No they do not. Good evening pastor. Alright, and then you heard the cackle, always cackle, never any eggs. That's little Lisa. Good evening everyone. And our special guest tonight is Mia McDougall. Hey Mia.

Hello pastors, great to be here tonight. Alrighty, we've got a lot to get to tonight, so we've got to throw her out of here. We've got to get her out. Go back there.

Anyhow, and get after those guys in the back. Alright, we are going to start, we have a lot of things to talk about tonight. And we're going to start, Mia is with Turning Point USA. And she's going to find and tell us all about what she's doing with Turning Point USA.

It's some good stuff. But we always get to the best part of the program. There's two parts, the beginning and the end. In the beginning we do God's Word, which takes precedence over all the rest of the program. And in the very end we always give an invitation for people to accept the Lord Jesus. So, title of the message was, Jesus Offers Himself to the Nation of Israel. And in short, it's referring to the triumphal entry into Jerusalem. And we start tonight in Matthew chapter 21, and you can just ask me any questions as you go along through there. And so, verse 1, And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the Mount of Olives, then sent Jesus to disciples. Now, when you listen to scripture, listen closely because he tells you a lot of things in there, if you're listening closely, that a lot of people miss. They just read through it and saying it to them, Go into the village, over against you, straight away, and you shall find an ashtide and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them unto me. And if any man say, Ought unto you, you shall say, The Lord hath need of them, and straightway he will send them.

So now he's here. This is the, first of all, Bethphage was a little village about a mile east of Jerusalem. And here, when he talks about the ass and the colt, this is the only place in the scriptures where it refers to both the she-ass and the colt. Over in Luke 19 and 30, it only refers to the colt. And then, in Mark 11 and 2, it only refers to the colt. But here, it refers to both the colt and its mother. Now, when the word foal is used, that means that it's not broken.

That's a colt that has not been broken to write yet. And so, now verse 3 is very important. Listen carefully, because there's a message in there he's sending. And if any man say, Ought unto you, that means anything unto you, you shall say, The Lord hath need of them, and straightway he will send them. So, what does this tell us? He's sending them, he's letting you know that there are going to be people there already who recognize that he's the Messiah. That's why he's referring to it. You tell them the Lord has said, and those people will take care of you right away.

They'll send them. All this was done that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by the prophet, saying, Tell you the daughter of Siam, behold, the king cometh unto the meek, and sitting on an ass, and a colt, and a foal of an ass. Now, there again, that word foal means it's not broken, not ready to be written. But Jesus was not an ordinary man. Yeah, he had no problem writing it. Pardon? He said yes, he had no problem writing it. Absolutely.

And so, probably couldn't even feel him on his back. You don't know. And so, here, I want to jump over real quick to Isaiah 62. Isaiah 62, verse 11. Now, these are the prophecies, so already really we're seeing prophecies being fulfilled.

Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, say ye to the daughter of Siam, behold, thy salvation cometh. Behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. Now, the very name Jesus means salvation. And so, here, believe me, the scribes and the Pharisees and the Sadducees, they knew this. They had this scripture here, okay? They were very well aware of this. And so, they were also very, very well aware of Isaiah 53, which perfectly described Christ and Christ alone.

Only Christ. It described him perfectly. So, that was 800 years before his birth, before this was taking place. So, now, these people, knowing, I mean, they had to know who he was, okay?

And yet, even knowing who he was, they rejected him. So, here, this passage of scripture is called the triumphal entry, but humanly speaking, it's anything but that because God's ways are much, much higher than ours. Jesus actually is coming to announce that his people were going to reject him.

They could have, had they received him, they could have gone right into the millennial kingdom, but they rejected him. And so, here now, I want to go over to Zechariah chapter 9, and Zechariah chapter 9, we read verse 9. Now, this is interesting because the word of God is not in chronological order.

A lot of times you'll have, it'll be speaking of something, and then it'll refer back to another time. And now, in this case here, in two verses, you jump ahead over 2,000 years. And so, here in verse 9, we read, Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, the King cometh unto thee.

He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt, the foal of an ass. Again, here, all these prophecies are being made. In fact, we could actually go to Revelation 22, but I'm not going to jump there right now. But, this is clearly a messianic prophecy.

Again, now think about this, what I just read to you. Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, the King cometh unto thee. He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt, the foal of an ass.

Now, this here is profound, and I'll tell you why it's profound. This verse is quoted in Matthew and Mark and Luke and John. It's the only verse that's quoted in all four of them. And here, we're referring to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Now, I know that they were talking about an accustom in the days. In those days, if a king were to enter into Jerusalem, if it be peace, he would ride on a donkey, and maybe that was accustom among the Jews. But, if it were war, he would ride a horse. Now, we're talking about the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Here comes Jesus, and he is riding upon this colt.

Now, there's a reason for that. Instead, he chose, when he comes, one is lowly, one is afflicted, and he's not identifying himself with the hoi polloi, with the wealthy and the rich and the influential. He's identifying himself with the poor people there. And so, going back to where we were in Matthew chapter 21, picking it up in verse 6. And the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them, and brought the ass and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him their pond. And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way.

Others cut down the branches from the trees and strewed them in the way. Now, the multitudes went before and followed, crying, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David, blessed is he that come in the name of the Lord, Hosanna to the highest. Now, do you know what that word, hosanna, hosanna means? It translates to Hebrew meaning, please save, please save us, is what he's saying here. So, remember the Lord's name means salvation, and now they're saying to him, please save us, please save us. And when he was coming to Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, who is this? Now, here you had these people from all over coming into Jerusalem, but now the Galileans, who knew who Jesus was, okay, many of them accepted him. And the multitude said, this is Jesus, the prophet of Nazareth, of Galilee.

Now, they referred to him, they thought he was just a prophet, okay, but they thought that prophet had the power to overthrow the Roman government. And so here now, and then Jesus went into the temple of God, and he cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money chambers, changes, and the seats of them that sold doves. Now, this is the second time that he went into the temple, okay, the first time, it was very early in this ministry. In fact, if we go over to John chapter 2, and John chapter 2 started with verse 13, and the Jews' Passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now, why do you think, why do you think, now John was a Jew, so why do you think he says, and the Jews' Passover, why didn't he just say in our Passover?

It's because he was writing to the Gentiles, okay? And so, and he found in the temple those that sold oxen, and sheep, and doves, and the changes of money, you know, we're going to have to stop right here, because we forgot this is pledge week. You're with Turning Point USA, how did you get mixed up with that bunch, Leah? Yeah, so, it's a really, it's a really interesting story. I, as we're sitting here together, I, not very old, but for about a third of my life, I have been really interested in politics since I really was in middle school. And I had went, goodness, probably about two or three years now at this point, to watch Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens speak at The Ohio State University. And there I was actually put in touch with the field rep at the time, and he asked me if I wanted to start a Turning Point club at my local high school, and I certainly agreed to do that.

And from there I ran a chapter at my high school for two school years, and then I graduated, and it was so perfect, I was able to onboard, and now I work full-time with the company, helping students really pursue the exact opportunity that I had when I was in high school. So, how did you approach your principal at your school, or whoever it was? You went in there and you told them you wanted to get down, because usually conservative Christian organizations in public schools are not really welcome, okay? Yeah, yeah.

So, how did that happen? So, I always joke that I came off a little too headstrong. I actually just went to the principal and was like, hey, you know, I want to start a conservative club at the school. And looking back, that probably wasn't the best approach. I should have softened up and just went and said, hey, I want to start a group that focuses on really renewing patriotism amongst myself, my peers, and just trying to get, again, myself and my peers involved in something that's more than just focusing on ourselves. I mean, it's outreaching into the community. We have a lot of different initiatives that look to support our veterans, our local law enforcement, and in general, just restoring the traditional values that this country was built on. So, yeah, when I approached my principal, I came out strong, wanted to start a conservative club, and we had our struggles and whatnot, but we were able to get it off the ground.

And in hindsight, I maybe would have taken a slightly different approach, but, yeah, that is how I did it. All right, very good. All right, we have, let me see, Bob, no, Deacon John pledges 100. That's 888-281-1110. So, now, what do you do? You mostly go to schools and you try to talk to – what kind of response do you normally get? I mean, do you get a real positive response? I know Charlie Kirk likes to debate a lot of these liberals. Yeah, I'm sorry. He's ready, but they're usually not, okay?

Go ahead. Yeah, so that's, I guess, just taking a step back. Turning Point, you know, it's a very large national organization, but within my department, we have a national field program that's split into the college and the high school. So Charlie is best known for going to the college campuses and, like you said, engaging with college students who really don't know what they're talking about 99 percent of the time. And I specifically work with the high school students, so we're trying to reach them before they get to college, so they're not as impressionable and not as easily, I guess, brought into this call of leftism. So, yeah, I go into high schools and we try to work with administrators, work with people in the schools, people in the communities to actually find a student who's willing to step up and lead a group either in their school or if they're homeschooled in their community. But yeah, as far as how well we're received, I mean, it's so different from school to school. Your more rural districts, they typically tend to be more receptive than your districts that are in the bluest of the blue cities.

But again, it's so different with every scenario. I can't really give a perfect answer, but I will say the culture is definitely shifting in our favor, especially with the results of this past election. So I can only hope that we continue to grow the way we are doing right now. Now, the left is gearing up, I mean, for a hard, hard pushback. They're in a panic, okay?

They have no leadership within the Communist Party, and that's what they are, they're Communist Party. So here, let me, all right, Joyce in New Jersey pledges 35. Thank you, Joyce. Okay. So now when you go into these schools and you talk to these students, they allow you to come in and talk.

What kind of response do you normally get? You get some of the young kids today hostile, but we know that they're, again, it's turning back. We're seeing Trump kind of broke the glass ceiling with young people, didn't he?

Yes, he definitely did. And I mean, we are seeing that in schools. I always say if I'm allowed past the front door, that being like the high school office, if I'm actually allowed in the school to present to the students, I've had a lot of success.

I mean, really 100% success. I see it in every school, there's bound to be at least one student who's interested. And usually with that, I mean, the margins are even higher. I just say one to be conservative. But yeah, I mean, I actually prefer being able to go into these schools and present to all students of all beliefs what our actual mission is, what we're looking to do. Because a lot of times when, you know, especially with the online world, students who are maybe on the left, they see Charlie Kirk, and I always say you either love him or you hate him. And these students, it's easier to be receptive to something when someone's in person speaking to you. So when they're actually hearing, hey, this is what this is what we're doing, we're not coming here to try to be hostile to try to stir up tensions. We want everyone to have the opportunity to have a space to express their values, and especially the conservative values, which have been shut down for the past how many years, these students deserve a space. And when the students who are even on the left are hearing this, I mean, they're more receptive to that because, you know, we're inviting them to come to these meetings, hey, if you disagree, let's talk about it.

Let's talk about why we disagree. That's not to say that they actually come to the meetings, but the invite is on the table. And I think just having that face to face interaction is a lot better than maybe the group being established and then students finding out about it over the internet, protests being organized over the internet that exploded into something crazy that should have never happened in the first place.

So what kind of response do you get to your best response from boys or girls? Honestly, it's a really even divide, I have to say, I've heard that the that the young men in the country are trending more conservative than the young women are, which wouldn't surprise me for a number of reasons. But at least in my experience, I mean, I've seen it split pretty evenly. And really the biggest battle, especially here in Ohio, where we're at is just battling apathy in general.

Again, especially with the age of social media and the online world, people just don't generally have a lot of motivation to do anything. So even if turning point is their way to get out and do something, that's what we want to be here to be that space for them. Well, there's a reason I know that probably the case in the high school maybe but in college is not and I know when I went to college, you had at least 60% if not closer to 70% were males going to college. And the other 30% were females, that's changed all the way around today. The males, the young men, they're going trade school.

That's where actually the big money is at in the trade school. The women, these young women are going to college and now great numbers and they're being indoctrinated. The universities are cultural Marxist indoctrination and unfortunately, morally, they're declining. And I mean, coming out of these girls coming out of college, I've had so many times I've had their parents tell me that they've taken every bit of faith that they ever had out of them. And morally, they actually teach now that whatever you do before marriage doesn't count, you can sleep with as many men as you want before marriage and then after your marriage, it doesn't count but that couldn't be farther from the truth. Yeah, that's so horrible and I guess maybe I'll chime in here on a personal note, not on behalf of the organization that I work for but yeah, to that point, the young women, they're turning out of these leftist institutions more and more, I guess, left leaning. And I guess within our nature, when we talk about our nature, women tend to be the more emotional of the two sexes and that's for good reason, that's part of God's perfect design but when we try to invert that and really disrupt God's intentions for us, then that's when we're seeing the more impressionable one of the two sexes.

Again, they're being indoctrinated more easily because maybe we don't have, again, I'm not trying to knock anyone but from biological perspective, it just makes sense. The Bible teaches very clearly where the enemy attacks men in the area of pride. We see that all the way back in the area, starting with Adam and Eve, the enemy attacks women in the area of discernment.

You see that all the way going back. Every time God placed men in charge, every time a man listened to his wife instead of God, it didn't turn out well. So you're saying we shouldn't listen to our wives? Pardon? You're saying we shouldn't listen to our wives? I'm just teasing, not over God. I don't listen to your wife.

No, I don't listen to yours either. No, what we're saying is a man is to be the head of the house. I talked to, I was just talking about that last night, I had the ladies that I was referring to from Poor Life Action, and they were saying, women, Christian ladies, want their men to be strong, they want them to be controlled, to be the head of the house, like the Bible teaches. But whenever you've seen that, we started with Adam knew God had spoken to Adam, but he listened to his wife. Instead, that was his Achilles heel right there. Abraham listened to Sarah. Boy, did that end up not well either there. And then you saw Ahab listen to Jezebel, and you saw what that got him, right?

And so, all through Scripture, when these men don't take their rightly place as the heads of the house, and they listen to their wives and not God, it never ends well for them. Alright, Maryland and California pledges 100, and Bill and Boston pledges 100, and Tony and Toronto pledges 125, and Joyce in New Jersey, oh we did Joyce, I think, yeah, but it's 35, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, okay. So Mia, when you go into these schools and you start talking, and you're telling these people, here's what we stand for, and what topics, I'll bet, number one, one of the, probably, the topics that come up is abortion. That's America's national sin, am I right or no? In our situation, honestly, we don't try to focus on, especially in the high schools, we don't focus on the social issues as much as we focus on really just trying to get these students an idea of what is the Constitution and what are your rights. I guess, granted to you by the Constitution, so we don't even really jump to that. Now, when students establish chapters at their schools and they're having meetings, abortion comes up in a lot of them.

I mean, but I would say, as an organization, especially as a high school department with Turning Point USA, our focus isn't as much dealing with social issues, it's really just taking, I guess, a step back from that and saying, look at the Constitution, look at your rights, and then maybe when they do get to college or in a couple of years when they're later in high school, they will be able to start having these more mature conversations. Because, I mean, a lot of these students, they aren't even capable of having a rational conversation about abortion just because they don't know even the most basic facts about it. All right, when I was in high school, if a girl had an abortion, she went to jail. She went to jail, okay? And the abortionist, he got big time.

In fact, I was in the prison ministry, we've been in the prison ministry, we've had one for 50 years, but 45 years I visited the prisons on a regular basis. And do you know that in the prison system, they have social scale, people that are white collar criminals, they're on the highest level, believe it or not, hit men are on a high level within the system. But down at the, on the lowest level, or on the ground floor, if you will, are pedophiles. But there's one floor lower than that, and that's abortionists. Abortionists, even the pedophiles, will go after an abortionist. So, the abortionists, they always have to put in solitaire, because all the other inmates will kill them, okay? That's how they're looked at in the prison system. So, they always go in with a, you know, tell people there are different charges than that.

Alrighty folks, 888-677-9673 or 888-281-1110. Did you ever have any, where you had some hard pushback from any of these young people? Are you talking about people on the left, or people within the schools? People in the schools. Pushback, at the high school level, it's not as bad as at the college level. At the college level, you have full organized protests against events and whatnot. At the high school level, I mean, some students, I suppose, again, this is a nationwide effort, so in different parts of the country, I believe it's worse.

But here in Ohio, I'm really fortunate that I haven't had any crazy encounters. The worst I have to deal with, really, is teachers who are maybe working behind your back to undermine any, I guess, positive efforts. That's the most challenging thing, but I would actually almost just prefer them coming to my face and actually saying something versus trying to, yeah, I guess sabotage things behind my back. Or behind the students' back, if you will.

It just shows the dynamic, I guess, of what we're working with and how challenging it really is. You know, that's not by accident. The Communist Party, you know, they put their, I remember you weren't born at the time, but Nikita Khrushchev took off his shoe and he beat the podium. And he said, we will bury you within. We will defeat you without firing a shot. We will indoctrinate your children. And we will give them socialism, indoctrinations over socialism, over socialism, until one day they awaken to find the communists.

And that's exactly what he did. He went into, the NEA is the country's largest union. It is communists to the bone. It's communist organization from top to bottom. The ACLU is a communist organization. I had an ACLU lawyer on here one time, and we were discussing, and I told him, I said, well, you guys are communists. He said, well, I disagree with you. I said, well, let me ask you this. Okay, you have your mission statement there and that. Show me one difference, just one difference in what you believe in the plank of the Communist Party.

He couldn't give me one. Okay. They all held up for everything that the Communist Party holds up to. If you notice how the ACLU is supposed to be for free speech, except for if it's, if it's Christians or conservatives, you know. And so for us, hypocrisy is, you know, it's something that, you know, is offensive to us. Hypocrisy is deplorable to us. But to them, hypocrisy is something to embrace.

They literally brag about their hypocrisy. Okay. In fact, we were going to show a clip here. You have them all going out now. The entire Democratic Communist Party now tonight is talking about the tariffs, the tariffs, the tariffs, right? But we have clips, we played, I played those clips of Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi saying everything that Donald Trump was saying about the tariffs in Chinese. But now, because Trump is saying it, they've switched. And they have this Trump derangement syndrome.

It's just unbelievable, this Trump derangement. Alright, we have, did I say Maryland and California already? Yeah, I think so.

Okay, coming up at the end of this April 26th, Geauga County Right to Life is having its annual chili cook-off fundraiser cooking for life. This will be my last year to cook. I'm going to hang up my pot, folks. Not the one that I'm carrying.

Right, this is going to be the last one. No, I don't mean to brag. Yes, I do. I have 14 first place trophies for Northeast Ohio chili cook-off.

I may even have put those on display. What's the secret? If I told you, it wouldn't be a secret, would it? It's just me and you.

Real quick, Mia, I wanted to ask, when you're talking to these kids at the high schools, how many of them actually have a good grasp of what's going on in the world? And do they get that from their parents or do a lot of them differ from their parents politically? Yeah, honestly, that's such a great question. I would say the students who are leading, most of them have a decent idea of what's going on in the world.

And I just kind of wanted to tie this back. The question fits perfectly into an idea I wanted to touch on with the whole Communist revolution. When we were talking about, back a minute ago, the father being the head of the household, the man being the head of the household, what we've seen is a breakdown of the home.

And for a presentation that I've been preparing on a personal behalf, I was reading Communist documents and it was either Stalin or Lenin that said education is a weapon. And that's exactly what we've seen. So with the breakdown of the home has come parents outsourcing education, sending their kids to the state to be educated. So instead of really the parents being in charge of the moral formation of their kids, they've handed that over to the state.

And that's why we're seeing such a, I guess, decline in just the general knowledge, even the students who are involved with us. I mean, it's a lot of it, again, like we said, it's just elementary level stuff and most of them do have a decent grip and they are coming from conservative families. But that just goes to show the families who are prioritizing moral formation in the home, it's definitely- It's working. It's working.

It's working. And to the parents who aren't, who maybe they don't have any moral formation, so they aren't able to pass that down, or maybe it's just not a priority for them. At the end of the day, they're learning something from somewhere and yeah, the communists, straight from their own mouths, they use education as a weapon and that's what we're seeing in the school system. So I think if people are mindful of that, that will really wake people up to the reality of things. And yeah, to your point, children, that's the right they have is to be well formed and to be educated by their parents. So we need to make that a priority and stop letting the state really indoctrinate our next generation.

That's always been a priority in my home. My daughter's 14, she's in eighth grade, she'll be going into high school next year. And I can't even believe half the stuff she tells me about what her friends think is going on in the world. Apparently, Trump's trying to take away women's rights to vote.

If you're married, you're not allowed to vote if Trump gets his way. And she says these girls are insane, you know, and they're getting it straight from their parents. And I'm like, oh, do you correct them? She's like, sometimes I try, but it's not even worth it sometimes. I don't even want to go down the road.

Just let them sound stupid. And I'm like, yeah, it's probably your best route. Yeah, and that's what's so hard is it's like, where do you begin?

I find myself in that place more often than not is where do you even begin? These people are so lost. And yeah, again, back to the communist documents I was reading, I think her name was Alexandra Kalantai. She was a leader in Lenin's chamber, and she just talked about how having a family to woman was the most oppressive thing, having children was the worst thing. How childbirth was the most disgusting thing on the planet. I mean, it was just probably, if people have time to read it, I highly recommend it because it is the most disgusting, despicable document you will ever read.

And it will really open your eyes to how important it is to reorder our homes because, again, like you said, your daughter comes home and these people are so lost and they're hearing it from their parents who heard it from their parents. Or who heard it from CNN or they're getting the wrong information from the wrong sources and it's just plaguing society. Yes, communism has quite literally plagued society and that was their goal from the beginning, so we do have to really step up and actively combat that in every way that we're capable of doing. Communism is actually Satanism. If you look at the leaders, Karl Marx was a hardcore practicing Satanism. Now, the interesting thing, most of these, do you know where the devil goes to recruit his best champions is right often to seminaries. Karl Marx was going to seminary when he was a professing Christian and actually wrote some very good articles, then he turned completely against God.

He was never, never saved. Joseph Stalin, another one who turned completely against God. In fact, a number of – Lenin, another – so if you look at these guys, but everything they actually teach is these antichrists. And so what's taking place today, like with this thing where they're plotting killers, like this guy that killed that man who was the head of that insurance company, and now he's got a cult following where they're raising money.

Why? What did they teach? Karl Marx taught that it's all right to kill the bourgeoisie, okay? It's all right because if they're wealthy, it's because they made it off the backs of the poor, okay? The proletariat. This is what – and this is where they're picking up a lot of this stuff in these universities today. And so, again, folks, we've got to hear from you.
