Okay. We're we're back. My producer and co-host tonight is Josh Booth. You got control of that? It was Okay, it looks like the devil was in the details again.
Already, here. Title of this message is Eve the first and only in every way. But before we go there, We have uh an urgent prayer request tonight, so I'm calling on you prayer warriors all over the country out there Remember, what God's word in the Bible says about prayer, there's power in prayer. There's power in prayer. And Every one of you out there at one time or another will need prayer either now or sometime, but you will.
And God's word, the Bible, is very clear. Those that show mercy receive it now. We have one of our patriots. Uh Jim McNeil. He has a very, very serious body infection right now.
And it's Uh some kind of um An infection. That Yeah. that bacterial type of thing that Antibiotics has very, very little effect of it. Uh it's one of those that is Very, very anti-resistant to all the antibiotics, biotics we have. In fact, A part of this uh This Here infection actually comes from.
The use of antibiotics to some degree, but anyhow.
So we have a man who's very ill right now and he needs your prayers.
So if you would join with me in this We would appreciate it. Heavenly Father, Lord God, I want to hold Jim up right now. Father, uh Jim's been a patriot. He loves you with all of his heart. He's been a doer of the word of other And he needs some help right now, tonight.
He needs some help. Uh often when when the time comes when Men have very little answers. Lord, you have all the answers So we're asking, Father, that you would intercede on his behalf that you might touch him, that you might might heal him. If the antibiotics and those don't work, Father God, we know all you have to do is say the word, be healed, be whole. And he'll be up and running.
And so, Lord, that's what we're asking you to do. uh tonight for Jim. This we ask in Jesus' name. Amen. And so Here.
The title again in the message was Eve the First and only one in every way. And we're going to get into that because there are so many very, very interesting things. Um where where Eve was the first and only And so many areas that it's just amazing when you stop and think about it.
So we're going to start tonight in Genesis chapter 2. 2 and verse 20. And Adam gave names to all the cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast. of the field But for Adam there was not found a helpmate for him. And so Can you imagine this j Jush?
What it What kind of an intellect do you think you would have to have? to give names And you did you gave it names by descriptions of all the beasts out there. How do you what kind of intellect do you think you'd have to have to do that? You'd have to be pretty smart. Very extremely high IQ, wouldn't you?
And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam. And he slept, and he took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh instead. Uh do you think Do you think Adam needed Uh anything for pain? I'm going to say no. And what would you base that on?
Just because if God was doing it, then he is the perfect surgeon and you he wouldn't have to put any give him anything for pain, that he would just be able to take that rib out and Adam wouldn't know.
Well, that would be true too, but Remember, at this point sin had not entered into the world, so there was no pain. There was no pain at this point. And so here now And the rib which the Lord God had. taken from men. Made he a woman.
and brought her unto the men.
Now Can you tell me How this well Let me just say it this way. What percentage of men born in this world came from a woman. Even the woke Democrats Maybe they came from test tubes, but I would say maybe 99.99%. Yeah.
Well, you were right with 100%. 100%. of men came out of a woman.
Okay. Now this is the one and only time Ever That a woman came from a man. That a woman came out of a man. And so Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. she should be called woman.
because she was taken out of man.
Well That's true, but there was another reason and we'll get to that why she was because, uh, Should why she was named Eve, too.
Okay, so Because she was taken out of man she was referred to Actually That that woe means under man, out under man. Or you could just say out of, man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother and his mother. and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh. Uh it Do you think Adam and Eve did that?
Uh what's that? Let me read it again. Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh. Uh, they probably did, but they didn't have they didn't have to leave their father and mother. They didn't have a father and mother, did they?
They had a creator. and that was in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ himself.
So but they didn't have A mother. And we're going to take a look at a whole list of things as we go through here. Uh Which which is actually amazing, if you will. How does how does it come across now? When it when they should become one flesh.
What do you think he meant by then? Procreation.
Okay. So it's the institution of the home is the first and the most basic human. Institution right. It was intended to be monoganous. It was The guy made it that way meant one man for one woman, didn't he?
And to begin with and permanent until death now.
Well how d do they be I mean, you have two people, how do two people become one flesh?
Well, they were to pro procreate when the sperm of the man Meets the egg of the woman. Is there a new person created? Yes, there is. And that's one flesh, and one flesh here. and they were both naked, The man and his wife And they were not ashamed.
Why do you think that they were they were not ashamed being naked? Because they didn't know that they were. And they had no idea of, like you said, they had no idea of pain, and they had no idea of shame because. Uh the ev evil had not entered the world yet.
So The very first command that God gave Man was to do what? Be fruitful, multiply. And uh when they were to procreate being naked kind of helped along, didn't it? And sure do. And so They had no idea.
Uh there was no shame there because they were they were in compliance, they were doing the right thing. At that time, that would have been the right thing. Had they at that time actually covered himself up, it would have been the wrong thing to do at this time. But that changed in a hurry Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field. When the Lord God had made And he said unto the woman, Yea Hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden.
All right, the serpent Lucifer here comes along. And Uh what is wrong with the depictions that we see when you when you take a look at Yacino? and the cartoons and A lot of the portraits of that you see a picture of a a tree and you see uh a naked man and a woman in a garden and Here Uh you see this serpent wrapped around a tree with a long tongue coming out? What's wrong with that picture? You don't know if it actually is a sermon that's the Evil.
Well, actually at that point Satan was the most beautiful creation that God had ever created. the most beautiful. In Ezekiel twenty eight, verses twelve and thirteen, the Lord tells them, you know, you are perfect. perfect in from the day of your creation in all the ways, And for a vesture Satan had rubies and diamonds and onyx, and all of these precious stones. For a vesture.
Okay. Satan walked upon two feet like a man. He was just picture. the most handsome man you've ever met. And that's what you would have uh here with Satan.
the most handsome man that you would ever meet.
So now Here he he appears.
Well, And He said Yeah, hath God said, You shall not eat of the tree of the garden. And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden. But of the fruit of the tree Which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die. Is that what God told her? Yeah.
Uh well he told her Not to eat the fruit, right?
Well, actually he didn't at all. He told Adam. You see, God had spoken to Adam. Eve wasn't even around at this time first. Two seventeen.
But of the tree?
Well, let me go to 216. And the Lord commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayst freely eat but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. You see he tells them there that Thou shalt not eat of it, for in the day that thou shalt eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die. And so here now, he never actually told Eve that. Eve wasn't here yet, okay, but Uh Here Okay.
Uh Adam had instructed Eve. Adam had told Eve. And so now what do we have here? You've got Eve. And and she has only been in the presence of of Satan for just a short period of time.
And already she's not telling the whole truth. The influence is already on her, huh? And so What does Scripture say about adding to or taking away from the Word of God? You can't do it. Yeah, well, it says that you'll take away her at two, the plagues that are in it or the.
uh blessings that are in it, huh?
So he she goes on, and the serpent said unto the woman, You shall not surely die. For God doth know that in the day you eat thereof, Then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods becoming good and earth. knowing good and evil.
Now What do you think it was here Satan was the most beautiful creation, the most handsome individual God ever created. But Abe was a prototype. She was the second most beautiful she was the most beautiful woman that ever existed. She was a prototype nymph. You know, if you go back.
And uh Before the flood A lot of the bones in that that were dug up of people that perished. Back in those days, pre-flood. We're much, much larger than we are. The whole world, everything was bigger. Everything was more large.
The oxygen content. uh was so much greater. Um And so The average man looked appeared to be between twelve and fourteen feet tall. the average woman between ten and twelve feet tall. Yeah.
And so Here now, just picture. Eve. Far more beautiful than any woman we've ever seen, okay. with real beauty. And so what would attract Uh the second most beautiful creature more than the third most first most beautiful creature.
When you have a vesture that's made of diamonds and rubies and and precious stones. Who does that attract? Would that be does that attract women or men more? Women. Yeah, by a long shot, by a whole long shot.
Uh, you know, I have one piece of jewelry that I own. That's my wedding ring, that's it. I can't say that about my wife, though. But she certainly has A whole lot more than that. And And so now here he goes on to say.
But what about what about this truth? There's nothing more dangerous. Then a lie The only thing more dangerous than a flat out lie is a half truth, eh? When you you mix a little bit of truth into a lie. Why do you think that would be more dangerous?
What was that again? If you take and mix a little bit of truth, if you have a half truth, Satan goes here and he tells a half of truth. And so You know, if you're when when you have uh these con men. These conmen did you know that Uh Twenty percent of all the seniors in the United States Twenty percent have been victims of con men. Did you know that?
I believe I did. One out of five. One out of five. Okay. And so, but here How do they do it?
Well, They'll know that there's cert certain things that you do know.
So when they when they go to con you, they'll say some of the things that that you know to be true. Uh and they'll mix it in the wither con. And that's And this is what Satan is doing here. He's got a half of truth here. He says For God doth know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be open, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
Okay, well let me go back to verse four first. Yeah.
And the servant said unto the woman, You shall surely not die.
Okay. Did did they die? Yeah.
Well, certainly they did. They certainly did. They're not alive today, I can tell you that. But remember, they had. Uh if they had uh Continue to eat.
You know, from the tree of life. They would have lived forever. They would have lived forever. If God had left them in that garden, they would. They were meant to live forever.
They were meant never to die.
Okay. And so here But But it actually he they died spiritually right then, didn't they? Absolutely. And so what happens Then he said, But you shall your eyes be open, and you shall be as gods. Knowing good.
and evil. And so here This part was true, so he makes a little bit of truth, and that word God is. Uh that would be remember We were made in the image of God. We were made of the image of God. And so here Later the Lord himself says they they become like us.
In other words, knowing good from evil. All right. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, In that it was pleasure, pleasant to the eyes. and a tree to be desired, to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof and did eat, and gave it also unto her husband, with her, and he did eat. No.
We see that that would be called the lust of what? The lust of the flesh That would be how did Satan remember when Jesus was out in the wilderness? What was it that Satan used to tempt him? Food and water turn his rocks into bread, huh? And uh So so the so the lust of the flesh and pleasant to the eyes also.
And so here now So she took it. And she gave it to Adam.
Now Adam Uh Yep. He had a choice. In that garden, no. Satan was the most powerful angel that God created. And normally Adam probably would not have been of a much of a match for him, But in that garden Adam was king.
In that garden Adam was king, He had the authority. He could have taken the head. off of the serpent In that garden, he could have taken Satan's head off in that. Do you think Satan knew that? Probably did.
Yeah.
Do you think Satan just showed up one day and Said Wow, that's a wonderful garden. I look out there and I see Ah, look at that that nice couple, Adam and Eve I think I'll just go in there. and uh cause some problems. I'll I'll just, you know, go and He didn't do it that way. He he'd been around for a while.
And so he the serpent would look and he would peer, right? And he would be looking for an Achilles heel, for a weak spot, look for their weak spot, right? And so With Adam he knew First of all, that his be his beauty was not going to affect Adam. It wouldn't affect at them. and he knew that Adam had the authority there in that garden.
And so He looked and he found That discernment, discernment, as intelligent as Eve was, as intelligent Discernment was her weakness. Her weakness and death So that's where he went after her.
Now Then why do they say? Because she sinned first, that that it sends into the world through datum. Why do you think they said that? Mm. Not sure.
Well, it's because Adam was in control. He was. He had But Superiority Over Eve, okay? He had the rule over her. And he had an opportunity choice to listen to God, to listen to God, or to listen to his wife.
Okay. And so what do you think what was it do you think made Adam listen to his wife? It was her beauty. Adam was totally taken back with it with her beauty, okay. And so Here if we go throughout history I'll throw it out the Bible.
There's a number of of occasions where Men had that same situation had come up. either to listen to God or to listen to their wife. And so we see in this case, Adam made the wrong choice. What about with Abraham and Sarah? Abraham listened to Sarah.
Other than God. And what did that end up with? You ended up with Ishmael? You ended up with the Arab nation.
Okay. And what did it say about uh Well, he ended up with Hagar.
Okay, and so now he had double trouble. God had told Abraham look Sarah's going to conceive. She's going to have a baby. He's going to be named Isaac. And he's going to.
He is going to be the inheritance through him will be the lineage, right?
So God told uh told uh Abraham that should that have been all Abraham needed to hear? Yeah.
Yeah.
But here comes Sarah. She says, Listen. I'm not going to allow you to be disgraced. I'm not going to allow you to be left without a male seed, okay? A son?
So she goes And she gets Hagar. And she convinces Abraham to go into Hagar, and that's wh where we come with Ishmael. If Abraham would had just listened to God, would everything have been a lot better off? Yeah.
What about uh another very good example was Ahab and Jezebel As bad as Ahab was, he was the king of Israel. And did he listen to the prophets? And God, or did he listen to his wife? He listened to Jezebel. And boy, you see what what that brought about, okay.
So here in these situations Man had a choice. And They had the responsibility. Uh to listen to God. And and not their wives.
Okay, their wives were to be what? in submission to the husbands. The the wives are supposed to be listening to the husbands, okay? And so Here. D'you think God knows what he's doing?
Yeah, he does. Yeah, I would say so. He goes on to say And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
So what does that do? Eve here. was the Very first dressmaker, wasn't she?
Okay, seamstress.
Now Uh what was the problem with First of all, They realized that they were naked then, okay?
So now conscience entered in, right? Uh they realized That uh They didn't want to stand before God naked. Today Has that always been the the uh Okay, how do we know how do we know today that we that we shouldn't walk around naked? Probably not a good idea. Yeah.
All right. Okay. So then If you were to explain this, let's say, to a nudist colony, a nudist camp, why they should not be walking around naked. What would you what would you tell them?
Well, by today's standards, you would say it's not really the right thing to do. But if you had no idea that you were naked, like back in the garden, who wouldn't really matter? Who wouldn't really matter?
Well Now they know they're naked now because their eyes were opened, okay. And remember, no longer was the the primary goal was precrea procreation. But now sin entered in, And These aprons they made of fig leaves We're not sufficient at all.
So now listen to this, okay? Uh Well because we're going to take a look at who it was that made them close. who made them close And what was the cost and what was the message, okay? In that And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden. In the cool o' the day, And Adam and his wife hid themselves From the presence of the Lord.
amongst the trees of the garden. No. From Genesis to Revelation, when the word Lord is used, when the title Lord is used. Who's it referring to? It's referring to the second person of the Trinity, the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Creator. From Genesis to Revelation, the Father. is referred to as Ho. Oh, well, as he's referred to as the father or the ancient of days, okay.
Now here Uh When we see this, this is the Lord Jesus Himself called Christophany. appearing in the form of a man walking uh through the garden. And they heard the voice of the Lord, God walking through the garden In the cool of the day And Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord, God amongst the trees of the garden. Did you Ha ha ha ha ha. Do you thi do you think God knew where they were?
Yeah, I think God knew where they were. Are you still there? Yeah, I'm here.
Okay. And he's talking. Uh Jimmy, be quiet. All right. Well we'll put him we'll have ask well, I'll tell you what, put him up, I'll ask him these questions.
See how he does what he does. Uh All right. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? No. You kinda get the feeling that God knew all along where He was, right?
And so And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, And I was afraid because I was naked and I hid myself. And he said Who told thee that thou wert naked? First of all, God knew that they were naked in fact he knew where they were.
So, what is God doing? God is presenting an opportunity here. To Adam, to do what? He's given him an opportunity. to repent, to confess his sins, to confess his sins, a confession here.
which would bring on repentance. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree whereof I commanded thee that thou Should us not eat? And the man said, The woman Thou gavest to be with me She gave me of the tree. And I did eat.
So here you have a confession. This is a confession of his sins. Cool. And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is it this what is this that thou hast done? And the woman said.
The serpent beguiled. Maybe And I did eat.
Now, do you think that maybe there was a hint maybe Adam thought, Well, You know I was doing all right, and With the lions and tigers and bears, oh yes. But I was doing good, but, you know, you gave me this woman, God, you gave me this woman, you know. D'you think maybe there might have been a hint of that in his confession? Probably. Yeah, I think so.
And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? Mm-hmm. And the woman said, Well, you know, that that serpent That serpent beguiled me and I did eat. That means he deceived me. But now she's she's confession.
That that's her confession and it's true.
Okay, he did beguile her. Within minutes But she made the decision to obey Her lust in that God, huh? Mm-hmm. And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Now, here you go. You see, now, up unto this time, The serpent was up walking around on two legs, just like us.
And he was he came in the form of a very beautiful, very handsome man.
Okay. And so here And the LORD God said unto the servant, Because thou hast done this, thou art accursed above all cattle. and above every beast of the field, upon thy belly Thou shalt go, and dust, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life.
So now, guess what? The serpent changed its shape. He changes shape altogether. Those arms and legs disappear. And he he he doesn't look anything like he just had previously here.
And this is the the form of the serpent himself. Today Satan can take any form he wants. He could take many different shapes and forms. He appears in many shapes and forms. In fact, the Bible says that Satan appears what?
As an angel of light. And so does his servants. And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field. Upon thy belly shalt thou go, and thou shalt eat eat all thou dost thou shalt eat all the days of thy life.
Now, here you come. This next verse is one of the most important verses. in the entire Bible. This is what is called The Protevangel. The Protevangel.
That means the first gospel, the very first gospel. And I will put enmity between thee. And the woman And between thy seed and her seed It shall bruise thy head. and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Okay. So now let me ask you this uh who is the woman? Eve. He was the woman, so she was the mother of all human beings, all life, huh?
Now Who is her seed? That would be Candidable. Mm well They were her physical seed, but what he's referring to This prophecy came to pass some four thousand years later. what he's referring to now let me read this again. I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed, It shall bruise thy head.
And thou shalt bruise his heel.
Now Here Uh does Satan does the world today Does it come after Christians? Because that seed is through the Lord Jesus Christ, okay? and is referring to those that that seat is Christians, And Is the world the seed of Satan is it coming after the seed of of the woman after the Christians today? Uh yeah. Yeah, in a big way.
Now, So How did how did it bruise the heel? was the Lord Jesus Christ, was he crucified, died upon a cross, a very extremely painful death?
Okay. And The persecution of his body. His body was what? The church, okay. But That was the heel.
Can you get by if your heel is bruised? Uh It's painful and sore, but can you s Can you function? Can you still work?
Okay, so now You can get by, even even you can lose a f a a foot and still get by without a foot. But what about your head? If you lose your head, can you continue? Like, even unless you say maybe a member of the Democratic Congress.
Now you're done.
Okay. Okay, you're right. M most people gotta have a head. You you gotta have your head. You can't if you lose your head, you're done.
Unto the woman he said, I will multiply thy sorrow. and thy conception in sorrow, and thou shalt bring forth children, And the desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Now Up until this time, childbirth was going to be a pleasant experience, a very pleasant experience, okay? And uh What do you think? Do you think when when women give birth, do you think it's a very pleasant experience or It can be uh painful. Uh it's pa it's pretty painful. Yeah, it's a I wouldn't want to do it, would you?
No. Tell you the truth, you know, We Christians can't really do that, okay?
Now, there are some out there that that that think that that men are having babies, okay. These are what we call the woke people, okay. But the truth is men can't have babies, can they?
So we we don't have to go through that pain now. Uh And thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. And so what is that referring to? The desire should be towards thy husband. And he shall rule over thee.
That you uh you have eyes only for Your husband. Right. The desire would be. In other words. Uh even today Uh Especially young girls today.
They need the approval Of their father. They need to, if they don't have a father of a strong male uncle or whatever. But women have a natural it's naturally they need the approval of of their husbands. And if he's a good man, That approval means a lot. Um if he's A wicked man, of course that that approval Uh Can be very damaging in some ways, okay, and so here, but they need the approval of a strong male, okay.
and that mill Has to be the head of the house. Men are to be the head of the house. If a man is of the head of his house, and he's walking with the Lord, Um The family is going to be good. The wife Uh is it obedience? From Genesis to Revelation, The one thing that God demands more than anything else is obedience.
Obedience. Mm-hmm. Men are supposed to be obedient to the Lord Jesus Christ and their wives are are obedient to their husbands. and the children obedient to their parents. And so And Adam And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife.
And has eaten of the tree. Of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it. Cursed is the ground for thy sake. In sorrow thou shalt eat all the days of thy life. He's he's reminding Adam that he was supposed to obey him and not his wife, huh?
Right. I mean Adam kind of had it that he was he was I don't know wh what's the word when you are So uh enthralled her so taken back There's a word and I can't Recall it right now. Infatuated? Yeah, well, infatuated would be that. Can you imagine now, Adam?
Remember. Adam had to name all of the animals that they created. And Looking for a helpmate. And so You're there one day and you're looking at duck bill platypuses and hippopotamuses and that And you're looking for a helpmate, and all of a sudden, boom, here's Eve. Big change, right?
So Adam is is totally infatuated wi with Eve. I mean, her beauty. Uh Again, she's a prototype, the most beautiful woman ever made. And so here now He goes on, and he says Thorns also and thistles. Shall it bring forth thee?
and thou shalt eat the herbs of the field. D'ye think God just up and and all of a sudden created thorns and thistles then? Mm-hmm. How do you think that come about now? Because Remember the garden up to this time He didn't have to do anything.
The garden was was self maintenance. It took care of itself. All he had to do was hang around there and eat. Right? Um, he he was ke the keeper and and the animals took care.
So now Mm-hmm. Here, um And they're There is some theory, some theologians believe that at this point. The animals had the ability to communicate ver verbally with men. That's a uh just a a theory that some have, okay?
Okay, and so here now He says that uh you're gonna have to do things a little differently. That was it you can eat the herbs of the field. And the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread uh until the return onto the ground. For out of it was thou taken from dust, and thou art, and to dust thou shall return. He's making a point you're gonna have to get out there and and work now.
Okay. Uh so in this you see kind of five points that take place. One sorrow because of the futility of the endless struggle against a hostile environment in the garden now. A two pain. signified by the the thorns Uh have you ever come in contact with some thorns?
Oh yeah. They can be painful, huh? Sure can. Uh Sweat. You know, remember that song, Blood, Sweat, and Tears?
So here. He was out there sweating working out there. In the garden uh Hard labour, strong hard labor. necessary to maintain life and hope in the garden. And then eventually physical death, in spite of all the efforts returning back to the dust.
We came from dust and we return back to dust, don't we? Sure, do. In fact The law of what they call Increasing entropy. In other words, it's the famous well. What is it?
The second law, I guess, of thermodynamics.
Sometimes it's called the law. A morpholis. Orpholysis. That means uh It's just totally The reality is It's exactly In total opposition. Devolution, isn't it?
Evolution says things are getting better.
Okay. Uh But the reality is things are not th they're wearing down. They're wearing down, not getting better. This whole earth is wearing down. Uh the plants, the animals, are much smaller than they used to be.
Life spans are much, much less than they used to be, okay? And so He goes on, And Adam called his wife Eve. Do you know why he called her Eve? I do not Because that's in Hebrew that's meant life, life because she was the mother of all living. And that's what that word Adam Eve means, life.
Unto Adam also and his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and cold them now. Listen, if God Himself makes clothes and puts em on men. Does that tell us that we're not supposed to be running around naked? Yeah.
Yeah.
You got the memos, they say, right? And the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become as one of us to know good and evil. And now lest he put forth. his hand and take also of the tree of life. and eat and live forever.
So as long as he would have been eaten from that tree, he'd a lived forever, huh? Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden. The fill to till the ground from whence he was taken.
So he drove out the man, and he placed at the east of the garden, I've eaten cherubums With flaming swords which returned every way to keep the way of the tree of life. In other words, Uh We're going to take a look at a few of the things about Eve on his Mother's Day. First of all, Eve was the first mother, wasn't she? Yeah.
She was the first woman that had no relatives. Eve didn't have a mother. didn't have an aunt, didn't have a sister, Didn't have a brother or no even had no relatives k n can you? Just for a minute try to think. Wrap your head around existing without without having any relatives?
No, I can't. it's it's a little bit hard if you really think on it to The try to get Wrap your brain around. And so here She was the very first woman to live upon the face of the earth, wasn't she? She was. Uh She was the The very first wife.
She was the very first wife. She was the very first mother. She was the very first to give birth. To both male and females, wasn't she? Yeah, where we have a Let me ask you this.
Today women Women give birth up t up up till around the age forty, don't they? I mean, that's what they call uh their clock, they call it their clock. Usually.
Okay. And the reason for that is because they lived to be around eighty. Between eighty and eighty five.
So for half of their life they can Uh procreate and give ch children.
Now Check it out. Women usually outlive their husbands. And if that was the case with Eve, Adam lived nine hundred and sixty something years.
So that means that Eve Could have been having children for about almost five hundred years. Can you think of that? How many children do you think you could have in 500 years? Quite a few.
Well, those those people were very fertile, and those young girls were having babies at sixteen, seventeen. I would say a whole lot, right? Yeah.
We we knew it was a whole lot. Um Because Cain married one of his sisters. And here at this time. when the flood came along, Most theologians and historians estimate. The population of the earth at that time was about eight billion people.
Eight billion people. And so Here out of eight billion people God saved Eight were pretty. preserved He spared eight out of eight billion.
Okay, kind of tells you a little something there. Because guess what? We'd just gone over that eight billion mark. Today the estimation. It's something to think about, isn't it?
Mm-hmm. Now Uh she was the first. An only woman. To be made perfect, she was made perfect, the very first and the only woman. to be made without any flaws.
She was the first Woman that wasn't born but created. She was the very first woman. To be deceived by Satan, wasn't she? Yeah.
She was the very first woman to receive the divine prophecy of the cross. We read that Genesis 3:15. She was the very first. Woman To have lost a son. Abel, she lost Abel, didn't she?
She did.
So that would have made her the very first mourner, huh? Correct. She was the very first woman to have a murderer. As a son to have a murderer as a son that was Cain. How do you think?
I mean, can you imagine this? Because this had never happened to any of them before. And here But she's got this son. Can you imagine the sorrow of a mother to have two sons and one kills the other? Mm-mm.
King David knew a little bit about that kind of sorrow with his sons, huh? Yes, it did. No. Here She was the first mother. She was the first grandmother.
She was the first great grandmother. She was the first great great grandmother. She was the first great-great-great-grandmother. and I don't even know. How how Many generations that goes.
But Uh I don't think It'll ever be matched, do you? I don't think so. No. She was the very first woman to sin. Very first woman to sin.
And that was the bad news. The good news She was the very first woman to have her sins forgiven, eh? Exactly. And so How do you know? Because you know what?
There are people out there today that say that. Did Adam and Eve, they don't believe Adam and Eve went to heaven. How do we know that Adam and Eve went to heaven? Because everybody gets the option to accept Christ.
Well, they confessed their sins, they repented of their sins, and then we you see in uh Genesis 3.15, where it says the seed of the woman, okay. Uh w and so He tells you, you know, that's very clearly. That Adam and Eve is gonna be In heaven. And uh They were the very first couple. To be invicted.
From the garden, right? Yep. And they were the first couple They have God Himself as their landlord, That's right. Boy, do we see a lot of firsts here, didn't we? Yeah.
Alrighty. I gotta make a quick announcement. Normally, I don't do this on Sunday nights, but. Uh tomorrow's the tea party. Giuggi County Tea Party is having their uh monthly tea party meeting The election update, who was elected, who was not elected, what w will the elections mean to all of us.
The dark money that was spent in the selection system here in Ohio. They're going to be talking about that because there was folks out there a lot of dark money. All primary candidates are welcome. Come and pick up your signs. Say thanks to all of those.
So, all of you folks that had your Your signs out there, if they've been collected, they'll be there for you to come pick 'em up. No. Uh This is going to be held tomorrow at the Metzenbaum Center. And In 8,200 ch uh Cedar Road in Chesterland. That's on Cedar Road.
Or just about uh Well, just about a half a mile west of Route 306. on Cedar Road in Chesterland, And that's the Metzenbaum Center, 8200 Metzenbaum. Starts at 630. And uh Come on out now. I normally open up open up in prayer.
I don't know if I'm going to be able to because of scheduling. I'm planning on it uh to be there too to morrow uh and and to meet and greet some of the folks out there, so Uh come on out and The tea party is is Very, very important. uh played a a huge part in this this election here. uh, folks, this time I mean, the Patriots are standing up and they're pushing back. All right.
Gotta tell you this. We're up at that point where we come to where we talk about the most important thing. And, you know, I know there's uh controversy over whether or not Adam and Eve and have been well, there's one way of finding out, and that's getting there yourself. And believe me, you really would rather get to heaven than the other place. And I'm going to tell you, there's things happening.
See, a lot of people don't realize the days we're living in. The imminent return of the Lord is getting closer day by day, right now, folks. We are living in, and a lot of people don't know this, the great apostasy. The great falling away has taken place, has taken place uh you're seeing right now to day. In this country Only thirty per cent.
Only 30% of professing Christians I'll even attend church. Do you hear what I'm telling you? Today Only thirty percent of professing Christians even attend church. They're falling away. They're doing exactly what God's word, the Bible, said.
Jesus said Well, when I return, shall I find any faith? The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 7 that The vast majority of people listen, listen. This is a very clear warning. He didn't stutter. The vast majority of people are going to hell.
The vast majority are going to go to hell.
Now you don't want to be one of them. And it it you don't have to be. You don't have to be. People are destroyed for lack of knowledge. The vast majority of people out there are biblically illiterate.
They're on a fast track to a lake of fire, and they're clueless out there. And why I'm going to be talking more about that uh probably this week. As I'm going to be preaching on what is taking place with the church in America.
So here's what Jesus said. Pray to the Father, ask for forgiveness of your sin. Do that. If you haven't done it, do it tonight. You might not have it tomorrow.
Ask the Lord Jesus to be Lord of your life, all of your life, without any reservations at all, folks. He placed you first, before himself, Uh And then If you do that You will become a new creature, a born-again believer, and heir of the kingdom. It don't get better.
