The Bible teaches that death is a one-time event, and after we die, our souls and spirits will spend eternity in either torment or paradise. Jesus' teachings on the afterlife are found in passages such as Luke 16 and Luke 23, where he describes hell as a place of torment and paradise as a place of comfort. The Bible also teaches that Jesus went down into hell and preached to the spirits in prison, leading them to faith in him.

This is Pastor Richard Lewis filling in for Pastor Sanders.

So, welcome to What's Right, What's Left Ministries. the voice of the Christian resistance. And today we have On the uh What would you call that, the uh control unit, the board?

Okay. I gotta get used to all these terms, but we have the expert styles back there control everything. Thank you, Stiles. And in the studio, we have Lisa. Good evening, everyone.

And Elder Barkley. Good evening, Jesus's Lord. Amen. And this is Pledge Week this week. And if you've been listening all week, you know it's Pledge Week.

If you're not, if you're tuning in for the first time, this is Pledge Week. And so we are going to be giving out numbers and we pray that people can will call in and give their pledge to keep us on the radio. Back in the Area that are going to be taking your phone calls. We have Deacon Eric and Carl back there. And They can be reached here at...

Yeah, yeah. 281. One one one zero. That's the credit card line. And the regular pledge line is 888.

Six seven seven. nine six seven three. Let me just repeat that one more time. Eight eight eight. Two eight one One one zero.

That's the credit card line and eight eight eight. Six seven seven six nine six seven three. is the uh just the normal pledge line if you have a Have a call in. And we have some concerns today, and what we're going to do. is open with a word of prayer and uh Elder Barkley, uh Would you lead us in a prayer?

There's a couple of things you want to cover with that, please. Yes, absolutely. Amen. Father God, we just come before you, Father God. We know that your word, it declares, that the just Shall live by faith.

And so tonight, Lord God, that is what we do. We want to live by faith, for your word declares that it is impossible, without faith, it's impossible to please you, Father God.

So we want to come to you tonight knowing that. You are God, and that you are a rewarder of them that diligently seek you. And so, Father God, we seek after you tonight, and we're so thankful tonight, Father God. Because we know that you are sovereign, you are in control, you are real, Father God. We're not praying to the sky, an empty sky.

We're not praying to Buddha. We're not praying to Muhammad, but we're praying to the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. And we believe that our prayers are heard, Father God. And we have seen you move so many times in the past. And so, Father God, tonight, Lord God, we just want to start out in prayer, lifting, Father God, you up, Father God, knowing, Father God, that there is nothing too hard, there is nothing that is impossible with you, Father God.

And we come to you with our faith today, Father God. And we're reminded, Lord God, that the apostles, Lord God, that were even with you, Lord God, in the area of faith, because we do know that there are some that struggle. But those that are listening tonight, we're asking you to agree with us because the apostles. They struggled and they said, Lord, increase our faith. And Lord, you said, If we have if they had the faith the size of the grain of a mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamore tree, Be thou plucked up by the root.

And Be thou planted in the sea, and it should obey you. And so, Father God, here, Father God, again, the apostles were asking for an increase in their faith. And so, if there's someone tonight, Lord God, that is struggling in their faith, Lord God, we just ask that they would be humble enough to ask you, Lord God, and Lord, and you and your sovereign way, Lord God, you know how to increase the faith of those. But tonight, Lord God, we want to say thank you because we have had our request. This is not our first pledge week, Lord God, but there for many years, Pastor Sanders has been on the radio, and this has been going on.

And you have seen him through month after month, year after year. And so, Father God, tonight we ask that the hearts of the people would be touched tonight, Lord God, that they may sow.

Some people are asking, Lord God, well, what can I do?

Well, this is a perfect opportunity to sow in and be able to help. This gospel gets to places that you may not be able to walk to, drive to, but this radio station, the airways, can carry this message perhaps where you can't. And so it's a beautiful thing to have this opportunity open. And we also want to remember the visionary of this station, Lord God, right now, tonight, Pastor Sanders, Lord God, needing much rest tonight, Lord God. We pray that you would strengthen him, Lord God.

We know you are the God that heals, Lord God. We know that you are the God that restores, rejuvenates, Lord God, revives, Lord God. And we just pray, Father God, that you would, Father God, see about your servant tonight, Lord God. Strengthen him, Lord God. And, Father God, raise him up strong, Lord God, again for the much needed rest that he needs.

And so, Father God, we just pray tonight that we would go on and glorify your name. And we just ask you to be with us in Jesus' name. Amen and amen. Yeah. And that's what's happened here.

Pastor Sanders called me this afternoon and asked if I'd fill in for him. And uh Certainly I will. We're going to go through some scriptures tonight. For our Bible study, and I'm taking this out of a little booklet. It's called What Happens at Death.

And Death is something that we're all face, we're all going to face. It's uh You know, we we're were born and were born to die actually.

So, everybody, I don't care if you're a Christian or a non-Christian. Um Fortunately or fortunately, you're going to leave this earth and you're going to die. And this little booklet, let me just start out with what it says in the little booklet here. It says, what happens at death? What happens to a person when they physically die as a Christian and a non-Christian?

Death is a subject that everyone Christians and non-Christians alike talks about. and we'll have to face it some time. If the Lord doesn't come first. When we die, What really happens? Is there nothingness?

or is there some place that we go? Where's it? Let us examine the Creator's book and see what God the Father has to tell us about this important subject. We get only one physical life. The Word of God teaches that we are given only one physical life here on earth, no second chance.

no coming again as some other being, just one time, than the judgment of Al the Almighty. Hebrews 9:27 says, and it is appointed. Unto men. once to die, but after this a judgment. This verse acknowledges clearly that we are given only one life here on earth.

It says unto man, once to die. This concept is supported. With the statements in the book of Psalms, Psalm seventy eight, verse thirty nine says For he remembereth that they were but flesh, a wind that passeth away and cometh not again. Also, we find additional confirmation of this teaching in another passage. in the book of Psalms.

As for man, His days are as grass. As a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. for the wind passes over it, and it is gone in the place thereof. She'll No n be known. No more.

That was uh fif verses fifteen through sixteen. The Creator of heavens and earth tells us That these mortal robes were made to live. in this earthly realm only once, then to pass on and come not again. We only have one life here in this world. No second chance.

No reincarnation. God made Adam out of the dust of the ground, and the psalmist tells us. that our bodies will return to the dust. Thou hidest thy face. They are troubled.

Thou takest away thy breath. They die and return. When our physical bodies die, it will return to the dust of the earth. from whence it came, As it happens, Our lot is sealed. where we g where we, our soul and spirit, will spend eternity.

This is true for both the Christian and the non Christian. But what about us? our soul and spirit, our bodies. are just vessels to hold our souls and spirits. Second epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Corinthians chapter 5, verses 1 through 5 tells us.

For we know That w If our earthly house Of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from a heaven. if so, be it that being clothed We shall be found Not found naked, for we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened. Not for that. we would be unclothed, but clothed upon That mortality might be swallowed up i of life.

Now he that hath wrought us for us. For the selfsame thing is God. who also hath given us unto the earnests of the Spirit. God is talking to the true Church here. giving them words of comfort, telling them What is prepared for their soul and spirit?

This heavenly house or tabernacle. Will not be like are old fleshly bodies that But will be eternal, everlasting.

So the question still remains. what does the real us, our soul and spirit, go? When this life is over. our fleshly bodies. When we talk about this, And that just kind of gives us a little introduction in it.

When we talk about this, You know, the Bible is very Logical. When you study the Bible It it makes perfect sense. And you know. Where we're going to go when we die, or what happens to us when we die, is a question that everybody is concerned with. Even non-Christians talk about this.

Matter of fact, there's been a number of books written on the subject. There's, I think, even a couple of movies that have been out where.

Somebody Supposedly, he had died, saw something, and came back to life. And then they talk about their experience. in the afterlife. And so the curiosity is In mankind is almost built in because we know these bodies wear out and we're going to die.

So Knowing that Jesus came to earth. And walk this earth and gave us All the answers that we need. As he ministered to the different people As we read through Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

So Would you not think that God would talk about death? And where we're gonna go when we die? I mean, it would make sense that Jesus would at least give us some glimmer into the afterlife. If that's a big concern with us, and obviously it is, if we're alive, What we find over in Luke sixteen, a passage that talks about. A place.

And we're gonna uh Randy, would you read that? Starting in verse 19 in Luke 16.

Okay. Randy, before you start, I do just want to say Lynn in Minnesota pledged $1,000. Oh, wow. Praise the Lord. All right.

All right. Thank you for jumping in like that, Stiles. And please, praise the Lord. Thank you so much. Thank you.

And please, right before you read that, let me just give the numbers again and just. Um They really need the funds to stay on the air. You know, we really need people to, if you're listening, And no matter what the amount is, don't be thinking that $1,000 is wonderful. Yeah. And praise the Lord for that.

But don't think that you can only if you can only give a little bit, you say, Oh, it's hardly worth calling in. I can only give this much, don't please. If all the listeners called in and just gave a little bit, the bucket would be full and overflowing. But the numbers, uh, credit card numbers, eight eight eight. two eight one one one one zero And the regular pledge line is 888.

Six seven seven Nine six seven three. Mm-hmm.

Okay, so we're going to read Luke 16, verses 19 through 31.

Okay, here we are. uh there was a certain rich man which was clothed in purple, and fine linen. and fared sumptuously every day. and there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate. Full of sores, and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table.

Moreover, the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died. and was buried. And in hell, he lifts up his eyes, being in torments.

and seeth Abraham afar off. and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried, and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me. and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue. for I am tormented in this flame.

But Abraham saith, Son, Remember that thou in thy lifetime receivest thy good things? and likewise Lazarus evil things? but now he is comforted and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you There is a great golf fixed.

so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot, neither can they pass to us that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee, therefore, Father, that thou wouldst send him to my father's house. For I have five brethren, and that he may testify unto them lest they come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses, And the prophets Let them hear them. And he said, Nay.

Father Abraham but if one went unto them from the dead, They will repent. And he said unto him, if they hear not Moses? And the prophets, neither will they be persuaded the one. ROSE FROM THE DEAD Okay, so what's that telling us? God is telling this account.

About Lazarus and the rich man here. And they both die. One ends up in torments. And one ends up in Abraham's bosom.

Now what so one is comforted. in Abraham's bosom, and one is in torments. And it tells us that In hell, So they're they're in hell. Mm-hmm.

Because it tells us right there that in hell they lifted up he lifted up his eyes in torments.

So The rich man was in hell, obviously. and he looked across and he could see Abraham So It appears that Abraham's down there too. Because there's a great gulf fixed, and it certainly is not He's not looking from hell to heaven.

So It's it's appears from this passage That there is Two sides to hell. A good side and a bad side You have Torments And you have Abraham's bosom. And between the two, there's a. it tells us a great gulf fixed. A canyon.

Or whatever you want to describe it as, but there's some way that they can't pass from one to the other. And there's another interesting point before we leave this section. is that When the rich man realized that He's not going to get out of this area that's in torments in hell. What does he say? He says Send somebody to warn my brothers.

So if A loved one would end up in torments, In hell. What would you think the loved one would be telling? Would saying please Send somebody to those ones that are still alive. To warn them so they don't have to come here, follow me. That's right.

Some people say, well, we'll all rejoice in hell or something.

Well, there's no rejoicing there. No.

So let's let's Take this passage that we just read. And I just gave you some point pointers that we wanted a Uh pull out of here.

Now, let's see if that lines up with the rest of the scriptures.

Okay. Before we do, David, New Jersey pledged 100.

Okay, David. David in New Jersey pledged 100. Praise the Lord. Thank you, David. Thank you.

Yeah, what's also interesting, Pastor, is that this particular passage of scripture that we read in the book of Luke. These are words in red.

So, this is Jesus giving this account, giving this parable. Uh, and so, although all of the word is true, we know that, but this is this is the words in red. I mean, you really want to pay attention and listen, and uh, you. Yeah. We we talk a lot or a lot of people are concerned about as you mentioned about death and the afterlife and Um You know Not only what will happen on the other side, but a lot of people they do what is necessary to provide.

For their loved ones on this side through the form of insurance. Sure. But some people. Uh don't press into assurance. And here we have this situation here.

Uh although this man was wealthy, He didn't have that blessed assurance. He didn't provide or do the things that were necessary for the afterlife. Everything was about this life. No concern about the life after. And here he winds up in hell.

And it's a very interesting dialogue that they have here at the end because he's concerned for his brothers, who no doubt were probably partying with him. They fared sumptuously. There you go. All of that. Uh but they had this mindset Uh that This is basically it.

So now he's trying to be an evangelist. He wants somebody to go and talk to his brothers and tell them about this place. And it's interesting to note. How Jesus responds. He says they have Moses.

And they have the prophets. And he's believing, yeah. But if somebody went from the dead, and I think that Jesus really was speaking prophetically here because he said.

Well, that's Abraham speaking there. And so, yeah, uh and yes, that was talking about Jesus Christ, someone coming from the dead, of course. Right. Of course he's saying that. Yes.

Yeah. So uh but yeah, so he's tr Pleading with Abraham to to somebody send send somebody to talk to his brothers. Yeah. Yeah. And the fact again that They they would not even listen, though one would rise.

from the dead. How many people do we try to witness to even now, Jesus did rise from the dead, and we try to tell them about Jesus and they still won't hear?

So, just what he said, though one rose from the dead, you have people that have a heart that just won't believe. Yes, yes.

So Let's expand this because I want to cover these points, and we're going to go beyond our break at 10:30. What I want to do is The We're going to go over to Luke 16. We're in, I'm sorry, not Luke 16, Luke 23.

Okay. 43. Jesus is on the cross. The thief on the cross, the one thief. Is railing against him.

The other thiefs, you know, more or less say, hey, don't you, this man didn't do anything. We're guilty, we're being punished for it. But uh This man did nothing wrong. Exactly. And then he says, Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom.

Doesn't he say that? Right, exactly.

So then, in verse 43, what does he say there? He says And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, to day shalt thou be with me in Paradise.

Okay. We're going to take a quick break. We'll be right back. 888-281-1110.

Some glad morning. When this life is over Fly away. To that home. On God's celestial shore ALL Fly away. I fly away oh glory I'll Fly away.

When I die, hallelujah by and by. Uh I'll fly away. Just a few more weary days and then. Uh Fly away. To that land where joy will never end.

Uh fly away I'll Fly away, oh Oh, glory. I'll fly away. When I die, hallelujah by and by. Uh I'll fly away. Oh wow.

Fly away or Oh, glory, I'll fly away in the morning. When I die Hallelujah by and by. Uh I'll fly away. Okay, I'll fly away. Boy, that's appropriate for what we're c studying here.

I'll fly away and remember The number eight eight eight. 281-1110. Please call in. We need those pledges, folks. I think if they would have heard Style back there singing, we could get a lot more pledges.

Yeah. I don't know about that. They might start trying to take money back.

Okay, we just read Uh Luke twenty three forty three. And Jesus on the cross said to the thief on the cross, he said, today. You will be with me in paradise. Yeah. That same day.

That same day. Okay. Now let's go over to Matthew 2. 12. Forty.

Go ahead, Donna. Yeah, forty.

Okay. All right. For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly.

So shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Okay. Now wait a minute. Jesus said Today, to the thief on the cross. You'll be with me in paradise. And now it says He was in the heart of the earth.

For three days. Three days and three nights. Yeah. The Son of Man.

Okay. Now Mark eight thirty one Tells us, what does Mark 8:31 tell us? And I'm going to catch the next one.

Okay. 831 says, And he began to teach them. that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and of the chief priests, And scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

So it's telling us very clearly that Jesus spent three days and let and in Acts 2:27, it says, Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou see thine holy one. To see corruption.

So. What does it tell us? Jesus went down into hell. Yeah. Now I won't we won't read these two, but Job 11.

eight tells us hell is down. Yeah. And Deuteronomy thirty, twelve tells us hell uh, heaven is up.

Okay. So Jesus went down into hell. People d when you talk to that ab talk about that, people kinda like, whoa. Jesus went to hell? Yeah.

What do you mean Jesus went to hell? How could Jesus go to hell, right? That's right.

Well, it tells us very clearly that Jesus went to hell, but what did we learn in Luke 16? There's two sides of hell at that time. Mm-hmm.

There was Abraham's bosom, and there was torment. Yeah. What side do you think he went to? Yeah. Okay.

The oth the other question that we want to talk about Is Where did The Old Testament Believers, the Old Testament saints, The true, the ones that were saved in the Old Testament, where do they go? Yeah. Now Did they go right to heaven? Or did they go to hell? in Abraham's bosom.

Yeah. I believe it would have been Abraham's bosom because he was speaking.

Okay, you're lining up with scripture. That's good.

So, uh Verse uh John, go to John and I'll get Ephesians. John 3:13. 13 reads. And no man hath ascended up to heaven. But he That came down from heaven even the Son of Man, which is in heaven.

Okay, so that tells us no man has ascended up to heaven yet. Mm-hmm.

So the Old Testament saints Had to be down in Abraham's bosom. Yeah. Lazarus went. And they could not have gone to heaven yet because it says no man has ascended up to heaven yet. Yeah.

Yeah. A true 10 says, Wherefore he saith, when he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive. And gave gifts unto men.

Now that he ascended, what is it but that he? Also, descended first into the lower parts of the earth. He that descended is the same also that ascended up. Far above the heavens. that he might Phil all things.

So here we we're Showing that Jesus is the first to ascend. Mm-hmm.

So What was Jesus doing in hell during that time?

Well, let's find out.

Okay, why don't you turn to 1 Peter 3, 18 through 20?

Okay, and it reads. uh for christ also hath once suffered for sins The just for the unjust That he might bring us to God. being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit. By which also he went and preached unto the spirits. in prison which some time were disobedient, when once the long suffering of God waited in the days of Noah.

While the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is eight souls. were saved by water.

Okay. Mm-hmm.

So it's He went down into hell. And he preached.

Now That Our s our fate is sealed when we die. We are d the decision has been made when we pass this life. That we are Arts Destination is one way or the other. There's no change. Mm-hmm.

If that's the case. And these people that are in hell. Are dead He certainly isn't going down there to preach salvation or to preach the salvation message, is he? Mm-hmm.

Because it wouldn't do any good because their fate is sealed, the scripture tells us.

So who would he have been preaching to? Yeah. He had to be preaching to the faithful. that are in Abraham's bosom. Right.

Okay. So, what would he have been preaching if he's preaching to the faithful in Abraham's bosom that are saved and resting in Abraham's bosom?

Well, one of the things that comes to mind is even when he started his ministry, he went back to the place in Isaiah. And he began to preach: the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for He has sent me to. You know, to preach the gospel, to heal the brokenhearted, and all of that. They had delivered him that book. And when he sat down after he had quoted that He said.

And their eyes were fastened on me, say, today. Is this fulfilled in your ears? And so there's a when you're talking about prophecy Uh especially there's a time when the word can be spoken. And then a time. Where the word can be fulfilled.

So you're with this, you're. You would have to be going all the way back to Genesis when the word, when God spoke the word. uh about the about his heel being bruised. uh about the head of the serpent being crushed. And of course that The Christ that was preached about that would come, the Redeemer of Israel.

is here. Yes. This is the fulfillment. Of the word.

Okay, and that would have been, it's logical and scriptural that he would have come down. and said I'm the Messiah. I came to earth. The scriptures are fulfilled. The Messiah has come, your Savior has come finally after all these years.

And We're victorious over death now. Yeah. So he's preaching to the saved over there, telling them we got victory now.

So That's the only thing he could have preached because he certainly is not preaching to the lost, the ones in torment, because it's too late for them.

So in I read in Ephesians 4. Let me read this other verse. It says Wherefore he saith, when he ascended up on high, he He led captivity captive. and gave gifts unto men.

So, what happened when he ascended? He was down in hell for three days. And it says that he led captivity. Who was in captivity? Yeah.

The ones in Abraham's bosom, they were in captivity. Waiting for the Messiah. Yeah. Because Jesus had to be the first to ascend. Absolutely.

No man ascended before that. Yeah. Yeah. Now some people will look at like Enoch. Or um Elijah.

Okay, Enoch was taken. He did not die. But According to the scriptures, Jesus was the first to ascend. Right. So Enoch must have been taken over to Abraham's bosom.

Mm-hmm.

Same with Elijah. Left in a ch flaming chariot. But Again, Jesus says Jesus was the first to ascend.

So. They all had to be there in Abraham's bosom, waiting for the great news that the Messiah has come. The Messiah is coming. Praise the Lord. Now it says he left captivity captive.

Now, remember back, we mentioned that on the cross, Jesus said. To the thief, today you will be with me in paradise.

Now, obviously, he's considering paradise. as Abraham's bosom. Mm-hmm.

He was three days down there.

So he's referring to Abraham's bosom or paradise being the same place. Mm-hmm.

And now he's leading captivity captive. When he ascended upon high then, He took Abraham's bosom, that side of hell with him. Up to heaven.

Now you say, well, wait a minute, does that line up with all the scriptures we've covered? And I think it does.

Okay, now. How do you know he took all that up to heaven? It says he led captivity captive, but how do you know he took that chunk of? hell up to heaven with them. Turn over to Second Corinthians twelve Two through five.

2 Corinthians 12, 2 through 5. And it reads, I knew a man in Christ above 14 years ago.

Okay, hold up one second. This is Paul. Paul is rehearsing what he went through. Right. Okay.

And he's talking about. Go ahead. This vision. Yeah, I knew a man in Christ above 14 years ago, whether in the body, I cannot tell, or whether out of the body, I cannot tell. God knoweth Such an one caught up to the third heaven.

And I knew such a man, whether in the body or out of the body, I cannot tell, God knoweth. How that he was caught up. into paradise. and heard unspeakable words which is not lawful for a man to utter. Of such and one will I glory, yet of myself I will not glory, but In mine infirmities.

Okay, so The third heaven. is where God's domain. We know that how God made the heavens, first heaven, second heaven, and the third heaven is where God domains. We find that in Genesis and that.

So, Paul. Paul was taken up into that third heaven. which is called paradise. But Paradise. Where was Paradise before it went up there?

Well what did we read? Yeah, Abraham's bosom. It was in Abraham's bosom and Abraham's bosom was in hell. Yeah. So that shows that Jesus took that side of hell up to heaven with us.

Yeah. And now, today What do we have? We have just torments down there, hell. Uh-huh.

So today and another place Paul says, I'm betwixt the two, whether it'll be with you. Or to be with Jesus.

So we know that when we die, if we are saved, We're going to be with Jesus. And he's sitting at the right hand of the Father.

So we know absolutely for sure. With these passages that There's two only One side of hell now. Yeah. The torment side, which we don't want to go to. Right.

And then we have the hell the heaven side, which is paradise. Yeah. And that's up in the third heaven. Yeah, and it it's something because we have to understand how sin separated us from God, but Christ came to be our reconciliation. He reconciles us to God.

And it's a process that is unfolding Um uh to to to to restore that and even even as we look ahead i mean we know Uh, we have the tribulation period that will be coming, the thousand-year reign of Christ, and then you look further in Revelation. We know, of course, that Satan's going to be released for a season, uh, and he's, you know, and then we see the final war, and then we see also in Revelation where. Uh the new Jerusalem will come down and will Dwell or be a part of the earth, and what was Long ago in the garden will be restored.

So it's a process that is continuing. Continuing to unfold. Yeah, and that earth, that new earth that God makes, that you're talking about in the Revelation, is. There'll be no seas anymore. There'll be no, so it's going to be just all earth.

But let me hit these numbers again. I don't know how they've been calling in, but I haven't got any notices. It's been quiet for a while. It's been quiet.

Okay, folks, you're a little too quiet. We really need you to call in. 888. 281. One one one zero And the other line is 888.

six seven seven nine six seven three. Please call in. in order for Pastor Sanders to stay on uh the Stations that you're listening to, he needs to have support from each of those locations.

So, Please. If you can't possibly Uh Come in, give a pledge, give a donation, whatever you can do to help keep them on the air.

So important. Yeah, also, I'm going to pledge 100 right now.

Okay. And um Also want to just say this to everybody. Listen, this is super, super important time. for us to k continue to sew into these types of radial ministries that are bringing you the truth the best that we can because some people are kind of Sitting back, like, okay, well, Trump's in and he's got his team, and everything is no, they are actively trying to take down stations and people that are promoting the truth. And this is an opportunity that you could sow into.

Again, as I said, sometimes you wonder, well, what some people may wonder, well, what can I do? I can't do much. Maybe I'm physically incapable of doing some things.

Well, just your little bit would go a long way. And again, even as Pastor says earlier, if you can't give 100, don't be ashamed to call in and give $5 or give $10. Or if it's a dollar, hey, everything. Helps, and we need everybody's help, and you will sew into this opportunity. To help others not only receive the gospel, but the news of what currently is going on.

So, please, please, folks, let's sow in tonight. Let's take that load off of Pastor Sanders, that stress. Let's take that off of him. We can do it. Yes, yes.

And we as we were praying earlier, we just pray for Pastor Sanders' health and pray that his recovery is swift and that he c can get back on the airwaves.

So, uh yes. Uh and I I pray this this little message about what happens at death uh is of value to somebody listening out there because that's such an important subject, and I wanted to take a little bit of time today and uh go over it and let you know. the scriptures that are associated with it.

So yeah. Pray it touched some hearts out there.

Okay, we have A few articles we want to talk about. Do we have? Yeah, we have time for at least hitting an article or two. You want to hit one? You have one handy?

Yeah, one of them disappeared from me. Here, let me do it. There's a couple that we've read over, and Pastor Sanders always has more articles than we possibly could read during a program.

So we take a look at them and we kind of evaluate which is kind of the. What we think is kind of more current or most appropriate for. the program so We went through some of these and we have a stack in front of us.

So go ahead.

Well, we'll go with this one. I think this one will make Styles smile.

Okay. It says: the Justice Department presented evidence to a federal grand jury in Maryland against former National Security Advisor John Bolton for allegedly transmitting highly classified materials through his private AOL email account during his 2018-2019 tenure. The investigation centers on documents labeled secret and confidential related to weapons of mass destruction, as well as personal notes resembling a diary that may contain additional classified details. Prosecutors argued that. Bolton willfully removed, retained, and transmitted national defense information violation.

Of sections of the Espionage Act of nineteen seventeen. Um It says that He added, and now separately, the top national prosecutor in Maryland. Thomas Sullivan arrives and goes in the same grand jury room. Let's see. Oh, I'm sorry.

Bolton, who has spent. who has spent attacking Trump uh on CNN and his memoir, The Room Where It Happened, is accused of keeping notes, classified memos and digital files that the National Security Council explicitly warned him to return. Investigators allege he lied during his debriefing, claiming he had no notes from his White House tenure, only for the NSC to later discover otherwise. The Biden administration halted the investigation into Bolton, but FBI Director Cash Patel revived it and ordered the raid on the former Natsuit. National Secretary Advisors.

Home. On August 22nd, 2025, FBI agents executed court. Authorized searches of Bolton's Maryland home and his Washington, D.C. office as a part of federal investigation into Improper retention, transmission, or loss of classified information. According to an unsealed to unsealed doc Unsealed court documents.

Agents seized multiple devices, computers, tablets, iPads, flash drives, and cell phones, along with boxes of documents labeled Trump. And a binder entitled Statements and Reflections to Allied Strikes. New documents released revealed that John Bolton stored classified information about. WMDs, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and the United Nations.

Okay. Here's my issue with that, Randy.

Okay. This is why I'm not smiling. Uh-oh. Eighteen counts of espionage is good and dandy. I think that's very appropriate.

Uh-uh. Here's my issue. He was in contact with Iran, if I'm not mistaken. He had information about our national defense and security. Why is this not an act of treason?

Why is he not being charged with treason? Because treason has no statute of limitation. Treason can be applied to Hillary Clinton if we want it to for these same things. Why is he not charged with treason?

Well Yeah, and uh the thing is Treason. I don't know if you researched uh the idea of treason and that, but I think there's a little clause. In the records or the Constitution or something. that because Congress had adjourned without giving notice on when they were going to come back, Ba way back in the 1800s, I think it was. That it eliminates them being able to really charge somebody with treason now.

And it's a legal thing, and I had read about it years ago, and I don't really remember exactly what it is. Maybe somebody, one of our listeners, know better than that. But there's something where I don't know if they can actually legally charge somebody with treason at this point. Yeah, well, hopefully, some of these charges will be elevated. I would have to agree with you.

I think that what he did, it really is treasonous. And also, if I'm not mistaken, he's been under investigation for almost, I believe, 10 years. It was just the Biden administration. They were reluctant to actually. Have the indictment come forward, but right now uh President under President Trump, you know.

It's time to pay the Piper. Yeah. Well, I've got undeniable good news, and that's that Dan in San Diego pledges 60. All right. Okay, thank you, Dan.

San Diego. All right. Praise the Lord. Thank you. Well One uh with Bolton I have an article here and We have two minutes.

We're going to try to get this in before it, but if not, I'll finish it at the second hour. It talks about The United Nations Is to institute a de facto tax on American citizens. And it's the article starts out: The United States boasts plenty of coal, wood, and fowl. Enough to provide all the tar and feather required.

So We might use that if there's enough left over after doing the United Nations, we might use that on Bolton. We may not be able to get a treason, but we sure could tar and feather them. I'm all in favor of bringing back tar and feather. Let's put that back into. At least we can do that if they won't allow us to call it treason.

This says. I'll tell you what, I'm going to read this right after the break. But it made me laugh when I read this about what the United Nations trying to do. And the article starts out telling us that the United States has plenty of oil and And feathers fouls to be able to tar and feather somebody. And that's really what we want to be able to do.

That's It's interesting.

Some of these politicians are just shameful for what they've done. And the same thing That uh They They attacked. Trump and trying to say he did. They allowed Hillary to get away with it. And what happened?

Bolton. And I'm sure they're screaming that, oh boy, they're the FBI's on Bolton. What in the world?

Well, people, we need to get some more pledges in here before Pastor Sanders tars and feathers us. Thank you for listening to What's Right, What's Left, the voice of the Christian Resistance.
