Donate to the podcast. What a blessing. What a blessing.
What a blessing. Thank you for that, but I do, I have two orders, though, that have those smartphones, and the librarians always help me up the way in different ways, so they push buttons on the computer and can get to places, so thank you so much. Well, I thank you so much for calling in tonight, and you know, when you mentioned hospice, though, you know, I noticed not all hospices are the same. I had come across some hospices that I really didn't care too much for, you know, because they used to be, you know, you could depend upon them. They were to make the person in their last days comfortable and be there and do, basically, to go through this, maybe not trying to prolong their life, but not trying to shorten their life, either, but we've seen that change somewhat. Yes, we have.
That's a great point. I'm glad she brought that up. If folks want to go to the Dayton Rights of Life website, it's DaytonLife.org, and we have an end-of-life tab that they can go, and under that tab, it has a list of questions to ask your hospice provider.
We use it in cooperation with the Illinois Rights of Life, and it's a great resource to have handy to kind of question your local hospice on how they deal with certain situations, so if folks want that, they can go to DaytonLife.org and then click on the end-of-life, and you can find the questions to ask your hospice provider. All right, one second. Very good. That was DaytonLife, L-I-F-E.
I thought you said wise. No. No, Life, L-I-F-E, DaytonLife.org.
Okay, I've got that written down. I'm going to get off so others can call, but I thank you so much. Again, I say the Lord's blessed us with a great hospice. She lived down the road just a couple doors from my mother, and she was just there if we had questions, and it turned out we were blessed. Yes, but yes, it's not always the way, and again, I agree with Pastor as far as visiting friends or family in the nursing homes.
I agree with the statement that he had that they do have better care if they do get more visitors, so that being said... Let me ask you before you go. Let me ask you, Cheryl, before you go. When you listen to me at nights, are you in bed? Do you sit there in bed with your radio on?
I sure am. I go to bed at 8 o'clock, and I read for an hour, and then I turn you on. You wouldn't be surprised at how many letters I get from the ladies that say, I go to bed with you every night.
No, I do declare. We thank you so very much for beginning with the Word, the Bible, and then ending with, you know, the truth, the way, and the life. I truly say that it's been a blessing to find your radio station, and I've shared that with others here, hoping that they would tune in also. So thank you all, and a good night. I'll continue listening now. Thank you.
God bless. You know, and this has got to do actually with what I'm going to be preaching on, Lord's Willing, unless the Lord changes it, but I'm going to be preaching on Sunday. I've got a lot of questions about people asking me over and over and over. Will we know our family members? Will we know each other in heaven? Well, the Bible talks to that. I'm going to address that. And then the other one, is there going to be pets? Will we have our pets be in heaven? Okay. So I'm going to be addressing that, Lord's Willing, this Sunday.
It's an interesting topic there. Are we going to see, because we need to treat those loved ones good at that last day, because we're going to be with them for eternity, huh? That's the plan. Yep, that's the goal.
Yep, so that's going to be interesting, because the Word of God's got a lot to say about everything. We'll be back right after this with more. Well, you made me a promise, she said, as you walked in. He said, tell me what I can do.
She said this to Him. Tell Mom and Dad about Jesus, and all the pain that He had to bear. Tell Mom and Dad about Heaven above, Heaven making Jesus. Tell Mom and Dad about Jesus, tell them what He's done for them. Tell Mom and Dad about Jesus, please, so I'll see them again.
She said, I know I'm dying, but that's not my sad. I know I'll go to Heaven, but what about Mom and Dad? I told them about Jesus, but I couldn't make them see.
So when they come to my funeral, would you do this for me? Tell Mom and Dad about Jesus, and all the pain that He had to bear. Tell Mom and Dad about Heaven above, how they can see me there. Tell Mom and Dad about Jesus, tell them what He's done for them. Tell Mom and Dad about Jesus, please, so I'll see them again. She said they dropped me off at Sunday school, and I'm so glad they did. But how great it would have to be in a church service with them. She said, promise me you'll tell them, and she faded off to sleep.
He said, sweetheart, don't worry, that's a promise that I'll keep.
Alrighty, we did. You know, that's a true story. That's a true story, what you just heard, that song. Of course, that wasn't me, that was with that little girl that the song was written. It was a true account. It was a different pastor. That was me in the song. And that little girl in the song, she didn't die, she's a grown woman now.
But the story's true. There you go. Alright, we're back.
And phone lines are open at 888-677-9673. We're talking about the end of life, folks. And one of the things you really need to do is make sure, again, that you have your will and everything's made out. And, you know, it's an interesting thing because my attorneys that I keep getting keep becoming judges.
And, yeah, so, you know, have my paperwork and my wills and all that, that have all of that. So, you wonder, you know, of course, they have somebody else taking care of it, you know, four of them, but, well, you gotta keep track of that. And here, you know, we had a situation there with John McKernan and John Holman, who was an advocate. They were advocates for people, the elderly, in the nursing homes because what was happening, their property was being taken in the nursing home. They were being embezzled.
And it was like a ring. And there were courts, judges, you had prosecutors, even one police chief was involved, and we got involved. We exposed this stuff.
We were exposing this stuff. But what was happening, they were appointing, the courts were appointing these, what do they call, advocates, I'm trying to think of the name of them right now, and they were taking over as power of attorneys for these patients. You know, they were doing it, the court was appointing these people. There was one woman who had, she was like power of attorney for like 250 people, and they were stealing their estates. Yeah, under guardianship.
Yeah, guardian, yeah, guardian ad litem, yeah. So we started exposing these things, and you ought to see, when I called them and said, listen, here is what is being said, I'd like to have you come on this radio program and tell us what you know about this. And boy, these people would go in a panic. And I had one police chief started yelling, I don't know, listen, I got nothing to do with this.
I didn't want any part of it to begin with. And I mean, he had almost had a nervous breakdown, okay, when I just asked him, I'd like to hear what you have to say about this. And so we started exposing that because a lot of these people were losing, and we had a couple situations where the relatives, the children of these people were literally arrested and taken out of the nursing home.
When they went to visit their parents. Oh, my. Yeah.
Yeah, you just have to be careful and, yeah, that's terrible. Gosh. In fact, there was a guy, oh, boy, I wish I could remember, he was a very well-known, he had a radio and a TV type thing there in California, and he, what had happened, this gold digger, some young woman had gotten, you know, that had moved into his house, had everything put in her name. And his daughter was on the program with us here, and what happened, she came to see him in the hospital, and this young woman, see, her father wasn't, you know, all the way there, he wasn't totally competent, but he did not marry this woman, this whole thing was being set up. And she had his own daughter arrested when she came to see her father, and the guy, I wish I could remember his name, everybody knew, he was very well-known. Oh, boy.
And I'm having one of my senior moments now, but anyhow, so, yeah, that's something else, too, people really need to be aware of. There was a similar story like that, Pastor Ernie, with Casey Kasem. That's it, that's him. Yep, yep, yep. Yeah, we had his daughter on the radio program.
Yep, that's terrible. Oh, you want to take some calls? Yeah, let's take some calls. All right, we've got Pete in New Jersey. All right, we're going out to New Jersey.
Hey, Pete, you're in the air. Yeah, hi there, just a tiny little short quote that's good for every person, and here it is, the only value in having an open mind is to close it when you come across something solid. That's interesting, okay. All right. Thanks, Pete. Thanks for sharing that with us. All right, we can go back out to Jersey, if you still want to be in Jersey, and we've got Bill. If it wasn't for Pete, I may never have heard that.
No, that's true. Okay, who do we have out there? Bill. Hey, Bill, you're in the air. Hi there, Pastor, how are you? This is Bill from New Jersey. There's a bunch of us here sitting, truck drivers, all sitting around the table praying, and we listen to you every night on the radio and on CB, and we talk back and forth to each other. I travel coast to coast. I'm based out of Jersey, Pastor Sanders, but maybe you could help us.
I know you have a lot of connections out there. This is time of the essence, has nothing to do with what we're talking about tonight, but it's really critical that you might be interested in. The USS United States ship was towed from Philly, okay? It's one of the oldest historic ships that's ever sailed, and, well, there's a lot of left people involved with sinking this thing. It's down on its way to Florida.
It's out of the essence. They're going to sink at the end of this week, and all those truckers, and there's about 700 of us all together on the radio. I mean, the last week now, we've been all talking about it, and they said, the man to talk to is you, Pastor Sanders. Maybe you could help us get to President Trump or someone or Elon Musk or someone to help save this ship, Pastor Sanders, because Elon, I mean, George Soros and a few of the other leftists are behind this whole thing to sink this ship.
They want to sink the United States is what they're trying to do. And all these guys here that were sitting here, yep, they left their thumbs up, and they're all saying to me, Hope that you can do something for us, Pastor, that we can save this ship. I don't know if you know anything about the ship. Have you ever heard of it? Do you know it, USF, United States?
Yeah, I have, and that is an old, old ship, and I'm with you 100%. I don't know what I'll do. I'll do whatever I can. I'm trying to think of who I could contact on that.
You know, that would be probably the Pentagon, probably Pete Heston might be the guy to go with it. Yes. Yeah, because that, let me see what I can do tomorrow. I'll do what I can. Well, I can tell you for a fact that we have names.
There's 760 truckers right now hoping and praying. Most of us are vets, and we're trying to save the ship. You know, someone like Musk or someone or President Trump, you know, that has a lot of money, you know, turned us into a historic trademark, a landmark. Even, you know, Philly doesn't want it, but they've got to be able to go somewhere else. It would be a shame for them to sink this thing and turn it into a reef with so much history behind it.
And when we found out the research, it's the left that's doing this. You know, the leftist knuckleheads from Philly are all behind this thing to get it out of their harbor. They didn't want to look at it no more because it became an eyesore, but the thing is it needs some TLC.
You know, anybody said they need some money to put it back into shape, but how much of a shame would it be? They already sunk the aircraft carrier, right, America. Now they want to sink this thing. Yeah, but they don't like our military.
They never have the left there. I mean, the left can't take care of themselves, let alone a ship like that, so what do you expect from them? Well, that ship should be a blood-and-dry dock and become a museum. Yes, absolutely. It should be, yes, a hundred percent. It's exactly like that. All those guys here sitting there, they got their thumbs up again.
Pastor Roll listened to you and they said the same exact thing. You know, a museum, a hotel, something for, you know, the president's got an airplane, why can't the president have a ship? Proceeds can go to vets. There's a lot of things we can do with this. Yep, you're not kidding.
It's huge. We've got to keep it from being sunk, though. They're saying we have to keep it from being sunk. They're going to sink this thing Friday morning down off the coast of Florida, and we're trying to save it.
There's a bunch of us truckers here. Now, have you tried contacting DeSantis down in Florida? Yeah, that would be the guy. You know what? Here, that's what all of you men should do.
Call the governor's office tomorrow. We've tried, Pastor Sanders, but we need somebody with a lot of power behind them, and you have it. You've got a microphone.
You've got all the other connections that you have. We tried. The truckers, all of us went down there. We went down there two weeks ago to fight for the ship. Yeah, but you went down to Philly, though, didn't you?
Well, we were in Philly, but then we went down to Florida because we know where this thing is going. Well, here's what we can do right now, Ken. Can you get me the governor's phone number? Um, right now? Yeah, Ken, I know we don't have much time.
Can you? I'll see if I can find it. You can find it. I'll give it out over the air. I'll give it out over the air and have people calling, you know, first thing tomorrow morning.
Look, the governor's office, he gets 20, 30 phone calls. They're going to say, you know what, for everyone that, you know, they called in here, there's probably a thousand that feel the same way. Right. Yep. So we'll do that.
We'll give that phone number out. And the name of that ship again is? The USS United States, Pastor. USS United States. All right, according to... If you look up online, you'll see there's a lot of history behind it.
It's the fastest ship to ever travel from Europe to America. And I'm going to tell you something right now. I'll put... I know you're always looking for people to match your donation. I will put a donation next time you do the, you know, you do your... Pledge Week. I'm going to pledge you, I promise you, I will pledge you $2,000 if you can make this happen. I'll do the best I can.
All right. According to Google, so take that for what it is, the office phone number for Governor Ron DeSantis is area code 850-717-9337. 9-3-3-7. That's DeSantis, right?
Yeah, DeSantis. 850-717-9337. We'll do this again now.
All you folks out there listening from coast to coast out there, you need to get... I don't know what time they're planning on doing this, but you need to call first thing in the morning. First thing in the morning. Usually their office opens at 8 o'clock, okay?
Okay, good. And so that number again is 850-717-9337. That's 850-717-9337. Everybody needs to call all the fellas there with you the first thing in the morning. Usually they open at 8 o'clock. You might even try calling now and seeing if you could leave a message. Yeah. That's a good idea.
I'll do that. You know, so far we have 200... We could have his office here. There's going to be a bunch of them. Right now we've got 75 truckers. We're trying to get them all lined up. We're going to do a convoy down here. And we're going to truck them for God. That's the organization we are. We're all going to be... Actually, we're trucking for Jesus, I should say.
It's the Jersey chapter. We're going down. There's a bunch of us going down here. We've got our American flags hooked up to our trucks.
We're going to be going down here to support this ship. It's a shame that they're going to do this. The left is going to get away with this. They can't get away with it. They can't.
They can't. If President Trump knew this, I'm sure he would step in if he knew. Let's do this.
Right now, let's pray for you guys because the folks out there, there's power in prayer. This is a part of our history. Let me tell you something here. Like Stalin said, if you want to control a people's future, you must destroy their past. And that's what the left does.
The left tries to destroy our past in every which way. So let's pray. Heavenly Father, Lord God, I just would ask, we know, Lord, that this is just a ship, Lord, and we know it's not idle or anything, but it's memories, and it's a part of our past. So Heavenly Father, Lord God, we just would ask that you would just motivate the people, Lord, to call, that you would be with these truckers, be with every one of them as they go down there, Father God, and again, be with them, use them in a mighty, mighty way, Father God.
To let the left, the Communist left, know that we're not going to take it, we're not going to sit back and let you keep doing this. This we ask in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. I really appreciate it.
All of us drivers are sitting around here saying fight, fight, fight is what they're cheering right now. Amen. I got to move on because it's time for me to give the information. Okay, we've got one more call if you want to take it. Okay, okay, very quick.
We have to be quick. Quick, we've got Lynn in Pennsylvania. Alright, let's go to PA for Lynn. Lynn, you're in the air.
Yeah, hi Pastor Ernie and everyone there. I wanted to talk about the subject that you were talking about, about our loved ones going into the hospital, nursing homes and so forth. Well, my sister-in-law two months ago had some pain. She was at her son's house and she has four young boys and she was having some severe pain in her stomach.
She recently, about a month prior, found out she had ovarian cancer and she had her first chemo treatment that week. And so the pain she was having that night, her son called an ambulance and she went into the hospital emergency room and was in there, the emergency room from like 5.30 in the morning. And about 12 noon they finally found a room for her to go into. So she goes into the room, she's in the room and she was in there and her son that was sitting there with her the whole time just basically went to go get her.
She wanted to have a soda, a Coke or something. So he left and went out to the store to get it and come back and when he came back his mom was sleeping and she didn't wake up because they said they were giving her morphine for her pain. So then I showed up because they called me and then my brother and everyone and we were in the room and this nurse kept coming in and was giving her shots of morphine but she wasn't hooked up to like a monitor, heart monitor, oxygen, nothing, nothing at all. And the nurse kept coming in, it was a male, and just giving it to her and she never got a chance to like wake up to talk to us and we're just sitting there watching this going on but it wasn't really registering to us what was really happening. He kept coming in like every 20 minutes and giving her morphine and we were like, why does he keep coming in here? He keeps giving her morphine and she's not even awake but we were just talking amongst ourselves and you know we weren't even thinking anything was going to happen and she died. She actually died in front of us and her four children that were sitting there with us because of this nurse that took the authority in his own hands to take her life.
Right in front of us, right in front of us and we weren't thinking like she was going to die, we were thinking she was going to end up going home but with him keep coming in there like that, I didn't even know why we didn't question it. You know what, you really need to do something about that. When did that happen?
About two months ago. Well you know because if they get away with that and they kill her they're going to do it again and I would definitely get a lawyer on that. Yeah because we had a case similar to that in Ohio here and when it came to the court system this nurse, the male nurse had done it to like 10 different patients. Yeah. Your family member might not be the only one. Probably not.
Well you know I would get a lawyer on that, I'm out of time for right now so but God bless you and do that, I would get a lawyer on that but what they did is wrong and you need to get to the bottom of that and get it stopped. Thank you, God bless. Alright folks, we're at the end. Thanks for being here with us tonight Margie. My pleasure. It's great always talking with you Pastor Ernie. You always have an open invitation to come with me anytime you want. Okay, I'll take you up on that.
Alright, very good. But right now I've got to tell folks about how to avoid that burning lake of fire and how to get to heaven and it's not complicated folks. The bottom line is the Lord Jesus said you must be born again, that means you need to repent of your sin, you asked, you go pray to the Father, ask for forgiveness of your sin, Lord. Think about this, how Jesus suffered and died for you, he did that for you. Now he took your place on the cross, he did the heavy lifting, now what you have to do is you have to, like I said, ask for forgiveness and then call upon the name of the Lord Jesus, ask him to be the Lord of your life all of your life. And like he said, you got to put him first, he put you first, he put you first when he took your place upon that cross.
Now you got to put him first before father, mother, brother, sister, before yourself and if you do that, make him Lord of your life all of your life and be obedient to his word, then you will become a new creature, you will become a born again believer, you will become an heir of the kingdom. You've got God's word on this and there's nothing, nothing that's ever been as sure and as powerful as God's word, in fact the universe was spoken into existence with that very power and so do that tonight, you might not have a tomorrow, don't ever run out of tomorrows tonight. And so we want to say as we get to this point every night, it's time to say thanks for being here, thanks for listening, God bless you all out there tonight and we always say and always, always, always ready, keep fighting the fight, fight, fight, fight.
