him, okay? MAGA, Mike Johnson's presence on this list also may surprise some readers. But again, a careful examination of what he's actually done as the Speaker of the House versus what he said reviews his priorities much more closely aligned with the preserving the status quo in Washington, D.C. swamp.
He relied on Democratic votes to pass spending bills twice in 2024 and shows an inability to unite House Republicans in pursuit of implementing Trump's first America agenda. And then this one, this one was obvious. I would have known this myself. Representative Dan Crenshaw of Texas. He's been a rhino for a long time. He's, you never could trust that guy. He was caught, did you see the, I can't remember who he was doing an interview with, but there was a hot mic and someone asked him, the guy asked him if he ever met Tucker Carlson. He said he would kill him if he ever saw him.
Huh. This guy here, Chris Smith, this surprises me because, you know, of course he was a real pro-life advocate, Chris Smith, is another warmongering rhino who has opposed President Trump's America first agenda on foreign policy and funding of international organizations. He supported, his support for foreign aid puts him at odds with the President and on domestic policy. Smith supports big government spending bills on issues like health care, education and social programs. And then the last one, Representative Don Beacon.
Don Beacon represents a purple district around Omaha. He's a supporter of amnesty and pathways to citizenship for illegal aliens. He voted for spending measures more in line with the priorities of the Democrats. And like others on this list, he generally opposed President Trump's America first approach toward foreign policy.
So there you go. Those were the seven that politics 24-7 said watch out for. They're the ones that, and that's what Trump really has to watch, you know.
Well, and it's not just them though. We need to be keeping an eye on all of these senators and all of these congressmen and women because when midterms come around, we need to know who we need to primary and who we need to get out of there. So we've got to pay attention to all of it.
Just because Trump's in office now doesn't mean the fight's over. We must petition our elected officials. It's our duty.
This is what the Bible-believing church needs to do. This is how you get lasting change. Remember, Roosevelt served three terms and Trump keeps pulling their chain. He's just doing this to put, to send panic into the Democratic Party out to the Communist Party by saying that, you know, he might be in for a third term, but he keeps dropping that out there. Now look, look.
You know what? If Trump was 10 or 20 years younger, I might say maybe. But Trump, no. What age is he now? He's 78 years old. Okay. So that puts him at 82 when he starts. Right.
So another term would be, he would be 86. No, no. If that was the plan, you don't have J.D. Vance as your vice president.
J.D. Vance is the heir apparent, you know? Oh, absolutely. And he has been fantastic. Oh, yeah.
I love watching him talk. Well, if Trump's mentally solid. Well, he can always be an advisor. No, I mean, so as of right now, we got two terms because of an amendment, right? Yeah. But I mean, he's, look, if you were his age, would you want to be putting up with that? He's just doing that. He is playing with their heads just like, you know, because of what they did to him, you know, and what he did to his family. Do you approve of what's happened in the last month and a half?
It's been unbelievably awesome as far as purging all this wickedness. So if he's mentally solid, why not have eight more years? Yeah, I understand what you're saying, but I don't think you're going to get the eight years that you think you're going to get because, I mean, look at the decline of Biden in just the last four years. Now, Trump's not Biden, but... I think Hussein, Obama, and whoever the power brokers were that put him in power because they despise America so much, purposely put him in power as a show of disdain and hostility and anger and hatred toward our beliefs. No, he was a puppet. He was a puppet. Anyone with half a brain knows that or can look at everything and see that Obama's third term was during Biden's first term.
Yeah. Let me ask you... He's the only former president to live within, like, walking distance of the White House.
Come on. How old was Reagan when his term ended? Why don't you Google that and see? Because, you know, again, like I said, Trump is going to be, when his term ends... He'll be older than Biden was when his term ended. Yeah, but I mean, what about the oldest president I think was Reagan?
I think Reagan was the oldest president in the White House at the time when his term ended. And so I wonder if we'll find out how old he was here in a minute. But, anyhow, you know what we did? We forgot to start the program up with this. And I got a letter here. And the letter says, to whom may concern, I don't know this will get to you by Monday, today.
I just heard Pastor Ernie tonight. And we'll mail it tomorrow. I'm so sorry if he doesn't get to what's right, what's left on time. Could you please pray for a baby who was born about four to six weeks ago and has heart defects and is going to need heart operations. Her name is Fedora Josetta. Thank you all so much, Mayor Anathe.
So, let's take a second and do that. Let's just pray. Heavenly Father of God, I don't know the person who wrote this letter, but here, as far as little Fedora Josetta, we just want to hold her up to you. We know, Lord God, that you love the little children.
You really love the little children. We ask Father God that you would intercede on behalf of her. Father God, that you might touch her, might heal her.
Lord, as far as she goes, your perfect will be done with Fedora Josetta. This we ask in Jesus' name. And whoever sent me this letter, there's no name on it.
I just thank you for sending me this letter. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Amen.
They probably had their name on the envelope and everything, but I was just handed the letter. Reagan was 78 when he left office. Oh my gosh. And Trump is 78 now. Trump's 78 now? Yeah. So that puts him at 82. Oh my gosh.
Yeah. Well, he's sharp. And if you had four more years, he'd be 86 by the time he left office if you added another term after this one. That's not realistic. It's all based on... How old was Reagan when he died? Um, hold on, let me go back. Well, what's the, so why did they limit, why did they choose to limit it to three?
Here you go. Ronald Reagan was 77 years old, 349 days, so he was almost 78. It's individual based. It should be across the board for every elected office. If they're not mentally fit, they shouldn't be able to run for office. Well, you know, some people, you know, are 70 going on 30.
Others are just the opposite. Well, that's what I mean. Reagan was 93 when he died. 93, yeah.
If you're still mentally strong, it doesn't really matter what age, if you can do the job competently. Yeah. All right.
Well, very good. Thanks, Hal. Pastor Hal sent me this.
God bless you, Hal. Yep. Anyhow, there you go. All right. Now, I want to find out, tell me more about Jessica Watkins, J6 here. Oh, yes. Get it done.
All right. Another story of corruption by the Biden regime. Jessica Watkins.
This is a Gateway Pundit article. Jessica Watkins opens up about horrendous abuse by the Biden regime, including being stripped naked for days, assaulted by prison guards, and a mysterious witness who appeared at her trial. Jessica Watkins is a US veteran and recently released American political prisoner who was charged with a litany of offenses after she walked into the US Capitol on January 6th, 2021, assisted police, and left the building 23 minutes later. Jessica is part of the Oath Keepers organization. Jessica was arrested January 2021. During her torture while she was confined, Jessica was stripped naked and left in a cell with lights on for 24 hours a day for four days. Jessica also suffered physical abuse by the guards while she served time in prison. Jessica, a US veteran, was found guilty in November of crimes she never committed. The corrupt DC judge would not allow Jessica or her fellow defendants to cross-examine the fraudulent Fed informants who lied about her during the trial. The DOJ is a vicious security arm of the Democrat party and Jessica was another victim of the Biden regime.
So there you go as far as this was from today, March 3rd. Absolutely disgusting. I hope he goes after these people. I know that a lot of the J-6ers are, you know, they're filing lawsuits against these people and they need to go after, you know, they need to go after all of those on that, the J-6 committee. Yep. Okay, J-6 committee. All of them.
All of them. Yeah. And also the prison, those running the prisons or anyone and everyone involved, those torturing them unjustly. The mayor of DC, and they need to go after, and those judges, those are corrupt, corrupt, corrupt judges.
Yeah. May God deal with all these people appropriately. It's like the one here in Ohio, that wicked, evil, ungodly woman who judge ruled that you can take the babies, even though we have a law in Ohio that says that the bodies of the babies that were murdered in these bloody whorehouses of death called abortion mills had to be either cremated or buried. But that wicked, ungodly, unclean, evil, wicked judge says, no, that's an expense you don't want to put on the abortion mills.
Let them throw them in the landfill, the dumps. That's a wicked woman. She needs Jesus. Yeah, well, yep, absolutely. And so, anyhow, first cabinet meeting that Trump had opened how? Oh, yes. Another, some more good news for Christian support in American government is Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Scott Turner, opens cabinet meeting and prayer. I've got that.
Do you want to hear it? Yeah, we do. We do.
We do. All right. Here it is.
You say grace, and they want to love our meeting, right? Thank you very much. Thank you, Mr. President. Let's pray. Father, we thank you for this awesome privilege, Father, to be in your presence. God, thank you that you've allowed us to see this day. The Bible says that in the name of Jesus, we see this day.
The Bible says that your mercies are new every morning. And, Father, God, we give you the glory and the honor. Thank you, God, for President Trump, Father, for appointing us. Father, God, thank you for anointing us to do this job. Father, we pray you will give the President, the Vice President wisdom. Father, God, as they lead, Father, I pray for all of our colleagues that are here around the table and in this room. Lord God, we pray that we would lead with a righteous clarity. Father God, as we serve the people of this country in every perspective, agency, every job that we have, Father, we would humble ourselves before you, and we would lead in a manner that you've called us to lead and to serve. Father, the Bible says that blessed is a nation whose God is the Lord. Well, Father, we today honor you, and in your rightful place, Father, thank you for giving us this opportunity to restore faith in this country and be a blessing to the people of America. And, Lord God, today in our meeting we pray that you will be glorified in our conversation. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen.
Very good. We'll be back right after this. I hear that train a-coming.
It's coming around the bend. That train, it's called judgment, and it's here because of sin. You made the wrong decision. Yes, you rejected Christ.
Now that train is arriving, and it's a terrifying sight. There is no use in running. There is no place to go. Now you know you're hurt. You're reaping what you sowed. You turned your back on Jesus. Didn't care why he died. But now you're really caring.
Just listen to you cry. I see those lost folks dying. It's happening near and far. They're waiting now for judgment, and their sin's as black as tar. You know you had it coming. You know you can't be free.
It's a horrible place to be in, such torment and misery. Now call on the name of Jesus. Do it while there's time. He's your only hope now. You're at the end of the line. You may not see tomorrow. Your time is running out. Once you're in that hellfire, there ain't no getting out.
Alrighty, we're back. And you know, it seems like Mr. Trudeau there in Canada has had a change of heart when it comes to the drug cartels as being terrorists. There's five families that I know of there in Mexico. Basically, you know, they're a government within the government in Mexico. But the interesting thing is now, just recently, the Mexican government has shipped a couple dozen of the big boys in the drug cartel here to stand trial in the United States. So I'm wondering how that works, because the money is so big there in Mexico, I wouldn't be a bit surprised. In fact, I'd be surprised if it didn't happen, if some of the wealthier cartels were not paying the Mexican government to ship their competition out.
What do you think about that, their kin? I think it's fantastic that Mexico was actually doing something, finally. And if Trudeau is going to actually do things as well, great. We'll see. Yeah, he says, well, Canada now is going to go along and they're going to, again, proclaim that these drug cartels are terrorists, they're going to go along with Trump.
You know what that means, don't you? That means it gives the United States, it gives Trump's people permission to go into Canada and go after them. And so, like, they're going to be going into Mexico now. Right now, the cartels are shaking in their boots because they're worried about that, you know, we have the special forces unit, that's all they do training to go after terrorists. And so, the terrorists now are, they're going to find out it's going to be a lot more risky to be a terrorist than it was in the past. Yeah, they're going to be on that F.O. part of the F.A.F.O.
If you fool around, you're going to find out. Yep. And so, we'll see what happens, but we know that Trump, uh, we've got to keep him in prayer because the drug cartels, you know. He's making a lot of enemies. There's a long line of people that want a piece of Donald Trump.
Yeah, there is. Pastor Hal's trying to call in. He wants to call in tonight and he's going to give it. So, Pastor Hal, if you're listening, call in again and so we'll put you right up. We're going to let you give. He does a good job giving the invitation, doesn't he?
And so, you know, his parents never expected much of him, but he surprised them. No, he didn't. Wait, what? You're talking about me? No. Oh. Well, I might put you in there, too. Oh, okay.
I was answering the phone. Pastor Hal, we do have him, so. Alrighty, uh, and, uh, I used to kid Pastor Hal.
I'd say, you know, your parents never expected much out of you and you didn't disappoint them. And then, uh, and then Pastor Hal would throw something at you, you know. Alright. Well, I caught the second half of that and I just assumed you were talking about me. Yeah. Well, you know, we have a lot of fun, you know, a lot of times just kidding each other.
And when you get our age, there's not much else you could do. And so, anyhow, that's why, that's why we only have men in the chili cook-off. Did you know that? That only men compete for two reasons.
How? You know, because it's not about the beef in the kitchen, it's the bull that's in the kitchen. It's the bragging rights, right? And because of the bragging rights, first of all, uh, the women can't take the jokes that, that we take, you know, they, they, they don't really fare well with, with ugly jokes.
There's a whole lot of ugly jokes going on. And so, but, but even the other reason, and this was the most important reason we don't allow women to cook is because they might win. That's the real reason. That's right. So we should give a, you know, level that playing field. What do you think, Pastor? Should we give a advertisement commercial for the Cooking for Life event in April?
Yeah, you could do that. It would be, if we let the women cook, it would be just like letting men, uh, play in women's sports, huh? Yeah, my gosh. Well, so everyone listening that lives near Geauga County, we are having our right to, Geauga County right to life fundraiser, April 26th. It's a Saturday from 12 PM to 6 PM. We will have 10 chefs. You will, uh, be able to vote on your favorite chili dishes. Um, the costs are $15 for ages 12 and older.
Married couples is 25. Ages six to 12 is $7 and children under six years get free, get to eat for free. You also, part of your ticket is a salad and dessert.
And you get to try Pastor Sanders. Are you going to cook two dishes? Okay. Uh, let me, let me think about that. Okay.
I'm going to have to take, it takes a lot of time. Remember? Oh, you haven't committed yet. You get 14. Uh, I thought you're one of the chefs I could do. Well, you keep saying that I want to, well, I want to compete against you. I've, I've won it.
I've won it 14 times over the years. You know, we, we did this for over 27 years. And so how's one of the chefs. Yeah. I mean, at some point Tom Brady had to retire. Yeah. Well, you got to give other people a chance to win.
Hal would have won except for he ate all of his chili when he was finished cooking. No, but, uh, yeah. Okay. I'll do it. I'll do it. I'll cook. It's going to take me, uh, I'm not, I'm not as quick at the cooking as I used to be, but, um, when it comes to the bragging rights and the bull in the kitchen, I can still do it.
Well, you don't win 14 trophies for nothing. I know. We had to, but I hope to beat you. It was well, good luck. My son did.
He, he, he, uh, meet me three times over the years. He's going to be cooking too. That'll be one of the chefs. Yeah. It's going to be a good time audience. And it's a, for a good cause fighting to protect and save the babies.
Bless God. That's what we got to do. Those communist socialist Democrats pushed that issue one in 2023, and they pretty much devastated the pro-life legislation in Ohio. So we got to take back every piece of land possible and legislation and, uh, efforts to restore protecting.
We, right. We, we have to get, um, we need a new amendment, but it costs money. Personhood amendment, a personhood that you're from conception. That's a new amendment.
From conception. That's what it is. You know, where we get that right from God's word, the Bible right here.
That's where we get to. That's your unalienable right of life. Absolutely. The, uh, the founders understood it.
The declaration of independence. The very first thing, the right to life, the very first word, right. Okay. And so listen, these babies that are conceived, a woman has never given birth to anything other than another baby than a human being. Right.
And so folks, we have to, and they're either male or female. Yeah. And you know what, see God throughout the Bible, we see the God brought the harshest, harshest judgment on people for killing their children.
The harshest. Okay. And God, you know, America, our sewers have run red from coast to coast with the blood of the innocent and people act like, well, we're not, we're not going to call it murder.
We're going to make it legal. Therefore it's okay. And, and you have people that are professing Christians and just unbelievable. Uh, you cannot possibly be a Christian and be a pro-abortion, you know, I heard Jane Fonda, Jane Fonda said that now that she knows that you can be pro-abortion and be a Christian, that she's going to, she's a Christian now.
That's the mindset of the Democrats. You know, what's helpful is showing them the pictures of the aborted children. You can't, uh, dismiss a obvious human body in whatever week it is. That's a human being. That's what, it's completely innocent.
And I think those have, those images give a grade. Do you know what happens to you north of the border in Canada for doing that? You go to jail, you go to prison. We've had people there, the very same literature that we handed out at the bloody abortion mills, the very same, the folks there, brothers and sisters in Christ in Canada, went to prison for handing out. Wow. When did that start? Oh, that's been that way for a while, for years. So you can't expose the truth. Right.
Well, not just Canada, but you have the same thing in Britain. Okay. And so, in fact, in Germany now, if you were to show some of these people, uh, the pictures of the aborted baby and offended them, they were offended, that's a crime.
And so you go to, you get arrested and you go to jail for that. Okay. Yeah. Well, what if you're offended by their abortion?
Do they go to jail? You see how that never works both ways? Yeah. Yeah. Well, the hope is we got to reach to people's reason and just critically think that the bottom line is the child is innocent. The... We got to get back to calling it a child.
That's the problem. These people don't even, they don't even associate it with a child. They try to use different terminology so it doesn't sound like they're actually killing a baby.
The language of illusion, confusion, and delusion. Okay. This is where, you know, we, I did sermons on that years and years ago, 50 years ago, when they came out with a product of conception, instead of calling it a child, a baby, they called it a product of conception. Okay. Instead of calling it murder, they called it termination.
Okay. Instead of calling, being pro-death, they called themselves pro-choice. Did you ever know any child that ever chose to have his little heart ripped out while he was alive? That's the language of illusion and confusion and what they, they don't know. And, you know, we have a, you have one of the clips that we were going to play tonight, we'll probably play tomorrow night, about that woman who, she went into the bloody abortion mill, she saw the little, what do you call it, the image of her baby in her womb.
Ultrasound. Ultrasound, and then she, she was thinking how that made her happy, but then she was there to kill the baby, that's why she went there, so they let her, convinced, she took the pill, and it almost killed her. Well, you know, here's what people don't understand in this society, and even in the pro-life movement, most of them don't have the medal to come right out and say, God's word, the Bible is very clear, it doesn't stutter. It says that when you kill that child, you deserve to die, and you're unrepentant to burn in hell. And that's murder.
You can call it, whether it's legal or not, it's not lawful. And it's murder. And that's what God's word, the Bible, is very, very clear at. And so, well... Another good aspect of Hope of Change is educating people that many parents can't have children and just adopt the child. Well, for every single child that's up for adoption, you have 32 couples. 32 couples trying to adopt it, and I think about that, okay, for every single child. There you go.
Yeah, there you go. You can choose life and not murder the child. But, but anyhow, it's, that's, that's an evil under the sun. But Pastor Hal's not evil. He's not pretty, but he's not evil. But he knows how to give an invitation and tell you how you can avoid that burning lake of fire.
Do it. Well, you know, like in Psalm 16, King David said, I have set the Lord always before me, because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. And then, a little past that, he says, that will show me the path of life, and thy presence is fullness of joy, at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore. That tells us right there, if somebody wants happiness out of life, it's being, having your life lined up with the Lord Jesus Christ, with his will, and living for him. Because when you get out into sin, sin brings misery, sin brings torment, and the worst thing that could happen to you is to die in your sin and end up going to hell for all eternity, because there's no second chances after you die.
There's no purgatory, which is some unscriptural razzmatazz that, you know, a counterfeit system brings up. The Bible says it's appointed unto man once to die and after death to judgment. So Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No man comes to the Father but by me. When Jesus died on that cross, the Bible says that Jesus transferred your guilt and mine upon his son. God transferred our guilt upon Jesus. So when Jesus said it is finished right before he died, he was telling us that God has approved everything he did for us on that cross as payment in full for every sin you and I have ever done.
In full, in payment in full. And that's why Jesus said he's the only one that can pay our sin for us. Ephesians 1 says, in whom we have redemption through his blood. So redemption from hell is through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. It's not through your good works, it's not through your church membership, it's not through anything but the blood of Jesus. Now God hears me talking to you right now, and God knows what's going through your mind and through your heart right now. John 1 12 said, but as many as received him that then gave he the power to become the sons of God.
And here's the biggest thing right here. Ephesians 2 8 and 9 says, for by grace that means freely are you saved, that means saved from hell through faith. And not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. All my life growing up in a Lutheran church, and like most people in these mainline churches, they think their good works is going to get them to heaven. If their good works out balance their bad works.
But that don't work that way. If you could quit sinning right now and never sin again the rest of your life, which would be impossible, just the sins you've already done would keep you out of heaven. So if the story ends right there, we're all in bad shape. But the good news is that when Jesus died on that cross, he paid the penalty for our sins, so when we receive the payment he paid for us as a free gift, we can have eternal life right then and there. That's when he comes into our heart and gives to us the payment he paid in our place on that cross.
It makes us a new creature in Christ, washes away our sins, and saves our souls from hell. If you want that, if you feel like your life is going nowhere, and it probably is if you don't have Jesus, and yet you're feeling miserable and there's something that's missing, you know something's missing, that's not a thing that's missing, that's a person, it's the Lord Jesus Christ. Ask him to come into your heart right now. He's knocking at the door of your heart right now. In Romans 10, 13 says, for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. That means if you believe in your heart, Jesus died on the cross and shed his blood to save your soul, and you ask him to come into your heart in simple childlike faith, being sorry about the fact you're a sinner.
God wants to see repentance there. If you're sorry about the fact you're a sinner, and you want to receive Jesus in your heart as your Savior, he'll come in right now. So what do you say we say a simple prayer together? My job as a preacher is to lead people to Jesus. And if you want to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, you can do it right now in a simple prayer. Let's pray together, but even though we're praying together, it's directly between you and God. Dear God, I confess unto you that I've sinned against thee and thought word and deed. And Lord, I believe that you died on that cross and shed your precious blood to wash away my sins and save my soul from hell. And Lord Jesus, right now I ask you to come into my heart. Give to me the payments you paid for me on that cross. Give me eternal life and a home in heaven. In Jesus' name, I pray this.
Amen. Now folks, like I say every time I pray these prayers, if you prayed that and meant it, 1 John 5-13 says, These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God. And that believe on that that you received them, not just believed up in your head.
Why? That you may know that you have eternal life. That's God's promise to you right there in 1 John 5-13.
You can know you have eternal life because you took God at his promise and God cannot lie. So, folks, if I don't see you between now and then, I'll see you in heaven. Go ahead, Pastor.
All right, very, very good. Let me ask you a question. What do you think people would say if they actually really understood? The problem you have out there, you know, we, for years and years, for over half a century, we've been given the invitation and preaching and, you know, people listen to it and, you know, you see the looks on their faces like, yeah, I've heard that. But what if they actually really understood of their unbelief because, see, you can see the unbelief on their faces. You can see the doubt. But what if they actually knew for sure that what you're saying is absolute right from the Word of God, the greatest, you know, source of truth that ever existed, okay, if they really understood that they have two options.
One, they could either choose to go to heaven or they can choose to go to hell, okay? This is a reality out there. And sometimes, you know, I'm thinking if there was a way to open their eyes and get their real attention. Now, we see what happens, you know, when there's an emergency, you know? When they're trapped in a fire and they're praying, please, God, help me out of this thing. Or, you know, we've seen what happens when people, you know, when the guys were in a submarine and the submarine hit bottom and they couldn't, they were, everybody was in there praying, okay? Whenever there's an emergency like that, an emergency like that, you know, do you notice what happened at 9-11, at 9-11, you saw a lot of dust in New York City, but that didn't compare to the amount of dust across the country that was being, as the Bibles were taken off the shelf and being dusted off, because people saw 9-11 and they thought, we're now, this is World War III, and they were afraid.
But why does it have to take that? You know, when people out there, when God's Word, when you had over 1,800 prophecies, in which more than 90% of those have been fulfilled already, okay? I mean, just exactly when, exactly where, exactly how, the mathematical odds being zero, being zero that that could happen, that there, with all of our technology today, you know, men could not fulfill more than an estimated three of the 1,800 prophecies, and yet they don't seem to get it, do they, okay?
Even though it's right there in front of them. That's been hid from them in all the churches out there. You take one church, for example, that's kept the Bible in Latin for centuries, and so people wouldn't understand that they can be saved by faith through the blood of Christ. They think they'd have to go through a bunch of ceremonies and sacraments and have some guy wearing a dress waving his arms around saying, you know, absolution, wash away their sins. All that's unbiblical, but they've kept people in ignorance for centuries, dying lost without Christ. And then the average Protestant out there, you ask him, if you died today, would you go to heaven, whether Baptist, Methodist, or whatever, they'd think, well, yeah, I hope I'd go to heaven, because I don't do bad things, and I do a lot of good things, and my good works, out of balance, my bad works.
And so they got it all messed up, too. They think their good works is going to get them to heaven, and it's because they've been lied to from the cradle to the grave. The truth has been hidden, and that's why we're so important.
What we're doing here tonight and on the radio and everything is so important. It's getting the truth to people that they otherwise might never hear. Well, the Apostle Paul kind of answers that. He says in 2 Corinthians chapter 4, he says, but if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. Well, yeah, it is hid to them. That's the folks that you have to understand if you, you know, have that unbelief, then you're lost.
And that's not a good thing for you. He goes on to say, in whom the God of this world hath blinded the minds of them, which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. So, Lord, we pray, if you don't know the Lord as Savior, please, be smart and repent. Well, you see, again, what they have to, pardon?
