This is the Truth Network. Brought to you by the American Lung Association and the Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk the truth is. I can't hide it. Yeah.
It's the bro. A daily program powered by the Truth Network. This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you what. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind.
And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. What a treat. I mean, a treat we have for you today. It's not many times that we actually fill the truth booth, but it's full. It's full of Ukrainian nationals.
It's full. Of the love of God, I can tell you, to experience that all these folks have come here visiting with an organization you may be familiar with called Troika. And so, really fun. They are here, right? Is an extension of learning more about business practices and again, a chance to really engage God in what's going on around the world.
So, I have. My former Sunday school teacher when I was, you know, first came to Winston-Salem, Dennis Lennon, was my Sunday school teacher, but he's also fluent in Russian. And Ukrainian? No, just I can speak a little Russian. He can speak a little Russian.
Okay, so he can speak. These people, they are very fluent. Yes. In Ukrainian. In Ukrainian.
And so we're having a good time. And you're going to get a chance to experience. And here's a question today for you.
So. A lot of conflict out there in the world today, and so we would love for you to call in if you've ever experienced a time where there's this crazy conflict going on, but what happened was it drew people closer together. It it drew people You know, closer to God, closer together. When have you experienced that? We would love for you to call in and share that.
866-348-7884 is the number to call in and share. 866-34 Truths. Dennis. This is a beautiful thing. We got eight.
Ukrainian nationals right here, and we also have you guys that are hosting them, right? Right. That's great. And so tell us a little bit about what's going on.
Well, these eight people were a part of a group that completed. four business classes that we taught prior to the end of 2019. And they finished all four of the classes, which was part of the requirement for getting their. certificates. And then we had COVID come up.
And nobody could travel. And part of the program was that when they finished everything, they could then be invited to come visit us here, and we could take them to all the businesses here that they could observe the kinds of things that we taught them, how to do business, the values, the ethics. all the things that a good business practice should embody. And they couldn't come.
So Our end country facilitator, Andrei Yelaseyev, who happens to be sitting with me here in the booth, called and said, let's bring some people. It's time we need to bring some people.
So I said, let's do it. We got together, And we organized a plan of action, and they came yesterday, and they'll be here. About a week, and we're taking them to businesses. This is one of the businesses that they're visiting. and seeing what they've experienced that we've taught.
I hope that they learned. Got a lot of good things from us there, but we're just blessed to know them. They are amazing people. They're resilient people. and they love their country and they love the people of their country.
And we pray for them all the time, knowing what's going on there. They could not help. But somehow God is using that to change a lot of people's lives.
So, you know, it's something we don't even think about because when we hear the headlines of what's going on in Ukraine, we're thinking war, we're thinking, you know, drones and all sorts of missiles and whatever. But meanwhile, people are doing business. People have to survive. People have to eat. And those businesses are going on.
So Andre or whoever you think be, I would love to know what's business like in the Ukraine right now?
Okay, Andre. You can share. A little bit.
So a little translation going on. Here comes Andre. First of all, I would like to say thank you for all Americans. Thank you for your heart. Thank you for your prayers.
Thank you for your help. It's very important for us. We need more prayers. We need Uh uh more help. Uh Uh this time um this war is um the war not for territory, this war for Uh for values.
Uh Uh Uh it's very hard to live in the war. Uh we live uh more than ten years uh in this situation. Uh but uh each day every day uh we uh go uh to uh Uh our work Our children go to school and sometimes when we uh attacked from Russia. Our children go to basements in the school, sit one, two, three hours. Yeah and um Uh the same Uh in the same day uh we can Attacked all day, all night.
It's very hard. But Uh we are strong. Uh we uh Our soldier is very brave and I guess hm Uh Thank you for our soldiers because Uh um Uh they uh give us uh uh opportunity uh to Uh uh to to do business. uh different business. Um So what kind of business is um And I'll try to speak slowly because I know it Yeah.
Of the different folks that are here, what kind of businesses do they Yeah. Um my na my name is Nadia, and I'm here with my husband Paul. Together we're running a small sewing business in Lviv, and right now we are sewing military uniforms for our soldiers. And we understand how important business is. is during the war because we are paying taxes and um these taxes uh we can our government can use this money to support Army.
So, we really appreciate that you help our country, that you pray for us, we feel your prayers. Feel God's protection over us, and we know that God does a great work through this war. He changes. Uh people's lives. He changes uh their hearts And a lot of people get a chan got a chance to meet Jesus in their lives because of the war.
Well And so Your business is literally working with the uniforms that are going to the military? Yes. We are uh sewing jackets, military jackets for soldiers. We are sewing uh trousers for them, so Wow, that's awesome. you know, at the times for such a time as this, right?
That because it's cold. Like those those jackets and whatever, that's it's critical to their survival.
So what are some of the other businesses with the folks that you have Can I let me jump on in there, Dennis? Because they're hesitant to talk.
So that we have like three or four people who are in the accounting and finance business. They work with companies in those areas of business and finance. And we have, I think, one lady here who does retail. has a retail business, and then another lady who who is more of an entrepreneur and works in the developing programs, social programs for people. And um They've all been through our courses and done a wonderful, wonderful job.
And so, how cool is it that really, Dennis, that they're here, right, and furthering their training? What a practical way to support the country that Troika, again, you know, a lot of our listeners are not familiar with Troika. Can you give them this?
Well, Troika began back in the late 1900s when we were going to Ukraine a lot just to doing. Uh We were doing humanitarian and evangelical. We've got to go to break that music means, but when he said the late 1900s, he meant like 1995. 1995. That was the 1900s to me.
He sent me back. I'm like, dude, you're not that old. I remember that. We'll be back with your calls, too, by the way. If you have a question for all these folks, they would love it.
866-34 TRUUTH. You're listening to The Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Welcome back to a very, very exciting and Beautiful edition of Truth Talk Live today. We are so blessed to have with us eight Ukrainian business people that have come to train in our country and have seen things that are unthinkable to us. They live in it every day.
Herb came up to me a second ago, showed me an air raid warning right now in eastern Ukraine this very second. You know, people, as I said, were sending their kids down in the basement and whatever that situation is. But meanwhile, to see the joy that's in this room, to see the strength that's in this room, to see the happiness and our chance, again, to you know, you've been praying for Ukraine for a while to put a face, you know, with that, or a voice. Anyway, you can't see the faces I can see, but anyway, a voice. And with that, we would just.
Dennis would love, love, love for you to, and I would too. Love for you to call in. You have a question. Like, what's it? It's on your heart, something you I know you've been praying for Ukraine.
You know, what's going on there? We would love for you to call in and share what your thoughts are. 866-348-7884. 866-348-7884. Now, right before the break, Dennis, you were Um Discussing what Troika and back in the early 1900s knowing.
That's correct. That's correct. The late 1990s and 2000s, right. And you started going over there a long time ago, right after the wall came down. Right.
And uh w we just the Lord just put on our heart that We were trying to help the people in so many ways, but They needed to learn how to do business so they could. Be able to support themselves better, and the Soviet system didn't teach you how to do that. We got together and prayed about it, and several people decided we would start something, and we didn't know really what we were going to be doing business-wise, because we all had business backgrounds.
So eventually the Lord showed us the method, and the method was through teaching business principles. 2015, we had been doing this for almost 15 years then. And we met. Andrei Yelaseev. In Lviv, and through developing our relationship with him, realized he was just the right guy that God had put there to work with us and develop what we were doing.
And so he began to recruit people to our classes. And he's been phenomenal. And he has a heart. To help the business people do business the right way, God's way. And also give them an opportunity to hear the truth.
Of God's Word and who Jesus really is and how important He is, because as we teach, We teach business, Bible's full of how to do business right. But we also teach that he says, What will it profit a man if he gain the entire world and lose his soul?
So, yes, God wants us to be successful, but He wants us to be successful for His glory. That's true. And all the. Benefits that come from that.
So we have this other young lady over here we have not yet heard from. She has a paper it looks like she's really This opportunity to speak.
So, what's on your heart? You know, um.
So what would you like to say? I would like to say that I'm originally from Ukraine. My name is Olga, and currently I based in the United Kingdom where I study international business management. And mostly my experience related with the finance and the manufacturing companies. And all the styles time I was related with the Andrew company in finance.
And for me, especially interesting how the finance operate in the USA and how the business operate in the USA. And The main reason why I'm here, I'm very interested to set up my business and distribution from Ukraine to United Kingdom. And for me, it's really important the value that you provide to us. It means that we have to do business with God. when the God helps us.
And this value is really important for me. And I would like to be around the people who work with God in heart. It's the most important. And sometimes I start to do important things, but when I see that God isn't involved. Here it's difficult for me to work with in this area.
And I'm very grateful to you that you invite all of us and you share your values and your spirit with us and you help Ukrainian people. We need it so much in this difficult time in Ukraine. And everyone in Ukraine try to do something to help the soldiers, to help people in Ukraine. And doesn't matter someone now is abroad, someone in Ukraine. And everyone do everything what we can to help our beautiful country and so brave people in Ukraine.
And of course, we do this with God. That is beautiful.
Well said, beautifully said, actually. And and as I'm I'm curious is May be a tough thing to communicate. But, you know, from my standpoint, being in business, All my life, and Dennis will tell you that I was very, very, very involved in that, that when it comes to accounting, Like computers are a gigantic Part of that process and in America we have all sorts of technology. I'm wondering, do they have th that in the Ukraine, the same computer systems to use and the software to use in their accounting? Or are they still Doing it by hand?
Oh, man. Talk nice bugle character. We we do this uh now uh we use a lot of uh ERP systems uh and uh for example SAP and uh we had the another Ukrainian system for automation automatization uh the processes uh and it's not just for accountancy and finance uh it's uh uh ERP it's uh to operations, uh warehouse, uh it's uh combined everything. Yeah. Yeah, so th yeah, they they they're doing it.
The whole They're sometimes more advanced than we are. Their technology area, the people in Lviv, for example, there's. many tech companies there that do amazing things. On the internet, and they write programs for people all over the world, and they're very successful at that. They're on top of the electronic stuff that's going on in the world.
Yeah, and so you know a big part of accounting is I'm just listening and thinking you know out loud and which by the way if you have a question you could be like me and ask it 866-348-7884-866-348-7884 You know, one of the big things if you're involved in accounting in America is you have to deal with the IRS.
So if you're accounting in Ukraine, it's a whole different tax system, right? But obviously, extremely important in the time of war that they need the taxes. Andre is a Tax expert in Ukrainian tax law. And he is his business is auditing and helping other accountants. make sure they know exactly what's required.
and how to do it.
So he's also important.
So he doesn't know what we're saying.
So tax the tax system there in Ukraine? Because I would imagine. That that's A critical aspect of any business is getting that aspect of the taxes if you do taxes straight is huge. Um Even in Jesus' time, there was a whole thing about the tax collectors, not the favorite people. In each country's Uh the tax uh system is very difficult.
Uh Uh and um the same in Ukraine. Uh but uh we uh we work, we pay taxes. Uh and leave. Yeah. Wow, I know some of you are going to lose the program if you don't happen to be in Ohio or some of the other markets.
So by all means, you can go online. You can go to the Truth app to listen to the rest of the show today. We would love to have you join us. Dennis is dying for your questions. I'm dying for your questions.
866-348-7884. Again, enjoying these folks from Ukraine today. You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live, very, very special edition of... Wow, what a treat.
I just feel God has just blessed this show in so many ways over the years. And I've seen the studio filled with wonderful people on more than one occasion. And it's always such an unbelievable blessing to have all these folks travel from Ukraine. God is doing a work clearly. Um It's a terrifying time for them, their families.
Yet the joy that's in this room, you'd just have to experience it, especially when we want to bring the laughter and the joy. It's absolutely amazing. And their heart Um to share with you. um their gratitude. And so we have another young lady here.
I'll let you introduce her. Her her name is her name is Irina and she is from Ternopil, a a city near Lviv. Hello, everybody. I'm Rina Barizi. I live in Ternopil, it's a small city Nyalviv.
I am a counter and I have owned a company, outsourcing company. And in times of big challenges, success being with faith in our strengths and faith in the people who stand by us, today we want to express our deepest gratitude to the Troika team. Thank you for inviting us to your internship program and for organizing such as powerful business networking. You didn't just open your door, you share your ex expertise and connected us with the wider business opportunity. Com community.
We truly value American business for its leadership. generosity and belief in new talent. Thank you, Treika, for your trust and warm welcome. Together with space in our hearts, we build a stronger future. Oh, that's beautiful.
Yeah, Dennis, thank you. That's it's truly And I you know, I know. Because I've known Dennis for all these years, from the beginning at Troika, actually. Um How many trips over there have you taken? I have no idea.
I've lost count, but I've got these other guys that go with me, and they go as many times as I do.
So we have three of them. But it's been once or twice a year since the late 1990s. Call it that. For the last 20 years, both Russia and Ukraine, because we don't go to Russia since. 2014, when they first invaded eastern Ukraine and Crimea, stole Crimea.
So these people have been at war since 2014. It's been not just four years, it's been 12 years, particularly for those who live in the eastern area of Ukraine. And this is what. Has happened there is Russia has basically made it a no-man's land. I mean, they claim this is our territory, but.
They've destroyed it. And the Ukrainian people love their freedom and they've Shown the world that they don't want to give their freedom up. We just celebrated Memorial Day in America, and that's why. People from America died all those years, 250 years now, to preserve the freedoms that we have, that they have. And Russia doesn't.
And we have Luba. Is in Raleigh, North Carolina. She has a question for us.
So, Luba, you're on Truth Talk Live. We would love to hear your question. Hi, I'm from Rowland, North Carolina. Thankful that you pick up the subject. It's very painful because I have a family.
in Ukraine And um I would like to know I would like to know. of these people how these people wear their strength from Where they how they keep everything alive. I have a chance to be there. And I was so amazed. Because after all this bonding, after all this Horrific situation.
They're still alive. They're still hard working. Where? There Drinks. Strong.
So you you sound like you would speak their language. Are you do you do you speak Ukrainian? Yes, very well. Speak to them in their language. I know they would love that.
Ask them that question in Ukrainian. They would love it. The Regiment. Ya, prostojochoz nates, vidki veretes selos, vidki marsha sela. A robot attached to the robot.
So, I'm assured that we're going to be able to do it. All right. We have to do it. Uh simolets.
So, like in any good church. When somebody speaks in another tongue, you always have to have somebody interpret it so the rest of the audience would know what what did Andre say? Andrew said that we find our strength in God. Uh we pray and uh we We and Our God gives us the strength to overcome and live in a war. Um yeah.
Now in Ukraine uh the Amount of believers raised a lot, and also new churches. are organized and many people are found. God. But what a beautiful, beautiful question. Yes, Andri, go ahead.
Uh edit. Uh as a rule, people uh are interested in a few very important uh questions. Uh where should I park my car? Uh how can I lose weight? Uh who I am.
uh the first question in Ukraine Ah have to be alive. Yeah. Yeah. It's a different it's a different thing, but I I hear your heart, Luba, and I feel the prayers are, I'm sure, right along with that. Uh Right.
I just would like to tell you Thank you. for all Ukrainian people. for all churches. They keep strong, they keep alive, and are also thankful that That's what you are doing here in America for your support, for your love. that you're not only talking about support, but you're doing.
Thank you. Oh, thank you, Luber. God bless you. You keep up the good work in the prayers. Believe me, I can see their hearts are all touched by what you've spoken.
God bless you. Bye-bye. Thank you. Have a great afternoon.
Okay. That means you can call, even if you don't speak Ukrainian 866-348-7884-866. Three, four, eight. Uh seven eight eight four you can see um You know, just a warm feeling to know that wow You know, th i i i there are people all over the place that that their hearts are breaking with with the situation, Dennis. And of course, I I can't even imagine For you, Dennis, having stood by where you have and seen so much of this, and yet Can I pray for Luba right now?
Lord, we thank you that Luba called in today and listened to the things we shared. And we lift her up to you, and we also lift up ourselves and those visitors that are with us, and we remember. And we know that, Lord, you are omnipresent. It's impossible for us to really grasp that fact because you live in a totally other dimension outside of our. Limited three-dimensional world that we exist in, but Lord, you are with every believer everywhere in the world, every minute of the day, in time, and space.
All of that does not bother you or affect you, and we just want to remind Luba that you are right there with her. And with us, Lord Jesus is the one who came to save us, and we thank you for his presence in our lives, and only through him. is real freedom found.
So we pray for the freedom. Of Ukraine and the freedom of the people, there as we pray for it here in Russia and everywhere else. Jesus Christ will set them free, and we pray this in His name. Amen. Amen.
So. We have a wonderful microphone right here that we've only used for a few of you.
So I see what might you want to share. with our listeners.
Okay. Um, my name is Vlada. I want to thank you a lot for all the Stoic international and all Americans who did a lot for Ukraine. Uh we appreciate your help, your Um how your attitude to our people and our country. It's really helpful for us in this tough time.
And I think that it's maybe it was the part of my path that I enjoy this company and I will involve in all this course because these guys they learned us not only about businesses, but also about about balance, about uh what you want in your life and um Ugh. how you can change the attitude from different people to your businesses and how you work with a lot of them for a long time. Um I think that it changed my life uh definitely and I think it touched a lot of people from all the team who was in their course. Um That's why we're really thankful for all they did. That is beautiful.
God, you guys are so articulate. It's amazing. It's wonderful.
So I know a lot of people listening that haven't called in yet, although I see somebody's calling in now at 866-348-7884. I can hardly wait. How can people find out more about Troika? I mean, they're probably going, golly, I want to be able to take part of this. What can I do?
How do they get up on that, Dennis? Am I on? Yeah, you're on.
Well, right now, our activity is fairly dormant because we can't travel over there. But we're looking forward to the day and the time soon we can go. Is there like a website people can go to? We actually have dormanted our website right now.
Okay. It's not available right now because we've not been able to go actively for at least four or five years now, but we hope for the future to open up. And be able to because being on the ground, seeing people in person, it we can do stuff on Zoom. It doesn't make it's not the same. We like relationships, face-to-face, personal relationships.
That's where bonds are formed. and understanding takes place. When you look in someone's eyes, and you hear them and you know they're telling you the truth and they can believe you. That makes a big difference because we see things on the internet and on TV all the time with people moving their lips, but they're not telling you the truth. That's beautiful.
So, Ken, we would love your calls, your questions, your comments. 866-348-7884. The Beautiful of a Live Radio Show is to hear from you. 866-348-7884. We'll be right back with one last segment.
You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Welcome back to True Talk Live. Today, such a treat here. with these wonderful folks that have come in from the Ukraine with Troika to learn some more United States business ideas and techniques, but also to learn values and to walk with us. And it's a chance for us to walk with you and get a sense of the strength that that you all possess as as How God has strengthened you through something we can't hardly think of.
So it's absolutely a beautiful thing. And You know, during the break, we got a call from a listener in Ohio that had the question. A great question that I'm sure is on a lot of people's hearts that are listening right now. You guys are very familiar with your situation specifically. How would you have America pray for Ukraine?
How would you have us. What were the things that you when you were l Praying about your government or about your soldiers or about your Schools, what where do you what are the some of the needs that you see that just scream at your heart? Uh me and my husband, we are uh believers and we uh go to leave Central Baptist Church and we pray for our government for wisdom for them and uh we also um pray for our soldiers, for them to be brave.
So we want to ask you to pray also to pray for our government, uh not only for our government but uh for those people who um had power to change something in this situation to to give these people wisdom to end war. We also want you to pray for God's protection over our country, over our people, especially when missile attacks around. We also want you to pray for Ukrainian people to have strength to live during this war and to See the needs of other people who near them and to serve them.
So We really appreciate your praise and we are very grateful. You that you support us and pray for us.
Well, let's do that.
So, Lord. We do thank you again for this opportunity we've had to meet with and be. With these wonderful folks from the Ukraine, and we do pray right now as a truth talk audience and the people that are hearing my voice right now, Lord. We need your wisdom. We all do.
But certainly the leadership in Ukraine, they need wisdom. They need understanding. Give them something that's just supernatural, something beyond themselves that they can just latch on and go, oh, there's the solution. There's the idea that can truly help these people, that can truly help this situation, Lord. We pray for the hearts of all those that are involved, Lord, that they would stay close to you.
Um That they would be close to their people, that they would see more and more opportunities to serve one another in this situation, that they would check on that neighbor that needs to be checked on, that they would. hear that scream from that child that they would that you would make uh a spectacle. of their enemies. That they would see you come shining through, that your light would be so bright that more and more would come to you, as they would see how the Christians are the ones reaching out, treating each other beautifully and loving on one another. Lord, it's your love that always never fails.
And so, Lord, we pray that you would bring it to the Ukrainian people in a very special way. That would light a light that can't be put out, that would show the world what that strength is, continue to strengthen them, give them the courage that they need, and help them to be the light that you made them. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Amen.
So Wonderful. We just have a few minutes left, so we don't want to leave anybody out that has anything you want to share. Herb, if you got some thoughts. that you feel like the the audience needs to know. Herb has been on all these trips with Dennis for years.
Herb Burns, author of many books and good friend of Truth Talk Live as well. Herb.
Well thank you, Robbie. I think what's going to be important to me from this visit is the stories that will be taken back to Ukraine. of the encounters our visitors had with the Americans. with the prayers that were said over them. With The businesses that they got to see with the knowledge of things that they've not learned.
the legacy of what this team has been doing. We'll continue. To go back to Ukraine when this visit's over. And I just cannot wait to hear what your stories are going to be. when you tell your loved ones about your experiences with us.
Thank you all for coming. You know, thank you, um herbite that's It's so cool that you guys are doing this. Dennis made an amazing point, and I don't want to let it drop. The point that he made was we need more young people. Dennis is about 609.
Herb is 1,430. I'm telling you, these are some geezers in here. They're older than me, I'm telling you. And the point of that is, is that we need some young Troikans, right? People that know these later technologies and the stuff that's going on now to volunteer time to go to the Ukraine or to help Troika and those kind of things.
And so, you know. I am a pretty easy person to get a hold of, right? If you can look at ChristianCarGuy.com, my phone number is even there. My email is all over the internet. I'm easy to find.
Robbie Dilmore, R. Dilmore7. At gmail or rdilmore at truthnetwork.com, contact me and I will put you in touch with the people with Troika. If you're a young man and you think, wow, God, you're putting on this my heart to help. in this situation where you know these technologies, you know business, whatever, God put it on your heart today, you listen to this, you reach out and call me, text me, I don't care.
However you get it done. You know, we want to be a a conduit for what God's doing. And I think that, or I know, Dennis, has he taken you on some amazing adventures when you obeyed him? Oh man. I'd rather do these trips than take a vacation.
They are more they're more exciting. They're more fulfilling. I come back sometimes and I say, God, I'm having too much fun. I mean, this is so enjoyable. I can't believe that you're letting me do this.
Right. And you get to meet new people. And God makes ways for the finances or whatever. You just, you know, He's interested in your availability. You feel the tug on your heart.
You know, reach out, get a hold of me. We will get you up with Dennis and Herb and my friends here with Troika that. Again, we can just make more resources available that the people of Ukraine would be able to support themselves, support their government. You know, who knows what God will do with what it is that you have for such a time as this? It's absolutely beautiful.
And again, I can remember. Years ago, Dennis, you used to bring back all this stuff that you guys made when you were over in... uh in in the Ukraine and so you're still connected to all these businesses, not just these eight that you're talking about, right? How many are involved still? I don't know.
There's more than I can remember. More than country. He's so old, he lost his memory. Yeah. I'm sorry, Dylan.
But you're the point. He's got a lot of them. I can assure you, you've dealt with. Really, for years and years and years. All these people.
Well, I'm I'm Almost an oct octogenarian.
Okay. I've been through a few years. I've got a few scars, but they're wonderful. Scars and yes, I am old, Robbie. I can only say that 'cause they're all about it.
But I'm only I'm only twenty five in my mind like most guys my age, so. But as you mentioned at the beginning of the show, Dennis, Memorial Day was a special day. Um it was just you know obviously Ah, yesterday. And Dennis. served many, many, many years in the U.S.
Navy. Thank you for your Uh you know, service, amazing service, Dennis, because I know that you you You did a lot in the Navy, but I know because of that, you have lots of friends that now are part of Memorial Day, right? That's right. And so I would want to give you a chance to speak on that for a second, because it means a lot to Americans.
Well, I had a privilege to do something that Recently, many people have not had the opportunity to step forward and say I'll sign a blank check with my life for my country. I don't know if it has to be cashed or it will be cashed in my lifetime, but I've written I've written it. And many, many others have done that before. My father fought in World War II. was a prisoner of war actually in Germany, came home And if he hadn't survived, I wouldn't be here.
So I owe him. And my father was a strong believer. I don't know how he survived that experience. But he did, and God used him. in my life and the lives of many other people.
But there's so many believers in the military, you would be amazed. Yes, we hear bad things about military people sometimes, but There are a lot of strong, faithful people there. But in the military, you learn to speak some other languages. How helpful has that been in the adventures that God took you on? Go ahead, Herb.
You know, it's as Dennis is talking about Memorial Day. that we remember people.
Something very Amazing is happening in Ukraine. Every day at nine o'clock, and I cannot imagine if that would happen in America.
So, would one of our guests tell us what is happening? At nine o'clock in the morning. every day in Ukraine. Every day in Ukraine on nine AM all cars, all people, stand, and we have a minute of silence for those who died in in this war.
So you can um See as it when whole seat dear Are stops. And everyone stands. to honor those who died in this war. Wow, so it's like a memorial minute every day. Yes.
Absolutely beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. And unfortunately the traffic stopping and all that every time the air rates and You know, it's hard to experience that, except I did experience it in Israel here last May. And I saw all of a sudden when the airline turns off and everybody stops. And so, facing that every day, as you do, you can tell Truth Talk listeners, you know, we got a wonderful opportunity to pray for our brothers and sisters over there.
We thank you so much for listening. It was so fun. Have a great evening.
