And tonight we have on the board for a while is Style. Hey, Style. Hey, good evening, Pastor.
Well, pretty much live in the studio. You hear the cackle? Always a cackle, but never any eggs there.
The cackles led to Elisa. Good evening, everyone. All righty. And we also have Pastor Richard Lewis. Welcome, everyone.
And Aaron Ganius. Hello, Pastor. And then this is, uh, tonight's is, um, Wendy Wednesday.
We have that herbalist extraordinaire, Miss Wendy Wilson. Hey, Wendy. Hi. Good evening, Pastor. Good to have you here. You ready to roll? We got a lot of stuff to cover tonight.
Yeah, I'm ready. And I want to tell folks, too, we had, Wendy, you may have seen what took place today in the House where they voted to hold Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress. He refuses to give over the audio tapes that her took of the interview with with Joe Obama Biden. And so here now the Republicans voted in every one except for one. Dave Joyce, only one Republican voted against it.
That's Dave Joyce. He happens to be in my district now. Here's what I'm going to do, folks. This is important because now they're going to have they can't turn him over back over to his own department, Department of Justice. That would be the normal thing because he's not going to prosecute himself. OK. And his underlings aren't going to prosecute him. He's their boss. But now who does have the authority to to arrest him? Well, it's the Congress, the sergeant of arms in the Congress, has the authority. And and in cases where you've had a corrupt Justice Department and others, they've had to turn to.
Now, I think it's been I think the last time that they did that was about nineteen hundred or so, something around in an area where the sergeant of arms had to go make an arrest. But, folks, this is imperative that you do this, that you call your congressman, call your congressman and call Dave Joyce, his office. I'm going to give you some phone numbers. They need to hear from you, folks. You can call and leave a message tonight.
You don't have to wait till tomorrow. You can call and you can leave a message tonight and just tell Dave, Congressman Joyce, vote in favor of the sergeant of arms doing his job in arresting Merrick Garland. OK. And so that number is 202-225-5731. That is his Washington, D.C. number. 202-225-5731. He has an office in Mentor, Ohio.
Mentor, Ohio. And that number, too, folks, would be 440-352-3939. Remember what he's done to all the J6 and January 6. Remember what's happened to them.
Remember what has happened to the pro lifers, having their doors broken down in the middle of the night, coming in to homeschoolers. This is Merrick Garland is the one that's behind this, taking his orders from Biden. This is your chance to put some justice. He's got an office in Warren, too, at 330-752-7673. That's 330-752-7673.
And he's got one in Ravenna. And that's 330-357-4139. That's Ohio Congressman David Joyce.
He's the only Republican that voted not to hold Merrick Garland in contempt of court. OK, we're going to get into the message. And the title of the message was An Abomination Times Two Pride and Sodomy. So this is this month of June.
We have there's a sign in our church and it's a big sign in our yard out there. Natural Family Month. This is we, the church, the conservatives, the Christians. We're celebrating Natural Family Month. And it starts on Mother's Day and ends on Father's Day. The sodomites are having the month of June as what they call LGBT Pride Month.
And that's what the media, Washington, D.C., all the Democrats are celebrating. And so here we've we've been talking about. We already hit on what God's word the Bible has to say about pride. Pride is an abomination in God's eyes. And so here we're going to pick it up where we left off. Let's start again in Genesis, chapter 19. Let's take a verse at a time. And there came two angels to Sodom at evening. And Lot said in the gate of Sodom, seeing them, rose up to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground. Now, the fact, Richard, that Lot was was sitting in the gate of the city when Lot came to Sodom, did he come with him just in his family? He came with quite a bit of riches. He came with a whole lot of people with him, all of the people they divided.
Absolutely. And Sodom was not a small city. They said it had a population of about a million people. OK. And so here he's sitting in the city means that he is a high official and most historians believe he was the mayor, the mayor of Sodom. When he came in with all of those people with him, it wouldn't be hard for him to get elected, would it?
That's for sure. And he was sitting at the gate, so he was there to make any kind of judgment. A lot of people would come in or come to the gate for certain judgments, as we saw in the Book of Ruth.
That's all the politics. The politics were made there, were done there. The judicial also, a lot of here, the merchants were sent there. A lot of trade was done there.
In fact, in those days, too, in the gates of the city is where they had their slave trade, where they would sell their enemies. And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn and I pray you that your servant's house and Terry all night, wash your feet and you shall rise up early and go on your ways. And they said nay, but we will abide in the streets all night. Now, in the previous passage, we found out that God had only found one righteous man in all of Sodom. OK, that was Lot. OK, he was the only one.
And so here now, Lot has these two angels, but at this point, he doesn't know that they're angels. And so here he does not want them to spend the night in the city because he knows this city, believe it or not. This city was worse than San Francisco.
This city was worse than New York or Chicago. How do we know that? Well, when we get to verse four, we'll see. And they passed upon the. And he pressed upon them greatly. They turned in to him and entered into his house and he made them a feast. And he did bake unleavened bread and they did eat. And before they lay down the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, these were the LGBT Democrats. These were the Democrats of that day. Compass the house around about both old and young.
Now listen to this. And all the people, all the people from every quarter. So that tells you that that that whole city was corrupted. And they called under a lot and said to him, where are the men which came into the this night and bring them out into us that we may know them? And lot went out at the door when they said that we may know them. They weren't just extending hospitality, were they? Now that was referring to a sodomite act.
Yeah. A lot went out at the door to them and shut the door after him. And he said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. Behold, now I have two daughters which have not known men. Let me pray. Let me I pray you bring them out into you and you do to them as good as in your eyes. Only into these men do nothing.
But therefore, it came they under the shadow of my roof. Now, does that seem absolutely ludicrous to you? I know when I preach this message in church on Sunday. I said, there's not a man, not one man in this church that wouldn't fight to the death to protect their daughters, protect his daughters.
Yes. And I said, but not only that. I said, there's not a man in this church that wouldn't fight to the death to protect everyone, every single woman in this church.
OK. Any of the ladies. OK. So how would you justify this? Why? Why do you think that this isn't the only case you're going to find?
Also, when we get the judges, the same thing happened. OK. Now, why do you think he would do that? OK. Let's ask Wendy. She's smartest can be. Hey, Wendy.
Hey. Why do you think that they would do something that seems absolutely totally cowardly and ludicrous to us? I guess the culture of the time, you know, a lot had a duty to protect the stranger that was under his roof. Other than that, I wouldn't know. Well, you know, first of all, you were right. The culture of the time, any you had to that was hospitality.
And it would be a terrible insult on you to not take in and to not protect the stranger. But that in those days to a wife and a wife would have standing. The first born male, the first born male son would have standing. Other than that, the children, because often they would have a number of wives and they'd have a lot of children. OK. Children were more like servants. And it wasn't uncommon that these guys would sell their daughters, you know, and sell them into the men.
They didn't sell the men because they needed them to do work. But there would be often they could would sell the daughters to someone who would say they wanted to marry them, take them for a wife. And, you know, they would they treated them often more like servants or slaves. And so here we say. And they said, stand back. And they said again, this one fellow came in to sojourn and he he will need to be a judge. Now we'll deal worse with thee than with them. And they press sore upon the man even lot game near to break down the door. So they're saying, look here, where did you come from?
You came here from no place. All of a sudden. And now you're telling everybody what to do here.
OK. And so he said, no, we're going to teach you a lesson. But the men put forth their hands and pulled a lot into the house to them and shut the door. And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they wearied themselves to find the door. Now, here is the last thing I'd want to worry about is finding the door if I was blind all of a sudden. Well, there's there's two kinds of blindness to you have the physical blindness where they literally couldn't see. Then you've got the mental blindness of the reprobate. Look, remember when Jesus first time he was preaching and they picked up stones, they wanted to stone him. OK. And he made himself invisible to walk right through them. They didn't see him. OK. You had times out there with Elijah and it's and he was the army was said to take Elijah and they were surrounded by chariots of fire and they couldn't seal.
OK. But so you have both types of blindness. I believe they're both the mental and the the physical blindness in this situation. And so but could you imagine that they were so. So completely reprobate that they're groping around blind.
Trying to get trying to find the men. Yeah, that's that's a real mental. That's the thing. That's thing about sodomy is sodomy. The people are very wicked.
They really are. There's there's no gentle and loving thing, especially if somebody turns against them. They're very bitter and very mean. Yeah, we've seen it was it was ironic where you had a mean on mean there in New York. You had the sodomites were marching and Hamas and you were marching and they clashed.
They wouldn't. They went after the Hamas attacked the sodomites. And so. And the men said until it has though here any besides the sun law and my sons and my daughters and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place where we will destroy this place because the cry of them is waxing great before the face of the Lord. And the Lord has sent us to destroy it. And lot went out and spake unto his son in laws which married his daughters and said, Get up you out of this place for the Lord will destroy this place. But it seemed as one that mocked unto his sons and sons along other words.
What are you talking about? The Lord is who is the Lord? He's going to destroy this place, right? Yeah, this you know, this is interesting account here with lot is here's another man that is righteous in God's sight. Well, God's willing to save him, but his his preaching he hasn't touched the hearts of even his daughters that are married. Yeah, he has us just two daughters at home and his wife and we see his wife isn't that solid on his beliefs either what happened to her.
But that's that's typical. Look at Noah. 120 years he preached for 120 years and the only converse were three sons and their wives and his wife. It kind of makes you wonder at times. I mean, I've seen that it's the hearts of the people. Didn't Abraham plead with the Lord, you know, you know, if there was 10 people?
What do you know? He started out with 50 and he got down to 10. It was the Lord knew he was going to do that. I mean, God expected him to do this. And so when he got down to 10 and God said, yeah, for 10, but he knew that there wasn't 10 righteous men. He knew the lot was the only one there.
OK, wow. And so and so here and when the morning rose and the angels hastened a lot, saying, Arise and take thy wife and two daughters which are here, lest they be consumed in the iniquity of the city. And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand and upon the hand of his wife and upon the hand of his two daughters and the Lord being merciful. Now, remember, he used a term back in verse 19. When he when he referred to. That decided to go more that the said was very grievous.
That was the first time that word was used. Very grievous. And that that word for.
Very grievous that he used there was gross, gross wickedness, gross wickedness was the definition. And so here. He goes on to say.
And while. And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand and upon the hand of his wife and upon the hand of his two daughters and the Lord being merciful unto him, and they brought him forth and set him outside without the city. And it came to pass that when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for that life. Look not behind thee.
Neither stay, though, in in all the planes, escape to the mountains. Thus thou should be consumed. And so here. And last said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord. Behold now thy servant have found grace in thy sight and that thou has magnified his mercy.
This is the first time the word mercy is used in the Bible. And it's here when he said magnified. Boy, he was right. He had magnified.
He the Lord had tolerated a lot. First of all, when he told Abraham that Sarah was going to conceive, Sarah laughed within herself. And she said, Yeah, like I'm like at my age, I'm going to conceive. Right. And when the Lord said to, Why do you laugh, Sarah? And Sarah says, I didn't laugh.
Well, now think about this. She lied to God to his face. Right. And but she didn't physically laugh.
She laughed within herself. Right. And so. So here and now.
Now you've got Abraham trying to Dicker with God, trying to Dicker, getting him down. OK, from 50 to 10. Yeah.
And they still couldn't get 10. Right. And so. So when he said magnify his mercy, boy, he was right.
And now has showed him to me my saving and saving my life. And I cannot escape to the mountain unless some evil take me and I die. Why do you think why do you think he did want to go to the mountains? What was in the mountains that he feared? Another type of people. Yeah, you had people you had thugs and you have but wild animals.
You had wild beasts out there, too. I'm thinking they didn't carry anything out with them. They were taken out in haste. Yeah, I have nothing.
They have nothing. But they're close. Absolutely. So were there sodomite dwelling mountaineers? Were there sodomites in the mountains?
Yeah, maybe that's why. I know they thought of my very movie. Pardon?
Sounds like a scary horror movie. Yes. But even today, sin is drawn into the cities. And the cities is where you have your sodomy, where you have your murder. You have your even today. If you look at New York, look at Philadelphia, look at Chicago.
Look at they're all run by Democrats. And that's where you have things haven't changed. But Lot was a lot was a city person. He wanted he wanted that city life. And he wanted to be in a town or a city.
And the mountains were like, I'm not going to go live in the wilderness. Yeah. So behold, now the city is near to flee into. And this is a little one. So let me escape tither.
Is it not a little one? My soul shall shall live. He was talking about zores when he was talking about there were five planes of this city.
And God turned them all into parking lots. And he said unto him, See, I have accepted this concerning me on this thing also. And I will overthrow this city for which thou has spoke. I will not overthrow this city for which thou has spoken.
Hastie, escape tither, for I am for I cannot do anything until thou become tither. Therefore, the name of the city was called Zor. And the sun was risen upon the earth and the lot entered into Zor. Then the Lord rained unto Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from out of heaven and overthrew the cities and all the plane and all the inhabitants of the cities. And that's which grew up on the ground. But his wife looked back from behind him and became a pillar of salt. To this very day, there is a pillar of salt there on the plan.
There's not a plant growing and those planes there. There's a pillar of salt stands about three feet high. And people say that that was Lot's wife. But here, this was a type of if you look at it, there's several types of raptures. You know what?
Take instead of breaking on the other side of the break, I'm going to finish this. I feel so certain about this faith of mine. I'm hanging in there doing fine. King Jesus is a friend of mine. I'm blessed by you. Saving babies, teaching sinners, hell's for losers, heaven's for winners.
This work is not for big ends. I'm blessed by you. I'm coming home someday. Heaven's my wife. I'm blessed by you. Where the saints all stay and little children play. I'm blessed by you.
Where the saints of old walk on streets of gold. I know that I will see that heavenly prize. It's no surprise how happy I'll be. Gonna see my family again. Gonna be with long lost friends.
Maybe soon I don't go. I'm blessed by you. Gaming treasures, preaching sinners, hell's for losers, heaven's for winners.
This work is not for big ends. I'm blessed by you. I'm coming home someday. Heaven's my wife. I'm blessed by you. Where the saints all stay and little children play. I'm blessed by you.
Where the saints of old walk on streets of gold. I know that I will see my mansion on high through glorified eyes. I'll have me I'll be. Where his glory shines, there I'll apply on those golden shoulders. I'll be satisfied. Oh, some bright day gonna fly away. It's there I'll stay. I'll be there with you cause your words are darkness.
I'm blessed by you. All right, I'm going to pick it up verse 30 and lot went up on his door and dwelt in the mountain and his two daughters. This was a type of the rapture. You have several several types of shadows of the rapture one. The flood was the type of the rapture and Genesis the flood on Genesis six.
Why was that? Well, what happened? They were on the ark. The ark was a type of Christ. They went up above the water rose above the mountains and down below judgment was taking place.
When they crossed the Red Sea, what would happen? When God took his people up out of the Red Sea. And while they were up on the mountain down below God's judgment was taking place.
Now here he's taken lot up and out up into the mountains and down below the judgments taking place. And his two daughters with him for he feared to dwell in the door and dwelt in a cave. He and his two daughters and the firstborn said into the younger one. Our father is old and there is not a man in the earth to come into us after the manner of all the earth.
Come let us gather our father and drink wine and we will lie with him and we will make will preserve the seed of our father. And they made their father drink wine that night. And the firstborn went in and lay with their father. And he perceived not when she laid down nor when she rose.
Boy he must have really been drunk. And it came to pass in the morning that the firstborn said to the younger. Behold I lay yes tonight with my father let us make him drink wine this night also and go thou and lie with him that we may preserve the seed of our father. And they made their father drink wine that night and the younger rose and lay with him and he perceived not when she laid down and when she rose. Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father. And the first bearer's son and called his name Mob the same as the father of the Mobites to this day.
And the younger also bear a son and called his name Benamhi the same as the father of the children of Ammon to this day. Those sort of people they were warring with right? Alright and so here it looks like the women in Lot's family didn't have very good discernment huh?
No they didn't. It looks like the mother you know the daughters took after the mother after all she was Mrs. Lot she was somebody she was didn't want to leave that city. But here why do you think that they they feared to stay in Zor here? Well I think they they were thinking that that would be destroyed too or was destroyed. Well it was after Lot left but here the people of Zor saw what was happening in Sodom and all of a sudden these people came from there with these angels. And what do you think that they would there was going to be real happy to have them come into their city after what just happened? My guess is they said keep going okay and so we're going to stop right there and we're going to go over to Miss Wendy Wilson. She always has some very very interesting subjects for us and my guess is she's got a very interesting subject tonight too.
Well I hope so. I want to talk about some herbs that science has published reports on that inhibit viruses for colds and flu. And because summer is going to be fleeting and we're going to be in cold and flu season soon. But this these reports they came across are very empowering to the listener because we live in times pastor where we're not in any virus free zones anymore. So we're hearing a lot about viruses on a regular basis and a majority of the reports that we're hearing are kind of concerning. And rarely does the public hear about natural therapies that assist the body to defend itself against viruses. And often the public is told their immune system is inadequate and they need to get it protected against viruses with alternative medical treatments. So sometimes you know we find some scientific research actually confirms that there are some natural plant sources that not only help fight against viral pathogens but also to run circles around the promoted drug therapy.
So I thought we'd talk about that. This is a study. This was a study that we found that was talking about the corona and the enteroviruses.
We've heard a lot about that in the last four years. But what we haven't heard about is that a common and affordable herb inhibits these viruses and medical science is calling this an anti-corona and an anti-enterovirus solution. Now research from the National Library of Medicine Center for Biotechnology reported on this November 2023. They said willow bark inhibits pandemic-like viruses like corona and enterovirus. And the research was published in the November 2023 Journal of Frontiers in Microbiology.
The report said this, recurring viral outbreaks have a significant negative impact on society. This creates a need to develop novel strategies to complement the existing antiviral approaches. And there is a need for safe and sustainable antiviral solutions derived from nature. They add willow bark has long been recognized for its medicinal properties and has been used in traditional medicine.
However, its potential as a broad spectrum antiviral agent remains relatively unexplored. So what the public may expect in the future is a pharmaceutical drug that they may derive from willow bark and sold as a prescribed drug at drug prices. Now the difference in organic willow bark tinctures and the prescribed drug made from a selected property from willow bark is that the drug offers side effects. Because they have to patent their drug therapy and it has to come with a significant change from what God made. Do you know what drug they made from willow bark in 1940?
No. It's aspirin. Oh, yeah, that's right. Yeah, willow bark has salicin and so what they did is they extracted salicin and they left the rest of the plant alkaloids behind and they call it fractionalizing the plant alkaloids. And it became acetysalicylic acid and that's what aspirin is today. But since it's changed, it can create a bleeding issue and it can also interfere with the immune system by lowering fever. But salicin in its whole food state doesn't do that. So when you have science changing what God created, you get side effects.
That's the lesson there. So it alters pretty much when they change it, it alters how it works in the body. Frontiers in Microbiology Report says the native willow bark extract samples demonstrate an excellent antiviral potential against non-enveloped and enveloped enteroviruses in, get this, pastor, 45 seconds. This herb destroys these viruses in 45 seconds.
Wow. That's pretty quick. They were actually said they were equally effective against seasonal and pandemic coronaviruses. They also added confocal microscopy verified the loss of infectious capability by the spike proteins. Time of addition studies demonstrated the willow bark extract had a direct effect on the virus and its particles and it caused visible changes in the coronavirus structure. Willow bark extracts contain several virucidal agents, in other words it kills the pathogens, that are likely to act synergistically and directly on the virus. So God's willow bark made quick work of it.
That's what that means. Now there was another study, pastor. This was published in the News Medical Life Sciences Journal in November 2023. It stated willow bark is a candidate for new viral drugs. Research was carried out in Finland and science is discovering that many herbs, including willow bark, are very beneficial for the common cold and pandemic influenza. Now such herbs are so good against infectious pathogens that science wants to make their drug therapies from them. However, drug therapies require prescriptions from medical physicians.
They include an office visit usually and prescription costs. And as we pointed out, not all will perform the same as the original herb when you alter it. News Medical Life Sciences says this, we need safe, sustainable antiviral options to treat the outbreaks of the future and willow bark has a broad spectrum antiviral effect in cell sample experiments. So pastor, this isn't the first time science has tapped into a lot of properties in herbs like I mentioned in 1940. You've got your aspirin. Now the Finnish scientists confirmed that scientists reported in the Journal of Frontiers with the addition of the willow bark was also effective against meningitis.
That was an added bonus. Yeah, so News Medical Science also says there are no clinical approved drugs which work against enteroviruses directly. So the willow bark extract they said could be a game changer.
What do you mean could be? It already is. It kicks it to the curb and you're petri dish right there. So willow bark is already the game changer and it's been that way for thousands of years. But the problem science has is they can't copy nature. It has to significantly change it in order to acquire the patent, make the millions of dollars that they demand. Because it's kind of a tragedy really that modern medicine doesn't like to accept that wellness comes from natural nutrition.
They just don't go there. So according to University of Finland they said the need broadly acting, we need broadly acting and efficient tools to combat virus load in our everyday life. Vaccinations they say are important but they cannot deal with many of the newly emerging serotypes early enough to be effective on their own. Well, in both these studies the scientists did what they normally do. And they're trying to find out what is in the plant that makes it work like that. And they fractionalize the plant compounds and test each one against the pathogen hoping they have isolated that compound and they can use it to make their drugs.
But this is what happened, Pastor. With the willow bark they found that each of the isolated compounds had no effect on the virus. But when they were combined together like they are in original state they offered this excellent synergistic effect and they killed the pathogen. So they're out of quandary now. How do we make something from this? We have to combine all the elements and it's back in its original form. We're probably not going to get a patent. So then we're not going to get a patent. We're not going to make millions and billions of dollars. So do you suppose patients are going to hear about this?
No, I don't think so. Exactly. So they said we need to understand the value active compounds involved.
We need to understand the chemical structure and how it works. Potentially lead into a revolutionary new antiviral treatment. You already got willow bark. Use that. Hey, Pastor, do you know what famous president used willow bark? Let me take a guess. Was it Roosevelt? Teddy.
Huh? Teddy Roosevelt? Nope. Nope. It was Washington. Oh. Okay, the winter valley forage where they didn't have any food. Remember that?
Well, I wasn't alive then, but I know about it. His food says they were low on food sources. So what Washington and his troops did is they took bark from the willow bark tree and made tea and drank the tea and it sustained his men.
Pack full of minerals and nutrition, they drank bark tea and it worked. Wow. Okay. So. Yeah.
Go ahead. The process, because I was thinking about that, how would you do that out of the bark? I know that you don't make a tea out of it, or do you? Well, I mean, with barks and resins, usually if you're going to make tinctures or extracts, you usually use pretty potent alcohol-based stuff.
You know, something stronger than 80 proof, usually 100 proof for barks and resins. Well, they didn't have that, but they made tea. Now, tea made an infusion out of the bark. So the tea, the hot tea, released just enough of the photo nutrition in the bark and it entered the tea itself and they drank it and they were able to extract a lot of the nutrition out of the bark. I know that they used to use, at that time, pine needle too. They made pine tea out of pine needles. Exactly.
Yeah. So, yeah, if you think about shrubbery like trees, their roots go pretty deep and they're pulling minerals up out of there. So it's in the tree itself. It's in the bark.
So... Mindy. Moolah bark is not bitter. It's not hot and spicy. It's very mild, but it has a bit of an astringent action. And so if you're drinking the tea, you may feel like it's almost like you're drinking a dry wine or something.
It makes you pucker a little bit, you know. But basically, we have tools. So there are additional herbs that the Lord's made to offer broad-spectrum protection against infectious pathogens. And many of them, scientists, try to determine what secrets they hold. For instance, there's over a hundred studies on garlic. They're trying to figure out how garlic can kill viruses, bacteria, and fungi, but they haven't been able to crack the code. And many of the immune support herbs that we have, like echinacea root and astraglius root, these herbs are highly effective without any toxicity or side effects. So currently, the U.S., these herbs are readily available to us here in the United States. Now, people of the European Union, some of those countries have started to recategorize a lot of these herbs, and they're calling them drugs and require prescriptions. So America is one of the last countries to categorize herbs as a food source and not a drug. So we need to guard against that status ever being changed, or we would be subject to the drug companies.
Wendy, can I ask you a quick question? Yeah. You mentioned willow bark is effective against pandemic influenza. Does that include the bird flu?
Yes, that will. It's a virus. That's the H1.
I think it's the HN5-2 that they're worried about now, not the 5-1, but the 5-2. So if bird flu is this so-called disease X, that would be the solution? Yeah. Willow bark.
Okay. Get you some willow bark. Yeah, I mean, I like to, willow bark is a nice anti-inflammatory, and it's also a pain reliever. It's not like you're heavy hitting over-the-counter stuff. It kind of lifts pain and inflammation gently, and it's very, very effective. So it's not like an opioid or anithenaminophen or anything like that.
It's God's way of dealing with pain and inflammation. And a lot of our herbs that we have are for serious pain. Well, we can't really use them. We have difficulty getting them. Cannabis is one, and poppy, those are pain herbs, and those have been highly regulated and restricted.
So we have tools. It's just, you know, we've not been using them, more trusting in them, but people are starting to gravitate back to the natural therapies because they're not toxic. They don't offer side effects.
They're usually handy and available, and they don't cost a lot of money. How is the willow bark used? As a tea? Well, teas are going to be your weakest as far as potency. Tablets and capsules, a little bit more potent, but your extracts, also known as tinctures, these are, if they're made correctly, they're aged. Like wine is aged, and you allow time for the photo nutrition of the plant to enter the catalyst, which is usually alcohol.
Usually 80 proof is sufficient. Sometimes some herbs that have lots of alkaloids need to have a combination of alcohol and, let's say, vinegar. Vinegar's a nice catalyst, too.
So you want to pull all of them. So sometimes you have to add vinegar to it. But your liquids don't need digestion. They go into the system in 60 seconds. That's what these reports were saying. They tested extracts, and they saw in less than 60 seconds that this herb kills these viruses. Also, I know that the dandelion root, cancer cells can't live in that petri dish that you're talking about. Yeah, that was research from Windsor Medical University out of Quebec, Canada. Dr. Carolyn Ham happened to notice her leukemia patients on Tuesdays.
Their blood work improved. And so she did a little investigating and found that the only thing different on Tuesday was all her patients were served dandelion root tea. So she took this information down to the lab to biochemist Miriam Pandey, or Cy Miriam Pandey, and asked him if he could figure out why that was. And so he tested, not tea, but an extract against cancer cells he had. He kept testing all these cells, different types of cancer cells. And his report was it killed all known cancer cells. So he noticed that healthy cells don't touch it, but cancer cells suck it up greedily, and it makes the cancer commit suicide and die.
So the other report I read out of science was they found milk thistle prevents the spread of cancer cells, so it keeps it from metastasizing. And this is all scientific research, but science is trying to find a way to make expensive drugs out of these herbs, but you already have these herbs. And this is the same problem Rockefeller had prior to 1940. He had tried to convince his physicians of the day in the 1930s, you know, they graduated from natural healing school, so these doctors were healing people with plants and diets and stuff. And so Rockefeller could not convince the doctors of that day to use the petrochemical drug therapy. They said, well, why would we use that when we have this plant works just fine? So Rockefeller, over a 10-year period, went through a process of eliminating competition.
That's the only way he could survive. He created the AMA, he published the Journal of American Medical Association, and then he invited all the heads of the natural healing schools to come under the AMA umbrella, let's work together. Let's synergistically, you know, work and help each other. And so when the heads of the schools agreed and signed an agreement, came under the umbrella then Rockefeller, he hired a third party Magellan group to investigate and inspect all the schools, AMA and natural healing.
And the natural healing schools fell below par and under the agreement, they all had to be closed. So that's how we lost our natural healing herbal medicine doctors and went to the AMA petrochemical therapy doctors. Well, I know that there's a push to go back to that. I know more and more coming out and I know with the frontline doctors, many of them are, you know, they prescribe natural herbs too. Yeah, yeah. And you know, your homeopathic physicians, they're out there, you know, but lots of states like New York, New York doesn't allow homeopathic doctors in their state.
Well, I have Dr. Glidden on here once a month and we have a lot of people from New York are buying his products and you know, so you know, that works a lot. Yeah. Well, what does God say from Genesis to Revelation? Pastor herbs are here for the service of man and the healing of the nations. Absolutely.
So God can't lie. So I mean, we're encouraged to use them. Well, here's my question, do you have a good supply of willow bark texture? We do.
Actually, we have two options. We have the regular standard version of the extract. We call it a tincture. And then we have an extra strength version, which is a double tincture, which takes longer to age. And as you age things, they get more potent.
So we have two versions, regular and extra strength. That didn't work that way with me. It didn't work that way with you? Aging didn't make me more potent. Okay, okay. There's still hope though. You know, when you were mentoring, you know, that willow bark made you pucker.
You know, I pucker just for fun. Well, pastor, and there's this shift as you've pointed out and you've noticed is, this was the office of the national drug control policy. They said the U.S. drug sales in 2013 were $100 billion. And then the U.S. pharmaceutical market report in 2023 said the U.S. sales dropped to $0.52 billion. That's a big drop.
I guess so. So why do you suppose we dropped so much in the United States, prescription medication dropped? Well, there's several reasons.
There was an increase in cost in prescriptions, increased cost in health insurance, economic inflation, drug availability issues, and also the public's increased interest in natural medicine. All right. I've got to get, I've got to let the folks know that they can go up on the web and to powerherbs.com, the powerherbs.com, or they could call 866-229-3663.
That's 866-229-3663. Get your catalog. We're coming up to a break here in just a few seconds. So you're welcome to stay with us for a while if you want. Okay. What are you going to talk about? Well, we have, well, one of the things about Merrick Garland, okay, that's in the news. So, uh, hang tight.
How much time? All right. Yeah. We're going to talk about Merrick Garland and you'll want to hear about this because we have to get this guy. Uh, we got to give him back what he's doing to us. Some of the people.
